By far the cleanest hotel in the area I stayed at all the new hotels in the area that have opened in the past few years and this is the only hotel that is consistently clean! Everytime I stay at a hotel, I clean right when I get in especially during covid time That’s how I can tell this place is clean

That’s most important to me vs the amenities because I stay in the room most of the time when I’m at the hotel The gym is nice as well The pool is small, but we don’t go there for that Breakfast is pre packaged breakfast sandwiches, cereal, oatmeal etc The workers, from front desk to house keeping are always pleasant here The rooms are spacious if you get the suite rooms I like that there are 2 tvs in case someone wants to watch something else The area is safe as it’s right next to CHP and it’s close to Ontario Mills and all the other shopping This is my go to hotel and will continue going back here

Door to back parking is still broken from last stay Been broken for 5 weeks that I know of Front parking jammed since door broken in back

Breakfast is frozen plastic wrapped food and put in heated storage containers Coffee pots have been empty at timed and full of grounds in my cup when I get some Only one coffee in room and one coffee condiments in room Had to go down for a cup of grounds for a 2nd cup

Brook Scheisse

My room was left unlocked and the door was ajar when I got back from workThe front desk didn’t believe me, and did nothingRoom service left dirty coffee filters in my coffee maker

They only clean every other day and only put one caffinated coffee in the room When I asked the front desk at check in they said there were 2

The room was adequate, but the building needs some renovations Elevator didn’t work, the gym was really hot Room was stuffy

Some portions of the hotel need some loveHowever, the staff was super friendly and nice John was incredibly helpful

Cyndi “Cyn” Carpluk

Great place Awesome breakfast Service was amazing until the check out

Lost one star for only having one person on the desk at 11:30 on Sunday, when check out is noon They had a team in house as well Line was backed up to the door They specifically request that guests bring the card key back to the desk when checking out so less inclined to leave in room and take offBy grace of God, my husband and I did not have anywhere to be so we could wait Another person finally came out after about 10 minutesSomeone may have called out but it seemed like poor staff planning

Definitely run down and old Will not be staying here again While the rooms were decently cleaned, ie, clean towels and linens, there were cobwebs in corners and looked like termites in the room

I killed a few termites in the bathroomThe hotel is in need of some updating Overpriced for the location and the condition of the rooms The toilet was sketchy and didn’t always flush immediately Sometimes it would fill with water so slowly I thought it might be broken on multiple occasionsThe staff wasn’t super friendly but they did let me check in early, I felt like I was an inconvenience for asking Early check in was a $40 charge Which I’ve never been charged at any other hotels when I’ve requested early check inI’d recommend the Doubletree hotel across the street The rooms are cleaner and overall a better experience for around the same price

So, this hotel has the potential to be fabulous, so I will start out with the best, and then the worst: The rooms are large, love the layout, separate seating area and the jetted tub I spent the entire day in the airport due to a missed connection, so all I wanted to do was just into the jetted tub, followed by a good nights’ sleepUpon entering the hallway to my room, I noticed a smell, somewhat like an old building or old carpet

When I entered my room which was almost at midnight, I checked the entire room and found that the jetted tub had a very large area where the paint was peeling, I mean literally missing from the tub surface (appeared to be where it was resurfaced, without being prepped so the resurfacing did not stick) Also, there was no phone to call the front desk, so I had to walk back up to the desk The desk gave me another room to look at, the tub was better so I moved to a different roomThe tub in the next room was better; the lamp next to the bed was plugged in, but didn’t work due to a blown bulb; there was an ironing board but no iron in the closet; the toilet seat was so loose that I have not checked it before sitting down, I very easily could have fallen off because it literally slid all the way to side All it took was for the screws underneath to be tightened and for let’s say a more elderly person, this could have been very dangerous, I just tightened it myself I think the most disturbing was a very large stain on the comforter that I didn’t notice until morning because I was exhausted from the long travel, so that had to be changed as wellI will say that in each instance when I brought these things to the attention of the hotel staff, they were rectified immediately so the staff is responsive It just felt like when someone invites you maybe to a holiday dinner, you show up and when they open the door, the look on their face was as if they forgot the invited you? You are still welcomed in, but it is clear that they were not expecting you, and that is not the feeling I would like to get when I check into a hotel, especially when the room is guaranteed for arrival I even contacted the hotel via email when I missed my connecting flight to inform them that it would be closed to midnight when I arriveAgain, it just appeared that the room that I was put into was not quite ready for a guest

Trae Fauntleroy

We enjoyed our stay here although it was just for one day I will have to come again to give a true rating but we were pretty much pleased with the services Didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the hot breakfast so I can’t give any feedback on that

I would recommend to stay for a hotel especially if it’s just one day and you want to be close to the airport

Heather Averett

My “non-smoking” room stunk of cigarettes! When I complained to the front desk they told me they could spray something to get rid of the smell, they never did Stains on the carpet in the rooms and in the halls! My garbage can was full when I checked in! Black mold on the caulking in the shower The toilet would work once and then I had to ask for the staff to come and plunge it! It took 30 minutes for them to come and do it if they came at all

It was this way the entire time I was there! Finally at 10:30 the night before I checked out they got me a new room It had a hole in the wall someone had shoved toilet paper in to hide Worst stay EVER! The one and ONLY good thing about this hotel is the convince of it being steps away from the convention center!

This was my first time visiting Pomona and this hotel was great Easy check in, free cookie( my sister said it was delicious), clean room, close enough to downtown Pomona I would definitely stay here again

The only thing I would suggest to you is to download the Hilton honors app before arriving and making a profile because you will use that as your key

Mary Shaw

Booked a block of rooms for our son’s wedding this weekend The rooms were spacious and well maintained Front desk clerk, Chris, was the best part of the stay because he was helpful with our needs and requests

Restaurant has tasty food but closes way to early Only downsides were the main elevator not working and the property needing a bit of a make-over

Jessica Perry

While it will always be known as the Shiloh Inn to me, this Double Tree is much nicer than I had anticipated We booked it because of its proximity to our family and because it’s a Hilton property Knowing the area, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were and even though we were near the restaurant which was booked with parties both nights of our stay, the room was quiet and comfortable

Since we are former locals who still have family in the area, we will absolutely stay here again when we’re in town

We tried to cancel our reservation over a month before our stay–not once, this was an ongoing process between the end of September and the beginning of November, which is when we got married We couldn’t get through to the third party we had apparently reserved through(the one time I did I was hung up on when I told them I wanted to cancel), and the hotel said they couldn’t do anything So I guess don’treserve here/ through wedding wire unless you’re absolutely sure you want to stay here, because you aren’t getting your money back

Lauren R.

This hotel is located right in the middle of Claremont Village; perfect walking distance to restaurants and shops, and the Ontario Airport The grounds and rooms are really well maintained, along with great amenities

Easy and pleasant check in, breakfast and any extra accommodations were included which was a nice surprise to me (free parking pass included) Great happy hour and the staff was so incredibly helpful Only downside to my room was the the faucet on the tub dripped even though it was turned off and you can hear the train from the room, but other than that my stay was very pleasant and I can’t wait to come back for another stay

Samuel

Overall my stay was fine and lounge was nice and then check out day came Here’s my experience I was walking half my stuff down to the parking garage, this is at 9:20am, reparked my car and headed back to my room to get the rest of my belongings

I told reception I’m not checking out and I had more trips I arrive at my room on the 3rd floor and my room was open and all my belongings were gone, I was gone for less than 10 minutes and check out is 11am The cleaning lady was on the other side 50ft away and I said excuse me I’m not checked out and my stuff is missing, she had packed my stuff nicely in her cart and had taken my belongings I was absolutely shocked and have zero trust of this establishment after this experience I reported it to the front desk and they checked that my room was not marked for check out cleaning and that they would make a note of this That is absolutely unacceptable I will never stay at a casa 425 hotel again, I warn anyone staying there to protect your belongings and think about staying somewhere else Rooms are only supposed to be accessed by your request or after check out only because of covid

We stayed in a suite, the same suite twice actually It was very cute and accommodating with size The staff was excellent

They even went out of their way to make sure we would have breakfast in the morning, because we had to leave before breakfast was served My only complaints were, the roadway noise was much, and in our second stay (5 days later) we arrived in the suite to find that the bathroom had not been cleaned properly, and had a used wash cloth hanging from the showerhead

Trish Orizaga-Brocks

The maids rarely came to do the rooms or pick up garbage I had to ask for fresh towels several times during our two week stay One maid was watching tv in one of the empty rooms

The exterior/ pool area was well maintained However the desk did not have many of the amenities one would expect for such a pricey hotel Also breakfast stops at 9 sharp 😢

TLDR: BUGS!! This hotel was a headache from the beginning It took a dozen emails and several phone calls just to get the reservation booked and confirmed and then when we arrived, they still didn’t have the reservation correct I booked 4 rooms for my bridal party the night before our wedding, and it was a disaster

Every room was filled with bugs It’s as if they were closed for the pandemic and never cleaned the rooms There were bugs in the bed, in the bath, on the walls, in the curtains, on the floor, and weird stains and little pieces of grass in the sheets One of the rooms was 90 degrees We had to get a refund and relocate in the middle of the night Don’t stay here

Stayed here with my son for a weekend He’s really big on staying at nice hotels and giving me his feedback on what he liked and doesn’t like at every place we’ve checked in to He gave this place an 8 out of 10

The room was nice but not sure how often they clean the carpet I had to wipe my feet off with a washcloth from time to time as they would get dirty walking barefoot in the room Bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked wonderfully There were some areas throughout the hotel that needed some TLC but overall the place was nice All staff members I came in contact with were awesome, super nice and very accommodating which to me is very important

Jason L

This place has really gone downhill the last couple years Stains on the floor and the curtains The outside of the hotel isn’t kept up at all

Weeds growing out of the pavement and debris everywhere Towels and linens are old and wornOur room keys were deactivated early so we got locked out of our room and had to make a trip to the front deskHousekeeping had to be requested at the front desk We requested after our first and second nights but they never came Had to ask for towels every night because of this as the pile of dirty towels in our bathroom grew and grew because of no housekeepingOn the bright side the bed was OK and it is a quiet location with the window closed

Ruben Hilario

I love this place especially on the 9amd tenth floors they have the jumbo rooms with the double doors super fancy There staff is not the greatest and somehow thex always manage to screw with the deposit The hotel itself is a diamond in the rough

Priced very fairly They have a bar and restaurant as well with decent food A bit over priced Beds are nice and soft pillows are great overall its a 8 of 10 Great pool and hot tub

Incredible customer service! Room was very spacious, nice and CLEAN! Hotel is in a great location near restaurants and the mall I utilized the meeting space and it was great The staff really made it a point for all items surrounding my event to go perfectly

I ordered coffee, danishes and water in the am and it was set-up ahead of schedule Linens placed on tables and room set-up was ideal The hotel manager absolutely instills a great sense of customer service in all her employeesit shows! Everyone could have been misconstrued as the managerthey were excellent I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone for a nice stay Oh, and the van ride to and from the airport was well done as well Top Notch!

melyssa

First time staying at the Suites (usually stay next door at the other Ayres) for BMW training and I will always choose the Suites from now on The rooms are spacious and clean, the only thing that seemed outdated was the shower tiles but the whole hotel has a rustic/vintage vibe so if that isn’t your thing you may not be into it I am definitely into it

Overall cozy feel, the beds are the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever experienced and I have insomnia so that’s saying something if I actually sleep somewhereI loved the breakfast The cook is so sweet and even remembered my name after cooking for me daily Also the food is good and comforting! My favorite was the french toast and muffinsLastly, my favorite thing is the outdoor courtyard by the pool I’m a big fan of plants and they take good care of the roses and succulents here Very peaceful and lovely! I’ll try to update with some photos laterOverall lovely stay, feels like home but better

Ann Chavez

We truly had a wonderful stay at Ayres Suites in Ontario, CA The hotel was very clean and all of the staff were nice and professional at all times The pool and hot tub were nice and not too crowded

Breakfast was great! It was a pleasant surprise to have a hot meal available each morning My Mother was celebrating her 83 Birthday and we had visitors come to see her who were traveling to Floridia the next day We were able to sit and visit with them on the patio and then moved inside to the beautiful lobby for a little while It was like being at home and visiting with friends, so comfortable and cozy I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others Thank you for providing us with a nice hotel experience

The rooms need to be remodeled Bathroom tub is horrible Mattresses on beds could be much better

I shouldn’t hear the toilet being flushed over my head The doors to the washroom need to be changed I can see right through the door when it is closed, that’s not privacy The shower head sprays in ALL directions too The people that work here were nice though

After arriving at 2 am on Sunday after evacuating our home in Wrightwood due to the sheep wildfire, the six of us were stressed and exhausted Kathy on the main desk was fantastic She was quick to find us and our three dogs rooms

Her kindness and professionalism was just what we needed The rooms were great and I would highly recommend this hotel and it’s staff!!

This hotel is conveniently close to Ontario Airport (ONT) The rooms are still being cleaned on the modified COVID-19 schedule, although the room was freshly cleaned prior to my arrivalThe front desk staff was professional at most times, but in early hours were often on their cellphones

This should be done out of sight I feel The breakfast was light but fresh

This would have been an easy 4, maybe a 45 I was truly impressed with the professionalism of the staff, and the value for the money

It had everything I expect of an extended stay hotel in it’s class Unfortunately, the bed was undersized, even for a “hotel queen”, and miserably hard It did have a mattress pad, but that only made it a lumpier hard I didn’t sleep the first night and spent the next two on the couch Didn’t bother asking for another room, all the beds would have been the same It’s a shame, really, because it was impressed with anything else and I really wanted to like this place But a restful night’s sleep is why I’m there If I can’t get that, none of the rest of it matters

Joanna Gamboa

Stayed for a night over the weekend for some work my husband had in the area I like homewood suites hotels because of the size of the rooms included with the living room and kitchenI have an extra star because they have Very, very friendly staff and great breakfast! The elevator was a little sketch, making a lot of noise and screeches, I looked at the permit and it was last inspected in 2018!! Expired in 2019!The hallways were very warm while walking to our room

The room had kind of a musty smell to it Couch was old and uncomfortable to sit on Carpet was torn and coming up as wellEnjoyed our stay overall but this place can really use an update

Micheal Batiste

Was excited about the kitchenette and bathtub in every room as I am visiting with my daughter However, I was charged almost $1000 additional after prepaying and paying the $60 deposit when I checked in All the assistant General manager could do is blame it on the “new staff”

I am a manager myself and I would never tell a client that my staff’s mistakes were due to a lack of training

Top-notch customer service is obviously what you teach you employees and it showsSpecial shout out to the young man (i didn’t catch his name), who came out to the whirlpool and skimmed it with the net at my request on Wednesday evening (2-16-22) For one so young, he was extremely professional, efficient and courteous GREAT JOB!I travel for work and when i am in the Pomona area again, will definitely be back and will recommend to my co-workers

Great clean hotel The only issue I got is that they just recently started to charge for parking I stay here very frequently and they used to have a security guard that verify that you where a guest and let you park, now you have to park and pay 12 dollars per night for you’re stay

I usually stay 12 days a time minimum and it adds up quickly The staff is friendly and always willing to help I’m giving 4 starts due to the new parking payment

I came with 20 college students, the location was excellent for the convention center, the staff was excellent, breakfast great too Rooms are clean and comfortable and appeared to be recently Remodeled

Area is close to a lot of excellent food choices from fast food to sit down dining Plenty of parking, and a circle k right next door Freeway access right next to them, but you can see out of the windows there is a homeless encampment, so the city needs to take care of that

The hotel looked clean but it didn’t feel clean As soon as I got to my room I wiped down the restroom counter and night stands with a disinfecting wipe and it was extremely dirty The small cushion couch in there had so many mystery stains

The restroom didn’t have a working air vent, and the bathtub had hair The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows

Stayed there in Sept 2021 It’s a very dated and disgusting place I stayed 7 days, not once did the staff clean my room or took out the trash

The bathroom was falling apart, shower curtain seemed to be years old The staff never greeted me, smile at me or ask how was my stay, I’m a platinum IHG memberLet’s just say the entire building needs to be gutted and remodeledOnly good thing is it’s location Close to restaurants, shopping and the freewayI will forever avoid IHG locations in the Los Angeles area and will stick with Marriott

I showed up to check in And asked for payment This was something work was paying for

I arrived them that it should have been payed for when booked and was told that can’t happen I was confused I told him that we(our business) called ahead and asked if it could be posted for without the card present We were told either book online or submit a form for approval We booked in online Was rudely informed that it can only be done by a form When I questioned what I was told when called ahead I was told that no one ever said that to me Some lady sure did He could have been nice but he was fairly rude I turn on my ac as cold as possible at 4pm My job was an all nighter I come in at 5 and my room was hotter then outside To uncomfortable to sleep I go to the front desk to inform them and his response was oh yeah people complain about that allot The rooms on the end don’t have ac that works So I then switched rooms before bed Mind you the new room in the center of the hallway wasn’t much better Sadly I didn’t have the time to switch hotels I came into the hallway the day after I woke up it smells like a locker room The hallways were so hot they put fans in the hallway Continental breakfast Well some items they had restrictions on what you can touch(probably COVID) which was ok But they let you everyone touch half the stuff but not the others Now they have a tables dividing the room with an employee to serve you with a LARGE jar between you requesting tips Feels like they are adding COVID restrictions asking you to pay tips to cover new restrictions Feels like they are trying to keep partial restrictions to get you to give them tips

The rooms are excellent Check-in was fest and simple I’ve stayed here several times, and each time, I’ve stopped for a drink at the Starbucks:) if you’re a Starbucks-gal like I am, you’ll really appreciate having one in-house

It makes all the difference A premier steakhouse and plenty bars and food options can come handy as well:) Fresh cookies are always a nice touch as usualI guess the best thing is having everything in-house Such a convenience

I had arrived very early, and was glad I was able to be accommodated with a room right away After check in my stay went supremely down hill I excepted better customer service for being a Hilton diamond member

I arrived and to my odds my room reeked of perfume and cigarettes, after making serval complaints the hotel didn’t end up helping me until around 8/9PM that night She offered to move me to a different room, because I’m extremely allergic to the smell but it was on a completely different floor and wing I would have to pack all my stuff up (luggage/3bags) with no help and then go to it I refused to do so because it was already 9PM at night, even though I told her I was traveling with myself and had so many bags she offered no type of help whatsoever The room was absolutely disgusting and overwhelming with the smell The security then came to my room and sprayed “air freshener” which didn’t mask the smell but made it much worse I woke up with hives, and was disappointed I wasn’t offered any type of refund only a $50 voucher to use on any at the hotel Not satisfied at all Seems they care more about taking peoples money, then actually helping to resolve the issue

The hotel is nice if you are going to enjoy the hotel But really if you are going to stay for a couple of days and go out, another Hilton in the area is better I specifically requested a room with the balcony

and they gave me that little balcony It was still next to the laundry room and there was a lot of noise I didn’t really enjoy the balcony and I didn’t go out because it was uncomfortable for me that people was walking by and I was sitting there I asked twice if they could change my room and they only told me “let’s see what we can do”
