Came for a family vacation needing 4 separate rooms including connected rooms Hotel was not able to make it happen They did buy us dinner but that’s not the point

We had to split the family due to child arrangements Very clean and the staff was kind and welcoming Limited menu choices probably due to covid Small elevator that was difficult to get scooter in Found you could see magic kingdom fireworks from hotel Easy to get anywhere using Disney transport, monorail, bus or boat Nice experience once we got settled

Ryan Solcz

The resort has a nice theme and it’s clean for the size and volume of visitors Service isn’t bad but feels a bit artificial You could stay at the Ritz for the same amount of money per night or less and this is what you can get: towel service at the pool, 24 hr room service, a quiet room with no banging at 3 am, no chaotic crowds, guarantee balcony, no renovations in the middle of high season or drilling outside your room at 8 am, a room that feels bright and airy not dingy, no leaky fridge, the ability to walk up and get a seat at a table service restaurant, and you get greeted by name

This is a 50 year old resort in great shape and the walk to Magic Kingdom is so convenient but I found this was tiring, and that I could do a lot better elsewhere for the prices they’re charging without the inconveniences

Brooke Alexandra

I came to visit and if I could afford to stay here I would bring my husband and child It’s absolutely amazing from the scenery to the cleanliness

it’s just top quality I tried the dole whip swirled with vanilla and it’s my new pregnancy craving Unfortunately this is the only place I’ve been able to find it so I’ll be coming back probably today to get more! I would highly recommend staying here if you can afford it It’s absolutely amazing

I’m uncertain how this hotel has a four star review

I suppose my experience could be out of the ordinary, but it’s hard to believe we’re the only ones to have an unpleasant stay I booked this hotel because of its score, price and location The one and only thing it has going for it is it’s location It is very close to Universal Studios Unfortunately, for us, that is the only thing we liked about the hotel We found our room to be pretty run down The toilet ran and the shower leaked all day and night The sink was crack, as was the threshold passing into the bathroom The water temperature fluctuated pretty dramatically while showering The walls are paper thin and we could easily hear the neighbors next to us as well as the kids running around above us We heard doors slamming all day and night This made it difficult to get a decent nights rest, which is all we really wanted from the hotel Room service didn’t actually refresh the room each day They only grabbed the old towels and left a new stack on the counter

Mark Novatka

I have been staying at this Best Western for the last several years when I have the opportunity It may be an older property, but it is very well taken care of The rooms are very clean, and up to date

They even take the time to make characters out of your towels That shows that they care Disney properties used to do this but know they want to offer you a discount not to clean your room At this hotel from the time you check in until the time you leave they care about your stay Great job to the entire staff

Cara hollingsworth

I had reservations at a motel around the corner and the accommodations were terrible Decided not to stay there, drove around the corner to the Best Western and Emmanuel gave me the same price for a room that I found online He even upgraded us to a VIP room with an amazing view

The room was beautiful, clean, fully stocked with everything we needed The staff was amazing and helpful Will definitely be going back and staying here when we are in the are again!

Loved staying here, had a great time The Hotel is gorgeous and is always clean and smells amazing The rooms, pool and water slide were perfect

The place is always clean The food is great no matter which place you order from be it Room Service or any of the restaurant/eateries The water taxi makes life so easy for getting in and out of City walk and the parks, unless it’s raining then just grab the shuttle The only problem we had and reason for 4 stars not 5 were two of the nights we were sleeping we were awoken by an alarm that seemed to go on forever and we don’t know why Lost a couple hours of sleep which is not great for being on a moving Vacation All in all though we loved it!

Resort is amazing right when you arrive Front desk workers were nice and helpful I got locked out of my room at night and Morgan and security were quick to help

Amenities are insane and you would honestly not be bored if you spent one of your vacation days just at the hotel Great pool while people deliver you food and drinks and great activities such as ping pong and the arcade Restaurants taste great and New Dutch Trading Co is an excellent addition of a grab and go that opens early if you’re rushing to the parks Ferry comes every 10-15 minutes which is very convenient Rooms are a little tight but have amazing views Would stay here again

laura crossley

From the time we checked in and until we left the experience was great The check in was extremely quick and were given our room without a wait Check out we did on our TV and was completely hassle free and no line to deal with

We enjoyed the view from our room and enjoyed the pool The seating at the pool area was abundant and I felt we found a location each time Loved the gift shop and shopped several times there When some coffee and lotion was not left in our automatically we called front desk and they certainly took care of it quickly We will be back

We had an overall great experience here Each staff member we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpfulWe did receive a room upgrade because of status/points and had a fun view of Islands of Adventure from the 21st floor in room 2115

Our door lock gave us a little trouble at first, but staff wasted no time in sending an engineer to help The service here was sincerely wonderful Thank you all!I think my favorite part of the room was the comfy bed After returning from a very full day of walking 20,000 steps in the parks I woke up rested and refreshedMy only complaints are minor and didn’t affect our experience that much overall 1: the halls and rooms are a little dated and would benefit from a little sprucing up For instance our loose/broken door jam, uneven flooring under carpet, fresh paint, etc This is all minor to me, and I believe was reflected in the price 2: We weren’t told about the shuttle to the parks when we checked in, or that we needed to register ahead of time to ride it I happened to see the sign at the desk, noted the time and showed up in the morning Thankfully the kind woman running that station at the desk noticed me in the morning and helped us get on the shuttle quicklyWe’d stay again and recommend it to others for the value and location!

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few days you won’t be let downI stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend and had an amazing time The room was comfy, clean, and spacious We had a minor inconvenience but it was fixed very fast by Dante He was extremely helpful, informative, and very kind We had a great stay and plan on coming back soon!

Jessica Brown

The location was fantastic Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us They were great

The rooms are what you would expect for the price point It was fine for the night My only complaint – The beds were very bouncy and not super supportive Some paint peeling in the bathroom But overall the room was clean and the place was quiet (we had a room on the 18th floor) so we did not hear a lot of noise

Beautiful, clean and modern hotel within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom The monorail runs through the hotel which is super convenient given how hot the weather can be – it’s so nice to wait for it in the A/CWe stayed in a Garden View room in the garden wing, and loved how quiet and low key it was, as compared to staying in the main tower

It literally took us 2-3 minutes to walk over to the pool each day, we loved it!Front desk staff is kind and always looking to help And there’s a nice coffee/smoothie shop in the hotel lobbyCan’t wait to stay again!

Stephanie Sigmon

Beautiful rooms with The Incredibles theme Bathroom in the room was amazing with a walk in shower, wonderful lighting and a separate closed off toiletWe did have an issue the very first night very late, but Tad at the front desk was fantastic with helping to resolve the issue

Todd and Jim with Concierge more than made up for our issue and really made some magical moments for us!The monorail was a fabulous amenity and the walk to Magic Kingdom was less than 5 minutes Dining options at the resort were wonderful and convenient with everything being in the same buildingHave stayed here before and will definitely stay here again!

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t be let downI attended the Arnold Palmer invitational (2022) and it definitely exceeded expectations I had a great experience getting around, watching some great golf and enjoying an amazing weather day The course was in pristine conditions too

Such an iconic place to stay while on a trip! The lodge preserves the history and legacy of its past, which is so refreshing given its significance All of the memorabilia throughout the lodge is awesomeThe staff were great— standouts include the front desk staff, Troy in the men’s locker room bar, the wait staff at the restaurant and the room cleaning staff

While the rooms might be dated, I believe that is part of the charm The building preserves historic FloridaThe golf course is in great shape! I believe it has the right amount of strategy required yet playability to it that makes the course fun Obviously, there is water prominently displayed on various holesThe practice areas are are great- there is a driving range, putting green and chipping green

This is my second stay While I like how quiet the hotel is, I am disappointed with the room and staff Our room was dusty, especially around the lights and the sheets had a few stains on them

We asked that they be changed the next day but they were not One day we didn’t receive room cleaning and no towels despite housekeeping waking us up twice Also had a light out in our bathroom Rooms definitely need a refresh Also there’s no mini fridge or microwave and being that there is no vending for snacks, just soda This makes it inconvenient if you just want a quick snack When I asked for fresh towels the staff were rude and also when we checked in and out There was no guide in our room for restaurant hours and hotel info, and nobody there informed us or even asked how our stay was I couldn’t believe how rude they were Will go elsewhere next time

I cannot sing the praises of this place enough! For our ten-year anniversary, my husband and I booked a resort vacation outside of Orlando To our dismay, we discovered on arrival that the resort had dropped the ball entirely, and we were suddenly left in Florida with no plans and nowhere to stay One quick Google search later, we pulled into Aloft with few prospects and less patience

We were greeted by a clean, welcoming, sharply designed common space, and an absolute angel named NebraskaNebraska was warm, kind, and very knowledgeable We pulled up to her desk, desperate and travel-weary, and she reassured us immediately that yes, there were rooms available and yes, she could assist us in getting checked in She so swiftly and completely solved our problem that for a minute I thought I was dreamingFrom that moment forward, our entire trip was saved The whole facility has a cool, colorful, modern design really appealing to young(-ish) adults like myself, and the hotel is about a 15-minute drive – or less – from all the favorite tourist spots Close enough for convenience, far enough for peace and quiet And the quality of the space is far higher than the price tag would suggest! Our vacation went from utter disaster to total delight And it was all thanks to Nebraska

Jennifer Rivero

Aloft Orlando is located close to everything The hotel lobby is modern and you’ll find a bar, a pool table and a snack room Check in was hassle free and the staff are super friendly

Had the pleasure of the pool view My room was super clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep in The shower didn’t have so much pressure, but no complaints Wish I could had stayed longer Will definitely book again!

Vee Cee

First let me say the location is great The appearance is nice When we checked in I was told incidentals was $75 but I charged a $93

86 hold I question the additional hold amount and was told it was because I booked through Expedia The room had a nice lofty style design, but it’s not ideal if you’re sharing a room with multiple people The shower area is an open exposed area It’s even exposed to the hallway if the door is open Limited privacy We had coffee pot in the room with no coffee cups The coffee packs wasn’t designed for the coffee maker It wasn’t a drop in and push the start button My allergies were acting up so I needed Kleenex There was none in the holder in the room so I asked the front desk can we get some We were told there are no Kleenex in the building That’s crazy So I resorted back to an old school method of using toilet paper for my runny nose When it was time to shower we discovered that there was no soap The dispenser was empty We also discovered that there was inadequate amount of towels and rags So once again we had to ask the front desk for rags Not what we expected from a Marriott stay

Excellent Disney resort I like that the hotel had its own individual sections rather than one single building The pool was really good actually

The beach although artificial was still interesting to look at This resort is also just a boat ride from Magic Kingdom also so it’s very convenient as well This is a nice resort and I wouldn’t mind staying here again at some point

Elizabeth Tate

For the most premium resort at Disney, this place lives up to expectations without being uncomfortable I’ve been to Ritz Carlton’s in the past, and that’s what this feels like without everybody dressed like they are utterly perfect all the time Everybody at this place is normal 🙌🏻The employees are fun to talk to, the food is great, and the front desk goes above and beyond to figure out reservation and ticket problems

Everybody is super sweet, and we met multiple people that said they have been working there for the past 20 years which spoke to a positive workplace experiencePerfect for kids, perfect for adults, what more could you ask for?!

Bryan Jasin

We enjoyed our stay here at the Grand Floridian First and foremost it feels a tad dated and old You get the sense it needs a facelift but still classic

Many food options with varying price points It’s great to be right on the monorail as well My girls loved all the pools Cast was very helpful and attentive We ate at 2 of the on property restaurants and service was slow

Wonderful experience there We were greeted by Oliver who was extremely helpful and accommodating He made an effort to improve the quality of our stay by changing us from a 2 beds-room to king bed-room and gave us floor options for the location of the room

The breakfast was also very well catered with coffee, juice, eggs, sausage, waffles, danishes etcI’ll definitely be going back next timeLocation wise, it’s super close to Universal studio (within 10 min) and decently close to Disney World The hotel also offers a shuttle to Universal and one for Magic Kingdom

Jennifer Mohr

running, called the front desk, and the handyman arrived within 10 minutes! (Turns out it is normal for the toilet to take a long time to refill the tank) The rooms aren’t fancy but bed was comfy for sleeping Happy to have scrambled eggs, sausage links, Mickey waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, yummy pastries, and toast for breakfast options Good location

Pool was never busy Daily room cleaning offered Only downfall was that I wish the shuttle service had more options for times/locations Luckily we had a rental car so we battled the traffic ourselves Overall, I would recommend and would stay here again

Kait Frantz

We were a little nervous about this location based on some other reviews I was staying here on a work trip and my husband and daughter played at the hotel during the day The staff was always pleasant and helpful

The breakfast area worked very well every morning and my daughter loved making frequent trips for more cantaloupe We had a room right next to the outdoor breakfast area and it worked perfectly every night for us to hang out while our daughter slept in the room It was very quiet and the housekeepers worked around my daughter’s nap schedule This place was great! It was also a great location near a Walgreens and liquor store (for when American Airlines lost our luggage) It was walking distance to multiple restaurants and Icon Park

The entire experience was great We ate at Jake’s American bar the first night and the food was fantastic The staff were all very nice and very helpful throughout the resort

We especially enjoyed receiving early access into the parks as well as the express unlimited pass The room was beautiful and well kept The bathroom was large and made it easy for my family of 5 to get ready The only issue I had was with the sleeping arrangements in the room When I booked it, it said it could accommodate 5 people It did not We have 3 kids, ages 5,10 and 15, and there were only 2 queen beds I had expected a couch or another area to put one of my children to sleep but there wasn’t an extra space We ended up making it work but will have to look at other accommodations when we go back to Florida

Shanna Rogers

Very clean! Excellent customer service! The breakfast was delicious! We had a rough day at universal and came back to our hotel and the hotel to care of us! They helped us solve our issues at the park! We had a blast the rest of the time we stayed! The pool and slide was great and clean! I do recommend this place and the taxi boat ride made it very quick to access the parks!

Amy Grasso

This hotel knows what it is doing The benefits of a second day admission to the Universal parks, early admission, and fast-pass, were the main reasons for our stay However, the hotel was beautiful, clean, and service was top-notch

I loved the ability to text for anything we needed, and it appeared at our hotel room right away! The concierge, bag check, and valet, were all SUPER friendly and helpful The water taxi was a blessing, as well I have no complaints!

We had a great experience as usual We stayed at a Universal – View room in a high floor and it’s a great view, specially at night You can even see the fireworks from your room! It’s so worth it to book a room like this

Their beds and pillow are super comfy The room was very clean, and the staff is super nice and attentive, they are on top of your needs and help you right away Housekeeping service is available but you have to reserve a day prior to get your room cleaned, so keep that in mind when you stay to plan accordinglyThe Lobby area is very nice and very convenient with all the stores they have where you can basically find anything you wantThe closeness to Universal is incredibly convenient and amazing! You should also be aware that parking for your car costs around 26$ per night and it’s a little more expensive if you use valet parkingI really really enjoyed my stay and I have nothing negative to say from my experience this opportunity I stayed there

I was impressed for it being only a 3 star, the service and my experience was definitely more than 3 stars The sunshine Cafe for breakfast has delicious food at the buffet No its not complimentary and that’s because the quality is much better and worth the cost, Vinh and Jim were very considerate and friendly waiters, they even let us take fruit and coffee to go

The check for the Cafe and American Grill & bar can be charged to your room which is super convenient The bar even let me take the wine glass upstairs to my room They have a shuttle to Universal parks, we also walked to the park too since it wasn’t too far (15min), walking avoided the large crowds with the round security section too The pool is open later than other hotels I’ve been too and really big along with their jacuzzi with a tiny water park for the kids We opted to have room service daily, it was nice to be given that option We also got a cookie from the front desk when checking in The food at the American Grill is great quality, I had the steak and veggies They have an ice cream shop inside as well Great experience, great service, I highly recommend and can’t wait til my next stay

Aqua Hold

Friendly staff Cool temp and clean room

Great amenities Beautiful, relaxing scenery and grounds For tasty dining I’d strongly suggest their on-site restaurant “American Grill”I did not partake in using the pool during the day Where as, from the view of the area from my roomthere was not much shaded area or umbrellas for my useHowever for the most part, my stay with Double Tree was very comfortable and pleasant

So the main reason this location gets a 3 star overall is because of the worn and tired appearance of the hallways and the rooms The furniture is very outdated and worn as is the carpet, especially in the hallways There are trip hazards with the carpet as well

The room smelled a little musty at first, but I guess I got used to that pretty quickly This location just needs some updatesUpsides: the staff, the restaurant waitstaff and the bartend are all very friendly (except for one rude guy at the desk on overnight shift) The beds and pillows were very comfortable The bathroom had been fairly updated and the shower had great water pressureI would stay here again as the price was reasonableIf you are looking for fancy or very nice rooms, this isn’t the place If you are looking for somewhere comfortable and friendly to lay your headthis is perfect for you It isn’t horrible It isn’t fantastic But is is a great location to SeaWorld if that is your destination (it wasn’t mine as I was there for business)

This hotel is close to all the attractions, reasonably priced and food was very good The front desk staff at this hotel are exceptional It was my granddaughters birthday and they had balloons and a small stuffed animal brought up to the room

Hotel lobby is very nice and the restaurant and lounge better than most Hilton Garden Inns One of the nicest Hilton Garden Inns I’ve ever stayed at

Tima Robinson

Check In staff were very nice and the hotel price was decent Hotel looked much nicer than previous stay at the same Hilton in Tallahassee that we vowed to not stay at againThe rooms were great as well

When we go into the room though the phone did not work and the clock did not work So I went to use the phone by the elevator and could not get anyone When I went down stairs I was told that all the phones were down I just said okay Maintenance was drilling away on the fifth floor and I was told that would last till about 5pmThen later on that evening there was a family reunion going on and only one elevator working so I decided that it was not that big of a deal I would just take the stairs Well to my disappointment Stephanie at the desk said that the only access to stairs from the first floor was outside and we had to use our key card So I went outside to try only to find that was a lie There should be access by means of stairs from the first floor to our rooms When I stopped by to tell Stephanie she just apologized which did not mean anything Once you try to over look one or two things and then you get to four or five you tend to loose a little understanding The Hilton promise by the elevator stated and I quote”Our goal is to make your stay better and brighter If something is not just the way you like it simply let any hotel team member know and we will make it right GUARANTEED ” This needs to come down until this name brand and these franchises can figure out how to honor those words because nothing was done or offered

Loved this place It was clean had perfect space and the bed was comfortable Had a great view of the Icon aka Orlando eye

The lobby was very welcoming and the check in process was very quick and easy The staff was great Close to a lot of shops Would definitely stay here again Oh and it’s great for a quick get away, vacation or family

Paris Burbidge

Front desk staff was great, so friendly! I read through the reviews prior to booking so I was aware of it being dated, etc but the big disappointment was that our room was dirty There was leftover candy from the previous guest on the floor and a huge pepperoni stuck in some cheese under the desk- we never had pizza during our stay The rooms were comfortable enough and simple

The restaurant in the hotel is worth skipping altogether Pricey for fine food The morning we left I ordered my kids breakfast at about 8AM I called 3 different times to check on it, finally they said they were on their way up At 10AM, we finally just checked out so we could go get something to eat Quite a disappointing note to end on

Absolutely five stars! Customer service tops the list as it was absolutely exceptional The entire Hotel was immaculately clean and everyone had Smiles on their faces when they greeted guests Rooms were spacious and had wonderful amenities, such as an espresso machine, plum wine machine, Bose speakers and European style showers

Took our kids and had connecting rooms, and it couldn’t have been a better setup Close to everything and yet, if you wanted, you really don’t even have to leave the hotel grounds as there is so much to do for kids of all ages A+

What an amazing place to spend a vacation Everything here is of exceptional quality, the staff are truly friendly, professional and attentiveThe rooms are spacious and clean

Our room had a view of Disney and Epcot, so we got to see the fireworks from our balcony, every nightThe pools had plenty of chairs, towels and a wait staff that brings drinks to your chair The pools are great for families and they even had a pool for over 21 as wellAs we spent most of our vacation visiting the parks, we didn’t have alot of time exploring everything the resort had to offer Next time we intend to spend more time at the resort, because there is so much to do

Christian Roche

Amazing beautiful resort! I visited this resort while on vacation in Orlando and although I had been following the resort since it opened I was completely blown away when I first saw it in person The attention to detail is on another level the lobby had beautiful floors with hand layed mosaic tile, there where plenty of options when it came to food and when I ate at the pool bar the food was great and I was treated to amazing service All in I would highly recommend this resort and i I hope that some day I can stay there and experience it even more

A great place to stay when visiting Disney!! The room was spacious with many quality amenities The shower included a double head with a rainfall top The beds were very comfortable and gave us a great nights sleep after long days of walking the parks and standing in lines

There are two pool areas both with hot tubs, plus a splash pad for the kids The Whispering Canyon Restaurant was a riot, the servers are sassy and fun and make it a show in itself, and they even had a plant based all you care to eat option, but make sure you make reservations as they fill up quickly! The nature view room really made waking up easy with beautiful sunrise views There’s even a boat that takes you to Magic Kingdom, making it easy to go there or jump onto the monorail for other parks The decor is perfect and makes you really feel like you’re in a lodge in the Rocky Mountain area

Douglas Weaver

This was the best room we have ever stayed on property Our family has stayed at most resorts at Disney World This was by far the best room and our greatest experience at any resort

The Whispering Canyon Restaurant is great, the Storybook character restaurant was one of the best Disney offers The hotel staff was superb If I had to find something to not say was 100%, was the quick service at Roaring Fork while having nothing wrong, was not on par with the rest of the experience Highly recommend this hotel

Sis San

If you ever get the opportunity to stay here, do it! Very clean Very comfortable Great pool, and several options where to eat right on the premises PLUS you can just hop a bus or a boat to the Disney theme parks for free! I highly recommend The Wilderness Lodge to anyone that loves nature and is going to vacation at Walt Disney World

The rustic looking decor is outstanding This place gets a 10 from me
