We stayed in a king suite It was very nice because there was so much space We had a couch with a TV, a small fridge and microwave in one room

And a king bed, tv, lots of storage, and closet in another room This was amazing because we stayed several days The staff were extremely kind and the room was cleaned and restocked daily Breakfast was a full breakfast and was very good There was also a laundry room in the hotel so we were able to wash before we went home The views were also nice we could see the hills Very good value for the price

Brenda Burns Skelton

VERY pricey nice, very nice breakfast with a very nice hostess to assist you, wonderful beds but if you are checking in late at night, expect to wait 5-8 minutes at check in spot This was recorded on their video and after flying across country 11+ hours, wasn’t real pleased having to wait this much longer for room Still a very nice place to stay regardless of night auditor not at post upon arrival

Adam Stallard

Positives: Breakfast was good and the serving area wasn’t hopelessly crowded like at most hotels; Room was large Negatives: Dirty At least 4 long hairs stuck to wall around toilet

What appeared to be a pubic hair on the toilet lid Loud When people above me showered, it sounded like a river was rushing over my room Also, noise from kids running around in room and perhaps hallway above Finally, like so many properties, they’ve gone with this cold, blue and gray color pallet that makes the hotel feel cheap and like you are in an indoor pool the whole time

I LOVE this hotel The rooms are just okay after they remodeled Huge improvement, but I think the lighting is sterile feeling

That’s about the only down side The staff here is amazing I’ve stayed at this hotel for years, and they hire such good people Always so friendly Always so helpful I had an issue with my room one time, and the guy at the front desk didn’t hesitate for a second to give me a new room Then he immediately went to inspect the issue I had with the other room The older guy with the ponytail has been there for years, and seriously, he’s one of the best customer service people I’ve ever met The staff here really cares about making your stay as comfortable as possible I can’t say enough good things about them I always stay here when I stay in Johnson City, and I will continue to unless something really plummets downhill here

Julie Ann Howlett

I’ve stayed here twice and had a positive experience both times They are pet friendly, easy to find, and there’s ample stores around the area for any needs you might have It’s easy to park and tucked behind a large restaurant but not too isolated that you feel concerned you are too far off the highways

I stayed here while road tripping back and forth to Asheville Also, side note the beds here are really comfy Like really comfy I found them even more comfortable than other Sleep Inns I have stayed in before Positive experience and would definitely use again if I chose to 😊PS There’s a really cool backyard dinosaur place in the area to check out by a local resident (maybe 20 min drive away) Definitely worth checking out!

Anshuman Mehrotra

Very over priced for $100 room Breakfast is very limited, oven warmed frozen eggs and some sausage, no bread or jams or jelly, no cream cheese Milk is from jug which is only 0 percent and labelled as 2 percent

Cereal is fruit loops and one more kind and waffles with plan syrup Coffee is very weak The rooms have this musty smell along with corridor Good food places nearby I will not stay here again Our beds had a absorbent pad underneath with huge stains and bedsheets we’re crumbled Towels were not washed properlyAfter COVID this much lack to attention to detail

Here for a softball tournament The hotel was the host hotel but they were not very host like Broken elevator, out of towels at the pool, add a $250 fee if your kids our load during quiet time

Parking lot wasn’t the best The in house restaurant was understaffed and not many options Wayne the bar tender was amazing nice and polite Needed help running the restaurant and bar The lady running breakfast buffet came in on her day off was amazing also she had to cook and stock the buffet on top of cleaning the tables The hotel really drop the ball on this However they had so many front desk people maybe one or two of them could of help out in the restaurant or at least kept up with the towel and house keeping Our room never seen a house keeper we was in it for almost a week Trash was over filling so we went got a large bag to dump the trash in The room need so serious cleaning Found broken glass and other trash beside the bed and under the chair cushion The bed wasn’t level or very comfortable The remote work half the time The bathroom paint was cracking and falling down The bathroom was designed for kids not adults The counter was at way below waist and the toilet felt like you where sitting on the floor I’m 5ft10 so I felt like a giant in there The room doors don’t close alway until you pull them shut and check to make sure they close The little market they had on site was low or out of stuff

Autumn S

The entryway was very nice and the staff seemed friendly The parking lot was a little weird and seemed small for how large the place was The rooms were not as nice and the entrance and “garden view” apparently just means access to the pool

It would be convenient had I brought my bathing suit, but few plants were in sightWent to check out breakfast but it was going to be like $12 for a standard buffet unless you pre-purchased meal tickets with your stay (which wasn’t offered when I booked) so we decided to eat elsewhere Stay wasn’t bad but I think we’ll stay at the Holiday Inn Express like we usually do next time, at least we always know exactly what to expect like breakfast

Lorie Young

We stayed here for 4 very long days and I would not recommend this place to anyoneDo not let the lobby deceive you It is beautiful, updated, and very clean but that is not the case for the rest of the hotel

There are two elevators in the hotel and only one worked the whole time we were there The buttons inside and outside the elevator were filthy, the hand sanitizer stations near the elevators were empty for all 4 days, we couldn’t tell what was on the floor… was it pizza sauce or blood? And the one working elevator, was very slowThe room we were given was right next to the elevators All night long, we heard the elevator going up and down, stopping at each floor and would bang really loud every time it would stopThe rooms have not been updated The bed was uncomfortable There was mold in the shower, and the bathroom sink didn’t drain It’s like everything was designed for shorter people If you over 5’5” good luckAnd finally, there is a restaurant in the hotel but it is only open during breakfast and dinner, and that is if the cook shows up The breakfast is not free, you actually need to add that to your reservation if you want it included Spend your hard earned money at a different establishment

I stay at a lot of Marriott hotels across the country while traveling 75% of the time for business My stay at the courtyard in Johnson City was far above my expectations This hotel is well-maintained, has great atmosphere, is very clean and what really makes it shine is the people who work here

We were there tonight for a class reunion The food and staff were excellent How ever the hotel was unbearably hot in the halls, the banquet rooms, the lobby, the restrooms

We couldn’t fine anyplace comfortable We work out in the sun in our garden and are used to heat, but if I’m going to what should be a nice place owned by Hilton I expect just a little bit of relief from the summer heat It was cooler outside than in I don’t plan to ever come back here I don’t think the 50 to 100 people that were there tonight with us will either I’m glad we had the option of driving home I certainly would not have stayed there

Julie

Hotel wasn’t bad but it’s not great, very basic The only problem I had when I arrived, I checked my sheets as I always do and there was a red stain on the sheets Told front desk and got new sheets and everything else was clean, but still freaked me out

Breakfast is not included here, $12 for a buffet that’s very basic or $7 for the Continental breakfast I’d say it’s a little expensive here for not much, in my opinion

Melissa Hill

This was a disappointing stay Not up to Hilton brand standards I was not advised that they were doing construction on the property until I arrived

At that point, it’s too late The property really needs updating and shows a lot of wear and tear They are apparently updating the air conditioning The staff is nice but it’s hard to overcome the property’s shortcomings With the construction trucks in the front, parking is limited so I parked in the back The electronic lock at the back door was broken With a broken back door lock, anyone could just walk into the hotel My room had a moldy, musty smell The air conditioning didn’t work properly and the room was uncomfortable For some reason, the hot water wasn’t working on my last morning there I advised the front desk and their response was that no one else had said anything Broken lock, cold showers and hot rooms don’t make for a great stay

We had a great experience at this hotel overallwe travelled with 2 yo kid and a cat This hotel will offer these on top of your regular hotel expectations: historical building with prominent exterior and interior, close proximity to nice breweries, and walking part of the city, large and well equipped bathroom, great restaurant on property with option to deliver to your room, parking garage at no extra cost

I recommend this hotel

Beautiful hotel! Excellent service and such a comfy bed The food at the restaurant was great with a lot of whiskey options The spa did call and cancel my appointment with only a couple hour notice after saying there would be a $20 cancellation fee if I canceled

But, the hotel itself was amazing It’s like a 1920s time warp and super decked out!

I stay here occasionally for a run away (I literally live 11 mile away) and we stay here when my mom has to have any type of procedure This is our second time in two months being here for my mom having a surgery

I let them know in advance why we are here, and they literally go above and beyond Every time Everybody is SO kind They don’t bat an eye if you ask for something, and they always just seem authentically kind and gracious The rooms are lovely, the food is incredible, and the staff is beyond 5 stars! Thank you for always being so wonderful to us!

BE AWARE! DO NOT LEAVE ANY PERSONAL ITEMS!!!! I stayed here about 1 month ago for my birthday The bathroom was dirty and had hair all over the floor After checking out I realized I left my shirt and charger in the room

My husband called and asked if anyone turned in my items to lost and found and the front desk rep advised my husband that she located my shirt and charger in the lost and found She said she would mail it to our residence in North Carolina It’s been almost 1 month and I still haven’t received my items I have been calling the hotel multiple times a week for the past 2 weeks trying to figure out what happened to my items and always getting the runaround, they will lookinto it and call me back I have requested to speak with a manager multiple times and have never been successful with speaking to one One of the front desk representative’s, Casey, has been extremely rude and has the worst customer service I have experienced at a Hilton hotel!! She refused to transfer me to a manager multiple times and even lied saying she was the manager She never attempted to help me figure out what happened to my items and had a horrible attitude She hung up the phone on me several times and refused to let me know what hours the manages work so I can call during that time None of this makes any sense and all I wanted was to get an explanation about what happened to my items No tracking number was provided and nobody calls me back to give me an answer!! I can’t help but to think someone stole there stole my items and that’s why they wont let me speak to a manger to get answers! Please BE CAREFUL staying at this hotel WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I didn’t expect this from a Hilton hotel!

Heard about this hotel from a girl that swore up and down they had an AMAZING breakfast with this biscuit covered in all that is holy down south Now that I went to see for myself, I swear I would hire that breakfast staff full time if I won the lotto tomorrow 😍 We stopped in Johnson City on a very long road trip and everything about the stay was great Brand new hotel, great friendly staff, and unlike other hotels that hand you an apple and granola bar, they have something home cooked for breakfast along with all the regular staples

We were very happy with the stay

Ajimon Thomas

One of the most nicest hotels Ive stayed at in a while No complaints at all We stayed there for 1 night only

Plenty of parking Our room was super big for some reason, we might have booked an accessible one by mistake Nevertheless, it had a king bed and also a pull out couch Very spacious The first thing you see when you enter your room is a welcome sign with your name on, as the tv wallpaper The room also came with utensils and other stuff, more than you will need The bathroom was neat and thr shower pressure was so good The breakfast opens at 7 am and it was really nice So many options to eat and drink The hotel also has a pool and gym although we never used it We also got some cute tips from the reception and the staff was really helpful Definitely going back to this place if we ever get a chance

Easy access from the freeway and lots of restaurants to choose from The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful The hotel was clean and updated with a nice free breakfast selection (scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, juices, coffee, etc

) The room we stayed in was clean, large and nicely appointed with a sitting area, microwave and a refrigerator The decor and finishings were fairly recently updated and well maintained The only reason I took a star off for the room was the tub/shower floor was slanted towards the center and hard to stand flat under the shower It felt kind of spongy and I wondered if I’d end up in the bathroom of the neighbor below me Other than that, everything was great and I’d stay there again

Jessica Mead

I booked a 2 queen bed with sofa pull out bed When I arrived I was told that over booked I got offered a king size suite with a pull out couch

I told the lady I had 3 big kids with me that I didn’t think that would work She said that’s all they had And I knew I wouldn’t have been able to find another place I asked for a discount and was told I would be paying much more if I had the regular price of that room I told her that’s not my problem because I wouldn’t have picked that room to begin with So no discount I go into my room the bed is hard as a rock The pillows are so thin you sunk into the bed The toilet leaked Bath tub was disgusting I went downstairs to ask for pillows for the pull out couch, was told they didn’t have any but offered me a blanket to scrunch up as a pillow There was only one extra blanket for me pull out bed One of my children slept on the floor (I offered to instead) It rained the next morning but by the time the pool was supposed to open it was sunny Got told the pool was not opening because of thunderstorms even though it was not raining and no thunderstorms Just an over all experience with too many excuses

Michael Rojas

Used a 3rd party (a perk from my work) to book my 4 night stay through the 4th of July Booked 2-3 weeks prior to visit and had in the special requests that I needed a pull out sofa since my wife and son would be with me While checking in I was pretty much shook down for having more than just me in room and was forced to pay and additional $20 per night for having my family with me before checking in

Pretty much negated any discount I was receiving for using the 3rd party My card was already charged so refusing to pay and trying to look for another hotel was out of the question The lady wanted me to tell her how much my discounted price was and said if I cancel with the 3rd party then she will try and give me a discounted rateAs for the room, the foundation must have done some serious shifting cause the door to the room wouldn’t lock with the latch It wouldnt line up straight and would just slide open The bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed and wouldn’t lock The 1 star that I give this hotel is for the a/c actually working well and kept room cold Everything else about this stay pretty much sucked

First time staying here At check in Jeff was very nice and friendly Fast check in and he explained everything and the fees they hold at check in and I got them back one day after checkout

They do serve a breakfast here but we didn’t get up in time for it The hotel was very clean and the rooms are nice The indoor pool was nice and heated Great location with great views right off of I-26 with stores and restaurants close by

Kendra Bryan

Edit: after letting the front desk know about the AC not working in our room, they apologized and said that there are no batteries for the thermostat They aren’t sure why it would say low battery when it’s hardwired into the wall with full electricity, and that was after I showed her the video of what it saidShe said she would put in a work order

No compensation or incentive for the 2 nights of sleeping in 75+ temps She was nice tho and did say sorry

Zadi Sunset

If you are not more than 50 miles away from this hotel company policy denies you a room Company policy says to not give rooms to locals This is a lie because I’ve stayed at a comfort inn in Jonesboro TN and I live in Johnson City

If you are trying to get away from home for the night and don’t live 50 plus miles away do not try and stay here Otherwise you are just wasting your time and gas

We stayed here while doing training for a job We loved it We had a room with two queen size beds

The beds were very comfortable, but small to me There was a small size refrigerator with a mini size freezer compartment It is sufficient enough, but if you’re going to be staying a while you may have to get things to eat every few days Of course there is a microwave that you can utilize for warming food or whatever you may need it for The bathroom and shower were very clean and stocked, but if you need anything that you don’t have you can go to the front desk and ask for a complimentary item Overall our stay was very pleasant and the breakfast was beyond awesome Their breakfast actually had hot and cold dishes as well as the normal which includes cereals, waffles, muffins, breads, several kinds of milk, yogurt, etc If you’re not interested in their options, there are several other restaurants in the vicinity If you’re looking for comfort at a home away from home this location should be your go to We enjoyed our stay here We hope that you can as well
