Third time visiting this hotel and I was very happy again The rooms and hotel are spotless Rooms are also very comfortable and have recently been renovated

The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay more enjoyable This trip Jessica and Mabel at the front desk got us checked in early and recommended some places we should check out They were very friendly and outgoing We will definitely be returning

The hotel is in nice location! The room was very spacious! There were plenty of towels which I like! The bathroom, though old, was very clean Free breakfast was also included They didn’t have much selection but I thought you can at least get something to eat before heading out

However, the hotel smelled musty and old I definitely noticed it as soon as we walked in The room smelled the same We booked a room with 2 queen beds since I was with a friend but they gave us room with a king bed instead We were told that they didn’t have the room/bed we booked anymore! Needless to say I didn’t get a good night rest

Addell Anderson

I booked the hotel for our staff retreat and was highly impressed with the facility and services for such a reasonable price Our staff arrived from various states, so it was important the sleeping rooms were comfortable and the meeting facility adequate to conduct our business Truly, the Holiday Inn surpassed our expectations

They even allowed food to be brought in from outside the hotel Special thanks to the staff for taking care of all of our needs before, during, and after our stay In addition, the facility is only a short drive to downtown (some of my colleagues walked), as well as shopping I would not hesitate to book this hotel, again

Overall it was a good stay Nice perks like digital keys, complimentary lattes/hot chocolate, etc, nice pool & hot tub For the price, the rooms could really be more modern & upscale – I was a little surprised by that not to mention a couple things like the drain not being properly sealed in our shower (big hole!), some mold in the shower, the fridge being a little dirty, no handsoap of any kind, etc

these are not things I would expect with a $180 price tag I will say all staff we encountered were extremely delightful and the spot this hotel is located is fabulous if you want to just park your car and walk to restaurants/shops I am not sure I would stay at this particular Hilton again based on the above issues but overall I think it’s fine

Seth Ritchie (appalachian_foodie)

Excellent stay – one of my favs in Asheville Biltmore Park is enough out of the way, yet offers plenty of shopping and dining on-siteThe beds are probably the last to be updated and are pretty firm, but the rooms are spacious, well laid out, and clean

The on-site restaurant is amazing, with a full service bar and several optionsIf you’re looking to avoid downtown traffic, consider this stay Hilton standards at their best!

William Bartles

Stayed here for one night and ate at the restaurant downstairs called Fork LoreI have already reviewed the restaurant separately but it was goodThe room was comfortable and for the most part clean

Bathroom was spotless, bed was clean and well maintained The one issue that we had was that there was a piece of half eaten candy laying on the night stand and we had to call for someone to clean it up as we were not going to touch it, thus, the three stars The room service was prompt to handle the situation and were very friendlyThe parking was a little strange as the garage is separate from the hotel and is connected via a series of walkways and elevatorsThe front desk was very helpful and friendlyIf you find this review helpful, please click on the thumbs up button at the bottom!

9 of us stayed at the Cedar Crest Inn for 4 days There were many important issues that should have been addressed before anyone stays in the cottage house No AC in my room (the one who found this place to stay) light fixtures not working, upstairs toilet works poorly

I had to sleep with an industrial fan in my room These things need to be taken care of before anyone else stays thereThe breakfasts were great and the people were kind

Vanessa Younker

This was our first time staying in a B&B and Cedar Crest Inn did not disappoint! This place is absolutely gorgeous! With the beautiful woodworking throughout the mansion, stunning fireplaces, friendly, energetic staff, and wonderful breakfast, we were very pleased with our stay!We definitely will return again!

We had a short one night stay here, it was amazing! Super clean, great amenities, super nice staff Feels more like a studio apartment than a hotel room Other people talked about noise, however our room faced the major road there and it was super quiet in the bedroom

Especially at night Would stay again, and am absolutely going to recommend to friends

Benjy Wang

Everything we wanted in a hotel Convenience, a nice breakfast, and an attentive staffI actually left my work laptop here and they were actually nice enough to use a local courier to ship it the next day to me

The rooms are phenomenal and the suite we got included two big beds (one for our son), a sitting area, dining table, full size fridge, sink, filtered water, dishwater, and stocked full of dishesIt was like being at home with a cleaning service Stay here if you like the feeling and comfort of home with some nice extras while you’re on vacation

I stayed here for six weeks while my house was being worked on and I have absolutely no complaints The people that work here are really good, wholesome people who really do care about their customers I was really, really impressed with everything from how clean it was and how well-maintained, to how close it was to downtown and everything I needed

Sinéad McClinton

The lobby, golf course, trails are beautiful The restaurant buffet is great and worth the money for sure Beautiful fire indoor and outdoor pit

And a good size balcony But the rooms are a little small and almost like an after though compared to the more upscale curbside appeal and lobby/restaurant lookThe bathroom is small, would be better with a walk in shower and remove the small dated tub And a simple fix to open the bathroom door out vs In would make a huge difference Not a lot of thought out into the room, but i guess you only sleep there so it can be tolerable

Buster Young

We recently stayed here and overall had a great time We had a bit of an issue at check in with our room We were given a room on the bottom floor of a separate building that appeared to be a spare room that perhaps was used for storage

Let’s just say it was not the caliber of room you would expect I brought it to the management’s attention and they made it right and got us in a room that was very much suitable and what we expected The hotel was sold out of rooms but we had made a reservation My purpose of bringing this up is that the property made it right and we ended up with a good room and overall enjoyed our stay The breakfast was extremely good Very nice staff We would definitely stay with them again

Brook Anderson

Stayed in May 2022 My room was clean and had a small balcony On-site bar and restaurant nice but expensive

Good location if you don’t want to stay downtown Decent conference room facilities The hotel was quiet and I slept well each night They have a shuttle to take you downtown and back for $8 per person Small maintenance issues such as the phone in my room didn’t work well and my bathroom light kept flickering but overall an enjoyable stay

The Bent Creek Lodge was such a wonderful experience We stayed the weekend there for a wedding and everything about this place was amazing Our room was spacious and clean with a huge jacuzzi tub and a back door to the porch area

The gardens and surrounding areas are gorgeous and the hospitality was immaculate Delicious breakfasts and hot coffee served every morning with complimentary homemade cookies throughout the day were fantastic Randy and Linda and the other ladies who worked there made our stay such a joyful experience I normally don’t write such long winded reviews but this place is top notch and I will definitely be back 10/10 absolutely recommended

Rebecca Tirs

What an incredible stay we had The bedroom/bathroom had everything we needed The family room had rocking chairs, games, a pool table, snacks, fridge, microwave, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, filtered water, plates, & utensils

It was so well thought out! We sat outside on the back deck every morning watching the hummingbirds, eating breakfast (which was delicious, healthy, & thoughtful considering I’m a vegetarian) and every evening sitting outside our room overlooking the beautiful garden listening to the birds chirp We also had interesting conversations with other guests What set this B & B apart from others were the owner & staff Randy, the owner, was a wealth of information, professional, on top of anything we needed, and very nice The staff, Linda, Abby, & Emily, were all very sweet, funny, and kept things running like a well oiled machine They felt like family- but the kind you love seeing 😉 My mom hadn’t had a vacation in over 25 years bc of caring for her husband who was a quadriplegic When he passed it was time to give mom a breath of fresh air, a good time, and a relaxing place to stay- that was Bent Creek Lodge Thanks for being such a wonderful “home” base while we were on vacation Loved the lodge & loved the people <3

Allyson Prace

My husband and I recently stayed at the Bent Creek Lodge Hands down, this was a wonderful choice! The owner, Randy, and his A+ staff are hard to beat Randy was a great host – absolutely at the ready to make our stay perfect

Linda checked us in and was the main “concierge” — just a delightful, friendly, funny personality and nature expert that made us feel right at home Tracy is a GREAT chef who prepared incredible breakfasts that would power you to hike the Blue Ridge Mountains all day! If you want to avoid the busy city area and desire a very peaceful setting in the woods, you need not look any farther We will be returning!

Overall I enjoyed my stay here back in Feb 2022 The bed was too firm for me but it wasn’t as hard as a rock either The room and bathroom had a nice modern look to it and was clean but you do hear a lot of noise if you are close to the elevators

The hot tub was massive to point you could swim in it like a pool The breakfast was ok, I really liked the omelets but the turkey sausage did not taste good (I’ve had way better) I liked that the workers kept replenishing the food The cinnamon rolls were not good either (even when fresh), I would have preferred waffles or pancakes I like that coffee is kept out to use anytime and you can get water in the gym area for your water bottles The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping which is convenient and the parking area seemed safe

Grayson Newland

Excellent stay Nice staff, clean rooms, updated finishes – carpet – appliances etc, directly across the street from a great mall, located close the interstate for easy travel in Asheville, amazing shower head pressure

Overall great stay!FYI – If you are driving a lower vehicle, look at the pics of the exit, that may give you a little trouble It’s common for the area due to the terrain, but drive higher ground clearance vehicles if you have them

This is a nice hotel and the location is perfect However as other have reviewed there is absolutely no place to put your clothes away out of site I was there with my sons four 4 nights and with no place to put our clothes away you are forced to either live out of a suit case or have your clothes out on a long shelf/bench that goes the length of the room

I get the minimalistic approach but this is just ridiculous Also many commented on the toilet which huge and square I thought those were strange comments but you will see what is meant when there; just very strange Sometimes designers try to hard to be different and forget about application Lastly, it may be an Asheville thing but there is no pool which was disappointing Overall a decent hotel with very friendly staff

Andrew Plymale

Great location to everything Room and hotel was super clean, housekeeping should be very proud we were impressed and have stayed at some 5 star places so great work The terrace on 9 has great views, can relax and have a nice strong drink

If I could change one thing it’s the toilets Not sure who tried the square seats and felt that was good

I’m afraid to leave such a shining review of this place because my selfish fear is that it will be impossible to make a reservation because of its popularity, but I’m going to do it anyway This hotel is absolutely fantastic on every front The management and staff are top notch, kind and professional

The rooms are clean, spacious, bright and modern with excellent AC, and the bedding is fresh and comfortable The facilities (pool, decks, shared seating spaces, and lobby) are impeccably clean and fun to hang out in The parking is safe, convenient and fairly priced But the best part is the locationyou can walk anywhere Restaurants, breweries, shopping, baseball stadium, parks, grocery store, food hall are all within an absolutely manageable walking distance You will look forward to coming back here after a day walking around, tubing, drinking, eating or whatever it is you came to Asheville to do This hotel checks all the boxes, and Marriott should be proud of whomever is in charge here It’s great I’m a repeat summer guest and will continue to book here when I’m in Asheville

My husband and I came to Asheville for a concert We have been to Asheville many times but this is the first staying at this hotel

Everything was wonderful, from the friendly faces that greeted us to the comfy rooms What really heightened our experience was an employee there named Martin He was absolutely amazing, a real gem After the concert we made our way to the hotels roof top lounge Martin came to check on us while we were up there He thanked us for coming, made sure we had waters, and asked if there was anything we needed to make our stay better It was much appreciated!!!

We had a phenomenal time at 1899 Wright Inn & Carriage House The property was exquisite and beautifully maintained We stayed in the Green Room, and the accommodations were lovely

The bed was super comfortable and the room was incredibly clean Our hosts were pleasant and friendly, and the food they made was delicious I would recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in a beautiful Victorian home The owners went above and beyond to make sure we were well cared for in the middle of a snow storm!

Tyler Prescott

We had an absolutely incredible time here We stayed one night last minute while seeing a concert and we’ll definitely be back Chris and Sheri are awesome and so friendly, breakfast was TO DIE FOR, and the room we stayed in was so cute

Of particular note, the sheets were easily the most comfortable sheets I’ve ever slept in Skip the hotel or AIRBNB and stay here next time you’re in town

Irma Brcanovic

The Wright Inn & Carriage House was the first Bed & Breakfast we’ve stayed at and we truthfully weren’t quite sure what to expectBut WOW – we were quickly blown awayThe house is so charming

Kelly let us explore all of the rooms before the remainder of the guests arrived, and we were AMAZED at all the little details and thought put into each space Every single room was so charming in its own way with the most perfectly curated vintage pieces Exploring it felt like travelling back in timeWe were coming from Ontario to visit family for Thanksgiving – and the owners, Chris & Sheri, booked the three bedrooms on the third floor so that we could all be together, and share a common space They even let us use the dining room for our Thanksgiving dinner which believe it or not, wasn’t the end of their kindness and hospitality that weekWe ordered dinner from a local restaurant and when we got home, we realized that they had forgotten to pack our dessert Kelly overheard us talking about the missing dessert, and contacted Chris and Sheri a few minutes later, they arrived with a plate of dessert (from their own family Thanksgiving dinner) to share with us We couldn’t believe itIn regards to the accommodations – The rooms were spotless when we arrived, the beds were SO incredibly comfortable, each room came with a white noise machine for comfortable sleeping, and sweet chocolates to welcome the guests They have a never-ending supply of cookies in the main living room for guests (We know they are never-ending because our family stole at least 57 of them over a 2-day stayhaha), and the breakfasts were so unique and deliciousThank you Kelly, Sheri, Chris and team – We will definitely be back in the future

We booked a penthouse suite to have plenty of room to move around and invite people to our room, and the views did not disappoint! Check in was super easy Jessica and Mark went out of their way to make sure our stay was up to satisfaction The hotel has a small bar with really good roasted coffee, a good selection of liquor options, and several TVs so we could catch some sports

Our bartender Erica was phenomenal- so friendly and fun and great at what she does!!! Valet is easy except peak time around check out seems to be a bit of a wait, which is to be expectedThe only downsides were the “freshness” of the hotel rooms- our linens and such were clean, but the furniture could use some updating as well as a paint job and some more detail to cleaning the nooks and crannies of the room itself There is no microwave in the room, but I can see that as a liability We did hear that they are scheduled for a renovation which will be exciting to see, because otherwise we loved our stay! Location is great and just a short walk from everything downtown Traffic noise off the highway is pretty persistent but it didn’t bother us much We will definitely check this place out again next time we are in town if not just to pop in and say hi to our resident bartender!

The view was amazing from our top floor room and the service was great We had some issues with the cleanliness, I feel like they only clean what’s necessary The walls had markings, the light switch was dirty (I cleaned it), the sheets had hair on it (could’ve been housekeeping)

The worst, the actual pillows were stained (I check under the pillowcases) I’m very picky about cleanliness so I wouldn’t stay here again Molly, the receptionist, was very accommodating and sweet, she did everything to correct the situation The valet guys were nice too If you’re not picky, the hotel is cool

We enjoyed our stay very much Very clean Linens were fresh

Shower in bathroom was amazing Large and tiled Newly remodeled Great views of downtown The staff were amazing The breakfast was AMAZING!!! The fruit was fresh Eggs cooked perfectly Oatmeal was good also The only negative is no on-site parking However valet parking for an additional $30 per night is available We would definitely stay here again

We have really enjoyed staying here this week! We traveled from Florida for a getaway in the mountains and chose this hotel because we have had great success with IHG, particularly Holiday Inn This hotel certainly did not disappoint From the moment we walked in, Jonathan made us feel right at home

The preferences I had requested were already in the system and the room was above and beyond our expectations We chose a Suite, 2 king bedrooms and two bathrooms It had a full kitchen and a nice living room space with a pretty view Just a heads up, the kitchen does not have utensils or dishes so be prepared to bring your own The hotel has an on-site restaurant that also serves breakfast (not included) and a very nice indoor heated pool with hot tub to relax in no matter what the weather outside The hotel is centrally located to anything and everything you would want to enjoy in Asheville and the surrounding towns and gorgeous mountains Although it’s right on the main road you would never know it, it was quiet and very comfortable Andrea at the front desk was also extremely helpful All around this was a delightful stay and we will definitely be back!

This hotel was clean and located in a great area The staff is super friendly and attentive On a day that everything else was closed due to a winter storm, their restaurant and bar was open

My only disappointment was that unlike their competitors, breakfast was not included with the stay and there was a little bit of mold on the shower light (which I did not notice until the last night of my stay, otherwise I would have said something) However, the room was otherwise in perfectly clean condition and I had zero complaints

Clean location, central to places we wanted to visit in Asheville Staff was friendly and accommodating We got the 2 bedroom suite, which was quite spacious for our family of 5

Didn’t eat at the restaurant, but no complaints with the bar Even had covered parking for free All in all, a great hotel experience and I would definitely stay here again!

Where do we even begin? My husband and I just had the most amazing elopement The entire process was smooth and well planned out Paige was amazing and such a pleasure to work with

She made sure to listen to all of our requests and keep us updated The staff was great, friendly, and so helpful Our wedding day was perfect We could not have asked for anything more Our wedding guests also enjoyed their stay The Inn is so pleasant and has such a special charm We will have to make sure to come back for our anniversary The only thing we would have changed was communication Some guests had issues getting in touch with staff and having their questions answered over the phone Besides that, the food, price, location, and staff could not be beat Thanks!- The New Mr and Mrs Perry

We had a wonderful 4 nights at the Albemarle Inn It has been a long time since i have looked forward to breakfast – usually a bleary-eyed part of the day to race though – but the wonderful morning offerings pleased the palate and eye The bed in our quiet room allowed for a perfect night’s sleep

Should we ever return to wonderful Asheville, we will stay here again

Beautiful historical Inn!It was our first time visiting Asheville and the experience wouldn’t be the same without our stay at Albemarle InnBig bonus was that the hotel was pet friendly and we were able to bring our dog with us Just be sure to call in advance, since there are only three designated pet friendly rooms

But the staff made sure to reserve one of those rooms for us, which btw was absolutely charmingGreat 2 course breakfast that you wouldn’t get at the regular hotelOverall amazing experience and we’ll definitely come back and send our friends your way as well :)Thank you Albemarle Inn for making this trip special

First night was great! We are in town visiting family and walked in to find a comfy bed, clean room and awesome front desk attendant We booked a second night through the same travel booking company we had used the night before, and because the owner (I assume) had not yet received (or refused to check for) the confirmation code from them by noon, he rudely told us to leave immediately At the very least he could have asked us to wait in the lobby while he processed our new reservation

Fortunately, I was able to call the booking company and transfer our reservation to a better hotel right across the street for less money with absolutely no hassle from them I was prepared to leave a 5 star review before receiving such hostile treatment The rest of the staff was fantastic- whether the person I spoke to was the owner or the manager, I’m sorry they have to work for him We left an extra tip for housekeeping on the way out

I do not have a google account so I used my sons I wanted to thank Evelyn and the Clarion Inn at the Biltmore Village for excellent customer service First the room was great and very clean, the service was great and I would like to personnel thank Evelyn for her help

I left a pair of boots in the room and Evelyn took the time to send them back to me to Augusta Georgia This was first hand customer service at it’s best Thank you againSherrri

Stayed for two weekend nights Room was clean and comfortable This property has obviously been renovated more times than a Kardashian’s face, but it’s in pretty good shape

Breakfast is crowded and pretty limitedBiggest complaint is parking Don’t stay out past 2100 if you want to be sure to park your car We got lucky and caught someone leaving- grabbing the only space after circling several times
