Staff was absolutely wonderful especially since I arrived at 2am I was here for a family medical emergency the night staff remembered my name even enquiring about my son’s health I appreciated the thoughtfulness

The room was clean spacious and most of all the bed comfortable Pool and hot tub were relaxing I am an older woman, was alone, the complex was safe Recommend to anyone anytime I forgot to take pictures but it is beautiful

Kelly Lavadie

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfortable that I actually researched purchasing one online The staff was responsive to our needs

They did have a shortage of staff so we opted to have limited/no cleaning services during our stay, but this wasn’t problematic I would love to stay in this hotel again in the future

More like a 35Pros: Clean, spacious room with nice check-in people

Cons:1) Someone tried to enter my room (I can only assume and hope it was the cleaners) at 8:30am Luckily the door was dead-bolted, because they actually managed to open the door Cleaners need to be better trained to not try and barge into rooms without warning, because the checkout time is 11am or later anyway2) Layout of hotel is pretty confusing and its a large hotel Only one elevator at one end of the building so you’d either have to strategically park at that side entrance, walk a lot or take the stairs3) Parking should really be included in the room rate, rooms are already pricey

Great rooms, good breakfast, Terrible front desk reception Darnell made us wait for 30 minutes s to check in I had only two choices

Not check in and get charged, or wait for Marriott website to go back online We will never go back Instead of eating hot food that we got from takeout, I am waiting for front desk to print out forms which took him three times He has NO EMPATHY at all for our familyI get that we had an outdated form, but we only were given 2 options Cancel the reservation and pay full price or hang out in the lobby with the family in the car to get an updated form I did not have the option of paying full price for the room and staying there even though I would be charged full price but not be able to stay the night On the expired form there is a code that the hotel could have verified if they had any empathy, but as you can see from the owner’s response they still do not understand what was the issue

So I want to start by saying I’m a Titanium Elite member and have stayed in countless Marriotts all over the country The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Belmont Redwood Shores was the absolute worst They claim to be “pet friendly” but that’s only towards dogs not cats

I called the Elite reservation line to book a 4 night stay, 1 night with points The hotel is “pet friendly” and I made sure to tell the representative that I had a cat Everything is booked and I prepaid for the nights stay After I got off the phone I called the hotel directly and spoke with someone (I believe her name was Julia) to make sure that I had a “pet friendly” room reserved for my cat, no problem Then I drive from Washington state to California I start checking in and for some reason they’re having problems with my reservation since one night is with points and the other three were prepaid Then they are getting ready to give me the pet form to fill out and I mention my cat They say we take dogs only! I tell them this has all be confirmed with the Marriott Elite reservation line and I had called the hotel myself They continue to say no cats, my cat is a 4lb Persian that has a lion haircut (mostly shaved) Then the manager Ben Lawson is called and he says “no cats in my hotel because they’re more allergenic then dogs” I have never heard of such a thing A pet friendly hotel is a pet friendly hotel You can bring cats on planes so I’m not sure what this was all about but I felt very discriminated against and it was embarrassing that I was being turned away I was so tired after my long drive and now I’m being forced to find a different hotel After staying in over a thousand nights in Marriott hotels the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Belmont Redwood Shores really disappointed

Nate Richardson

This hotel refuses to help in any way should circumstances out of your control put you in a position where you can no longer travel I came down with COVID the day I was supposed to travel The receptionist refused to allow me to alter my booking in any way

This was for required work travel and I just asked to shift the booking to a future date They offered no remedy and charged me full price I will never stay here ever, and I suggest those who read this review do the same

Kind of surprised at the quality of this hotel for the price Stayed for a friend’s wedding but would not stay again Area rug and bathroom sink were dirty in our room, there were cracks in the floor of the shower, and couldn’t even get staff to answer basic housekeeping calls

The most frustrating moment was asking for washcloths and receiving bath mats, hand towels, and then moist towelettes, in that order Despite staff being friendly, they seem poorly trained

This is a newer hotel with modern design It’s located right next to a big shopping mall, many convenience stores, supermarket, restaurants The hotel is kid friendly and it has a long swimming pool if you want to do lap swim

That is a rare amenity Oh, it’s half outdoor with half shade but it is heated !! The staff is nice and very responsive to our request Room is clean with a great view of the mountain and a cute dog park

Katz

Wonderful experience staying here while house hunting after a cross country move Every person that I interacted with on staff was warm and kind They helped me with a number of unusual requests without hesitation and I felt very supported with the special needs of the stay

The food at the restaurant was super delicious and had something for everyone but featured really fresh ingredients and outstanding flavors Pro tip – request a room with a core of the dog park- delightful Highly recommend!

I really don’t ever leave reviews, but this hotel was fantastic It was very clean, the rooms had very nice views, and the surrounding area has a lot of food options The staff and management also went above and beyond to make my stay great

I was (to my bad fortune) working nights while on business travel, and was having a hard time sleeping during the day with the sound of footsteps above me Not their fault at all, people move around during the day, just my bad luck The front desk allowed me to move to a top floor room no problem and I slept like a baby I also found the HVAC units to be very quiet The staff was kind and the restaurant staff was so kind as well, as was the bartender There was a small mix up with one of my call in orders (no problem, humans make mistakes, and I called close to kitchen close time) The bartender was kind enough to give me a drink on the house, and my food was brought to my room I totally understand mistakes happen, so it wasn’t necessary, but it really shows how much the staff here cares about their guests If I’m out for work travel again I will certainly be staying here

Very nice hotel overall Comfortable clean room Good size, including safe and refrigerator

Coffee maker and most amenities provided Very nice bathroom with good space One thing to note is that only one drawer was in the room, and the shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner was fixed to the wall of the shower Also the bathtub was large but did not allow for a bath to be taken because the drain stop seemed to be intentionally disabled

Pamela Olesen

I rarely give five stars but as I try to think about what could have been better to get a fifth star, I can’t think of anything criticalRooms are be modern, staff were friendly, atmosphere is great, ❤️ the hydration stations! The only thing I’ve found in the last few Marriotts is a lack of shelf/bench/ledge

anything to make shaving your legs even possible in the shower

I wanted to like this hotel stay more; however, there were a lot of little inconveniences that frustrated me As a frequent traveler I’m used to things being different than what I’m used to, but things like the light switches either seemed to regularly not function, or just be incredibly unintuitive The overhead light in the entryway fell out of it’s housing on my first day staying in my room

The gym was incredibly stuffy (temperature was fine, just zero airflow) Also, everyday the room was cleaned, whoever did the cleaning turned the hand faucet so it pointed out of the shower door at high pressure, so almost every morning I gave the bathroom a nice spritzing of water before I had to turn it back to a position that made sense There were a few other oddities, but again, hotel was mostly just fine other than weird things that kept popping up regularly

We stayed at the Penthouse Suite for our wedding weekend, and I would strongly recommend the same for other couples The hotel is beautiful, both the rooms and common areas, and the staff was extremely thoughtful and considerate during the booking process as well as during the weekend Compared to other hotels in the area, the price is much more justified by the quality of the experience

I highly recommend El Prado and hope to return some day

Alexah Rogge

Gorgeous hotel– we were trying to rent an event space for weeks/months but the service was extremely disappointing, waiting extended periods for a response from the events/sales coordinator, no contract sent after saying it would be sent several times, etc We sent several ‘hi just checking in on this’ emails to try to move the process along and get a response, but eventually we just decided to not risk it with the unreliable service and scheduled our event at a different hotel Hopefully the service improves because it is a lovely space

My family and I stayed at the El Prado hotel It was a fantastic stay and would love to stay there again The hotel staff was extremely polite, the rooms were very clean, no noise, and a great view of the courtyard

We originally ordered 1 room but opted to get a second room so our kids would have more space to spread out (besides, it would have been difficult for my wife and kids to share 1 bathroom)The location of the hotel is just off the main street that has several restaurants We had plans to go to Il Forniao (Italian restaurant downstairs) but we had jetlag and unfortunately, the restaurant was close to closing that night we arrived I had eaten at the restaurant in the past and it has a wonderful menu selection and amazing pastaWe took the kids down the street to Salt and Straw (icecream) It’s a must if you are staying at El Prado Get the Cookie dough and Cinnamon icecreams if you go thereRoom service in the hotel was very good My kids thought the chicken strips and the grilled cheese sandwich were a bit drybut the tuna was REALLY good (make sure you get the bowl of mixed berries with your dinnerthat was also very good) For breakfast we had the omelette and yogurt for breakfast; it was excellentI think all the rooms have a view of the courtyard Ensure you get a room with a balcony it was nice to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air

Property is a bit hard to find at first It’s behind another building off the street Outside parking is limited

Spacious parking in the underground garage Honestly for the bay area, the secure underground parking is probably the best idea Rooms are clean Property is clean Plenty of hot water Comfortable beds Staff is friendly and extremely helpful The gas grill by the fireplace is a great bonus The outdoor gas fireplace is nice too The fitness center is good for a hotel fitness center Would stay here again

A group of about 14 of us stayed here on a work trip for pretty much a month From the first day we checked in almost almost everyone in the group was unhappy Rooms not ready, as soon as you walked in the rooms they had a pungent smell, molded shower curtains (housekeeping never changes), no soap & toilet paper

The first day we checked in I felt sorry for the front desk receptionist at first since some of the group mistook her for the first lady that was at the desk when we first arrived but it was a different lady Everyone was complaining I gave them a fair chance till I had to beg for over a week for my room to be cleaned When housekeeping finally cleaned my room they did not put toilet paper or cheated the tub When I first arrived in this room the shower curtain was full of mold and still she refused to change it After calling front desk several times someone finally changed it Came back to my room the shower curtain package and trash was left all over my room Besides all of the above one room key opens EVERY ROOM!!!! Two members of my team had someone walked in each of their rooms!!! This place is not safe! I was so happy after we moved to another hotelThis is not even why I’m leaving the review The reason why I am leaving this review and I will be leaving a review for this hotel on every site I can and I’ll make sure my team do too! I had a package delivered there and I have yet to receive it I’ve been calling for weeks Spoke to both Edgar and Jessica several times with each saying they will get back to me and no one has Every time I call there is no manager or someone will reach out to me I know the package was delivered since they called me the day it was delivered Now I’m calling every week and no one can get back to me and let me know where my package is This package has my medication along with some other items! It’s been weeks and NO one has gotten back to me Last person I spoke with was Edgar couple days ago and today and he said to me he don’t know when the manager will contact me or if they will So I asked for the email Stay away from this hotel if you want to be safe, not get sick from mold or want your packages!!!

The staff were amazing! And the Hotel was nice too I was sent here after I booked somewhere else and they canceled my reservation The original hotel made a huge mess of my plans and my day, and Fernando at the Residence Inn made it all better

He worked hard to make someone elses screw up into a better day for me The hotel was clean and quiet Everything we needed in the kitchen

Excited to stay Nobu Hotel in Palo AltoNice ambiance and unusual rest room with toto vide The lighting system was so modern

However, the service was not great Room cleaning had to be requested at 3 pm after though staff had come earlier but only refilled the mini barThe picture is Japanese Breakfast Bento which looks good and tastes good

We were excited to stay at Nobu as we understood, from their marketing, that it was exceptionally cool, exclusive, and boutique We looked on their site for a nice room and found that the Zen Suite (about $1,200) was available for the night we wanted to stay, which happened to be that same night When we landed we checked again to see if it was available and it was, but since we were only a few minutes away we decided to go right to the hotel and check in rather than reserving online

The two young gentlemen at the front desk (early twenties and very inexperienced, but doing their best) laughed when we asked about the suite and said they were all booked and that Expedia was likely having problems We said we saw it was available, not on Expedia, but on the Nobu Palo Alto site and we pulled it up in front of them Anyway, don’t trust their site for booking, you’d have to call to be certain before putting in your card info to make sure you aren’t booking a room that doesn’t exist inside the cancellation time Then it just got stupid they only had rooms with two queen beds (which by the way they are not queen beds – they are doubles which are really small) Since we were already there and tired we decided to take the two queen room Got to our room and a large panel fell off the wall when my wife opened the safe The paneling isn’t aligned and opening the safe cabinet door was enough to dislodged a 3 by 4 foot heavy panel from the wall which then fell on her We switched rooms The next room had a lovely thick black hair in the sink, maybe a dark sushi noodle, not sure It was end of day so we decided whatever we came up against we would stay The beds are not queen beds, but I mentioned that already Rooms are small TV is enormous and really great, but very limited channels but still – it’s a great TV Shower was ok but no hand held and they have a “Japanese” style wood floor in the shower which serves only an aesthetic purpose, and maybe to hide hair underneath, but damn it hurts the feet Bathroom is very tiny The toilet was unbelievably great and the showcase of the room, along with the TV The toilet is fully automated with remote control, heated seat, squirty things etc Basically you are renting a toilet and TV with some surrounding furniture No electrical outlets next to beds – just USB ports which is fine but not if you have new iPhone etc Carpets are stained, mostly because of the color selection we think which shows an archaeological history of prior guest shenanigans There is only one elevator which gets tedious The common areas of the hotel are sort of finished but not really There is an odd second floor patio that is 8 feet wide with some furniture facing a wall Nobody was out there There are surely other spots to stay that would be a better value and still very nice We couldn’t help but think Nobu is more of a marketing and food services company than a hotel company We give three stars which we think is fair for a three star hotel

T W

The highest level of service ever received! The hotel is simple and refined The best concierge I have ever interacted with! From toiletries to arranging sightseeing/recommendations (everyone from valet) {so personable!}Excellent hotel for business and pleasure 5-star hotel without a stuffy Four Seasons/Ritz approach

Room service is top notch Front desk was super responsive when I needed more shampoo/conditioner/Nespresso podsWe stayed in a Ryokan room which I can not emphasize just how incredible and serene the room feels We were granted early checkin as soon as we landed from SFO at 11amI booked this not expecting much, but the small touches and personalized attention is what sets Nobu apart from anyone elseThe 82 inch tv is magical as is the heated toilet seat, you’re welcome!

I booked the largest room at Bloomington,Mn best western plus for granddaughter kindergarten graduation celebration and the AC didn’t workit was 83 degrees in the room and I had a newborn baby We had to prop the door open just to get air

I S/w front desk Was advised we could check out or take 50% discount but another guess was accommodated with executive suite poolside Guess my skin was too dark to get that accommodation I have been coming her every year for 12 years and have never experienced such treatment My kids love this hotel but you’ll never get another penny of my hard earned “Black “ dollars

Jill Whitaker

I would give a zero star to the best Western historical Inn, st augustine, fl If possible We booked 2 rooms 3 months in advance specifically requesting GROUND FLOOR and beside each other and were told that would not be a problem

We specifically chose this hotel because they had ground floor rooms (We also confirmed our reservation 3 days prior to our trip) Neither one of those requests were met and one of the rooms is literally in a hole next to the ice machine To say the least I am LIVID!! END STORY, Don’t expect to get what you reserve Terrible customer service

They work hard to keep their place clean and presentable I loved the remodeled walk-in shower! The breakfast was tasty, hot and plentiful All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful

I booked for one night and ended up staying for four nights The room was very spacious It was better quality than other hotels that I have stayed at in this price range The location is convenient for Palo Alto, Stanford, Redwood City and other nearby areas I would stay here again

Andrew Avila

Staff is awesome, big shout out to the breakfast attendant- courteous and quick with the refills! The Front Desk person who checked us in was super helpful and attentive Requests, like extra coffee, was prompt! I mean hang up the phone it’s there prompt There’s a few things nearby- coffee, mini-mart, etc

not too far from the highway I had a King room with a couch, a powerful mini-fridge, and damn good AC Walls are a little thinHotel is not at fault for the following:Being on a major street, some times people rev their cars or race down the street not enough to complain about, but enough to notice when it happensThe hotel is on a social class border- sounds a little elitist, but essentially the neighborhood in one direction is well-off and wealthy, in the other direction it has businesses that are tailored to lower income and underprivileged peoples

Booking at the Creekside Inn was the most delightful surprise I travel to Palo Alto monthly and usually stay at a Hilton or Marriott property but because nearly everything was booked for the week I was there last, I took a chance on this place It’s a dream

The setting and environment is so understated from the road The rooms are clean and up to date and the balconies are a really nice touch It’s in a very natural setting Housekeeping was prompt and the area restaurants and cafes are everywhere It’s the closest I’ve stayed to my work destination and the Creekside Inn will continue to be my choice on future visits I wish they had a loyalty program!

Waldo, the boy at the front desk, was extremely rude He tried to scam me out of $400 when I originally paid $120 He acts like this is the fanciest hotel ever… it’s not

When i refused to pay the hefty price tag, he also refused to let me have a refund so I could go to another hotel He claimed to have called his manager, but said I wasn’t aloud to talk to her? It was just all really strange and something I’ve never experienced at a hotelI did really like the rooms, super clean and big I would have liked my room more if I hadn’t been standing outside for 4 hours arguing with Waldo Seriously guys, I would skip this hotel They scammed me out of 250 dollars

We love the pool and the location of this hotel The staff are all super friendly and professional Check in is fast and efficient and the managers are present and helpful

Our room was very clean and the a/c works great which is a big thing for us This hotel is older but it is still the best place to stay You can walk to Stanford Mall and the shops at Town & Country as well as downtown Palo Alto We look forward to our next visit

The location can’t be beat, and I’ve got 20 years of positive memories from this hotel The pool is nice and my kids love it (although it’s a bit chilly and I really wish there was a hot tub) The staff is good and the ground are nice- so get a garden view room if possible

The rooms are basic, serviceable But the walls are paper thin So if you have a noisy neighbor you are screwed But I’ll take my chances and will keep coming back

Gordon Burgess

Have kids and want to hear more of them? Enjoy the euphonious roar of an ice machine? This is the place for you! With walls carefully engineered to be as thin as permitted by law and a layout designed to amplify 60-year-old Karen’s shrieking while she pounds tequila poolside at 2am, this is truly the ultimate experience No need to get an adjoining room for Uncle Steve, it won’t save you from his snoring and you won’t be sleeping either wayPros: The location was great, the staff were efficient and friendly, and the room was clean

Check-in/check-out was smoothCons: Noise 🗣️🛏️ Guests were yelling in the pool area until 1-2am for the three nights I was there which could clearly be heard through closed doors, and no staff enforced any kind of quiet hours Other noise from guests in the hallway weren’t stopped by the thin walls and made the whole experience pretty terrible One morning I was woken up at 6am by an employee dragging pool chairs on the concreteI only ended up getting a few hours of sleep a night and it impacted the business trip I was on I would not recommend this experience to others The shouting of guests stays with me in my dreams but I’m lucky to already have tinnitus to drown it out

Stayed here a week ago! The hotel has great facilities like a swimming pool and a well stocked gym Staff are friendly and inviting! Room service is very quick and anything we requested through the app was brought hastily The food is really good as you’d expect from the Four Seasons

Room was nice and spacious and the beds were great! The sound proofing is amazing; we’re very light sleepers and we did not hear any noise at all An overall great stay!

Emily Williams

I’ve traveled to the Bay Area for work dozens of times, and this was my first time staying at the Four Seasons It definitely won’t be my last!I absolutely loved everything about my stay The bed was heavenly (planning to buy the linens for my own home!), the room was spacious and bright, and the room service was outstanding

I worked late every evening so ended up eating in my room way more often than anticipated and couldn’t have been more pleased Huge kudos to the housekeeping staff for a lovely stay Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent hotel as you’d expect Rate was actually very good through corporate travel site so this was my first time visiting – normally very costly compared to other properties in the area On site restaurant is very good, staff is attentive and the room was excellent

Fitness center was easy to use and had enough equipment for everyone between 8a and 9a on a Tues and Thurs morning Parking is valet or self-park (no fees but get an overnight parking pass from the valet to put on your dash) Would stay again and again as long as the price stays right

I really like this place especially for work travel Work space in the room, with a desk you can move around easily, large window, full kitchen that’s updated, clean, kind staff, free breakfast in the morning, target and coffee close, light toiletries in the lobby, etc Everything is just perfect for a simple work trip with all the stuff you need including a choice of upgraded wifi for video conferencing

I’ll be back

Yiming Yang

Beware the room service! I’ve lost my fountain pen (of value over $400) after one day’s room service; also, during that day’s room service, no new towel was left (I had to go to front desk to get them), a used sponge mat was left in my shower room, and the faucets were cleaned so carelessly that they were nearly damaged I reached out to their manager about my loss, and that was helplessThis is the first time that I have something lost while living in a hotel

So I have to give a one-star because I think the safety is the most important to me, even if they do other things nicely My suggestion is: always put the no-disturb tag on your door, or carry your valuable belongings with you if you are not present during the room serviceThe room was nice at first glance But if you live there for more than 3 days, you’ll gradually find negative things: the cooking pots were in poor condition, no spatula, no kettle, some outlets didn’t work, the bathroom door had issue opening, etcOn the other hand, the courtesy breakfast was good, the printer service was nice, and this hotel is pet-friendly

I have stayed at this Hilton location as well as others and for the most part my stays have been comfortable On this trip my room was comfortable but there was a noise problem There was banging and stopping about above me as well as loud person (and TV) adjacent to me

I will have to ask for a quiet area of the hotel if there is a next time staying there Something else of mention, I have stayed at other Hilton Garden locations that offer a free morning buffet but this one is not one of them so if you are looking for that offering you will be disappointed They do have complimentary coffee though I usually opt for Starbucks up the street

1 There was a gold fish snack piece in the corner of the sofa Gross

2 Requested for room cleaning, was told can only do 1 day after It still wasn’t done 1 day after Requested again and it was done 1 day before leaving (1 week stay)3 I have gold status but I don’t see any benefits There’s food and beverage credits of $10/day Used that on water They offer free water upon day 1 check in but not afterwards Water 500ml is $3/bottle and bigger is $4/bottle I drink a lot Have to buy water from outside4 Breakfast has different options Not free The bakeries stay the same everyday I didn’t like them personallyMost staffs are friendly There’s a small gym as well It has everything needed No walk-in distance to less than $$$ restaurants nor groceries stores Location with a car is very good, not walk-friendlyYe, Contact directly without leaving a contact method Interesting

We stayed here while receiving medical treatment at Stanford Hospital The owner and cleaning staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs The rooms have been completely remodeled

Even though the hotel is right off a major road, the rooms are quiet at night and we didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms There is a lovely patio with outdoor furniture and water features where we spent a lot of time The landscaping is beautiful There are restaurants, Walgreen’s and shopping center within walking distance We enjoyed our stay and have already booked to return

Viki Lowrey

This classic motel has been remodeled with all the modern-day amenities that one could ask for I booked the last room the afternoon of our stay for four nights and was first impressed by the reasonable pricing for the area Upon arrival the young man in the office was warm, caring, professional, and welcoming too

The room was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean You have all the convivences of a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and supplies including free snacks They also offer more free snacks in the office for the taking They even give you a razor and a toothbrush They have covered gazebo type outside seating surround by a beautiful garden and two soothing fountains What a wonderful place to unwind after a long day We were greeted by the owner who took the time to speak with us and even had a bottle of wine brought out for us Above and beyond does not begin to sing the praises of the experience we had during our stay It is home away from home without the hassles of everyday demands Stay here and you to will be glad you did

Amazing stay here at the Palo Alto Inn The manager is very kind, friendly, and welcoming We felt right at home here for our dead show vacation

Quiet, right off the 101fwy, and great rooms The check in process was extremely easy The room was well cleaned, and well kept

Little scratches here and there, but overall well kept Room came with full kitchen, stove, cooking utensils, cups, mugs, pans, full size fridge, microwave, and dishwasher Small living room but comfy, king size bed and 2 TV The only reason gave it a 4 is, according to front office staff (who I suspect were the owners) the don’t control the AC system in there own hotel So my room was in high 80’s I called the front end so they can tell me how to lower the temp, and the answer I got was sorry we don’t know and have no control over the AC Which i found hard to believe

It is not as beautiful as they have portrayed in the picture There are some pros But the cons are many more and most people won’t let them go while considering an expensive stay

Cons:The staff is quite unresponsive I felt like they do not even care This could be personal though, but they have not delivered toiletries even though I requested them this morning The rooms are not quite clean Some kind of sticky thing on tables Looks are frozen puke! The bathroom door doesn’t lock Breakfast is very poor They just have some eggs, juice, bagels, 1 type of fruit, coffee, and some juice I was expecting more variety of fruits and yogurt and everything No elevator The furniture is very old and looks cheapPros:The bedroom was nice and comfyI would have given half star if available

Ashley Marie

Wonderful local hotel with all the comforts of a well kept home Ruby and DJ at the front desk were both very helpful and always attentive to whatever questions I had or help I needed The Hyatt Homes come with a basketball court, swimming pool, bbq area next to a fire pit all surrounded by a lovely pond with walking trails

The full breakfast included with your stay was full of a variety of foods and snacks to eat there or take with you for exploring the area

Spent an afternoon poolside and it was lovely! There are plenty of options for shade and everything was clean and well kept The true star of the show was the service we received from the poolside dining staff Our drinks were never empty, the food was fresh and thoughtful and we were able to relax our way into the weekend

It was truly a pleasure Great atmosphere and even better service!

I went to a corporate event on the lawn I’ve been to cocktails in the restaurant but I must say corporate event on the lawn exceeds cocktails in the restaurant The food was delicious

I think there was a chicken and a butternut squash offered for the main There was salad and beef tartar for the appetizer The food was delicious and I only wish I had had more

Ashley Jung

Such a warm welcoming pool reception to kick off their new summer menu Jacqueline and her team really went beyond expectations with their service Amazing featured cocktail as well as their delicious food that was being passed around with smiles on each staff member’s face

Rosewood Sand Hill has emphasized their amazing ambiance, spectacular views and their stellar customer service I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for another home away from home

Service and views! Justin’s service is exceptional and made sure my stay here was outstanding They went about and beyond the norm of a hotel Accommodated me for anything i need and got me a beautiful bay view

He and his staff are on point5 nights total and my stay was very comfortable and i can’t wait to make another trip and bring my family with me Hope to see you all soon! And with an amazing bar and food in the lobby! Thanks for a warm welcome

Really poor hotel, staff and amenities The staff are uninterested in main They do not want to provide a good customer service experience

The bar is often unmanned, the breakfast cafe was sometimes unstaffed and closed The bar menu is limited at best The rooms are not clean We had blood on the floor of the room and the concierge staff were somewhat surprised we asked for the room to be cleaned In the end they just put some towels outside the door Guests also bring their own bags in on trolleys in a 9 floor hotel The parking is charged to guests at $30 per day without any discount or free access to paying guests A terrible experience all round and would avoid at all costs if you are staying in Redwood City

Kathleen McCabe

On the plus side the staff are outstanding, friendly, try really hardOn the needs improvement side: property was once branded as a SofitelThat was clearly some time and some age of the premises and upkeep ago

Recently rebranded from another name to Grand Bay, the temporary signage they’ve slapped on the building looks so sketchyDespite its outstanding location in great proximity to a number of large businesses in the area, the building is very tired, in need of upgrades, very limited food services, no real amenities or services on site No laundry In the rooms themselves, definitely tired and in need of renovation Defects in the bathroom walls have been painted over repeatedly Cleaning is just so so Hairs in the bathtub which clearly were not mine No robes, no laundry service, and if your luggage is lost like mine was there’s very little that they can offer you to helpRoom service staff are extremely pleasant and responsive but the menu is very limited and the prices are out of step with the quality of the food All food comes with plastic utensils and plastic containers and delivered in plastic bags so it’s never hot by the time it gets to your room and just feels like cheap takeout At very inflated prices Food services hours are very limited Bar shuts at 10 You can’t get anything to eat all afternoon not even room service Room service ends early Not 24 hours Makes it challenging for the visitors who are coming to this area from all over North America and internationallyThe building itself has good bones and the location is fantastic right on the water with a great outdoor patio But a significant lift and investment in refurbishing the physical premises and an improving food and beverage hours and quality and adding the amenities that business travellers expect would raise the status of this property But for now it does not justify the price as it chargesAlthough this is the most convenient location when I come to the area, I won’t be staying here again unless there’s a significant refresh

A little slice of heaven that I do NOT want to leave! I wish I could give it ten stars! The staff is so welcoming and everyone remembers your name, the food is scrumptious and plentiful (and MANY gluten free and vegetarian options as well as meat), there are so many classes to choose from, like yoga, classes, massage, hikes, fitness, etc, and the land is beyond breathtakingSo many redwood trees, hiking trails and so many places you can sit down and relax, read a book, journal by the hearth fire The energy in this place is welcoming and kind and if you want to just sit by yourself you can or if you want to socialize you can

Everyone is so respectful and courteous (and genuinely so)Such an amazing experience that I will not forget soon I will be back!

Canyon Ranch Woodside is a gracious gem of a retreat center nestled in the redwood forest on Skyline Blvd I immediately begin to calm as I drive through the gate and enter this serene property The trails, nooks with thoughtful, quiet seating, and buildings all nurture an intertwined engagement with the natural world that is gentle and renewing

Even more, the staff are a group of the most gracious, welcoming, and kind professionals – every one of them takes a keen interest in guests’ well-being and needs while evidencing a camradarie as a team that speaks to their care for their work and the space If you have a chance, go Gift yourself the time to rest, restore, and be nurtured at Woodside It’s amazing
