This is a great Hampton Inn (Hilton) The staff here was super friendly from the maid service to the front desk, everyone was helpful and friendlyThe hotel is very well kept up and clean and the two rooms we had were big, clean, and modern

Coffee bar is up all day and the free morning breakfast is well done with a number of good choicesOverall we enjoyed our stay There is a pool but we did nit try it out It did look very clean and well maintained

LaDonna Levine-Slayton

I never write reviews but

after a rough nights sleep I feel like I should I expected a better bed for $200 a night! I woke up all night long with pins and needles in my arms and hands The bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood! I had 2 queen beds so I thought maybe it was just the one bed, so I tried the other The Goldilocks approach didn’t help I had the same results there So disappointed! The room was clean and the desk staff was super nice, but I didn’t get a good night’s rest for sure

This hotel will leave you feeling relaxed It is a modernized hotel with very spacious rooms, clean beds and a lot of amenities The whole property is spotlessly clean! I personally enjoyed the outdoor hot tub along with the fire pit

The outdoor furniture was very comfortable to sit in and relax after a long day on the road This is not an express, so complimentary breakfast is not provided, but they have a restaurant on site; The Burger Theory I didn’t get any breakfast there, but I had a couple drinks the evening before It has a quaint atmosphere Overall, the stay was quite pleasant

Gene Hirschel

This hotel is all a modern hotel should be Rooms are spacious, the bed was possibly the most comfortable bed I was ever in Pillows were plentiful and wonderful

The staff are well trained, pleasant, smiling and all in all welcoming We stayed an extra day just because I think that alone is the best review point!I have just one note for management:In the restaurant there is a door to the outside tables that has a restrictive auto close mechanism I saw several of the waitstaff struggle taking food and trays in and out This situation can easily lead to a serious injury of either a guest or staff This can easily be ameliorated with an automatic door That would be much cheaper than a lawsuit or a worker’s compensation case

Ingrid Kacaniova

This was the nicest hotel during our latest roadtrip I believe somebody gave a real thought into designing rooms

It had the same pattern all over from carpet, sheets, wallpapers, even the window blinders Also the colors were matching I appreciated it so much we decided to stay one more night 😁 Beds were very comfortable I have no idea about TV channels since we never watch TV Internet connection was great People in reception were smiley and super helpful Hotel was new that is why no old odor anywhere, just smell of clean spacesWhat I really missed was breakfast Not in attached restaurant but hotel breakfast we are used in HI hotelsquite impressed with the rooms in this place Spacious, very clean, comfortable, simple accommodations Plenty of parking for large vehicles Restaurant downstairs was pretty good too Only complaint was the amount of time it took to check in with 3 people ahead of me & only 1 employee working the desk

!!BE AWARE!! I chose this hotel because it allowed pets and was very affordable So I didn’t expect too much But I was decived

Upon our evening check inn the staff was okay Nothing special They seemed to be annoyed to be there The hotel is cute, but maintenance and cleaning are very obviously not a priority Some of the bulbs were out in our room There were cigarette butts on the patio The tables and counters hadn’t been cleaned The trash cans were gross and covered in gross dried substances And there were stains on the bed linens Super gross!!! I was told and signed for the charge of $64 for the room and a $25 pet fee Upon checkout I was charged for additional fees that I had never seen at a hotel before or signed for There was an “Auditorium fee” and then a “Pet auditorium” fee All in all instead of $90 for the room I ended up paying $120 When I asked why I was charged these additional unexplained fees, the staff was rude and short and offered no explanation other than “I don’t know, hotels just charge stuff” I realize and was fine with this not being a swanky hotel But at the very least it should have been clean and they should be upfront about their prices Deeply disappointed I would rather sleep on my car than stay here again

Mat Rapoza

Our room was clean, although sheets for the pullout bed would have been nice The hotel itself does look worn and needs more cleaning, but not bad for the price point However, the outdoor pool was on an adjacent property, and that place was so run down, it shouldn’t even be rented out, imo

Breakfast was fine, pretty standard fare, but please, get a new toaster the current one easily burns bread and is extremely hot to the touch, it is dangerous Finally? I’ll say that staff were always pleasant to us, which is very much appreciated

Anna Uher

I’m sorry to be leaving a negative review, because I’ve never done this before in my life But this hotel is THAT bad that I can’t not say anything about this place First off, it is absolutely FILTHY! Stained dirt caked carpet throughout the hotel with little bits of trash everywhere

We were eating breakfast and the curtains had visible layers of dust on them, cobwebs everywhere, and dirty windows, walls, pretty much every visible thing is dirty and stained Our room had old rippled carpet and the bed had very visible dirt on the coverlet There was a sofa in our queen suite and it was also extremely stained I didn’t feel at all comfortable with my kids hanging out in there The front desk ladies were very kind and apologetic, but you offering to have the bedding changed doesn’t really do us any favors when we’ve been driving all day with 3 exhausted little kids and it’s 11:00 I’m extremely frustrated that that’s all that was offered to me after that It wasn’t the cheapest hotel in town at $155 with tax and a dated hotel is fine but not a filthy AND dated hotel I can’t believe this place is still operating! I will say the location is great with the falls right across the street That’s all I can think of to say that’s not terrible Sorry to the manager for saying I wouldn’t write a bad review but man, you should’ve done something other than offer clean bedding at 11:00 pm

We stayed at Motel West for two nights The room was clean and tidy and had shampoo, conditioner, and lotion in addition to clean towels, sheets, fridge and microwave The whole motel was clean

The location was close to all amenities and many attractions Most of all, the staff was very nice and helpful We had some issues with our booking However, Amber was nice and patient to help us over the phone several times as well as when we arrived at the motel until the issue was resolved We’d stay here when we are in town again

Rooms: you get what you pay for If your just looking for somewhere to lay your head and get a fresh shower this place is great The price is very fair and affordable

Its cleaner than what you expect Parking is perfect as wellService: Young lady at the front desk wasn’t rude but wasn’t very inviting never smiled once or made eye contact but she was very informative and helpful and explained everything we needed to know very well I get some people have bad days and some people just don’t like to smile but if you work in the hospitality industry you should be able to crack a smile or at the very least make eye contactLocation: Perfect! Right off the highway and surrounded by food and groceries 😋Our overall experience was perfect for what we needed We are very pleased and will for sure stay here again without hesitation

If you want a place that is reasonably priced and operated by genuine people who care than this it is!!! Honestly this is the most quaint motel I have seen in a long time Clean room, working ac, clean exterior, no shady people in parking lot at all hours of the night, pool and hot tub Everything the first motel we chose on Friday night did not have

We will definitely return here again in between business and pleasure trips! Thank again for taking the time to chat with me this morning before check out!!!!

The Shilo Inn of Idaho Falls may have been quite the place at one point, but it falls far from desirable in modern daysThe Shilo Inn is close to the highway, which is a good convenience factor However, that alone doesn’t raise the recommendation factor

Immediately upon entry you see signs for no smoking, but the entire hotel smells of yester-year smoking habits Some ceilings, particularly in the hallways are stained yellowThe room we had was not clean, and one could arguably say that the sheets weren’t even changed from the last visitor(s) to the room Hair was found on pillows and underneath the primary blankets Similarly, the shower/tub was only marginally clean Soap scum was visible, as well as various hair around the was and in the tub Additionally, the room definitely reeked of smoke On the bright side, the towels seemed cleanI will state that there was a bright and personable younger female working the desk She was nice to talk to and offered dining suggestionsAll on all, I won’t stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are desperate for an accommodation

Don’t forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any hotel This site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you choose this place you for sure will love it I’m sure!Large rooms, really comfy bed with a beauty rest mattress, a bit dated, but clean with good water pressure in the shower I don¿t know if this was a fluke, but it was quiet also Also, the heat was easily controlled and not loud!

Heidi Napier

Nice place to stay We found it to be fairly inexpensive when we booked Hotel was dead though the night we stayed

Bar was dead too Only had two people and was playing music pretty loudly Room was clean and we didn’t hear anyone else through the night However I’m the morning the neighbors were a bit loud leaving and the maids were tremendously loud banging on our door It was 8am on a Saturday so that was a touch frustrating All in all a nice clean place to sleep, but not too much going on for a Friday night

WOW I was *impressed* by this hotel My husband booked it for our wedding night and I didn’t have low expectations, but I definitely was not expecting the amount of detail and attention they give to their rooms and guests Upon walking through the doors, you’re greeted with a luxurious scene that makes you forget you’re in downtown Idaho Falls

The staff is friendly and helpful Then getting into the room, I felt like I had just stepped off a plane straight into a different country They thought of every detail they could to make these rooms feel like they came straight from a foreign country We stayed in Arabia because that and Alaska were the only available rooms We didn’t expect to be blown away by how beautiful it was The tub is huge and jetted with a rainfall shower that made me feel like an absolute Queen There’s a beautiful private sauna inside the room The bed was comfy and beautifully made to fit the theme of the room The complimentary cheesecake was the best I’d ever had and the breakfast exceeded expectations as well They even took the time to congratulate us on our marriage with a personalized note I told my husband this is what I want to do for birthdays from now on! So we’re heading back tonight to stay in Thailand and I’m so beyond excited to see what the room has to offer (and eat that cheesecake I’ve been craving since my wedding day 😅) Thank you, Destinations, for creating such an amazing experience in my hometown 💕

Victor Stewart

Over-the-top attention to details in these BEAUTIFUL themed rooms! Stayed in Egypt the first night, but Hawaii is SO NICE! Waterfall shower, huge jacuzzi jetted tub, I really could go on and on, but you simply MUST see for yourself when in Idaho Falls – there is NO OTHER place to be! On top of that, the management went above and beyond to settle a misunderstanding on the bill, comping us breakfast meals for every day we are here, luxurious robes (you gotta put one of the ridiculously soft things on!), a bath bomb, chocolates and a rose on our bed, seriously – the list goes on and on, I simply cannot say enough! We have stayed in many 4 and 5 star resorts/hotels, and this is right up there at the top – UNFORGETTABLE! Thank you to the owners and management!

Jeff Zellner

Don’t judge a book by its cover The rooms are incredibly detailed We walked up to the hotel not sure what we were getting into, but you quickly forget about that once you step into the gorgeous lobby

We stayed in the Venice themed room & was blown away by the detail The steam shower & jetted tub are incredible The only complaint I would have (but still give the room 5 stars) is the bed Other than that, worth the stay Can’t wait for our next destination!

Stayed overnight, and got in late I went to check in, the Guy at the desk was very nice I got the keys and went and got my kids and mom and our bags

When we got to our room, there was someone already established in that room Went back to the desk and the Front desk Guy had no idea someone was already in that room, was able to change our room The room itself (our 2nd) was ok, the AC wouldn’t shut off and I hate carpet in hotels Didn’t eat breakfast due to just wanting to be on the road ASAP, but looked like typical hotel breakfast Didn’t like the location due to having to go through town to get to it when you’re already tired and have cranky children

Josh

Room was great, checkin was easy, it was the check out that caused problems I am a diamond member and called the morning of the check out around 9am to request a late checkout, we’ll 12 was check out, she had said 12:30

I said ok thank you and went back to bed, around 12:05 a front desk lady comes up and starts aggressively telling me I need to get out now, it’s past my time, I’m slowing down her cleaners and I explained how I extended it Then she proceeds to call me a liar and that she had been there all morning or something and just made it all awkward and rude I didn’t argue with her and told her we are headed out right now, but her attitude was just not good business This has never happened and her tone in how she talks to guest should of been completely different And the fact she’s calling me a liar just is down right rude sad ending for what was a wonderful stay

Pros: front desk ladies were excellentPool clean and open this timeCons: water pressure very weakToilet had trouble flushingPillows needing replacedWent down several times to the breakfast area and all items were empty or almost empty I have had better breakfast during other staysI was pretty disappointed this time I feel the prices are going up but the quality is going down

We stayed one night on 15 May, 2022 Beautiful Hotel Amazing mural in the lobby

Clean Rooms Nice showers Smelled clean The staff was very friendly and helpful They went out of their way to set up a rollaway bed in our room My mother had just come from the ER after an injury, and the lady at the desk RAN to get us a wheelchair and let us use it for the next 12 hours They got us extra soap and things and were all very friendlyGreat experience, decent rate Definitely at the top of our list for Idaho Falls!

MistahKalari

I had mixed opinions about my stay at La QuintaPros- Good Hospitality- Very Clean- Breakfast was decent- Bedding was comfortable- Plenty of hot waterCons- Fan was broken- Had to clean out jets of hot tub, was pretty nasty- Have to stand in shower to turn water on

very cold- THIN WALLS Could hear literally everythingOverall a decent stay, but not worth the $350 a night for a king bed and a hot tub Not the best Not the greatest Not worth my money

The hotel was clean and comfortable We loved the suite for a comfortable space for our family of 5 Gym and pool were both nice and well maintained

Great spot along the river within easy walking of many restaurantsMost of all, every interaction big or small we had with staff members of the hotel was excellent Helpful, extremely polite and friendly We were very impressed The only complaint I had about the hotel was the pillows were too soft, but when we asked for more, they offered a choice of 2 kinds and had them delivered to the room right away

K C

Super impressed! I am an employee of a certain hotel brand, which makes me super critical of things so listen up! This place is doing things right! Every employee I came into contact with provided absolutely incredible service We were also extremely impressed with the room that we were assigned and just completely shocked by the incredible size of the king studio as well as the views (The river is amazing thank you!) When looking around the property itself, you can tell they strive to take care of things

Everything in our room was extremely clean and well taken care of The fire pit outside is a great addition and the pool area was really nice Shout out to maintenance for keeping the hot tub in great shape – we enjoyed it! The breakfast is pretty generic and unfortunately not very good quality, but it seems Marriot controls this because it is pretty much the same across the board no matter where you stay So I cant blame the hotel They did have gluten free options marked and available which was nice for me and the coffee down stairs was perfect I have definitely found the only place I’ll be staying if I have to return to this area Great job Residence Inn!

Philip Smith

Our family of 5 was on a western loop that included stops in SLC and Jackson Hole This hotel was our kids favorite by a long shot The rooms were clean and comfortable

We utilized the pool area and laundry services — both were very well maintained Hotel staff were extremely kind and courteous at every interaction The walking bridge to the Japanese Friendship Garden on the Snake River was an unexpected bonus A great stay Highly recommend!

Hubby nailed it, after 10 days of hotels on our road trip this one wins for both quality and price Front desk was so friendly and the whole place smells like fresh baked cookies Room is clean and spacious with all the amenities, and the bed is a welcome surprise

Also the indoor pool and hot tub are open 24/7, yay late night relaxing tub with no kids!!!

Nik Rama

This would’ve been a four-star rating, but check in was the main reason I had to dock it a star While I know you can check in on the mobile app, we wanted to check in and get a physical card at the front desk There was no one there

We tried making ourselves known by asking if anyone was in the back office I even called the hotel twice Both times, the phone loudly rang in the lobby yet no one came We waited about 20 minutes from 1pm to 1:20pm before we gave up and just checked in to the app to get our roomNow for the positive, the room was fairly clean and very spaciousTheir morning breakfast was a tier above the normal continental breakfast, with multiple flavors of waffles as well as very wide selection of toppings They also had your standard eggs, meat, French toast sticks, cereal, juices, and pastriesThe location is pretty nice, being close to the river and also being a pretty inexpensive hotel right near Yellowstone (about 50 miles away)

I knew there was something special about this place the moment I arrived

but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it After some reading, I learned that this hotel is part of a family owned business called Warren Resort Hotels There is so much attention to detail happening at this property from the neatly manicured grounds to the friendly and helpful staff the wonderful breakfast with home cooked eggs and banana bread My room was immaculately clean This is a place where people care and I truly enjoyed my time there The views are great as well! I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again at this property and will search out a Warren Resort Hotel property on my other Western adventures!

This hotel should have a higher star rating Our family has been traveling for the past month and we have stayed at several hotels Thos hotel is by far one of the best taken care of ones, and the staff is amazing!! It’s obvious by the cleanliness and their attitude they take pride in their work, which is so rare nowadays

Behind great staff is great management, so kudos to them as well! Hands down the best breakfast I’ve had at any hotel so far! We are definitely going to stay here again when we pass through next time A big thank you to the staff at the Driftwood Inn!

I stayed here Mar 7-Mar 10 for a medical reason for my elderly boss The intended stay was just one night and turned into 3 nights Wynette and the ENTIRE crew who worked that week were absolutely amazing! They were incredibly friendly, more then accommodating for my bosses special needs and were very compassionate

I would highly recommend staying there for any reason! It will be the only place that I stay in the future!!! Thank you so much to everyone that was working during my stay!

I wish I had taken photos because our Queen Suite was really nice The beds were comfortable The bathroom was really nice and well kept

I didn’t check in with the front desk staff, my husband did that So when I went to the front desk to ask the location of the ice machine, the lady at the desk asked if I was excited to be picking up my daughter from BYU – Idaho When I asked her how she knew, she said that she saw me walking in with my husband who had checked in with her earlier I was amazed at her memory! I talked to my husband later and he said that she hadn’t been working there that long He said perhaps the reason she remembered is that she had attended BYU – Idaho The staff was above and beyond helpful I dropped and broke the lid to the ice holder and they replaced it and didn’t charge us We checked in July 19th and checked out July 21st, 2022

Beautiful, newly built hotel on the edge of the falls and hiking trail First time ever I was asked which floor I preferred during check-in Decoration is modern and great

Storage in the rooms are designed smartly There is a full snack bar at the front desk (paid) Free bottled water is offered They have a pool table at the lobby Plenty of free parking

Logan at the front desk was incredibly helpful He was so busy and still took the time!Rooms were very clean,Bedding was cleanBathrooms were emasculateGreat soaps provided! Lots of fun activities and great location

The place is nice, clean and has a fun atmosphere The rooms are nice but small, and not kid friendly I love the modern feel and how it is eco friendly

The “queen” mattress does not fit its frame, and the blanket is very thin, and small and the pillows are not comfortable Between my husband snoring and the ac unit being loud I didn’t get much sleep Oh and beware the walls here are thin I could hear my husband talking in our room once I got off the elevator, and our room was far away from the elevator

What a great place to stay while visiting Idaho Falls and the surrounding area The hotel is in tip-top shape with all the amenities you would expect The staff was super friendly and accommodating

Rooms are on the large side yet cozy If you can get one with a view of the river, highly recommended You won’t regret paying a little bit extra Last but not least, the breakfast was amazingI usually stop at Idaho Falls on my way to Tetons or Yellowstone, so this hotel has become my new favorite hotel in the area!

****DO NOT STAY HERE*****Upon checking in and entering my room I observed bed bugs all over the ceiling of the room and spiders and cobwebs on the ceilings as well The hotel switched me rooms and I paid the difference of the room for the different room type I was then kicked out of that room because “the hotel did not know the entirety of my stay” and had overbooked

Even though I legally occupied that room and did not have to move I did them a service and agreed as long as they return the difference of prices between the two room and they agreed Now this being my THIRD room at the same hotel all within 72 hours I verbally told the front staff do not let anyone in my room and in addition to I kept the “Do Not Come In sign” posted on my door knob The room did not have a safe for my valuables so I did not want anyone in my room I come back from being with family and housekeeping had ignored the do not disturb sign and went in the room anyways The staff at the hotel are so ignorant, unkept and useless The mattress of in the room was covered in about 4 per stains , the AC unit was so loud you could barely sleepThis location needs new management from top to bottom

The room was expensive, but seemed ok sence it was one of the nicer hotels in the area The issue is they switched breakfast to costing money I spent $50 to get breakfast for my family

I feel like I was tricked when I came down to eat with my wife and kids They should have made that clear when I got the room It was like a bait and switch I have had problems with Hilton hotels in the past and usually try to stay at Marriott, so I guess its probably my own fault

The hotel itself is good Good location Fairly clean (we did have a hair in our tub/shower)

The temperature control in the room was not good We didn’t sleep great because we would wake up sweating and then the air would kick on and it would be perfect for one minute and then freezing Almost comical Daughter said she couldn’t sleep – woke me up and everyone has their covers kicked off Then I woke up when the air kicked on and a few minutes later everyone trying to get covered back up because it’s cold Needless to say, we are tired

As a Titanium member working my way to Ambassador I stay at the Marriot Bonvoy hotels I’ve never wrote a review but fell the need to with my stay at the Fairfield in Idaho Falls, Idaho You know that saying, when it rains it pours? I was traveling and couldn’t find my wallet and it was check out time so I phoned the front desk who was nice and told her I’ll call her back

5 minutes later I get a call from the Operations Manager who shouldn’t be in that position She was yelling at me and told me 15 minutes to vacate the premise I tried to explain the situation and told her I don’t appreciate her tone with me and she said she was going to call the cops As I’m packing my belonging heading to the elevators there she is with the cops and they had nothing to say I looked at the cops and the look on their face was pure annoyance I’m sure they have better things to do Michelle O’Brien is the Operations Manager who should be fired for her behavior My next step is to report her to corporate because this is not acceptable and something needs to be done I ended booking at room at the Spring Hill Suites and the experience was EXCELLENT! Don’t bother with Fairfield if you want a good experience You know what they say, “Attitude reflects leadership”

Interviewers were incredibly kind all throughout my interview and had an appreciated level of realness interwoven with professionalism11/10 even if I don’t get the job I absolutely enjoyed my interview experience here! Also they gave me hot chocolate Which is an incredibly good bonus!Thank you managers and front desk workers of Fairfield inn!

I was very surprised! the check in process was unique and proficient The room was exceptionally clean and I loved that fact there was no carpeting on the new flooring so that the floor could be kept clean All was spotless, the layout was great

We got a room with a jacuzzi and loved the fact that we treated ourselves to that experience The water was wonderfully hot in the double large shower Breakfast options were a few steps away It was on e of the best values I have ever had for the money

Buggles Nort

Very clean and convenient from Highway 20 The check-in was quick and I already had the keys to my room in five minutes The air conditioner works pretty well and there’s a Burger King across the street

The room itself is spacious and spartan, but I’m not expecting the Ritz However, it seems to be better than the other Motel 6’s I’ve stayed at

PeggyS1322

I have stayed here numerous times over the last year The rooms are clean and taken care of My one complaint is how easily the sound comes through the door from the hallway

It’s 11 pm and I thought there were people in the hall talking It’s actually coming from the room across from me Loud enough It’s hard to sleep No management here at night so not much I can do
