My entire stay has been so pleasant from top to bottom, but I really want to commend Jocelyn (the bartender at the 2nd floor lounge) My boss and I pretty much posted up in the lounge every evening/night over the past week to get some work done Thankfully, Jocelyn was here every night and was such a pleasure

She is incredibly attentive and friendly Even when she was swamped, she never missed a beat The food was great and served quickly and the drinks were perfect Jocelyn is the type of employee I think any establishment would be lucky to have! Will definitely be staying here for my next work trip

Eric Ellingworth

Stayed here for a 24 hour work trip I spend over 100 nights a year on the road for work and let me tell you, Joscelyn, the bartender at the AC Lounge was by far the best bartender I’ve ever had ANYWHERE I’ve stayed She was extremely attentive, took time to have genuine conversation with her customers, and even had her own personal signature cocktail menu

And let me tell you, this girl knows how to make a good drink! She had me sample a few and they were all remarkable Seriously, the best bartender I’ve had ANYWHERE She CRUSHED it I’m in Miami 3-4 times a year for work and will only be staying at AC Dadeland from now

Terrible service No one bothers to help with your things, and no bell service to take your things to your rooms either Breakfast is nice but too pricey at 24 dollars

They also charge extra if you drink more coffee Rooms are big in size and look nice, but the toilet paper feels like it is made of sand paper Great location, almost inside a mall If you want to shop in a supermarket, you have to cross a street Overall, great place if you are not going to have breakfast here and bring your own toilet paper They allow deliveries straight to your room which is great

Do not stay at this hotelIt’s the worst Hilton I have stayed at in ten years Let me start with my room

The balcony door won’t stay closed because the whole locking mechanism is rusted beyond repairNever mind, we’ll just go downstairs for dinner and a drink Nope The hotel has 508 rooms and no restaurant It’s the pandemic was the explanation No, it’s really poor management that can’t retain staff because they treat them so poorlyBut you can eat in the bar I got an $1800 Cuban sandwich that wasn’t edible I complained to the waiter, and then the bar manager who didn’t apologize or offer a replacement She shrugged and walked awayBeyond the lack of food, the hotel has jacked up the prices of drinks A glass of wine is $1700 The wine costs less than $1500 for a bottle They know you can’t go anywhere nearby and do they are happy to gouge their guestsSkip the wine and have a draft beer to beat the heat No, the draft system has been broken for 10 days now But, they explained, it’s sure to be fixed sometime soon(ish)I repeat, do not stay at this hotel

Michael Bolado

We were pleasantly surprised with what we received The staff were amazingly nice and helpful The hotel is great for the price you pay

We got to check-in early without being charged I know, it sounds like everyone should expect that but I don’t except anything more than what it states in the contract This facility went above and beyond for us I would highly recommend it and hope everyone receives the great service that we did Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable

Christine Fabbro

We made a brief overnight stay here on a Friday night before cruising It’s a beautiful hotel with a lovely pool on site It has a restaurant, convenience store, and coffee shop on site

It is also near other shopping and restaurants and very conveniently located to the airport with a free shuttle service The suite we stayed in had a lovely room and bathroom with a separate living room, television and balcony overlooking the pool The hotel is reasonably priced and staff was warm and welcoming

The hotel itself is beautifully renovated I am someone that is all about the aesthetics especially when a certain price point is reach per night The room was lovely with the spiral stairwell that adjoins a loft

Quite honestly, I feel the two could have been swapped But it’s understandable for servicing purposesYou can definitely hear conversations taking place in the hallway as well as what is going on outdoors This can be disturbing if you turn in early While scoping out the loft upstairs, I was quite surprised to see the microwave stacked on top of the small refrigerator They can do better than this Again, for the price per night, you would expect more I truly feel we were overcharged But maybe is the locale and surrounding amenities that brought about that price pointRoom 547!

Almost all reviews comment on the physical aspects of a Hotel We celebrated a wedding anniversary knowing how clean and comfortable the Colonnade is, how great the location, all of the things that everybody asks about Well this review is a little different because it is just about the people who work there

We are neither rock stars nor millionaires and do not expect special treatment But that is exactly what we received from the Parking Valets, House Keeping staff, and especially the Front Desk Reception Staff: Ross, Adriana, Hayden, Isabella, Audrey and Mia Sincerely gracious, warm, attentive, like your closest best friend are the adjectives I would use to describe them all They, and not the thread count of the bed sheets, are what makes the Colonnade a truly great place in which to stay When you meet people who are genuinely kind, attentive, and eager to please it is like winning the hotel lottery My wife and I consider ourselves winners

Kia Graham

My stay at this hotel was horrible! You have take two elevators to get to the room not to mention the parking each time you leave the hotel you have to payThey don’t clean the room on a daily basis We have to ask for clean towels

No microwave to warm food The Receptionist at the front desk , who work on 5/12 night shift came to the room door accused us about noise , when there was no noise not even the TV was onThe noise was coming from the hallway I didn’t appreciate what he did We pay for the room and was not staying there for free I have always stayed at Marriott Hotels and never had this experienceI will not stay at this Hotel in the future

Overall, for one night it was fine Cleanliness is acceptable, could be better There was dust in the room and in the shampoos (placed on the wall) there was soap left out from previous use

The phone light flickered, a message was left in the mailbox, and people could be heard talking What is happening in the hallway was heard inside the room, the doors are closed hard and it echoes inside the room Front desk service was good Stairs are horrible Parking is $20 I liked the lobby and the decoration!

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your place This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of my favorites in the area

I have been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I’m sure!Stayed here just for one night (had a very early flight from MIA) I was looking for a decent, clean, quiet place, and used the google reviews to arrive at this hotel It was decent, clean, and quiet (not much airplane noise, can’t be many flights during the night) The room came with a kitchenette, the bathroom was modern, and I slept well

olinda gatti

The hotel was nice, all clean, the beds were comfortable, the food at the restaurant was fine (it closes at 9pm Very early if you are a foreigner), the guy at the desk was helpful I would stay there again

The only complains I have is that on the website it said that there were free shuttles from the airport and there weren’t and also that the water pressure from the shower was bad

Fabulous experience Check in was super fast and the staff gave my infant son a teddy bear when we arrived The room was beautiful and immaculate

Many thoughtful details everywhere The staff were extremely attentive and kind The umbrellas were all being used when we arrived at the pool so we were given a cabana so our baby could get shade from the sun Room service was very prompt and the food is delicious The neighborhood is cool and very convenient with many shops and restaurants within walking distance We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend to others

Carolyn Alexander

This was a very nice hotel, and the neighborhood is very cute I will say, I was disappointed in my room’s view I booked a “Courtyard View” room and paid nearly $2000 for 2 nights

Upon arrival, I was given room 109 (See photo) My room was directly over a parking lot and rooftops of surrounding businesses one which was doing construction I called to be moved and was moved up to 309 same view just a little higher where I atleast could see a bit of the city The room, balcony and bathroom themselves were nice My other issue was with the breakfast bar in the lobby I ordered a muffin and Coke Zero which came out to just over $10 Service fees had been included on every check, so I asked him for change to which he responded “are you sure?” A few minutes later, I asked him just for a $5 10 minutes later, I was handed a few ones appeared to be $3, and I again asked him for a $5 bill Seemed a little shady Overall it was a nice stay, but to me those are things worth mentioning

MS T

Wedding Party staying at the hotelI personally wanted to say thank 3 Individuals that work on the rooftop in the restaurant mossimo the manager Daniel the server and Fabio the bartender if it wasn’t for them and their excellent customer service we would have left Mr C with a very unpleasant review review

Thank you for making our visit to the restaurant so pleasant it was really great

Great place to stay! The hotel is well-located, with a Publix right across the street The front desk staff is amazing – super polite, helpful and fun The room good

The beds are a bit too soft – I felt like I was sleeping over a bunch of blankets, rather than a mattress The shower did not have much water pressure, though – it felt more like a drizzle I had some noisy neighbors for one night, but other than that the room was pretty quiet Plenty of outlets to charge my gear as well – and two spacious desks Not bad at all

Crys Jack

I had the pleasure of staying here for an extended period of time and I really enjoyed it The rooms are clean and spacious, the pool is nice and quiet and the location is perfect for a drive to the beach and great meal afterwards as Miracle Mile is within a 5 min walk Veronica at the front desk was very helpful, always greeted guest with a smile and offered the best restaurant recommendations!!Had to shout her out because her dedication stood out, her positivity is radiant, shes a real asset to the company

Nowadays when you chose a place to stay you can only hope to encounter people who truly care

Steph

This hotel is fantastic It was clean, felt safe, and was located in a very convenient area just across from the publix and walking distance from many shops and restaurants we planned to visit The pool was beautiful and VERY well-kept, and both times we were up there we were the only people there

It was a wonderful place to relax The staff were prompt and helpful, although it did take a couple phone calls to reach the front desk a couple times and there didn’t seem to be anywhere to fill our water bottles? At least not that any staff was aware of Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay here and would totally come back Big shoutout to the valet staff but especially the older man who seemed to be working a 24/7 shift — he was SO kind and helpful and really made us feel special to be there!

10 minutes from the airport, centrally located The king bed room was very large but the carpet was old and worn I didn’t want to walk barefoot in there

The furniture looked cheap The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very large but the hot water was lukewarm The upside is the staff is phenomenal They give great customer service and are very attentive They handled my issues very quickly

Cory Osborne

Ended up booking this hotel after another hotel lost our reservation The front desk folks are great, very welcoming and helpful Our room was a bit yucky and could definitely use a good cleaning

Stains on the carpet, hair in the bed, overall just a bit dirty The restaurant service was completely lacking Bar was out of most everything we asked for (Captain Morgan is pretty standard for a bar) Breakfast service took over an hour (we were the only table in the whole place) and when the food came out it was all wrong It was eaten because we had a cruise to catch and it had already taken long enough Overall, a place that you can rest your head but that’s about it

Alissa Smith

My husband and I were in a bind one night and the staff at this Best Western Premier were friendly and accommodating Fair price for a last minute room on a Saturday night Room was clean, bed was comfortable

Breakfast not included, but available at reasonable price They have what looks to be a nice restaurant within the hotel, did not dine here however I wish it was open earlier and later than it’s current hours There is also a pool Water was cold, but the atmosphere was private and relaxing Would recommend Close to MIA

Gorgeous hotel and very friendly staff I stayed in the king suite and it was beautiful! Very spacious with the bedroom and seating area that can be closed off The bathroom was huge and shower was wonderful

Loved how open it looked when the bathroom curtain was up but could be closed if you wanted privacy The only complaint I would have would be the lighting in the rooms was pretty dark and I would have appreciated brighter bulbs with dimming

Tee Tyme

I booked this hotel based on the reviews and location being near the airport Karen was awesome She checked me in with over and beyond service

Friendly and quickly at that The room was just as pictured in the photos! Which was definitely a plus I understand why the bathrooms were mentioned so much Very nice Very quiet for being near the airport Bartenders and the shuttle drivers were also very attentive and friendly I will definitely stay here again Thank you for a nice hotel experience Karen and staff!

Ngozi E.

This was my first time even hearing about EB hotel— and I’m happy that I did The staff is kind and accommodating and very helpful The rooms are modern and clean, and the beds are very comfy

It’s also easy to get to with the airport shuttle Last but not least the breakfast is yummy and affordable— not so much the dinner But still it’s very convenient to have the restaurant on site I’ll be back next time I have a layover in MIA

Emily Charles

Beautiful hotel in the heart of coconut grove, just a short walk from all the restaurants and shops with so much to choose from!Good pool on a terrace on the 8th floor, breakfast was lovely and the gym looked goodStayed in one of the ‘private oasis’ apartments, and had the most beautiful view over the bay Room was a great size, had a full kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier

Only complaint is there was no cork screw for my wine! Thanks for a brilliant stay

Maria Harrington

The location and the lobby are the only positives about this hotel I stayed in one of their rooms through Air BnB The hotel is a combination of hotel rooms and privately owned properties

The lobby was attractive but had a very heavy scent of perfume Once you leave the lobby, it is clear that the rest of the hotel is totally rundown and dirty My room had a terrible odor that actually kept me up throughout the night The odor was a combination of mold and dust being covered by perfume It was just the worst experience The carpeting was also dirty as evidenced by my white socks instantly turning black The air conditioning was also loud and disruptive I checked out early and will never return It is really a shame since it is in such a great location, but I would not recommend staying there!

After the hotel we stayed at on South Beach, this was a welcomed changed Check-in was quick Our room was on the 21st floor and we had a spectacular view

And everything was nice and cleanI was a bit disappointed that their bar didn’t have non-alcoholic beer, and a bit put-off by the bartender constantly making jokes about adding alcohol to my club soda and lime I don’t drink anymore, so his remarks weren’t exactly humorous to meThe pool area and gym were very nice The pool water was warm, which was perfect for the cool and breezy evenings It’s nice to relax out there and chat the time away until they close out at 10pm And you can watch the sunset from there as well

Kevin Liba

I recently stayed at the Dadeland Marriot on a business trip I was greeted by Kate at the front desk for check in She was extremely polite and attentive

She had me checked in and on my way in a very timely manner The next day I ran into Kate again because I needed a new key and she asked how I was enjoying my stay and if there was any I need to not hesitate to ask I had dinner at the hotel 3 nights while I was there The bartender Steve was great Must try his old fashioned I can honestly say that both Kate and Steve are all about customer service and ensuring the guest have a memorable experience at the hotel I will definitely be coming back

Villa

The most disgusting outdated room I’ve ever stayed in There was bodily fluids stains on the couch which looked about 30 years old Holes in the curtains, mold and bacteria in the bathroom and just a real horrible feeling to even being in the room

The manager who I forget her name was a lady and was so rude when I complained She said that even she wouldn’t pay the price the room costs but yet wouldn’t do anything about it The room really should be investigated as it was totally unhygienic and make me feel sick I would recommend to people staying in this area to go the the Marriott inside dadeland mall The rooms are modern and the staff are lovely This hotel is a complete dump and be warned if you are booking online You may end up having a holiday in a room that makes your skin crawl If management wants to get in touch I would love to forward you the pictures of the mold and bacteria in the air vents and the fluid stains on the sofa There should be some type of investigation into the conditions I was not the only one complaining, I heard many other saying the same!!!!!!

The customer service at this hotel is very poor I am a Marriott Ambassador and I use Marriott hotels for business and personal travel I booked a room for my employees and they were not allowed to stay at this hotel

On several occasions I book hotels and sign a document allow them to use my credit card for all charges and never had a problem My employees were treated very poorly and told they could not stay there I attempt to discuss with the manager over the phone and was told no they would not help I sent them to a Hampton inn (Hilton Brand ) and they were welcomed and taken care of Management here needs retraining on hospitality!

Brittany T

I stayed at the Marriott a couple weeks ago and paid $25 a day for valet parking, which was a spot in the metropolis parking garage My car got broken into and my airbags were stolen Both Marriott & Metropolis refused to pay for the damage even though it was kept in their parking garage

Nobody would own up to it and kept passing the buck This is SUPPOSED to be a secure garage since it has cameras and only residents have assess What am I paying for if my car isn’t even safe? Be aware and do not stay here I’ve stayed at several Marriott’s and have never had an issue until here

Wow! What a beautiful hotel It was very nice and clean Very modern and contemporary feel

The pool is amazing in the back The staff is so pleasant and will help you at all hours of the night The airport is minutes away, close to all gas stations and all amenities A special thank you to Juan the GM Excellent experience and my family and I will be back for sure!

Nhi D

The stay was good for the most part We were out most of the day so we basically just came back to the hotel to change or sleep The pool didn’t seem as clean as I would’ve expected and some of my friends felt that it was salty? We were missing a hair dryer, but that probably could’ve been fixed by going up front to ask for one

Free breakfast was nice The hotel is very close to the airport so that made our early flight out a lot easier With traffic, the beach/downtown areas were about 40 mins Oh and parking is $2000 PER night so definitely keep that in mind! Overall this hotel was good, and i would consider to stay here again

We’d stayed at an Element in Utah, and the experience there had me very excited to try the Element in Miami I can only conclude from other reviews that this hotel exists in two dimensions Unfortunately, we ended up in the darkest timeline

“OK“ is a generous review for the alternate dimension in which we ended up It was late at night when we arrived Even later than it should have been with the very late shuttle – it’s apparent now the other dimension gets the on-time shuttle The room layout was great, the bed semi-comfortable, and a local overpriced, under-whelming pizza joint delivered At 11 pm, that was important It was also the best part of our stay The first room we were given was dirty Towels stuffed into the rack behind the door, dirty counters, hair, and dust all over the floor dirty The hotel moved us ThankfullyThe second room was cleaner than the first but not much cleaner In the darkest timeline, the hotel looks old inside and out, and the staff is tired So very tired The pandemic has hit double hard in this alternate dimension I was scared we’d hit this dimension on our return stay, so I quickly changed my reservation to the Residence Inn, where we had a great stay To those considering a stay at this Element, may be odds be ever in your favor

Superb experience in a beautiful historic property! We drove out here for the Sunday Brunch while staying in Miami Beach last year, and were so impressed with it then that we decided to stay here this year for one night following our flight out before we drove down to the KeysWe took a red-eye flight out and arrived at the hotel around 7:45am, fully intending to just check our bags at the front desk and wander around until our cabana became available at 10am You can imagine our surprise when at 7:45am, they told us they had a room ready and we could actually check in! After little sleep on the overnight flight, it was so amazing to be able to go straight to our junior suite and lay down for a couple hours before going to the pool

The cabana experience was also very enjoyable The price was extremely reasonable (about half the cost of the average cabana in Miami Beach), and our attendant (unfortunately I don’t remember his name) was very courteous and checked on us often without being obtrusive By afternoon it had warmed up enough to go in the pool, which is gigantic and beautiful Even if a lot of other people are there, it doesn’t feel crowded thanks to it’s sheer size Also love the grand lobby area (and the mini aviary with the little finches was a delight for this bird enthusiast!)Overall we had an amazing timewish we would have spent more time here and less in the Keys Thank you to all staff who made our stay memorable!

Really great experience at Thesis for a family wedding! Clean, comfortable rooms with accommodating and friendly staff The restaurant is excellent and so is the service I only gave this 4/5 stars because the pool area wasn’t super comfortable – it’s completely shaded in the afternoon and located on the 3rd floor amid a total wind tunnel

Vipanj Patel

Highly recommend this hotel Very clean, the restaurants are fantastic and the amenities are very nice The pool and outdoor area on the 3rd floor, along the the live band, are great for hanging out and having drinks

The 2 restaurants are world class, with unique and tasty dishes and a nice bar Definitely stay here if you get a chance!

UM, August parent price gouging rates are $500+ per night (because UM starts) plus $35 to park in the next-door structure After parking, the way back to the hotel lobby is not marked at all, so it takes a while to learn the tricky walking route back to the hotel They charge for the Continental breakfast and $3

50 for lobby coffee They are very tight with the towels The card keys for the elevators do not work correctly, and two hands are often needed The elevators are slow for a 2021 buildingI had difficulty sleeping because all the rooms have very loud individual AC units inside We turned ours off at night but could still hear the truck-like AC noise from the room next to us all night long, on and off and on All the rooms have a very odd large picture of 5-girls white bathing suited bums out with their heads into white flowering oleander bushes This was strangeThe shower handle is very sharp and sticks out too far inside and outside the shower, so you might hit it with your elbow or arm, which hurts very badly The bed frame corners are also very sharp, so you will bruise or cut your leg going to the bathroom in the dark The chemical fragrance blasted in the hallways every day is intense and not necessary The windows are screwed shut, and no balconies Other than all that, it was good

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any room They compare countless hotel sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area

I’ve been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you won’t regret itA 20 something year old hotel with open spaces and water features this property is large, clean, and relaxing The room was perfect for our 1st night after our long plane ride It was comfortable and quiet I hardly ever heard another person and we arrived in the middle of spring break We will come again if we travel this way again

Hotel staff is super friendly and helpful Efficient in cleaning the rooms and help at the conference rooms as well The room although great and clean, had a weird layout in the bathroom making the shower stall very small, and the height of the shower very low

The location is great Walking distance from the mais street in the grove Lots of things to do around and close to the water front too

Channa Borman

Beautifully appointed rooms, elegant lobby, delicious food at the restaurant, great service from front desk staff But maybe most fun feature was the hospitality of the bellman Steven who gave us great restaurant recommendations when he took our luggage to the room and was hilarious in his descriptions of the options Great choice

Can’t go wrong here

We absolutely loved staying here The Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables graciously upgraded us to a suite so we could have a separate area for our son’s crib The room was lovely, very clean, lots of bright, natural sunlight from the windows and roomy

It is an older building that was renovated, so one evening our neighbors were being very loud So the sound-proofing isn’t perfect However, when we called to complain about the noise to the front desk, they must have promptly addressed it, because the neighbors quieted down soon after The pool area is wonderful There were plenty of loungers and places to sit, both in the shade and sun We spent several hours on the pool deck with our infant son without any issues of sun exposure The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Coral Gables, which provided a lot of great dining options The hotel dining options are quite pricy, however It cost me almost $6 for a 12-ounce iced coffee, whereas the next day I walked 3 miles to a Starbucks and paid $450 for a large iced coffee The lobby and overall ambiance is great We can’t wait to stay here again!

We had 96 rooms and 3 functions at his property related to my daughters wedding, which was at a country club dues to capacity constraints there The staff who interacted with me during the booking process were fantastic They were customer focused, flexible and a pleasure to work with

The other staff from front desk to valet (outside company) were all greatThe property itself was nice, with a warm and welcoming ambience It needs some upgrades,- including a new elevator which I am told they are working on replacing

Caroline Fernandez

Very clean, very beautiful hotel The front desk is very kind and helpful I highly recommend asking for the map of the food in the area because it’s excellent

My only recommendation is to add hours to the map, but that’s me just being picky The front desk was accommodating when we needed to move rooms due to noisy neighbors Also, the cucumber water and cafecito in the lobby is key Anyway, the rooms are roomy and the beds are comfy And you’re so close to many of the eateries in Coral Gables If you need to stay in the area, this is a beautiful option
