We absolutely loved all the art throughout the hotel Perhaps they will add more art to the second level

We rented the deluxe king and the room was clean and cozy The bathroom tiles in the shower were a very nice touch The restaurant Metropole, which is with in the hotel, was absolutely delicious We stayed during the week of Christmas, we were able to attend an indoor light show within walking distance of the hotel I would highly recommend this hotel

Honestly, had a rough experience and did get the support from the staff we’d hoped forFirst off, we booked a stay on a date that specifically could accommodate a momma to be massage After several emails confirming our date/stay would work with a spa service

we got a phone call less than an hour before heading up to the massage There was no availability to rebook us before we leftIt’s of course understandable that someone gets sick or calls off but what was very disappointing was the staff did not try to apologize for the mishap and no one acknowledged how incredibly last minute the cancellation happenedI tried talking to the front desk and was absolutely brushed off and my emails were ignored It definitely did not feel the experience I paid forAlso, I am aware this is petty but the front desk told us there was complimentary breakfast from 7-10 We were downstairs by 9 and saw everything gone When I asked the desk they said they wouldn’t be refilling it and the restaurant wouldn’t open until dinnerThe hotel made us feel like we were not guests but quite frankly a burden to everyone working!

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice boutique hotel and potentially the best in downtown Cincinnati, but our most recent stay left much to be desired We booked a corner room for a parents night out and were surprised to find one of the bathroom sinks not functional (luckily there were two) and only 1 set of towels The hotel bar was nice but the drinks were a tad bit on the strong side

The toiletries are high end except for the hand soap that leaves a strange film on your skin Lastly, the bathroom was nice, but by no means luxurious which is what I expect for a $400+ room We may stay here again but mainly due to the lack of other options in such a great location

Hello and no problem My family and I really liked the location of the hotel and the layout of the room and facility Our stay received 3 stars mainly due to the following reasons:1

The door on the first floor leading in/out the north side of the building had an issue with the electronic software to get back in working properly As such, we could not scan ourselves back into the building utilizing our key fobs even though our room was just inside that door Due to that, when we returned to the hotel and parked outside that door we had to walk around to the front of the building to enter the main doors I reported to the front desk the first day but it was not fixed during the days we resided in that room2 On day 2 of our stay, we went to enter our room and after turing the outside handle to open the door the handle popped out of the column and we could not get it back together The front desk tried to help but they were unsuccessful as well As a result, we were moved all the way to the top floor from the first floor so we had to move all of our things that were already unpacked in our first floor room along with all of the groceries we had purchased for the week3 Finally, when we went downstairs for breakfast one morning we were informed they were completely out of milk so we had to eat our cereal dry

Stay away from this dumpster fire of a hotel My wife and I frequent the Home2 style by Hilton due to the size for families This one was by far the worst to date

There was dirty laundry in the hallways that never went anywhere There was still trash in the room from the previous occupant The door stuck really bad from not being hung level and it was really hard to open and close The pool was ice cold, cloudy and had an odd smell Digital keys had issues unlocking the correct locationService here is an absolute joke too When asked with a question you are met with indifference and annoyance The staff are rude and unprofessional The girl at the complimentary breakfast was on her phone the entire time on her ear pods Every person working just seemed annoyed that people were thereClearly the management here is non-existant There is a lack of passion; a lack of consumer focus and a complete lack of work ethic Whoever owns this location should be absolutely ashamed at how it is ran Take some pride in your hotel and yourselves

A Google User

My review seems to have disappeared so I am sharing my full experience First, Hilton did not ever send an email confirmation Please note that this is important because it is the only document that would record a cancellation policy

Second, I cancelled over a month before my scheduled stay They proceeded to charge my credit card I reached out to the general manager twice with no response The front desk staff is not well-trained on taking and transferring phone calls and I was told twice to call back in the morning when a manager would be there I then filed a complaint with Hilton Customer Care and was guaranteed to receive a response within 72 business hours I have received no communication at all whatsoever, a full week later Please avoid this property and all Hilton properties at all costs I am having very similar issues with another Home2 property right now as well

Excellent experience! When I first walked in I was greeted by Christopher at the front desk He was so sweet and welcoming and had so much knowledge of the area He gave us great food suggestions and told me where to get the most for my money while shopping! Once he got us checked in we went to our room

Again, I was pleasantly surprised The room was was so clean! Everything looked new and smelled amazing! If you need an affordable night away from home, come here! You won’t regret it!!

Andrew Bennett

I was looking around for a hotel for my 15th wedding anniversary, specifically for a jacuzzi suite It was a Saturday night, and every hotel was either booked or the room cost over $350 for one night Also most of them had very small jacuzzi tubs

I stumbled across a listing for LivINN, and I was a bit hesitant because the price looked a little too good to be true, but I took a risk It was a risk that paid off beautifully The hotel is lovely, very clean and very well maintained The staff was so friendly and courteous, and when I got to the room I was stunned It was so clean, roomy, and comfortable The tub was huge, filled very quickly, the jets were strong but not uncomfortable The location is very convenient, tons of dining and entertainment options just a couple minutes away I’m simply amazed that it was the most affordable, but also the nicest jacuzzi suite we have ever stayed in If you get the chance to stay, this is a hotel you can not beat, for a great price

Diane Lipski

We were part of the convention in the Sharonville convention center Choosing this hotel was a great choice We didn’t know that all we had to do was walk out the side door, skip 50ft and walk right in the door! Room was spacious, very neat and clean

Checking in staff was helpful and friendly when asked about places eat The pool was very cool and they had sides that opened up without door seating and a fire pit

I have been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you won’t be disappointedNice, clean hotel It’s located conveniently by downtown The parking garage attached to the hotel is convenient The staff was friendly and the courtyard area is a nice place to relax with friends and family If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Cincinnati area, I recommend you stay here

Jo-Anna Benton

On a whim My bf had me come to this hotel as a little staycation I found the views to and from our room to be the best part of us staying there The gentlemen at the front desk were also very friendly

After a long night of enjoying our getaway We were disappointed to find the whirlpool that we were going to indulge in before checking out was no longer available It had been filled in and tiled over w a patio table on top We certainly were looking forward to that a bonus relaxation to a great night Should’ve been alerted to that change when reservations were made

Kyle Hoylman

The hotel advertises itself as pet-friendly, but upon arrival to check in advises that a NON-REFUNDABLE $250 pet fee is required This fee was not disclosed when the room was booked We cancelled our reservation on the spot and stayed at the hotel next door for less than the pet deposit at this location

As a long-time Marriott client, this whole experience was disappointing If you are seeking a pet-friendly hotel in the Greater Cincinnati area, take this Marriott location off our your list

My husband and I came down for a quick, one-night stay to celebrate our anniversary The hotel was beautiful, the suite they upgraded us to was flawless, and the hotel staff, from the valet to the young woman who checked us in, were all friendly and helpful The location was also fantastic

Great views of downtown, and the walk to Fountain Square was only about ten minutes A special thanks to Krystal, a manger, who must have noticed I was pregnant and had a bottle of sparkling grape juice chilled for us when we returned to our room after dinner Such a sweet touch that made our little getaway even more special Definitely the place to stay in Cincinnati

The hotel itself is beautiful and the view is amazing!! The rooms are okay, they could probably use some updating and the cleanliness of the room was okay The girl who checked me out was so friendly and had great customer serviceI would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area!!

Sasha Falls

This hotel is by far one of the most beautiful downtown unfortunately I did not get to stay at my last visit, as the Front desk would not let me check in I was assured by the paying party that my name was left at the desk as she was assured she did not have to leave me a key in that everything would be taken care of This however was not the case and I was not allowed to go up to my room that was already paid for, mind you I had already checked my car into the valet (tipped) and had my bags in hand

Not the best customer service as I have had fewer problems at far less expensive hotels and much more friendly staff to want to fix the problem I definitely will not be back here and I will not recommend this hotel in the future to others //Unfortunately the hotel made no attempt to contact me to correct this unfortunate experience even after contacting support Customer care is lacking greatly

Chad Worsham

I’m underwhelmed by this hotel The hosts at the front desk were friendly and cheerful, but they forgot to greet us as ‘valued members’ and no points or gift was offered And they charged us for valet parking, which we did not

The location is prime if you’re attending a game, but otherwise this property is not worth the exorbitant rate

Many places to eat that are walking distance Front desk lady was a little lost Walls are paper thin It was 2am and I couldn’t sleep However, this depends on other guests I just happened to be next to people having karaoke night in their room Someone was also smoking weed in one of the rooms because we basically got 2nd hand high as all the smell came through air vent Aside from the neighbors, the hotel facilities are good Pet friendly

The hotel was really nice

I really liked that the bedroom had a separate door from the livingroom/ kitchette and the bathroom was off the bedroom instead of being right next to the suite main door The breakfast was grab and go but was filling and delicious ( each bag had an apple, granola bar, and a muffin/danish) The bathroom had some cosmetic issues But overall very happy with our stay and would recommend

Sheena Williams

Im from out of town and rented the hotel They had roaches I haven’t seen a roach in real life since the 90’s

Not just one but the room had a family of roaches crawling all on the table and in the kitchen cabinet I walked into the rooms and they scattered all over across the table when I cut the light on I was so embarrassed because I had other family members rent the same hotel so we were in the same location I left immediately and the staff didn’t want to make eye contact and was pretty unbothered I was told that I would get a refund Fingers crossed

I stay at this Tru for a couple days per month when working in the area Never had a bad experience Bed and pillows are comfortable, along with the desk chair for working

TV is large Room is small yes, but for someone traveling and basically using the room to sleep and do laptop work, works perfect Shower has great pressure even on the fourth floor other hotels seem to have an issue with high pressure on higher floors The lobby is inviting and is good for socializing

This hotel was great! The staff was great! The hotel is clean, probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in Staff are constantly sanitizing frequently used areas The breakfast is wonderful but get it while you can because those ladies don’t play! When time is up, breakfast is over

We had a slight mix up at check in, we were checked into someone else’s room but when we figured out what the issue was, it was fixed with no problem I will 100% stay here again next time in Cincinnati and will choose this hotel across the board!

The room was large, and the staff was friendly and helpful However, the room was average It needed some care

There were gouges in the bathroom walls, the shower curtain rod was falling down, and had a mildew smell by the refrigerator There was a lack of lights in the room also It was not bad We did enjoy our stay It just seemed more like an average hotel rather than an Ascend Collection hotel

Chris Woerner

The staff was very friendly, most of the time,

the price for the room compared to what you get is outages and I didn’t even pay for the room The cleanliness was questionable there ceiling in the bathroom had what I believe to be mold, the pool we swam in compared to the pool they have pictured are to completely different pools The bed was comfortable but me and my girlfriend barely fit on it but so very disappointed

I have stayed at this hotel previously when they first opened and it was amazing, the cleanness, food, staff, and the decor is absolutely gorgeous This time around we used a 3rd party for our reservations and did not get was i expecting and there was nothing the hotel could do since i did not book with them and had to cancel 24 hrs prior with the 3rd party I wanted a “double room” since i had 2 adults, 2 pre teens, and twin 1yr olds

We ended up getting 1 room 😕 the lady at the desk was absolutely beyond amazing! Her name is Ieesha(not sure on the spelling) and I can say she took care of my family very well! The breakfast was not like it was before with the selection but still decent saying it was continental All 6 of us got what we needed for morning fuel both mornings The cleanness was not exactly up to par but was informed that there is new housekeeping when i brought it to a staff members attention I will stay here again in hopes of good changes brought back!

The hotel and rooms are excellent My review is because of Julia She met us at the door and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome

She is the person you want to lead and teach people to be in your hospitality positions! We had a long/short trip and stayed in a few hotels and never had the welcome feeling she gave to us I will plan on my next trip to see her again If I could find her, I would like to keep in touch Julia, thanks for everything! Thanks for understanding the grandma thing

A diamond in the roughVery nice hotel with comfortable, contemporary rooms The rooms are spacious and clean

The hotel staff was friendly and kind and I had an excellent experience here There is ample parking, even though it does not look like it when you arriveThe views suck, unless you like sleeping under bridges The hotel is jammed under a major highway and surrounded by concrete Despite this fact, I have to tell you that this is one of the most quiet hotels I have ever visitedSmall price to pay for being in walking h distance from the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Cincinnati Ballet, and many other great places

I am a Hilton Honors member who travels frequently and Hilton is one of my preferred flags to stay where I know the hotel will provide a dependable experienceThe Hilton Garden Inn Cincinnati is modern and maintained with friendly, responsive staff It has a small outside parking and an underground ramp garage

The restaurant/ bar has a limited menu, but our dinner was high quality, well prepared and presented I had a medium rare rib eye that was amazing, my wife had a marinated, grilled chicken fillet and she said was great We ate the bar so we had a chance talk with others who were enjoying grilled salmon, pasta and an assortment if appetizersOur room was nicely decorated and clean, but had a few problems trying to get an acceptable air temperature as the thermostat did network and the front desk said that it must have been locked out by housekeeping and that they could adjust it from their desk Unfortunately, asking to have the temperature turned down three degrees meant the air conditioning was turned on and we froze all nightIn addition, the tub drain was clogged which meant showers required ankle deep water in the tub Towel hooks were falling off the wall and the TV remote did not work, but they immediately dropped off a working remote at my requestAll in all our experience was positive and will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to family, friends and business associates
