Stayed here for one night, twice, in a two-week time frame We like the large suites with a full kitchen, as our family of five does long road trips with a cooler full of food for picnics, and the in-suite refrigerators are very useful The sofa bed is also helpful for the kids to sleep on

This Homewood Suites property is good for what it is It’s relatively clean (hallway and elevator carpeting could really use a deep, deep cleaning or total replacement) The breakfast options are good, the pool is very well-maintained, and the service is friendly It’s very close to I-435 and in a relatively safe area There are plenty of dining and shopping options around the area, tooWe’d definitely come back

The hotel is clean and layout of the suites is great for families Kitchen is great to have We were a little disappointed that the decor appeared more dated than online photos show and furniture was scuffed up

Other Homewood Suites we have stayed at have been more plush looking The staff was very nice Breakfast was good, but they need to turn the heat up on the steam tables a bit to keep the food warm enough We had a lot of noise from a bunch of kids overhead, but I think that is the luck of the draw anywhere you go Really liked the convenience of their app keys and check-in/out Fitness room was small but had the basics

Brittney Belew

Staff was amazing!Elevator was very scary, didn’t want to open nor close it definitely gave us some trouble when we first arrivedPool was closed- kids were sadThe room itself deserves a 5 star rating! Their is 5 of us and it made us feel at home in this apartment suiteThe only reason I give it a 3 star because for the price of over 250 for one night the pool and elevator should not have any issues in our eyes

Thank you for making my family feel safe and cozy

My family and I were looking for a place to stay as a “pit stop” on our road trip from Minnesota to Texas I googled the safest cities near KC and Prairie Village was it! We enjoyed it so much we booked 3 nights on our way back homeOur kids loved fishing on the lake as well as the playgrounds across the way

The staff was friendly and accommodating We liked that a room key is needed to access other floorsRoom was spacious and smelled amazing, the lake view was cozyGreat location, too! We felt right at home

Beautiful hotel and great property We enjoyed having several options to eat it The market had a grab and go section so a larger fridge or a microwave in the room would’ve been nice

Not a big issue though, would highly recommend There was a large post wedding party at midnight in the room next door and by the time I dialed the front desk they had already resolved the situation which was much appreciated We would definitely stay there again if we’re in the area

Stephanie Erisman

We recently stayed at the Inn at Meadowbrook for around a week and all I can say is that it was absolutely magical in every single way The rooms were gorgeous and extremely comfortable The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were having a wonderful stay

The amenities were amazing and the food options were delectable The staff made us feel completely at home and even brought out small gifts for my toddler who was over the moon It was simply magical and we will never forget our stay! We have many staycations already in the works for the upcoming months and we couldn’t be more excited I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone, its top notch and you will have the best time ever!

Front desk staff was friendly enough Breakfast and a pool offered (I didn’t end up using either) but the room itself sucked The fridge in the room did not keep items cold, and the condenser in the fridge leaked water onto the floor

The room had a mildew smell The AC unit was loud enough that my partner was unable to sleep Our room had a king bed, and the pillows offered are smaller sized, almost throw pillows, and not large enough for the bed provided The shower did not have a water resistant inner curtain, so all of the shower water soaked the curtain and pooled onto the floor The smoke detector (I believe? Maybe C02) needed a new battery that caused a flash in the room The TV in the room had weird lighting issues going on where I could see bulbs behind the screen Also, for two people in a room, only three bath towels were provided That did not leave anything to put on the bathroom floor to try and dry up the water (I need one for my body and one for my hair, my partner used one for his body)We ended up leaving a night early to avoid these issues for a second night I brought these issues up to front desk staff hoping for a full/partial refund for the second night, and the staff member listened to my complaints but didn’t offer anything for the poor room condition/experienceAlso, hotel is close to an industrial district so loud trucks move material nearby The sound is loud and travels into the room

Will never stay at another Best Western or Wyndham hotel again I made a booking error and asked about getting it corrected I was polite, never raised my voice, never demanded anything

The GM Pam was immediately rude, short with me, called me a jerk, said I was blackmailing her, and hung up on me I just wanted simple change made They’re keeping my money and refusing to help If you ever need something from this hotel they’re likely incapable of helping you After how I was spoken to by the GM and Best Westerns refusal to do anything they have lost my business forever I hope it was worth the $100

electric buzzard

I hate to give such a low review to a Plus location, but this hotel really felt like a standard BW with a few half-baked cosmetic tweaks That would have given it four stars

however, for some reason, my room was very humid and literally felt “wet” at times I’d leave my baseball cap on the table and it would be legitimately wet in the AM My towels didn’t really dry when hanging in the bathroom eitherOverall, the bed and my sleep was good, and the AC worked like a champ – I like my hotels cold, and that did the trick The staff was friendly, tooI hate to say it but due to the very average rooms that manifest themselves as nicer than they are, I won’t return here when I am in Olathe

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in the area

I’ve been staying here for years If you choose this place you definitely won’t be let downWonderful staff! I have to give big props to Bo!!!!! He was exceptional and a breath of fresh air! Thank you Bo for your kindness and gentle smile Bo took excellent care of me and my significant other (Concierge in the Club Lounge) He deserves a raise and a bonus!!❤

This is a really nice hotel, only a couple of small issues I wish there was a microwave in the room, and when I arrived my shower drain was super clogged and the first shower I took I was basically standing in standing water at the bottom of the tub That said I did request this maintenance from the front desk and it was taken care of quickly

The shower head wasn’t that nice either, it was spraying water in several different directions, but I got the job done Several other people I was traveling with mentioned that they did not have soap in their room when they arrived, it wasn’t just one person, so that also doesn’t look good I also wish the breakfast menu down the restaurant had a few more options But The Omelette was really good so no worries I suppose Otherwise the look and feel the place is super nice and I’d be happy to stay here again I also forgot my iPhone charger and one of the front desk attendants was actually really helpful in letting me borrow one

Rachel Brown

Hotel stay was great Lexi with sales was GREAT to work with We were with a baseball team and they put all those that scheduled timely on same floor which worked well

Noise was minimal from other guests Rooms are a bit small for families larger than 4, BUT expected when they are attached to conference center and mostly cater to businesses vs an actual family stay Hotel was updated, clean, fresh Super accessible to all things and the highway Our family had dual tournaments…Lenexa and Lee’s Summit it was PERFECT location for both

I was very underwhelmed by the Fontaine I had hoped it would live up to its “4-star” reputation but it’s way overpriced and needs more updating and maintenanceAn issue I had was that they advertise the prices to appear really low on Google

I was seeing in generic searches $112 a night That is absolutely not going to be the case We recently stayed 2 nights in a basic room and ended up paying $630 (including parking)As others have said, for the price, I would’ve expected more amenities They did have a rooftop bar which was nice, but the rooftop pool is really tiny No spa, very limited dining options, no robes in the rooms, etcThe lobby is nice and the shared facilities look the best But the individual rooms themselves need TLC Chipped paint, scuffs, rusty metal items…again just not what I expected for the star rating and costI don’t mind paying for excellence, but I wouldn’t stay again unless the rate was substantially decreased The value just wasn’t there for me

Ashley Lardino

You are only paying for the convenience of the location The lobby is beautiful and gives the illusion that you are staying at a very high end hotel The staff was very friendly

However, the room is very very basic And as in other reviews, our room was dirty The fridge had not been cleaned and had what looked like chocolate milk all over the inside It was dusty and the floors were dirtyThe only “luxury” was the walk in shower with the rainfall shower headThe rooftop pool was so small and the whole area was cramped It was hard to move around and uncomfortableI would not recommend this hotel if you are wanting a getaway for a special occasion Incredibly over priced for such an under whelming experience

Allen Pepito

Today, I planned a surprise reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday which is not for couple more days I’ve been in contact with Micheal Wallace in preparing for that day He has been kind and quick to respond to All (yes there were multiple interactions) my emails

The Fontaine hotel is mine and my boyfriend’s favorite stay-cation spot We have chosen to stay there 4 times now because of it cleanliness and beautiful rooms They also have an amazing rooftop pool and restaurant/bar The location is incredible since it is close to multiple restaurants and store at the plaza The parking is easy to find in the parking garage which has access to the hotel through an elevator Anyways, the customer service that I’ve receiving from Micheal in just planning this special night has been exceptional I just want to give a BIG THANK YOU to him for everything he has done

We had a lovely stay here for two nights Our room was large and well appointed, and the bathroom was big and all marble, with a no- fog mirror The hotel was beautiful, very clean, tastefully done

The online check-in was quick and easy, same for checkout There was music in the bar, which was lovely, and the bartender, Robert, was delightful We really loved having a balcony and a nice view of country Club plaza, and we were close to everything The beds were really comfortable, with one firmer pillow and one that was soft and comfy The restaurant was great, and our breakfast was really nice All the hotel employees went out of their way to do whatever they could for usWe did have an issue with the A/C, since I’m always cold and we could not get it warm enough, so we just turned it off The only thing I could suggest is a towel rack in the bathroom by the vanity, that would make things easier, but overall everything was amazing We’re planning on returning, and possibly staying at the concierge level next time Beautiful hotel!

First stay here Hotel is beautiful and spotless Staff are personable and professional

Although requests weren’t spot on the first time, either wrong room or forgot something, every measure was taken to ensure requests were fulfilled Wait and cleaning staff were especially top notch with care attention you’d expect in a five star resort Salad at American Slang restaurant was perfect Rooms were above average, with robe and slippers Management seems somewhat new in the profession but adapting Overall a great great experience

LaRhonda Boone

My husband and I had an impromptu date night The room and staff were amazing I highly recommend the concierge package so you can have access to the VIP lounge

Don elevated our experience to make it an unforgettable night There were several people waiting to check in and Jacob, who was walking out the door for the night, stepped in and helped everyone get checked in quickly We cannot wait to stay again

Just finished a three night stay with a youth group of 100! This hotel far surpassed my expectations The suites were clean and spacious The kitchens were fully stocked

The breakfast area was large and comfortable with plenty of room I’m picky about my breakfast items, and the selection was large and the eggs were real! The staff went above and beyond making sure our stay was comfortable I highly recommend this location as well as other Residence Inns

Rayleen Pirnie

Stayed here based on location and needed a suite with a pull-out bed but the next time we need a suite in the area we will book elsewhere Overall a very old, used feel to the room, along with an odd smell and VERY noisy fridge that disrupted sleep They need a remodel

Wouldn’t use the pull out part of the sofa-bed due to a big, black nasty spot in the middle of the mattress that looked like mold (just slept on the couch instead) Breakfast was ‘meh’ at best Nice staff

Mauricio Flores

Room was great, ladies at breakfast great Everything went down when I requested full housekeeping in my room since my stay was for 8 nights they do it for you I scheduled after my 4th night

The surprised came when I came to my room after a long day of work at 8pm, and my room still not cleaned I visit the front desk and told the guy that my room was not cleaned, he apologized and told me that for sure the next day was going to be clean Well, the same story repeats on my 5th and my 6th night They never came to my room to be cleaned after every person at front desk promise it was going to be ready the next day It’s not gratifying when you get to your room after a 12 hours shift at work, tired and find your room undoneParking needs to be expanded, all parking slot were taking when I came back from work at night

This was an excellent place to stay Most places lately are a let down with customer service, but I am happy to say that is not the case for this staff! They checked all of the great customer service boxes, from the front desk staff to the wait staff in the dining room! Then there was the amazing breakfast they offer in the morning It was quite a spread and omelettes made to order as well

Again this was an excellent pick!

By far, the Worst Embassy Suites we’ve been to and we’ve stayed at many all over the country Even the ES in Overland Park that is so much older is run better than this one For any sports teams visiting KC for tournaments, STAY AWAY from this

The hotel only cares about rooms sales and they do not care or welcome their guests 1 There’s no coffee after 9:30AM There’s no coffee shop or cold drink, tea or smoothie place at the hotel at all Never seen such an empty bare hotel Guests have to drive a distance to get a drink Even Hilton Garden Inn has cold iced water, tea and coffee pots placed throughout the day in the lobby Here – nothing 2 All hotels typically when they have guests and busy weekend accommodate with food and drink service There are at least 100 rooms taken during this weekend for softball tournament just from our club Parents and kids eating at the restaurant last night, watching Stanley Cup playoff game The restaurant is full, people ordering food and drinks from 5pm, tens of thousands of dollars to be made in revenue this weekend The lady working at the hotel restaurant literally turns off the TV at 10pm and basically tells everyone to leave because they’re closed People are still eating their food and having their drinks, she hands them the bills and demands they pay immediately because they’re closed Never seen anything like this All the hotels we’ve stayed at, accommodate their busy weekends of guests by staying hour or so to wrap it up 3 The rooms are very small, no room for luggage, the drawers are so small, can only fit Barbie clothes The plumbing is terrible with sinks not draining, water pressure so low that cannot even wash your hands STAY AWAY from ES Olathe!! Take your money elsewhere! There are tons of hotels in the area esp Overland Park that know how to operate and accommodate busy weekends of full capacity and treat guests with good customer service

NOT A REAL HYATT! Nice staff but the hotel needs some serious updating 1st room they sent us to was not even cleaned yet, no towels or soap & disgusting green tinge on bathroom door handle Not worth your money!! & yeah I totally agree with any other negative reviews about this place! I understand it’s hard to find workers these days but then just say your full

Felt sorry for the one maid that was there at 10pm still cleaning rooms!! My one star is generous

Kathryn Edward

I would give it 0 stars if I could No one was at the front desk for a solid 20 minutes, and when someone finally came they proceeded to ignore me and take the phone call that had been ringing for 5-10 minutes Fine, I checked into my room and it was great looking, but there were crumbs all over the couch, some random guy’s shoes still there, and there were *blood* stains on the bed… I was disgusted so I moved to the couch bed

That was even worse It smelled of urine I slept the night in the bed and was starving the next morning I went down for breakfast and it was DISGUSTING There was a white foam over the eggs and the tortillas were molding together The “oatmeal” was oats in cold water in a cooking pot I’ve been with hyatt for a long time and never have I ever seen something this appalling Do not stay here

Brian Diamond

HORRIBLE Experience!! We booked two rooms The first one was right next to the pool The entire night we could smell weed so noone was bothering to check anything outside

The other room when we checked in was HORRIBLY Hot The thermostat was broken and was reading 78 degrees We were able to get the AC unit to turn on but it was either a meat locker at 62 degrees or a sauna at 78 degrees I will give the staff some credit as they did try to fix it by giving us a different room, but when we walked into that one it had a horrible smell of sewer gas so we decided to just give the hot/cold room a try for the night When we woke up the next morning, there was NO hot water Overall i would say this was a VERY BAD experience and we have stayed at this location several times in the past I highly doubt we will come back after this experience

First and foremost Beautiful hotel The staff was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable of surrounding areas

The lady that was at the front desk around 5pm on Feb 19 2022 was outstanding and we thank her for all the amazing advice she gave us about everything we asked about, thank you The room was clean and quite nice I honestly was a bit worried after reading some reviews about this hotel I had booked our room before looking at the reviews and I’m honestly glad I did that Yes the roof in one part of our room had a bit of water damage but that was the only negative we could see about this hotel It was beautifully decorated and the architecture was fascinating They have a nice little courtyard in the back that probably looks gorgeous in spring and summer The room was clean and the beds were like soft fluffy marshmallows No stains or anything that made us feel gross The shower was truly the spotlight of the room I’m a big girl and there was lots of room to move about The shower head is high, which is nice for a short person and I would guess a 6ft tall person would be able to stand under as well Water pressure was strong and felt like a massage from heaven All the staff was friendly and extremely helpful We will definitely be coming back in the future

I accidentally booked for the next day instead of the night, I was tired and had my 2 boys with me It was past 1 am I’m so thankful for Angel the receptionist/security she was so kind she updated the reservation and checked us in quickly and even gave us some water

The two lady’s serving breakfast were so so nice as well greeted me and my kids as soon as they saw us The breakfast selection was great but we did not end up eating as my kids were still half asleep, every employee at this hotel greeted us the only thing I did not like was how unclean the hallway to the rooms was and how dirty the counters/ remotes were in our room They were musty/sticky made me question how unsanitary the room actually was the furniture in the room also was dirty or damaged but being so late and us being exhausted couldn’t complain but go to sleep Great kind employees but housekeeping needs to do a way way better job

K’Lyn Hardy

Very friendly staff + nice rooms! My bf and I booked a room via T-Mobile Tuesday app same day @ 7:30 pm, made it by 8 pm and the room was already ready! Only thing was there were strands of hair in the sink and one in the tub, the toilet holder was broken upon arrival, and the bathtub had slight drainage issues, but everything else checked out to be great! Nice + comfy beddings/pillows, amazing breakfast in the morning (LOVED the biscuits and gravy,!!) and the shower head + pressure was perfect!Just a heads up, on the weekend, there may be a lot of police sirens due to the area and nightlife that happens on the Westport, but the hotel was pretty safe and we enjoyed our 1-night stay!

I had a fantastic stay at the Marriott Spring Hill Suites The hotel was under construction but it didn’t effect my stay at all (other than a little confusion about what hotel was what) Check in was a breeze and the staff was friendly and accommodating

The room was very large and well appointed and cleaned well The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked amazing in the blazing heat Although I did not eat it, I walked past breakfast being set up one morning and it smelled delicious The price was also reasonable when I booked Would recommend and return

Needed a quick room for a wedding we shot in Overland Park Found a great rate here and didn’t have high expectations

But they have renovated the place and it looks great Super clean room, surprisingly comfortable king bed, and blackout shades Continental breakfast was solid from 7am to 10am I believe Close to plenty of things to do in OP We went over to Johnny’s Tavern (sports bar) one night, and over to Martin City for their brewery and pizza another night (incredible) Highly recommend

Cleadester Johnson

Under renovation at the time The front desk Clerks were nice The rooms were very clean and everything in the room was completely renovated even the carpet

The ac was quiet and works well This particular room was on the second floor located over the indoor pool If you turn the ac off the room starts to smell damp and musty Remedy don’t turn off the air I could see into my room from the hallway and vice versa Hot water pressure was awesome There is a microwave and mini fridge Easily sleeps 6 The location is great, plenty of shopping nearby I-Fly is just before you get to the hotel There is a shopping center with spa behind the hotel Off the highway for easy traveling I will stay there again

Overall great experience The Front Desk was great and even helped locate us a few places to go I got a corner room and it was clean & nice

I actually used my point for the stay which was 30,000 I had drinks at the bar and it was a nice environment although the server was very busy So patience is encouraged The next morning, I enjoyed coffee and working from a high top table in the lounge

My room was 1211- directly across I guess the laundry or cleaning room That door stayed open the entire time I was there It continuously sounded as if someone was coming in my room, because of the air I guess

However whenever someone was in there you can hear them clearly into the room as if they are at your door It was not as if they were loud on purpose, its was the lack of sound proof provided in the room The carpet was coming apart as you walk into the room The bottom of shower had a scum stain After pulling back the sheets on one side there was a cluster of snags I staff was super nice and servicing Restaurant was nice even while training new staff members The only thing room service charged me 795 for a glass of tea which came out of a bottle Restaurant gave me the bottom and glass of ice, tacky and super up charged on the drink Front desk was generous to provide a cookie everyday with a smile Sauna and gym was clean and nice Parking was horrible, trashy not sure if someone comes out there an clean up Cant say I was 60% satisfied

Great service at check in Little black short hairs on bed & long brown hair on toilet seat & bathroom floor upon check in & paint cracking around drain in bathtub made me wish I had shower flip flops Other than that room appeared clean and in decent shape

Very ugly curtains Comfortable bed Popcorn ceilings Elevators doors close very quickly and have poor motion sensor – watched a older gentleman get squished in the doors, thankfully he wasn’t hurt

Service was great Di went out of her way during the breakfast service every day to make sure we were happy She found out I liked regular Lipton tea and not only found me a tea bag but she recognized me each morning and would go get me a couple of tea bags during that time

You could see her going around and giving that same level of service to everyone She really goes above and beyond and takes pride in what she does

This review may be confusing as I did not actually stay at this hotel I stayed in the Marriott that was in downtown KC but needed a place to hang out for a couple of hours until a friend could come pick me up When I explained the situation to the hotel staff behind the counter they were so friendly and accommodating and made me feel so at home even though I was staying in a different branch of the hotel

The atmosphere in the lobby was wonderful as well They had aesthetic areas to sit and classy music My few hour stay was very enjoyable and I wish I had caught the name of the staffer behind the desk so that he could be recognized

The room was clean and comfortable with excellent wifi available Deducting one star as the breakfast hot food offering was not hot Even items from the bottom of the various serving dishes were, at best, lukewarm with the top often being cold

Didn’t try any of the lunch and evening food options so no comment thereWindows could have done with a clean as wellBut in terms of priorities which were somewhere comfortable to stay with friendly staff – these were met and exceeded so would stay again

We were only spending the night as part of our mini vacation We checked in at 4:30 and went our for a steak and lobster meal at a location close by I wanted 2 queen beds but, none were available

They said they could get a suite with a king size bed and a divan that opened up to a queen size bed Perfect! It was very comfortable! The ultra bedding for the divan mattress was immaculate and the bed linens were fresh and and smelled so good! The breakfast was Outstanding and Delicious So many choices My eggs were cooked to my specifications and there were more choices on the buffet to choose from!! They went above an beyond to cater to our every need Love This Place!!!!!

I had booked at the Aloft, but was relocated due to a plumbing issue at the hotel I was grateful for a place to stay but the courtyard is nothing like the Aloft Nothing within walking distance and the hotel bar is reminiscent of a walk up counter at the airport rather than a place to relax at the end of a long work day

Room was clean, but there are no usb charging ports which was inconvenient and unexpected Staff was fine Overall this place left no impression on me and I wouldn’t stay here again unless it was the only option Great if you plan to drive somewhere for dinner and then go straight to your room and sleep

Our hotel room was beautiful I actually really liked the couch in the room! I also thought it was nice that they had a magnified mirror for makeup and soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower I also thought we had a great view with a cute little patio area

They did have a little area you could order breakfast from but the selection was pretty small and I thought kind of expensive but I was glad they had milk for my son We will definitely be back

I felt so lucky to find this place to stay after having sewage issue at our own place, and the hotel next door Extended Stay cancelled my reservation as they were somehow “overbooked” The place is very clean and quiet, and the staffs are extremely kind and helpful all the time The bed is very comfortable to sleep and surrounding environment is very nice for suburban hotel

The management is very helpful to accommodate our unique situation for adjusting staying duration, and I just cannot say enough thanks to that I would highly recommend this place to anyone who need a nice place to say in south KC area!

Katrina Rush

This hotel is not expensive There were some strains on my sheets They looked like water stains similar to what you get on the ceiling

The room didn’t have any extra blankets for the pull out bed The staff was helpful in person, but impossible to reach on the phone I also thought it was weird that you had to put in a reservation for the pool It was a good enough value for the price
