This hotel was very clean, it was a very nice place to stay Kat greeted us when we checked in, was very nice and very helpful She suggested a place to eat about a mile away which was very good

Didn’t check out the pool area but judging by the rest of the place, it would be great Breakfast was hot, coffee was very good Highly recommend this place

Don’t know why the digital key never work, this is not the first time, I am disappointed The free breakfast sounds good but not tasting right, we tried the first morning then we never went back again Waffle batter taste fake, I will rather no favor but real batter

Hard boil egg will be great or just a small charge and do it right My stepdaughter live closeby, I would love to have a great hotel to stay all the time

David Strong

Interesting experience for a usually reliable Hampton Inn We were “upgraded” to 201, a larger room Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit is not up to the task of keeping the room cool

it’s an unseasonably hot June The hotel provided a box fan to get through the night Not a good long-term plan Moreover, the 2nd floor ice machine was not working Had to go to the 3rd floor The staff was pleasant and helpful

My husband and I stayed here (for the second time) last night, and we had a wonderful time We had also visited the Inn last summer, and we are huge fans The grounds are absolutely pristine; lush green landscaping, hammocks hanging from weeping willow trees, a gazebo, outdoor pool and hot tub – you name it! The groundskeeper and chef is extremely friendly and skilled, with a cute and friendly dog! The inside is also cozy and clean, and the host Michael is so friendly and warm, providing snacks, tea, coffee and water for the guests

It was our second time in the English Manor suite, which we loved The bed is comfy and the room is spacious and immaculate The bathroom has both a jacuzzi and wonderful shower with multiple jets! One of our favorite features of the Inn is the breakfast overlooking the pool Upon being seated, you are offered French press coffee, a variety of juices, fresh fruit and delicious blueberry muffins! This is followed by a selection of specialty dishes, such as a full English breakfast, pancakes, or Belgian waffles, just to name a few We look forward to returning again next summer (and plan to keep the tradition going every year)!

The Inn at Bowman’s Hill is an amazing place to stay The grounds and pool are breathtaking It is a perfect getaway to escape for the weekend

The room and bed/bedding were high quality and so comfortable It is so private and quiet, but you are minutes away from great restaurants and shops in New Hope and Lambertville Mike, the owner is a gracious host, and the breakfasts we had were amazing and kept us full all day Thank you for your hospitality and for keeping your property pristine The Inn is definitely a unique and very special place We can’t wait to come back!

christine stewart

My fiancé and I stayed at the inn for a little valentines getaway We stayed in the penthouse suite and were blown away by the beautiful grounds, property, room, views from our private terrace, etc even in the dead of winter it was breathtaking! We can not wait to stay again when the pool is open and flowers are in full bloom

The owner and inn keeper were so sweet and took such good care of us They really made our romantic night extra special and were so personable Next morning, we were sitting in the sun room surrounded by lemon trees, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t thank them enough The twilight LED lights over the jacuzzi tub with a complimentary bottle of champagne on ice was exactly what I needed to ease my stress This is our favorite -getaway from it all- and it’s only 10 min from home! I highly recommend this place!! If only we could have our wedding there… it would be perfect!C Stewart

This cute 4 room Bed and Breakfast is locate very close to Main St in Manayunk where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars The room was very comfortable and clean and unique Mark was a great host, starting with confirmation of when we would check in, advising us on parking (which can be tough but I found a space close by), organizing breakfast time and showing us all the amenities that the Manayunk Chamber House had to offer

Pack light as this Guest House is in an older house with a narrow staircase and the rooms split between the second and third floors I would stay here again as the personal touch of good innkeepers beats the large format hotels

Tom Kissel

The Manayunk Chambers Guest House is a beautifully restored old house (check out the scrapbook in the main room) situated in the hills of Manayunk Our host, Mark, greeted us and filled us in on the history of the house and the local area We booked the City Room on the second floor, which is extremely comfortable, with a king cushy bed, seating, and its own separate bathroom with a shower and a soaking tub

There are no TVs or children, which was fine by us – on our 30th Anniversary, we appreciate peace and quiet The neighborhood is relatively quiet, as well I can’t say enough about the breakfasts! Mark is a former baker, and he still keeps his oven busy Each day we had an assortment of croissants, scones, and muffins, along with unlimited coffee and tea First day was a bowl of beautifully presented fruit, nuts and whipped cream, and next day was a fruit crepe – delicious! Mark is quite a conversationalist, and the breakfast chatter was very much appreciated I don’t think he could have done anything else to make our stay wonderful When in Manayunk, please consider the Manayunk Chambers Guest House!

Syeda

A bed and breakfast is only as great as it’s host and Mark is incredible! My partner and I had an amazing new years weekend at the Manayunk Chambers Guest house We love getting away from NYC especially on busy weekends such as new years The bed and breakfast is very beautiful and the ambience was calm and classy from the piano playing in the main room to the lovely dim lighting and stain glass lamps all over the house

There are three floors with guest rooms in each floor The rooms are all very beautifully designed and perfect for couples The bed in the Suite Heart room was super comfortable We were able to sleep in and have a wonderful European continental breakfast in the morning Mark’s homemade pastries are absolutely delicious! He is a wonderful host who provides anything you need The main room has wine, beer, water, coffees, cappuccinos snacks and even games for guests One thing to note is the parking in the area is very difficult due to the tight roads and the blocks are hill like so youll definitely get a work out each time you plan to go out The area down the block has a lot of different restaurants and shops and were beautifully decorated with lights for the holiday season Nearby there’s also many hiking trails that are worth visiting especially if you’re in the area for the fall We will definitely be returning soon!

An overall fair experienceTo start, I had reserved a king room a few weeks ago On arrival at 5:30pm, was informed that no kings were available

We were given the option of taking an immediately available double queen or waiting for the king We had a concert to get to in less than two hours so we opted for the double queenThe room was at least very quiet, but it really looked pretty worn See the pics below for the quite worn desk chair, rusty hardware on the furniture and what I can only assume was a missing shower caddy? on the shower wall leaving a residue of adhesive Felt more like a two star motel rather than a 3 star hotel roomThe lobby area was quite nice however, and they serve cookies at night in the lobby, which is a “sweet” touch The hotel is also within walking distance of a Target and several chain restaurants which was convenientOverall, relatively affordable but I probably would not stay again unless I had a worse experience at a nearby hotel

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any stay This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of the most well known in the area

I have been coming here for a long time If you choose this place you definitely won’t regret itBeautiful hotel, well kept, clean, excellent service, great location for what I went for will definitely stay again if I ever visit Philadelphia again Employees very attentive and friendly

ROOM: I was extremely happy with the room accommodations I got a 2x queen bed room Lots of lighting, desk / counter space, and closet space

Mini fridge actually got coldSERVICE: There was no room service unfortunately the weekend i stayed There was one housekeeping staff that was extremely rude and attempted to literally walk through me near the elevators as i rounded a corner It was a moment of a game of “chicken” The service staff in the lobby at the reception and at the breakfast were excellentLOCATION: very safe, with frequent night patrols by hotel security, which i appreciated The hotel is tucked away in an area with nice grass and trees Only minor downside is that it is not in center city itselfOVERALL: would return

Overall not as clean as I was hoping I was pretty disappointed in the room cleanliness, especially in times of COVID when everything says “deep cleaned” The only thing pleasant about my stay was the front desk girl that checked us in

She was kind enough to change our rooms after walking into one that clearly was not cleaned You’re better spending your money at a Marriott down the road As a Hilton member, I would have expected more Cleanliness is a huge for hotels, now more than ever Unfortunately this stay left me hesitant to continue my membership with Hilton in the future

Karen Hilt

Superb 6 nights in adjoining rooms for a family funeral We came up to the bitter cold from SW Florida and our stay was terrific

Laundry facility was clean, breakfast was delicious and we loved the lobby decor So cheery and the staff was very pleasant Helpful with any issues, thankfully we had a few that had nothing to do with the hotel Parking was great and the room was superb We travel a lot as a family for sporting events and this was by far the cleanest and most accomodating The rooms were very comfortable, beds felt like home, kitchen large enough to store groceries for our long term stay Bathroom was gorgeous, LOVED the frosted glass doors!! 5 stars!!!!!

Chose to stay here based on my last experience at a Home2 suites and I am a Hilton honors member for yearsWow this place is awful Staff is rude

Upon arrival we were greeted with “Can I help you?” We walked in with suitcaseswhat could we be there for?The front desk throughout are stay were Ignoring guests because they were too busy gathering at the front desk complaining how awful the management isBreakfast was not edible The breakfast sandwiches were old and rock hard The juices and oatmeal were watered downThought this was just an off morning so decided to get up earlier the next morning to see what the breakfast offering was It was worse There was a plumbing issue and breakfast was pared downbut the breakfast sandwiches were still rock hard and the mini “omelettes” were burnt and hard No idea how that could even happenBut no problem, the staff were still at it complainingAnd who ever has the key to the sales office come in the building on her phone wearing a black romper and nearly knocked us over as she ignores us heading over to unlock the sales office I can only assume the phone call was more important than guestsThe room was dirty with minimal provisionsa roll of paper towels with only 4 paper towels left on it A dirty bathroom floorSeems they have some management issues here and rather make excuses o and cut corners than actually make changesInstead of asking people to call and discuss it, read the damn review I’m not sure how I can possibly give any more details Whatever is going on here, you should address it directly instead of avoiding it by asking people to call

I attended a special event here, so its not really a dining experience There is a decent size event space where there were over 100 people in attendance It was tight and frankly, a little hot

The food and drink were good and the people were nice and helpful There is a nice bar that looked inviting There is no parking lot, so you must find street parking or use one if the nearby municipal lots Its a cool historic building, so you get the charm, but also the issues with old buildings

Kirsten Finsterbusch

We had both of our kids’ birthdays at Temperance and have dined there too This a gorgeous establishment, with incredible historical value and very reasonably priced The food is absolutely delicious and the service is worth every penny

If you want to visit a historical venue and get delicious food, this is the place for you!! Plus, they will accommodate their menu for your littles too 🙂

This was my first time here I Finally got a night out after a few years and we chose this place from good reviews Service sucked

We waited 45 minutes after ordering food and drinks There were 2 groups that came in 20 minutes after us and they got drinks before us Okay, I understand it’s only one bartender but why did the others received drinks before us when we waited 45 minutes with nothing We left and will never come back

You have to make sure you request room cleaning services when you check in because they don’t offer it and they won’t do it unless you request it We were there a week without a cleaning and had to clean it ourselves and change our sheets ourselves because they didn’t let us we have to request these things which should be offered especially if your staying extended It should be offered or let known that you have to request the service

Other than that it’s a pretty nice hotel The gym, game room, and breakfast was good to go

Holly Quimby

Wish I could give service 10 stars I wish every hotel had a Joe He was friendly but not to the point of being annoying

Told us everything we needed to know about our stay quickly but with enough pause to check for understanding He should get a gold star Then the next morning we went down for breakfast and the man cleaning the floors had the most amazing smile and was just as pleased as Joe the night before

Feroce Intrepide

We were there 5 days ago Room was nice and clean Thumbs up to that! But the pool

Neeh! When we got in, the first thing we noticed was the pool, it is not clean it was cloudy We ended up sitting there and just chill instead After few minutes maybe 3 teenagers came in and 2 of them jumped in the pool and started to kick to make the water splash out of the pool the they got out of the pool and jumped again and make a big splash and they did that repeatedly plus they were screaming and to make it even worst caught the boy spitting in the water Very disgusting to the fact that they are not the only person in the pool There are kids swimming too! When they all left we went to the side of the pool to make a closer look of the water and confirmed it is so cloudy, oily Dirty We were so disappointed because the first thing we look forward prior to booking was the pool And it looks like they are not cleaning the filter on a regular basis My husband worked in a hotel so he knew and the pool is their number one priority I hope the next time we visit it’ll be all good

Update: The owner has Not step one foot on the premises If so, they will notice the bathtubs are Not thoroughly cleaned! Clearly, being a guest as of This morning I can assure you there is Only One working elevator (which was dirty as well) Again, This hotel needs a better cleaning staff and better management

This hotel is decliningHorrible Simply Horrible Traveled from Maryland to Philadelphia looking for a nice and clean hotel However, we found this hotel is dirty and only has one working elevator The rooms are outdated The bath tub is extremely dirty There is a ring of dirt around the tub in room 315 Could not take a shower Therefore, we switched rooms The second room was just as horrible The second bath tub is still peeling, rusty and dirty It was cold Turned up the heat, it’s still a major draft coming from the windows We froze throughout the night and checked out early The rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned, renovated and upgraded

Justine Hall

I called a head of time and asked for a room with a pool view and was told I could get one When I arrived I didn’t get one and was asked to pay an extra $40 because they didn’t note that I had called and requested it My friend checked in after me and was given the room with no extra charge

The toilets in both of my rooms were not working properly They did send someone up but they didn’t fix the issue The pool area was nice, the staff were friendly for the most part Room was clean

Eric Saunders

The staff at the hotel is great, they are consistent and professional The bar is fantastic The two bartenders I met were great, the drinks were amazing

The reason why I am giving 1 star is the actual facilities The hotel is run down, out of date and poorly maintained You can see damage to the exterior of the building as you drive in The rooms were dusty the ceilings you can tell were obviously painted over to hide water damage I did not feel comfortable enough to take my shoes off in the room If it wasn’t that I had already pre paid for the hotel, I would have checked out immediately after seeing the room I have stayed here before in previous years but this time was the worst The staff is not at fault of how management has allowed this building to go down I will be in the Philly area again in the next coming weeks and trust I have booked elsewhere

Not worth the price Pool and hot tub were both out of service They would only provide one crib but we have 2 children under 3 years old so this was frustrating

The entire staff and facilities were amazing from the start! I highly recommend staying here We flew overnight and were very eager to check in early We were able to do so with no problem! The cleaning attendants were on top of it! We were never rushed to get out of the room early

Our request for extra towels daily and extra pillows were met with no questions asked It was the first time we have traveled since Covid and they made it the best vacation we have ever had while visiting Philadelphia The cleanliness of the entire hotel was wonderful We would like to thank you Courtyard management and staff for making our stay so amazing!

This could have been a perfect five if it wasn’t for a few things 1 No smart tv

I travel a lot for work and can’t remember the last hotel that I couldn’t log into Netflix or at least see the channel that has the rotating guide of everything on 2 The hit or miss staff One minute they have lively nice accommodating staff at the front the next it is dry dead staff that clearly do not want to be there None of them were rude but just brings the whole mood down 3 No usb equipment in rooms If you need to charge something you better have a block!! I would stay again but I would be prepared

SkillLessGaming

The pool and hot tub were nice, I also like the little “courtyard” in the middle it’s very pretty However my room couldve been updated the bathroom doorknob didn’t work and the door was in poor shape (hole and didn’t close all the way) We also got a pack and play for our son, I recommend bringing your own because the ones they have are badly stained

The staff was friendly and helpful they have a Cafe in the lobby that is overpriced and the food is okay

Gary Murdock

This was a beautiful hotel, but it’s certainly not within walking distance to any amenities And we had some issues as soon as we checked in Once we arrived we were told that one of the rooms out of the two that we had booked for a family vacation, was not available a 1 King 2 Queen 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite was not available, we were very disappointed to say the least, but they did make it right by giving us a total of three rooms for the price of two

When they were going over the hours of the facilities, they said the pool was closed, I thought they were talking about at that moment, she said no, it’s closed permanently It’s been closed for two years, well that was another major disappointment!!! We had three grandkids with us and we were all looking forward to having a nice refreshing swim, after visiting Sesame Place, there should have been a large banner in bold print on their website stating that the pool was out of commission, because we likely would not have stayed here if we would have known that at the time of bookingThen once we came back after spending the day out with the family, my son got into his room then the red light started to flash, after going to the front desk the girl reactivated his key, but that didn’t take care of the issue, so he couldn’t leave the room anymore that evening as he wouldn’t be able to get back into the room, there was no maintenance staff available until the next day, and I find that totally in excusable!!! What happens if your toilet breaks or springs a leak, wait until the next day? There should always be someone available!!!We then went down to the front desk to get some snacks and drinks from the concession area and the girl that was supposed to be working the front desk was on our floor the fourth floor and she said she would be right down, she never did come down in the 15 minutes that we waited, so we helped ourselves, also there was someone waiting to check in and couldn’t, there was no one around to help him out, what a way to run a hotel!!! We did pay for our snacks and drinks the next day when there were more people at the front desk I believe you should have more than one person running a hotel of this size in the evenings, because your customer service is lacking in a big way!!!However, on a positive note, the suites were really nice and spacious, but some do need the sofa bed cushions replaced, the breakfast was great, with a good selectionBut after the issues that we experienced, we likely won’t be back

Marshall

This was a great experience Not too far from Sesame, close enough to stay for the night A quieter area than sesame, which was nice

The breakfast was fantastic and had fresh choices for everyone The room was well prepared, clean, and comfortable Staff at the front desk was more than willing to go out of their way to help We arrived on a Wednesday when they had an evening social that included soup, salad, cheese, crackers, chips, wine, and beer A nice surprise We also enjoyed the pool and the patio with grills was beautiful Thanks for taking care of us, Homewood Suites!

Naomi S.

We chose this hotel because of the proximity to Sesame Place and all the other hotels in the area were booked As many of the hotel reviews indicate, this hotel is dirty We have a small child with us, so we came prepared to sanitize the room, and it really needed it

There was visible dirt on doors as we wiped them down The outside perimeter of the bathtub was visibly dirty and the carpet under the AC units have not been cleaned well in some time The grates on the AC unit in room 404 are broken and we had to make sure the child with us did not stick his hands inside The furniture in the living room needed to be upgraded, especially the sleeper sofa You can feel the springs poking into your back as you sleep Also, there was no bath soap available in the shower The front desk said that their delivery had been delayed, but this is inexcusable The hotel could have, and should have separately purchased soap for bathing

I only stayed for a night and checked in very late The staff was so nice and polite The hotel is very nice and clean

Unfortunately my sheets were dirty on the bed and the toilet was very dirty Besides the room not being turned over correctly it was a very nice stay The rooms are spacious, air conditioning works great They provide body wash and shampoo I the bathroom There’s a TV iron and a mini fridge that fits a good amount of left overs There is also a nice Starbucks in the lobby and a nice mini mart with frozen dinners and snacks since things aren’t open very late in that area

This was a good stay! I was in town for work and stayed here for a week! The hotel and the rooms were clean But the best part was TONY at the front desk!!!! He was so personable, willing to help answer my questions, and gave me a rundown of the area! Some of the best customer service I have ever received! The only reason this stay loses a star is because I prepaid for a King room but was given a Queen because all of the Kings were gone on the first night of my stay but the staff worked to change it for my remaining 6 nights which was great!

I have to say, I was very frustrated to find out that this location didn’t have a pool The frustration came from a badly placed google image of a pool that the hotel used to have, right when you google the hotels name It was confusing and misleading

Therefore, we cancelled our stay, but still got charged due to hotel policyI voiced my concerns to Marriott and within a few short days, they got me in touch with the Front Desk Supervisor Their name was Alex and they were extremely helpful and pleasant to speak with Alex got everything squared away for me and issued a refundI just really appreciated the effort and the help from this hotel We may not have stayed there this time but judging by how helpful the staff was, we’d stay in the future Thank you again!!

The staff was very nice but the rooms were old and shabby The sitting room furniture in the room Iwas in should all be replaced, it was not very clean or comfortable The laundry room was old and not very clean

There was a lot of variety at breakfast but only average in taste and presentation I was charged twice for the room and even though they admitted they had charged me twice I had to wait for the person who billed me to get approval before refunding the money In all fairness the credit appeared on my credit card as pending the same day This location is convenient, close to offices and the train but unless you are a business traveller who needs this location I don’t think the amenities or the room are worth the price

It’s getting old I am a die hard Hilton fan and a comfort inn is nicer than this place, (plus it’s cheaper) Our room and most of the back of the first floor, by the pool door, smelled strongly like weed

They are doing renovations soon, but it can’t come soon enough As usual, you now have to ask to have your room refreshed, but even that was a bit mediocre If I only paid $89 for the night, I’d understand But $145 is a bit much, for this type of service

Hampus Engstroem

This hotel is extremely dated The rooms look like they were designed by a grandma in the early 2000sThe worst part, and it’s honestly the main reason for the low score, was the absolute stench coming from the shower enclosure

It smelled like really old gym socks, or a wet dog I could barely stand to be in there I tried to take a picture of the smell, but then I remembered that that’s not a thing, however, this bathroom could definitely be used to research this technology in the future, that’s how bad it wasThere is no on-site restaurant which is always a bummer The wifi barely worked, I ended up just using the hot spot on my phone instead The breakfast was decent, and the evening social offered a decent amount of variety to pretty much have an actual dinner during itThis hotel is due for a major upgrade overall

Very nice extended stay on this hotel Nothing to complaint, crew was happy and helpful (Except one individual lady on reception, no smile, not very helpful even on smallest need/question) Clean and tidy

Breakfast was good, self service, and different menus over the week Good self service laundry Swimming pool and gym, didn´t try those but my colleagues did I would give five star, overall

Very clean Home away from homeTyler was the bombcom!! Very helpful and courteous Well mannered and informed about the inner city happenings He went above and beyond to assist with an emergency that we faced I really appreciate that All companies need more Tyler’s on staff He deserves praises, raises and all that

This place is incredible Staff is great, especially the breakfast manager or the person who is there every day lol He was extremely kind and thoughtful of my family and I

Most of the rooms are single studio style condo or apartment style Little kitchen, living area, a bed and bathroom Cleanliness was pretty well done The carpet did have a stain near the door like ink or makeup or something and the pull out mattress didn’t have a mattress cover and let’s just say it needed it We hard passed on using it We are always here in fall or winter so never get to experience the pool or outdoors of this place which is very well put together There is a path that winds in and out throughout toward the front that is enjoyable to walk to breakfast through All in all, we will absolutely be back

I had my wedding here 06/25/22 and rate it a 10/10 Jamie and Dana were so responsive when I had questions (and there were A LOT) and made my day exactly how I pictured I loved the property and that it had overnight accommodations

I love how they have up to 3 getting ready spaces too They did updates to the ballroom and patio which looked stunning Food was great too!

Patricia Connelly

Wow! Is what comes to mind when I think of this place My husband and I came for our anniversary We were met with friendly greetings

We had a lovely room to stay in Everything was spotless and clean We enjoyed happy hour and the bartender was very polite We enjoyed the food and drinks Thank you for your great hospitality We hope to come back one day soon!

Emily Levy

Nothing compares to Joseph Ambler Inn! They have everything you could want for a perfect, small to medium rustic wedding There are great options for both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces The whole campus is gorgeous and well kept

The food is SO GOOD!!! Having on-site accommodations was a major plus for both in and out of town guests Walking across the courtyard after partying all night was the perfect commute Their wedding package includes so much: Open bar, all food, champagne toast, day of coordinator, wedding cake, bridal suite, honeymoon suite for the couple(!) I’m sure I’m missing things Jamie was very responsive and really worked with us in terms of budget and logistics She was great I saw a few reviews saying they aren’t very responsive, but that’s not true I will say I was very pro-active in setting up my own times to talk with Jamie, and I think that may be important to do, rather than waiting on her to reach out if you’re an antsy bride like me Meg, our day-of coordinator was a total rock star! There were quite a few moving parts I was concerned about during the day, but the whole thing went FLAWLESSLY My husband and I (and our guests!) can’t stop raving about this venue We can’t wait to go back just to eat at the restaurant

Great experience!! Food available for purchase at the front desk is KEY when you have small children that do nothing but eat all day (and night) long! The pool was great and clean! The rooms were clean! The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING!! The rooms, for the price were HUGE! And with all of this, were friendly staff members to make it all happen Easy 5 stars

Angelique McAlpine

C’mon Hilton – a little preventive maintenance goes a long way – you’re better than this!Staff was excellent Cheap furniture and fixtures are showing deferred maintenance or just aren’t well built enough, or installed correctly for hotel use Very clean room (except for the caulk issue) and nice atmosphere in the common spaces

Decent value for the area I second the comments about the wavy hallway carpeting

Aimie Thomas

We stayed in room 114 on the first floor The room was clean and the kitchen was very convenient The pool was nice also

The breakfast was surprisingly good with them offering hot foods and a variety of things to accommodate different dietary needs My only complaint is the floor we were on had a lot of “pet rooms” and the entire hallway around our room smelled like cat urine It wasn’t pleasant to come out of your room in the morning to that smell This is the problem with allowing pets like cats in a hotel
