Close to the interstate clean rooms we had a 2 bedroom loft The only thing I’d change about the layout is the king bed is in the loft which essentially gives no privacy to the occupants in the loft and seeing as the king bed would typically be the master bed you’d think it would be down stairs in the bedroom and the 2 twins would be in the loft Just my opinion though

I am a travel coordinator for a studio movie filming in a nearby big city and I had to arrange for last-minute (less than 10 days from our expected stay) accommodations for my crew of 56 people Ms Kathy and her staff went above and beyond to prepare for my group’s stay

Everyone was extremely communicative, very receptive (to changes, etc), and exceptionally kind – it made my job much easier with them in my courtBetween the service, hospitality, and billing I had not one single issue (and if you’re in the biz long enough you know, there’s usually always a problem, big or small) Thank you Sycamore Inn!I highly recommend this property for both large groups and smaller reservations

Heather TC

The owner, Ms Kathy B, her staff, Stacy, Lani, Curtis, Matt, Nico, and the housekeeping staff (sorry if I failed to mention anyone by name!) WERE BEYOND, BE-YOND, PHENOMENALLY AMAZING!!!!! Their extreme professionalism, care, sincere concern, and assistance (AND IT WAS A LOT) WENT ABSOLUTELY ABOVE, BEYOND, AND FURTHER!!! I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL ENOUGH

I JUST CANNOT IT WAS THAT GREAT!!!This hotel is clean and all amenities were provided (including a bath seat and wheelchair for a handicapped room!)I am SO, SO GRATEFUL for ALL of their extreme accommodations while I had to spend back-and-forth time at the Animal Hospital directly across the street! Our length of stay was unknown at check-in and the entire staff ensured us that we would NOT need to worry about yet one more thing! We were welcomed to stay as long as we needed!!!BESTHOTELSTAFF&STAYANYWHERE EVER!!!♡

Kaci B

This BW was pretty standard for a hotel of its age The room was clean and reasonably priced We checked in on a Saturday right before 6am the gentleman that was working the desk and setting up breakfast was extremely friendly and had helpful information about the area

Overall good stay I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in the area

Architectural style is modern, European, colorful and inviting Rooms are spacious and clean Area around the hotel is green, walkable and safe, with restaurants and live music in close proximity

The reason for the poor rating is the service With one notable exception, the staff was unfriendly, short, disinterested and, often, downright rude No matter what the issue was (housekeeping forgot to clean the room, the paid breakfast was not delivered, or an extra item charged by the front desk to our room by mistake was not removed), every interaction with the front desk was unpleasant and painful Improve the front desk customer service quality and this hotel will be a 5/5 Until then, we will not return Thank you

Very nice hotel, convenient to a lot of restaurants and bars nearby The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable Shower was huge!My husband and I especially enjoyed having the XYZ Lounge downstairs in the lobby for a quick and convenient drink

The bartender was very friendly and kept us hanging out with some great conversationIt has its own parking lot so parking is not an issue

Kelly Bollinger

I always stay here when traveling for work It is a convenient location, I like the bar and the bartender, Nick, is greatThe rooms are always spotless and the staff is very nice

I wish the coffee was available all day and there was something to grab and go as a breakfast option I started bringing my own, but would rather just get something from the little store

Hello and no problem My family and I really liked the location of the hotel and the layout of the room and facility Our stay received 3 stars mainly due to the following reasons:1

The door on the first floor leading in/out the north side of the building had an issue with the electronic software to get back in working properly As such, we could not scan ourselves back into the building utilizing our key fobs even though our room was just inside that door Due to that, when we returned to the hotel and parked outside that door we had to walk around to the front of the building to enter the main doors I reported to the front desk the first day but it was not fixed during the days we resided in that room2 On day 2 of our stay, we went to enter our room and after turing the outside handle to open the door the handle popped out of the column and we could not get it back together The front desk tried to help but they were unsuccessful as well As a result, we were moved all the way to the top floor from the first floor so we had to move all of our things that were already unpacked in our first floor room along with all of the groceries we had purchased for the week3 Finally, when we went downstairs for breakfast one morning we were informed they were completely out of milk so we had to eat our cereal dry

Stay away from this dumpster fire of a hotel My wife and I frequent the Home2 style by Hilton due to the size for families This one was by far the worst to date

There was dirty laundry in the hallways that never went anywhere There was still trash in the room from the previous occupant The door stuck really bad from not being hung level and it was really hard to open and close The pool was ice cold, cloudy and had an odd smell Digital keys had issues unlocking the correct locationService here is an absolute joke too When asked with a question you are met with indifference and annoyance The staff are rude and unprofessional The girl at the complimentary breakfast was on her phone the entire time on her ear pods Every person working just seemed annoyed that people were thereClearly the management here is non-existant There is a lack of passion; a lack of consumer focus and a complete lack of work ethic Whoever owns this location should be absolutely ashamed at how it is ran Take some pride in your hotel and yourselves

A Google User

My review seems to have disappeared so I am sharing my full experience First, Hilton did not ever send an email confirmation Please note that this is important because it is the only document that would record a cancellation policy

Second, I cancelled over a month before my scheduled stay They proceeded to charge my credit card I reached out to the general manager twice with no response The front desk staff is not well-trained on taking and transferring phone calls and I was told twice to call back in the morning when a manager would be there I then filed a complaint with Hilton Customer Care and was guaranteed to receive a response within 72 business hours I have received no communication at all whatsoever, a full week later Please avoid this property and all Hilton properties at all costs I am having very similar issues with another Home2 property right now as well

The hotel is exactly as pictured on the website, no bait and switch with lower quality when you arrive Our room was incredibly clean and kept well upon arrival The reservation was accidentally put in my maiden name and I think the woman checking me in was more nervous than I was about them not having it

We had an issue with our door when we went to dinner the first night – it looked like a kid had been pulling the handle or something and it wasn’t as secure as it was when we arrived so they switched us next door within 5 minutes no big deal We had breakfast at the hotel on day 2 assuming we’d get something light based on the photos of breakfast but they actually have a waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, warm breakfast sandwiches, as well as all the typical cold stuff and pastries We were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our stay

C Thom

Our room was HUGE, definitely spacious The elevators moved super slow and one of them was down the next day so it made the wait for an elevator longer I didn’t experience any issues with noise

The location is pretty ducked off but next to a movie theater Teenagers that were leaving the theater seen us in the window and came into the building and knocked on our door!!! Definitely not safe to have anyone able to walk in the building at night The pool was pretty wild with no one supervising Breakfast the next morning was a mess! We had to ask for clean bowls, more waffle mix, a refill on cereal and the person working the area had an attitude when you asked! This is a good place to stay if you don’t care about service

After making a last minute decision to visit Cincinnati I booked my stay here for one night to visit with friends and family Christal was working the front desk and she was extremely professional, personable, and very helpful Christal assisted me with every request and I had many

Each trip to the front desk she was immediately available and helpful This type of customer service is very unusual, but desperately needed Christal is definitely a key member of the team If not, she can definitely lead a training in Customer Service! Customer service along with clean rooms will make any guest return From I first interaction with Christal I was pleased and impressed!

I absolutely love these rooms it felt like I was staying at a high end apartment love the bed The rooms have a Art Deco style to it you will love the room you will love the lay out do I love the cabinets the material they use the hotel itself even the lobby area is beautiful is very high end

This hotel looks better than some high end ones i have paid way more money for and had bad service So if you are in this area and you need a room definitely definitely definitely choose this place

Kimberly Hughes

We booked a room for a wedding we were attending, the first room was nasty it had some sort of bio fluid on the side of the bed and the room smell of feet, the 2nd room we were assigned was dirty after complaining about the 2nd room we had to clean it thank goodness we carry wipes and Lysol This hotel doesn’t have a daily cleaning or refreshing the rooms unless you have been there 3 to 4 days The only good point was the breakfast on Saturday; the attendant kept everything fresh and clean he was friendly and attentive, Sunday was a different story and I was glad to have left

If you are looking for a short stay this is not the place to be

Great experience We stay at double tree hotels fairly often with typically great results, this was was no exception Called to see if they had a room last minute after being turned away at the original hotel we had booked due to them not having any rooms available (3rd party websites overbooked them)

The staff and manager accommodated us extremely well for such a late check in Room was clean and nice Friendly staff, great stay overall Will skip the other places and just book here if we need to stay in the area again anytime soon

Matt Hotel

Came here for a baseball tournament Stayed 5 nights Rooms need renovations

Staff there are super great (Matthew, Will, Security guards, Bartender and breakfast waitress were exceptionally awesome)Pool is great Hot tub is downWe had a great time, I like the rooms set up, but it needs a Reno

Tina Boggs

We had a great experience with comfy bed, great staff, and excellent access The hotel is dated some BUT we had EVERYTHING we needed and hot water Rooms are spacious and loved having fridge and microwave in room

The cookies are always a treat! The only thing that iritated me was the baseball teams that stayed here as well The hotel can’t control them or their actions, but their coaches and parents SHOULD and didn’t Teens dropping the f bomb loudly multiple times in the lobby while talking to the parrot Mom’syelling at kids down the hall at 10 at nightcome on people!!! If you travel with kids, teens, or sports teamsBE CONSIDERATE of other guests

The hotel is kept in good shape on the exterior and main lobby It’s right next to the convention center Free shared parking (so maybe an issue if there’s an event)

The actual rooms are clean and comfortable The air conditioner didn’t work great Just don’t pay more than what you would for a basic, clean hotelThe main point I wanted to share was their free breakfast, which is always a key factor when I book a hotel Let’s just say management runs a tight ship Breakfast ends at 9am Usually that means a hotel will stop adding new food on the counter and have a grace period for people who sleep in But here, they start clearing everything before so that nothing is out by 9 sharp!!! Even when there’s a crowd lining up for food Staff will make that point loud and clear, as I could hear one of them shout at a patron about the possibility of refills Grab breakfast early! That includes coffee and tea

Nick Cianchetti

We stayed here for two nights We arrived around 10p and was greeted with a smile by an employee named Praise The next morning at breakfast, he had an even bigger smile and was doing a very good job at keeping breakfast stocked and moving! He was there when we got back in that evening as well, with another big smile! There are people you meet that come across as genuine and I could tell Praise was a genuine person! This guy was wonderful and needs to be recognized

As far as our accomodations, the room was clean and the breakfast was good! Thank you for such a great stay!

Blue Matthews

The hotel is kept in good shape on the exterior and main lobby The actual rooms and hallways connecting them are quite dated and in need of some renovation The carpet was a bit torn up, the hallways were extremely hot, and the air conditioner didn’t work great

The room itself was fairly clean, but was a bit muggy It’s a bit dated and in need of some repair, but it’s clean and comfortable Just don’t pay more than what you would for a basic, clean hotel

Nice, newer hotel with lovely amenities like the gym and hotel bar/restaurant area Stayed here twice and had a great experience The room layout is unique, featuring a large bad, sofa and massive TV

Bathroom has bright lighting and huge shower with a glass wall so no curtains to mess with which is great Location is close to major roads and food Will be staying here again in the future

D.Y. H.W.

No issues The kids across the hall kept coming and going in and out from room to room for a couple hours and that was a tad annoying because the doors are loud IF you let them slam Do better parents

I have four babies and they KNOW better It is disruptive It eventually stopped around 930pm Other than that, it was excellent Amazing mini market selection I ordered dinner because I didn’t want to bother the Cafe staff Delivery from Chili’s was fast Will be back because Hilton chains are cutting services now and Marriott isn’t

We live close— over the river in fort thomas- about 20 miles Our daughter was invited to a sleepover in the area and I drive for Amazon flex- the warehouse is close to this hotel so I thought we’d make a night of it and I could work a shift or twoJust WOW! First off, we are Marriott members and when we requested an upgrade it was given

Very friendly, helpful and professional staff And for me, I always struggle to use those mobile keys but it worked right awayThe room- this is the king suite but it’s huge and it’s so clean My husband cleans the bathroom anywhere we go I love that he does it but the things we have seen Anyway, he is walking around talking about how much he loves this clean room and that after cleaning the bathroom he was shocked not to have found any hair Great job housekeeping!!This room has USB ports all over, and two large TVs and a lot of space I love the view as I have been watching the birds playing My kiddo loves the sofa area and has deemed it as “hers” until she goes to the partyEverything is just easy thus far and I am sure it will continue to go as smoothly…It’s a block from Walgreens – not sure if you could walk it as I forgot to see if there was a sidewalkHeaded to the gym to check it out and we will update with more pics after our stay I was so pleased with how our stay began that I didn’t want to forget to write a review :)Opened in 2019 and it looks even newer and so far everything is clean/pristineThe rest of our stay was amazing! That gym— wow! Upscale cardio and weightlifting machines— leg press, chest press, bicep and tricep machines on the cardio you could use their machines for Facebook, Twitter , YouTube and netflix Our kiddo was able to sit on a bench and watch tv and use the bike while we used the equipment Also water machine and cups Free ear buds alsoThey food and drinks and coffee- Starbucks type I didn’t personally use but I did enjoy a Klondike bar from the the front desk storeThe bathroom is just smart and easy as everything was here Check the picsAnd again- USBs everywhere… So convenient! We saw some slivers of the sun setting

I payed a hefty price for three nights I was told they were short staff that was not my problem neverthess damage is done That was my first and my last time

Matt Robinson

I was a Marriott Employee traveling on a employee rate, I arrived and was told I couldn’t check in due to not being 21 and that it was an Ohio law, which it is not I was directly lied to by both a manager and a front desk associate How can I be able to work at a Marriott and not be eligible to stay in one? We let 18 year olds stay the courtyard I work at, also in Ohio

I was told that as long as someone checked in that was 21 I could stay in and pay for the hotel, I just couldn’t check inWhat a joke

Excellent experience! When I first walked in I was greeted by Christopher at the front desk He was so sweet and welcoming and had so much knowledge of the area He gave us great food suggestions and told me where to get the most for my money while shopping! Once he got us checked in we went to our room

Again, I was pleasantly surprised The room was was so clean! Everything looked new and smelled amazing! If you need an affordable night away from home, come here! You won’t regret it!!

I was looking around for a hotel for my 15th wedding anniversary, specifically for a jacuzzi suite It was a Saturday night, and every hotel was either booked or the room cost over $350 for one night Also most of them had very small jacuzzi tubs

I stumbled across a listing for LivINN, and I was a bit hesitant because the price looked a little too good to be true, but I took a risk It was a risk that paid off beautifully The hotel is lovely, very clean and very well maintained The staff was so friendly and courteous, and when I got to the room I was stunned It was so clean, roomy, and comfortable The tub was huge, filled very quickly, the jets were strong but not uncomfortable The location is very convenient, tons of dining and entertainment options just a couple minutes away I’m simply amazed that it was the most affordable, but also the nicest jacuzzi suite we have ever stayed in If you get the chance to stay, this is a hotel you can not beat, for a great price

Diane Lipski

We were part of the convention in the Sharonville convention center Choosing this hotel was a great choice We didn’t know that all we had to do was walk out the side door, skip 50ft and walk right in the door! Room was spacious, very neat and clean

Checking in staff was helpful and friendly when asked about places eat The pool was very cool and they had sides that opened up without door seating and a fire pit

Staff was friendly and hotel was clean The access to shops and restaurants on foot was nice But No security

A very busy area and multi floor access and lobby access that was not limited to hotel guests I actually had a young man in a ski mask (in summer!) follow in directly behind me in the revolving door He plopped down in the lobby and the lone front desk worker said nothing Bar was not open the hours stated on the website Closed by 830 on a Sunday night of a three day weekend…as many guests were requesting drinks The “restaurant” was a hot/cold breakfast spread that would be complimentary at most decent hotels For the price point at least a full service restaurant and maybe room service would be expected We were told by a number of staff that it was a business hotel and not a leisure hotel, which is why staff was minimal Housekeeping came banging on the door like the FBI before 9 on a Sunday morning We wouldn’t stay here again for a weekend trip

Tommie Rowland

At check in no one was at the desk I had to look in the back offices to find someone The first day I was there the room was clean, second day no room service

When I ask the front counter if they provided room service each day they said yes I told them my room was not clean third day room was clean, four day room was not Very limited amenities in the room Very uncomfortable bed

My husband and I are almost platinum level at IHG & also Gold Hilton Honor members I use to work for Marriott & wanted my husband to see that they have great hotels I am very disappointed in the service we received from the hotel customer service

We made a reservation I called immediately to cancel because we have a puppy and obviously we can’t bord her yet bc of lack of shots & not old enough for all of them yet I could have snuck her in the hotel however I choose to follow their policy I was told we could cancel and no charge was applied Turns out we got charged I spoke to multiple guest service representatives and told I’d see a refund We waited over the 2-3 business days for a refund that we were quoted We saw none So went in person to handle since we got no where on the phone The guest service representative at the front desk said we have no manager on duty and we would have to wait until the next business day for 1My husband said this never happened if this were a Hilton or IHG hotel & sadly I have to say he is right Very disappointed in Marriott When I worked at Marriott, after each shift we always made sure to have detailed notes on any guest issue and we took care of each guest issue ourselves if there were any I remember a guest so upset that their gift card had a 0 balance on it and should have had a balance on it to pay for their room I recalled them saying they had a couple gift cards they used at previous hotel So on a whim I asked the hotel info After speaking with that hotel they previously stayed at found out they had grabbed wrong gift card I was able to take care of their room charge Turns out this stay was a test on us Thanks to me handling everything for them and it being through only 1 guest service representative we got repeat business from them and other guests they sent to usYou never know who will walk through the door of your hotel & the service you provide speaks volumes on how you are as a hotel After going to a business dinner for my husband and bosses and discussing this hotel with friend of the family about where to stay for them and other family members who visit I told them I do not recommend this hotel & explained our situation The company needs hotels quite frequently and the friends of the family and their family members will now be using a different hotel nearby that we stayed at and highly recommend that had amazing customer service Sad to say that this could have completely been a different experience & they could have had more repeat business

Nice hotel would have been nice to be informed that they still are on covid protocols and no daily service (I had to get towels and coffee on my own due to no service) and I wasn’t informed that I would be charged to self park in a garage People this isn’t a major city and absolutely no reason to charge for parking I found it tacky

No biggie just disappointing

This is a review for our wedding block at the hotel The Courtyard by Marriott was a great hotel! We got ready in the king suite for our wedding day, which had a lot of space to work with We got a free shuttle through them that was very convenient and the driver was great

My parents hosted a breakfast there the morning after, and the food was excellent However, there were some logistical issues which is why I’m giving 3 starts- There was a shuttle card that they printed that had the wrong venue location It resulted in a guest going to the wrong venue and missing our ceremony- I caught them giving a gift bag from another wedding to our guest, instead of the one for ours It made me nervous that they had given some of ours to the other wedding’s guests They asked us not to customize gift bags that we left at the front desk to give to guests within our block, otherwise that would have helped avoid the issue – and it also could have showed us if anyone didn’t get a bag upon checking in on accident- There was limited availability for early check-in or late check-out With a 5pm ceremony start, the 4pm check-in time was hard for a lot of guests Similarly, the breakfast my parents hosted went until 11am, which was also when check-out was My parents weren’t even able to get late check-out to finish out the breakfast- They charge breakfast by plate instead of by person, which caused some confusion due to some people getting multiple plates

One of the best hotels ever first of all the staff and everyone there are good people and nice and always helpful the inside is beautiful and looks nice in there but my favorite part is the glass elevators which you can see through and if you’re on the top floor it’s an amazing view inside the rooms is nice it has a good smell which smells like breakfast food and the room service is well the bed and covers comfy and nice

and the best part when you wake up the breakfast is 100% free and great all kinds of options and there is no limit like an all you can eat buffet and it has a homelike atmosphere even a wonderful pool The best place to stay 5 starts Strongly recommend : )

On June 11, 2022, myself and my family was in Cincinnati, Ohio for a women’s retreat We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott hotel for one night Before I settle into any hotel room, I check out the rooms with a black light, which shows bodily fluids or evidence of bed bugs

I examined the bathroom which showed very little residue except some hair in tub, not mine As I continue with the room, what caught my attention was the bed shirt What I discovered was a bed bug upper right corner of the bed shirt I believe if one appears and I kept looking it could have been more I stopped looking and called the front desk Minutes later the manager and someone from housekeeping came to the room At first the management said she didn’t see it, so I put the light where the black spot was and it begin moving Both ladies help myself and part of my family move to another room Upon my sisters return I mentioned to her the events of what took place and she went to the front desk to speak to someone in charge but was told that person wasn’t there and we’ll get in touch with her at a later time, and that hasn’t happened yet Just in case you say no one has mentioned this before about Marriott, maybe if people purchase these black lights on Amazon you never know what they may see

Not bad, but I chose this place because a hot tub really helps with my chronic pain while travelling But the “hot tub” here is more of a warm tub I actually got cold in it

Do better, Marriott
