We flew into LAX on a later flight and arrived to the hotel around 8pm We used points to stay at Westdrift and was pleasantly surprised The service was impeccable

I was traveling with three young children and the staff could not have been more helpful, warm and caring They joked with myself and my children and we had a lot of fun The hotel was nicely furnished and clean We will stay again at this location!

I stayed at this location for 2 nights and had a very pleasant stay It was extremely clean in the rooms and in the common areasThe staff are also very friendly

The food here is really good and I highly recommend eating breakfast at the hotel There is also a bar in the lobby and a tiny cafeThe only downside is parking is extremely expensive per night about $40 per night but you can see if they’ll be able to lower it

quite bad front desk servicethe hotel is nice and the rooms are big and modern but the daytime front desk staff

talk about booted people I barely got a hello from 3 people 1 was checking in peopel while the other two were chatting and sitting on the phoneno acknowledgement of my status (and appreciation for being a loyal customer), no water, no late checkout offered (although entitled to), no acknowledgement and apologies for not being able to offer any upgrades after checkin I have asked for a room change further away from the airport and from the noisy AC unit that was just in front of my window and I got a very rude: no rooms availablenight staff was very supportive and they promptly acted when some guests were too loud in the middle of the nightbreakfast was great, but a bit understaffed so you had to wait to be seatedif they would solve the front desk and would give the girls some customer interaction training it could get the 5 stars it deservesI’m going back in 3 weeks and hopefully the front desk would be better staffed

I stayed here May 21st and did a late check in at around 9 pm there was a young lady and young man working they did an amazing job with assisting me Everything went so smoothly the next morning the same young lady helped me again as well! the property is beautiful and so are the rooms! Will def be staying here more often! Thank you Residence Inn LA Redondo Beach for everything!!

Jon Beacher

I was afraid of the road noise facing the highway, but they have double glass city windows that drowns out all the car noise The bed was very comfortable and stellar free breakfast The lobby has a very homely feel with a fireplace and many tables

Fire pit outside was amazing and the front desk people are charming I would definitely stay here again

Morgan Roberts

It wasn’t great It was average You get what you pay for so don’t expect much

This isn’t a luxury hotel They charge 20 a night for parking, which seems a little expensive and unnecessary for self park The hot breakfast only existed for 2 mornings The rest was pre packaged sandwiches Room was 50 feet from fwy and loud Customer service was the best part and the comfy beds!

We took a random trip to LA for the day, and it was supposed to be for a night We loved this stay so much we stayed and extra 3 days lol But the staff was nice, breakfast was amazing and had plenty of options

Beds super comfy I HIGHLY recommend this place The only issue I had was the pool because it wasn’t very clean, but no one really uses that Overall I loved it

thealimoshref

hotel is horrible! sheets are disgusting and they have lots of bugs in the rooms! sheets aren’t washed and mattress have stains as well couches were also ripped up too horrible customer service and wi-fi is horrible

i called them multiple times and they either hang up on you or they put you on hold the workers also talk as if they don’t care and just want to end the call definitely wouldn’t recommend this place at all! i wouldn’t even give it 1 star

1) The manager Ernesto, is no help I booked this trip on their site King Room asked for a walk in shower

Was told not possible ok fine I will deal with it (Note I booked online paid with 1 CC) Get to the was given another room ok with 2 Queen beds not what I wanted but ok I’m tired and done Used another CC for the “incidentals” Then about 30 mins later get my CC alert they charged for the Room and Incidentals Still unsure if I was charged twice2) After all the drama of getting to the room which I will give credit the beds were comfortable I have a bad knee and back this bed I slept on my back for the 1st time in a while3) Woke up ready to start my day and no water pressure look at the photoI am sorry overall 2 starts because of the bed only This place and most of these IHG hotels need a Customer service overhaul I have more issues that I will not put on this post but they need to think of people 1st let alone customers I see they show they are LGBTQ friendly I appreciate that how about Handicap people friendly? How about understanding real life things happen sometimes last minute They need to think people 1st

This hotel is honestly a joke It was giving motel 6 vibes The pricing of everything (room, parking) and a $200 deposit that WASN’T stated on the website didn’t equate to the overall service being given

Which ALSO, I still have not received my deposit back even though they told me I would receive it when I checked out I checked out last week!-_- I called multiple times and they keep pushing back the days when I should receive it Not only that the Pool was dirty and the cleaning workers did not seem like they wanted to clean my room either If you get paid to do a job, maybe do the job at the best of your ability? Smh

JL MYIK

I stay here for 3 nights, and the room was big and nice Great location and front desk ppl Yet I asked to have my room cleaned and NOT ONCE was it cleaned

They also have you pay for parking and there was nowhere to park after paying for my whole stay There was $200 deposit for the room, but the room had nothing in there and still haven’t received it back

Anaseini Aleamotua

Fire alarm went off inside the room, but they weren’t able to help in any way so I had to figure it out myself Room wasn’t cleaned for the whole stay even after asking for services Had to quickly go in to the room to grab my wallet and was told off by the room cleaners that she won’t proceed with the cleaning since I came in for 10 seconds

During the interaction, another guest expressed that she’s been asking them to clean her room for two weeks The bare minimum was barely met and the I only gave the star for the location

This hotel is located close to the airport and rental car places There are fast food places and groceries within walking distance The hotel rooms are clean and very well stock with towels and toiletries

Easy access to the parking lot right next to the hotel But the best is the staff I have never been in a hotel where the WHOLE staff is friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome There is good staff in other hotel yes, but in this hotel everyone was very friendly and make us feel good about staying there Whenever I get back to CA I will definitely stay here again Tomas and Jess at the reception and I wish I have taken the name of the kitchen staff

Mark Connolly

Would you stay at an airport hotel that did not offer shuttle service? Me neither But first the positives The staff was terrific and the room very clean

But (1) the room was not ready for check-in at 3PM, (2) the hotel does not offer shuttle service to LAX, and (3) the shower is more like a sponge bath Imagine my surprise when the front desk person said they had discontinued shuttle service Huh? What airport hotel does this? If you don’t want to maintain a fleet, then make other bus arrangements But they did graciously offered to call a taxi At my expense They blamed the almost non-existent water in the shower on Los Angeles mandates I get it But this was almost a trickle I would look elsewhere

dollar deals

Rooms were clean customer service was excellent We did have a hiccup when checking in due to arriving a little early I was a bit surprised that check in was at 3pm instead of 11am or sometime around the morning

We ended up driving around until 2pm before calling to check if the room was ready yet I was pleasantly surprised that they let us check in before the actual time We had some trouble with finding available parking spots inside their parking garage due to returning later in the evening Even their designated additional parking garage was full We were eventually allowed to park in a handicap spot inside the main garage It was a hassle nonetheless Speaking of hassles, they don’t provide each room with their own microwave An entire floor has to share one microwave which can make the experience feel awkward when you have to wait on strangers to finish nuking their food It’s also highly inconvenient because it is a tiny microwave and very slow I reheating your food The complimentary breakfast was fine but it felt a little on the cheap side Bacon strips were as thin as paper Eggs tasted like they were from milk carton No flavor and weird texture Not a terribly bad experience Thanks to the friendly staff and prompt service but not the best I’ve experienced either I would say mid tier at best

This is not to rip on the cleaners and casual maintainers of the hotel, but the rooms are in desperate need of renovations:* our room smelled of carcinogenic cleaner (new car smell)* the carpet was frayed* the smoke detectors were falling out the wall* walls were repainted so many times that the doors couldn’t close in their frames without whinnying with frictionDon’t get me wrong This seems like a nice hotel for families; it’s in need of love

Alexandra Alvarez

The room smells of mold We had a late check in only to get a dirty room with a broken microwave They refused to change our room or fix our microwave

They also claim to have no managers working all weekend The parking is $29 They have loud people staying there and partying and the front desk does nothing about it One of the front desk workers literally walked past a room of guest partying in their room when she came to “check” our microwave Worst Hyatt I’ve stayed at I would never recommend to anyone or stay here

khrisztian

Great apart-hotel close to Rosecrans Ave / Aviation Easy parking and fully equipped rooms with electric stove, dishwasher and sink Desk and queen bed

Free WiFi and Chromecast on the TVCOVID changed housekeeping mechanics: now you need to request room service at front desk (once every 3 days)Breakfast is included, but very basic Scrambled eggs never met the eggs Ie: they don’t seem “real” But good enough buffet overall

Stayed at this TownePlace Suites for 3 nights for leisure Overall, I had an excellent stay The front desk staff was friendly, and check-in was quick and easy

Rooms felt clean and were very spacious The lobby was bright and spacious, and served as a nice work area The free breakfast was surprisingly good, and it included both hot and cold options One thing to note, though, is that the pull-out sofa bed is not comfortable; the mattress is rather hard Finally, and perhaps this is a Marriott thing, but I wonder why a mobile key can’t just be issued upon completing mobile check-in Overall, though, I had a great stay and would consider this property again Great location near LAX, too

debi karpinski

Upon arriving the lobby is bright, nicely decorated, ample seating for casual discussions and also for work The pool area is very nice with areas to sun bathe as well as areas near the pool with couches and pit areas with an outdoor fireplace The room was clean, spacious and well appointed

The mini kitchen is a plus when traveling and in a location for more than 1 nightStaff was extremely accommodating and extremely friendlyAs a business traveler, I wish this was brand was in all the cities I travel to

Stay Focused

If you are looking for a all in one hotel this is it! This hotel has a little something for everyone They have a beautiful outdoor pool area with access to two full functional grills, next to a lovely fireplace pit The rooms are spacious and very eco friendly, the kitchen has a nice eclectic stove with pans and kitchen wear to make a nice meal and serve breakfast, lunch or dinner

The Belamar has been our favorite hotel before being apart of Hilton and only became better after, as we are Hilton Honors Members currently The location itself is on the edge of a residential and commercial area in Manhattan Beach Ca As soon as you pull into the driveway you get a sense of a calmer, cozier era

Walking into the lobby you are welcomed by an eclectic theme and smiling faces From the record collection inside the door, to the open lobby surrounded by windows and the white stone floors it is truly an experience You feel as if Rock Hudson or Audrey Hepburn may stroll by at any moment The standard rooms are clean and neat with a record player at the ready The room in minimally furnished with plenty of artistic expression on the walls The large Television can break the magic but is a must for any weary traveler to relax with The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the Bar/Restaurant is now open with plenty of treats for any pallet There is just something about this location that has brought us back every chance we get

Brandon Frandsen

Beautiful southern California inspired hotel, room was well furnished, light and comfortable, I was asked to get lots of work done without getting distracted or uncomfortable The record player in my room was a unique experience enhancing touch Balcony was great when it was warm out

It is off a busy road so I heard of people having complaints about noise but I didn’t notice it from my room

locationLocAtioN!!! This hotel was in a beautiful neighborhood Very friendly neighbors It was exceptionally clean And the staff was very accommodating I also loved the free coffee in the morning I also enjoyed the free fruit water that was out daily The only thing I didn’t like was the canned vegetable soup from the restaurant, but the calamari was good I also had a small water leak on the floor of my bathroom ( very minor) The hotels about 15 miles from the beach There are several restaurants and shops by the beach We had a great stay here I would definitely return

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here from start to finish I loved having a patio! And the view was really nice I don’t think there were any negatives here

Self parking is across the street, which can be a little inconvenient, but it makes sense for where the hotel is located The rooms were clean, the staff was nice and welcoming, and I am SO thankful for the hot breakfast every morning!! Definitely worth another stay

Lena “Foodrients”

Had wonderful stay here while in LA, great staff and so helpful! Also in our room we had white noise sound machine , what a great thing for light sleepers like me! Every hotel should have one !There is fresh free breakfast every morning(including an option with dairy free milk, that is rare ), free airport shuttle, location is close to everywhere: grocery, Starbucks,in-n-out, Hawaiian bbqWe parked in a lot close to the loft and it was very convenient Loved it ! Thanks for having such a lovely hotel

Lety A

I had a ground level room, I heard my upstairs neighbors every night I was there Sounded like they were stomping around for hours, kept me up for most of the nights When I would finally get to sleep I would wake up to different neighbor’s shower getting started

The pool was way smaller than what I thought The breakfast was good I asked to extend my stay just for 4 hours but they said they weren’t too busy to accommodate me and needed the room for other guests They suggested they hold my luggage and I could return to use the shuttle which was a hassle Won’t be going back to this location

My stay was great I haven’t been to the Sheraton Gateway since 2008 and I love all the upgrades they did I was in town to give my father a proper burial, he passed away a few weeks ago

The bed was very comfy, no complaints at all Hot water was available no matter what time I showered I requested housekeeping service daily and they came, cleaned my room and delivered fresh towels daily This hotel is very convenient to the airport whether you drive or not, shuttle to and from the airport, valet parking or self parking available as well I will be coming back to LA next year and will be staying here again:)

শরিফ রাজ

Overall, this was a comfortable place to stay I would avoid taking the shuttle provided as you are packed like sardines on a small bus There is a sign that says no standing as you enter the bus but the driver crammed as many people and luggage in as he could so some people stood the entire ride to the hotel (see picture)

This was a last minute stay due to a flight cancellation so that could be the reason Once I got off the shuttle, the woman at the front desk was very accommodating I had an issue with the room key not working but she was able to quickly resolve The room was spacious and it had a coffee maker which was great! There was also complimentary water provided There was an issue with the shower head that was not able to be fixed so I ended up just taking a bath instead Besides the shuttle, everything else was pretty good and the staff was accommodating

MiMi Nicole

My husband stayed here for two nights and truly enjoyed our accommodations The facility looked newly renovated, the rooms were extremely spacious, and even though we were very close to the airport, the room was very well insulated from sound There wasn’t much to walk to around the area, especially at night, but it was very central to a high-traffic area of hotels, and delivery services were always very speedy

Also, I left some very important items in the safe in the room, so I wanted to take a moment to thank Ashlyn O from housekeeping for being honest and turning them in It is nice to know that there are honest people still out there

Such an Exquisite Hotel and Grandeur presence Entire hotel immaculate and rooms are well appointed I like that the sink is outside/separate of the shower and toilet area

The shutter that divides the two beds is a genius idea The decor is elegant and traditional but yet felt modern The room size was massive for a standard double room It felt like a 500 sq ft room The coffee in the room was very goodUnfortunately, we only stayed one day and arrived late so we didn’t get to eat at the restaurant or enjoyed the outside courtyard nor the many areas to explore and to just relax and soak in the atmosphere We did, however, get to enjoy the fireplace while having a late night snack I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant as the food smelled heavenly Additionally, there are many shopping centers/plaza across the street which we didn’t get to take advantage of as well The entire area is completely safe and very well lit as it is a very lively town The hotel does have a private parking for a fee I will definitely come back and stay longer

Lisa Ford

Ayres Hotel is comfortable and homely Staff are friendly and we loved the pool and spa Rooms were serviced daily and everything was spotlessly clean and today

Location is good, next time I would ask for a room not overlooking the freeway Stayed here with my husband and adult son Plenty of room for the three of us and privacy between the beds and the shutters were a great idea We will be back!

Lynne Henley

The employee that was on the desk the night of my arrival was very professional and he greeted me with a sincere and warm welcome I was so exhausted from the work day, that he had to literally verbally guide me to my room The room was exceptionally clean throughout which made the night very relaxing for me

I will truly recommend this hotel to my guest and use it again for local retreats

The stay at this hotel was excellent Staff were friendly and the amenities were very enjoyable My wife and I played basketball, worked out at the gym, went in the pool and hot tub, enjoyed watching some football in the lounge, and enjoyed a peaceful outside sitting area near a fireplace at night

We also have to thank our front desk check in associate extra as we let her know we were on our honeymoon and she provided us with complimentary free breakfast for our stay to celebrate! Along with all this, the room was clean and modern, with a TV and desk and even a mini-refrigerator Being on the top floor came with an excellent view of Hawthorne as well!

Clean and good hotel near the airportSpacious lobby and friendly staffClean spacious room with good amenities

The gym is good as wellThe place is well located near the airport but with no noise at all There is plenty of stores nearbyThey have also a bar where you can order drinks/sandwiches but no buffetThe only downside was the smoking smell in the room despite being smoking free facility

Larissa

Parking, lobby environment, and bed is great!!!! We just stayed for one night However, the bathroom shower floor was dirty Like actual dirty foot prints inside the shower and dirt accumulating on the side

Not sure why half of the door of shower was missing Super Weird design Water gets on the floor Also some of the lights were not working for a bit, had to call front desk In my opinion Not worth the price for my room A deposit is required!! Ask for receipt before you leave!!! I did enjoy the environment though Didn’t hear any noises on the fifth floor

We came here for a two-day retreat and had a fabulous time due to the attentiveness of the staff Our event planner, Danielle, was outstanding as well as Jesse, who took care of our every need, and Joshua, who provided delicious, carefully curated and crafted breakfast and lunch – he took the time to listen to our vegan and gluten-free staff to cook specialty meals for them, as if they had their own private chef We had such a good, relaxing time and the front desk staff made us feel at home

Enjoyed the fitness room and other amenities in this sweet little hotel It’s sitting there off the freeway so it’ looks ominous But it’s so quietly and lovely inside

Mario de la Pena

Front desk staff was warm and welcoming But the hotel room itself wasn’t that great The smoke detector was barely secured and was just hanging by the wires

The bathroom sink had a strong unpleasant odor whenever you run water The bathtub plug was missing The carpet was dirty The refrigerator’s shelving was not installed correctly The hallways smelled like weed(but thats probably from the other guests) Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:40am asking when we will be checking out which is contrary to what they advertise(staff will not bother you unless you ask for service) Breakfast costs $12 for continental or $16 for hot food, which isn’t worth it I don’t think I would return to stay at this location in the future

Miki Murphy

Hotel was average Had noisy neighbors didn’t sleep Although did get informed of free breakfast when arrived by cold food selection was actually 16 dollars When requested room to be cleaned as staying the week (per signs in room) was told they don’t clean them and I could borrow a vacuum if I wanted

Covid mask mandates are lifted, not sure what the reason a room can’t be cleaned Or remove signs that say you can request room cleaning during your stay

Absolutely darling, wonderful housekeepers, super helpful and even gave us water bottles every morning Awesome ladies However, that’s kind of where the good ends

The third floor doors were permanently closed, so you have to go all the way down to ground floor from the parking garage, across the lobby, then wait for an elevator to the room floors Funny how all of the surrounding properties– even the 2 and 3 star properties– haven’t had this problem Then you deal with the parking passes for the THIRTY DOLLARS A DAY parking Once again, way more expensive than competing hotels, and my pass kept getting invalidated overnight even though it was -supposed- to be active for my full stay, so even more hassle The rooms themselves arefine? Like seriously, the only thing that set it apart from a Motel 6 was that the shower had decent pressure and a shower wand attachment Otherwise I could have spent half the money for the same room, maybe even a nicer one But worst of all, their downstairs cafe claims it was Starbucks, but they don’t have the right brands, they don’t have the right machines, and none of their pastries are Starbucks, either The lattes tasted worse than what I could have gotten down the road at the gas station, and their pastries were somehow even worse Vending machine danishes are tastier– and fresher

The lobby and room was clean, the front desk was just OK, not very excited to help but not negative Self parking was easy just behind the hotel They have a rental car service in the lobby which is convenient and the bar and grill was just what we needed after a long trip

Oh and the Lady at the small gift shop were we picked up a few late night sodas was awesome to talk with she was such a super positive person the kind that just brightens your day

Upscale hotel on Century Blvd about 2 miles from LAX Sound insulated rooms keep airport noise outside A free shuttle runs every 15 minutes to LAX, though it can easily take 30 minutes to get to Terminal 1 in the morning, so don’t be deceived by the relatively short distance

Remember, it’s LA traffic and you’re near LAX, which makes it even worseIf you are driving, parking is $30 self park or $50 valet Valet will only let you park in the circle for about 20 minutes to check in unless there’s a line at check in and you grouse about the short grace period FYI, there’s a ton of street parking behind the hotel It’s light industrial, and looks sort of deserted on weekends, but there are definitely cars parked back there YMMVBellhop service is good if you need a luggage cart Ours provided a quick rundown of the amenities available on our way to the room and was friendly and helpfulThere’s a pool and spa on the third floor, and the rooms are decent, though I expect that the rooms have varying degrees of luxuriousness Regardless, you should expect a clean room, a comfortable bed, hot showers with rain heads (pretty sure there aren’t water restrictors installed) Towels are a not bath sheet size, but at least there are 4 provided Shampoo is good for one head of long hair or two with short

Stayed a week on Family vacationIn a pretty good location, fairly close to several attractions/entertainment options Beautiful beach within 8min of hotel; Manhattan Beach/Pier (Less busy than Santa Monica)Good staff service, with good breakfast, and reception food n beverage options

The Hotel does a decent job keeping the facility and rooms clean Just needs to be cleaned more frequently, if possible, and a little more thoroughlyOverall, a pretty satisfactory stay for the week!!!

The hotel located on the 405 But you don’t hear nothing They’re very kind clean, and just did remodel

Very good service! very recommend!! we had a lot of fun and a answer of all our requestLess good: If the Check is in 15:00 the room will not be ready before! also we were there 14 nights and the GYM where close because of broken mirror that didn’t fixed!but still we are recommended for this place the feeling it’s good you will love it

Overall the staff in the kitchen area really made our stay pleasant The Mexican and Filipino lady always greeted us with a smile each morning and offered to make waffles prior to it being busy, the free dinner offered from Mon-Thurs was an extra added bonus too, free wine selections and beer craft on tap The ladies offered to take our plates it was next level service

The cleanliness of the hotel was amazing only down fall was the fact that house keeping is only offered on certain days unless you request it with 24hours notice No daily house keeping Parking was $18 per day Another issue I had was they only had one set of elevators so if your room is on the other side of the building it was a far walk to the elevators There was stairs but it could be an issue if you have to carry things up etc overall nice hotel

This is kind of unfair, we’re visiting from Las Vegas/Nevada and the only thing I can really compare to is world class hotelsPros:Nice looks, setup close to the airport (we were in town on business AT the airport, that was awesome), food in the morning with, interior design looks nice There was a painting class in the lobby “sip n paint” people ordered drinks at their bar

The atmosphere was pleasant Hotel staff were friendly All in all, I really only had 2 issues with the place, and 1 desire missedCons:1 Price point(s), if you book the same price for 200$ in Vegas; you can either expect a mini penthouse or comps for shows/foods, 200 for just the room/no pool, that’s excessive Price point also means 26$ to park my own car is a little crazy Valet services are free where I come from, they make great tips Parking on the street side is literally free, 26$ is excessive Price point also means not charging 10$ for a beer in the lobby “convenience” store, that’s excessive2 Paper thin walls; listening to every guest entering and exiting, ambulances, fire trucks; definitely woke us more then once It wasn’t usually doors slamming, it was the locking mechanisms and handles At 2am nobody wants to hear shotguns rack, you know? (“Clack-clack”) metal on metalDesire missed; we’re here as a family not much to do as a family No pool, exercise room isn’t exactly fun for a kid, paint n sip class (kids shouldn’t be surrounded by alcohol in the lobby/bar lobby… I wouldn’t call that kid friendly but not a con for an adult), try and make them feel welcome go to the 99Cent store, grab some coloring books and cheap washable markers/offer it to them There just really wasn’t anything available to entertain a kid

First time at this property, second time staying at the AC brand of hotels If you have an early flight out of LAX, this place is perfect as it’s only one mile from the airportThe hotel feels really new and is in very good shape

The rooftop bar was perfect for a late night drink and bite to eat Super friendly and helpful staff Room was clean and comfortable

I just stayed there for a week and it was a really great hotel I know it’s not fashionable to stay by the airport, but I was working in different parts of LA and it was relatively convenient, even in traffic The building seems brand new and the room was in great shape

The value for the money was amazing I chose this place over others because the reviews of the other comparably priced hotels all mentioned noise, which there was none of at the Cambria I’ll definitely stay there again The mattress in my room could have used an update, but otherwise I have nothing bad to say

Ian Milatz

I started staying here in October, of 2021 and stay here every time I am in town It’s quiet, the food is good, and the staff is excellentFor work it’s hard to find good parking at most hotels around LA , but 20$ for your stay with a large open lot with good privacy

No problem parking large work trucks even when the hotel was packed I couldn’t beat this pricing at any other nearby hotelI stayed here on many separate occasions and have waiting to post a review The quality is consistent

Valentina Oprea

This is definitely the best pet friendly hotel in LAX ❤I was greeted by warm and friendly staff, and was able to check-in quickly and without incident The room was modern and clean which is really appreciated by us and by our little dog Our Stay was nice and I felt well-rested

No complaints Can not wait to come back with my baby girl 😍
