Overall our stay was great! My fiancé and I booked a room to get away for my birthday weekend When we first got there, one of the staff members had a very poor attitude that threw off us because prior to arriving, the woman on the phone was so energetic/nice(These were 2 separate employees) But I had spoken to Melissa (manager) about the poor interaction with the front desk staff member

She was very polite and made me feel like my concern was heard! They are very clean Most clean hotel I’ve stayed at yet The rooms are nice! We will definitely be staying again

A M

My family stayed here a week for a baseball tournament This is by far the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in I always clean the rooms upon arrival and there was little to no dirt that was found in the room

Beds were extremely comfortable I haven’t slept as great as I did during our stay, in years! Breakfast was average Pool is small, but the outside lighted balcony was perfect for gatherings and grills available for cooking out Close proximity to great food and a Walmart Highly recommend staying here!

The staff overall was pretty good Overall cleanliness was 65-7

They had a decent breakfast Housekeeping was a little tricky – they did not mentioned that we needed to request housekeeping when checked in, so when we came back from our day out and about and wanted to take showers we had no towels – they gave us pool towels to “get us through” Requested housekeeping next morning before we left for the day, got back to the room late and no housekeeping Now we can handle pool towels for showers, no problem, but NO toilet paper left in the bathroom IS A problem Then we went to take our kids to the pool and there was a group of kids, middle school to early high school age, – probably 8 to 10 of them – we were unable to use the pool with our kids due to the smell of weed being so strong our clothing smelt like it when we got back to our room Was awful Now we could also smell it in the hotel in hallways and elevator which you will have probably most places but no pool use because of it – unexceptable The lovely front desk clerk did say she would take care of it right away but we were still unable to use the pool

DO NOT STAY HERE! Very rude and extremely unprofessional staff with obvious lack of training & hotel itself has cleanliness issues:- We booked with a group of people I called the hotel to ensure they had room for our group, they confirmed they had more than enough available rooms I booked a room for our family and then went back to our group and everyone else followed suit

The day of our stay, I called to see if we could check in early The woman at the front desk said that she found our reservation, the hotel was fully booked and the cleaning staff was doing everything they could to get the rooms ready, but they wouldn’t be able to do an early check in at the time of my call She told me that I should call back at 1pm and that she would put us in the first available room At around 1pm a member of our group received a call that their room was being cancelled, however they resolved the issue When I went to check into the hotel I was told that our room had been cancelled due to overbooking I asked why our room? I knew that I had booked prior to the 6 other people in our group and there were 9 rooms available when I called and booked? The front desk clerk was EXTREMELY rude But, the manager Buffy was even worse I asked her “why our room”? She couldn’t answer, said the girl that was there before her didn’t even leave any notes I continued to explain the situation and why it didn’t make sense that our room was cancelled and that we were there with a group Buffy said with a lot of attitude as she was walking away “we don’t have room for you here” We didn’t receive a phone call or even an E-mail letting us know our room was cancelled, nor did we receive an apology We did receive a lot of attitude and I wasn’t the only one Upon reading other reviews it appears this is not the first time this has happened Have fun finding another hotel when this one overbooks itself and doesn’t even have the courtesy to notify you- All of the rest of the members of our group did stay there and said that we were lucky we stayed somewhere else I was told that the rooms looked like they weren’t clean One member of group said that it looked like there was a bloody palm print with blood dripping down the wall in their room

Staybridge are wonderful hotels no matter where you are at They provide a pretty decent breakfast not just a continental one Plenty of choices

They also have a happy hour which is nice to come back toThe amenities is the room is like a timeshare with a full size fridge, stovetop and microwave, couch, desk and big bathroom This hotel must have high traffic because i can feel the indentation of the one side of mattress being used more than the other I would suggest just flipping mattress a littke more oftenShout out to Sandee, the cook and the happy hour ladies Sandee helped me with my job and the other ladies were fun Cook had skills!!Hope to be back! Thank you!

Very nice Marriott stay Definitely more for business travelers There aren’t too many attractions that are walkable nearby

Only one or two restaurants that was really within walking distanceSo I wouldn’t stay here longterm with family, but for business, it was pretty good Layout of my room was pretty small but they tried to fit in the amenities that they could Good desk, comfy chair, but the layout felt a bit crampedThat being said, the amenities were updated The shower pressure was good and hot A lot of plugs Good iron Everything felt very clean Sometimes with older properties you can’t clean out the “old” but this felt updated and niceService was always very top notch Dining room, front desk, etc always has a smile and willing to help Definitely the best part of the stay was them

Tina Perkins

This place was great everything was amazing from the front desk attendant’s to the room! But the most amazing was the lounge! Glenn and Rachel gave such superb service! Glenn and his old fashioned will have you absolutely wondering what hit your taste buds don’t miss your chance to get one of those when you’re there! Rachel with her knowledge of everything on the menu made it to where I didn’t even have to look and I was able to order she was great and had great conversation!

Olivia Brouwer

Very nice and clean hotel in a great area with tons to do Love the outdoor/indoor pool and lots of space outside on the patio to hang out Loved having the bar/restaurant option and the small convenience store in case you need a snack or beverage

Front desk and bartenders were very friendly and accomodating Only thing that was off was the elevators seemed to get stuck frequently and it was very hot in the hallways/elevators, but the rooms themselves were cool Definitely would recommend this hotel and stay here again!

This hotel is beautiful and so well kept We stayed in one of the jacuzzi rooms and were very happy with the room The room itself was huge, very clean, and very modern

The bed and pillows were wonderful, the most comfortable of any hotel I’ve stayed at Our room was very quiet and private, it felt like the walls were more sound proof than an average hotel, we never heard anyone in the hallway or surrounding rooms I loved how unique the Alice in Wonderland theme was throughout the hotel Unfortunately we stayed over the holiday, so the restaurant and bar were not open, but I’ve heard great things about both!

Patrick Barnickel

What a wonderful hotel! We checked into a horrible Marriott, and were on the hunt for a new, clean hotel Hotel Deco is wonderful! Michael at the front desk was attentive, made us feel welcome, and went above and beyond for our stay! What an excellent employee, and a true asset to the hotel On our way out Kat was such a help with our luggage and our departure

Such a wonderful front desk team! Stay here and you’ll never want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful stay Hotel Deco team!

Paige M

Absolutely the best place in the old market! Everyone was friendly and helpful! Have never slept better in a hotel! The bed was amazing the PILLOWS were fantastic! Only complain is the shower was a little odd! Some instructions would have been nice, but once we figured it out it was great too! Bar service was excellent and the drinks were phenomenal! This is our go to in the old market from now on!

Traveling on business and this hotel is attached to the convention center That alone made it a good choice for the week of classes at the convention center The rooms are very clean and well laid out and the rest of the hotel has seemed well kept and clean

What put this hotel over the top in amazing was the customer service from the front desk staff, in particular Alex She went out of her way, and I mean out of her way, to make my stay as wonderful as it could be When traditional solutions were not rectifying my issue, she took action and solved the problem herself when she could have just gone about her business I appreciate the time she took to care about something that she didn’t have to The time she decided to give to a stranger to make my stay better The kindness that not everyone has and sometimes can be very hard to find I do hope that management of this hotel also recognize what a great employee and an even better person they have in Alex

JJ Schreck

The customer service is out of this world From the front desk to management So bright and welcoming

We had a minor issue with an oversight in our housekeeping, but it was immediately addressed and made right I had never stayed at a Courtyard and always booked with the adjoining hotel not anymore, I will for sure make the Courtyard our preferred stay on our return trip every year!

Cynthia DeBaun

Staff seemed really nice however they seemed short staffed just like everyone I was in town on business and this is close to the office so it’s very convenient The first night I noticed that the carpet was soaking wet by the air conditioner

I informed the front desk 3 times and Noone came to fix it for 3 days One of my employees got checked into a room that had throw up all over it and then had to be checked into a handicapped room because that was all they had

The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful The lobby and common areas looked maintained and inviting The location is a bit odd and the parking lot was somewhat narrow

The main downside to the stay was the cleanliness and maintenance of the room we were in The fitted sheet was stained There were hairs both on the bed and in the bathroom The carpeted floor was noticeably damp in spots The bathroom had gobs of caulking along the tub, sink, and toilet, and there was a loose floorboard One final positive was the price was less than alternatives in the area

Hannah _

The customer service was good, however the quality of the rooms were not The first room we were in smelled very strongly of mildew and the bathroom had a very intense cleaner/bleach smell The towels in the bathrooms were stained and the bedding had visible stains as well

We brought this to their attention and they were very kind and let us switch rooms without issueUnfortunately the next room we stayed in had issues as well This room also had a strong odor, as well as stained towels and water leakage in the bathroom The bathroom floor had water damage and dipped in the center which made it feel very unstableAll in all compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at during our travels of similar price this one was by far the dirtiest Although the customer service was good, I would compare the actual stay to a 90$ hotel rather then the 150$ we paid

Sarah Schoner

My tub wasn’t working so I called the front desk They sent someone up to look at it who agreed it didn’t work They didn’t have any other open rooms in my room type

The maintenance worker was at a Drs appt After over an hour of waiting I asked for a discount and was told yes that’s fine we will discuss it in the morning After I put my kids to bed they came knocking at my door to fix the tub at 8:30pm- I said no I spoke to the front desk again who didn’t understand why they couldn’t fix the tub when my kids were asleep After explaining to them again they said ok and I would still get my discount When morning came the front desk worker knew nothing of the discount and the boss wouldn’t answer his phone But I was promised I would still get a discount and they would call me within an hourAlso the milk and coffee were both empty at breakfast at 8amThis is by far the worst best western I’ve ever stayed in

Honestly the best service outside of a Four Seasons Took insanely good care of my wife and I when our flight was Diverted to Omaha Shuttle was amazing, only 5 minutes to the airport, and they took us multiple times throughout the day so that we could handle the numerous issues

The bartender was fantastic and accommodating Front desk was so nice and helpful Room was great, very stylish and comfortable Great views of the stadium, and nearby restaurants and cafes

Sarah Koch

It was a nice hotel lobby & hallway were very clean Room was nice but not cleaned well, lots of dust on everything phone, lamp, desk The headboard & light switch were sticky and not cleaned and the couch cushion had a huge stain on it but was flipped over

The staff was less then friendly at both the front desk and the bar/restaurant and when calling for food service no one answered and when I went down to the bar the bartender stated she had one calls and no messages The bed was comfortable and the rooms were nice but was not as impressed with this hotel Unfortunately I probably would not stay here again

Frank Wilkins II

I chose this hotel due to it’s location for a family trip we had planned Reservation process was easy and all was good until I got to the hotel As I walked into the lobby I made it 12ft from the counter when the staff told me no early check in’s

Not a how can I help you or how is your day going great first impression by the staff This was at 2:45pm and the check in time is stated as being 3pm We where told it would be a little later due to the room not being cleaned yet Well at 5:45pm they said our room was ready When we got to the room it was far from clean Dirty carpet, hair in the tub and shower and only one shower towel Tried to call the front desk 4 times and no one answered The late check in caused us to have too alter our evening plans and miss a reservation I would NOT recommend this hotel Maybe I just had a bad experience By it’s one I won’t forget

My wife is in ICU here, we live in Sioux City Iowa and don’t drive College world series now so hospital said all rooms in Omaha booked 3 days I’m home not even able to talk to my wife Sonesta ES suites got room for me for 7 days! So thankful to be able to see my wife

Staff are great, especially the woman at the front desk The room is great! More of a back home relaxing vibe not clinical like many hotels It’s like a condominium complex I am forever in their debt by their kindness and comfort in such a time of fear and uncertainty The property is beautiful, and is surprisingly peaceful and serene, can rarely hear traffic Their kindness, generosity is a blessing and will not be forgotten Thank you many times over

GoFukk Yherself

Couldn’t figure out why many months ago so many bad reviews Learned new ownership and management Room is great

Pool looks awesome, and employees are all amazingly kind and caring Here because wife is in ICU They couldn’t be more empathetic Come here from a day at the hospital and am able to unwind as doesn’t have the motel vibe It feels like home Love it and then! Don’t miss an opportunity to unwind here!

Liz Dyer

Noisy not the neighbors fault by any means; just built poorly I could hear them snoring it was so bad

by 10 am and no sleep, I knew when they were making breakfast or showering pipes sounded like jet engines also, be aware of very high pet fees unhelpful receptionist very disappointed by the other reviews you’ll probably get better sleep at a motel 8 and won’t pay as much

I don’t normally write reviews, but need to warn future guests and hopefully management will make changes Do no stay at this hotel as the cleaning crew is completely incompetent or maybe even non-existent!!!!! I stayed here previously for work and was a little put off at the cleanness of my room, but thought I would give it another chance I checked in and went to the room, and went to put my items down on the desk, it was completely covered in food crumbs like someone ate a chocolate muffin

I turned around and went to the front desk If the cleaning crew isn’t even wiping the obvious mess up, you know they didn’t clean the room well Figured I give it another chance, they put in a different room The carpets had not been vacuumed in who knows how long, the mirror in the bathroom had not been clean, I had started to question if they just made the bed without changing the sheets, went to put something in the fridge and leftovers, so I was out The front desk guy was great, and I checked out with a full refund and went to the Residence Inn down the road Just totally gross Not that quality I expect from Marriott Don’t stay here, until management confirms a turnover in the cleaning staff

Ana Lane

I read the reviews before checking in and thought perhaps I should of booked elsewhere and then that all changed when I checked in The breakfast isn’t the greatest but it certainly is not the worst It was pretty good two of the three days I was there

The front desk staff are great The room was clean The internet worked great I would stay here again

Janet Jorgensen

Many maintenance issues with our 2 rooms during our week long stay Some were fixed; others not All of the issues were brought to the attention of the front desk

Breakfast area was not kept restocked and food was not always replenished Near the end of our stay, the one front desk associate offered to reduce the nightly rate on 1 room by $10 for all 7 nights, but then only did it for 2 on the final bill Front desk associate (female) was doing child care while on the job Honestly, one of the worst hotels I have stayed at because of the staff This was not Marriott standard

We were in Omaha for 5 days to see my first grandchild and stayed at the Element hotel Everything was pleasant, the staff, EVERYONE we came across at the hotel was so nice and helpful The concierge that checked us in was stellar and said he loved spider man for his honesty, he was a super friendly and super helpful guy

He handled a energy surge that happened at the hotel and the stress with grace We met a staff member with our last name, Stewart, he was super friendly and funny and would love to find out how to send him a gift The energy and renewable concept is wonderful and I appreciate itThe only things we noticed that could or should be fixed is the shower ceiling was peeling and falling apart, the caulking in the bathroom could be redone it was pretty dirty and blah But overall the room was great Thank you

If I could give 0 stars I would We booked a reservation for 2 queen beds 4-5 days ahead of time and we thought the area was nice so everything should’ve been fine right? First of all check in process took a very long time, when we got to our room, one bed was disorganized, there was used towels in the bathroom, and the trash wasn’t taken out We asked to speak to a manager about it

About 15 minutes later we have a man in sweats come up to our room and spoke to us (later to find out he’s just a shuttle driver) They tried giving us a one bedroom room with a sofa bed I said no because we came here for a 2 queen bed room not a sofa bed and one bed That is not what we paid for Fast forward to when we go to the lobby again and were told our only option was to leave because they didn’t have any other rooms available This was around 9:30-10pm Worst experience ever

miodice3

EV CHARGER notes:One Tesla handle 40a/200v 8kW rate and another j1772 handle Free, huge signs on second level of garage (appears to be common) 4 hour limit, which is not advertised “destination charging”Leave note on windshield? Otherwise hotel is excellent, I could see in figure 2 handles being a huge issue Hope they upgrade to proper overnight / plenty of plugs

Pattering Around The World

The hotel is nice; good location, easy checking in… but it’s 12 AM and there is a DJ playing music at fullVolume somewhere nearby… I called the front desk and supposedly this happens frequently, but she couldn’t tell me when the music would stop…but it’s a Thursday night… and I have two kids under 4 trying to sleep… Guests should be informed of this disturbance prior to check in, or else whoever assigned us this room should have had a little more consideration for my children and kept us as far away from the event as possible

This rating and review is based off observations alone while attending a convention being held on the grounds The hotel was very clean The staff were friendly and helpful

The layout was nice and once you were away from the main part of the convention the sound quieted down immediately Will most definitely give this place a look if we need a room in the area

Stayed a night to catch a concert next door This is a HUGE hotel, but it was an extremely busy day Waited 49 min to check in

*I received an email the day before about contact free check-in to skip the line Link was broken*Staff was exhausted but friendly My room was on the top floor with a great view Soap, shampoo and conditioner all Crabtree and Evelyn but no lotion Also tissues, not sure if that’s a covid thing But moving along We spent some time in the lobby bar, friendly staff Bed was so comfortable Check out was a breeze Over all happy

We were here for a softball tournament down the road from the city We started setting up our reservations in Jan 2022 with Angie the GM All I can say is amazing!!!! The check in staff, front desk staff, breakfast staff in the morning, the rooms were super clean, lobby super clean

Ease of getting to highway was just down street, Walgreens down the road and city eateries within 5 minutes The only bad part of this stay was we won all of our games so we didn’t have to stay another day Angie we thank you so much from our whole softball team to your whole team A plus plus We wish all of our stays could be this pleasant when we travel

Easy to make a Reservation The Woman at the Front Desk Alexis Was amazing Super Friendly and over all a Great Help Dinner Was Great as well Chef Meeka Makes a Mean Burger and The Breakfast Buffet was Hot and Fresh The Gentleman At Breakfast was Great too My Room was Clean and Rate Was Extremely affordable Only Problem I had at this Property was the lady at the bar Couldn’t understand her broken English, Rude and My Drink was Extremely Strong Otherwise a Pleasant Stay

The aesthetic of this place was commensurate with the price (read: it was cheap); the problem was, the room had no soap Indeed, it seems like the entire hotel had no soap I noticed this upon checking in and asked the person pushing the housekeeping cart if I could get a bar of lovely soap wrapped in cellophane or some other substance that could assure me that this soap belonged to me and me alone

She said she didn’t have any on her cart, which seemed odd No soap on a cart that is pushed around for the purpose of remaking rooms and providing guests with amenities such as small rectangles that could produce lather and kill germs? I then visited the front desk in search of a 19 cent piece of antibacterial fulfillment No such luck The front desk attendant, who seemed annoyed that I even existed, called a few numbers and informed me that, sadly, the “soap truck” hadn’t arrived yet? The soap truck?, I wondered There is a truck that drives around to places presenting themselves as hotels and carries nothing but (presumbaly) tens of thousands of small rectangles that could produce lather and kill germs? Where was this truck? Had it been robbed by soap bandits? Here are some things this hotel could have done: 1 Send an employee two blocks down the road to the Walgreens to buy some soap for guests who might, in fact, expect some in their bathroom The attendant who seemed annoyed that I even existed would have been a good candidate for this task 2 Call the soap truck people and threaten to cancel the soap contract unless they delivered the goods today Use the leverage of the Sheraton name 3 Offer me a credit of $189 for the hand-soap dispenser I bought for the room and then LEFT in the room so the next guest could have some soap in their bathroom They did none of these things Two stars

We were visiting Creighton with our daughter and found The Farnam to be a fabulous retreat after a day of tours, interviews, and info sessions We have stayed at other Autograph Collection properties and this one provided the same fantastic level of service we are used to!The Valet and Front Desk staff greeted us with enthusiasm and they remembered our names throughout our 3 day stay We stayed in a King suite, which was modern and stunning, and most important to me, super clean and comfortable

We enjoyed the lounge in the lobby with the delicious small plates, and the craft cocktails are amazing! It’s great to venture into such a great location, central to all that Omaha has to offerI’ve already booked three more stays at the Farnam! Can’t wait to see everyone again

The Farnam is a beautiful and clean hotel It is close to the park and good food Walking distance to The Market area

Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and modern They’ve got this fresh scent throughout the lobby and hallways Housekeeping showed up every day, and they did a splendid job each time, something that is lacking in some hotels nowadays We’ll definitely like to stay here next time we visit Omaha Well done!

Can’t say enough about the quality of this hotel both in design and staff/service Brand new beautifully designed hotel incredibly clean and modern Staff was very helpful from check in to check out

Scott the manager is a true asset to the team there and made sure my stay was perfect I want to shout out Sam at the front desk who wrote a hand written note when I arrived Also want to highlight the friendliness of Derek the valet, and Greg a bartender at the Catalyst Stayed in the visionary suite which exceeded my expectations The electric curtains and floor to ceiling glass windows were an elegant touch Proximity to the old market was a huge bonus as that area is very charming and has great shops and restaurants I will be returning to the Farnam!

I can’t really give this place a bad review The staff were so friendly and helpful! Probably some of the nicest hotel staff I’ve seen in any level of hotel honestly But the rooms really need an update

The recliner is made of fake leather and it was peeled off almost the entire back of the recliner Marks all over the wall where people have reclined hard in the recliner Some of the furniture seemed to be held together with scotch tape in places

deb jones

The room was fine The staff was polite However, when we notified the hotel before our arrival time of the airline canceling our flight and not being able to check in until the next day when our flight arrived, they told us we would not be charged for that first night

When we called the next morning to see if we could check in early, they told us we couldn’t check in until the regular checkin time of 3 pm I asked her again if we were being charged for the first night and she told me no, so it made sense that we couldn’t check in early However, we were charged and our room should have been ready for us Won’t stay there again

Andrea Flug

Only single rooms available when I booked doubles many months in advance I had the online confirmation and proof of payment Family of 5

1st night we spent in a single room with a queen air mattress 2nd night we asked if a double room were available We were informed that we’d have to pay $85 more for that room Why should we pay extra for a double room when we already paid for 2 nights of a double queen room? Under construction There are carpet scraps in hallways and large stains Refrigerator broken and not cooling Toilets are backing up And am confused by the lack of kitchen utensils for a kitchenette Breakfast area advertised is under construction Smoke alarm system is sounding off and has been muted But still beeping every 10 seconds and can be heard thru the doors

I loved my stay at this embassy The location is amazing, very very close to the old market and downtown The staff were great, friendly, and helpful

The room was clean, modern, and comfortable I loved that it has a walk-in shower Breakfast was good with food out and made to order if that is what you want The place is one of the best embassy suites I have stayed in Yes you have to pay for parking but that is always pretty normal for a downtown location in any city I will definitely be back

Donna Stewart

We absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area! Close to historic downtown with great restaurants within walking distance and less than 10 minute drive to the zoo The free breakfast buffet was out of this world! The price for the room was very affordable (Please take note that parking is $21 for self park and $27 for valet

) Still with that even a fantastic deal!

Momma & Prince

We had an excellent stay Although the hotel was very busy we never had to wait long for the elevator The evening reception was great and the made to order omelettes for breakfast were head and shoulders above the others (which have also been great)

The hotel has a lovely environment, many places to sit and relax for a private conversation Very enjoyable in all areas

The guy at the front desk was very pleasant and seemed to be very friendly and gave the impression that this was gonna be a great stay However upon checking in to the room furnishings seemed very dated and that isn’t all that bad they also had no phone in the rooms I was told they removed the phones Which is like ok how do I contact front desk if need be and vice versa

But the thing that made the stay unbearable was the place had roaches which was an immediate hard no Tried calling hotel from my cell no one ever answered my calls and then they were closed till 6am or something like that So it was just a lose lose situation for me

Mike S

The manager is awful He will sneak into your room He is lazy and will not fix anything

He pockets the guest rent money and gambles it His name is chuck He got very angry and tried to fight some guest The plumbing is all backed up in every room The electrical work is shotty The laundry room has bugs Location is nice Building needs to be fixed and the manager needs training And needs to act professional Do not rent there Go to wyndam on 108th old mill Very nice

Great stay! My room was spacious, modern, and clean I loved the small touches that make Aloft hotels unique For example, fun wall decals and a booth with a table instead of a desk

I went to the bar for wine and fish tacos Jasmine, the general manager, was working the bar for the night and she was so friendly and helpful! Amazing customer service I will definitely be back

Cassie Upkes
