The hotel is definitely above average I would love to stay here on my next visit The staff was pleasant and helpful and the rooms were well kept

The washer dryer combo made our extended stay convenient This plsce is close to the beaches and restaurantsThere are many different activities near by

Althea Walker

The hotel looks cute, but it has many flaws They only provide bath towels Thus, you will need to purchase washclothes and hand towels

If it rains, be careful because the sidewalks in front of the hotel are a falling hazard Finally, the dryers they provided in the rooms do NOT work I informed the front desk that I had to use the blow dryer to dry some of my clothes because the dryer still had not worked after 6 hours non-stop I will rewash my clothes at home Finally, there is no parking at the hotel You have to pay $30 a day for parking or park and walk blocks I will never stay here again

Wu Amie

Very impressive studio with modern design and complete tableware There is a washing machine as well! Super convenient for the last day of our tripBe aware that there is about $38 for resort fee

We stayed at the Eden Roc for our first wedding anniversary and had the absolute best time! We were upgraded to an ocean facing suite when we checked in which was a wonderful surprise The view was incredible and we loved sitting on the balcony with our coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening The resort is beautiful with three pools and beach access

There is also a walking/running path right out front which was a great way to get exercise and walk to other hotels for dinner The staff was extremely attentive and hardworking, especially Eddie at the pool! We requested an umbrella a couple of times and he was so kind to accommodate us The wait staff at the pool area was also wonderful and the drinks and food were delicious! On our last day, we requested a late check out and they honored it with no issue Overall, we had a fantastic stay and highly recommend! We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I booked a weekend trip to Miami This was our first time in the city I booked the hotel blindly and what a great choice

It’s a lovely hotel I would definitely book it again It was a fun and exciting hotel and away from the busy end of the beach The hotel offers chairs, towels and concierge service on the beach My husband and I were able to lay out on the beach all day and even able to enjoy food and drinks from the wait staff

Jannie Rivers

No full body mirror and the $20000 per night hold liability fee, which is extreme in my opinion Also, finding out the hold can take from 3-14 days to be released back to you after you check out

Otherwise my room was clean, the staff was great and the amenities were awesome We had a great time overall Would recommend it for big groups in order to split the bill 😂

No complaints! Pool was nice and clean Front desk staff was friendly The hotel received a historic preservation award when remodeled and it shows

Some folks with me complained about the classic room with a balcony being small but how much time do you really plan to spend in your room? There are larger ones available and the things that need to be there are there The shower has a nice rain style shower head Good deal for the price Only wish I have is that there would be a little conference room of some sort

Laetitia Coleman

My friend and I stayed 3 nights It was a pretty decent stay Rooms were very clean but small

Beds felt amazing! Someone came to clean the room every day while we were gone There’s no microwave in the room and very tiny mini bar fridge The pool area was a lot smaller than expected Location was pretty good Just a 5 to 15 minute walk to most shops on Collins and about a 5 minute walk to the beach (straight shot) When you book read the terms and conditions about the $150 a day for incidental fees This is different than the resort fee Overall we enjoyed our time here

Jason Ohrum

This is the first negative review I’ve ever written but want to warn people We booked this place through Tripadvisorcom where you will see a king room with a nice big window

The room we got was on the first level in a separate building and did not have a window that you could see out of because it was next to the loading dock We felt like we were in the basement with lots of noises throughout the night When have you ever stayed in a hotel without a window? It is claustrophobic We asked to be moved but the manager never called back and they claimed no other rooms were available so we stayed in that room for 3 out of 4 nights The lobby was under construction and the entire place smelled like paint and joint compound The room was across from the fitness room and the stairs so it was incredibly loud as well The hotel is in a great location with a pool and beach access, and I liked the retro style so that is why I booked it When we checked out I talked at length with the manager asking for some type of compensation since we felt the value we received was far less than the cash money fiat currency we paid She refused to extend any type of courtesy of any form and indicated that I simply didn’t book the correct room type A disappointing customer service experience to say the least

The room is dirty Not just they didn’t wipe the bathroom this one time dirty, it has been neglected for a while Stains on most of furniture

Overall, just disappointing Details have been neglected for a while The staff was rude on several occasionsThe hotel was disappointing The view of the water and the quiet (other than highway noise) could have made for a very enjoyable stay The breakfast is very good

Sam Silver

Over all the hotel is nice, but one of the things I like to do is going into the hot tubIt was boiling hot, in my opinion even dangerousI spoke to the staff a few time but they didn’t seem to care

Asked to speak to hotel manager got no response I would expect better service

We stayed for 3 nights, this hotel was great for the price Across the street from the beach, having chairs and towels was nice which was included in the resort fee The breakfast was good for a quick bite

The room was clean, there is daily room service we chose not to use it for a few days just requested for new linens Parking garage was underneath the hotel for a fee but better then looking for street parking I’d recommend this hotel and we would def stay again here

Donnell Mitchell

The room we stayed in was spacious, nice and clean The hotel made sure that we had everything we neededI liked the location of the hotel

Michelle Klein

Our stay at the Hilton Bentley was fantastic We arrived before check in, and were told we would have an upgraded room due to our gold status to a 1 bedroom suite! It stated a courtyard view, but truly it had a fantastic view of the ocean The room was large, and well appointed with the kitchenette, large bathroom and balcony

Staff was all very nice and accommodating, everything was very clean, and house keeping was good We were quickly supplied with any additional needs (amenities, towels, etc) The first day we sat at the beach while waiting for our room, and ordered drinks and food from the restaurant We also ate at the restaurant on our second day, and I had the grilled octopus and it was delicious Service was great all around, and it was truly just a fantastic stay and getaway for my husband and I We saw families enjoying the hotel also, and we would return as a family because the 1 bedroom suites are so roomy Enjoy!

Rachel

We had a great stay this week! The front staff and beach staff were very polite and so helpfulOur room was clean, no strange stains as other guests have mentioned The food at Santorini’s was delicious and arrived in a timely manner to our beach chairs

The drinks were also greatThere are two pools and a jacuzzi We enjoyed them all I agree that it is a little confusing to find info on the amenities, but the guest services staff members were helpful in answering my questionsI would stay here again!

AEJ

The hotel and rooms are nice and very clean The grounds are lovely, but if you want to swim in the pool, you’ll be surrounded by restaurant patrons seated right next to the pool Also, if room service is important to you, be aware that it’s basically just takeout in a bag

It was very helpful to have a fully stocked kitchen with microwave, stovetop and large fridge, but be aware that there is no dishwasher Climate control was a challenge We had a one bedroom suite, with only one thermostat, which was in the kitchen, and there were only 2 vents ~ the larger one in the kitchen and the other, very small one in the bedroom closet, so we had to leave the closet and bedroom doors open at night, and the bedroom was still very warm

My wife and I had a great time here getting away from the Texas cold Very close to beautiful beach (2-3 minute walk) and the staff always greeted us and made us feel welcome The rooms were luxurious and big, and they had balconies where I could hear ocean

The customer experience nearly ruined our stay Let me start by saying that some of the grievances began with the customer support for diamond members, but the hotel employees didn’t make it any better

First issue: my husband called the diamond status line to cancel one of the days that we would be staying there The rep said he did what we asked but my husband received an email notification that all our days had been canceledSecond issue: Called the diamond preferred number again and the lady didn’t understand the issue and hung up on my husbandThird time we called: CS rep apologized for the issue and wanted to make it right She upgraded us to a junior suite My husband got an email and saw that we got a double instead of a kingFourth time we called the hotel and told them what happened The guy at the front desk scoffed at my husband and called him a liar when my husband told him that we were upgraded He did this without even looking at the account And by this time, my husband was highly frustrated and the front desk guy hung up on him after my husband expressed his frustrationFifth time, we called Diamond number again and spoke to a manager He ended up changing us to a Junior suite with a king bed and issued us a credit for the points we usedSixth issue My husband was trying to surprise meSince it was our anniversary He had a box with four dozen roses sent to the hotel and asked them to set it up in the room so that when I walked in, I would be surprised The hotel said they would accommodate Luckily, my husband asked some friends to keep me busy while he went to check in And when he did, the roses were not set up like he had askedSo all in all, it could’ve been a great stay Rooms were clean View of the bay was nice And the hotel had an entire retail area But the employees are there to do the bare minimum and could care less about their customers

S.M. Barnes

Very nice hotel, beautiful views of the Bay from my room and an excellent location! One main gripe I have are the cookies

why do y’all have only chocolate chip & walnut? There are so many people w/nut allergies, why not offer plain chocolate chip? On to my review Unfortunately, there were gnats flying all throughout our room and we could not kill enough for them to be gone The shower sprayed water from the top of the shower head and put water all over the toilet and bathroom floor Room service didn’t make our beds the first day we were there They just dropped clean towels and washcloths and moved to the next room During our meals, one lady on the waitstaff was so quick to try and remove people’s plates/silverware, she didn’t even bother to ask if we were finished our meals And when we objected to the removal, she tried to give it back, but by then she had already touched it and we no longer wanted it We had to complain to the service manager, Ramon, I think (who was amazingly AWESOME) and he made sure to take care of my table both days His smile was BIG and infectious; he was a gem! The carpets in the hallway were dirty and full of stains, where one was so bad, I honestly thought it was blood I also saw an employee sitting in the bottom floor lobby area smoking a vape Shouldn’t that be done outside?! I, for one, am very sensitive to any type of smoke due to a medical condition, so I feel would this would be unacceptable and not allowed by hotel management The upside is the food was really good, the meeting rooms were large and spacious, and the outside terrace had spectacular views! The location could not have been more perfect! Also, the front desk staff were very courteous and professional The pros outweighed the cons for the week I stayed and may consider this location in the future

Brandon Reese

Building is in rough shape Guest wifi barely strong enough for email Our ceiling leaked enough to fill a trash can overnight

Elevators won’t get you to ALL rooms, so be ready for a few oddly placed stairs Ocean side view is great, staff was very friendly and helpful Valet was prompt and reasonably priced Good location to walk to lots of things worth walking to Stay because it’s far cheaper than the real Hilton across the street, but that’s about it

The staffs, especially the reservation manager and front desk concierge, were wonderful and helpful with professionalism Customer service was great all aroundEven though room and lobby were not super luxurious, they were spacious and very clean, exactly as advertised

Pool was decent, not crowed Access to the beach was easyThis hotel truly reminds you that you are on vacationDefinitely worth considering if you are in mid beach !

This hotel located in Bal Harbour has a nice pool with easy beach access It was a very quiet hotel They have workers in the pool area that will set you up for the pool or the beach

The pool servicemen were very nice and accommodating The area is quiet and about 1-3 blocks from restaurants and the Shops at Bal Harbour Their workout room is dated and could use a revamping I made it work while I was there but they could easily discard half of their equipment I would stay here again

Wendy Allen

We stayed here the day my husband proposed The property is old, but lends to charm The rooms are updated and big

The bar gets crowded at dinner time and the beach is literally right there off the huge pool The prices are very reasonable for the area Parking is extra We will come back again and again Good value and customer service

Great hotel/location Less helpful staffGreat location, modern rooms, and a nice pool area

Overall nothing bad to say about the facilities (we didn’t dine in but it looked great) Was there for 7 days and didn’t get tired of the roomDrawbacks: Will echo others on noise You will hear your neighbors Not a big deal as we were there for a weekday conference but I imagine it would be pretty bad during the weekend if people were partying Beds were also just average Also no heavy curtains so you will wake up with the sunStaff: Cesar was great and helped out when the hotel had double booked our room but daytime staff was pretty lazy and didn’t do simple things like bring up a coffee pod or help out with luggage and generally had an attitude like she didn’t want to be there Get staffing right and it will be top notch

Sabry Sabouni

Location is amazing, room is clean, staff are very welcoming, specially at the receptionFood is super delicious and lot of dishes from different cuisine in the menu

I like also the services at the beach, the guy Luck is very kind and friendlyThe only thing that I didn’t like is the AC It is hard to adjust the AC temperature, so it it either very cold or fan only, and it is very noisyNot all Gym machines work Only two out of four workAll in all, I recommend Berkeley Shore Hotel, and I will stay in the same hotel if I come back again to Miami

Imaan

We had a great stay here while in Miami The location is truly excellent, in the heart of South Beach, rooms are clean and updated with timely daily housekeeping We also took advantage of beach access through their partnership with the Loews hotel across the street

If you are looking for an amazing hotel lobby or vast amenities, this is not that If you are looking for a clean, simple, boutique-type hotel in a central location, then this your place

A little lovely place, but improvements are needed Certain things needs to be addressed Like front desk phone number and is no where to be found

Some coffee table in the living room, room service, and cleaning services that understand what it means to clean a room, etc Overall, it is a great place, close to the beach, shopping, transportation etc

So far not so good

We’ve just arrived after over 3 hours at the airport When we walked through the door were we greeted with any kind of hospitality?? No The manager let out an exasperated sigh as we walked through the door And told us he had paperwork to finish and for us to wait 10 minutes He then put his head in his hands and sighed again, as we sat on the sofa confused, tired, and feeling as if we’d somehow inconvenienced him His attitude is plain rude I hope this is not indicative of customer service going forward We’re here for 7 more days

The hotel was phenomenal It actually felt like a resort The location was great, walking distance to all the major areas

The staff was very accommodating and welcoming It’s clear that the staff is trained a certain way to provide the upmost experience for the guests Alex (pool bar manager) went above and beyond to make this trip a memorable one His work ethic shows how passionate he is about his job Not to mention the staff at the beach It’s amazing to watch those guys run around in that kind of heat! The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping was great Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a luxury place It was worth every penny! Will definitely be returning!

The stay was nice, the pool staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, until there was no hot water in the rooms The hotel knew of this issue, did not tell the guests (even with their text message system), and when I called front desk she said it was an issue with a vendor and no ETA on the fix She could not care less

Her manager offered two solutions (to pack up my entire family and move to the other tower?! or take my toddler at bedtime to shower at the spa at the other tower?!) that did not work for me and said he’d call back when it was fixed He also said they were notifying guests by putting a letter under their doors (of all rooms in their main tower… sure…)I did not receive the aforementioned letter or phone call I did receive a small credit to my resort fee at check out the next morning after I said they provided BS next steps I can’t believe a hotel of that size doesn’t have any action plan or compensation plan for a major issue like NO HOT WATERHope they don’t reply to thank me for the review to help them grow/improve rather spend the time being more proactive with their guests instead

This is one of the few kid friendly and family friendly hotels in Miami beach However, even here the party crowd obviously is favored The pool closes early

around 5pm, so does the beach (chairs and umbrellas) I’m not sure why The food options for dinner inside the hotel are pretty much only room service We ate in the hotel restaurant once for dinner and had to wait an hour until our food arrived In the meantime they dimmed the lights and turned up the volume so my kids got cranky and I did not even have the opportunity to finish my dinner myself The rooms are rather small but that’s fine if you spend most of your day anyways outside There’s no kid friendly menu for the pool side (except for usual chicken fingers etc) or beach as you have to go inside the hotel for ice cream or similar Also upon arrival we were not shown around and felt treated rather second class The location is beautiful though and i still prefer staying here than many other hotels Overall for the 5* rating i must say it’s the details that are missing No evening room prep, no welcome gifts, no high end toiletries, no extra toiletries, cheap toilet paper, no bath robes, no show around in the beginning, no intro to spa or amenities, the furniture a bit run down no complimentary water or snacks, there’s really that extra touch missing It’s a fancier holiday inn

I stayed here with many family members in multiple different rooms and towers We had a nice time together, but the rooms were incredibly overpriced and the service, especially at the checking in and check out counters was awful All the food and drinks were very expensive and the gym had old and broken equipment

The place has so many private functions that they are constantly closing down areas to the guests so we had to walk way out of our way to get to the pool areas I was staying in a room I had booked for several days and one of the days a guest walked in on me with their key The front desk had put a new guest in my room while I still was staying there! Not only was it an invasion of my privacy, but they walked in on me undressed and could have stolen things out of my room When I went to the front desk to complain, they didn’t even apologize and just said that they would move the other guest to a new room The situation was not handled well and completely ruined my stay One of my family members also had several issues with their room, including no hot water and one family in the suite said their microwave and washer/dryer didn’t work In the regular rooms there are no mini fridges unless you pay money to open and close the fridge to the alcohol In my opinion, there are probably so many other places you could stay with nicer, more affordable prices and with a more pleasant staff I’m giving 2 stars because we did have an incredible meal at the Italian place the one night, and the men who worked at the pool who set up chairs and umbrellas were incredibly nice and helpful

My teenage daughter and I booked an oceanfront room with a balcony in the main building and had a fabulous stay! Literally every staff member we interacted with from the front desk, concierge and luggage staff, to housekeeping, pool, restaurant, and beach staff was fantastic and seemed to care very much about customer service The amenities on site were beautiful and the lively music and scene were fun for my daughter She also loved the gym

It’s incredible and well outfitted Our room was clean and very nice, and so was the facilityThe only things that were tough for a four-day stay were the meal prices My daughter eats easily, but I am a vegan I found one item at each meal I could have, and in especially loved the offering at La Cote, but the prices for even the simplest foods were so high, that we spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on food that really was just ok and certainly didn’t warrant those prices with all the gratuities included To have a refrigerator in the room to make breakfast or a quick snack easy would have been 25/day, which did t make sense for two people The pools were also very, very warm, and there aren’t too too any umbrellas, so it was tough to lounge by the pools for as long as we would have liked, but we truly enjoyed it nonethelessIf breakfast had been included in our stay, or some of the options made simpler with more vegan options, I would have rated this 5 stars Great stay, but I really felt we spent unnecessarily on all our simple meal and snack needs

Unfortunately the Fontainebleau hotel has dropped in overall quality (but certainly not in price!) We stayed at the hotel 3 years ago and really enjoyed our experience there It seems since covid, the hotel has really gone downhill

The prices are more insane than ever (food, drinks, room rates) Our room felt dirty and was rundown/shabby The carpet was gross and the nightstands were covered in dust They really need to renovate their rooms The staff was very friendly and accommodating, I must note We enjoyed the pools and the poolside service (the food and drinks are wildly expensive, though) Our balcony door was broken which made me feel uncomfortable the entire stay Overall, I feel the iconic Fontainebleau has lost its former glory We won’t be staying here again

All stuff members we met are super nice Always with a smile and a free water bottle to giveLocation is great

It’s very close to everything yet very quietThe room was nice and clean There was one issue, that A/C fan was blowing too strong directly on the bed We ended up turning it off and opening the window It was November so the weather was very nice

Had an amazing experience at Pestana SB Got the hotel early expecting to drop off the car and baggage with valet/bell and was able to get a deluxe king upgrade and get into the room early Very large room with king bed, sofa sitting area, decent sized bathroom

Bell brought up our bags from our car, gave us a bottle of wine and two complimentary drink vouchers for the bar The service the whole trip was very great! All of the employees we had helping us went above and beyond The locations was within walking distance of the beach, with loungers and umbrellas provided per the hotel We were also very close to Collins Ave and the large variety of shops, bars and restaurants in that area A few minutes walked to Ocean Dr Would stay again and would recommend any time!

Great service and friendly people! The room wasn’t anything special, but it certainly got the job done on our 5 night vacation Staff was very nice and cleaned our room when requested Valet service was $40/night and is a must have when there is barely any public parking around the hotel

Everything that makes South Beach awesome was within walking distance We loved the location of the hotel!!

We stayed here for one night on a Thursday night and had a great time The staff is welcoming and friendly We enjoyed both the bar and the cafe in the morning

The ‘chill room’ upstairs near the pool is really nice It’s walkable to a ton of amazing restaurants! In reference to the music coming from the bar, it is loud as other reviewers have said Our room was one of the closer rooms (right off the lobby by the cafe) but my husband and I always use a white noise app when staying at hotels and we could barely hear the music and slept completely through the night We would definitely stay again!

Amazing hotel!!! Very clean with the friendliest staff Louis at the breakfast bar and rubin at the bar were awesome! The bikes provided by the hotel were a big plus as well Breakfast was delicious and the pool area was perfect

Walking distance to everything I will definitely stay here again We liked it so much we even extended our stay an extra day Can’t say enough great things about this hotel and the staff

Completely exceeded my expectations! The staff was so welcoming & accommodating The rooms were clean and quiet The bar was filled with fun and charm

Perfect walking distance to the quiet, empty beach—where chairs and umbrellas were provided The pool, the plants and scenery were beautiful and I 100% intend to rebook in the future!

For the price, I can’t think of a better value in South Beach The location is right in the middle of everything you could want, the beach is up the clock, restaurants, bars and shopping all within walking distance This is one of the few hotels at this price point to offer a pool, a rooftop one at that

They also have a restaurant on site and a beautiful courtyard area to sit And the housekeeping was OUTSTANDING! Seems like a minor thing but there is nothing worse than returning from a long day to a messy hotel room(even tho you made the mess lol) But at the Fairwind, no matter what time I left for the day, by the time I got back the room was spotless The beds were also very comfyWith all that being said, the walls, at least in my room, were painfully thin I could literally here everything from conversations to snoring from the adjoining rooms Also, there was a decent sized gap in the shower door so the floor got pretty wet after a shower However, I’m not a super picky person so those things were minor to meI enjoyed my 5 day stay and would definitely stay again!

I loved everything about this hotel! My first interaction with Liz was amazing she literally treated me like family The hotel is literally a block away from the beach I booked the Premium Loft Hotel Room and it was beautiful!! The terrace/private rooftop was beyond big

Infinity pool to die for and amazing drinks + sunsets views! I will definitely stay here every time we come back to Miami!

Claudia Martinez

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night It was great, from the moment we walked in I realized that we had chosen a good hotel, the aroma in the lobby is divine! The young lady at the front desk Lis gave us incredible attention, she gave us beach towels and a coupon for two additional drinks for my husband’s birthday, we used it at the pool bar The pool is perfect for having fun and drinking (it has a very good atmosphere especially in the afternoon), without a doubt it is one of the best things about this hotel

The food at the restaurant was delicious and the service in the coffee area was exceptional The hotel has a very good location, we did not have to use the car, it is one block from Ocean Drive and 5 minutes from the beach The entire stay at the hotel was excellent, we will come back!!
