Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your resort This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is the best rated in this area

I have been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you for sure won’t be disappointedAfter a nightmare experience with an AirBnb (never again) we came to the Westin Fort Lauderdale at 3 in the morning and were greeted by one of the most excellent customer service representatives we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, Nicole She made our check-in effortless, quick, and ensured that our stay here would be a fantastic one We had a car rental, so the location was extremely convenient (right off the highway) and several miles away from major boulevards and beaches The hotel is excellent, clean, welcoming, the staff are great and helpful The pool is refreshing and nice (although we wish it was heated), and the grounds are fantastic The only criticism I would have is that the pillows could be a bit firmer (or at least an option) and the pool should be heated Otherwise, the hotel is highly recommended, thanks again to Nicole!

Please be aware that this hotel is gradually being renovated You may not get a newly renovated room, and that makes a world of differenceThe first time we stayed here, it was great! The room looked fresh and was very clean

We decided to book a second time (for longer) based on that first experience, and it’s like we’re in a different hotel entirely this time The carpet is old and there are bare footprints all over it from the previous guests — no one had vacuumed the room when we arrived It’s dirty, outdated, and smells oddly perfume-y and damp There is what looks like a blood stain on one of the pillow cases and the couch is stained and faded It’s clear that the room we were assigned to this time isn’t one of the renovated onesThe only reason we are staying tonight is that we checked in very late after a long cross country flight Despite our reservation being non-refundable we will be moving to a new hotel tomorrow Yuck! Avoid this place unless you enjoy the thrill of not knowing what you’re paying for

Great hotel and staff! The room was small, but modern, and had a great view of the ocean Lots to do in the hotel with the pool, pool table, and a couple of old-school video games in the lobby There were a few bikes right outside the lobby as well

I think you had to rent them, but it was nice to have them close by The rooftop bar and sitting area were nice to enjoy in the evening The staff was great in pulling over an umbrella to our chairs to shield us from the Florida sun They have a decent breakfast in the morning as well, but no microwaves on the Tru property side (It’s attached to a Home2 Suites) The hotel is close to the beach, and several restaurants There’s even an ice cream shop and a store to purchase your beach supplies nearby Just about everything you need is within walking distance, just steps outside the lobby doors You don’t need a car unless you plan to go sightseeing It’s a great quiet, family-friendly hotel We enjoyed the quiet few days that we spent there

Duncan Murray

If you’re looking for a place near the beach in Pompano this is it Room was OK It was clean

If you’re staying more than a day know that there are no closets or dressers and the room is tiny even to live out of a suitcase Front desk staff was helpful and kind Breakfast is about what you’d get from heating up Jimmy Dean in the microwave at home BUT the staff there in the morning was kind and upbeat and friendly making the food more than bearable If you’re looking for a place to sleep when at the beach this is great If you’re hotel is going to be a part of your vacation and not just where you sleep at night just know what your getting Overall it was a fine place and I’d go there again if on business in Pompano I arrived there on a Tuesday and was initially planning to stay through Sunday with Thursday – Sunday being vacation in the Miami area I elected to move to a different hotel on Thursday precisely because I wanted amenities Tru doesn’t offer and there’s nothing wrong with that Again, the staff was great

Wallace Pressley

The hotel was outstanding for the location, however we had reservations for a balcony room and didn’t receive that The room was clean and the staff down stairs were great During check in they asked when the cleaning lady should come by

We stated everyday just for towel and nothing else We received one set of towels during our stay for four days The room was clean other than that

This us actually an “Old Florida” timeshare without any of the typical timeshare BS It is well run and managed, the people who work here are like family, and the location can’t be beat locally Most “residents” own multiple weeks

Yet, it’s affordable with $2,500 for an off-season deed plus about $600 annual maintenance and taxes, which can be recouped on sale or renting your week if you can’t comeFor more information about the location look up Lauderdale by the Sea, which is the shore diving and snorkeling capital of the 48 contiguous states and has a thriving little dining and entertainment town center about two blocks north

I just visited here for my boyfriends birthday I only stayed 1 night but I have no complaints on my visit My room was very clean

The weather was at 40 degrees, got a delicious hot chocolate from the bistro I forgot tooth paste and asked the front desk for some and to my surprise they actually had it They were extremely friendly and polite They only reason didn’t give it 5 stars is because the rooms have no microwaves

Sharon Miller

Mattress was extremely soft and needed a chiropractor after my stay No one should be asked to sleep on a mattress with absolutely no support whatsoever Pillows had absolutely no support whatsoever

Bathroom has no fan Room was not cleaned We were ignored Front desk has an attitude key card works when it wants to Hotel needs a makeover

Patrick Vial

Perfect location Close to the beach but not right on A1A where it’s hard to find hotels with parking Hotel has plenty of free parking

There’s a Denny’s right across the street and the hotel has their own Deli Shop I didn’t use the pool but it looked cozy and comfortable with plenty of sun The hotel was spotless Crew was always keeping it clean I like the balconies in the rooms overlooking the pool Very cozy tropical style

We were moved last minute to this resort from another Wyndham booking nearby But I always try to not take out my Wyndham corporate frustration out locally It’s never their fault

So the front desk of our original booking was very professional and helpful The front desk at Santa Barbara equally so, super friendly and efficient We were provided a unit with a fantastic view and the layout is great The beach access at another Wyndham is across the street and easy to get to Parking is excellent! The other Wyndham also has a great little tiki bar which we really enjoyed using while kids were out n the sandLove the Santa Barbara space, the amenities, location and staff But just pay to stay here so you don’t have to deal with the constant Wyndham ownership nonsense

Beautiful resortGreat place for vacation with your familyLocation is awesome, very close to the beach and many good restaurants in walking distance

Also few outdoor pools and jacuzzi and bar are available Also at the beach available jetsky, cabanas and other stuffVery friendly and helpful personalsCheck in was quick and easy We stayed for few days and enjoyed every day

Meghan Tufte

This place is gorgeous! I love it here However, I must tell anyone who goes on vacation here about their deposit They charge you two deposits, but they tell you that they charge you one

One of them is hidden in a charge that is lifted a week after you arrive home So accept to be charged a large amount over the price they tell you They did refund our money, it just took awhile So bring extra money on vacation!

Damaris Ispas

Out of all the Wyndham resorts i stayed at this must be the worst the rooms look nothing like in the picture it’s like you’re in a motel 6, but a little bit updated I also have flee or bed bug bites on my legs it’s pretty gross The check in was so easy Michael was super nice and explained everything perfectly in detail super professional, now the concierge woman i was walked up to wasn’t even acknowledging me or even had the respect to introduce herself, her costumer service skills were awful then she takes to someone else to as she busy just chatting away about who knows what

I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone

We ended up at this hotel at the last minute because our original accommodation was

gross This hotel was beautiful We had a huge room with a kitchenette and beautiful view Short walk to restaurants and entertainment we enjoyed a late dinner outside while listening to live blues from a neighboring business If I was spending the week in Fort Lauderdale, I’d definitely stay here again

Anthony Falls

Stayed here two nights before a cruise in February 2022 Prices were astronomical in the city and I was able to use Marriott Points to redeem my stay (instead of $600+CDN night) I really enjoyed my stay at this property

The view of the Intracostal water from my room was fantastic The bed was very comfortable! They provide a complimentary breakfast which was delicious I was very impressed The location is about a 15-minute walk to the beach and the pool area at the hotel was good

Essence Clayton

Only stayed one night The water view, sky view, and lights view is nice My room wasn’t as clean as I expected

The lamp shade had blue coloring on it The balcony wasn’t as clean, the bathroom floor wasn’t as clean either They have no pancakes or waffles for breakfast, but the eggs wasn’t that bad Coffee not for my taste The Bar has limited options, didn’t see a poolside Bar as it was advertised on Priceline I didn’t think it was worth me paying over $250 for the room

My husband and I had a fantastic stay here There were many things that we both loved! The location was amazing It was close to many restaurants and the beach

It also had a pool and a hot tub, which is exactly what we wanted The complimentary breakfast was a plus too! I do have to brag about Dee C She was an absolute gem to see every morning and always welcomed us with a smile and a kind word for breakfast The hotel was clean and accommodating We would definitely come back to this location for another vacation!

Alice T

This was a great location! The room was very clean and stocked with what we needed The kitchenette area had utensils and dishware, however I would take care to wash them (with the provided soap) before using We did not have anything negative to report

There is public access to the rooftop, which provides a beautiful view of the ocean and has lots of outdoor seating for hanging out At night, the seating is filled up with bar guests I recommend going up to the rooftop on a clear night, the reflection of the moon on the ocean is amazing!

Rhonda Edwards-Noggle

We loved our stay here A last minute change to spring break plans but we’ll worth it Plenty of room in our room, an incredible view from the rooftop, yummy eats of all kinds in walking distance & steps from the beach

Pool table and arcade games for free in the lobby, a nice pool and a gym to please my hubby! Absolutely will be back!

Our server, she was great and the breakfast was perfect and delicious (forgot to take food pics) Morning beverage selection was excellent and many choices Eggs Benedict we’re perfect, side of fruit, side of bacon, orange juice and Cappuccino Nothing disappointed and my spouse felt the same way We will go again

MICHELLE SHERRER

Stayed with my 19 year old daughter for two days at the end of our spring break We loved the spacious room with a balcony and 3 large windows that gave an incredible ocean view Every employee and other guests we encountered were kind and pleasant

Outstanding live music and good food with reasonable prices Beach chairs and umbrellas seemed plentiful and included We didn’t care for the very small pool and lazy river which would probably be better appreciated by families Desperately needs an adult only hot tub and larger pool

The staff was really sweet It is right on the beach and the rooms overlook the ocean The pool area is really nice – we spent a lot of time chatting with the staff and enjoying drinks by the pool (well priced drinks)

Room was very nice – a bit dirty but nothing crazy (hairs in the corner, earrings left behind by previous guests) You can definitely hear the neighbors to your room and people in the hall easily

Overall our stay here has been very pleasant I have a beautiful view of the ocean from my balcony and that’s what I wanted when I booked this resort The staff are incredibly nice and helpful

My 6 year old grandson had an issue getting a toy we bought for him out of the packing The front desk clerk helped us The beach staff really lovely It’s in a quiet section of Lauderdale by the Sea with a 3 block walk to all the action on Commercial where there are many restaurants and live music On the negative the rooms do smell Someone said like a wet dog that sounds about right ! They are very sparse not even a coffee maker or bottle of water in the room and no room service so you can’t call for aCoffee when you get up in the morning However I was told you can get water at the front desk and we did The website I booked through said it had been renovated in 2017 It is in serious need of it now Very run down I would stay here again but I seriously hope they remove the carpets in the room and add a coffee maker

These reviews have to be fake…I was debating between this place and Sea Lord and chose CBTS based on the reviews stating it was relaxing and the owners were friendly It is neither of these things The owner acted annoyed when she had to check me in and I never saw her again until I checked out a week later and was snapped at to just push the keys under the office door when I tried to talk to her

Let’s talk about the noise It is constant Nonstop traffic and trashy families screaming/fighting by the poolThe bed was comfortable That’s itAs far as value, extremely disappointing to say the least I went to Paris three months later and stayed in a four star hotel with a view of the Eiffel Tower that cost less than this placePerhaps I just don’t understand Florida…

We stayed for 1 night but it was great The front desk staff was friendly Ernesto Figueroa helped at the front desk and he was very friendly

The lady who sat us for breakfast was super friendly Our server was very friendly as well The whole breakfast was great One lady behind the omelets station was alone and doing everything from scrambled eggs to making omelets, to making waffles She did it all by herself and she was still so friendly The pool was great The water temperature was perfect The bar staff was friendly Everyone in this hotel looks like they want to be there and truly enjoy their job I would recommend this hotel 100 times over We will be back Thank you so much to all the staff members at this hotel You guys are great

This wasn’t a favorite, for sure It’s generally a nice hotel but it was clearly purchased from an Embassy Suites and even with the renovations they are doing, it’s a very dated hotel There are also areas of the grounds in your way in that almost look like the area was abandoned

The area right around the property though, has very attractive up-to-date landscapingStaff was ok, though no one seemed overly cheerful or happy to be thereThe rooms were clean, nicely appointed and comfortable, though their TV system dropped out and lost signal repeatedly In this day and age, maybe cable would be a better option for higher-end hotels in Florida where storms are a constant

thesecret shopper

We’ve been coming here many times and the last time we were there was just this month of April and everyone was amazing especially people at the banquet, they’re so helpful and friendly! My concern is just the breakfast buffet price which is $20++ plus 18% gratuity!! Which is shocking I know it’s a hotel and everything Is really expensive but $20 plus for a simple buffet? I think they need to make the price lesser And I was surprised that the housekeepers can’t clean our room because of COVID

🤦 Overall, everything was an amazing experience! All the staff were friendly especially front desk and banquet staff!

Also, we were able to walk right on to the sand and not cross a street to get to the beach We lucked out on this place and we will be back for our next company trip! Thank you to the staff – you all were great!

My fiancé and I recently stayed at the hotel for about a week and we had a very pleasant experience The staff at the front desk are very friendly and provide exceptional customer service The housekeeping is outstanding and the best from any hotel I stayed at

The man that puts the chairs and umbrellas on the beach is very friendly and provides great service I would definitely stay at the hotel again

Avoid Junior Suite 103!I spent a couple of days at the Sun Tower Hotel, before flying home to the UK The hotel location on the beach, and the rooms and facilities are all good – but the doors both onto the corridor and onto the deck are so ill-fitting that room insulation is non existent

I booked 2 nights into a junior suite / room 103, which has a larger sea-view terrace – it is also next to the kitchen and restaurantI was woken both nights at exactly 04:20 by the noise of 2 kitchen stewards creating the weirdest, loudest, repetitive squeaking noise, as they scraped down the floors and kitchen appliancesThe second night I walked into the kitchen and complained, and to be fair they did stop what they were doingThe issue here is the insulation – a door that fitted into its frame, and the inclusion of a second internal door, inside the suite, would go a very long way to improve the noise insulation, of a room which is being sold at a premium because of the large deck onto the beachSuite 101 and 102 would not be affected by this noise problemThere were plenty of plusses, the beach location, and the comfy bed and large deck were great, and the little beach cafe was excellent, serving up good quality, simple dishes from 09:00 through until 21:00

This has become our new happy place!! It’s SO clean, the staff is amazing and accommodating, the grounds are beautifully kept, the rooms are luxurious and comfortable and the views are incredible at any hour of the day! The location is perfect – we never bother renting a car because everything is in walking distanceI love how the owners of this family run business take the time every day to connect with their guests – they could be seen early in the morning resetting the pool chairs and stopping to chat and check in with people, sitting with new arrivals or those getting ready to depart in the lounge area by the office, or just being present every day You can see and feel their passion for this resort and their desire to provide every guest with a positive experience

The team – from the office staff to the grounds keepers to the housekeepers were all incredibly friendly and are clearly treated well by the owners We had a battery issue with our in-room safe and they immediately came and rectified it – with a smile and friendly conversationI could go on and on about how lovey this resort is but I think you get the picture It ticks off all of the boxes for being a super high quality, well run, spotless and fabulous place Like Maureen in the office says, “if you can’t be happy here – you’re probably not happy anywhere!”

Excellent experience all around, from the cleanliness to the friendly staff! It’s a beautiful property, very tastefully done The location is perfect: a short walk to the town “square” for numerous restaurants and shops Can also easily walk to a convenience store, liquor store and Publix

Love the location and the staff is very friendly and helpful The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because the tiki bar closes super early and there is no music or entertainment like they used to have before Covid If you’re staying at a resort on the beach with a tiki bar, why not stay open past 8 pm? And offer some kind of entertainment? That place would be packed if they did

Who wants to drive to another hotels tiki bar for fun if you have one at the hotel you’re staying at? The bartenders could be a tad bit friendlier as well

We had a great week here Upon check in my son was excitedly telling the receptionist that his birthday was the next day To our suprise upon entering our condo she had a beach bucket full of goodies, a card, a quite a few balloons

Our son was over the top thrilled at the suprise! We stayed in the two bedroom two bath deluxe It had a lovely view of the Ocean, one of the pools, and the rooftop sun deck There was plenty of room, the second bath was quite spacious which would come in handy if you happen to have teenage girls (ours are grown now but I clearly recall them having disagreements over who got ready when 😉) I enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub in master (I love that about Wyndham resort’s) The beds were comfortable and kitchen is well equipped There were not many activities but we happened to catch the ice cream social coming in from the beachMy only complaint is that the chair rental company takes up way too much space on the beach It’s almost completely covered from the resort exist to the shore with rentals

I gave 4 stars for the rooms because they’re a bit outdated but extremely well maintained Service was outstanding from all departments The employees respect their duties and the visitors

Location was great also with every and anything close by I only gave it 4 stars because I had to commute to and from Miami at 45-60 minutes each way, but I knew that prior to booking my stay Overall, I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable and relaxing stay at a very well kept and friendly resort

Christina Sutton

Rooms were pretty spacious We had a two bedroom two bath which had a king size bed and double beds There was washer n dryer In the unit

The front desk was friendly and not pushy about buying a timeshare Great amenities, the slide, the gym, the activities center Only downsides were their happy hour wasn’t complimentary and the checkout is at 10am
