We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Rock Springs Wyoming! We would absolutely give Hampton Inn 5 stars! From the moment I called Aubrey at the front desk until we left the next morning everything was wonderful! Aubrey was so sweet at the front desk and took care of all of our needs and accommodations! We had fresh coffee and cookies on our arrival Our room was spotless and our bed was comfortable and clean We had a wonderful night sleep! We woke up to a lovely breakfast that Walker made! I highly recommend the Hampton inn at Rock Springs!!

The staff was so sweet and accommodating Breakfast was delicious, with a wide array of options for picky eaters like myself Everything was clean

Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout our entire stay Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced Employees seem like they enjoy what they do, and our stay was much more enjoyable because of it

Cristian Vlase

Front of the house staff were phenomenal Informative, knowledgable and very helpfulOne thing I do wish the cleaning staff would work on is stop ‘yelling house keeping’ every 30 seconds for two hours in the hallways while guest are sleeping

We have traveled over 14 states over the last three weeks and have stayed at several Comfort Inn and Suites We are Choice members The staff was very friendly and helpful! But I must say that this hotel was far and above better than any of the ones we have stayed at! The breakfast was great, lots to chose from! The beds were comfortable, warm blankets! The room was very clean as well! Keep up the great work guys!! ❤️

Cora Garcia

The spa never works, we’ve stayed many times just for the spa and the jets never work, and it’s not hot enough to be called a hot tub The pool is clean, the breakfast is good, and abundant when we used that privilege We’re local so don’t use all the amenities

One of their employees wasn’t pleasant and definitely doing suspicious activities while on the clock Made us extremely uncomfortable and we chose to leave early

Julian Gil

This place is great for me In my experience I had the pleasure to meet the lady that served breakfast this morning at 6am A short kind and very attentive to the customers

She said Good morning to me and was stacking the breakfast items making sure there was nothing missing for the guest staying here I was very happy to see such a hard working staff member In my experience I enjoyed my stay here to the maximum Thank you to everyone that works here

Their website says they have a spa which I’d no longer there The pool is kinda warm and they say free deluxe breakfast but it’s a fruit cup and not fresh fruit and coffee We are truck driver’s and to have a hot breakfast and a hot spa are a few of the things we enjoy on our 34 hour reset

So if your website states you have those and we book at full price for those amenities then we expect exactly what we are paying for If you don’t offer those anymore then remove them off your site and adjust pricing accordingly

The Green

WAY better than expected Rock Springs looks like a wide place in the road and the hotel itself looked rough I was dubious but once I went inside my mind was changed

Both the day and night clerks were polite and professional The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet The hotel is close to a few restaurants and in walking distance of a Wal-Mart, which is a surprisingly big plusIf I had to say something negative it was that their indoor pool was so freaking cold, lolOverall this diamond in the rough was worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone going to or through Rock Springs

Chris Hubbard

It’s ok Works good for a quick overnight on a roadtripPros: Room was quiet

Furniture looks fairly new Has a pool Is in walking distance to multiple restaurantsCons: The hallway is dark and dirty The carpet in the room is in dire need of cleaning or replacement Breakfast is bare bones compared to other Wyndham properties

I stayed here with my family We really enjoyed our time here The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious and clean

My son loved the pool The breakfast was hot and available on time Our only complaint was breakfast: the pancake machine wasn’t working, there were no bananas, and there was only one kind of omelet so our five year old wasn’t happy but it was more a matter of preference than an actual issue

Janene Koerner

This Holiday Inn in Rock Springs is fantastic! We had a wonderful clean room! Beds were super comfy as well! It was about a 7 minute drive to the historic downtown area The historic firehouse is a free museum with all kinds of artifacts from the town’s history The hotel also has an indoor pool open 24 hours along with free breakfast in the morning!

Michael Rodriguez

Clean rooms, easy highway access Gentleman at the desk is great! HOWEVER…if you are a motorcyclist/adventure bike/trailering a Razor, this is not your place

They are not accommodating for people who travel by anything except a car/SUV/mini van We got a call from the front desk at 9pm that we had to move a truck and trailer that was hauling our motorcycles There were 15+ open parking spots Hotel was not full Given this area is highly recreational for outdoor sports, this was surprising The “shift leader” female wanted to argue, while the gentleman understood keeping motorcycles close to our window to prevent theft We were supposed to stay here on both legs of our trip but cancelled for a more motorcycle friendly hotel 10 minutes away The excuse given was this is not a “corporate” HI express and their owner has “different rules” We stay in HI express hotels about 30 days a year at minimum and have never had a hotel give a single issue to parking our truck and trailer in the parking spaces We won’t be back to this location It should be noted that during covid, we NEVER stopped traveling and continued to support hotels such as this one that were struggling This behavior by their owner/shift leader is not acceptable

While I have not completed my full stay, the staff was very helpful and great to work with in scheduling my month stay Amanda was great to work with and very knowledgeable on rooms they have to offer Bear in mind that, as with all, hotels/motels the rate is dependent upon the size of the room and the availability of a microwave and refrigerator

I will post a further update as my stay progresses, however the helpfulness of Amanda was truly appreciated

Hollie Petillo

Stayed here during a long road trip Rooms are small, but for the price it was to be expected There was a fridge and microwave which was nice

No bathtub, just a standing shower in the room we got Could definitely have used more towels without having to ask, there were only two small ones; same goes for pillows, they were on the thin side so there could have been 2 more since there were 2 of us The location is good as there are several food and gas options very close The staff that checked us in & out was helpful and friendly, so overall I think this was good value for the money but if you’re looking for a bit more creature comfort, you might want to consider a different option

Sondra Gallegos

Do Not stay here! No water in the showers! The manager is very unprofessional pets are not free and they will charge you extra money on top of your stay! They will not move you rooms to get water in your shower I had to dispute the charges and cancel my card due to random charges People sleeping in the parking lot

Stinks like rottenness and curry! Avoid this place Management has changed in the last few months and not for the better I hope they loose there licensing they should not be in business

What a steal! The best price in town and the staff was phenomenal! They were super accommodating when I asked to switch rooms at 2am because of upstairs noise Beds were super comfy, lots of pillows large rooms as well and very clean The place is dated a bit but man! I was impressed for a motel 8

Better than a lot of high priced hotels in the area Good Job Motel 8 Staff!

Jonathan Machado

Room was a good size Everyone was comfy Pets ok which is awesome

Room smelled like 16years of smoking and fake flowers Besides that everything was nice Nighttime Front desk person had bruises all over her neck which looked weird but whatever She was nice regardless of appearance Plenty of parking Walls decent sound proof We enjoyed our stay

Aaron Banks

The hotel we stayed in before this on our cross country trip was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had; so this Motel 8 felt like an oasis The staff was very friendly and courteous, the rooms were clean, the amenities all worked well and they were even pet friendly for only a $10 fee If you are looking for safe place to stay on a budget I couldn’t recommend this more! Big shout out to the lady working the front desk at night (Cheyane?) she deserves a raise!!

We booked a double queen suite for the night It is very outdated inside but seemed to be clean Bed was semi comfortable, but the pillows lay flat the moment you touch them

When we came down for the “free” breakfast we saw the concierge and all the housekeepers going to town on the breakfast They were laughing and sitting and talking No one came up front to help me Finally I went to check out the breakfast and all that was left was a little waffle batter, some crusty eggs, and tots Needless to say I did not eat any of that I grabbed some tea, dropped off my keys and left We will not be back

Beyond the best campground I’ve ever stayed at It was so quiet when we first pulled in The scenery is so gorgeous and the plants around the campsites smelled amazing

The sites are on an honor system, you put cash in an envelope and place them in a tube We didn’t see camp management at all Firewood was questionable at best It was a small bundle of laminate wood flooring that didn’t burn well and smelled awful It would have been nice to have real wood available to purchase I don’t think I have a reason to ever pass through here again but I would willingly drive through two states again just to camp here again

Kasey Krueger

We were so impressed by this campground! There are little structures at each campsite that provide cool shade, along with picnic tables and fire pits Bathrooms are clean and you can even take a hot shower thanks to the solar power 🙂 It seemed most if not all campsites have a view of the reservoir – we didn’t realize we were anywhere near a body of water prior to arriving so, being able to jump in for a swim was a great surprise! A little breeze kept us comfortable through the hot afternoon, and the camp host (I’m sad we didn’t catch her name!) was incredibly kind As the sun set, we watched a family of deer hang out just beyond our campsite, and later heard a choir of coyotes down by the water

Tons of beautiful birds and critters nearby, and the view of the stars miles from any light pollution was plain incredible Moon was so bright we didn’t need flashlights Such a lovely place to spend a night – we wish we could’ve stayed longer!

samantha stolz

Amazing place Our one night stay on our road trip to Colorado was truly awesome We had the most spectacular show of lightening and thunder, a full moon, and Coyotes singing their tune

We showed up as first come first serve The bathrooms are clean with flushable toilets and shower There are fire pits and picnic tables with ample room between sites The views are breathtaking Great river access with plenty of fish jumping We will definitely be back Bring bug repellant though, the mosquitos were relentless

Clean room, friendly staff, and an overall great one night stay I want to give Will and Jess a shout out for their excellent customer service My husband and I are traveling with our toddler, and I mistakenly booked a room that didn’t include a separate living area to set up our daughter’s bed

They made the process of switching our room super easy and were so accommodating

Robert Ray

The room would have gotten better rating if it weren’t for the light at the door coming on every time I tossed in the bed Guy from the desk disabled it the next day and notified maintenance No

Continental breakfast Instead, you can get a coupon for a breakfast special at Old Chicago that’s attached Breakfast is definitely not their forte Overall, nice place Would visit again

Audrey Carballo

Kayla and Shane were wonderful during the check in They were helpful and welcoming to us, the weary guests I’m talking to corporate now

Hello? Are you listening? Who’s bright idea was it to install a bathroom door that opens OUT? I’ve stayed in MANY hotels and this is the first one where I’ve encountered this And, the best part is-when the door is opened, it blocks the entrance door Genius!!

We stayed at a My Place in Twin Falls, ID just over a week ago, and everything about the hotel was an absolute 5-star experience that blew me away! This My Place has the exact same 5-star quality, and once again, blew me away This tells me that the My Place chain is committed to this experience, as both hotels had the same high-quality experience

When we arrived, we had messed up the reservation, but the front desk guy was extremely helpful and attentive in getting us a room The front desk guy easily offered the best service I have seen in a hotel He went above and beyond for us The hotel itself is newer and looks really nice The room has a nice kitchenette, including a two-burner stove, counter, a microwave, a full-size fridge, and drawers The room has nice, newer furniture, very comfortable and clean beds, and it is spacious The room is exceptionally clean; everything looks to be wiped down and cleaned thoroughly There is not a spec of dust on the furnishings, the beds (including sheets and mattresses) look brand new, the carpet is clean, and the walls and ceilings don’t have any splatter marks or stains The bathroom is also very clean I easily was able to tell that the cleaners spent time cleaning and even focused on small details The price seems to be good, especially compared to competitors and their value So, if you’re looking for a place to stay, I would absolutely recommend this place The hotel is very clean and offers features and amenities that excel competition at a similar price

Meilyn

First off: the night shift people were so nice, helpful, and accommodating 10/10 would recommendPros: Rooms were clean, service was great, staff was amazing, price is fair, easy to get to right off of the highway with good amenities nearby (Walmart, Starbucks, restaurants), pet friendly with a clean pet area compared to other places I’ve been too

Shower water pressure was great, it stayed warm tooCons: no free breakfastOur experience: We got stuck in Denver for an extra 6 hours longer than expected and needed to change reservations Cody w as

I had to go to Green River for a pretty unpleasant reason and I was not looking to get a very nice place just somewhere to lay down at night The Little Bear was priced great so I decided to look into it further

I Know the area well and my first thought was skepticism at best about the place However, all of the reviews were very similar in how much they liked it Without much to lose I booked it They called me on my way in to town, because I was coming in a little late, to make sure I was still coming Once I confirmed I was they stayed open enough to get me checked in the staff was extremely nice for the whole stayThe room was large-ish compared to other similarly priced chain motels and very clean with new carpet I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe This is really a great place to stay for any reason in Green River

R

I never thought I’d give a three star motel a five star review, but my room was clean and decent sized It exceeded my expectation for a small motel in Green River Wyoming So I have to give Little Bear a hearty thumbs up

It also is handy to have a bowling alley with food and drink right next door The only thing I would suggest they look into would be the hardwood chairs they keep in the room I had to use a bed pillow as a seat cushion in order to sit on one over five minutes

Blaxican Dansa

Best customer service we’ve ever experienced in a Hotel/Motel!! The owner is the sweetest and warm The room is super clean and it looks like its been remodeled with upgrades It’s really cozy and nice

Working AC and heater in the room Hot water, clean bathroom and fresh carpets to walk barefoot in there We will definitely come back here when we’re in town! Ohh ya, and a super safe town!!

The staff is fantastic Rooms aren’t that clean, the floor was disgusting, I spilled water on the plank flooring, when I wiped it up and it turned my white towel black Over priced for the quality

A lot of things falling apart throughout the hotel The property around hotel has garbage/litter everywhere It is a pet friendly hotel, but they don’t have any grass around whatsoever, just rocks It is in a nice location, several stores and restaurants within walking distance Doesn’t have a hot tub but the pool is fairly warm

Ashley Lutz-Lyons

The hotel room itself could use a little updating but it was comfortable and clean! The lobby is very nice and it has a great atmosphere with lots of common areas The pool is the highlight for sure! WAY bigger than it seems in the photo on here and it was our favorite part Friendly service! We didn’t have breakfast there but it sure smelled great!

I’ve been at the Mustang for over a month now, the rooms are VERY clean and comfortable The price is fair, and the staff is friendly and accommodatingThe parking lot is a bit tight, and the building is old but for the price, location and most importantly – CLEANLINESS, I don’t mind one bit

The cleaning staff even went so far as to place my throw blanket neatly on my bed each day You can’t even get housekeeping at the Holiday Inn anymore10/10 would recommend the Mustang Motel for anyone coming to Green River Should I have to come back again, I will definitely be staying there

Reena Chesla

Mustang Motel was extraordinarily clean, quiet, and very affordable The staff member at the desk was incredibly friendly with a nice wit, also Mustang is located with nice access to Flaming Gorge and other wild spaces, as well as within walking distance of many of the amenities of Green River

The room had a refrigerator, microwave, plenty of storage space, a desk, a large flat screen tv, Wi-Fi and an adorable little heater that looks like a little gas fireplace (sorta 😆) The shower is tall enough for a 6’8”person, which is nice The only recommendation I would have is that a power strip would be handy, as there are fewer power outlets than items you might need to plug in I highly recommend this place I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Gracie Perrault-Sifuentes

I would say for being such a good price it was pretty greatThe room I stayed in seemed to be all renovated it had new paint, floor was nice and sink was prettyThe front desk guy was so nice and helpful

I have been wanting to stay at this hotel for over 10 years now I pass by it on my way out west from Chicago while traveling for work all the time Finally got a chance to stay there last night and I was very impressed

Staff was extremely friendly upon arrival they even had our room key ready so check into less than 5 minutes which is extremely helpful when we are on a strict schedule The facility was very clean and nice and updated They have many different options for snacks food and drinks unlike most hotels There is also a nice bar for you to relax at if you have time and free dinner Monday through Thursday night as well as free breakfast every morning The room was clean and the beds are extremely comfortable This place has amazing views that I’ve been wanting to see from the hotel and finally got a chance to Will definitely be planning on staying here again in the future on my upcoming trips

Adriana Cooper

Amazing hotel and staff! I can’t write a great review on enough sites to give this hotel all the credit it deserves Rooms were clean, comfortable and well stocked All staff are friendly, respectful and go above and beyond

Pool and breakfast were great Location is beautiful and inviting Will definitely stay here again instead of rock springs or other surrounding areas

Traveling Kat

Loved the light blocking shade in the room, it had been a long drive The rooms were clean and adequately stocked The staff had had a long day before we arrived that evening evidently, and it showed

seemed like they were down to one operational elevator, and the breakfast was scarce Felt like the location was tightening their belt, and fair enough I’m our economy but the location was absolutely gorgeous and there is adequate out door venues and restaurants to try out if you are able to stay a few days
