My 5 stars are based on the cleanliness of the rooms and the stellar service! I arrived with a group to attend a nearby conference and chose to stay here Not only were the rooms personalized to our name, but the hotel housekeeper must’ve noticed my makeup and left out additional makeup wipes (such a small touch that meant a lot!) The bed was SO comfortable and it felt cozy, spacious and relaxing

The front desk was super helpful with check in! Big shout out to the team there!! The Starbucks was fresh and delicious Another worthy note is that the artwork throughout the hotel was created by the faculty and students of UNC!!! I thought that was super cool as well During my next stay in NC, I’m definitely coming back here!

First, the hotel is BEAUTIFUL there’s no denying that Our room was clean and presentable, and the view was great! It’s also close to MANY restaurants & stores so that’s a plus! The staff was friendly and VERY helpful down to the housekeepers Although we enjoyed our stay, I have a few things that I feel could have been better for the pricing of this hotel

there are NO microwaves anywhere in the building, not even the restaurant (or so I was told) That’s a major inconvenience to some, especially if you bring back leftovers from a restaurant Secondly, my party that arrived after us did not get to check into a room until around 6PM! I understand understaffed issues, but the wait after driving almost 3 hours wasn’t one they were prepared for Other than those small issues, the stay was great!

Sam running the bar is one of the absolute best bartenders I’ve come across, not just in a hotel setting He cranks out enough work for four people Seriously on top of everything going on around him

Looking forward to another stay Will come back just for himAside from that, the property is nice Rooms are clean Staff is friendly Can’t wait until they get food back in the lounge

For the price it was good accommodations The rooms were clean and had a good stock of pillows and towels Staff was friendly and there was always someone at the desk to assist

They had laundry on-site on the even numbered floors, pool and gym They did not have a free continental breakfast They had a smart TV and it allowed you to watch your own shows

Residence Inn by Marriott combo big but still very nice 7 story hotel here for a week in August Clean and quiet but very busy post Covid Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby and downtown only 15 minutes away

Unfortunately I did witness the after effects of a break-in out in the parking lot It can happen anywhere do don’t leave any valuables in plain sight

I enjoy my stays at Homewood Suites It is usually very clean and I appreciate the effort they put into maintaining a good, clean friendly atmosphere The last times I stayed, there were noticeable stains on a few doors and door frames

I understand it though there is a lot of a certain staff is allotted certain time frames to clean_reminders to check behind themselves Also, there should be more focused monitoring of breakfast guests who don’t put on the supplied plastic gloves and keep masks on, as asked to do while gathering breakfast items The areas are clean, staff friendly and service is great!

Homewood Suites in Concord is top notch! From the reception staff to housekeepingMy travel partner and I stayed here literally every other week, a week at a time each time We were never unimpressed

From check-in, the sweet reception staff are 5-stars in themselves <3 and always make it a breeze! Making our way up to our room and every time checking out the room before getting comfy (I’m an avid mattress-flipper) and this is the one and only hotel I’ve stayed in that consistently has stain-free mattresses We’ve probably stayed in at least 20 different rooms in this hotel and NEVER seen a stain, dirt, bugs, etc Every inch of the rooms are sparkling clean, never a fingerprint or dust anywhere Shoutout to housekeeping for that! In the mornings there is a wonderful breakfast (my favs are the western omelette, hash browns with peppers/onions) and of course the waffle maker when having a sweet tooth The linens are soft, pillows are top notch, and rooms are spacious Every time I come in those front doors I want to holler “Honey, I’m home!” The location of the hotel is close to a bunch of food/shopping establishments as well, and of course the speedway so that’s a plus!Shoutout to Amanda, Lindsey, and Tash for always being so welcoming and making Homewood Suites a home-away-from-home! You guys are the best!

Mercedez Allen

LITERALLY one of my FAVORITE hotels I’ve ever stayed at It’s up there with the Four Seasons! The suite was beautiful and I’m picky so trust me you will love it ! Everything in the room was spotless and well taken care of The hotel looks brand new and smells fresh! I was truly at home during my stay

I checked in with Ruthie she was so sweet and welcoming and I checked out with Gen and she was so polite and nice with me and other hotel guest! She asked me how my stay was and I could tell she genuinely cared! I love this hotel! This will be my hotel I stay at anytime I’m in Charlotte/Concord area!

I really like Tru by Hilton hotels They are so different from usual chain hotels Its the decor and the rooms

I think they are designed like European hotels The staff is always nice and friendly The breakfast is pretty good Usual amenities Big lobby with a small shopping center Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable I like soap, shampoo bottles in the shower instead of wasting ton of bar soap and tiny plastic bottles There are plenty of restaurants around the place, walkable The place is just off the freeway but very quiet

speedydelivery carolinas

A very interesting Hilton concept!Had the breakfast and was delighted!Family oriented and then experienced folks (like me, sometimes gray hair) and many had their most wonderful dogs staying with them too! Very big draw families with kids – a pancake making machine, hands free! Even big kids like me are impressed with the see thru window on this marvelously, elegant, machine The staff is most excellent and friendly Wow I have been looking for a place where you can feel comfortable taking your pet – I can’t wait to get my pup to try the facility

Sorry puppies, only people breakfast so you gotta’ bring your own! 🙀

Teresa Sufana

Another wonderful stay at Tru by Hilton! Easy access from highway Checked in using the app, clean property from parking lot to our room Beds and pillows are very comfortable

No pool at Tru hotels but they have great games and a pool table and tvs in the lobby with hot water for tea and coffee always ready Breakfast was fresh and tasty and the ladies were friendly This is another Tru hotel I would recommend!

I was one of the long-term stay guests at the Residence Inn Northlake Service was SUPER EXCELLENT from day 1 !!!!! I will rate it 10 stars because everything was twice as nice!! All the management and staff are very helpful and they brightened up my day with their ready greeting and smile!! With the length of my stay there, I considered them as family Special mention to Mr

Dave Love, the Sales Manager, for ALL his help and assistance My stay here was the biggest highlight of my temporary move to Charlotte

Vanessa Postel

Alethia is the best! It was such a pleasant experience to check in with her at 130am after 9hrs long on the road! I can’t think of a way she can be better or more lovely The hotel is abit tricky to find if you’re looking for the residence inn sign as the building says another hotel in big letters at top of hotel and one tiny sign for residence inn Other than that, this place is great! Very very clean room/hotel and quiet! Great a/c

Lovely pool and outdoor spaces Accepting of my small dog King Studio amenities are very nice and room is spacious Bed is comfy as well Blackout curtains could be a plus to add Will definitely stay here again!

Brian Coyne

To all of you who travel for a living, avoid this Residence Inn at all costs because they will steal money on your credit card I orginally booked a room until May 5 My project finished early and I was able to leave on Saturday, April 30

They have charged my credit card for the remaining nights up to May 5 The manager refuses to call me back and discuss this I have filed paperwork with my bank to deny these charges In over 40 years of traveling around the country, I have never had a motel steal money from me

Update ***Wow! Just WOW! Never have either of us experienced such genuine warmth and attention to detail, with an unbelievable sincere interest in our expectations and needs! Joy started each day with her bright and beautiful spirit! She and Quinton were over the top fabulous! Our room was spacious beautiful, clean and had lovely touches! I highly recommend upgrading to the suites! Well worth the few extra dollars! This Inn demonstrates customer service and excellence as an art form! We will now always meet here for our visits!Thank you so much for an amazing experience!***I haven’t stayed yet, but after booking with Quinton tonite, I’m already beside myself!!I am planning for a perfect vacation for me and my sister, who lives on the west coast, (I live in Charlotte): We have just three days to enjoy!I called with a certain expectation, and Quinton listened and created a scenario even better! I am so excited to experience a lovely space suited exactly to our needs, while enjoying the excellent service and beautiful area! Thanks for the peace of mind Davidson Inn!

We reserved the executive suite and it was small, nothing exceptional The bed is NOT a four-poster but a very contemporary style We thought there would be a king bed in the executive suite, but no, it’s a queen

Our mistake There is a daybed here but no blankets, sheets or pillows, so this is not helpful Blessing is that the bed is at least comfortable Very disappointed for such a high price We will not stay here again Poor value for the price Cannot recommend except to say it’s central to the downtown Davidson area We’re very unhappy with the value to what we gotreally Thank s was no f

Overall a pretty good hotel, especially for the price Room was clean and spacious Location is convenient to highway, shopping, restaurants

Mobile check-in worked correctly There was one broken cabinet in my room No smart TV, which was disappointing for a Marriott property Doesn’t appear they had breakfast bistro open, but I never use it anyway

Heather Wilson

2 stars because it was clean and that’s definitely a positive However, we chose this hotel for amenities NOTHING worked- pool was “closed for maintenance”, ice machines “under maintenance”, breakfast wasn’t even open- free or paid, no coffee, anything, the a la

csrte downstairs had cheerios and oatmeal and peanuts Oh, and we booked a king suite and they gave us a single king room, had to go downstairs twice to get it figured out- lugging our belongings with us It wasn’t like we arrived early, we called to ask if we could be granted early check-in but they said 2:30 We arrived at 4:30 Also told us that refrigerators had been pulled from the rooms Deems like they are out of money and holding on for dear life to stay afloat Pretty hotel, front desk was very nicebut sadly disappointed

Joseph Dalton

Check in was a hassle, they said our room we booked was unavailable “If you guys want to leave and go somewhere else that’s fine” Really?!?! Not a good start

Someone else stepped in and said they needed time to get our room logged in or something and if we’d like to wait we could Everything amenity was closed, broken or unavailable I definitely won’t be returning, this is my 3rd run in like this with Marriott in the last 2 years I’m done with them

We booked this hotel kinda last minute on our way home from the beach The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly I liked the layout of the room compared to a traditional room

It gave us more space for our family to spread out I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room The price was very affordable as well We will definitely consider staying here again if our travels bring us this way

James Rudacille

Definitely would recommend to anyone traveling or even staying for a vacay Everything was immaculately clean and in order The breakfast was absolutely delightful and exceeded my expectations

Staff were extremely friendly, from the ladies of the kitchen to the maids and last but not least the check-in staff were so friendly also As I said in the beginning, we would highly recommend this establishment

Daniel Farnham

Hot tub was absolutely filthy, jets didn’t work, and it was very cold The pool is tiny and the the entire pool area is very poorly maintained The gym is large enough for perhaps 1-2 at a time and has minimal equipment

Room was not terrible Very disappointed as we picked this one after reading reviews and because it had a hot tub Drove 11 hours today and this was not a good way to end the day

Find another hotel This place lacks any kind of customer service Management is unavailable to talk to during regular working hours

Front desk is fully of empty promises Stayed here three nights and they never came to refresh the sheets, towels, and such (after multiple requests) The room was dirty, cobwebs in both windows and on the fan, and dirty towels left in the bathroom from the last guest Truly disappointing and well below the Hilton standard The only positive is the location

Christopher Condon

Stayed her for a wedding I was in Never got the discounted rate I’m a Hilton Honors member and they said they could do anything

So Staff and Hilton Management can’t fix their mistake Never going here or any Hilton again Recommend checking you bill many times, even though nobody can do a thing Wow, now they are asking me to call Which I have done, twice VM and no response You are complete BS Stay away from Hilton!!

Location was great and the property on the outside was beautiful! Unfortunately the rooms were extremely dated, we had a big bug crawling on the ceiling The spider webs were in the corners and the faucet were broken in the showersWe asked the night for our room to be cleaned

The next day at 12:30 it was still not cleaned and when I asked down stairs they said it wound be clean When we came back that night of course it had not be cleanedDisappointed from this hotel-

My wife & I took a day out of town & experience something new in Charlotte We stayed at the Embassy suites in Charlotte/Concord, & was lucky enough to get a front room with a view of a hole on the golf course, Camping World, Hendrick Chevrolet & Charlotte Motor Speedway baby! We visited downtown E Trade street, &Tryon also tried out a couple of Charlotte restaurants while enjoying the free Embassy Suites house drinks after calling it an evening

Had a refreshing shower that almost sent me to the emergency room That’s one slippery when wet bathtub in room 1012, but I caught myself We rested and relaxed, had a good nights sleep In the morning we both really enjoyed our made to order breakfast that came with the room M6 wife had two over easy eggs while I appreciated the skill of the chef, making a delicious bacon & ham with mushrooms, spinach and cheeseWe would love to come back one day & do this all over again

Sonya Fearrington

I went for a convention ; the service was decent considering they were full w/ convention goers & normal hotel guest When we arrived there were no baggage cartsWhen asked if there were additional or when the baggage carts wld be available

We were informed, if not downstairs other hotel guests had the cards; in turn we wld have to waitThat was a bit of a bummer, though we understood given the fullness of the hotel If you didn’t get extra items such as pillows or blankets when you first arrived There were none or minimal after check-in The complimentary breakfast was amazingThe staffing was a bit low, but I believe like w/ everyone it’s due to the pandemic The rooms were nice & clean I would definitely return to patronize them

E C

The front desk staff was exemplary, but we experienced issues with the Rocky Creek Grill and the reception hours Issues we experienced with Rocky Creek Grill were not answering the phone after 5pm and when we arrived at the restaurant, the lights were not on so it did not seem they were open The staff seemed lackadaisical

The impression was they did not want our business so we ate elsewhere As far as the reception, each night there was only one person working the bar area when there should probably have been at least two people, especially on a Friday and Saturday night Each person was overwhelmed but doing the best they could considering the volume of customers they were serving The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were very accommodating Overall this hotel definitely could use some renovations We will not consider staying here again

Vanessa helped check us in and she was awesome The Asian gentleman was awesome and helpful as well (I’m sorry i forgot his name 😔) Breakfast go bags were convenient

Pool was great because there was no loud echo and it wasn’t HEAVILY chlorinated No complaints about bedrooms, clean Also it smells really good in that hotel, I wish I could find out the fragrance they use

Maiya Williams

I found a coupon online for this hotel for $89/night and that’s exactly what it’s worth Paper thin walls, extremely dated rooms I thought people were exaggerating about the air conditioners but they are unbearably loud

Chipped floors & a dangerously chipped mirror in the bathroom that I almost cut my hand on The elevator was out of order the second 2 days of our stay, and the entire first floor reeks from the pool chemicals It was conveniently located near the lake & the friend I was visiting but I ended up staying elsewhere on the final night of our reservation The front desk girls were lovely but I would not stay here again

Shannon Shanton

3 stars only because the air conditioning was LOUD and kept us up When we checked into the room we realized that it was loud so we asked to be changed to another room The front desk person was very accommodating and kind and gave us another room, but the air conditioner was loud in that room too

Other than that issue, the hotel was clean, comfortable and a great location

I couldn’t give this hotel any stars If I wasn’t forced to give one, I wouldn’t But their customer service was that bad

I booked a “pay AT the hotel” room a month in advanced It was a guaranteed booking with a confirmation number I drove 2 hours to get to Charlotte- ran into traffic as usual Check in is 3pm on and I got to the front desk at 3:40 The front desk informed me they cancelled my room at 3:00 because I wasn’t here to check in and they tried to charge me prior to getting to the hotel and couldn’t ( that’s not exactly the definition of “pay at the hotel” ) She refused to give me my room even though I had a guarantee and a confirmation number She said she could book my room again except for a higher price I couldn’t affordBeing an out of towner, i had no where to go No sleeping arrangements and all the safe, clean and decent hotels were booked that weren’t $300-500 a night The only room I found had homeless people sleeping in the parking lots and drugs on the corner I felt so unsafe My was to be wonderful, relaxing weekend turned out to be a nightmare because this hotel would not honor my guaranteed bookingTHAT’S POOR POOR BUSINESS

B Attleson

We reserved a king with a pull out couch We booked last minute so we didn’t have many choices The room smelled like pickles and when we turned the heat on the smell grew stronger

We had to choose between a yucky burnt pickle smell or being cold The leather sofa sleeper was half leather -half miss matched cloth and not clean something was splattered along the bottom (pictures provided but not the best) Behind the trash can in the bathroom on the wall in the bathroom was a yellow splatter I think if I had brought some chlorox wipes and some air freshener with I would have enjoyed our stay a little more The king bed was comfortable enough but the pull out couch was not comfortable A mattress protector or sheets were not provided for the pull out bed We were too tired to wait for someone to bring them Luckily, we brought our own blankets and pillows The gym was nice but wipes or cleaning supplies were not available to clean after use -I was not prepared to bring wipes of my own, so I skipped it It was easy to book on price line, but we payed too much The staff were friendly enough There is a nice breakfast I am sure they are doing the best they can with the world being short staffed

I’m not sure how to respond to my original review, below is my review and your reply, which is actually a lie I left around 3, and house keeping was still there and you did not answer 3 voicemails I left Other than being a filthy hotel, terrible customer service you can add blatant lies to the list against staying hereI was planning on staying two nights but I had to leave early, I let the front desk know at 2

30pm and asked about a refund, they said not possible, cleaners had left and they could not rebook my room I left my room and the cleaners were still working on my floor so asked again on my way out and they said, our manager is not here, we can not authorize that I have left three messages, no0 one has called back This hotel staff have been unhelpful, the hotel is also not clean My room smelt of smoke/sweat and chemicalsLikeResponse from the owner 47 minutes agoWe would like to thank you for staying at the Country Inn & Suites, Charlotte University Place and sharing your feedback We are concerned to hear that you were not quite satisfied with your visit and experience, mainly with the refund you are requesting Both manager have already spoke to you and unfortunately the refund was declined because you did not leave the room until around 4:30pm Our housekeepers were finishing up for the day and we were not able to get the room cleaned that day We do apologize that this caused you an inconvenience

Customer service was great Staff very helpful Rooms need a little help

Air conditioning was so loud I had to shut it off at night Bathroom frequently smelled like cigarette In fairness, the Staff did offer to change my room My choice to stay where I was Staff seemed concerned and assured me that these issues would be addressed I would stay here again

It was very nice and very reasonably priced Our truck broke down and this was the closest hotel It was amazing

We had stay at many other hotels on our road trip and they were horrible despite being 3 star hotels This one well exceeded our expectations And was very reasonably priced The beds were so comfy and the rooms were very large and spacious

There was no fridge or microwave in the room I had which was disappointing The beds were comfortable and there was a very comfy corner couch in the room The TV was small and kind of outdated/bad quality of picture

The showers came with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner dispensers Everything did appear to be clean though so I was happy about that I wish they’d had free coffee in the lobby

Pamela Clark

It was okay Very difficult to find if you are from out of the area I was warned that I would not be getting housekeeping, that was fine with me

Except coffee would have been nice The fridge was in a cabinet and hot to the touch Couldn’t find the hair drier I think it was way over priced for what you get Not worth the money Also had to go down 3 times to get my keys replaced because they didn’t work And,NO, I didn’t have them near my phone A lot of noise outside When you are parked outback and can’t even get into the building, have to walk some distance to the front desk to enter, then go to the room only to find out your keys don’t work there either and you are disabled,on the 4th floor,it was very inconvenient

I specifically sought out this hotel after a fantastic stay at a Sonesta in Atlanta – it was a mistake There was a bit of a run around because my school was paying for me to go to a conference and requested a CCA After many back and forth conversations with the hotel they 1

found my confirmation and booking number that some working the desk could not, and I was provided the Credit Card Authorization form I sent it to my school and they took care of it roughly three weeks in advance Upon arrival to the hotel, I receive notice the wi-if is spotty to the point they need to call someone to fix it, but they haven’t They explain there is a person who sometimes shows up to make breakfast, but not to worry because there are many restaurants I could go to in the area Of course, they also didn’t know anything about the CCA form and decided to check me in and look later My phone number was verified so they could call me with an update Except they never did Upon checkout I asked if they straightened it out since I had not heard anything No, it was not There were no notes that would provide insight and so, they just charged my card that was on file That was not actually going to be said to me except I asked point blank The customer service is abysmal, the pillows flatten easily, and the bed was hard There was no matching of any of my expectations Most of this I could overlook except for the ambivalence shown in the customer service There are many hotels in the area I highly suggest ANY other

Hotel was clean, staff friendly, easy check in/out I appreciated that even though it is in a busy location, it was quiet in the hotel and quiet at night too Breakfast was good, but could’ve been better; my daughter got an egg that tasted rotten and the sausage looks/tastes like hamburger, is gritty, and was cold right out of what was supposed to be a stream server

I tried to get different pieces still cold They need to tell people when making a reservation, that they will hold additional money for a security deposit Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will stay again

We had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again if we found ourselves in the area The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, our room was clean and updated, and I felt they had a great complimentary breakfast selection We traveled with our daughter and they were able to provide a pack and play that looked practically brand new and I felt very safe having my child sleep in it

Stayed for short weekend Easy check in and check out Great location, very close to Ikea, the University & the Outlet Mall

Rooms were clean Fairly quiet room, didn’t hear much outside noises Their were 3 light bulbs out in my room, two in the room & one in the bathroom We were able to get replacement bulbs pretty quickly I, however, did not like that the fan in the AC unit could not be kept at a constant “on” position and it was loud at night
