Decent hotel, but it is showing its age The wall paper in the hallways, even by the elevators on the first floor is coming off My run was fine, but again, it is showing age

The shower surround was crackedIt was a comfortable and decent stay, but the details of maintenance are lackingI unfortunately did not get to try the continental breakfast since we had a fire alarm, but that’s not the hotel’s faultOverall a comfortable stay that was having on maintenance

I am beyond irate! You get zero privacy at this hotel I was just down in the lobby at 10:20 Am and purchased Emergency Vitamin C and Aspirin as I’m not feeling well at all, and also have high blood pressure I also elected to stay an additional night this morning

The checkout here is 12pm, but at 10:30 AM the housekeeping lady knocked twice and within 3 seconds walked in as I was exasperating and yelling, ” I’m in here!” I called down to the front desk and she said she would take care if it I explained to her I could’ve been undressed or engaged in an intimate situation, totally unacceptable Then, believe it or not, at 12:09, even worse, 2 housekeepers open my door without knocking or acknowledging their presence I have lost it at this point, called down to front desk, yelling She comes up and the housekeeper tried to say they didn’t do that Unbelievable! And, now I’ve gone from feeling bad to horrible, my blood pressure is out the roof, I will not be comfortable the rest of my stay The first thing I would have done to remotely help curb the situation would be to offer a discounted rate, and at this point the whole night should’ve been comped I’ve never been so unimpressed They are very lucky, had I been unclothed either of those times, there could have been a potential civil case other hands Stay somewhere else!

I have to say the staff here is awesome!!!! One in particular stood out from all the rest, Imran was very helpful and welcoming, I have never made a reservation and had a staff member go above and beyond to accommodate like this my daughter was traveling with her coach and I was so concerned about room placement he kept me updated about the reservation and most important my daughter said when she got there he greeted her by name , that made her feel comfortable due to it was her first time traveling without me she said it felt like homeThank you so much!!!❤ memorable moments ✨️

God’s Love

I needed a little get away and I haven’t been to DeLand Fl for several years I looked at the hotels in the area and went with this Courtyard by Marriott I asked for a high floor and was given room 402 with a balcony

I like having a balcony and it cost me about $2000 more for two nights I was able to feel the heat of Florida and was able to see birds flying by from Hawks, Vultures, Ibis and even Sandhill Cranes from my bed The two problems with this balcony view was the many Fools riding motorcycles with LOUD music and bad mufflers They were not the only ones making noise People in pickups and some muscle cars also made A lot of street noise And the many people that smoked from the balconies I can’t stand smoke and Marriott really doesn’t want you to smoke on the balconies but some people will never care Highway 17 is a busy road that runs right in front of the Courtyard by Marriott in DeLand Fl The room I was in had a good A/C that after awhile would cycle and turn itself off A 48 inch TV with Sat TV which I would lose connection about three times over the weekend The TV had many channels The room in general was nice But there was a large stain on the carpet near the footstool The bathroom was big one one person or two The shower stall was a nice size but I at 6 foot one didn’t like the safety bar where it was for when I shampooed my hair I bumped my elbows on the top of it I used the shampoo the hotel gave you in a 1oz bottle and it did the job well I wonder how the other rooms in this hotel handled the outside noise from the LOUD vehicles that felt it was their right to tick-off others On Saturday I asked a front desk woman about a couple of restaurants and she loved one but not so much the other I went to the seafood restaurant she said was very good and enjoyed two lunches there over the weekend I don’t know what Marriott could do to lessen the noise of the fools outside But if you’re a light sleeper don’t get a balcony room face the parking lot or the side street

Carolee DeRollo-Whalen

I have been a Marriott Rewards member for years Always had great service Never have written a review

We came down to DeLand for a college visit This hotel has gone above and beyond! From looking for non down pillows to kindly switching rooms when a larger one became available Then when we switched rooms; we needed foam pillows again The poor guy at desk searched high and low and found us 3 ( it is 11 pm!) I cannot say enough Rooms are clean Pool area small But clean College 2 min walking distance away!!

Ryan Wagner

Stayed for 1 night and overall good experience No housekeeping was offered I didn’t ask why but undoubtedly they’d use the COVID excuse

Hotel bar wasn’t open at night which was disappointing No type of continental breakfast offered Only a block from downtown so plenty of eating and drinking establishments close by Nice hotel, just has some downfalls

I would say when it came to booking this hotel I made the mistake of not realizing that it is not anywhere near the tourist areas and I had to drive quite a ways to get to the theme parks from here The hotel was a nice place it had very friendly staff, a very good free breakfast and free parking which is a win for me because I don’t believe in fees for parking My complaints for this place is 1

No daily housekeeping which I think is ridiculous 2 The dryer was running for an hour and my clothes were still wet 3 The elevator was slow and one day it was out of service completely 4 Breakfast service ends way too early on Mondays-Fridays like I am not a morning person and if I got nowhere to be I find it annoying to have to hustle down to the lobby before 9am to get my breakfast it would be nice if they had the service end at like 9:30 or 10 the entire week because that seems more reasonable Other than those 4 issues I had a good stay at this hotel, fair price got all the amenities I needed I saw they recently renovated this hotel so that is very nice to see

John Lesko

4th time staying here and still outstanding, fair pricing, clean rooms and appliances, bathroom was very clean and fully stocked As of 02/18/2022 the hotel still is not offering daily housekeeping service, but anything needed is just a phone call to the front desk away Large Breakfast buffet served daily, hotel pool is well maintained and complimented with nice landscaping

Will definitely be back next year!

Abdul Ishaq

Worst hotel I ever stayed in at this price point As soon as we got in our room we noticed that the sink in the bathroom was broken This was followed by a TV that did not work

We then tried to call the front desk but the phone just rang and rang no one answered We found a roach in the room the pool was dirty and equipment was rusted out The windows were filthy The ice machine on our floor did not work The rooms were run down Definitely skip this hotel and spend your money on something of better quality

I LOVED everything

Emily was just superbit was the first time that my husband and I stayed in a bed and breakfast, so we were really nervous After some research, we decided to give it a shot best decision EVER I did a little surprise for my husband’s birthday and we went to the Blue Spring Park, after the park we went to The Ann Stevens House Even arriving before 3pm Emily was able to accommodate us She was an angel showing all the areas in the house, she took the time to walk us through everything in the room and also she gave tons of tips about thing to do and eat in the area The room was super clean, the view was amazing, and the staff was so polite and helpful I will definitely recommend, and will definitely stay here at another opportunity Thanks Emily for the hospitality

Jeff Epstein

Found this B & B to be a perfect place to stayThe host greeted us and shared with us and other guests that just arrived the history of this home Very interesting

Very accommodating and relaxing A park and easy guided trails next to property Wonderful experience and will return!

Janice Zengotita

I can’t say enough about our experience in this space The hostess was extremely accommodating when we made a mistake in our reservation She made our family feel at home, gave us a wonderful tour and history lesson about the house and property, and pointed us in the direction of places we could explore

The room was gorgeous, clean, and spacious The property, peaceful Casadega itself is a special place We took our hostess’s advice and explored the wooded park next to the house Then we talked through the community, visited the history museum and metaphysical store, then the book store/educational center We walked the fairy trail and sat at the pond before dusk We had dinner at Sinatra’s and were fortunate to take in some live music Then a short walk back to the house Everything is within walking distanceWe lost someone we loved this year, and little moments throughout our short stay helped us feel connected We will be back to visit, and we highly recommend a stay at the Ann Stevens House

Stayed here for a month in a couple different rooms Great for travel as it is not too expensive and has a kitchenette and massive desk with TV Pretty comfortable

Staff was helpful but not always at the front desk when needed My room was double booked and someone came in while I was in there but the front desk apologized for it My first room had a couple small nails sticking up from the carpet near the lip, and the second room had quite a bit of mold on the ceiling above the shower Definitely needs some updates but overall it’s a good place to stay if you get a clean room Pretty good location Within walking distance to Top Golf and has a decent sized pool

Jennifer Jones

If I could leave no stars I would First of two minutes after checking in, no luggage carts to be found What do they have one?? Five minutes after checking in, I opened a closet in my room to find a roach crawling out that I had to squash with my shoe

Thatleft me with a sick feeling The place had an odor upon entering My room was dirty I have pics that I took This place is more of an extended stay than a hotel I do not recommend staying here The staff was friendly but I need more than that Cleanliness and bug free are a must

Bethany Hair

I read all the reviews before booking, but was unpleasantly surprised during my stay First the positives: the staff They’re amazing

They were always so friendly whenever I needed anything or if I saw them in the hallway The gym was actually decent too They have a cable pull machine, free weights, a bike, elliptical, and treadmill I spent almost an hour in there every morning by myself It was great I appreciated the location of the hotel as well Very accessible to anything you neededNow the negatives: THE SMELL The 3rd floor reeked of I-don’t-know-what One day I came in and could tell they tried to spray something to cover up the odor, but it was right back the next day The odor was so bad throughout the hotel that my clothes faintly smelled like itThe third floor also had giant stains on the carpet as soon as you exited the elevator Also – the hotel is extremely musty/outdated “Touch-up paint” was all over our room and bathroom and it was definitely obvious There was a random long black hair folded up in my towel, and there was a thick layer of mildew on the bath tub drain that I ended up cleaning myselfOverall it was not pleasant to stay here for 4 nights I could see if you just needed a quick over-night stay on a road trip – but definitely not worthy of a multiple-night stay

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff are accommodating and politeThe room is spacious, comfy beds, huge shampoo/con/body wash pumps in the shower, mini fridge, coffeemaker, and a microwave and cappuccino machine are by the front deskBeautiful views, nice pool and jacuzzi, huge gym, outdoor couches, and a shaded walking trail just steps away! Plenty of restaurants and a Publix across the street

Shula’s was okay Slow service but food was good Nice patioWe will definitely come here again!

Tracey T. Rice

Nice hotel Clean rooms I am sensitive to light at night so I had to put a towel down to block the massive amounts from the hallway

No cover on the peephole, so that was bright as well Room darkening curtains did a good job There was one robe for my husband and I in the large bathroom They provided a small bottle of shampoo and conditioner, but one bar of soap for both hands and body Towels were fluffy and absorbent Did not make use of ironing board, iron or safe, but they had them Coffee maker uses round filter discs exclusive to the hotel The refrigerator kept food cool and did not freeze anything Adequate for a night Across a busy 4 lane divided road to many restaurants and a movie theater Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating Did not try the Shula’s restaurant located in the hotel

Melissa L

I had to travel with my dog So grateful for a pet friendly hotel Dog-friendly rooms have laminate flooring which is super helpful

Staff has been really helpful and kind The restaurant on site (Shula’s) is expensive but good The 3 issues I had is, due to covid there is limited room cleaning, the convenience store is very limited, and parking (although is plentiful) it’s a bit of trek Rooms are clean, quiet, and well organized Not the hotels fault but I4 was under construction and there was a long detour

Our room was clean and the linens were soft The air conditioning kicked! No musty smellsThe pool was clean and refreshing on a 90+ degree day

Plenty of pool towels and a receptacle were available for swimmers and sun bathersThe front desk folks and housekeepers were competent and friendlyBreakfast was okay—standard fareNo little league kid teams were there, which made the stay much less hectic and quieterThis is our go-to Hilton hotel whenever we’re visiting family in the Lake Mary/Sanford areas—usually 3-4 times per yearLots of eateries within a short drive/walk are available

Spencer Wilson

Great location Excellent staff Room modern and good

Pool door was close and a little loud but only for a bit Opportunity area: Had to stop by front desk to get a key card as digital key with app worked about 25% of time on both side and room doors and shower water wouldn’t get above luke temperature Overall though good hotel Would stay again

vanessa perez

STAY AWAY!! Do not waste your money here We are Hilton Honors and loyal members for a long time This by far has being the worst Hampton stayed ever

We requested early check in and were told there was rooms at arrival time The rooms are old, dirty and uncomfortable beds We probably got 3 hours of sleep The noise was unreal and barely provided necessities on the room The front staff were never available when you need them We will never stay here again

Very nice hotel our room was very clean and all the staff members were super helpfulMartha took care of us with every request and even checked in on us on the phone to ensure we were enjoying our stay Breakfast was good although not free it was worth it Will bring my family here again when visiting Orlando

Tom Warfield

This is officially the last Courtyard I’ll stay at I’m not sure what this brand is trying to do, but they offer very little amenities ( I couldn’t get hot water or tea bags half the days of the week I stayed here), no housekeeping the entire week, their restaurant wasn’t open This is not the only Courtyard I’ve left wondering why I didn’t stay somewhere else

The room was clean and dark, so it wasn’t all bad

I hosted my rehearsal dinner and a meet and greet event for out-of-town wedding guests on the Garden Patio at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lake Mary I am so thankful for Michelle’s help in coordinating the event, she created a floor plan for the evening and helped me pick the food and beverage packages to suit our needs We ordered the Italian buffet for dinner and the food was phenomenal! The chicken parmesan and tortellini were especially delicious as were the chocolate cake and cheesecake! We used Hilton Garden Inn Lake Mary for one of our room blocks as well

They were able to reserve a courtesy block of rooms for our wedding guests until a month before the wedding They were flexible with guests who needed to check in earlier than our room block or extend their stay past the room block dates (we didn’t have as much flexibility at the other hotel where we had a room block) Another perk was the free shuttle for guests from the hotel to the Lake Mary Events Center where we held our wedding We appreciated this service, although the shuttle was running a little behind Just make sure to schedule shuttle service for a little earlier to account for traffic etc and it should be fine We also stayed at this hotel after our wedding Our king room was spacious and the hotel treated us to chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our room on the wedding night!

Matthew Barker

We had a great stay, great pool with plenty of seating and loved they hard board games for the kids to play My only negatives were some of the staff was not friendly at times with a bit of attitude when asked questions and the only other thing was the breakfast set up I felt that there should javelin been more food but also just get the order right

One time I can understand but 2 days in a row it is a training problem Still recommend staying when at a PG event, only 17 min from field with no tolls

Colin Bosler

Stayed here one night after my flight from SFB was canceled The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was great! Laundry facilities were solid, breakfast was tasty and the pool seemed nice (didn’t have time to try it but others seemed to be enjoying themselves) Shower pressure and temperature were on point as well

I would definitely stay here again

Great staff! They were super friendly and accommodating! Rooms were spacious and clean Breakfast was included The same selections were offered all 6 days we were there, but there was plenty of variety with both hot and cold options

The dining area was restocked appropriately and kept very clean There was also a Starbucks on site with other paid options available

One of my worst hotel experiences ever My room was dirty to the point my socks stuck to the floor No bath towels light fixtures broken, scalding hot water unbearable to shower

Arrived very late purchased food asked for a receipt I paid cash The young girl told me she couldn’t print out a receipt, I went back down! Next morning still could not get a receipt, asked about the scalding hot water, I took ownership of them not having hot water They did offer to move me rooms but I didn’t have the energy to clean another room I did not want a refund I did not want anything free All I wanted was a receipt for the food I paid for Manager told me I would have it under my door by 6 PM Still was not there was told I would have an email by 8:30 PM still did not get my receipt Keep in mind everything wrong with my room I wanted zero compensation I finally called corporate supposedly I’ll have the receipt tomorrow It shouldn’t take 36 hours and ask 20 times for a receipt Especially when I cleaned the room unable to shower, flickering lights, I had to go down and get towels I understand things happen All I wanted was a receipt!!!! If they were unable to get me the receipt the least they could’ve done was call me It’s sad because I didn’t want anything for my inconvenience I just wanted a receipt for what I paid for!!

Our room had no working outlets to plug into The toilet leaked on the floor which was duper sticky from other leaks The glass shower door made a huge loud sound when trying to close or open it

When talked to the asst manager about the issues no remorse was given and no refund was given even when we left the motel the night of check in at 11:30 pm Horrible stay Will not be back Wanted to alert you,

Dalisa Morriss

I stay here a lot and I am shocked to see the hotel allowing what’s happening here right now People having a BBQ well a party in the parking lot Taking all the parking spots and kids running around the parking lot

Nobody is doing anything to stop it either The noise is so loud and they getting drunk and cooking in the grill like they are in a park I’m at a loss for words Never again cause the screaming I can hear it all the way in my room

Oh where can I start Good location, customer service good, good breakfast The building is the worst we have ever stayed

Nonstop water leaking which was causing the mold smell in the room we stayed We moved 3 times in the nightoOne of the room were staying had a leak We were sitting in the room chilling and suddenly we heard the water gushing out under the bathroom sink, and to make matters worse, the water was hot, thank God the house keepers were still on the same floor cleaning some rooms We called them loudly and they came, one of the lady house keeper got on her knees under the sink and shut the water off They helped us to move to another room This room we moved into was smelling like mold mildew all night Our second room my kids were watching TV, then started to hear water dripping on the floor in the bathroom They called me, I went in, put the trash can in the area, and it continued dripping We called front office They moved the kids to another room And that one was ok until morning we were about to check out the kids told us tha the bathroom When they flashed the toilet the water was brown When we asked the front desk as we checked out they were saying that the city was running some repairs Please be careful in this hotel Not good It’s need immediate attention to the plumbing issue

I love the porch! I love the cats! I love the energy! They are charging way too much now $275 for 2 nights with a SCREAMING portable AC unit that gave both of us headaches and uneven sleep I love the no TV but a small fridge would be great! It’s bare minimum

Cleaning crew are great but running the vacuum through the hall at 9am was just bad Always great interactions with staff1st stay, LOVED it2nd stay, crooked bed and an RV style shower/toilet3rd and last stay, the AC unit and stiff springy bed made it really uncomfortable

Paid $210 per night for two nights since the only room available was the “king suite,” not that that was a problem; however when we got into our room we found five cockroaches, (four of them dead) The hot water does not work, the floor boards were loose and kept popping up, the food in the restaurant in the main lobby was horrendous, tasted like a teenager cooked hamburger helper (it was a $33 dish of what was supposed to be Lobster Ravioli) I was so hyped To go to the town because many people I know had rave reviews about it, but it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had

I had a reading with MIA Amazing I keep bringing all of my friends to her

Shadow work and being present to experience life 10/10 Are you in auto pilot or can you actually tell of your experiences Are you open to the universe or are you closed off with blockages? MIA is like a warm hug from a friend that pushes you to be your best self The truth isn’t always cute, rainbows, and sunshines but that does not mean it won’t enrich your life If you can’t take the heat then get out of the kitchen Thank you so much MIA My life and the lives of everyone that has a privilege to meet and speak with you is enhanced ten fold Till next time! ❤️

My family stayed for 9 nights and I couldn’t ask for a nicer staff! They are amazing, always accommodating for my handicap The breakfast was always hot and fresh and kept filled The place was clean and felt like a home away from home

Pool was in great shape and the water was refreshing in this Florida heat Everything I could possibly need was within a short drive You can follow the road it’s on straight to Daytona Next time I’m down here I’ll Def book with them again

Room was not cleared out from last guest, clumps of hair from vacuum, garbage on the floor, and plastic bags with trash in themBathroom was not stocked with enough hand and face towels for 3 guests Shower was very angled on the bottom and felt unsupportive

Toilet seat was not connected properly and slid aroundThe closet door was flimsy, hard to open and close, and the handle was about to fall offStaff were pretty good Got us new towels quick when asked

We awoke in the morning to find human waste coming up from the bathroom tub It was the most disgusting thing I’ve experienced while staying in a hotel We noticed a fan on the floor up the hallway when we checked in so this is not a one night isolated problem

The manager apologized during checkout but I can’t recommend staying at this hotel

What a welcoming hotel!! Mints on my pillow a welcome snack bag and when I checked in I inquired at the front desk about when the bar would be closing because it’s been a long day and I needed a glass of wine The wonderful young lady at the front desk ordered my wine and had it sent up to my room so I didn’t have to come back down You have a customer for life!!!

Stayed for one night, and had a great experience at Orlando Marriott Lake Mary! All the people with whom I interacted were friendly and helpful, and the warm breakfast buffet more than made up for the temporary closure of the executive lounge The beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, and the rooms were clean/well proportioned I would definitely stay here again

Jay the front desk clerk and Norris the helper, were the kindest, most knowledgeable, helpful gentlemen we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting as hotel employees! They made us feel more like family than hotel guests 🙂 We had missed our flight and the hotel was convenient to the Sanford Airport Very clean and comfortable, nice clean pool And the hot & cold breakfast was another great plus for a great stay! The next mornings desk clerk

well, we had to get to the airport, and didn’t have time to keep waiting for her to come back to the front desk, so I just laid the room keys over the desk and left But other than that, we’d give it a 💯👍

We didn’t plan our post cruise plans very well but Jay at the front desk was more than accommodating and helped us with an early check in m, plus a coupon for a free appetizer at a local restaurant The room was very clean and comfortable The entire staff worked hard to keep every bit of the hotel clean

They even helped us with a later check out time when our out going flight wasn’t until 5 and had a free airport shuttle to top it off In a time of increasingly lacking customer service This Comfort Inn and Suites delivered!
