We chose this hotel because we were told it was pet free except service animals which were only allowed on first floor We had a room on the fourth floor It smelled so bad of dog that my son and husband ‘s allergies were stirred up badly

The shower curtain had mold on it and when I took out the hair dryer it was disgusting Covered it gunk and smelled like it was going to catch on fire We left asap in the morning We will not stay here again Staff was friendly

Kate B

Quick service to check in Small lobby and dining area especially for the amount of people this weekend Breakfast items were limited also

Bed was comfy, but there’s mold in the shower, sink fills up and takes time to drain, mini fridge barely works, door has been kicked in won’t lock and has a gap Curtains are outdated and broken Needless to say I wouldn’t stay here again nor recommend it

My hubby found this place while we were on a break from each other We decided to come spend sometime together talking and not have the grandkids and stress of taking care of them It had been two years since we got away

I am glad we did and because of the niceness of the staff and nice room he decided to rent one more night This a comfortable place Loved the hot tub and the pool Wish they had more in the little store, when you get the munchies in the middle of the night, but all in all a great place Thank you for a nice two day vacation

Marlene White

Very helpful staff, felt like family Enjoyed the Soup & Salad Wednesday night meet & greets and the breakfasts Felt welcomed here

Like room & openness Close to airport but not often distracted by roar of overhead planes Slept well at night Appreciated computer area for customers, though child visitors tore off wires & made the 2 computers unavailable for use one day Beds comfortable

Brad Elliott

A nice Hilton property with very good sized rooms The staff was very courteous and helpful with our large group and made sure we got what we needed A big pool and hot tub area with attached outdoor seating made a great place to hangout while the kids swam in the pool

Will definitely recommend and would stay again if staying in the Plainfield area

Gorgeous hotel with big rooms Everything is kept very clean & the free breakfast offers a lot of different items to choose from & they all taste good The night shift lady that was working when I checked in was really nice & very helpful – in spite of the fact she said she had just started there recently

Definitely a nice place to stay if you’re wanting to stay near the airport

I felt like I was staying in what I could only imagine government housing would feel like Lots of transients outside, and many live-ins There were cats in several of the cars outside the hotel, and the parking lot was dirty

On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked for extra bedding However, we will not be staying here or any other WoodSpring Suites again

Sara

If you enjoy loud fire alarms in the middle of the night, weird stains on the top of your bed, and a terrible night sleep this is the place for you!In fact I encourage you to stay 2 nights, the first night we’ll set off a fire alarm at 5:14 in the morning The next we’ll do it around 4:04The one nice thing was that the staff we encountered was nice! But that didn’t outweigh the early morning fire alarm wake ups

Jake Aretz

New hotel but new dosent mean nice, everything is cheaply made, the room feels like a college dorm and the walls are definitely thin You can hear a good bit of everyone in the hotel and the guests are not desirable here

Rough crowd wouldn’t stay again without someone paying me Lastly the pillow was the worst I’ve ever had out of 100+ hotels Very lumpy Do yourself a favor and keep driving

Christine Gunzel Manatt

Overall very nice stay Room was clean and staff friendly They even got a deck of cards for us to play games with friends in the lobby

Parking is a bit challenging because you do have to check in before going to the garage Also the small check in/loading lane is pretty small and it’s almost impossible to turn into the garage from the loading area unless your car has a very tight turning radius This forces you to leave, circle the block and come back after check in

Tuwanna Towns / Keesee

Front desk was super friendly, rooms and hotel clean, parking easy Slim pickings on amenities Not in walking distance of anything

five stars because I love the family feel atmosphere & the hotel is amazingly clean, probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in! I don’t know who is over the housekeeping department, when it comes to cleaning of this hotel it has to be a passion I wish I could give 10 starts for house keeping

Tiffany Mann

I’m on the first night of a 3 night stay for business travel and I already could not be more pleased! This place and its staff are wonderful! All aspects of my stay, thusfar, have been super pleasant and easy from the check-in process to parking to navigating surrounding areas to honoring last minute requests The room, common areas, and outdoor areas are extremely well kept, up-to-date and up to par Joe, who checked me in, and all other staff have been polite, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful

Whether traveling for business or leisure, this is your place! I recommend Townplace Inn & Suites Downtown Indianapolis wholeheartedly and without reservation

Our visit was amazing! Troy greeted us at the front desk with a smile and was so nice! He gave us a room with a spectacular view of downtown The room was spacious and clean All of the staff were nice and polite

The hotel’s location is perfect for walking around the downtown area We are looking forward to the next time we visit Indy and will definitely be staying here again

Nelly Andrews

Stayed here for 4 nights with family Excellent hotel! Very nice to have the complimentary hot breakfast and complimentary evening reception But, don’t expect much in terms of drinks and snacks at night – just basic items

It’s a complimentary reception though so nothing to complain about Our suite was clean and very spacious The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but not many sofa beds will be The staff was great Other reviews mentioned a small pool, but it’s really not that bad and the water is quite warm For a downtown hotel, the pool is perfect Other reviews mention no housekeeping but it says this on their website and they make you aware at checkin also – if you need something, just ask and they are quick to bring it to your room This location is AWESOME! So easy to walk to many restaurants, bars, and attractions The parking garage has some tight turns so don’t bring a large vehicle in to park if you can help it Other reviews were surprised by the parking charge but it’s clearly listed on their website and it’s in the middle of downtown so it really shouldn’t be a surprise that there’s a cost to park I would definitely stay here again

Summer D

Place was clean and bed was comfortable! Great location walking distance to most all the good restaurants and mall The only issue was A/C wasn’t keeping room cool at all We only stayed one night

We let staff know and they assured us it would be taken care of asap We weren’t there ok g we ought to know if they actually did but overall a nice hotel!

Had a restful night at this location The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean I was worried that there would be road noise, but there was none

The breakfast was awesome, but then eggs, a biscuit and sausage gravy is one of my favorites (There were plenty of other options as well) The shower had gloriously hot water—not that Luke warm stuff a lot of places have these days Parking was plentiful and easy to get to Check out was a breeze and I was quickly on my way

Bonnie Adams

This is a very nice and clean hotel All of the staff was nice and friendly Breakfast was good

Not sure if there is a temperature control on the pool water, but it was a tad chilly water, could have been warmer, otherwise it was good too The only downside I did not like at this place, was the coffee pot in the rooms are in the bathroom That is not healthy at all They could be placed on the desk out in the room Not in the bathrooms That was the only bad thing, I seen and didn’t like Otherwise this is a very, very nice and clean hotel

Jennifer Wesner

We stayed here as we were flying out on the first flight to our vacation destination the next morning Staff is great Room is nice

That night , however, going to bed at 8 needing to get up at 2 am was a bit rough! People running and yelling all night ! I spoke to the from front desk and let them know They were kind Offered to move us but at that point it was to late ! I got zero sleep We appreciate that they tried to help We have stayed several times at this location and will stay again Some things can’t be helped even when they do their job There stay, park, shuttle service can’t be beat

Hotel was clean and in a safe, convenient location I had never stayed with the hotel brand before and it has a few odditiesWe were in town for a swim meet, and a lot of other families were there for baseball, volleyball, etc

We regularly use hotel ice machines to fill water bottles They do not have traditional hotel ice machines The rooms have full size fridge/freezers with a built in ice machines They are kept on the off position and the tray is emptied between guests Not a big deal, but when you wake up at 6am and realize you have no ice, you have to come up with a new planThe rooms have a kitchenette, that’s is nice, but not functional unless you bring cookware This is not a feature I look for in a room, so my only experience with kitchenettes was at resorts with bare bones kitchen essentials This may be the standard for hotel kitchenettesThe hotel looks brand new, and was definitely clean My concern would w maintenance The stairwells had treads already falling off, and two of the outlets in the room were loose in the wallOverall a good stay and will be back

Philip Ward

My Place co-founder and chairman Ron Rivett has had the hospitality vision since 1974 with the establishment of Super 8 motel Inc, which he sold in 1993 Now, he returns with another chain of motels offering basic rooms with kitchenettes for both short and long term stays, pet friendly and competitive rates

But gone are all the amenities No pool, no continental breakfast Their new alternative is “Breakfast in Bed” which offers a packaged breakfast for $449 that offers a breakfast entree (sandwich/burrito, hot or cold cereal) side (fruit, yogurt) and juice/milk delivered the night before to your room This was a bust The first sandwich I attempted to order “off their list” they did not even carry and after that it went downhill as their stock was depleted and pretty much just had burritos left to offer White milk was also in short supply I declined the breakfast Rooms are simply decorated, clean but the bed was rock hard Parking was plentiful and being that the breakfast was a total failure-there are a plenty of breakfast eateries within walking distance Airport is real close too

Sundra Deleon

Please look at all the reviewsYes their room are beautifulYes they have empty kitchenettes

Yes they have a refrigerator inside each roomAs shown in my pictures the plumbing wasn’t working, only the toilet was flushing The shower was dirty it had someone else’s hair (shaved hair) on the wall still The shampoo was open and the other one was used The toilet paper is the one ply kind(That matters to me) For this particular stay it was business only and I was alone So I only used the restroom and slept a few hours Didn’t turn the TV on or check to see if it had a viewHope it was helpful

From the moment we walked in until it was time to checkout, my stay was amazing! We were greeted by Nicole and her team, warm welcome and friendly tone The room was clean and beautiful, breakfast was great! They answered all our questions, ensured we were comfortable and helped guide us around since we’re not from here A group of us from Arizona stayed here and we all agreed this was a great experience! We often book with this hotel when we travel from AZ and I assure you we will continue to book here! Please be sure to visit and ask for Nicole, she was just the epitome of kind, friendly, graceful and welcoming!

The staff was very welcoming when I first arrived Upon check in, they were accommodating with my special requests Breakfast was delicious and ready earlier than expected, which worked out for me and my group as we had an early convention

The rooms were clean, spacious and well stocked with towels, coffee and extra pillows The hotel is very convenient to the Indiana Convention center and the price point was great! The entire staff was friendly, including the cleaning staff Check out was quick! The experience was great and made my business life much easier

Scott

Super nice place Clean rooms nice gym excellent breakfast in the morning And they have a nice little bar area and sitting area for reading or talking or whatever down the lobby really nice hotel

Any problem I had was I bought dinner at the bar and I do not pay with my card for tips and I crossed it out on a receipt and sure enough $5 was taken out of my bank account without my permission the next day for royalties And to beat it all it happened again when I bought a couple drinks from the concierge desk the next day another $5 was taken out of my account for that transaction and when I talk to the manager about it he could not explain it but it did happen so enough said other than that the motel is 100% top notch

Room was very clean and spacious Beds comfortable However staff will tell you they are understaffed

They advertised a pool/hot tub but it was closed because it was not up to regulations per employee and unknown open date The little “store” has no prices shown and a pipe was dripping on me The bar was closed due to no staff and the advertised free breakfast cost 850 per person Wasn’t bad walk to our event, but had I known some of these things I would have pd a little more elsewhere Was hoping for a discount but that would require the morning girl acknowledging your presence

Aimee Schweitzer

We were in town for a wedding and this was one of the cheapest options we could find downtown that still seemed decent! We were really surprised at how much we ended up liking it It was the perfect stay for a few nights! The room was comfortable, quiet, and surprisingly large The staff were amazing and so hospitable

I’d stay here again in a heartbeat

Unity Group – Keller Williams Realty

Rooms were clean and adequate Location is convenient, but not great for walking in the evening Probably not safe by yourself

shady characters walking around Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful Pool and hot tub shut down might have e been due to Indy 500 timelinehard to say Breakfast in morning was just right for price

I personally would recommend this hotel The hotel is well designed & decorated beautifully The interior is very clean, spacious, & has great lighting

They serve a wide variety of food for breakfast in the morning which include: coffee, tea, juice, fruits, bread, pancake, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, etcThere is an event center, business workspace for those who work remotely, a gym, a pool, outdoor seating, & plenty of parking just to name a fewMy only complaint is to pet owners who allow their dog to defecate on the property grounds & don’t clean up after themOwning a pet is a huge responsibility Please clean up after your dog!If not, do not check into a hotel

We travel often for our sons baseball tournaments This was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at It was clean and staff was excellent The happy hour is awesome and the breakfast is delicious!! The Mac and Cheese in the hotel restaurant is super good too

The only feedback I would leave is that they could use more staff in the kitchen during happy hour and breakfast Overall one of our favourite hotels!

Wil Malski

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had! Very nice accommodations, awesome made-to-order breakfasts, and a very generous manager’s reception in the evening with drinks and snacks Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful The pool needs to be reserved ahead of time, but that wasn’t an issue and actually worked out nicely because we didn’t have to share it with other people

Everything was clean and in great condition I will definitely look for Embassy Suites hotels going forward

An absolutely perfect stay!! I moved to the area after being transferred for work and stayed here for 5 weeks waiting for an apartment to open up The entire property was spotless and well tended to The interior was clean and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant

The room I stayed in was immaculate Every detail was tended to and very clean They changed the garbage, towels and checked the room every single day The staff asked if I needed anything every time I passed through the lobby They changed the sheets each week or sooner, if I asked The price was very reasonable, from paying for an entire month in advance, plus the few single days on each end of my stay! For what they offer and the attention they pay to the guests, you won’t find a better deal!! I enjoyed my stay very much!!! I would definitely recommend to anyone need to stay in the area

The good, the bad and the smelly I booked this hotel online and thought it said pet free, smoke free Unfortunately, for us as we have allergies, they allow pets in every room

It stinks no matter how they may try to clean it For someone traveling with a pet, you would probably love it here Dog barking everytime you walk down the hallway was not pleasant Breakfast was great Lots of healthy choices Staff is friendlyHotel is only a few years old and already looks beaten down in bathroom vanity area Would we stay here again? My wife and I had a fantastic getaway to Indy for a long weekend The hotel is ideally located near great dining options and lots of fun activities The staff was very friendly and helpful

There is a nice common area next to the lobby with a bar It was perfect for socializing with friends before heading up to the room for the night The rooms are clean, nice, and have a mirror positioned right next to the bed that can be lots of fun if you are staying with your special someone

Victoria Wilkinson

Unless someone else is paying for your room, you require epic views from a high-rise, or you absolutely can’t leave the building where your event is being held, save your money and sleep somewhere elseThere’s nothing special about this hotel beyond the location and the excellent room views Oh, and the post-shower robe they provide is pretty fluffy, if that’s important to you

The gym is spacious, with good views and free water and towels But there’s no pool or hot tub Apparently there hasn’t been one since it went under renovations before the pandemic, but the elevator sign still lists it as being on floor two The breakfast option at the Italian restaurant is a $28/plate buffet The valet is $55 overnight It may be obvious from the name, but this is not a place to go for value

Daniel Cloyd

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of the best in this area

Good thing you have the membershipThe hotel appeared nice but it was dirty, the carpet along the tile was coming up The tile near the elevators was also crackingThe room was clean enough; it had a full kitchenthe chair had stains on the Cushions, along with the bedding comforter having stains which appeared to look like dried bloodThe bed sheets were clean, the shower and toilet is separate from the sink, the handle to the door was looseThe floor was okay cleaned but appeared the housekeeper was rushingThis place was worth the stay as it was free but I wouldn’t pay money to sleep hereThe morning breakfast was normal contemporary but they didn’t have oatmeal The gravy was horrible! The best food was the waffle we cooked for ourselvesThis place could use new management, one who cares about quality and cleanliness However I wouldn’t expect anything better than what we got from a Hilton!

Our shower didn’t work properly, there was no dish soap or hand soap in our kitchenette – so if washing hands you had to get the bar of soap from the bathroom, we had less than half a roll of paper towels and no extra rolls of toilet paper for a family of four I realize everyone is on a budget these days, but the room didn’t have a budget discount Having to ask for everything was a hassle

The staff was friendly and the location was nice, but I would probably pick a different hotel next time I’m in Indy

Edit to my update and listing of 5 Stars:Update to an update about the billing issue, since editedI called back today (8/13) and spoke with Jared Jared listened to understand my concern and has restored my faith in Hilton’s customer service ability

Chalk Jared up for promotion too Thank you for the great stay and customer relation experienceOriginal review July 31, 2022The great – staff is wonderful “Vinson” goes above and beyond He helped us get acquainted with the hotel and gave us a brief tour of the facility, and told us about the historical significance of the locationThe hotel is combined with Hampton Hampton is on the street end (above Starbucks), and Homewood is on the backside (along the canal) A little confusing at firstThe drawback: Parking is limited The cost is $32/day to park in the garage or pay more for valet There is NO street parking nearbyThe garage is located between Hampton and Homewood (hotels are connected on the 1st floor and above)The hotel location is perfect for sightseeing, university, or professional events There is much to do and see, and all within walking distanceTo close, as I started, Vinson (evening maint manager?) was the highlight for us He is a great ambassador for the hotel and its brand He went above and beyond to assist us Promote and retain this man He is the employee others should emulate

We loved ALMOST everything about this hotel The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for my husband and I to take my tween granddaughter The kitchen had everything we needed

The staff were wonderful The breakfast was surprisingly good with lots of choicesThe only thing I didn’t like was the shower The floor of both bathroom showers were messed up and rusty I would not use the showers and that’s the reason for only 4 stars for the room

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any hotel This site will compare countless booking web sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of the best in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t be let downThe hotel was beautiful and a perfect location for all of the activities my family planned to enjoy while visiting downtown Indy The room was clean and the staff helpful My favorite part ended up being the down time I had with my two year old daughter We spent some time in the beautiful lobby while finishing my coffee The two gentlemen that were greeters, bellmen as well, Freddie Mac and Matt, were awesome They visited with us and even brought out a few activities to entertain my two-year-old Much appreciated so I could relax with a cup of coffee It is nice to still feel the midwestern hospitality in a bigger city environment

We came for a game at Lucas Oil, this hotel was perfect location it was probably a 5-10 min walk, and very close to multiple bars and restaurants for great night life great location for people looking to make a fun weekend out of indy and want to stay downtown

Rooms were old school luxury the bed was comfortable and the room was more spacious than we anticipated great place for couples and the hotel bar was crowded so great place for folks who like night life would definitely stay again

I came to Indianapolis for a conference and booked this hotel as it was just a little more affordable compared to the hotels nearby The staff were friendly, gym was small but clean, room was clean (no microwave) I especially liked the cafe downstairs that had affordable bagels and coffee (everything else was expensive)

Location is at a great place! Walkable distance to the conference hall and to the nearby eateries and bars downtown Other hotels (like the Marriott) although close to the conference hall are just a little further from these restaurants!
