I have been coming here for 3 years with my company and have had nothing but great experiences The staff has always been great and Christopher working the front desk is the absolute nicest and most helpful person when ever you need anything All other staff is great, rooms are clean and quality, and the front patio area is great for grilling and hanging out in long stays

Out of all the Residence inns I’ve been in this is by far my favorite, keep doing what you’re doing!

nick satwicz

Incredible staff and a great experience We came to the Residence Inn last minute after a travel delay and couldn’t have had a better experience The room was everything we needed and more: with a full kitchen, expansive bathroom, comfortable bed, and large TV

The amenities and breakfast on site was top notch Most of all, the service was excellent Jacob, from the front desk, took care of everything we needed and went above and beyond at all times to make sure we were taken care of Truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had because of Jacob’s caring service throughout our stay Absolutely would stay here again

I’m giving a 5 star because the hotel is brand new and I love the Marriott brand As I’m nearly a titanium elite member, they have always and continue to provide exceptional service and this is no different at this property HOWEVER…do not stay here unless you don’t mind an extremely hot room

When we got into our room it was 74° inside and because California is maniacal about emissions, the air will not come on until a guest is present in room More importantly even with the air on we never broke 70° This is extremely uncomfortable for my family and I and I feel that customer satisfaction should be most important I cannot confirm or deny that the thermostat may have been bypassed, however one would speculate that even if it had, it still could not get lower than 70°Cleanliness was a small issue and it wasn’t anything that was visible to first look We moved one of the end tables away from the bed and behind it was a lot of trash To me it’s not that big of a deal but others might not appreciate that so muchOtherwise this property is conveniently located near many shops and big box stores and as I said appears to be fairly new One highlight was the breakfast bar Very clean Well prepared food and plenty of stock for all taste buds!Again, Marriott delivers just about every time but the cooling is an issue*edited* this is the first property that doesn’t respond to reviews (Not many anyways)

Desiring winter wedding vibes in the middle of September? Done! The reception area is truly transformational As a photographer, I loved that they had a variety of areas for portraits The garden was perfect for the ceremony and the reception area was spacious and airy

The entire venue was beautiful and helped me capture gorgeous and romantic wedding photos; I highly recommend!

I need to start by saying the staff was friendly and beds clean I have to stop there I wanted to enjoy our stay but it started off with after we parked our car in the back our key card did not work so we had to walk all the way around the building to get front desk to help us

This key card entrance happened randomly through our stay for the various entrances as well as the poolThen the hot breakfast was garbage basically it was gas station food ranging form cold cereal to packaged burritos, packaged bagels with fake egg and sausage, packed waffles Nothing freshconsidering the nightly rate I was highly disappointed Not the Springhill Brand we are used to The food in the store kiosk was betterThe scariest part was the final night we were there was another guest a man (we think it was a guest) had attempted to enter our room The only reason he did not was we had the extra security on the door the metal lock that only allowed the door to open a tine bit HE HAD GAINED ACCESS USING HIS KEY CARD!!! This was in the evening time and when we spoke to the front desk they were alarmed and said they would let the manager know right away but we never heard anything about it at check out we discussed it with the front desk and they were concerned and friendly and said they would let their manager know but nothing after thatSo based on that let me tell you more of my concerns that we were were going to not mention but because we had not heard back about the break in we felt these other things you should know before staying there:1) carpets had stains2) we had asked to have our room cleaned while everyone was out but that did not happen3) each time we went to the pool there were not towels and we had to ask for them

Andrew Munday

Incredible hospitality! I arrived at my room and it smelled like cigarette smoke so I called the front desk to request a new room The person quickly met me on the 2nd floor and moved me to a new room He even gave me a care package! Rooms are great! Very big, L shaped couch, AC cranks, blackout curtains, I could live here

Breakfast is solid, eggs and oatmealI also love the location I found a new restaurant called Local Kitchens It’s a digital food hall that has 5 different restaurants in it Right down the street – pretty sweet!

James Chandler

Day 1: The lamp that provided light for the room was falling apart and the shade was dangling by the hot/neutral wires After telling the front desk, no one came to fix the lamp and we were not offered a different roomDay 2: The deadbolt on our room malfunctioned, causing the deadbolt to engage every time we released the handle

This prevented the door from being able to close The only fix was to use the keycard to unlock the door from the outside, turn the handle, and then pull the door shut

Rosalie Regalado

Very nice place to stay $167 for a large suite with 2 king sized beds in the bedroom And a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, sink and cupboards

A breakfast nook and dining table The dining room can be used for client meetings because it has a dry ease board with a tray that can hold an eraser and dry ease markers A living room with a sofa , coffee table, tv, and sofa chair Clean and comfortable I would stay here again

Bev Ann G.

Clean and friendly Staff Breakfast is ordered the night before Choices are few and the Toaster in a room barley worked

1 hard sofa bed to sit on No USB power adapter available So bring your own! It’s an older Motel, but you don’t pay what you would if you had all the upgrades! So take your pick Marriott price or OK and reasonable 😊

First off, let me preface this review by saying the staff that I encountered were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with The room was clean and well stocked What I love the most is the hot showers in the morning

Usually, less accommodating hotels skimp on items like the soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap I can’t remember the brand of toiletries but it was amazing, smelled amazing, and made me happy in the morning Big thumbs up! Breakfast was served as described My only wish is that they offered more vegan options I had to use the “business center” which was a computer by the front desk Luckily every time I had to use it, there was no one there And big plus, they let me print for free Some places charge which is super irritating The reason for the three stars is that I had to extend my stay which carried over through the weekend The rate that was charged to my card was agreed to and it was a 30% increase to the normal weed day rate Then early Sunday morning I get a call from the front desk which stated that my card was declined I explained the situation and they said “well that charge was incorrect and you slept there so now you have to pay” I run to the bank and take care of the balance What else was I supposed to do? When it was all said and done the weekend rate was 40% more than what was originally charged This may not be a big deal to some but we were staying there a few days as we had just gotten evicted I know its a bit too pricey, but I wanted to maintain some normalcy for the children and the location was in between our old home and the new storage facility Anyways, blah blah blah, sob story, I know just wanted to throw that tidbit of info in there as to why this 40% increase was a HUGE deal The stay was lovely, the overnight staff were great! They gave me coupons for restaurants nearby I can’t remember the lovely lady at the front desk She was blonde and we swapped stories about our husbands, gas prices, and the heat She was great and the other tall young man who wants to be a firefighter, he was super nice too! So long story short make sure to confirm the rates before they charge your card because they will charge you more without even discussing it with you first I think its wrong for the customer to be penalized for their accounting error especially for recently displaced families on a budget

$12 parking fee? For what? You’re a side of the road hotel with small rooms and a dated motif (haven’t seen a Fairfield with this color scheme and decor in years) A 22″ LCD tv? What am I supposed to do with that unless I’m sitting 2ft from the screen? And on top of all that, there is no onsite fitness center The Courtyard they share the parking lot with allows you to use theirs

I’ve seen even the most budget motel attempt to offer an area for fitness I get you’re near a water park and a short drive to shops and restaurants, but nothing so unique as to warrant an unadvertised parking fee

I know this place is new and still under construction, but the rooms are done and we really didn’t care for them #1, the bathroom “door” is a slider that is offset from the wall when closed and it leaves almost a half inch gap on each side Very poor for for privacy, you can have a conversation with someone in the bathroom very easily, catch my drift? The rooms have odd corners and angles almost as if the last detail when the building itself was built was the shape of the rooms, they just fit them into the building

The people working there were very nice so there’s that, and there will be a restaurant built on property sometime in the near future We just feel that for what we paid, it just didn’t work for us

This hotel is convenient to Highway 80 and new and has the most incredible views!!!! They have an ample, delicious breakfast Recently they added an evening bistro with half-price wine and beer during happy hour!!!! Their flatbread pizzas are excellent!!! SO nice to not have to schlep out for food after a long day (If you stay here for work

which I recommend) Karen and Marianne are so pleasant with excellent customer service!!! They will even check in on you out by the heated pool area That area is where you can sip your wine, beer, soda, coffeeand take in the incredible view!!!! Hope you enjoy as much as I have (and will!!!)

Hotel was nice and clean but the noise level was extremely bad They need springs on doors to rooms so they don’t slam shut every time We were on the street side and you can hear the cars

The rooms are nice but after the second night there was a young group of men in room next to us that came late from Casino and was extremely loud after 11pm We called desk they wanted to move us but too late we decided to go home by that time They need to soundproof rooms We thought this would be our go to place but unfortunately it will be the one and only time we stay here

This Holiday Inn Express is one of the nicest I’ve stayed in We had a king suite and the design of the room and quality of the design was much higher than most of the Holiday Inn Express hotels we have stayed in The people at the front desk were all very friendly and helpful

The breakfast had a good variety of items, and the pool was refreshing to cool off in The lobby and breakfast room are also nicely designed

We had to stay while waiting for our house to close escrow The staff made it feel like home They were warm pleasant helpful and always available

We loved all the accommodations of the hotel including the kitchenette living room area and bedroom area made private by a curtain Even our dog grew comfortable here She was treat pleasantly by staff and guests alike The daily breakfast options were wonderful and the coffee was awesome Even the fresh fruit in the water pitcher was a delight I can’t say enough great things and would definitely stay again

Joshua Soldo

This was a great stay Relatively new place, rooms were basic but nice Minimal fitness room, but definitely workable

Continental breakfast was pretty good, and service was outstanding Juliana was very attentive and helpful, and Lindsey was nice and accommodating Has a pool, but didn’t get to it I was informed that booze will be for sale in the lobby soon (if you’re into that), and there will be a BBQ food truck there Mondays and Tuesdays (I think those were the days) in the near future Would stay again

Audrey C (Andy The Sony Fan)

The service was great, very friendly/sweet staff The room was beautiful and VERY clean, they have everything you need from extra pillows and blankets, to literally a kitchen sink Plates, cups, eco friendly, and its quiet

We stayed on a Friday night and it was packed but completely silent Decor was cute, and I’ve never seen more counter space in my life The only thing I can think of that someone might be upset about is the size of the bathroom Compared to everything else it was pretty small but super clean and well put together Highly recommend giving a try if your looking for a quiet clean space that has everything you could think of and more

The house is exactly as pictured However there was no breakfast, maybe that was changed because of covid

but there is a kitchen with all the nicest fixtures and equipment if someone was hosting The only negative is that the propane tanks werent filled so we couldnt enjoy the out doors at night and we didnt get the room we booked even though we where only 1 or two guests at the whole house Other than that, beautiful house

Alicia Brown

The Park Victorian is a very nicely redone bed and breakfast! Has a great view that over looks old Auburn I however would never stay here or host here again We did a surprise engagement party for a family member, there were max 20 people at the event that only lasted for a max of 4 hours

We had the party outdoors and took all proper precautions as the soon to be bride was pregnant and we wanted to be cautious with COVID We provided masks to the family members attending We even hired our own cleaners to come in and clean after us The manager Laurie was very difficult to deal with and was very unprofessional She seems to live on site in a little shack in the back that looks directly into the main dinning room of the bed and breakfast We had been very communicative as our plan for the evening, we then proceeded to get harassing text massages through the event and into the next morning Her text messages were very unprofessional and was shocked that someone of “management status” could talk to paying clients the way she did She turned the nice outdoor lights off at 9pm on us, everyone was gone by 10pm anyways but found this to be rude Not to mention her husband is the maintenance man who had not emptied any outdoor trash cans from previous guests, and they hadn’t filled any propane tanks on the patio After telling her I was shocked with her messages to our family and how unprofessional they were, she proceeded to send them I had friends ask about the venue and as much as its a cute venue, I’d never recommend staying here to anyone after dealing with Laurie!

Rhonda Harrell

Beautiful accommodations! Breakfast was very good and loved having fresh cookies, snacks, coffee and drinks available throughout the day Laurie was a great host and aimed to please Nice views from the rooms of Old Town Auburn

Loved the history that was kept with the renovation and charm of an old Victorian home You must try at least one night

George gave me nothing but excellence, and treated me with the utmost respectHonorary shout-out to the maintenance team! 🤘

Room was nice enough but that was about itOur room didn’t have enough towels, and had half a roll of toilet paper We had two adults and two kids

When I called the front desk, the lady said I would have to come grab it No big deal, but I said I was coming right down, and then she took off and I had to stand there for 15minutes waiting She was just around the corner chatting about life drama with another coworkerAlso The bed was super uncomfortable Having gnarly lower back spasms today

This team is clearly very well trained and adopts a consistent and unique culture I spent 2 nights on business and have a pretty high status with Marriott, so I have a pretty good perspective The associates are super friendly, on point and focused on the guest experience

My room was exceptionally clean and buttoned up – I also appreciated the upgrade!Management team is solid and attentive

Brent Surman

Lots to choose from in this area so I thought I’d try a new one First time here and I spend a lot of time in Marriott properties Room smelled like sour milk

I always use the stairs and each floor had it’s own unique odor sort of like a cleaning rag that has been used a bit too long Parking is insufficient if you arrive late The food court staff is super friendly and while you have to pay, it’s much better than the reheated frozen stuff most places are dishing out since Covid Very convenient to freeway and dining is a short walk

Not the lap of luxury, per se, but a pretty nice stay If you want a truly historic room/experience, this fits the bill, and it was comfortable enough The owner cooked up an excellent breakfast — that was the best part (tasty mini quiche, sausage, and more

the fresh-baked blueberry scones were fantastic) He also texted us a little “guide” of local sights to see, like a little itinerary of where to go and what to do The price isn’t bad, considering what you get

Antonia E

My husband and I spent 4 nights here while at a conference It was a great experience We enjoyed the ambiance and feeling like we were back in the early 1900s

It is not particularly luxurious or anything but very clean and comfortable Alfred was a wonderful host and we truly appreciated his hospitality Not only were his breakfasts delicious (his chef training SHOWS), but we had to miss breakfast on our last day and asked if he was able to prepare something for us “to go” He went above and beyond to meet this request which we were so amazed by Additionally, my husband and I are both vegetarian/plant-based and he accommodated us without a problem We loved the vegan sausage! Thanks Alfred for everything!

Kimberly Christian

I stayed here with my boyfriend the weekend after valentines day The owners were great and checking in was simple The room looked exactly how it did in the images, we were really pleased

The sheets, towels and bathroom were clean, and the mansion was huge- and adorable We played chess in the empty common area after we got back from dinner and drinks They serve breakfast and coffee in the morning, both of which were very good I highly recommend, especially for the price Side note, the decorations are a little over the top and its a little dusty If youre critical of these things this may not be the place for you

Stayed at this hotel for the night The room was clean and cozy Large bed and sofa from which to watch TV, also in the room was a refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning and telephone

But when i arrived 10 minutes before the end of breakfast, they closed the refrigerator with yogurt and started cleaning up, so we had to have breakfast elsewhere

I booked a room through Chase rewards, and due to my 3 year old spiking a high fever and a baseball tournament being canceled in Rocklin, CA, we were trying to rebook for the following weekend Not even necessarily cancel and they are unwilling to help or change the booking $180 (overpriced) down the drain

My family and friends and whoever reads this, please do not support these inconsiderate people who do not know how to efficiently run a business (or maybe they do because they got a whole $180) but we will not be returning or giving any business to ANY comfort inns Go somewhere else, you’ll be better off I even called the hotel and they were not helpful and even gave a “I don’t care” type attitude/tone over the phone

I stayed here overnight due to work travel and other hotels being sold out This property is VERY overpriced ($ 253/night) for the lack of upgrades in the room The rooms are not updated, the hallways are very narrow, rooms don’t have microwaves, the fridges won’t close, and they charge for parking

This property spent it’s money updating things like the landscape, lobby, and workout area, but the rooms are less than standard My food spoiled because the fridge wouldn’t close well and my room had no microwave and they didn’t have any spare ones when I asked for one I stayed there for work but would absolutely not return to this property Location is good but that’s about it for the pros Would NOT recommend this property to anyone, as there are nicer properties in the area for a much better price

Took 15 Minutes for anyone to come to the front desk for check-inThe refrigerator/TV Stand was directly in front of the AC making it difficult to cool downI don’t know if this is a new COVID thing but I requested housekeeping to come on our second day and they did not make our bed nor give use new linens

Pricey for the lesser service and the same amenities of a DoubleTree
