Amazing service all around I stayed for three nights under a pseudonym, writing as a freelancer about some local issues that seem to be occurring across the nation The rooms were fabulous

I switched rooms on purpose, because I am writing for a different publication about hotels The room service, the concierge and all the amenities were astonishingly phenomenal The rates are very fair, considering what you’re getting In this day and age of “the virus,” I felt very safe at the Sheraton The staff were respectful, mindful and very thorough Whenever I left the hotel and asked for new towels and the room to be clean, it was usually done within a couple of hours There are plenty of amazing restaurants in the area, within walking distance As a hotel reviewer, I did the typical things, such as asking for a hygiene kit, a lightbulb to be switched out and other things of that nature Never did I have to wait more than 30 minutes for anything to get done or completed to my full satisfaction If I had a chance, I would gift this hotel at 10 star review⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an old fashioned hotel but I don’t have any problem with that When I stay at a hotel the most important is that they are clean and the attention from the staff to the guestsEverything was good but they don’t have enough staff working at the hotel what do represent some inconveniences like when you arrive to the restaurant and you wait for more than 5 minutes for someone to take your order or offer you a drink and also that your food will take longer than what you expected when you are starving

to ask to the front desk for some help to bring you please a car for your luggage because the hotel has a large hall to take all your stuff from your room to the lobby and they don’t have anyone to do soThat’s what I decided to give just 3 starts

Steffany Turley

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here All of the staff was amazing, especially Cedric he made the check in process a breeze, he was personable and made sure we had the best experience The only complaint I have are the bed sheets, they are papery feeling and not cozy at all

Other than that everything was fantastic Will stay here again

For and foremost, the staff all seemed to really enjoy their jobs and environment they worked in The night staff checking us in at 10:30pm were probably the nicest we’ve encountered and the people in the morning at the desk and breakfast staff were friendly and accommodating I could rave about the continental breakfast! They had so many options and everything was delicious

They even had plenty of dietary options for Gluten Friendly and Almond Milk for lactose intolerance The rooms were classy, clean and comfortable All around a great experience, especially since we booked it the same day with the best price around

Elise Cuentas

Overall it was fine Pros: beds were comfortable and clean, pool was warm, and breakfast was good with a variety of food to choose fromCons: we had a room that had a jetted bath tub and the jets were covered in mildew

The microwave was dirty and there was something sticky on the wall Also, I’m not sure what chemicals they use in the pool (I asked a front desk lady and she said she didn’t know) but they were strong enough to bleach our swimsuits

John Avoloch

My only reason for not giving 5 Stars is that there is no microwave in the rooms Only a central one by the front desk, which is pretty inconvenient when you’re on the 3rd floor For an out the door price of $140-160 per night

I just think we could have a microwave in our rooms Ohone more thing The bathtubs are very nice with sloped backs for relaxing BUTbe damned careful if getting in for a shower OMG the bottom of the tub is as slick as oiled glass!!!!! The staff is extremely friendly and my room was very clean and odor free

I didn’t like the hotel, there is no free parking, no breakfast, I had to slam the door so it could close every time The shower was clogged up, the pillows were old because they didn’t keep the shape, the light fixture in the bathroom was rusted, the valance on the curtain was falling, furniture was old, bedding was stain They claimed the pool was heated which was not true

Also they don’t have housekeeping If you are used to someone making your bed, getting you clean towels and taking out your trash, this is not the place You have to put your trash outside of your door and ask for everything else you might need but they didn’t tell us that when we checked in To top it all off they don’t have late check out We paid a lot of money and it was not worth the price in my opinion I paid nearly $1,800 for 2 rooms for 5 nights and they couldn’t accommodate for me to check out 1 hour later in one of the rooms It was just 1 hour Some staff were friendly The only good thing about this hotel is LOCATION !!! There is a few hotels around the same area with more amenities so next time I visit I will look somewhere else to stay I feel robbed for the price I paid

Chayla Teske

Didn’t enjoy that we had to pay for parking

$10 per night per car Must have missed that in the description Hotel is a little run down Receptionist was nice A light breakfast would be nice, muffins or something on the goMake sure to put the do not disturb on your door Even though check out is 11am, room service woke us up walking into our room around 830 Doors have large gaps at the bottom so we could hear everything going on in the hallway Kids running, the ice machine running We woke up a few times because of noise in the hallwayThe only plus about this hotel is the close approximately to city center Temple square is right there, the tram is across the street, City Creek Mall is a block away

Maxwell Krem

Stayed 4 days Check-in was easy, and all the staff were very friendly There is no complementary breakfast

Bathrooms are a little bit small but functional enoughThe exercise/workout room has treadmill (was very fussy), a couple elliptical machines, and a set of free weights: workout options are a bit limited The room and bathroom were cleaned well enough, however On the positive side, I thought the staff were very responsive, and the hotel is very close to the light rail and the convention center

When we arrived, our door was open Thought it was strange, but We ignored it and continued on with our stay, at about 10 pm the room above us was running back and forth, slamming doors, jumping around, I finally called the front desk at 3am after me, my son and husband couldn’t take it anymore, the front desk walked up to the noisy room, I assume talked to them, but the sounds continued ALL night long until morning It sounded like a herd of elephants ALL NIGHT LONG

We are going through our day today with Zero sleep, as we have to drive out of state today We also had room service barge into our room 4-5 times I’ve had enough, We will never stay here ever again I understand it’s not the front desks fault for the sounds upstairs, but no one offered us ANYTHING for the inconveniences Highly recommend never staying at that hotel One of our worst experiences ever

Andrew

My girlfriend and I had been traveling and staying at Residence Inn and Towneplace Suites hotels for about a month when we stayed here This was overall one of the nicest Towneplaces that we’d been to, aside from the smells of raw sewage and cigarette smoke, and the terrible managementThis hotel gets a 1 star rating for holding up our check-in process without reason, and for non-communicative practices by their upper management, and even the property owners

*Warning: If sleep is a sensitive topic for you, skip the rest of this reviewCheck-in identity “verification”: We showed up here at about noon, coming from another Towneplace Suites on the other side of SLC I hadn’t slept in about 36 hours, and didn’t want to talk to anyone I wanted to check in and go to bedSo, I checked in via mobile check-in They didn’t issue a mobile key So, my girlfriend went in to the front desk with her ID, our confirmation number, and the payment card on file (which was her own debit card)The front desk declined to check us in, and said I needed to go in, or that I needed to call and add her to the reservation so that she could check in I used the Marriott app to chat with the front desk, and told them to add her to the reservation, and sent her back in with my physical photo IDThey proceeded to ask me some “security” questions via live chat, to “verify” my identity I would’ve been fine with this, if they had actually verified my identity, but they didn’t verify anything – they just wasted our time Every single question that they asked me could be answered with information displayed to me while using the app No 2FA codes, no password entries, no biometric scans Just switching tabs in the app The only thing they verified is what they already knew: someone (me, in this case) was logged into my Marriott account, and was using the Marriott Bonvoy app – the only way to live chat with the front desk at one of these hotelsThis held up the check-in process of 2 tired guests for about 30 minutes Keep in mind, we’re not new Marriott guests We’ve stayed 30 of the last 30 nights (more than that, really) in Marriott hotels, and this one-night stay was actually the one that bumped us up to Platinum Elite status The front desk could see our loyalty status, and still hassled usMy girlfriend providing the physical payment card on file that was used to make the reservation (her own card), plus her ID, was more than enough to “verify” usGet your processes in order, and don’t put on petty shows pretending to understand security, at the expense of your guests’ timeOn top of that, the room we were assigned to reeked of cigarette smoke Someone had smoked in the room, but the hotel didn’t restore it I asked for our night to be refunded at checkout, and I was assured it would be taken care of One month and 10+ contacts later, it still wasn’t taken care ofWhen I called the hotel for the general manager’s email address, the guy at the desk kept saying the phone was breaking up and he couldn’t hear me I thought it was me, but he eventually explained that the wire on the phone at the front desk is damaged What’s the front desk doing with a broken phone, in a building with 200+ corded phones? The email address I was given didn’t even workI contacted the business who owns this hotel (Western States Land Management & Development), directly, several times, and they completely ignored me Unfortunately, the only way to get this resolved was to report the conduct of this hotel’s management to Marriott’s corporate office If anyone else has a communication issue with this hotel’s management, I’d advise them to do the same This place ultimately should have their Marriott franchise license revoked for non-communicationI would not recommend this hotel

Nicolette Donavan

I had high expectations as we had stayed in other Marriott hotels and have always been impressed by how clean the rooms were, which is why we chose to stay in this hotel We got a room that was not clean at all and it was clear housekeeping had not gone through the room to clean after the last person This really made us very uncomfortable considering we travelled a long way, and their regulations during COVID are that their rooms are clean and vacant for 24 hours prior to the next person staying in that room

When we complained, they gave us another room thankfully, but even the new room didn’t feel as clean as it should have been and there was no way to be sure that they are following those regulations they were supposed to

This hotel was amazing! As a snowboarder, it felt like it was made for me with the in-room snowboard/ski racks The rooms are modern and very clean The staff was very friendly and welcoming

The rooftop patio is very comfortable and the building itself has a really unique feel to it It is a work in progress, but it was an amazing place as is The snowboard/ski shops, the skate park, and the art gallery all under the same roof was amazingly convenient I can’t wait to come back when it’s completely finished!

This is an amazing space and concept Stitching together one of the best retailers in the outdoor space with a rad hotel and many yet to come experiences (skate park, climbing gym, bar, restaurant and more) within this breathtakingly renovated old building is an experience like no other While there were still a few kinks to work out, we stayed during their soft launch, you totally get where this is headed

Beds were comfy Rooms are cozy Art throughout the space is terrific My daughter really enjoyed the skate park and can’t wait to comeback and use the climbing gym

Jeremy Matherly

I really enjoyed my stay at evo Hotel in February The location is very convenient It took me only10 minutes to get to evo Hotel from the airport and when I went snowboarding at Woodward Park City it was a mellow 25 minute commute

Be sure to check out Ruby Snap cookies that is only 2 blocks away (with Roots Coffee shop directly next door) or take a 5 minute stroll north to Rose Establishment for a delicious breakfast The evo Hotel building is beautiful and features really cool artwork throughout There are large murals in the common areas and each hotel room features a different artist There is even a QR code on the door to each room that directs you to information about the featured artist The hotel shares space with outdoor equipment shops (evo), a skatepark and a climbing gym There are 2 outdoor patio areas with fire pits and a great view of the mountains During my week long stay the site was still not 100% open I was told that coming soon there will be an in-house bar, restaurant and coffee bar on site The staff were very friendly and fun to chat with My room was clean (basically brand new) and cozy with a private patio and view of the city and mountains I’ll definitely be coming back

Room was very clean, I love the absence of carpet! Bathroom is of a good size, and given that it is in Downtown, room size is adequate Beds were comfortable, but not amazingBig problem was the AC, which just didn’t get to temperature all night

Our entire family was uncomfortable all night I did love that the window could be opened, but it was too warm outside for that to be helpful to usService was friendly and helpfulHotel is suffering from a seizure when it comes to cosmetic updates Part traditional, part farmhouse?! It didn’t work at all Doors and paneling the hotel are not in great shape

A beautiful, clean, great location hotel I was in Salt Lake for a conference and this Marriott is a quick walk to the Salt Palace, lots of restaurants and shoppingMy room was big and spacious, exceptionally clean and well cared for by friendly staff

Great big bathroom with full size shampoo/conditioner/body washRoom service breakfast is a bit pricey but still tasty, and the restaurant downstairs has a great menu and friendly staffAbsolutely would stay here again Thank you to the staff!

Michael Mayo

Excellent location and staff! The highlight of my four night stay was the room service received from Juan He went above and beyond to showcase the meals, had an excellent attitude, and made it an experience I won’t soon forget Having worked in the hospitality industry, he stuck out as someone that genuinely cares about his guests, his craft, and the place he works for

Looking forward to my next stay here!

My Dad was air flighted to the U of U Hospital after falling from his horse My cousin and I are both Marriott members He set up the rooms and paid for them

It has a really nice rooms and outside area was stunning The hotel was great to work with us and provided a medical rate It was perfect location and we were very close to the hospital However, when I checked out they insisted that the rooms weren’t paid for, so I paid it when checking out Then, when my cousin and I talked, we discovered that were double charged, and it took almost a full month to figure it out

jax Yo

Very disappointed First of all, if you’re looking forward to hot showers during your stay at this place, forget about it! There’s no hot water coming out of the shower heads Just a tiny bit warm, enough to wash up quickly and get out

Secondly, no microwaves in the rooms Nor do they have a coffee maker (Starbucks in the lobby though) There’s one microwave by the front desk, so had to go down four floors to heat my leftovers And wait for others to heat up theirs Paid over $300 a night for this Marriott location that is equivalent to any other less expensive 2-25 star hotelDid notice alot of group meetings, conventions, catering So maybe they’re great group hosts 🤔

Jerry Hughes

I Made reservations five weeks in advance for TWO rooms When I originally called I was told we would get adjourning rooms Guess what we got, ONE room on the fifth floor and the SECOND room on the seventh floor

We were told at check in that’s all that was available BS, the parking lot was NOT even ½ full Besides poor room location, the A/C wasn’t the greatest because the direction blades were broken and you could not adjust the airflow direction Room was small and no microwave I have had a better room at a Motel 6 In nearly 60 years of travel from Pacific Coast to the Atlantic Coast and many places in between have I ever received such poor service NO, WE WILL NEVER STAY AT ANY MARRIOTT or recommend Marriott in the future

I’ve only stayed at this hotel when I traveled to Salt Lake City It’s located right across the street from the convention center and a short walk from a bunch of restaurants The other added bonus is that it is connected to the City Creek Mall

The staff here is extremely friendly and very helpful The rooms themselves are pretty nice The shower looks like it was updated since the last time I was there Amenities are great and you also get a mini fridge in your room The wait for elevators isn’t too bad, even when it seems like the hotel is that capacity They have pretty good size tables in a lobby so you can eat a meal down there if you would likeThey also have Starbucks on site, with mobile ordering so it’s great to just order your coffee and take an elevator ride down to pick it upOverall a great hotel that is located pretty centrally from everything!

Tyler Southard

This hotel is in a perfect location Once you arrive, you have two options for parking on the premises: valet or the parking garage I chose the parking garage and it was $20 for 24 hours

The check in process was very prompt and I was in my room with the city view in no time The room is a bit tight, but once you get settled in you will be comfortable The beds were very comfortable along with a wonderful set of pillows The bathroom was also a bit cramped Everything in the room was spotless! Overall, the stay was very pleasant

Max Alexander

Bottom line: Platinum, Titanium, Ambassador Members beware if you have long standard amenity expectations The lounge remains closed, no real reason for that, at this point except they are being cheap Also hotel management has just recently removed hot breakfast as a standard amenity, I hope you like a bowl of cold cereal or other starches you can have that for free with your “Continental Breakfast”

If you want a single slice of bacon or basically anything hot, it is an extra $7 per person None of the staff I spoke with support the policy and I would say the staff were absolutely great The room was clean, the bed was comfortable , and the view was great Parking is $20 no matter what your status is So, for those of you who care about long standard amenities which you have come to expect, carefully evaluate your choices when booking this hotel in Salt Lake, there are lots of other places just around the block I’ll be back when management gets their stuff together Again the rest of the staff was absolutely great

The swimming pool was super freezing cold even though it’s indoor Keeping those towels stocked for the pool could use improvement as well More than once I’ve stayed here and same issue with pool temp and towel stock

The breakfast served is amazing, its the best I’ve ever had with selection of choice and hot served items However, the flashing light on the 2nd floor by the stairs was flickering on and off like that the last time I stayed there over a month ago Worst thing to say about this stay is that the elevator was out of order and it’s the only elevator in the hotel, it was out of order the whole week stay That was ridiculousness for those whom have multiple luggage or medical limitations to take the stairs I like the large bathroom and the room set up design I appreciate that the staff mind their own business and not pry into everything I’m doing and the guest I have At some places I’ve stayed required my guest to check-in and have limited time frames that I can have guest, so thank you for that privacy courtesy

McKenzie Schaffer

There was mold and broken wall next to shower Towel rack was broken No remote the TV and the replacement remote from the front desk didn’t work

The leather chair arms were ripped and extremely worn The bed was off its frame – shifted to be 6-10 inches off its frame to the left The refrigerator was enclosed in a boxmeaning the unit cant do its job and keep anything cold The heat has to go somewhereThink it’s more than reasonable to fix these things before you charge guests $200+ for a room Especially one with a broken wall with mold growing over the shower!

Daljit Singh

I stayed here a few nights ago The hotel was very nice, room was super clean everything is up to date The lobby is very clean as well

The clerk who checked us in her name was Bansari she was very professional, very outgoing and definitely good at her job She is the best asset this hotel has We will definitely stay againJust one thing we did not like the chairs in the breakfast are very low

I was traveling with my nieces from Ukraine to US We were extremely tired and stressed out Our next flight was next morning

As soon as we stepped inside of the hotel, we were taking care of right away The staff was very nice and professional The room was clean , specious and bed comfortable We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and were picked up by shuttle This hotel is very close to the airport, so the ride was maybe 10-15 min onlySpecial thanks to : Easter, Etta and Christina !!! Ladies, because of your hard work and kindness – we enjoyed our stay very much Big thanks to driver of a shuttle Ed Coleman ! What an amazing person he is! We appreciate you ! 🤗

We stayed here because of all the great reviews and we were definitely disappointed We planned 3 nights for our small family trip but only stayed 2 This hotel is run down, it looks like the double tree tried to “renovate it” but they only added new furniture and paint

The back of the door in the bathroom in room 135 looked like an animal got to it and they just painted over itThe blanket didn’t have a cover… it was a duvet insert without a cover Rooms don’t automatically get room service (I have NEVER experienced this before at any hotel) You have to request it before 9 am We requested 2 times and one time room service just didn’t come, when they did come they were not thorough at all…The pool was run down, paint was bubbling off of the ceiling The hot tub was long gone The grout at the pool was black in some spots and there was weird indoor balconies looking down at the pool In addition, I paid for breakfast at our booking and we had to argue with the lady at the front desk who insisted we have to pay for it again… Ultimately we got our breakfast that we paid for but even that was not worth itUnfortunately we cut our trip a day early because we didn’t want to stay here anymoreWe will not ever be back at a double tree

Maggie McMichael

I stayed here after a flight cancellation and was only actually staying for a few hours before my early, rebooked flight The staff that checked me in was the staff that checked me out They honestly made the experience so wonderful

They remembered my name during the two interactions we had after check in, were patient with my frazzled vibe, and made sure I had water and toiletries for the time I was there Things were clean, the bed was comfy, but above all I felt welcome and cared for

very clean rooms with a full size refrigerator and freezer a full 12 cup coffee pot with coffee provided and paper cups i didn’t look in any of the cupboards because we didn’t cook in the room there may have been porcelain coffee cups as well along with plates and silverware but I am unsure we only stayed one night and was our 1st time staying at a myplace

Bed was comfortable everything was new and clean we definitely would stay again

The hotel and room it’s self aren’t bad, it’s just sketchy They have an extra $100 deposit fee at check-in which I didn’t see posted anywhere but right on the front desk Cool, we paid that and stayed there for 3 nights

The last night we came back to the hotel a little late and after making it all the way up to our floor and room, the keys wouldn’t work We went back to the front desk and they acted like they didn’t know we were in that room still and we had to argue with them for the keys to be reprogrammed since they had shut them off All of our stuff still in the room, and they were trying to deny us access to the only beds we have at 1 in the morning Over $400 for our stay (not including the $100 deposit) and I’m in shock because I’ve never even heard of a hotel doing this I planned to come back and use this hotel often, but not after this incident This made me feel really unsafe, and really unsure about being able to leave my items in the room when I leave to do things If they’re going to cut off my access to the room, who may have had access in between?

We booked through a reputable third party service and the staff told us there were no rooms available when we arrived Multiple other people in the lobby who booked through other services were also told their rooms were oversoldWe requested a refund and were told that we need to get one through the third party service

Then we asked if we could get documentation from them stating they didn’t have a room available to provide as evidence in order to get our refund The immediate response to this was “I don’t have anything to give you”When new guests showed up to check in, the front desk person proceeded to tell us to sit down instead of helping us resolve our issue We were repeatedly brushed off when we asked for updates I realize the staff member was dealing with a stressful situation but she was unnecessarily rude I can’t speak to the quality of the hotel itself but the customer service left something to be desired

We loved this place! From start to finish everything was perfect Our young girls (<10) fell in love with the hotel and staff Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we are just a regular family

Decor was beautiful, classic but not ostentatious Room had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and the view over the city towards the mountains as the sun set was incredible We ate at the Laurel – just amazing! They accommodated the kids and our allergies very well The food was excellent, and very reasonably priced Something for each of us – all empty plates and pleasantly full stomachs The girls especially loved the soup, and one really liked the salmon, the other the steak Our server was delightful! We had fun riding the bus and trains around town We took an easy 30 min bus ride to Mount Olympus, and ate at Rawtopia (highly recommend- very healthy organic & allergy friendly food and the kids ate all of it!) Had a nice walk around there tooThe hotel has two pools, so of course we had to try both The weather was a little cold for the first couple of days, so the indoor pool was the winner there Nice and warm, and not too busy On the warmer days the outdoor pool was lovely Plenty of loungers and attentive service The gentle piano or harp music in the lobby bar / restaurant in the evenings was a great way to soothe the girls The hotel was quiet at night so we all slept well Can’t really think of anything negative to say about it We all hope to be back soon; the girls still ask us to send their pictures to both the hotel and restaurant to say thank you!

This hotel was beautiful Chandeliers everywhere, an amazing flower court yard, multiple lounge areas

Simply beautiful You can pay $20 for them to do valet parking They really take care of you at the front This hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, entertainment, and pretty much anything you want to do in Salt Lake city I attended a conference and they put together meals that looked amazing and gourmet The service was outstanding by everyone we met

High-end hotel with massive suite-style bedrooms, most of which have small balconies The bedrooms are decorated in quite a traditional style and look a little worn in places I stayed here for business but don’t think I would be willing to spend my own money as the nightly rate is very high for quite a dated hotel

The pool is a great size and has plenty of loungers The hotel bar also has a large drinks menu and great service Service at breakfast can be a little slow but the food was solid

This bed and breakfast was perfect for my wife and I It felt like home rather than the very generic sterile hotel The home was beautiful and really showed the greatness of a home built almost a hundred years ago

It was very comfortable and quiet The staff was friendly The breakfast was better than any free breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel My wife and I went just to have a small getaway and this location was just what I needed It will be on my list of places to recommend and to return to in the future I suggest the French toast for breakfast, it was amazing

Yes Yes and Yes I stayed here for 4 nights with my boyfriend and I have to say this is so much better than a hotel The service was amazing and the rooms are sparkling clean

The breakfast was the best food we had in Salt Lake (Try the lemon ricotta pancakes and the stuffed waffleso good )Coming back each evening felt like coming home The staff and super friendly and seem like all around good people Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome If we come back to salt lake we will definitely stay here again We highly recommend Inn on the Hill

Kim Dodds

We stayed at Inn On The Hill to celebrate our 20th Anniversary It was so fun to experience the history of the building, and we loved the quiet & peaceful atmosphere, even though it is really close to Downtown Salt Lake City We stayed in the Carriage House, which is a small detached building behind the main Inn

The breakfast in the mornings was delicious and all the staff were great! Probably not the best place to bring small children, but for a couple’s getaway I would definitely recommend it!

This hotel was awesome! The rooms and lobby are spacious, and very clean, the beds are extra comfy But the most pleasant experience of my stay here was my interactions with the*front desk night manager – ( Heather) she went above and beyond to guide, help me with taxi service and offer great recommendations on where to go in the city to make my stay here excellent She was genuinely kind and upbeat

I never write reviews but was compelled to do so today I will be recommending this hotel to my snowboarder friends that come here every year Including myselfThank you Heather!-JR (from Massachusetts)

First time experience at this particular Homewood Suites in Downtown SLC We traveled there for a comedy show at Wiseguys and chose to stay nearby We are Hilton fans so picked this one as it was within walking distance

The hotel was well appointed, clean, rooms were clean and crisp, we were at an end room so no noise, the room had great amenities and perfect for anyone staying for several days, fully stocked kitchen available, separate seating area, desk, TV and dresser, king bed, toilet & shower separate from vanity Breakfast was good, several items to select from depending on your preference Coffee, tea, juice all available Staff professional and personable Highly recommend this place for location, and all that I mentioned above

Amanda Dingman

We booked this particular hotel because it is downtown and we wanted to be able to walk from the hotel instead of getting a cab everywhere with our 1 year old baby There is a homeless shelter on the block next to the hotel and they have taken over the street that walks downtown Two to 3 police cars are there during the day but don’t seem to be there at night

The hotel allows the homeless people to hang out in there entryway and harass you as you walk in They also lock the door to the hotel and so you’re stuck in the entry with them until you get your key to work We saw a fight break out in front of the hotel and another day there was an arrest happening It feels very unsafe and we did not feel safe walking especially at night Hotel is nice but I wouldn’t stay here again I would not recommend if you want to walk from your hotel

Location of hotel was great I chose this hotel based off the lovely looking gardens and since I would have kids with me, I also chose for the pool I prepaid online and upon check in hotel staff requested that I pay

When I said I had paid online already they then cancelled Still paid the additional $40 deposit for incidentals Not the worst thing in the world, but if someone prepays, why is it not noted in their system upon checking in? The room was adequate Room smelled of carpet cleaner Sheets, blanket and pillows were clean I had an adjoining room, unfortunately The person in the other room used his phone on speaker and was yelling into his phone from 3-5AM I also could see light coming into our room from his room through the bottom of the door Walls are extremely thin and you can hear everyone around us Breakfast was not as advertised and was basically any generic continental breakfast so don’t rely on the photos Photos are extremely misleading on their site We checked in at 3pm and while walking to our room we saw garbage in the hallway At 10am the next morning there was still the same garbage outside peoples doors in the hallway Keys for the rooms had to be inserted many times for them to work All in all, for the price I paid, I will not be coming back There are superior hotels in the area within the same price range

Daphne Elizabeth

Come here if you never wanna be able to get into your room We payed for 5 nights here and every single day, the key cards would not work EVERY day we had to go to the front desk and wait a long time for someone to show up and just tell us again that the cards “demagnetized” WHICH HAS NEVER HAPPENED ANYWHERE ELSE

We have had to get new cards 1-2 times per day every single day we stayed One of the nights we had to stay at the front desk for at least 6-7 minutes with NO ONE anywhere to help us Also there’s DEAD BUGS in the curtains The pull out couch is extremely uncomfortable and feels like laying on metal The toilet paper rolls are so close to the side of the toilet that they push on your legs while you sit Anyone who is not extremely skinny has to take the toilet paper off the holder to even sit comfortably on the toilet Also the breakfast selection is pretty small Also the hotel is right in the middle of a weird field area with homeless camps all around it

Christina Becerra

Clean rooms and amenities, friendly staff Just don’t leave any cash or valuables in your room Cash was taken out of my room while I was away

And later, housekeeping attempted to access my room while I was inside and had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door In response, management advised me to notify the police then stopped responding to my emails Very disappointing I would not recommend this location to anyone hoping for peace of mind while away from their room

Love this hotel! The rooms are comfortable and big We brought our baby who is almost 8 months for her first vacation The hotel kindly offered for us to borrow a sound machine to help her sleep and it worked great

They offered a crib too but we brought our pack and play crib The pool is well maintained and wasn’t too cold We brought our baby to try the pool and she loved it! Very nice staff 100% recommend

G&GC Properties

This is a nice hotel not too far of a drive from the airport The nearest grocery store is not to far from the hotel either They offer free breakfast from 6 am to 9 am

The staff are wonderful if there is something you need and they have it on property they will find it for you The room I had was very nice Large room to spread out The room had a fridge and freezer, kitchen sink with garbage disposal, and a dishwasher There is a ironing board and iron The unit also came supplied with eating and cooking utensils and a coffee maker There is a desk to work at and plenty on lights There are 2 televisions and alarm clock and a little dining kitchenette to sit and eat and a living room area and separate bedroom area The bathroomis a good size full bathroom with a walk in shower stocked with body wash and shampoo dispensers There are two closets in the unit I recommend the property if visiting Salt Lake City Also, the property has plenty of free parking around the hotel

Michael Palarchio

I would give this max a 25/5 We had a lot of issues that just can’t be overlooked in totality

I am surprised this hotel is rated over 4 given our experienceGood:Staff was very friendly and helpful The young woman working the front desk was very nice and none of this was her fault Large rooms, nice amenities, nice pool, EV charging a plus The hotel is newBad:Cleanliness needs serious improvement Crumbs and candy around the couch in our room, dirty facecloth left in the shower on the handle, back of the bathroom door had brown stains on it, hairs on bathroom floor Need to do better at thisBreakfast service was terrible There were very limited options compared to many other Hilton’s and I don’t think this is up to their standards by any means They had an omelette, no sandwiches until hours later, no baked goods, toast and bagels The batter was empty for the waffles for about an hour (I went back 3 times) Same goes for the coffee, there was a lineup of people waiting for coffee for over 30 minutes The breakfast service was just overall bad No lids for cups, out of basic cutlery, waffles were not appetizing even when they did come outAlso the coffee station in the evening was old coffee and barely warm water for the tea This is not my experience at any other Hilton propertiesOverall: nice property, good amenities, poorly run managed if this is the best they can do with a new building This place could be 4/5 if these basic things are done correctly

Clean room that smells good, fairly quiet and has good AC that wasn’t loud The only thing I didn’t like was the outlet situation near the bedding and the very sharp metal light fixture right above my head where the headboard is Breakfast is nice and not grab and go like many hotels recently past pandemic

Very nice breakfast area And staff is very friendly Room is very spacious and has a separate seating area from the bed, which makes it feel quite nice

Howard Roth

First night our toilet overflowed They had the security guard give us towels to clean up Asked for a mop and disinfectant, but by 2AM (started at 9:30) they gave us a different 1 bed room (we needed 2 beds)

The people below our room had issues with their bathroom too The night clerk provided very poor service and struggled to do anything The security guard was quite helpful and empathetic The next day we got a 2 bed room and they credited the night from hell, which was expected 4 days later we asked to get our room cleaned, as we needed towels, etc after so many days Came back at night and nothing was done Finally got some towels that evening and they cleaned the room the next day, our 5th day at the hotel Cleaning was done well Rooms are pretty clean The rooms are dated though, old curtains and furniture But clean is always more important to me Everyone that worked at the hotel was very pleasant, which helped us get us through the week

Paul Xiong

The hotel facilities are nice and clean The gym is one of the best with everything including rowing machine! The pullout sofa bed is much worse compared to Hyatt we stayed The mattress on the pullout bed is as thin as paper

Room was noise from left right and top 😂Breakfast is also one of the best The only one has freshly cooked oatmeal and cooked to perfection! (we stayed 3 different hotels in SLC) The chef was super passionate about the customers and food He came out talking to folks every day during our stay

Very clean and welcoming environment including the staff – Cameron was incredibly helpful and friendly Room was surprisingly quiet even with the heavy door closes- we heard nothing from inside the room Well equipped kitchen and roomy living space

We could comfortably stay there for an extended visit I appreciate the refillable products in the shower as opposed to mini sizes that often get tossed after one use We did have a challenge with car charging but Travis, the GM, handled it with empathy and humility He appreciated the opportunity to learn more about electric car needs Overall this was an exceptional hotel stay

Amy Ciske

We walked inside to check in on a sunny day, we were offered water That was just the first minute of a fantastic stay The room was bright, clean and spacious

The front desk staff was genuine, friendly, professional and attentive to not just our needs at check in and check out, but also went the extra mile to create a fantastic stay! The breakfast was scrumptious with more than muffins and bagels Waffles, fresh fruit, coffee, cereal, yogurt and more The management was in sync with the staff, and it was so pleasant The genuine capable front desk staff made our stay remarkable I reccommend highly

Hunter Lawrence

This is such a lovely hotel, great lobby and in a great location We’ve had a few business meetings here lately and the staff is truly amazing The board room is very spacious and makes meetings easy to host

They’re very attentive and offered us waters on hot days, and checked in with us to refill ice, waters, etc AMAZING experience and we truly appreciate them doing everything possible to make our meeting a great success :))
