Clean and comfortable rooms! The front desk staff member was very efficient We arrived late at night and had a smooth and quick check-in He had the room keys and paperwork ready for us as we walked in

We appreciated being able to rest after a long day of driving The courtyard area appeared very nice! Would absolutely stay here again when traveling to SB

One of the most expensive Best Westerns, why, I have no ideaThe hotel itself is a handsome, Spanish style just next to the 101 The lobby and courtyard were very nice

But you don’t sleep and stay in the lobby and courtyardsOur room was very small and we booked a king deluxe courtyard room, which was more expensiveLuckily, we were out most of the early evening in the downtown area, and by the time we got back to our room, we were ready for bedIn the morning, I did not want to make my paper cup, dry creamer coffee, so I went to the downstairs lobby to look for that comforting large coffee brewer, with the real cream and suchNothing! Stark and empty lobbyWhen I asked where the coffee was, I was given directions to the upstairs restaurant Upon arrival, I was told by the waitstaff that they had to give me a regular cup of coffee to go and charge me 295 plus tax (and tip) So I was paying $330 a night for a small nothing room, and had to pay for a sad, regular cup of coffeeNot going back there again

The facility is very nice, and the courtyard is beautiful We enjoyed previous visits, but this time the hotel was full, primarily with construction workers from a nearby highway project The staff was not up to the job

Our room was not ready at our arrival and was not available until after 4 pm The desk staff complained that they did not have sufficient staff to ready the room They were clearly overworked and not happy about it The restaurant was closed both mornings with no explanation We did not feel like valued customers

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it! The workers are all very friendly and everything is beautiful! It feels like a resort The rooms were up to date, clean and very comfortable They have a pool and have breakfast for guests

The oven is just down the sidewalk and everything about it is beautiful! I love that we can actually text the front desk and communicate that way, You can ask questions and make requests and don’t need to try to track someone downThe only downfall to our stay was the restaurant was closed and closed down a couple of days before we arrived and their website didn’t mention that happening That was a big reason that pushed us to pick this place to stayI’d definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

Beth Rojas

We will be back Our room was clean, beds comfortable, very quite and the bathroom updated and modern I only give it 4 stars because the Restaurant was closed, and with all the lovely grass area it would have been nice to have a picnic area

There was only one chair in our room, no dinette ,We would have liked to have sat in our room and had a nice meal and stared at the view

Kiohona B

It was a horrible experience I tried to check in and had to wait 15 minutes because no one was at the registration office It said it was open but the door was locked

I let it slide because the man who helped me was so nice I think his name was Josh He let me know he was the only one there working which was my second red flag After a 16 hour work day though I just wanted to get to sleep I went to my room and was mortified The co-ed living space (which is no where stated on your website) weirded me out What was even more shocking was the ceiling falling apart, walls with chipped paint, the uncleanliness and the worst part was the smell of mold and mildew I have upper-respiratory issues and am extra sensitive to toxins in the air and it was hard for me to breathe I was showed 5 more rooms until there was one that I could breathe decently in The prominent odor and feeling of mold is very apparent I didn’t want to stay there at all, but had no choice because at that point it was 10:30pm at night and I had to be up for work in the morning I paid $455 for this experience and I would appreciate a refund It was unacceptable

We stayed here in their ocean view suite It had such a nice room/patio! We enjoyed that we got complimentary glasses of wine with our stay Room service wasn’t going since it wasn’t the weekend, but we ate outside at the restaurant and the food and service was good

We enjoyed how they have games throughout the grounds (chess, checkers, croquet), how close it is to the beach and parks, and how the buildings are split up Great hotel and wonderful service by everyone!

khristine jackson

I had a meeting with some VIPS We also had to discuss “Top Secret” details concerning a project

So I decided to arrange the meeting in my suite I had stayed at this hotel some years back when it was owned by the late actor and hotel owner Fess Parker He guest starred in the television 📺 series called “Daniel Boone” This property is rather largeso you may want to have a golf cart ride you to your buildingencase your not in the main lobby area The hotel has made some up gradesgone are cookiesthey use to give They were so delicious 😋 🍪😂 I included a few pictures Unfortunately I couldn’t include pictures of the lunch and equipment because these VIPS would not want to be included in an online review what I can say is my view of the ⛱️ beach was superb There is a poolSelf parkingThe bed 🛏️ was rather shorter but really comfy I really loved the 🚿 shower The buildingsyou must use a key card as a safety measure There is a park close by and an area off property where you can exercise In the end even though it’s no longer the Fess Parker It’s still a lovely place to spend a weekend, vacation or have a business lunch on property

Catherine Berry

We stayed here three nights for an anniversary getaway, and it was wonderful! The property is beautiful, a set of Mission-style buildings facing the ocean across a wide expanse of grass and palm trees Our room was very comfortable, and the accessibility features for my disabled partner were top notch However, the very best thing about our stay was the staff

From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, often anticipating our needs before we even asked I will definitely stay here again the next time I need some pampered relaxation time

I’m glad we stayed here rather than the funk zone/near Stearn’s Wharf That area is very crowded with tourists and busy streets It was so nice to have peace and quiet only a mile down the road

The beach and boardwalk here is also much nicer than by Stearn’s Wharf It only took us five minutes to go anywhere in town We opted for street parking rather than valet and felt comfortable leaving our rental on the street We hardly had much trouble finding street parking and it’s all free and overnightThis hotel had a quiet pool area that let you look directly at the ocean We loved the heated floors and using our breakfast credit The beds were super comfy and we enjoyed our robes! All the staff was friendly and attentive I recommend this place for your SB getaway!

We had booked with another hotel but they couldn’t fit our vehicle We ended up here only by chance and it was so much better! Joseph was excellent in getting us a last minute reservation The room was spacious, bedding was super soft and the beach access was perfect

The breakfast was outstanding This turned out for the best Highly recommend

Sharon L

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in December 2021 in an ocean view king room The room is spacious, comfortable and clean The furnishing is nice but a bit old fashioned

The balcony has a table and a couple chairs to enjoy the very nice viewThey had a promotion at the time when we booked directly on their website We got breakfast credit at their restaurant We ordered breakfast from their restaurant and ate it on our balcony We both ordered different breakfasts for our 2 mornings, all 4 breakfasts were excellentThe hotel is within walking distance or a short drive to lots of food choices and there is a grocery market a couple blocks awayTheir parking lot is small so you either park on the street or pay for valet parking The valet guys gave us good and efficient service

The hotel in itself is really lovely The atmosphere and interior is nice and done with good taste The beds are wonderful

The staff is sweet and welcomingParking is free and easyThe breakfast is good if you like it It’s one dish to choose from and that may not be what all enjoy I think it would be great with at least some breadThe last day we stayed the kitchen was closed so it was fruit, cake and s sweet strawberry yoghurtYou have to ask get your room done I think it would be better if it was the other way aroundIn the afternoon there is a cheesecakeAnd be aware that there is a lot of noise from the highway so it’s not so enjoyable to sit on the balcony even though the view to the ocean is lovely When you close the door you almost can’t here the highway but the air-conditioning then steps in instead There is a fan in the roof which is niceThe location near the beach which is the best beach i ever been to and Santa Barbara is brilliant (you do need a car)Overall i think the price is to high compared to what you get They need to step up the service! The rooms should be done every day, there should be a cake table in the afternoon, more things to choose from at breakfast and at least a chef every day They could install some noise reducing appliances Then I would come back

Customer service here is terrible! I wanted to treat my dad to a weekend getaway for his birthday with his wife and unfortunately we had a sudden death in the family When I called asking to move the reservation it was within the timeframe in which you are no longer allowed to move reservations I asked if they would be able to help us as I was not asking for my money back I was just asking for help around that difficult time for our family

The person who was helping me actually put up a fight at first then proceeded to make it seem as though they were doing me a huge favor by moving the reservation No remorse just very apathetic Unfortunately, the next reservation date fell when my dad was called into work last min and could not get out of it so I called again pleading if there was anything they could do to help us even though it was in the timeframe of when you could not move our reservation again The person helping me this time proceeded to say, “well we already made an exception for you last time” (again, so apathetic to the situation) and I responded, “yes, because there was a death in the family!” Again, not asking for a refund just asking for a little assistance so my dad could still celebrate his birthday in what seemed like such a nice charming Inn Ended the conversation with, “I can escalate this to my manger but I know it will get denied so let me know what you would like to do” I obviously escalated it and they denied it which is baffling to me Why would you choose to keep half of the charge, still have an empty room and now disgruntled customers instead of moving the reservation getting the full payment and having happy customers? At the end of the day , I understand you have a job to do and a policy but you deal with people and are in the business of customer service which all of you are piss poor at All I know is I will not be recommending this place to anyone I know

Whitney Ward

The staff was outstanding, continually ready to help The attendant who really look at us in was particularly useful and clarified everything completely He recalled our name and was continually ready to assist with whatever we really wanted, astounding staff individuals! We likewise enjoyed how clean the lodging was, the cleaning staff is brilliant

I will prescribe this inn to my loved ones

Incredible accomodations The 5:30 cheese and wine was a delight Tasty danishes in the morning too

We got a garden view which also showed the pool and the ocean The place is designed to have comfortable social settings for guests and I really loved it Also no air freshener in the rooms which is awesome We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Santa Barbara

Teresa Gong

I couldn’t decide whether to give West Beach a 3 or 4 star review I’m a bit sour over the cost/value, and frankly feel a bit taken The room was clean & large, the bed comfortable, the staff pleasant

We had an ocean view with a big sliding glass door and patio that looks over the road so it’s somewhat noisy But basically, it’s an old roadside motel that’s been remodeled to a clean, well-located Best Western I don’t think the street/ocean view was worth the added cost I would recommend staying a few blocks inland and taking a nice walk to the beach instead

Ashley Valencia

We found this hotel the day of our arrival It was a group of 4 of us and prices were ridiculous that weekend but they were able to give us a great rate for a suite with two bedrooms The stay was comfortable and chill

They also mailed me a very special purse that I forgot at the hotel Most hotels never mail you your forgotten belongings I am so thankful they did!

Absolutely worst night stay of anywhere, ever The views are amazing, but the room is run down with stains on the carpet and the shower is completely questionable (I’ve stayed at campsites with better showers

) The absolute worst part was the domestic dispute going on literally ALL NIGHT in one of the rooms and there is no one at the front desk from 10:30pm on We called before the front desk closed to report the noise (yelled, sobbing, things being banged around or thrown) and we heard them call once before the staff left for the night – that’s it We called repeatedly throughout the night to try to reach someone – nothing Voicemail box is full, no back up person or operator Worst customer service possible I’ve received better at truck stop motels The disturbance started at 10pm and is still going strong 8 hours later when I write this at almost 6am We opened the window to have the waves drown out the noise and even with an added sound machine we could still hear the other room Not sure how the property is a 3 star other than the views 2 star at most(Restaurant has amazing food, but walked by the kitchen on our way out and saw that one cook didn’t have a mask on and the two others weren’t using their masks to cover their faces – nose sticking out or mask below the chin)Will update on whether they comp the room or do literally anything to help make things up to us First night away since the pandemic began 2 years ago and we have slept less then when we had a newbornUpdate: The GM reached out to us and offered a full refund to make up for the chaos last night Much appreciated Hoping they’ll staff the night hours with someone on call at least for the future guests

Dorothy Arnold

Absolutely one of the worst places I’ve stayed! Property is old & tired, but more importantly not clean, and seems seedy My husband’s nightstand was sticky; carpet was gross; bed was rickety Had a horrible night’s sleep as there no a/c, and it’s right on the highway

Between traffic and construction it was noisy as hell if windows were open, and had to because it was too warm otherwise Thank God we only booked one night! Would have gone elsewhere but we arrived on the later side and hotel is out there by itself The only upside is the ocean is beautiful, but you can do much better Skip this one!

Maria Wasnick

The views are nice – absolutely! But, our room was run down, carpet full of stains, weird shower Apparently, you pay the same price for an updated room and a room like ours – very old and kind of nasty Also, keep in mind that this hotel is right on hwy 101 and it gets very loud every time the trucks are passing by

Not impressed, had way better stays for cheaper price

Absolutely amazing! Breakfast was fresh, delicious and well balanced every morning Location was a 5 minutes drive to all of the best places The entire property was so cute and well kept, so were the rooms

Loved the garden room and how it was on the ground floor, such a nice room!! Absolutely would stay again and recommend to anyone staying in Santa Barbara!! Also loved the cookies every evening, delicious

Lynette Trinh

We had a four night stay here for our anniversary The inn was beyond charming and full of antique charm while still being updated The parking in the back and along the building was enough for everyone although it can be a bit of a squeeze later at night

We stayed in the Partridge room which was even more spacious in person than in the photos There was a nice gift left for us by the inn for our anniversary and a nice note The room was very clean but still personable with antique wallpaper, cabinets and chairs There was a personal ac unit and heater inside as well which we used on the cold nights and warmer daysThe breakfasts were delicious and they were very accommodating to our dietary needs that we notified them of in advance Each breakfast is served to you by the staff and not a buffet style which was very homey and impressiveWe used the inn as a base to walk to downtown Santa Barbara and they had a great book of recommendations left in the room for us There was also complimentary cookies and wine in the afternoon as well as a water machine to fill my water bottle after walking which I really lovedOverall a 10 out of 10, we would definitely stay here again It was really easy to feel comfortable here and we’d love to explore another unique room

Ivanna Ricci

Excellent b&b Really cozy Victorian house Amazing staff good breakfast

The house is beautiful and they have complementary water, coffee, wine and cookiesI don’t put five stars due to the fact that the room we were in (balcony room) was super small and bathroom had zero privacy with itEverything else was superb

One word…wowThis place is amazing The owners of this bed and breakfast have spent a lot of time and money creating a beautiful place that has expanded to neighbouring properties

The check in process is great, they communicate everything by text including the options for breakfast that they host outside in the most amazing garden spaceWe booked in the ‘Duchess’ double room which was very comfortable The only personal criticism from me was the bed was a little to soft but that is only my personal preference which doesn’t affect my rating at allThis hotel made our stay in Santa Barbara even more memorable

Mab Mabbutt

Loved this place! We stayed in the March Hare room, which wasn’t the biggest but big enough, and with a very comfortable bed What really made our 2-night stay special was the hospitality from the moment we arrived We were welcomed like old friends and the breakfast was one of the best we enjoyed during our 3-week California road trip

The beach was easily walkable (approx 40 mins), and the town itself was en route, so the walk was an enjoyable meander along State Street and around the Funk Zone

Andrea Pierpont

Our film team spent several nights at the Cheshire Cat Inn for the SBIFF in March and it was terrific! The staff was friendly and took great care to communicate well with guests The breakfast was a delicious start to the day And the accomodations were charming, comfortable, clean and welcoming

A wonderful weekend made all the better by staying at this inn Thank you Andrea and Simon!

This is a nice hotel I went here and was satisfied with my experience I booked this hotel online and checked into it

This hotel has the doors of their rooms on the outside, so you have to walk around the hotel to get to your room However, the hotel’s parking lot stretches around the hotel, so you can park right in front of your room The room I stayed in had two beds and a bathroom with a pretty large shower, but much to my surprise, the room also had a kitchen and dining table with four chairs, which was pretty nice The interior of the room was pretty dated, but other than that it was nice This hotel has a restaurant as well with some pretty good food I gave this hotel five stars because it has nice, big rooms and a restaurant as well

Outstanding service by Gabriel who not only checked in all 8 of us on our Gal Pal trip from San Diego April 10-14, 2022, he calculated what each of us should pay individually, which was a complicated procedure Later that evening, he helped us find a missing credit card At all times he was very calm, professional and listened very well

He has excellent listening skills and is very personable He was our hero!

Hotel is nice, but housekeeping and front desk are hopeless Do not expect any sort of housekeeping or maintenance They state their lack of housekeeping is due to COVID measures, meanwhile none of their employees were wearing masks, so it’s quite clear that this is a cost-saving excuse

However, they say they will come by to do housekeeping and give you new towels if you request itthis is a pretty big stretch of the truthDuring our stay, the toilet wouldn’t flush We called the front desk and asked them to fix it while we were out for the day They said they would Nothing happened We then called again and someone finally fixed it The maintenance person very strangely didn’t seem to have a key to our room, which I found very oddThe next day, we asked for towels while we were out Again nothing happened Our pile of towels was left in the room and we were granted no clean towels We called again Their solution to the problem was to leave a bag of towels for us on our doorknob for us to set up AND they gave us the wrong amount of towelsIt seems like the staff categorically don’t have the ability to access rooms, which is the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard of for a hotel I wouldn’t stay here again

What a fabulous hotel We enjoyed our stay here so much! The front desk staff, especially Jason and Jr we’re incredible

From the moment we arrived everyone was welcoming and genuine The room was BEAUTIFUL and being able to open the windows was pure luxury The courtyard and grounds were quiet and peaceful The hotel is perfectly located to the wharf The staff truly went above and beyond for us and we were so grateful We can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Harbor View Inn We were located in the newest of the three buildings, which sits on State Street (the main drag) and is close to the railroad station Our room had a great view of the mountains and the city, with some amazing views around sunset

The location can’t be beat – a 3 minute walk to the pier, and a short walk to tons of wine tasting rooms, restaurants, and shops downtown On-site pool and hot tub were very nice Would definitely stay here again

We stayed here two nights on our recent visit and found everything to be wonderful The location cannot be beat, the rooms are well-maintained and updated, I love the exposed wood beams in the vaulted ceiling‘s against the white paint We stayed in the west building which had a little view but it wasn’t a big deal

I thought the pool could have been better cared for, it was full of garbage and the filter was not running It’s really nice that they have a warm shower on the pool deck, for when coming back from the beach with small children It was really helpful to be able to rinse sand off before going up to the room There’s a quiet little office space nook in the main lobby which was really nice from doing work Also, we ate breakfast at Janine‘s which is on the same block, every single day we were there which was really delightful

Beautiful hotel, from the moment you step out of your car, to walking into the lobby where you get a slight smell of fresh flowers and wonderful decor, to stepping out the back door to view the grounds overlooking the Pacific Ocean It is all an experience The front desk staff was wonderful and very helpful

Before our arrival the concierge’s department made us a wonderful Italian dinner reservation The little car they have to drive guests around the town is so fun and cute Our children loved Scoops, the little ice cream parlor at the family pool For those looking to be kid free, they also have a beautiful and quite adult only pool Walking around the grounds at night on your way to make S’mores (provided by the front desk) you can smell the fragrant, Angel’s trumpets which bloom at night The bed linens were so soft and comfortable, so much so, I plan to buy a set for our house It is all around a beautiful resort

Super kid friendly, kids love the pool, the beach, the scoop shop, and they give you little gifts for them during your stay They especially love the train that comes through! Incredible staff, so friendly…perfect location, great cocktails and food! Last stay they had a really fun live Bruno Mars cover band at the bar with dancing Awesome for a family vacation

Mariella Tzoncheva

Giving them two stars for location of the hotel and ambiance One star for the staff at the patio, great service The food is mediocre at best, the drinks were just so so

After lunch we went to the pool and tried the gelato, tasted worse than any grocery store ice cream One flavor was better than the other but I tried to talk to the lady behind the counter about the quality she stuck a spoon with ice cream in her mouth and said “it tastes fine to me”! I normally wouldn’t say anything because the atmosphere was great however paying that kind of money I tend to expect the best quality food,

Sometimes it’s hard to find a good hotel where you can just relax, lying on a sun lounger by the pool, drinking a good Mojito, especially on a hot day Lemon Tree inn managed to surprise me, it’s an amazing place for the price, especially when comparing alternatives in Santa Barbara 20 minutes walk and you are already in the city center with a huge number of cool establishments, the restaurant in the hotel itself is also worth noting, it is really good, it reminds of the vintage atmosphere of the 90s, but what delicious food, it is even tastier with a 10% discount for guests

From controversial points, it is difficult to contact the staff, but given the busy days, it is quite difficult for them to answer everyone, but they try However, if you want to have a good time, this hotel is for you

Patty Hlinka

Front desk staff was amazing, personable and professional They worked very hard to honor my specific requests for where I wanted my room located That was so appreciated

From desk staff, waiters, gardeners, housekeeping and maintenance you cannot ask for better service and friendliness I have been staying at Lemon Tree when I come to SB from northern CA for over 25 years, it is like coming home There are great restaraunts all around and a new Starbucks about 1 1/2 blocks up from LemonTree on State that is awesome You can’t go wrong with Daily Grind and their heavenly scones Can’t wait for next trip to SB and Lemon Tree

Very nice location A couple of blocks from the beach We had a very roomy, corner unit

It was very clean and the bed was very comfy I only had very brief encounter (check in) with Greg the owner who was very nice Never met his wife We were there the week after 4th of July, which I guess is peak season because our room @$360 p/night was a bit pricey I’d stay again but, would plan to go off season

S.V. Fire House Cat

Serving Santa Barbara since 1976, Greg and Jennifer Mishkin, owner-managers of the Pacific Crest Hotel, (pictured) delivered quiet, clean and safe accommodations for my visitThey indicated welcoming and serving prior happy guests, over time, has been/is is a very rewarding part of their lives After staying at several of the larger name brand hotels near by, it can be stated their service standards exceed the competition

A definite recommend Book directly through their website for best price and fewer headaches!

Christine Harvey

It’s hard to get past the treatment I received from the owner but will say the room was fine just know it’s a renovated motel, that comes with small bathrooms and no food or drink options on site Beyond this, be wary of the hotel owner, Greg- he is very unkind Before even checking in, I had a tragic family emergency and prior to arrival I wanted to cancel the last night of 3

I had booked the nights using points through Expedia, and they would allow me to cancel the third night if the property gave permission I had called numerous times with no response from the property, and at this point, I had only been receiving confusing communication via text from Greg When I finally did get a call, Greg, the owner, not only showed no empathy whatsoever, but threatened that “if I said another word he would not allow me to stay at the hotel at all” and that those working for Expedia are “foreigners and liars,” before hanging up on me I never Please consider the kind of person you are supporting by staying here

We got the budget queen room off of the lobby You are right next to the breakfast area and lobby which was completely fine with us We heard a little bit of noise but it didn’t effect us whatsoever

The front desk employee was amazing Super energetic and happy to be there He suggested a wonderful restaurant and was extremely friendly We ended up having the complimentary breakfast We ended up renting the bikes (for free) and cruised around the coast Super close to the beach and also close to downtown Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at The Eagle Inn for 2 nights and highly recommend it We booked our reservation directly with the Inn and found Paul to be very friendly and helpful in helping us decide which room and location we wanted We requested early check-in (about an hour early) and were contacted by Peter on arrival day to say they were able to expedite room cleaning so we could check in early

Upon arrival Peter greeted us, checked us in quickly and easily and pointed to the just baked chocolate chip cookies Our room was very clean, comfortable, had adequate space for our needs and was very quiet Peter was on duty each day, answered all our questions, made some excellent suggestions for dining spots and was a pleasure to speak with Breakfast was served each morning in the dining area and we enjoyed the food There was a selection of either a hot breakfast or yogurt with various accompaniments such as granola and nuts or cold cereal with berries In summary, we won’t hesitate to stay at The Eagle Inn again when we spend some time in beautiful Santa Barbara

KJ

We had a lovely room on the second floor in the front We were so surprised to have a sunrise and enjoyed the complimentary delivered breakfast on the balcony in the warm January sunshine The room was large and clean and included a big tub with jets

The hotel is conveniently located to the beach, State Street and the funk zone The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the woman at the front desk upon check-in with recommendations for restaurants and other areas of interest We enjoyed our stay in Santa Barbara and the Eagle Inn was the ideal spot for us

This was a wonderful, quiet getaway The grounds were beautiful and remote, and the staff were very helpful and kind We enjoyed the layout of cottages of 2 or more rooms, and the rooms felt very private due to the layout

The views were gorgeous, and the beds were very comfortable The breakfast patio and pink moment patios were lovely!

Mike

This is the cutest little retreat you can ask for in Ojai The rooms are dispersed among cottage like structures, so you aren’t on top of each other The amenities are great given the age and remoteness of the property

The views are SPECTACULAR and the owners are such sweethearts We loved doing yoga in the waterfall garden in the morning and watching the Pink Moment from the dedicated terrace It’s nice and quiet and cozy and romantic For the price we paid, this place was a home run

I was not able to spend the two nights I booked here due to a nasty respiratory infection Currently waiting for my covid test results from a PCR, so can’t definitely say it isn’t covid Yes, they are clear about their cancellation policy online, but quite frankly, it’s extremely punitive and puts other guests at risk during COVID times

I called two days before my booking to say I was unwell and asked if I could get a credit Even a discounted credit would have sufficed Absolutely not under any circumstances unless you cancel during the five day window The office manager was kind towards me, but was also encouraging me to come up despite being sick I told her that their policies were both unfair to patrons and put others at risk if they were encouraging actively sick people to come up They book two weeks out and are constantly full, so I have a hard time believing that giving someone some sort of credit due to illness or emergency would really make their business suffer I however, lost 365 dollars (I am a freelance creative and making very little money at the moment), so this was a big loss for me I had to call them multiple times over the two days to see if they’d managed to rent out my room Only if they manage to rent it out to someone else will they refund you anything I will not be going back there due to this experience Honestly, if they had just given me a credit, even partial, I would have had a positive feeling about this place and would have simple rebooked when well
