I would give this hotel 10/5 stars if I could I’ve had some rough hotel experiences in the recent past, so I’m always wary of where I choose to stay now I stopped through here for the night on a road trip, and I want to stay here for a week now

The hotel itself is in a beautiful location, about a 2 minute walk from the lake and tons of restaurant options My room was spotlessly clean Very spacious room and bathroom, nice shower with good water pressure, clean bedding, fluffy (but not obnoxiously fluffy) pillows and the most comfortable mattresses I will be staying here every time I need to travel for any reason Great job guys!!! This hotel is a killer deal – great price and super high quality and cleanliness The gentleman working at the desk when I arrived was so kind and helpful too Thanks for making my stay so enjoyable!

Gina Porumb

Absolutely great! From the easy check in till the last moment, the service was fantastic The place must be fairly new, because everything smells great and the amenities are modern The room was extra clean, in fact it’s the cleanest hotel I’ve seen in a while

The bed was comfortable and the noise level was minimal, even though there were families with kids around us The best thing is the internet, every guest has a different password set up and it works fast and easy Great experience!

Great hotel for the price We stayed in 4 different hotels on our tour through TX and this one was by far the best It’s was clean and the staff was friendly

They served free hot and cold breakfast every morning I thought breakfast could last a little longer It was over at 9:30am The parking is free It’s in a great location It’s right off the lake surrounded by restaurants It’s also near the Target and Lowe’s If I googled a place or restaurant it was within a 5 minute drive from the hotel I couldn’t have asked for a better location When I go back to TX I’ll definitely be staying here again

We stayed the night here after traveling for hours and hours with an infant, an active 12 yr old, a pregnant woman and a doggy, to say we were exhausted is an understatement We walked in and the place is being renovated so there’s a bit of construction going on It made us a little worried, but it all turned out wonderful

The staff is amazing and very helpful The lady tending to the breakfast was friendly and so so kind She works hard at making sure her guests feel welcome and have everything they need The beds were incredibly comfy, the room was quiet and the temperature was nice and cool… I’m sure even our fur baby was made to feel welcomed There’s a lot of construction equipment outside, but don’t let that keep you away The area is safe and we had no issues whatsoever We will make sure and stay here again when we’re in the area

Donna Franger

Owners are very nice The house keeping staff are excellent The breakfast crew are informative and punctual

They are remodeling and the construction crew are hardworking and very professionalI must Thank them all for my glorious stay and for being Very pet friendly The whole family is looking forward to a return tripThank you allSee you soon

carolyn

I have never stayed in a noisier room than this one here Even ear plugs didnt drown out the noise from the highway The shower valves evidently are plumbed backwards as the spigot for the shower opens from the hot side

It would have been better to know before the check out I would have loved a warm shower Their breakfast was nice

It was a wonderful place to stay Very friendly staff, great housekeeping services Our room was extremely clean and nice

Staff supervisor and employees were friendly and polite and always willing to help, if you needed towels, extra blankets or cover they were quick and efficient There was a very good complimentary breakfast each morning The atmosphere was really cozy and welcoming Housekeeper Mrs A Glaude was always friendly and went above and beyond her duties to accommodate and make the guest happy

Ms. Johnson

Glad I found this newly built hotel last min Boarder line on the cleanliness and that’s for the hotel and it’s entirety No hair found in my bed like most Hotels

Stayed one night sooo it was acceptable for the most part Keeping this Hotel up probably won’t happen but Hey it was great to experience my stay as it was Staff at the front desk like to converse with others while guest are coming and going

Joey Carton

The room was great, a good size with useful design for 2 people The only complaint was that it was very warm an humid when we first arrived, but running the AC at low for 20ish minutes was able to fix that issue Close to the interstate and also the lake views

Breakfast ran out of quite a few items about 30 minutes before it was supposed to end, so don’t push it until the last moment to head to the lobby

Hyatt Park in Rockwall, Texas – 1600 La Jolla Dr, Rockwall, TX 75087 – This is a super hotel I stayed there two nights and loved the bright lighting throughout the room and particularly in the bathroom where there was a make-up mirror with under lighting

The bathroom was supplied with large towels and had instant hot water in the shower which had a safety rail and an easy-to-operate-one-handle faucet The room had a full-length mirror, comfortable chair, L-shaped couch, good refrigerator, big-screen TV, and a nice closet with lots of hangers, a safe, an iron, and extra bedding The bed was comfortable with numerous huge/soft pillows and a beautiful white comforter; and the double-curtains made it possible to keep out the sunlight when needed The heat and air conditioning were easily adjustable and worked efficientlyThe entrance, lobby, lounging areas, TV’s, cafeteria tables/chairs, and food choices were more than adequate with a market to purchase salads, sandwiches, candies, and drinks 24/7 I enjoyed two full breakfasts while there – eggs, ham, bacon, potatoes, cereals, fruits, juices, waffles, bagels, and a choice of delicious varieties of coffeeThe amenities included good parking, luggage carts, workout room, swimming pool, conference rooms, and washer/dryer/microwaves on various floorsMost importantly, each and every staff member was exceptionally friendly and helpful They went out of their way to help me when I accidentally misplaced my iPhone Nothing makes travelers feel any better than to know that they are surrounded with staffers who care about them as individuals I am grateful to be able to recommend Hyatt Place Rockwall, Texas to any and all

Karmyn Ward

This is a great place to stay, and is not too much to pay either The rooms are a little bigger, beds are very comfy, nice showers, nice bathroom, TVs are really nice, and the service is great Every worker here is very friendly, and will help you right away

It’s in a very nice, pretty quiet, private location too It’s not right by the interstate, or right next to another building

David Lewis

The hotel is nice, breakfast is pretty much the same thing of eggs and sausage almost every morning But it is included The lobby is nice and spacious, with plenty of people willing to assist you

The location is great, but the rooms do not have any cooking place in them It’s the only extended stay I have seen where there is no place to cook They have 1 microwave for the entire hotel in the only laundromat as well The fridge is super small and is just a fridge no freezer The service is great, but the rooms lack of food preparation don’t make it quite as niceEditThey say one is the loneliest number, but this place has also taught me it is the worst as well One washer, one dryer, one microwave, one elevator for ONE ENTIRE hotel As my buddy I lived here with quite often says What a joke If you plan on staying here longer than a day probably find somewhere else to stay The staff are very nice though

Big Bull Entertainment

This is the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed at My room phone did not work and my toilet would not flush I called the front desk from my cell phone and was informed they would move me to a new room once one was clean

Two minutes after the call, someone beats on my door saying they’re “Maintenance” and here to fix my toilet I informed him I was already told by the front desk that I was being moved and he could gladly come fix toilet after my move is complete He then screams I can let him fix the toilet or leave because I’m not getting moved due to having no rooms This was completely contradictory to what I was told by Laura at the front desk I later find out that the maintenance man was also the head manager named Henry Please stay away from this property as they are rude, unprofessional, and clearly racist The night staff was great but the day time staff was the total opposite Don’t spend your money here

Dareyon gray-davison

the lady at the desk when checking in was on her phone playing a game the door was loud when we came in she heard us but i had to wait about a minute and then say hello can you help me! there was also a toddler being babysat both mornings when we were there she was a cute little kid but they mentioned they were babysitting while her mother slept? not sure what that was about but the hotel smelled so bad in the halls and in the room they were sold out so we could not move to another one, it was very loud and someone drumming in the wall next to us around 5am in the morning! i would not recommend this hotel unless you really need one and i wont be back!

huichin Lam

Watch out! I don’t feel safe ! I lost 2 vantage necklaces ! Just one hour after I checked out, I found I left 2 necklaces on the desk and called the reception, they couldn’t find them and very rude to hand up the phone while I was talking The facility is very old, mirrors door can’t close properly! The worst experience I ever had all over the world!

Walls seem a bit thin Heard a lot of people coming and going between 10pm-1am in the hallway Also, could hear the television and conversations right next door loudly at 8am

Window coolers have a thermostat and go on and off all night during this heatwave Kind of funny as these were popular coolers in the 1960s Nice room and bathroom with microwave and a refrigerator and coffee maker Breakfast was adequate with a waffle maker, cereals, juices bread and coffee Although, help needs to do a much better job of watching food supplies Both days we ran out of coffee and had to ask multiple times for replacement coffee Wait, wait, wait Ran out of coffee, waffle batter, yogurt, milk and cereal bowls the first morning by 8:00am Two of those were never replenished an entire hour later when the kitchen closed Several of the visitors were unhappy about the lack of any attention to our needs at breakfast Overall, an okay property The noise from dogs barking in the hallways (pet friendly) was also a mild irritation Best assets were proximity to the nearby lake and nice rooms, beds and shower

Shawn Pickett

Room was clean and bathroom was very clean and nice At first I thought there was no closet but it was behind a giant full length mirror Our particular room was supposed to have 2 queen beds but only had one plus a fold out couch bed

Another small annoyance was there was no regular coffee packs in our room or coffee cups There was only decaf and regular thin plastic cups in the bathroom

Dianna Story

The place is dirty for starters Open pet policy means they don’t have any pet free rooms The toilet was broken in the ground and the smell of urine came strongly through the floor constantly

Surfaces were dirty The breakfast consisted of bread you had to toast yourself on a convection oven that was never plugged in, during a 3 night stay Eggs bland and overcooked Sausage links Waffles you have to make yourself and they were out of batter every time I went That’s it No other meat no gluten free options, cereal but only room temp water No cups other than small water cups It was so dirty Couldn’t eat there due to how dirty it was Disorganized and sloppy Multiple people complaining Terrible smelling carpets and unit was overwhelming My husband has an asthma attack, my son and i had allergic reactions to the heavy dog dander in the room It was so unpleasant They did nothing to rectify the situation They charged me for an extra 2 nights and didn’t return that money until 3 days post returning to my home state Then after I complained I reviewed email stating I was being refunded and that housekeeping came by and offered a new room And that we declined That infuriates me because it never happened This place was awful I would not stay here again if my life depended on it I stay in Texas sometimes 10 times a year and it’s my home state I received no refund as of yet, and I don’t expect I will I feel totally sad that this place looks and sounds great, especially the free breakfast but it turns out to be terrible Oh also the trash bin on the 3rd floor by the elevator was piled high with trash all three days No housekeeping was done on that floor And the elevator smelled of urine Just all around don’t go here

Okay park Tons of potential to be a wonderful destination Sites are very tight unless you can get a spot in the “L” section

This is a good park for a couple nights if traveling through the area As noted by others the WiFi is pretty much non existent The Verizon signal was very good Water pressure good All amenities were good as advertised Employees were nice Not much of a sense of community for as many full timers they have there Seemed like 80% of the park was full of either seasonal or residents Good experience overall

Awesome site for a family to get awayMy brother and I are riding our bikes across country and found out it’s hard to find just a campground

this place was very accommodating, even had some spare wood to make a campfire,They have cabins next to the pond where you can catch and release fish,Rv hook ups and various spots to stayThe showers/bathrooms were clean and the water was hot!If we are traveling and wanted to stay for a week, this is one incredible place to make some great memories!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!*Very inconsiderate, nonchalant front desk representative*Air conditioner didn’t work*Bummed refrigerator*No soap***Think I was put in a room that wasn’t supposed to be made available for occupancy!I immediately went to inform the front desk representative about the warm room and he was VERY nonchalant ( clearly I was bothersome to him) He started making excuses that proved to be invalid

He suggested the unit hadn’t had time to cool the room since I had just turned it on The unit was on when I entered the room He suggested holding the button down, that was ineffective He stated he couldn’t leave his desk, he didn’t know anything about the units, and they were to get new units on Monday He informed me that he wasn’t from that area, but from the Arlington area and he was called in to help due to staffing shortages I had to go back to the front desk for soap and he questioned me as if I were being dishonest about there being no soap When I discovered the refrigerator didn’t work, I didn’t bother going back up to the desk At this point it seemed useless and a waste of my time to report any further findings to the representative However, I had requested a refund once he made it clear he couldn’t resolve my issue with the non-working airconditioning I was denied a refund because the GM wouldn’t be back until Monday to approve it, but he said he would write up a complaint on my ticket After tossing and turning for a few hour, my child and I left around 2AM No one was available at the front desk at this time***I wouldn’t recommend this facility based on the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE alone, not to mention ineffective equipment and inadequate supplies***Advise you do a walk through, if possible, before making a payment to occupy a room

Tori McLemore

This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed! First off, the pictures are not accurate on the website I was incredibly shocked and disappointed in the room conditions The blinds where tore up and no curtains on the windows

The room smelled of mildew and was poorly taken care of The bed was just slightly bigger than a twin and was super uncomfortable Now for the hotel… All night long there were people screaming up and won the hallways! People fighting and throwing things against the walls Extremely unsafe environment People hanging out outside all hours of the night screaming and drinking Then, we left to go have breakfast at 8:30am, when we returned at 10:15am, the cleaning lady was in our room! I asked her what she was doing since check out is at 11 and she didn’t speak English She threw all of our cloths away in the trash and we had to dig through a trash bad half full of liquid to retrieve them! The front desk person even told me it’s unsafe at night and they would not recommend this place to ANYONE All I can say is lessened learned, and hopefully if you can avoid this place then you won’t have the same terrible experience I did I will never return, I would rather sleep in my truck

Will Dulane

Stayed here for a few months on business trip The two young ladies that work mostly at night have very bad attitudes They are always on their phones and act like paying customers are disturbing them

The one black girl Alexis is always outside in guest faces trying to hang out like she isn’t on the clock Older black house keeper Grace is always on phone and doesn’t clean room too good at all Employees are in the hallways before 9AM playing music on their speakers or banging the vacuum on guest doors not caring if they are disturbed Plus if your room key stops working there’s no one to let you in your room at night The building doors are always broken so you can’t always get in So you have to set outside til you call 1800 number They do not give refunds They will put you in a bad room and Karla the manager will just ask you to leave or they’ll call the police on you I’ve have pictures of bed bugs, mold, roaches, and the dog mess no one ever picks up Disgusting place I will be contacting health department and attorney general to send pictures plus complaint Will never visit or recommend

The night clerk was so nice I was very impressed with the pool being handicap accessible The ramp was something I hadn’t seen before

Easy for me being disabled to actually get in the pool Day clerk wasn’t as friendly Was disappointed in the fact there wasn’t a tub, only a shower with a shower head that wasn’t as good as my $1799 head at home Nice breakfast

Jeana Arnold

This hotel was disappointing, which is a shame as I’ve always had good luck with this brand Soap dish was ripped off the wall, toilet paper holder was broken (When we told the front desk, their response was “we know” but no one mentioned it when we checked in)

Elevator was very close to our room and I underestimated other peoples ability to be courteous and quiet in the hallways The elevator smelled of burnt rubber A dog was barking randomly for several hours one evening On a positive note, we had hot water and plenty of nice towels According to some of the reviews, that is something to be grateful for

Laura Chapoy

1st stay cation, due to a water leak at home Fairly new hotel in Wylie Since we are a Wyndham Rewards member, and Wyndham Margaritaville owner, I expect a lot

Rooms are spacious, nice decor, beds good, plenty of pillows, air is cold, and has a microwave, and mini-fridge This hotel is pet friendly tooIn our room, carpet square torn, and shower had mold on caulking at the bottom Hallway outside of the elevator door is stained A great hotel to stay But, cleaning the stains, repair of carpet, and recaulking the shower would not take much $20 per day pet deposit helps offset the cost, and if done routinely

We stayed here a week and enjoyed ourselves What matters most to me in a campground is safety, hookup function, and general vibe – and this place fit the bill! I don’t think it’s right for everyone – no “extra” amenities for families or anything like that – but the land was very beautiful, the hookups worked well, and it was a convenient enough location to get into the heart of Dallas Check in is remote and easy, and the owner was responsive via text when one night I had questions about weather concerns

We would stay here again if passing through Dallas!

TL Bentley

We stayed there one night last week We pulled in, got plugged in and checked everything We left to go into Dallas to see our grandson

When we arrived back at 9PM Or bus was 95 degrees inside! We called and had maintenance to come to our site He had to replace the breaker We don’t know when the breaker when off but most everything in fridge and freezer thawed It was 108degrees that day It may have fried our inverters and batteries Not for sure yet I called today to request a refund No one has called as of this afternoon Our bus was so hot we had to wait til 1:00am for it to cool off to go to bed Needless to say, we were not very happy at all When you pay to stay at an RV park and they advertise they can handle big rigs and they have 50 amp, they should make sure every electric pedestal works

Mechelle Lowe

I DO NOT SUGGEST STAYING IN HIGH HEAT We stayed at this park for four nights in July and every night that we came back to our camper it was over 100° in the camper Our circuit was popped and our air conditioning was off because the campground could not supply the proper electric voltage It took hours to cool off enough to go to bed

Very disappointed!!! We stayed a week in OK before and time in TN after with no problems whatsoever with our Air

Breakfast was great, not bland like most hotel breakfasts We stayed 3 nights and each morning there was a great variety of food

We also had different choices each morning Will definitely stay again

The hotel staff was friendly and inviting The cleaning crew did a great job and kept the place tidy and towels well stocked The best part was the breakfast! You could see the gentleman in the kitchen chopping fresh vegetables making us the most delicious salsa

He kept such an organized kitchen and clean serving station all while making sure we all had what we needed
