Overall stay was good but a few things not so good When we arrived carrying our bags into the hotel there is a notice on the desk to go check in up the street at their sister hotel Pretty annoying we didn’t know this ahead of time and had to carry everything back and drive up the street

Rooms are pretty basic Beds are comfy Cleaning could be better- need to pay attention to details and wipe down walls I went for a facial at cascade spa which was fantastic BUT the steam room is absolutely disgusting The grout is filled with mold Restaurant downstairs Lago was great Food was delicious and service was a 10 Gets crazy busy so out your name on the list early! Not sure the price I paid was worth it but high season drives high prices I guess

A grand hotel Unfortunately, there are several other properties under the same management in the immediate area so there’s no staff on site The nearest staff in the event of an issue is a half mile away

We never encountered any problems in our five day stay so I can’t comment on how quickly they respond A major plus is that there is hot coffee 25-7 There is no restaurant on site at this property

The hotel is very enjoyable with plenty of amenities to take advantage of It has its own shopping plaza with restaurants and a bookstore Great walking distance to downtown Meredith

The beds and pillows are soft and squishy Bathrooms are niceIt is confusing to have four different inns We travelled to the Camp restaurant, thinking it was the inn Then, we realized it wasn’t Then, we eventually found our inn We went inside and noticed we weren’t supposed to check-in there We had to check-in at the main building, which was inconvenient Also, snow got on our windowpane because of the big blizzard recently Anyway, very nice hotel with great pool and jacuzzi

Cyndy Lesperance

Waited for a bit at front desk to check in as the young man was texting on his cell He then acknowledged us but never apologized He was a bit of a joker and said they usually have an information sheet but they must be out

He then told us our room was up stairs to left Obviously he needed to get back to his texting! Room was fine, beds comfortable, rm clean Went to Waterfall Cafe for bfast Said it opened at 7:30 The staff was late, we were 1st ones in at 7:45 Food was ok Staff was young lady & young man that lacked personality Not sure if we’ll return to either

Update #3: the bathroom tub drain is clogged Drains very slowly I was left standing in 3 inches of water after my shower

Can I give negative stars? Well, at least the toilet flushes alrightUpdate #2: they don’t allow you to set the A/C below 70 It’s been at that setting, on high for an hour It’s still hot in here Also, the TV gets a lot of channels, including NESN+, but not regular NESN, so I guess no Red Sox game for me tonight Minor thing, but we are in New England Come on, Mill Falls!I’ve been to meetings here before and it was pretty nice, so was looking forward to this 2 night stay Tired after a long drive Check-in is 4 PM It’s 5:30 PM on a Monday and can’t check in Room still isn’t ready And usual check-in desk is closed Had to search for parking and walk into the building to find a sign on the concierge desk directing me to a different building 1/3 mile away (Church Landing) where parking was difficult again Disappointed Will update if this experience improves or degradesUpdate: got checked in at 5:40 PM Small room, tiny desk, paper thin walls I hear every door closing on this floor There’s a screaming (literally) kid in the next room and I can hear the parents’ soft conversations There’s a barking/crying neglected dog in a nearby room Lovely parking lot view Degrading to one star If I could do zero stars, I would

This place is truly magical, it seems frozen in time Environments with attention to detail, thorough cleaning, comfortable bed, fantastic location and first and foremost the sweet and caring hostess Janet, made us feel at home There is no breakfast, but Janet has taken care of a corner dedicated to coffee, where in the morning you can enjoy with muffins, fresh fruit on the table or the porch where you can sip coffee while enjoying an enchanted view of the lake

We will definitely be back and anyone who wants to experience this magic should not miss the opportunity to come Thanks Janet, we’ll see you again soon Sandra

Stayed here for a night to go to a concert at the Big House Had a nice conversation with the owner when checking in Super nice lady who if I remember correctly didn’t like the area when she first visited but has been in business now for quite some time

The view from the outside deck was probably the best view in the area and a great place to relax

SeabeeErik

The wifi didn’t work, the people at the pool complained about it being dirty but we didn’t see it until we got in and got right back out Also the bathroom was not enough space for me to even stand up There was no one to be seen at the desk morning or noon or night

No continental breakfast or snacks at the coffee Very very poor cottages But the view was nice Had an A/C unit the size of a tiny microwave and didn’t cook room sufficiently Steer Clear and look for other locations Also you’ll never meet anyone at the office

My parents booked a room to take my daughter to a concert near by, last minute I decided to come too and I’m so happy I did! They easily accommodated us with a cot for me to sleep on The room was clean and we had a beautiful view of the lake It was so fun swimming in the lake and my daughter loved that they had a science activity for her to participate in

Being able to walk to the beach bar was great! Especially for my dad who has limited mobility All of the staff at the beach bar were fantastic during lunch and dinner One night my dad and I walked down for dinner and sat at the bar We were greeted by what might be the best bartender ever, Sarah She talked with us and made sure she made the perfect drinks for us! On her recommendation we ordered Buffalo wings for an appetizer and burgers for dinner Unfortunately, out of nowhere, we were hit with 40mph winds and thunderstorms After getting my dad back upstairs to our room, going back outside, Sarah running the food through the storm, bringing the food back upstairs, we were amazed by how wonderful the food was! All in all it was a good experience, but Sarah made our trip!

Rachel Elizabeth

Upon arrival the nice lady at the front desk upgraded our room Which was very nice Our room was ground level overlooking the lake

The views are just stunning They doing some renovating which is nice The kids loved the pool They have a bar right on the lake which is beautiful and the front desk staff was always polite and accommodating Especially in todays world I definitely appreciate good customer service as I’m finding it a rare occurrence lately Would definitely stay again!

I recently stayed here with my mom, aunt, and cousin for a few nights as a short girls getaway I must say this was one of the cleanest resorts I’ve ever seen From the beach, to the rooms, to the restrooms everything was kept immaculate

I would highly recommend this for a fun family vacation if you do have children, it was very family friendly The food at the beach bar was great we really enjoyed that they came around to the beach to let you order, it was very convenient We will definitely be making this out go to resort on Lake Winnipesaukee

This hotel is one of the worst I’ve stayed at A nightmare came true Thankfully it’s only for one night

There was a stain of period blood under our fitted sheet Absolutely disgusting especially right now, you would think that housekeeping would know better The shower curtain has a huge yellow stain that’s a foot high how is this ok? We were way too disgusted to take a shower There was also used contacts on the carpet and water bottle cap left by the side of the bed When we turned on the fireplace, the fire alarm started going off we got scared because we weren’t sure if it’s leaking carbon monoxide On top of that, they charge a resort fee even though no amenities is open due to Covid Over $300 a night for a place that’s seen only from horror movies no thanks Please don’t waste your money here Customer service is not helpful at all, good luck trying to get a person on the phone

Krystyna Donati

Comfortable rooms, great window seat view of the Big Lake Staff very accommodating and friendly All the comforts of home and plenty of hot coffee

Easy parking We had lunch at the Lakehouse Grill with also had a beautiful view of the Lake Our salads were delicious 😋 I really enjoyed the unique flavors of the Shrimp Cob salad It was fresh and huge Our companions liked their food choices

Stayed in one of the rooms through VRBO, and it was awesome! The room itself had just enough space for 2-3 people in the single bedroom option and the deck that it came with as well was perfect! While the pool and hot tub were under construction, we visited the small beach which was a short walk from the room which was perfectly sized with a good amount of picnic tables and grills for some early season grilling The views of the white mountains and MtWashington contributed to the overall ambience to the resort

I would highlighy recommend a stay here and will hopefully be back!

Beautiful, upscale inn located near Squam lake Special added touches is what made our stay amazing Gourmet breakfast (eggs Benedict were awesome)

Exquisite woodwork and craftsmanship ship throughout! We stayed in the Norfolk with all the amenities: private deck with views of lake and mountains, private jacuzzi, and fireplace We were treated like royalty Service was an A+ from our host, our waitress and the owner, Brian!

Denis Murphy

We decided to stay at the Manor due to our usual inn being fully occupied Brian and Maryellen, along with their impeccably professional staff, treated us very well, from the fabulous breakfasts at the beginning of the day, to the gourmet dinners under a cascading sunset We love Holderness and will return every year, and now we will only stay at THE MANOR ON GOLDEN POND

Mike Schloss

I arrived at the Manor and was immediately taken back by the view and splendor of the Grand entrance Inside the House is a marvel of comfortable sitting areas, and refined finished wood work But what puts my experience over the top is the warm and welcome service

My daughter was also coming to the Manor in her car from NYC On the way up the muffler detached from the tail pipe! She arrived in a frantic panic after listening to the rattle and rumble for hours I asked the Inn Keeper Brian for some advice and to my amazement he replied by saying let me have a lookI think we can take care of it To say I was surprised would be an understatement Not only did he take care of it he was so accommodating that our weekend at Squam Lake wasn’t even interrupted !! I am for ever thankful, loved my room and can’t wait to come back!!

Lovely spot right on the lake Our second stay here, fully enjoyed our stay both times despite sub optimal weather conditions Truly beautiful views no matter the weather

Provided breakfast reasonably good, and great food available nearby, several within walking distance! Overjoyed to watch loons, geese, and ducks from our balcony Checking and out very smooth and efficient, staff genial and responsive Easy drive to local attractions including the Loon sanctuary, the shops at Mills Falls, and hiking at Castle in the clouds

Viva Asōlé

Pros: Complimentary breakfast Updated rooms as of this writing Beautiful lake shore with a little marina

Free usage of paddle boats and kayaksClose to most of the town’s attractions and essential storesCons: No shower door to keep the bathroom mat and generally the outside of the shower stall from getting wet (flooded?)AC when running blows directly onto you on the bedThe curtains should slide open on the other side where the door is Better outside light controlOver all: the place is awesome Very clean and ambient I’d love to stay there again!

Toni Facchini

Great Place to stay if you’re looking for a picturesque view Right on the water, lush green lawn, corn hole games, fire pit, adirondack chairs to relax in, beach chairs to suntan on and modern, clean rooms to stay in When you wake in the morning, their continental breakfast is A1 with scrambled eggs, sausage patties and the usual accompaniments

My wife and I (we are elderly) have just finished enjoying our 5th stay at The Glynn House Inn – six nights this time It is a beautiful property conveniently located in the heart of NH with convenient access to the lakes and charming towns of the region The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious but we keep returning to enjoy the lovely family that run the inn

Nothing is too much trouble for them and their restaurant recommendations are invaluable

Had the best time at this place Went there for a change to sceneryWas working the entire time, but being by the pool was amazing, loved the outdoors hottub

(adults pool, the bigger pool was too loud)The staff was great, very kind, friendly and helpfulStayed in the south building, liked the privacy with the extra doors between the main entrance then to the bedroom areaDid not like the loud guests upstairsCenter or town was very close, easy to get to a coffee shop or local DinerOverall, good experience, would be happy to return and refer this place

We won a vacation get away here and it’s such a nice resort with INCREDIBLE views A great pool area with slide, saunas, hot tub, gaming area that was huge, a market, Restaurant, on site laundry, vending machines, sledding hill etc They’re doing repairs but none of them hindered our stay or bothered us Can’t wait for a summer stay so we can do laser tag and all the other out door fun!!
