This is our 2 time staying here and both times itās been a all around great little getaway! The rooms are very clean! Our 2 time we stayed we were in a smoking room and for a smoking room it didnāt smell as bad as I thought it wouldāve for a smoking room Itās very quiet at all times of the day The only downfall is the walls are very very thin, the water pressure is horrible and the fact that their is no microwave in the rooms we have stayed in
They do have little mini fridges with a freezer The rooms are very spacious and have double sinks Meaning one in the bathroom and one right outside the bathroom which is very nice Itās very outdated but it is very home like feeling when entering the rooms! You canāt complain really for the price cause your getting way more then you would at any other place around thatās for sure! The rates are great! If your looking for something cheap but nice this is the place for you! Never have seen any riff raft here when Iāve stayed which is nice! Always pretty respectful people!

I was a bit apprehensive about staying here due to a few negative reviews that I had read and things that I have heard in the past I was pleasantly surprised to see that improvements have appeared to have been made I was greeted by Brian at the front desk and immediately thought he was the owner, just by the way he spoke and presented himself
It turns out he was just, as he put it, “2nd shift front desk associate”, he had a solid knowledge of the area, as well as a strong knowledge of Boston Medical Center, where my wife was having hip replacement surgery ( our reason for being in the area) Brian made us feel right at home and even offered to help with transport post-operation My room was very clean & comfortable, nice quiet area, and easy access to restaurants and shopping centers I’ll definitely book again this summer when we return for follow-up Thank you Brian & everyone at the Park View Inn
Christine Jenks
Clean, quiet room, friendly employees (Matt, Ryan and Jill are awesome) some rooms are being remodeled, very comfortable beds ( I have a herniated disk and pinched nerves and slept like a rock, better than I have all last year, which says a lot) comfortable couch, vintage bedroom furniture that gives it a nice mom and pops run atmosphere Right off the highway, walking distance to everything- groceries, restaurants, shopping, gas etc No other place in Salem NH is closer to everything you could need or want
They also have extended stay rates, and reasonable prices

I read reviews on this hotel after I had already booked and was not looking forward to my stay So many negative reviews and was very surprised walking into the lobby Wasn’t at all like ppl had described
This hotel was great ! Nice, clean, inviting etc Staff was extremely friendly and easy to speak too The rooms were awesome n spacious Beds were comfortable, especially the pillows There was a sofa in the room with 2 small round tables that were perfect to sit at and eat/relax at It had a stand up shower which I like way more then a tub I am the kind of person who gets uncomfortable with hotels and germs etc So I bring my own pillowcases, blankets and such but be had forgotten everything except my pillowcases and was relieved at how clean the sheets and blankets were Even when I cleaned all the surfaces myself with Lysol wipes they were already clean Usually I find stuff I rather not while doing this Overall I would return and recommend anyone staying here I gave 4 stats only bc I believe every place can always improve Oh and FREE breakfast is always nice when staying at a hotel

Room clean, bed comfortable Shower instead of tub was nice I was surprised by the lack of room service
Apparently they clean the rooms on request Breakfast was just okThere was a smell of marijuana in the hallway Some hotel guest didn’t seem to follow the rules
Peck Family
Just ok Upon check in I was asked if I wanted housekeeping I answered yes
When I can back to my room the following night housekeeping never came I asked the gal at the front desk about it and she said I was on the schedule for the following day Fine So the next morning on my way out I asked again to make sure I was getting housekeeping that day A different girl stayed no, I was not in the schedule for cleaning I asked to be added considering I have been asking since check in and she said no i could only get towels Are you kidding? Aside from the lack of customer service, the room was not that clean when I checked in and it felt like there was moisture in the room Itās a really dated hotel The poolIs meh Donāt get fooled by all the nice picturesā¦ itās not that nice!

The food is very good to excellent, nice presentation The dining room is appointed well, dark wood paneling, nicely carpeted, white linens, fresh flower and small candle on each table The menu has a variety of options but not typical fare and not overwhelming
Service always top notch, staff is knowledgeable about the menu and preparations A bit pricey, two of us tonight had split an appetizer, 1 soup, 1 salad, two dinners( $25 & $32) 1 glass of house wine and split a desert- $12500, but not out of line considering the quality, service, and atmosphere All in all, a very pleasant dining experience

The place is disgusting! Carpet really dirty with very visible big dirty spots everywhere!!The bathroom is old dark, the mirror is so old that are some spots that is not a mirror anymore! Lamps are broken, sheets dirty! Air conditioner filter clogged with dirt! OMG i want my money back!!! this place worth 20 dollars the night!! TV doesn’t work! Now I know!! I went all over the place they trick people!! Floor 1and 2 are normal room hotels, floor 3 and upper are where they keep students and when the semester is over they leave the rooms and the hotel rent them as regular room from the hotel!! It is so disgusting! The woman at the front desk she don’t even care about my complaints!! Hope some manager see my complain here and i get my money back!! They make money out of students then they make money with guests without even cleaning the place!!!! š”š”š¤¬š¤¬

I absolutely love the Best Western plus! I love that they have their own little location tucked away on the hill The rooms are HUGE and modern The staff is amazing- they’ve gone above and beyond for me and you can definitely tell that there’s a family feel with their regular guests
The lobby is bright, well lit and welcoming even late at night and there’s always luggage carts I will say however that I unfortunately don’t find their beds to be as comfortable as other places But it’s a lovely quiet location Definitely will stay here in the future and recommend to others
Daniel Reichard
I don’t know why any hotels other than best westerns exist Every time we stay at one it just really highlights everything I don’t like about other hotels This one had very friendly service
The rooms were perfectly clean and smelled fantastic Excellent little weight room The pool was large, perfect temperature and deep enough that 6 ft me could tread water! The breakfast was so delicious and had plenty to choose from Several restaurants deliver here as well Loved it here
Monique Ferrecchia
Stayed here for a wedding, but probably wouldn’t otherwiseCons: The room had a strong musty odor; we checked and cleaned the ac filter – it looked like a dryer lint filter that had never been emptied š¤® Overall the room looked dingy and slightly dated
The duvet inserts aren’t even in real covers, just between 2 flat sheets Slept on top of the uppermost sheet to minimize my contact with the bed The shower looked like it could use a good scrub, but may have just been older Water pressure is severely lacking, ended up having to wash my hair under the tub spout instead of the shower head to get sufficiently clean No towels available at the pool, we had to bring some down from our room Either the toilet or fridge kept us up with a loud noisePros: Pretty good location, close to food, attractions, and the beach Friendly staff The pool is nice, and seemed well kept, good temperature to really enjoy your swim Good sized room, with a table & chairs, closet, dresser, tv, coffeemaker, mini fridge, and microwave The included breakfast was pretty good Food was hot and they had a decent variety

Yup it’strue
We booked an overnight stay here while on business in the City The Inn looked recently remodeled , updated and modern The lobby was both welcoming and spotless
Front desk staff were pleasant and efficient, making check- in and check- out a breeze Ample parking, well lit and secure, even the parking lot was clean! We stayed in a double, the beds were comfortable, clean with plenty of pillows The bathroom was oversized, making it easy for two people to be in it at same time if needed Hot water on demand and water pressure was superb A full length mirror, iron, hair dryer, closet & hangers, desk, chairs, blackout curtains, refrigerator w/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, ice bucket, all cups individually wrapped & sealed a bonus! Best complimentary breakfast ever! Toast, bagels, coffee, tea, orange juice, iced tea, cereals, fresh fruits, yogurt, waffles, butter, syrup, milk, half & half, jelly, peanut butter, sugar, sweetener, plenty of dining space They nailed it! Walk out the front entrance and turn left and walk five yards to Chili’s Restaurant & BarL Turner

I love this hotel! The beds and rooms were nice and comfortable The hotel is clean and has a nice pool Check-in was easy and everything was clean and comfortable
They had a good selection for the complimentary breakfast, including waffles, eggs, sausage links, cereal, yogurt and bagels Only thing I would say is that breakfast could be a little later It’s over at 8:30 It would be nice to have at least until 9 or 9:30
Tammie Lacewell-Robinson
Basic accommodations, but clean with a comfortable bed The bedding and bath towels were clean The bathroom, refrigerator and microwave were clean
The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful Check in and check out was quick and easy They offered a decent breakfast at the hotel We only stayed for one night because we were in town for a Red Sox game, but we would definitely recommend this La Quinta Inn and Suites if you are visiting Boston

Very pleased with our stay! My friends and I stayed in a two bedroom suite The full kitchen was very useful All staff members I interacted with were incredibly pleasant and accommodating to our group
Had some housekeeping and drainage issues, but both were taken care of as soon as it was brought to staff attention Pricing was great for the room, but we paid essentially what we would have spent at a closer hotel to downtown in rides to the city Convenient location if just visiting the Salem area
Veronika Rzucidlo
With family just 10 minutes down the road, my family and I thought this would be the perfect place to stay when we come to visit During our first visit in November 2021, we thoroughly enjoyed the rooms, specifically the kitchens in the rooms The hotel was calm and quiet, even though it was full occupancy due to a festival in Salem
My husband finds the beds very comfortable, which is a great compliment coming from him However, during our last visit this April 2022, we were disappointed in the service and activity transpiring in the hallways Our hotel room had about 1/5 of a roll with no additional rolls provided You have to go to the front desk (which may be in a different building) to pick up anything you may be lacking (eg, soap, towels, toilet paper) The shower gel dispenser in our bathroom was empty Every night during our stay, the hallways reeked of MJ When I called down to the front office, the manager on duty cut me off and said he would “check on it” before I could even finish my sentence, making me believe that he just didn’t care There was a lot of noise in the hallways after 10 pm with people running down the hallways, going into each other’s rooms, slamming doors, and yelling down the hallway During our last night (a Sunday), at 11:30 pm, the manager on duty even came to the room across from us and kicked out those guests (reasons unknown) 2 police officers even came to make sure they left We initially loved this place for the price, location, and amenities, but we aren’t certain if we’ll return for a third time
Mike M.
I don’t know what’s going on lately but I haven’t had good experiences with IHG lately, which was my go to hotels This isn’t a typical Candlewood, but rather a converted TownePlace Suites hotel The new layout leave a lot to be desired
Another mixed bag, in another state:Pros:*Gym and small shopping center behind hotel*Free laundry*Easy check in*All dished cleaned (left in diswasher)Cons:*Parking fills up quickly (small lot)*I had to change rooms due to the first room being in such disarray (pics attached)*Thin floors as you can hear every step above you*People not going outside to smoke weed*Something happened that needed police to be called

While the women at the service desks were EXTREMELY kind and the hotel itself was quite nice, they need to get their service together We booked a double queen room (ahead of time), showed up, payed and got into our room only to realize they gave us two full sized beds We had too many people staying there to do that not to mention we payed the price of two queens
The management told us the hotel was over booked and they didnāt have any queen beds to give us That is completely ridiculous I have an event to attend where I need to stay at this hotel I am beyond upset While they gave us a room at a farther hotel for free, we now have to drive about 15 minutes farther I might of well just driven from my house Get your management together and keep track of who booked ahead of time This has ruined my day

I booked my stay with the hotel over the phone, I received an email with the confirmation number and my total price When I went to the hotel to book in, I was giving a completely different price, about 40% higher I showed the front desk the paperwork I had, they did not care
Over the course of the weekend I spoke to five different people at the front desk, one of which was speaking to the manager on the phone and everyone said it did not matter what price I was quotedAs for the room, there was mold in the bathroom, the bed was extremely uncomfortable but the room was fairly cleanThe internet only worked one day of my stay, the front desk says it goes down oftenThe rudeness of the people at the front desk and management staff definitely make me reconsider my opinion of Hampton innsIf you have anything to do in downtown Haverhill, this is a fairly decent location Easy enough to get to downtown but besides that I’m not sure there’s anything I would recommend for the hotel
Stephanie Hardy
Not worth the money Needs updating, very old and demographic is clearly old Judged at check-in
She said twice no smoking in the roomā¦we arenāt even smokers Not impressed Bathroom for king suite is tiny, beds hard, table for desk turned to make room even smaller Rather stay at Marriott chains for sure Traveling a lot for work, this was 4th hotel in 1 week and the most expensive yet the worst quality
Joe Souliotis
I stay at Hiltons all over the country for work This was by far the grossest one Iāve ever been to The room wreaked like cigarettes and there was literally ash all over the floor
The bathroom ceiling had mold When I asked the front desk for soap so I could clean the room (had my 19 month old with me) I was laughed at and told they ādonāt have a kitchenā Find another place to stay

The room is nice and clean Kitchen is still currently close so no room service available Itās an area where you need to drive everywhere
Nothing is close by So the fact that there is no food available at the hotel makes everything a little bit more complicated Considering that there is no more mask mandates, Marriott should reconsider this The people at the reception desk where super nice
David Nuzzi
Clean room nice building Pool was advertised as open (it was closed) breakfast advertised as free (there was no breakfast) Bistro closed just some grab and go muffins
Looks like 2020 covid restrictions were never lifted No other explanations on the closures This hotel canāt keep their promises No microwave in room and limited dining choices in areaYou get a clean room and not much else for a inflated rate
Kathleen Roberts
Troy was great- don’t lose him The room was not what I signed up for- adequate for sleep Prices should be lowered to reflect poor grab n go breakfast (not CONTINENTAL)
No restaurantThe room: bathroom – not sparkling- see pics Hot water valve not working – had to fool with it to get hot water- did not want to repack and move rooms at that pointBed was made with wrong linens Top coverlet was a queen as it only went 2 inches over the side of the mattressJust not up to Courtyard’s standards!!

The location of the hotel is great You are 15 min from the Salem NH mall area and 20 min from the Lowell area They have a decent breakfast with eggs, sausage, assorted breads and muffins, cereal, hot oatmeal, yogurt, and a waffle maker
The indoor pool was busy as it was a hot weekend The rooms are plenty spacious but show their age Everything is carpeted so if you have allergies, beware! Our ac unit didn’t work great We had it set as low as it would go (66) and when we returned from a scorching day on the softball field it was 74 in the room It’s also a loud unit We could hear the people above us which was annoying The bathtub had a super slow drain which left the tub dirty after washing all the infield dirt off of us Just a few little things that make it an overall ok experience

This place was very nice Larger than usual hotel rooms, good amenities I took off one star for the room because mine smelled off
They had a carpet cleaning company in my room that day, and it probably just needed to air out more, but it was still something to manage I opened the window to air it out and it was tolerable after about 2 hours

I was on a business trip up here for a few days, and my company made reservations for us at this hotel The front desk staff were very friendly, the hotel and rooms were clean and the beds were more comfortable than many other hotels I’ve stayed at The prices are also fair
Next time we’re up here we will definitely stay here again Thank you for making us feel welcomed!

I was part of a wedding party that stayed here Because I was with the bridal party all day and the hotel couldnāt give me an early check in (which is fine), I couldnāt check into my room until after the wedding Check in was easy, thought the room was great until I saw a used pair of eyelashes on the bathroom sink
I packed my stuff and decided to leave because I thought if they didnāt see that, then how do I know they cleaned everything else? Explained it to the manager and she assured me that if I reached out to the people I booked with and requested a refund, she would back me up and make sure I got My refund My stay was on 6/30 and I initially received an email saying that they were looking into it Iāve reached out several more times with no responses and no refund I was really grossed out by the lashes and did not feel comfortable sleeping in the beds Wouldnāt recommend staying here unless you can check in early enough on the day to ensure the room is spotless, as it should be

Great place overall Beautiful curb appeal all the way around the hotel We are in a single bedroom room and it’s amazing
When you lay in the bed your body just slightly sinks into a great night of sleep And I have a messed up back so I’m extra critical of bedsMy under light in my microwave went out They came to fix it and tried 2 new bulbs Realizing that it wasn’t just the bulb the changed out the whole microwave They could have just said ” we’re sorry it just doesn’t work” But they didn’t They changed it out to make it right Been here 3 days now and it’s been awesome

Rented a suite for a week The setup was two bedrooms separated by a living room/kitchen Rooms were clean
The beds were fine as well, however they need more choices in pillows My whole family thought the pillows were too firmTvs in all rooms
Nothing Here
Be wary Under construction Filthy
No front office No food No drinks No pool No regular housekeeping Seriously! All the amenities described online are unavailableI would have expected an alert during booking or nearer to arrival that the hotel would be completely down for maintenance Especially for Memorial Day weekend Hopefully we can find an alternative hotel or just stay away all dayTrash bags line the halls outside of every other door and guests meander around collecting supplies carting them off to their rooms Stains, hair, grime, greasy fingerprints, and layers of dirt welcomed us to our suite The kitchen houses broken GFCI outlets and appliances that have seen better days Inexplicably the entryway floor is new This canāt be the same 3-star hotel reviewers are raving about cleanlinessExceptionally, the staff are amazing and wonderful I donāt know how they manage

We were very pleased with this hotel! Our room was very clean, staff was friendly, and the location was good Breakfast was well done There are only 2 things I would have improved – 1: the water pressure wasn’t great in the shower
2: the electric lock didn’t work great with the key cards Our work around was using the digital key via the app We’d definitely stay here again!
Kathleen Dacey
We’ve stayed at the hotel a couple of times for friend’s weddings and it’s always clean There’s plenty of parking and the complimentary breakfast has waffles I used the gym this last trip and it was small, but had everything I wanted
The TVs are a bit dated, but they work There was a fridge and a good sized bathroom The staff are friendly It’s in a weird location (but handy for wedding bus situations), but the pizza place next door has a full bar and good vibes
Louie Melissis
We chose this hotel based on location to get to the different places we wanted to visit while staying in the Boston area Staff was very attentive to make sure things were the way we wanted them The breakfast included was good
Rooms were cozy and the bed was comfortable The pillows were too soft and needed a third to help my sleep It isn’t a high end place but for what we needed it was perfect and would stay here again

Stayed at this hotel this past Saturday night The hotel is very clean and organized and the staff at the front desk was very welcoming upon arrival We got a room in the tower on the 10th floor which is their newly renovated rooms
The rooms are very spacious and offer a wide variety of space They also come with a large television and a chair and a desk area with a bed The windows are very thin so you can hear the traffic on the highway at night and also in the hallway during the night you hear people coming in and out of their rooms especially some blaring music in the early morning time The bed review I would not give a good review it seemed like a standard mattress and it seemed like it was not as pushy it was really firm and was not good suitable for me as I had a rough night sleep Overall itās an OK hotel but if youāre looking for more I would stay closer to Boston as those hotels are higher quality

My husband came here for our honeymoon happily checked in to the hotel and to our surprise within minutes in room 116 bugs in the room Immediately left room and went to check out they offer us a different room but after seeing bugs I definitely did not want to stay there at all The front desk person made absolutely no other apologies nor care took the room key and acted not shocked at all nor concern I guess this most happened frequently
Horrible customer service and poor cleanliness the whole first floor also smelled like old cigarettes although claims smoke free maybe now but the smell still there as well as the room Donāt waste your money here
Steven Jang
I stayed here for 1 night and the location was great The receptionist was welcoming and the bottle waters were free during the stay The room was okay and I can see that it need a renovation done especially the AC still old style and need a card to be able to adjust the thermostat I guess
It is an old system and does not cool very well and I cannot sleep all night because the room was too hot Other than that, everything is okay

We stayed at this location, for one night, in May of 2022 We arrived late in the evening One of the elevators was down, and according to reviews, that I read after my stay, has been down for months
The one working elevator was pretty dirty upon entering When we entered our room, we gave it a quick once over The room looked more like a truck stop motel than a Marriott The room was small The beds were full size Definitely not the standard queen One of the beds had a large clump of hair in it, so we called for new sheets The sofa bed had a huge stain on it and an even larger stain on the rug I was afraid to even take my shoes off in this place The inner shower curtain should have been changed When I called with a complaint and ask for a refund of the over $300 I spent, I was offered Marriott points I did not pay in points I paid on my bank card Since asking for my money back, I have not heard back from hotel management or anyone else from Marriott It’s been at least 9 days I’ve been a lifelong Marriott guest Shameful to call this place a Marriott and shameful that they haven’t given me a refund Also shameful of the latest customer service rep to repeatedly say “Well there’s nothing I can do on my end” Not a Marriott type of experience at all

Upon arrival, we were notified that they did not offer daily housekeeping, but we could ask if we needed something The thermostat in our room was locked, and kept set to 68 degrees (This doesnāt sound unreasonable, but it never felt that coolā¦it was actually quite stuffy
) The mini fridge in our room froze drinks solid, and the remote did not work properly After three days, we requested housekeeping for towels, coffee, and trash No one came After one day, our room cards stopped working and we were informed that it was because we had likely placed the card too close to an electronic device When calling the front desk, they told me theyād have some new ones ready down stairs It took approximately 15 minutes to retrieve those cards because we were on the fifth floor and the line for the one working elevator was long Overall, nothing special Would not choose this location again unless remodeled
Carl Manzelli
Upon arrival after the posted check in time, the clerk had us wait for several minutes while they tried to find a room available for which a reservation was set months earlier I was then told that they had only one room available despite no one else waiting anywhere They finally found a room
The room was clean but the hotel showed signs of wear with only one elevator working Overall, it was okay but I expect better
