Stephanie, at the front desk, truly exemplifies the professional, courteous, and friendly attitude that sets Marriott apart She was engaging, efficient, and got us checked in easily with a smile on her face the whole time After driving all day, it was an absolute pleasure to be greeted by her and have everything handled so nicely

Great room and great location added to the overall experience

If you read my other reviews you’ll notice that my previous stays at other hotels in Mississippi have been hellish Not so with Courtyard! From the moment I walked in I knew this would be great The front desk attendant was amazing, the hotel lobby was incredibly clean and well appointed, and my room is immaculate

Seriously, not just “clean”, but immaculate! It’s also well insulated from sound which means a great night sleep for me!From now on this will be the only hotel I stay at when I come down here for business

RaSeanda Washington

Worst stay ever most racist person I’ve ever encountered Sitting waiting to speak with corporate currently But the way I was talked to was awful

Nate, Joanne, Leanna get it together One of the most dirty ran down Marriott’s I’ve ever walked in to And the worst service Don’t work in the hospitality industry if that’s not what you desire to do

We appreciated the free parking when we arrived Check-in was fine You have use the bell service to use the luggage cart which just means you need to tip someone to do something you are perfectly capable of doing yourself

The rooms were VERY dated Our room faced a parking lot, but we were only there for 2 days so not a big deal No security using the elevator which is usual at a casino hotel There is no daily room service, but there is an envelope to leave a tip for …well, I’m not sure what since we made our own bed every day The phone in the room did not work, so we were unable to call down to the front desk or request bell service when we left We finally just used our cell phones to make a request They met our expectations of cleanliness and comfort The room was quiet and we got a good nights sleep I recommend this hotel if you are just there for the casino, but if you are sightseeing it’s not near much

This should be read with a somewhat understanding of the current labor shortageHotel is in need of some serious upkeep Rooms felt uncleaned and were very cramped for space

Sheets were worn and frayed, but the bed was overall comfortable and smelled cleaned Very dim lighted bathroomCasino was quite the let down Dealers were nice and pit bosses were easy going, for the most part That being said, if you’re looking for 24/7 gaming action, you will be in for a let down Not only did they only have 1 table open per game, they also shut down card games after 1am Slot action was decent but with limited options and play levels Additionally, if you fancy liquid refreshments of any kind while you play, you might want to bring your own beverages While the wait staff was very friendly, they were severely short-staffed and spread quite thinAll in all, if you just want a bed and a daytime place to try your luck, this is not a bad place for the priceAlso, it seems fair to say that this area has been hit pretty hard by the economic and atmospheric storms over the years and does appear to be in “rebuild” phase

Dorothy McPeek

The hotel is in a great location The rooms are well kept There is not a microwave or refrigerator in the rooms, however you can rent one for 10

00 a day Towels are available upon request The meals at the mix and mingle were very good, however again you pay for those yourself The slots are very tight, so gamble accordingly The staff is very attentive and helpful The pool area is very nice and well kept, except for the long tubing which cost 900 each Again use common sense

Kim Brown

Room and amenities were great The view was wonderful Great pool area and wonderful access to the beach

The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is the continental breakfast It was lacking For the price I would like to have seen waffles, breakfast meats, something with sustenanceOther than that this place was amazing Staff is super friendly and fixed our reservation error ( not their error) quickly

Leila Adkins

I would give this hotel 45 stars if I could The staff was extremely nice! Some of the nicest I’ve met at any hotel

The hotel was very clean, smelled great and was in a perfect location The room was a great size and we enjoyed the view They also have a bar area you can sit at and enjoy music on the weekends They do have a pool but we did not go to it because it was kinda small and there was a lot of people there Since the hotel is on the beach, the pool didn’t really matterThe only things I did not like was the bathroom door was broken and the breakfast is no longer a real, hot breakfast It is muffins, bagels and cereal Having myself, my husband and our two sons in one room, a working bathroom door is necessary I can understand the breakfast being changed though with all of the restaurants that have popped up around the hotel What they did offer worked for us but we were expecting an actual breakfast so that was a little disappointingWe would definitely stay here again!

Jessica

Hotel was great Great view and loved our room Staff was super nice

BUT, whoever the lady is who PROTECTS the breakfast is awful She watched over our shoulder, couldn’t pour our own milk, and while making my coffee I had my items on the counter and she’s yelling at me I need to clean it I haven’t even moved yet She is absolutely awful and will probably be the reason I couldn’t ever come back Hotel would be AMAZING if she didn’t work there

Jeff Baldwin

I just returned from a 5 day stay at the Palace It was a great vacation My room was great, clean and spacious

The best part was the smoke free environment Someone in our group had an issue at one of the Craps tables and I never got my $25 bonus money for the slot machines but nothing is perfect I would give the gambling a 35 out of 5 The casino staff was some of the friendliest and engaging I have ever seen There is plenty of security and they are just as good to converse with

Phillip Smart

I like to stay here mainly because of the smoke free environment The staff is always friendly and courteous There is never a long line to check in

The casino itself is not that big, but big enough There aren’t enough food options in my opinion There are two sit-down type restaurants and one deli type place For those people who like to stay up all hours of the night gaming, I don’t know if there are superior food options at this particular place The beds are usually top notch, although sometimes you can get a rough bed

Abby Blue

Their buffet was excellent so many things to choose from… basically something for everyone

Beautiful area you can see the Biloxi – Ocean springs bridge lights all lit up it’s a very pretty site Remember it is a smoke free casinoAnd if you are looking for top shelf liquor in your drinks they have a lot of medium liquors available to pour from of course a beer is always the safest thing to order

The room was very clean and had a fresh pleasant smellI love that we had a balcony The front desk staff was very professional and informative

Bree was the lady that checked me in and made me feel very welcomeThere was a older gentleman working with her and he too was top notchIt felt good to spend money where I felt welcomed The breakfast was excellent and the European lady running the breakfast was very pleasant To all the stafferskeep up the good workObviously it starts from the topso hats off to youMy experience with Best western was awesomeThank you and I will be back

Anna Forgue (45hioy)

I’ve stayed at this hotel probably 4 or 5 times now because my boyfriend lives on the Air Force Base and it’s definitely worth the money It’s accessible to 18+ which is nice because I’m young and a lot of places don’t take that It’s cheap and it has anything you’d need for a couple nights stay

Everything was always clean and set up when I went there Staff is really nice Breakfast is included and excellent AC or heater runs BEAUTIFULLY Only complaint is I’ve gotten some rooms that didn’t have a working vent in the bathroom or I got a balcony once but couldn’t use it because the door was shut tight And the room gets musty if you take a hot shower for more than 10 minutes Otherwise, very nice I always go back there when I visit

Candace Shaidaee

This place is very outdated… and the hallway smelled like smoke all the time To get “fresh” towels you have to throw your wet ones on the floor outside your door and wait until they come back later that afternoon to replace -the exact number- that you set out The best thing about the whole place was the complimentary breakfast and the lady who worked it

The rooms were clearly “old” as there was a crack in the wall, the towel hanger fell right off… and nasty stuff around the tub edges The water for the shower didn’t even drain correctly, and it was a funny brownish color every time you turned it on There was a pool, but you have to walk from the back where the hotel rooms are up to the front near the office to go to it The crowd of bums hanging around and sleeping on the bench and ground near the parking lots made that a big no for us The bed was comfortable but there were stains on the sheets Probably the worst hotel we have stayed at for the price we paid

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed inMy sister and I had an issue with the refrigerator and Ho(maintenance) changed immediately He also checked on us daily, very friendly

Our front desk attendants Marie and Theresa were exceptional 👏 Theresa is very knowledgeable of the area and was able to give great recommendations and directionsI appreciate the extra mile, it was a great 5 day mini “work” vacation, but they made it feel like home!

Yolanda Brown

It was a good location from Biloxi I chose this hotel because of the ratings The beds were comfortable and maid who cleaned our room needs more instruction it wasn’t completely dirt but the bed covers/ bedspreads had stains on them the drawers had sticky stuff in them and we had to wipe down the whole bathroom because it didn’t look like they gad did a real clean of the bathroom

but was not bad No unusual smells just needed a little extra cleaning The only complaint I have are not enough luggage carriers had several of us late checking g out because we were waiting for a cart they only have 2 AND the back entrance that u use you key card to enter was very hard to get in it took about 4/5 swipes to get inI started to wonder if who ever was watching the security cameras on the back door opened the door after they saw our frustration us all in all a good stay nice friendly staff

VRAMS

Room size was good We got there later in the day so we quickly went to sleep The next morning I noticed that the bathroom looked clean but it wasn’t as clean as it looked

After having housekeeping come in and clean the bathroom I noticed that the mirror was still not clean I like the company but I will not be staying at this hotel the next time that we’re on the coast

Loving this hotel definitely glad we picked this one! We here now and the food amazing guest service is amazing only thing I hate is the rooms don’t have a microwave but that’s small thing I ask this housekeeper named Diane for some towels and she took great care of us The view is amazing! I love this place and I’m glad we choose this hotel and definitely coming back!

Ramonda Griffin

This casino never seems to look clean to me We also used to love their buffet but it hasn’t been up to par lately The lobster tasted like hit dog water and was a tough as leather

When you drive 3 hours to eat this buffet, and pay over $40 per person, you expect the food to be worth the price and the drive sadly it’s not We were a party of 7 We are there 2 times and the food sucked both times We will not waste our trip on their buffet again any time soon

Nancy Klaja

The room was very nice I would have preferred having a shelf in our shower to hold personal items Definitely a design flaw

I felt safe here and the staff was very friendly They had plenty of slots to play in the casino The location was right across the street from the bay We didn’t have a bay view room but our view was of the pools And we did enjoy the bay

Okay so here is my candid reviewUpon entering the building, I saw a man smoking a cigarette I told myself “Maybe he couldn’t wait, being that he was walking towards the outside doors

” However, as I kept walking towards the hotel elevators, I saw that a lot of people were smoking I guess it’s a casino thingIs it a thing? This was my 1st time at a casino and it was interesting I didn’t understand any of the games and what to do to win Guess what? I did win some money You also get free alcoholic beverages while you’re playing on the machines That was cool!My room was nice and neat The pool area is nice as well There is a bar and a jacuzzi as well The weather was perfect this weekend tooThe only personal complaint I have is the smoking I don’t smoke and I hate to smell it and/or smell like it That cheapened the hotel experience for me Apart from that, I had a good experience

Mary Catalanotto

Stayed here recently with two young kids and it was not comfortable at all To be honest I wouldn’t stay here even if I was traveling without any kidsPros: The water in the room was hot

Front desk and housekeepers were very nice and friendlyCons:Valet service was closedOnly one bell hop was working which is fine, I can bring up my own luggage, however, no additional luggage carts were available My poor husband had to make four trips up and down the busy elevators to bring up all our stuff3 elevators are available to service guests Good luck if you catch it around a busy timeSet the room at 68 and it never got cold, just felt like it was only blowing airNo microwave in the room, $30 additional charge to get oneBeds were creaky and hard

monique territa

The room was nice and clean! But it was the customer service I received that lead me to this review From check in to check out was fabulous! I was traveling alone and as a lady I was very cautious When asked I was escorted to the room with a manager, unfortunately I did not get his name

But at Infusions, I did get to know them and complimented the service You know COVID has taken the pleasantness from lots of people in the service area, however every time I was greeted by Terry, is was a smile and small talk When I asked to meet the night manager, he thought he did something wrong When Nancy came out, I had to let her know her employees, who are hard to come by, were a pleasure Brandon and Terry went above and beyond! My Spirit in people had started to diminish but not at IP When I left that falling spirit was lifted as high as can be Thank you my friends for make my trip comfortable and peaceful Mama needed a break from home, and what a blessing I received!!

The entire Staff work together as a team and guests reap the benefits We received outstanding & friendly service from Julie at check in, Monica our breakfast hostess and front desk supervisorJasmine Lobby was decorated w/ Valentines- displaying every staff members name! Rooms were clean and beds comfortable

It is very well maintained older style motel The grounds were clean and plants well manicured As a rewards member, I received a generous welcome goody bag We definitely plan to stay at this Best Western hotel on our return trip

chris cuellar

Nice clean rooms just don’t like the fact that you agree on a price for some reason they need to get more money out of you then what was agreed on I just don’t believe that is good business

I would have much rather them tell me they are not going to give me a discount It’s funny I have AAA, I’m here working for a corporate office All discounted stays but manage to pay regular price Guess when you can pay on time with no payment issues you should pay more

Misti Adams

This place was by far the nastiest hotel I have ever seen or stayed It should be removed from Expedia The price was ridiculous compared to the filth

The floor was wet, the ceiling was wet Carpet very sticky and I’m fairly certain the bed skirts had bodily fluids on them We were traveling a very long distance and if we had not went through Expedia we never would have stayed We have always trusted Expedia but it failed us this time So disgusting

This was a great stay! We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed ourselves Very comfy bed, only complaint is with how thin the pillows are The character within the rooms is so cute, it feels much more homey than the average hotel

Service was fantastic, each staff member was very warm and eager to help us The pool area though was my favorite It had plenty of chairs and was the perfect area to sunbath I would recommend!

This is a wonderful place for a family vacation Our room was very clean, the staff were so friendly, and the drinks were delicious! The arcade was really cool and the pool was amazing! There’s something for everyone in the family at this place It was also nice having a balcony to sit on overlooking the water and watching the dolphins catch fish in the marina; not something you get to see everyday! I’m definitely looking forward to going back

Pretty good experience Sink was plugged when we first arrived and they sent maintenance up right away Room safe had 2 batteries removed and therefore didn’t work, it did concern me that it was like this

The room was clean, no good place for hand towels The rooftop pool was great! Water was warm and bar service was good, friendly staff and fun environment There is a smoking area there which was nice

I found this place a little above average Somethings good some things not so good I’ll start with not so good but may of these may not affect others

For my needs I thought the gym was lacking Very small, no weighs and no room to stretch One cycle, one treadmill and one bike The location was very commercial If fast food is what you like it is well situated They still do not have daily cleaning so it is on request It is just off the interstate that is good and bad Easy to get places but there was lots of trafficRooms were nice and quiet despite the location Easy interstate access, and the hotel was quiet with ample parking The breakfast nicer than most Hampton Inns and they were very good at keeping things sanitary Staff was friendly and accommodating This could be four or five stars to some

I booked a room for May 13-15 a month ago with advanced pay Well last night or yesterday some time the property without notice canceled my stay I am very upset about this and that’s the nice way to put it

My daughter has a dance competition that weekend Now then Hotel is booked and I had to book somewhere else Its funny how the money comes out quick but it takes 2-3 business days for it to go back in

At first glance the rooms were clean I stayed on first floor The person traveling with me stayed on 3rd floor and had a smell in her room

The smoke alarm battery low chime would go off throughout the night even after the battery was changed She switched rooms The second room also had a musky smell Additionally, the elevator was out-of service the remainder of our 9 day stay after having guests trapped in it I used the laundry service and when my laundry was not returned same day as promised I checked on it the next morning It had been cleaned but not folded I was told their folder left Instead of delivering it to me outnof the dryer, it was all stuffed into a bag to wrinkle overnight I had to conduct hiring interviews in a wrinkled shirt Ironing the shirt got most but not all the wrinkles out

Stayed in the Key West Cabana and it was perfect! Super comfortable bed with an awesome natural light shower My wife and I had planned in going straight to town after checking in but the place was so cozy we decided to take a nap and relax instead We definitely fell in love with Ocean Springs and Front Beach Cottages

Looking forward to a longer stay next time so we can take advantage of all the outdoor amenities!

Stayed in the Queen suite but it isn’t as luxurious as its description It shows signs of lack of maintenance/cleaning Cabinet doors loose and in need of handles, dirt around ceiling vents, missing electric cover plates, light bulbs out, damaged mirrors, mildew on the slider door track

Coffee cups chipped Shower floor mat stuck to wall inside dripping shower with hairs on itWhen we tried to let Chris know of these obvious things and that we expected better for the price He responded with excuses and then told us the room was discounted already 26300 a night was a discounted rated that we were unaware of when bookedThe reviews were great and the place wasn’t horrible The bed was comfy and room was a nice size and layout The bicycles were to dirty to use with nothing to wipe them down with To bad, was looking forward to riding around the wonderful town We walked and it was still greatNot to Chris; apology is acceptable without excuses and instead affirmation of action to resolve the issues

My wife and I recently stayed at Beach Front Cottages in Ocean Springs, Mississippi It was our first trip to this state’s coast, and it was fantastic! The cottages were just walking distance to everywhere, the beach, downtown, restaurants, shops and bars The cottage was very well appointed and cozy

We really enjoyed the outdoor space that we shared with some wonderful folks that stayed in the other cottages The owner, Bridgette, went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was top notch! We will definitely be back and refer friends, as well
