Great location for a week Clean and great staff Manager was an expert at handling issues

However, some variables that need addressedPesticides smell: travel a lot and never experienced this anywhere else It not pesticides, some distracting smell existsSecurity: door locks could be upgraded Window lock are actually broken in certain rooms Definitely the one I stayedBottom line: a great place and recommend

The Courtyard Springfield is a somewhat run down hotel that does not live up to the other Marriott properties we have visited Bathrooms were marginal in upkeep (Running toilets, squeaky and hard to close doors, damaged towel racks)$10 per person parking fee

Three of us arrived in one car so our one night parking fee was $30 for a single vehicle When we booked, the website gave us the total with all fees Did not include any parking fees Seems like a backdoor way to hide the real cost of the roomAC could not keep the room cool or control the humidity Not a comfortable nightIn general would not recommend this hotel There are many other better options within a couple of miles

Kristi Germ

The rooms had an odd smell The mattresses were nasty Urine or throw up stain on mattress near the head of the bed

The other mattress had what looked like dried boogers or bed bug shells in the cracks The windows open, but the screen was completely ripped so we had to keep it shut Cost extra to park and breakfast is not included Not worth the $170 Won’t return*Pictures attached

The staff are friendly and well-mannered My room was on the top floor and was spacious, clean, and comfy The high ceiling had an automated sun-shade, but it didn’t work at the time so that was a bummer

Check-in and check-out were a breeze I would stay again for sure My only nitpick is the parking It’s a little tight depending on where you park

Dale Nelson

I hope the staff reads this, thank you, thank you, thank you for everything the week I stayed here I arrived on a red eye at 8am and they made accommodations to get a room ready so I could get some sleep before my event I was attending at 4pmThe room was excellent and comfortable, the AC worked great! The TV and internet were excellent, the hotel was clean and the bed was perfect! The staff was always professional and an amazing help! Very approachable and easy to talk to

Thanks for everything!

As much as I would like to leave a good review, I cannot Check-in was quick and easy, and the gentleman at the front desk was super nice He presented us with our room key, and we proceeded to our room

When entering the room it was extremely hot, as if the heat was on; though it was not My sister started to spray everything down with Lysol (seeing as though COVID is still going) and noticed that there were specks or dirt on her bed along with strands of hair We made our way back to the front desk where we spoke with a young lady who was there with the gentleman who initially checked us in We explained our issue, and she swapped us to another room My sister and I made our way to our new room (327), where we entered and started to check everything out I was highly disappointed Between the stains on my pillows, my bed skirt, and then the coffee pot, and ice bucket being in the bathroom; I was ready to leave!!!! I called down to the front desk spoke to the young lady (not sure if it was the same young lady who moved us already or not) and was told that there were no more rooms available I hung up and called nine other hotels that were in the area No one had any rooms available, as we were told that there was a college graduation that had all their rooms booked My sister and I went downstairs and asked for extra towels and sheets so that we could try to figure something out A gentleman brought some up, and my sister helped me change the sheets on my bed I placed the pillows on the floor and just used the towels as something to lay my head on when sleeping I stay at plenty of Marriotts throughout the country, but being at this Marriott was very uncomfortable, and I just wasn’t happy with cleanliness of the rooms at all It’s not at all how I expected to spend my Mother’s Day weekend, that my children and niece planned for my sister and I I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all

We had a wonderful stay there in November 2021 Great location, good value, and clean Silvia provided a warm welcome and offered great tips during our stay

The only issue during our stay was that very sick people would come down to the breakfast area, touch everything, sit, and eat there Although, this is not the hotel’s or staff’s fault, there could have more mitigation on their part to prevent the sickly from touching everything Overall, I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again

I travel quite a bit for work and generally look for Courtyards – I find them very consistent with all the right amenities so it just feels like coming home each visit This trip I couldn’t locate one and ended up at this property which was fine although it felt a bit “older” than other places I’ve stayed in the past The staff was pleasant and accommodating and the rings clean and comfortable If you’re looking for a place to rest your head for the night this hotel checks the boxes but if you’re looking for a place to take your family or enjoy some social time, you’ll find better options

Abigail Morales

We had a great stay for 10 days in March The front desk staff were very kind and helpful The little store downstairs has basic necessities like Floss, antacids, snacks, wine and beer

Note that alcohol sales stop after 11pm due to VA lawThe rooms themselves were clean, we had a 9 and 14 year old with us and while playing around the room, they found an old ball and snack bar someone left above the hutch of the desk (kind of high up so not the staff’s fault but still a little strange they don’t check up there) The doors to the restrooms are sliding doors with no locks which lacks privacy but for family not badWe used the laundry room which runs about 90 minutes total wash and dry- the store sells cheap soap and fabric softener The gym is open 24 hours for anyone who wants to workout We also enjoyed breakfast served from 6:30 am to 9:30 ish, hot eggs, breakfast sausage, bagels, cream cheese, spinach and various grab and go items Overall you cannot beat the price and value of this place for a Washington DC vacation We went to the national mall about 16 minutes away daily and felt we were in a central location We will be back!

We had the BEST experience here!!! My wife and I stayed there for a short getaway weekend and as soon as we stepped in we were welcomed by Brandon at the front desk He was the nicest front desk agent we have had the pleasure to meet He was very personable and we had a great conversation

He went above and beyond and sent us a bottle of champagne to our room! Very nice gentleman The hotel itself was also fantastic Very clean and beautiful

Joseph Berkowitz

This is a very nice hotel in a fabulous location Our room was one of the nicest, and had a great view of the water The style was hip but a bit colorless

The property has a nice gym, restaurant with bar and outdoor sundeck, although it was partially blocked off and plantings needed some attention Front desk staff were all lovely and helpful Great all in all Could use a few tweaks

Nina

Dog friendly hotels are usually a hit or miss, and this one is a hit! Great overall experience during our stay The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room we stayed in have a nice layout and was very clean Common areas are beautifully designed as well

Nice location too Walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants, and parksThere IS parking available, but it’s pretty tight Think DC parking garages but smaller capacity However, there is valet available

The staff at this hotel deserves an award! Every person I met was so helpful and friendly My room was very clean, the check-in process was seamless, and storing/picking up my luggage after checkout took less than one minute each way I was staying there for work and not focused on my hotel stay, but the incredible staff really made me stop and appreciate how nice it was

I would highly recommend choosing this hotel over others in the same price range if you’re planning a trip to National Harbor Thank you for a lovely stay and kudos to the staff and management!

Michelle Emeh

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hampton We were greeted and welcomed by a lovely front desk clerk I’m sorry I didn’t get her name but I wanted to lift her up

She was pleasant, professional and polite We arrived prior to check in and was pleasantly surprised that our room was ready The room and bathroom was clean and airy and it came equipped with a microwave/refrigerator The beds were super comfortable Breakfast was good, I personally don’t eat huge breakfast but all the amenities were in place to do so I loved the surrounding area, shops, restaurants etc etc We will definitely return Thank you Hampton Inn & Suites for a pleasant stay!!!

E Odum

The hotel had only one operating elevator average wait time was 5 minutes We opted for parking validation for the three nights we stayed However we ended up having to pay an extra $15 because our parking card was cut early

When presented to the manager, the best she could offer us was to call the parking garage owner There’s no number on the ticket or on St George’s site to contact anyone Our bathroom was not clean there was hair in the shower and on the floor The hotel offered no way to get change for the washer and dryer The best they could tell me was to go to cvs and get change The only good thing about this hotel was the location That’s why I gave them a two We will definitely consider other hotels in the area the next time we visit

This hotel was amazing! My family and I stayed here over the weekend and we truly enjoyed this hotel Check-in was pretty quick Continental breakfast was available every morning

Food was pretty good Rooms were amazing! I had 3 King Suites (2 bedrooms) and all three were spotless Great location right across from the Metro station Also, there was a 2 hour reception every night that included 2 free drinks per person per day Very thoughtful! Lima was amazing, and even gifted a later check-out time due to traffic My only complaint was parking, but that was to be expected

Becky Coxson

Cocktail hour was great Room clean and comfy Staff very nice

Would have given 5 stars if trash cans in elevators has not been overflowing onto floor If you don’t have staff to empty cans don’t put them out Also have to ask if you want clean towels or room trash emptiedBreakfast buffet was well maintained

Justin S

Great stay over the 4th of July weekend! Although the hotel was very busy, they were extremely attentive to any need we had! Great included breakfast! They went the extra mile and reached out to offer a late checkout on our departure day…which helped us out immensely Great location to the train as well! Will stay again when visiting DC

Perfectly off I-95 south making it easy to get back on the high way Very quiet and very clean After an incredibly long day it was nice to be checked in quickly and efficiently even for the late hour I was doing so

All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful The room was spotless and the bed was as amazing as the omelette bar downstairs that was available during the complimentary breakfast I will always recommend staying here

diane eliezer

This is the nicest Embassy Suites I’ve stayed in, bar none Impeccably clean, large bathrooms, comfortable beds, excellent front desk The free hot breakfast features an omelet bar, and the free drinks from 5:30 – 7:30 each evening is a welcome tradition

We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a great French Dip sandwich with sirloin and a Caesar Salad with about 8 oz of hotgrilled salmon, plus sides and drinks for under $4500 I would recommend this hotel to everybody The only “downsides” are (1) it’s incredibly convenient to DC /all tourist areas BUT there is nothing close by except a Wendy’s (2) the lighting in the rooms is absolutely awful, just plain DARK and (3) $10 per night to park Other than that, I’ll continue to make this my go-to hotel in VA/DC

Angelo Cruz

Quite honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! From booking online to arriving, I was treated with respect and as a true guest In a post-covered world where we’re all putting the pieces back together, it is great to see this establishment really taking care of people and making them feel at home I have to really applaud Sabrina and Alex at the front desk

Nothing beats a stay at the Hilton and Embassy knocks that right out of the park!

I have to say that the front staff is very helpful and professional My original room was nice, updates bathroom and very clean I had a issue with the TV since it didn’t work at all

Matt the attendant on duty came and checked it out, once he noticed that the TV needed to have a maintenance call, he switched my room without issues, double checked to make sure all amenities were in working order and then delivered the new room keys to me My second room was the same from the first I was right by the elevator, but did t hear a thing, seems like the room are well insulated Bed was comfortable and the amenities were in point I’ll be here again for my next work trip, glad to know there is a great staff here

Samantha Oney

The rooms are comfy and stylish and the hotel was nice and clean Though we were disappointed that the pool was closed and the shuttle wasn’t running But the staff were all very helpful

The breakfast bar was especially delicious with lots of choices, all kept fully stocked and fresh by Miss Debora She was so kind and friendly and very helpful She made sure to chat with everyone and make sure we all had what we needed It was a great way to start the day

Stayed at this location for almost a week Wished they would of extended my stay but that didn’t happen The person that made my stay enjoyable was Deborah

I would not recommend staying here The staff treated us like they were doing us a favor and yet they don’t offer anything here The pool is closed

The valet is a joke but charges $49 a day There is no hospitality or warmth here The bar is supposed to close at 11, but they turned us away at 10:40 We then called and asked the front desk for a bottle opener and the rude staff person was obnoxious, arrogant, off putting and refused to help us out Instead he hung the phone up on us Never got the bottle opener Never got an apology for the awful service The GM was apparently on site and was made aware of our concerns and never once reached out Don’t stay here People wonder why robots are replacing them This stay would have been better if they had robots serving us

Young Juhn

Location and quality of the hotel was good But service was not much I requested early check-in and I do understand due to large events, rooms were not available but font desk staff communicated not just me but to all others like is customers’ fault asking for early check-in

Very disappointed staff training on customer service It damages the band value of The Westine

Nice hotel with a lot of inconveniences The room are great; goof climate control, comfortable bed, and quality towels, etc The problem is that the hotel is not set up for a normal traveler

It is a convention center primarily so if the event is co-located at the hotel, it’s great If you’re visiting DC and want to stay here for the nearby restaurants and easy access to the Maryland side, go elsewhere First of all, checking in is a process It took me probably 30 minutes to get to my room even though I had made a reservation There are long waiting lines at the check-in desk, and even though I’m an elite member, there was only one employee handling the check in Even after check-in, the hotel layout is so confusing it took me a minute just to find the elevators Second was the parking garage; it is a hike to get to and very expensive Third was the “resort fee” This is a sneaky way to charge you $22 more a day for your stay They say it includes dry cleaning and some other things but its a poor facade for an excuse to nickle and dime the guests–if I want dry cleaning, I’ll pay for it separately I was originally planning on staying there for an entire week, but decided to check out on the second dayI was excited to stay at this top rated hotel due to its location and surrounding amenities, but I’ll never be staying there again

David Blumberg

Loved this place! We stayed in their upgraded Suite and it was fantastic Well appointed, shower pressure was strong, loved it! Beautiful building Only minus was the loud laser show in the evening which was really annoying from our room…… also the Pool leaves a lot to be desired

The floor of the pool is terrible!!! Rough surface like unfinished concrete People – GET IT RESURFACED SMOOTHLY!! It’s only a bit over 3 feet deep so very shallow for a real pool

Hampus Engstroem

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This website will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is the best rated in the area

I have been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you won’t regret itNational Harbor in I would go back to this hotel again in a heartbeat! Let me start out by saying, that I’m usually a person that likes to explore new places, and rarely return to places I’ve already been due to this This hotel would be one I would return to- Absolutely beautiful Well kept building and grounds, lots of activities to explore and view I love that there was shopping with in the hotel, a great marketplace amazing Super clean and wonderful staff This is probably one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever see the glass elevator is nice the view is breathtaking the rooms were very nice and had lots of space 👍 The people that work here are exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful They led us in all the right directions, and front desk was very nice 😊

I have no complaints about the hotel in general other than its thin walls and floors I am a Gold tier IHG member and I normaly get assigned a room on an upper floor and away from elevators because that is my preference on my IGH profile Member page For whatever reason, I was given a room on the second floor right next to the elevator in a hotel that at the time of check in looked to be about 80 vacant

The room I was given was clean and spacious and since I was only there one night for work I didn’t complain However, as I was settling in to get a good night sleep, the people above me checked in and began walking heavily back and forth They must have had a toddler as well because he/she was running non stop a over the room I tried to ignore it and even banged on the ceiling since it was apparent there was no sound proofing between the floors to speak of Nothing stopped these guest and their kid from incessantly walking like elephants above me so I went to the front desk and requested that I be given a new room on the top floor given that I had to sleep well for an important meeting the next morning The girl at the front desk was very nice and switched my room to the 4th floor She even gave a bigger room I guess the moral of the story is if you want to get a good nights sleep at this hotel request a room on the top floor Oh, and check the IHG members preferences before assigning them a room

Laura

Where to start

the first room had stains on the sheets (not sure if they were clean or not but they’re stained), the toilets were stained (maybe hard water – but seems isolated to this hotel only), and the couch was stained – I didn’t notice much after that Second room had blood stains on the sheets, and I left the hotel The woman at the front desk was very nice, and she tried to accommodate me, but there was no way I could sleep there I don’t get it – investing in new sheets, and a water softener seems like such an easy fix for these two obvious recurring problems!?

Spent three nights for a wedding weekend, along with the wedding party and several other guests The room was reliably Hampton Inn comfortable The manager was not only accommodating to the group, he was also quite friendly, speaking whenever he saw us and engaging in conversation whenever we were waiting for someone to come down

He made sure to have our room serviced when we did not check out on Sunday I give extra credit to any hotel with waffles for breakfast The rest of the breakfast fare was pretty typical Two things to know: 1 Parking, while adequate, is mostly not convenient to the main entrance 2 There are no restaurants within walking distance, but the hotel has a list of nearby places

This was a wonderful place The room was very clean and well organized and had a work area, refrigerator, microwave, etc the room was full sanitized and sealed prior to check in

There were multiple hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel Hot and fresh coffee was available in the lobby 24/7 and there was a very well stocked mini-store for late night munchies There was a full breakfast in the mornings from 6 to 10 There was also free WiFi

We are Club Wyndham owners at this location

I loved everything except issues with the pool area people were leaving stuff in chairs and then leaving and going back to the rooms or somewhere for hours at a time so that left there no chairs for people that were actually at the pool Especially the Cabana chairs somehow I feel there should be monitored by the facility When we reported it they kind of just acted like there was nothing they could do about it

Anarcho Monk

Right next to some beautiful views, the resort has 4 pools, a game room, from 9am to 10pm as well as a 24-hour gym, spa, and computer room with printer It might not serve breakfast but each room has its own kitchen with fridge, microwave, oven, and sink The best part was the free laundry room

The parking validation was a breeze thanks to customer service

Great location to enjoy the national harbor area Not too far from Washington DC The facility doesn’t have its own parking, but there’s a parking lot across the street, which the timeshare acts as the intermediary

My guest arrived first and instead of asking how long they plan to stay, they assumed they would stay the duration of the reservation and issued them a parking pass for the length of the reservation When they left 2 days shy of the reservation, they were told there is no refund for unused time The lobby and common areas looked nice My room was a 3 bedroom suite with a balcony The room was a decent size, the amenities were a bit antiquated, and the rug was disgusting My grandson, a 15 month old, was with me and the dirt on his feet, daily, was unacceptable Unless Wyndham plans to renovate, I don’t see myself staying there again This is not the first Wyndham timeshare that I stayed at that seriously needs an upgrade It makes me wonder what they do with our maintenance

We used to love this hotel but not so much anymore!!! It has gone downhill! The lobby is & has always been beautiful that’s probably the only plus The room was dated, shower wasn’t clean The TV didn’t work at all the whole entire time we were there! I called the front desk they didn’t have a maintenance man to repair it

Thank God we had our laptop we had to watch movies on my laptop! I told the front desk the next day they pretty much blew it off and didn’t care As far as the “Garden Sleep System beds” they were non existent!!!! We’ve stayed at this hotel before We usually stay there when visiting family & when we’ve stayed before they had the “Garden Sleep System beds” you used to be able to adjust the bed to your own comfort how ever firm or soft you wanted the bed They no longer have these beds unless they are only in a few rooms but they sure as hell weren’t in our room & our beds were hard as a rock not comfortable at all!!!!!

Had a great experience I was able to check in via the app digital key sent straight to my phone So walk right past the front desk

App can help you find your room your phone is your key to your room, hotel, fitness center, & pool Unfortunately the pool area is currently closed for maintenance 😕 but other than that 👍🏻 close to dining 🍽 shopping 🛍 movies 🎬 🎞Like &follow for more Thanks for reading Safe travels 🙏

Room was huge, mostly clean, had a Keurig coffee maker in the room; the free coffee in the lobby was good as well Hotel could use an update Very pricey for what you get

Warning there are 2 separate breakfast options: continental (bagels, toast, yogurt, juices and oatmeal) or made to order (eggs, bacon, sausage waffle etc…) $1200 and $1299 I believe were the charges There were no signs to tell you the options or the cost Was not told when I checked in that they were both basically the same price Was shocked when I received a bill for toast, oatmeal, and coffee for $2500 (there were two in my party) Front desk hospitality… in a word – lacking Wait staff hospitality – Excellent! Location is perfect

Came for casino experience only as part of a birthday getaway The GPS directions were a little weird but got us there Valet parking was prompt & only steps away from the casino entrance

We were carded & then on our way The atmosphere was lively for early Friday evening, drinks were plentiful, staff was pleasant & helpful, bathrooms were spotless My girlfriend plays the tables, blackjack & war, while I hit the slots & then joined her later for a $25 minimum war table The slots were stingy but I managed to hit enough to break even The tables were about the same, but eventually hit a streak at war & walked away several hundred on the plus side Some of the dealers seemed new, but no issues Masks were optional & social distancing wasn’t observed I was thrilled to find this casino is smoke-free! I would return here for sure

This is where I come to when I wanna feel luxurious! 😝 It’s a great spot to spend the day with family Lots of nice restaurants and bars at night 🍹🍸I really like the decorative themes they have close to the Casino 🎰 area and next to one of my favorite restaurants, Ginger

🍲There’s also lots of outdoor space to just enjoy the view of the national harbor area 🎡

Christina Grimes

So I can only speak on the Casino and the hotel lobby Security was pleasant upon entering I love a casino with a signature scent in the air

The Casino is pretty large with a nice variety of machines I only wish I saw more drink servers, I sat in a section for at least 30 minutes and did not see a serverThe lobby was beautiful, I enjoyed the installation Will definitely come back to play and hopefully stay next time

I will be staying here a month for work They’re extended stay room is very nice and spacious Staff was very kind and accommodating, breakfast is always fantastic, and the free Wednesday evening bar is amazing after a long day

To top it off, their cleaning staff literally cleaned my dishes for me the first time they cleaned my room! I’ve never had hotel staff do that for me…incredibly thoughtful, amazing service!

Jodie Hall

I have stayed here multiple times for family weddings within the area, this time I came with my boyfriend to visit my Mommom for my Birthday The room was extremely clean, the air conditioner made the room very cool, the bed was the best bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful, and I’ve never slept better at a hotel Highly recommend!😊If you want to feel comfortable, stay here!

Erin Shick

The staff was the only redeeming part of this stay They were accommodating and friendly! Management needs to get its act together though! The indoor pool was closed (which was not disclosed when I made the reservation) and was really frustrating The sign said it was because of COVID but another Marriott property less than five minutes away had their indoor pool open

Everything in the room needed updating and the kitchen was very sparsely furnished We had to call the front desk for basically every pot or pan and the pans provided were way past their prime The room was only cleaned every fourth day (which was way too infrequently for our room/group size) and the one time it was cleaned it was cleaned poorly Oh, and did I mention we saw a mouse in our room on two seperate occasions? 🤮 I am embarrassed I booked this for my immediate and extended family My in laws had never stayed at a residence inn before and I am sure they never will again

Pros:The breakfast provided was niceI had a studio room which was nice and large/comfyAbout 10 minutes from the Dock and King streetCons:1)The walls were thin (ceiling and room to room walls)2) Several of the outlets in the room did not work3)The employees are rude (Other reviews said this, but I figured it couldn’t be that bad well I was wrong)-They did not explain the amenities-When I asked about additional charges, my questions were dismissed/ disregarded So make sure you are watching the charges they place on your card! It was more than just a hold charge-When I asked for a receipt, the front desk employee waved his hand in my face basically telling me to leave4)The parking is $32 per night (with in and out privileges), but the garage is creepy and looks like what you would see in a thriller movie where you’d get put in the trunk of a car The spaces are VERY tight and limited spaces

No other options around the hotel for parking except one where you have to pay each time you enter

Leland

Not well managed property Staff is slow and provides poor service Marriott needs to intervene

The gym has a sewer pipe leaking into a bucket splashing around for months Poor air flow in the rooms, the air conditioning unit doesn’t seem to come close to the setting and they allow pets so I find my breathing suffers here, I suppose from allergies The beds are a bit worn They replaced my towels and a large curly black hair was presented right on the front of the wash cloth, how niceThe breakfast is lame and unhealthy – all sugar and carbsThe gym is well equipped with weights which is really the only reason I have returned here but the plumbing leak I saw 3 months ago will keep me from coming back

Douglas Black

The good: fairly nice room with enough space and furniture for most needs Good location for Alexandria Breakfast is decent

The bad: they charge 32 dollars a night for parking Rooms are quite humid Wi-Fi is unsecured Hotel doesn’t allow legal firearms, so feels insecure
