Cute room Old historic building, clean and in old charming downtown part of Centralia Restaurant there was surprisingly good

However this is a fair warning that the train going by is very loud and it comes by every hour even throughout the night I barely slept They do provide earplugs but I’ve never been able to wear them without feeling like I’m underwater

Definitely an interesting accommodation arrangement It is in a century-old structure that was initially meant for the Elks club in the 1920s, then converted into a mall, and now a ballroom + accommodation space The 3rd floor accommodations share a common bathroom and common toilet, so it’s something to keep in mind, though we didn’t run into issues with accessing either facilities

Each room has its own sink, so toothbrushing and getting ready in privacy is still very feasibleEverything is clean and retains the look and feel of the period, so it’s definitely a worthwhile experienceThe one-star ding is due to its proximity to the railroad and the cargo trains seem to run throughout the night (with train horns and everything), thankfully earplugs are provided to each room to make take the edge off

Our wedding at the Centralia Grand Ballroom and Hotel was absolutely fantastic The venue is so beautiful and Neil and Jodi were great hosts Its also really nice having the option to rent rooms right at your venue

It made setting up and getting ready so much less stressful and was a lot of fun! The value for your money is amazing We had such a wonderful weekend and will never forget our time there Can’t wait until we can go back and stay at the hotel again We highly recommend

Very clean and modern looking hotel Rooms were large and comfortable AC worked great

No ice machine on the 2nd floor that I could find, but that was a minor inconvenience, but inconsequential in my opinion I worry more about cleanliness and comfort Check in was easy and checkout was a simple key drop Breakfast was good with a lot of options to choose from

This is ABSOLUTELY the best hotel for Washington adventures It’s strategically right next to I-5 From here I made it to Cape Flattery, Helens, Rainier, Walla Walla, and Cape disappointment / Astoria with basically no issues

If you stay in Tacoma / Olympia / Seattle there has got to be the morning rush hour to contend with Not here!Second: the room Awesome room! I stayed 5 nights Room service was awesome The front desk people were all really nice The pool was open, however I was too busy to use it I guess the only issue was with the shower, but it was such a small problem that it’s not really worth mentioning further My room came with a couch and a desk

I stayed here once in June 2018 and it was a great experience for me and my children Everyone was super nice and helpful! I have never done an online booking for a hotel so I called to see if I could make a reservation over the phone for next month and pay as well I spoke with Brooklyn today and her customer service was outstanding! With my permission, she made my online booking reservation for me (I tend to mess stuff like that up so I was not comfortable doing it and thats why I called to do it over the phone) She was so helpful and got my 2 night visit booked for next month for my kids birthday parties! In my experience most motels would not do that for you

She really went above and beyond today to help me! Thank you Brooklyn!!

Stayed and played on a Sunday night Great selection of slots in both the smoking and non-smoking section We had very good drink service on the casino floor and well highballs were only $3

75Limited restaurant options, but very good value especially if you use your points for foodThe room stay brought this review down a star, contrary to another reviewer, we did not like our bed at all The mattress was too soft and the bedding was too light for us We could have used another blanket Other than that, the room and bathroom were beautiful, clean and I liked the vanity, toilet, shower stall layout Fridge, microwave and coffee maker are always appreciated

Amanda Thompson

Good selection of slot machines including an above average mix of new games/ machines in my opinion Staff is always very nice, polite, helpful, and accommodating as possible I love the new parking garage

Just wish they had valet and the main casino floor was open 24/7 on weekends if not all week I hope they plan on opening the buffet again!!I LOVED the buffet they had and REALLY MISS EATING there!!

Ladonna Newbury

A bit long winded but honest review We decided to take our kids here to celebrate our 21 year old son’s birthday Our plan was to take both kids, 19 and 21, to a great dinner and some fun

we booked a suite for the night The room was beautiful and did not disappoint We were thrilled to find out they had machines that my 19 year old could play too! However, dinner 1 restaurant was open for the entire casino and the hotel guests too That restaurant was located in the casino so my daughter couldn’t go We had to get the pizza and burgers to go We really wanted a nice dinner This restaurant had steaks and looked delicious We couldn’t eat there with 1 of us being under age Highly disappointed in the food options It took a good 20 minutes standing in line to order, and another 20 minutes for the food to be done And another 20 minutes of standing in line to pick it upIf I had known this was the case, we would have found a different place to go

My husband and I went to see Top Gun tonight It was honestly the best date night experience we’ve ever had The atmosphere is so fun! The fact that you can sit on a couch, eat your dinner, drink a fun adult beverage, AND watch a movie

So amazing! We had so much fun and we will be back a million times We are definitely getting a passport too!!!

Samantha Long

This place definitely has atmosphere! A lot of time and effort was put into restoring the interior to reflect the original, early 1900s, feel of this building including several potbelly wood stoves throughout the building to keep the place warm and provide atmosphere in the colder monthsThere are two separate bars connected through a hallway The larger side of the building has a gift shop at the entrance, then a large bar with a broad selection of beverages and a dinning area with tables where you can order food from the restaurant

There is also a large game room with many pool tables, two large shuffleboard tables, a few pinball machines and additional seatingThe smaller side of the building has a small bar and in the back a small theater The small bar is very intimate and cozy but there is a good selection of high quality liquors (read: spendy) and the bartender is very knowledgeable I haven’t gotten a chance to experience the theater yet but look forward to in the futureThere are also rooms for rent in the upper floors that I have yet to see in-person, but if they are anything like the ground floor, I’m sure they won’t disappoint! As a bonus note for the ladies: if you do nothing else but visit the Ladies room in this place you won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I stayed two nights in an upstairs king room I knew that the room didn’t have a private bathroom but reserved anyway We were very pleased with the stay

The king was clean Bathrooms clean You get robs for going to/from the bathroom Never had to wait for the bathroom Our king room was above the theater Lots of bass booming through the floor however, the movie was done by 10pm So no problems Staff very friendly Food delicious I would recommend this place and I plan to try some of the other McMenamins hotel/theater/pubs in the future

A nice hotel hitting the halfway mark between my home and ocean shores Beautiful and modern, well sized queen beds in the room, clean, comfy Pool hours from 6am to 11pm were amazing since that’s all my kids wanted to do

Pool is small though but luckily the rotation of people was at a minimum Free breakfast every morning was also good Nice variety of hot and cold items Most of the staff were very friendly and sweet to me and my 2 little girls! Would definitely love to come back again!

Ellen Gish

My car and several other cars broken into last night The hotel doesn’t care and the Chehalis Tribal Police won’t investigate They said “turn into your insurance

” Do people not understand I and everyone is paying higher rates for insurance Not to mention who wants to visit a place that does not enforce safety Seems like they are not only encouraging criminal behavior but have a welcome mat out I would avoid especially people with kids seems unsafe and the clerk shrugging her shoulders

We had a one night stay in a One King Jetted Tub roomThe room, as well as the property itself, are showing wear Everything still seems to be clean, which is nice, and the service was good, but this place could use a few updates to the interior

It doesn’t just look outdated, but also worn outThe room itself was very roomy but also, kind of roomy for no reason (?) I wish they took some of that space to make a larger bathroom, as it felt a bit small (can’t get in the shower without opening and closing the bathroom door)Otherwise, we were pleasantly surprised with how much use we got out of the tub and the overall amount of amenities in the roomWe tried for the pool, but at 9PM it was full (I counted easily 20+ people of which over half were kids) and it closes at 10, so we passed I’d say don’t count on the pool being empty during peak seasonThe free breakfast was nice too I’d say there’s value right therePlenty of parking to go around, and walking distance from a few local spots where you could grab food\drinks It’s also right off the highway, but doesn’t seem to be noisy, which is really niceOverall, if I needed a place to stay in Chehalis, I’d likely stay here again, but I won’t be coming back for any other reason

We had a block of rooms for a weekend weddingThe hotel was in a perfect location… it was clean, comfortable, well appointedThe staff was AWESOME in every way

Special shout out to Jessica who helped coordinate everything, INCLUDING hotel shuttle for wedding guests to and from the wedding venue, AND letting us use a banquet room for breakfast the next morning for family and friends to be able to say their good-byes before everyone went back to their respective homes across the USI couldn’t be happier with this hotel AND staff!Thank you!Bonnie

Alana Dusan

Clean and comfortable rooms with an AWESOME complimentary breakfast Gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because with earplugs, I heard every train that went by which came by more than once an hour

all day and NIGHT! I would maybe stay again if I could be on opposite side of the train tracks I heard that wasn’t as bad We had 40 people in our group and we all heard it

In our humble Motorhome trailing a humbler Suzuki we have traveled, in Canada from Coast to Coast to Coast In America, from Seattle to Maine We’ve stayed in some pretty scary RV parks and some pretty nice ones

The best to date is Midway RV in Washington State Immaculate facilities, quite setting, all amenities included at a very reasonable price and lots more, are why this place rates so highly Oh, and the on property restaurant puts Midway RV off the charts Good on these guys!

Stephanie Corbin

This is a great place! Despite being in a somewhat industrial-looking area, once you’re in the park it’s an oasis Long, level concrete pull-thru sites are totally convenient for in and out, although they also have back-in sites Grass between sites is nicely maintained, and there are some trees and other landscaping

Best thing, though, is the staff We called VERY last minute for 2 sites for 2 nites, and were told one would have to change sites for the 2nd nite We said we weren’t really wanting to do that, and thanked them for checking Not 5 minutes later, we got a call back saying they’d “worked some magic” to make it possible with no one needing to move Great customer service goes a long way these days, and they’ve surely got that going for them at this place! Kudos and thank you!

Andrew Lagravinese

Second time staying here Not much has changed Still very neat and tidy and well maintained

Still a mixture of full timers (they say they have a waiting list of 40 people for the full time sites) and transient folks Small rv store on site Restaurant right around the corner open 6 am-2 pm Propane on site Wi-Fi coverage seems reasonable (they use Tengonet)Cable at our site was terrible Started out hooked up to inlet in service bay of RV No joy Front desk guy tried to tell me it was something in my rig He came out with a tv and showed me it was ok Hooked cable up direct to tv, same issue Came home and hooked up cable and it was crystal clear Either they had a weak signal or something else was not right with the connectionDick’s Brewing 2 blocks down the street Outlet stores about 15 miles away

The room amenities were nice, in fact it was probably my favorite part We enjoyed that you could experience the park for two days with one over night stay However, it was very crowded and could do with some maintenance/updating

All the staff was friendly, the kids had a blast We ended up buying the pup pass which turned out to be a great deal We also did the breakfast package and that was a good value tooMy only issue really was that nothing opened until 8:30/9:00 We just hadn’t planned on that and really felt like for our earlier rising family it out a damper on our funAfter looking at further reviews it seems the week day is a better value and more fun

Lavender Clouds

Went with family for 1 night and 2 days, the water park was amazing! So many things to do for any age, young or old The slide rides were a lot of fun The hotel rooms were spacious and we had 8 people with us and it didn’t feel crowded in the hotel

Although the breakfast was expensive, the food was delicious I would highly recommend this place, it was really outstanding! The staff are kind as well And the kids had a blast and I did also I will be coming back in the future!

James Golder

This was my first time to Great Wolf Lodge Let me just say it was amazing! I came by myself with my 3 year old The resort was fantastic

The check-in process was easy The room was ready early and looked great We walked the grounds prior to hitting the fun stuff just to see what was there The layout was easy to navigate The front entryway was phenomenal The kid activities that were set up in the front area were fun and my son had a blast The employees putting on the meet-and-greet, yoga, and all the other activities were fantastic and engaging They seemed interested in having the kids there I would come here every year and plan too it was so much fun So this is all the good stuff, on to the lesserI am a little disappointed with some of the staff I had never been here before But not a single staff member asked me if I had, every person I met worked with me under the assumption I knew what I was doing, even though I did not I did not know I used my band to check out towels I did not know my son needed a separate wrist band based on height I did not know the towel was tied to my room and if not returned would end in a $15 charge, which I unfortunately got I did stand at the entrance for the wood fired pizza restaurant for about 4 or 5 minutes and no one came to seat me, I eventually left and got food off the groundsI will say that we spent the majority of our time in the waterpark area In the little kid section my child could do everything with no issues at all My child really wanted to do the slides that were under the big bucket I got up there only to find I could not ride with him, which makes total sense What I didn’t know was that the people running the slides would “catch” him at the bottom As one parent, I cannot be at the bottom waiting for him and at the top getting him on the ride When the lifeguard said they could catch him that opened up the slides to him, he would go first and I would follow up If this is a normal policy, great If this is not a normal policy, it should beUPDATE – their aquatics director reached out to me and let me know that this “catch” is not a policy that they have in place and the reasons for such, which make sense My recommendation would be try to come with two adults if possible
