In the morning went for breakfast buffet and we were informed that they did not have the Buffet that they What happened?our last day I was trying to stay one extra day and I ask two hours before our check out if my room or others was available, they assured me it is available and other roomsAt 10:30 I called front desk that I want to check out since our plan didn’t work They would not give me an hour time to check out The lady at front said that my room has been given to someone else and there are no other rooms available and we have to leave immediately She said that’s the hotel policy I had to beg for 30 minutes extra time to get the whole family with all kinds of stuff out of the room It was unbelievable to be treated like this at this place so-called resortWe have been to many real resorts

Came for a nice weekend with my family Overall it’s good but for the price I would expect more The pool is enjoyable, however we all left with an insane amount of bug bites!! The wait for drinks was way way longer on Saturday morning than Friday

My room was not very clean There was hair in the shower and on the toiletMy son found used cough drops under the bed thinking they were candy! Was not happy with thatIt could be a great place but needs more renovations for the cost!

I can’t say enough about this hotel The location is within walking distance of a restaurant strip! The view is so serene and beautiful! The Manager on Sunday was absolutely 💯 fabulous He made sure that our stay was great and willing to help anyway possible

Everyone there from the front to the resturant was fabulous The breakfast was fantastic and we also enjoyed the 2 complimentary alcoholic beverages we received at the evening reception, as well as a few light snacks The infinity pool was very nice and the rooms were extremely nice with a large bedroom, separated living area, and bathroom and we had a walk around balcony 😀 Our experience at The Embassy in Woodland for Father’s Day, was an excellent, pleasant, & serene stay! We loved it and will be back!

Perfect for a last minute staycation with my family If you book and check-in via the app like I did, still go to the front desk to get your key (you’ll need it for the parking garage) and you happy hour card The entire staff I encountered including the front desk associates , bartenders and servers were all very knowledgeable and friendly

Everything worked as it should Water pressure is light, but I’m ok with saving water The thermostat ran very cold, but it’s Houston so I’m not going to complain Breakfast was pretty good Lots of decent options, though their eggs were a bit on the over-processed side The location is very good with groceries and restaurants nearby I reserve 5 stars for the high-end hotels, but I had a nice experience and would have no problem staying here again

We had a fantastic stay here! Hotel was upscale, was in a safe area, and impeccably cleanThe hotel is right on the river walk and a 5 minute walk to the mall on well maintained sidewalks Restaurant and Starbucks downstairs for convenience

Loved the little details like a makeup mirror and recycling bins in the rooms! Blackout curtains were great, and there was plenty of room to lounge

The Waterway Marriott is such a pristine and accommodating hotel! The overnight staff were so kind and helpful The amenities are abundant; I enjoyed the treadmills in the gym area a lot The single king bed rooms are SO pretty and the halls were nice and quiet through the night (I had arrived pretty late and was thoroughly pleased with this aspect)

One really awesome stand-out point was that the front desk had fliers ready at check in with so much helpful information on it, including the times that hotel renovations could be heard I highly recommend taking advantage of the mobile Marriott Bonvoy member benefits and choosing this hotel as a place to stay!

The lobby had computers, lounge chairs, fresh fruit water and fruit The only thing that could improve is the room service Our beds weren’t made out of the 5 nights we stood here I’m not sure if that’s a Hyatt or Texas thing It’s minor, but every hotel I’ve ever stayed in, the beds were always made Overall, we had a great experience and would consider staying here again next time we’re in town

Stayed overnight to celebrate my daughter’s birthday The staff went above and beyond – cannot thank them enough for making my daughter feel extra special on her birthday The property is well maintained with chic decor and great amenities (pool, spa, restaurant, meeting rooms)

First off, I’m a repeat client of the ZaZa Memorial location, staying at the hotel 2-4 nights per month for work travel on average Typically my experience is fantastic, case and point, I advise others to stay there when traveling to Houston However, last Monday while traveling to Houston again for work, I initially had issues booking my room due to a server issue on their website

I was eventually able to book a room around 2pm on the afternoon of my stay When I arrived at the hotel, there was a long line of folks trying to check in, which is unusual, but I quickly overheard they continued to have computer issues that was slowing the check in process After 45 minutes waiting to check in, it was my finally my turn As soon as I began the check in process, I was told that my reservation was actually made at the Dallas location not the Memorial location Whether that was a computer glitch or user error is unclear But after asking to cancel the Dallas reservation and rebook at memorial, I was told that wasn’t possible And unbelievably, there was nothing they could do to book a room and I would need to find a different hotel As a client who values the experience ZaZa typically provides, I’m frankly shocked at their response and unwillingness to help me I understand that technology issues can happen, but the attitude with which they dismissed me, was disappointing to say the least Issues happen, but the response to them is ultimately what makes a great client experience

Definitely a great experience I love the pool and the pool staff and valet staff were exceptional I wish there were more options on the pool menu and it’s inconvenient to exit the pool area to grab towels

Also I think the minimum for the cabanas is a little high considering they are so aAll I also am surprised no streaming in the room I don’t mind paying for movies so to have to sit through commercials super annoying! Overall a great experience though and a worthwhile staycation

We needed a place to stay for a few days and thought it’d be nice to have a small kitchenette and hang out near the Katy Asian townOverall, it’s a decent place with free breakfast Note, it’s a pet-friendly hotel and they don’t separate the rooms so if you have severe pet allergies, you can check with the staff to try and get a room that didn’t have a pet previously

For example, Jasmine was awesome and helped us out as much as she couldIt was safe and fairly quiet though sometimes you’ll hear the occasional pet and footsteps from above Let’s not forget the door slams from your neighborsIt’s also just a few minutes away from the Katy Asian town where you can pick up all kinds of great food, desserts, and groceries

Bed was fine for me, and pillows were medium to soft- I like that The room HVAC unit is in the wall, and is noisy, but doesn’t run very often Breakfast doesn’t have lots of options but, it’s something: oatmeal, toppings, cereal, various milks, some fresh fruit, bagels, muffins, pre made waffles, and some (tasty) egg options The best part was the lady running it- very friendly Overall the hotel decor and space is clean and tidy I thought the weekday price was very fair for everything offered at $116 after taxes

Overall great experience and great customer service On the side of resorts some of the little things did get me

the television in the room had poor volume and there were very limited channels maybe 16 total There were no options to connect to Netflix or other streaming options Though the point is usually to be out in the boardwalk when staying here the little things like this when your trying to unwind has an effect on the overall experience of the stay This does not detract from the overall experience but as it applies to the Inn specifically this is something I would like to seem them upgrade on The front desk was very helpful and prompt with responses I would like to have seen them have a continental breakfast included with the cost but unfortunately there is not at this time If having the breakfast is not possible then maybe some dining dollars for the next door grille would be appealing Will be comparing other Landry resorts in the future to see any contrasts Again, overall, pleasant experience and would recommend for families to experience

The location is great You are literally right on the boardwalk and close to the restaurants and attractions The live music and the train ride could be an issue if you are sensitive to that but we enjoyed it

We paid more to stay here than other places in the area in hopes of getting a top notch room also Our room could have used more attention to detail The shutter blinds on the balcony door and windows were broken and in need of repair as well as the weather stripping on the bottom of the door The ottoman had a large RIP in it The tub in the bathroom had old stains and should be re-caulked The woodwork in the bathroom could use a fresh coat of paint as there were several chips in the paint Also , the pool liner needs some major attention Several areas are showing serious signs of wear and tear If it sounds like I am being picky yes Premium price should get you premium quality Management should really give the place a serious quality control once over if they expect repeat business

This is a nice hotel Very clean and decorated beautifully The only downside I could find was the water pressure for showers was horrible

And the outside noises from the train and music lasts pretty late in the night if you have little ones trying to sleep However, I loved being so close to the boardwalk and being able to just go to our room if we were tired

So far what I liked about the room is that it was really big the restroom was clean I like the fact that you had the shelf set up with all the towels The sink by the restroom had a coffee maker I thought that was really nice Also in the closet there was a blow dryer a iron and the iron table to iron clothes some hangers and the little luggage holder very impressive

Now my concern that I didn’t like was that there was a door in the middle of the room had a childproof plastic knob holder on the door which I don’t know what that was used for kind of suspicious The AC didn’t work it was hot in the room it never cooled down and the shower the cold water didn’t work so you had no cold water I like the fact that you had a table in the middle that was really cute and everything else was fine

This place was perfect for the price! No one to talk to about actual issues & don’t expect the owner or any manager to contact guests about any concerns Better to spend $25-$50 more a night for a nicer higher quality hotel than this run down horrible hotel Constant police activity, low lives and crackheads at this location It’s very loud, only time its quiet is if no other guest is staying on the same floor or building Disgusting swampy smell overall in most rooms Water is never consistent Pressure low then high Cold barely any hot water Workers always lurking around invading your privacy opening doors without permission etc other people We spoke to also had similar experiences yet there is no one here that cares about the guests They don’t have actual breakfast or any nice pool like they show in the photos The guest laundromat is out of order This place is false advertising They need to update the photos and details online Do not stay here better to go elsewhere- save yourself money & a headache One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in south Texas Others have experienced infestation of roaches & staff trying to charge guests for towels etc This place needs to be put on reset It needs New owners, new staff, new upgraded rooms or just needs to be shut down that’s how bad it is especially if you stay longer than one daygood luck! I’ll never stay here again

Bathroom has a vent going into the room next door and if I was a peeping Tom I could easily entertain myself watching someone take a shower, or worse I pinned a towel over it Very weird! I noticed light coming from it when the light was off in our bathroom Had it not been for that I would have never noticed it The better view would be of the water I’ve had better experiences at cheaper hotels Not really a place I myself will go back to, unless I had no choice Wasn’t the worst, but definitely not the best

Great hotel for runners! The lake front rooms have a nice sunrise view of Clear Lake but the best feature for me is the 10 mile running loop right at the hotel More paths extend from there This is also a popular area for bicyclists

Fitness center and pool are not special Breakfast was delicious – $19 buffet exceeded my expectations

I had a wonderful experience at Sara’s Inn First off, the check in process was really smooth and no human interaction was required The room, bed sheets and bath room were very cleaned

The neighborhood was very safe and quiet It is close to several good restaurants and only takes about 15mins to the downtown areas Alex and her team were very very responsive to text messages My stay had a minor bump as I forgot my purse (that had my money, checkbook and debit card in it) But they handled it very well and help secure my stuff until I came to pick it up Would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know

We didn’t actually rent a room here, but we did crash with some friends It was a very nice establishment However, the reason for my review was to make management aware of a safety concern of mine

Our friend has a big truck and we tried to park in the garage It was late at night so we didn’t see any signs visible enough to state the clearance height Yes, it was right above the entrance stating 5’10″which is a very low clearance standard for parking garages is approx 98in, just over 8ft If I may suggest, The teal color you have for the clearance sign above the entrance should be in yellow and black font stating the caution low clearance It will stand out, plus its a universal caution identifier ⚠️ In addition, the yellow clearance bar should be placed on the outside of the entrance just at the beginning of the driveway It makes absolutely no sense for one to be inside the garage after one has already passed a 5’10” clearance and is now able to drive through a 6″ clearance throughout the garage In the nicest way possibleHere’s your sign! 🤦‍♀️

We stayed here for the National LCMS Youth Gathering, booked our room weeks in advance and when we got there we had to wait 8 hours to get them when we should’ve got them at 3 Our group went into Elevator A, not an excessive amount of people, and we were all kids The elevator dropped a few feet, the doors slammed shut, and 2 guys in our group had to pry the door open

We called security 2 times and they never came so we had to take care of it ourselves It’s nice that it is connected to the mall, and the pool is really nice, but the couch in our room that was supposed to be a pullout wasn’t Bathrooms were really nice, but they never took out our overflowing trash We saw cockroaches there

The elevators had everyone scrambling trying to get them figured out Not to mention I checked in under a 90 dollar rate next day I check out and charged 340 dollars, I won’t get into detail because it is too long but it started with the younger employee who checked me in I thought I had provided everything I was suppose to but I found out after checking out that I did not management refused to help me or honor the original rate That speaks volumes to me Such a small situation management could have helped me but they refused I would never stay here again

Stayed here for one night to explore nightlife in downtown Very nice staff and very accommodating We checked in very late at around 9pm, but they said it was fine as long as you check in they day of between 3pm – 2am the next morning

Parking was interesting, it was an underground parking garage with some pretty gnarly art Taste may vary but I thought it was really cool, and in the elevator they let you know it is most definitely not graffiti which is funnyParking was $15 a day, and guests can park until 9pm before towing occursWe stayed in a room with two beds and there were 4 of us A little tight but the view of downtown was quite nice, and the room was in good condition We didn’t plan to stay in the room much anyways, so for the price this stay was worth itThey also have free breakfast on Weekdays from 6-9am and Weekends from 7-10amThere was a false fire alarm that occurred which stopped the elevators, but it was a minor inconvenience, and was attended to rather quickly from the fire department, which made me feel betterOverall I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a cheap stay with good service and good rooms

Came here with my friend for Easter Weekend, and enjoyed the close proximity it is to everythingThis hotel had a very clean and presentable lobby Parking is only $15 a day, and there is a parking representative (during the evening/night hours) who will help instruct you on the parking process

This location in Houston offers the best downtown view if you’re seeking for it! One of the top Holiday Inn hotels I’ve ever been too!! Rooms are fantastic!! it is very near to all tourist activities & malls , has metro transportation on the front of Hotel Breakfast is average It could be better!! My room is on the 12th floor and has a stunning view of the downtown area both during the day and at night I had a great time and would love to return in the future!
