I love this hotel It is literally my home away from home I live in North Carolina and commute weekly to my job in a Boston suburb

I used to stay at the Westwood Courtyard until I found this gem The Hilton is relatively new It is clean and modern The staff is friendly and helpful; they all know me on a first name basis and always try to go the extra mile Ahmed, the manager actually texts me after check-in and at least once during my stay to make sure everything is okay The restaurant has a good selection of quality food at reasonable prices The gym is well equipped (I need to use it more often!) This is by far the best hotel in the area

Liz Hallenbeck

10/10! Perfect location if you want to be close to the city without paying the $ for hotels in the cityPool is great, and the courtyard is gorgeous- the fire places gives off a good amount of heat for being fake fixturesThe day of- text messages for any accommodations before arrival Super smooth check-in, staff was readily available for needs, Mike was an excellent bar tender & created a great atmosphere

There was bunny shaped pancakes for Easter! How freaking cute?

Great location, great value! Extremely clean Didn’t saved money paying for parking online ahead of stay A little less variety of breakfast to me without any sweet to go with coffee for my two day stay

Did not give 5 stars because no pool/hot tub and breakfast close at 9:15 not said 9:30 Around 9 I waited and waited for scramble eggs and I finally had to ask for them to bring out Everything else, including the view from the top floor lounge, was top notch!

falah madadha

Great hotel experience Stayed here 8 nights and couldn’t have asked for more from checkin to room size Great harbor views, nice neighborhood to walk/run in

The gym is extra clean and spacious with a nice rooftop lounge for good viewsThe breakfast is rather basic but it’s free so no complaints Room doors tend to be loud when closing automatically but this is common at hotels Overall would highly recommend it for business or pleasure

Jasmine Price

I’m on my way home after staying here for 5 days We initially booked another hotel but decided on the Hyatt Seaport because of they had a better view of the harbor We definitely recommend this hotel! It was comfortable, clean, and all the staff were amazing!!! We recommend booking the rooms with a harbor view (see photo), it’s definitely worth it for the view and the extra space (since we are a family do five!) I also liked the fact that we were within 20 minute walk from everything! Next time we are in Boston, we will stay here again!!

The check in process was really annoying Since I booked this though another portal, there was an error & I did not get the check-in instructions There’s no lobby/ receptionists so calling the help line at 11PM was not fun

It took about 20 minutes on the phone to get the codes to my room and the buildingThe studio room is spacious and looks just like the photos Great room to have if you need a work station The bathroom is small but clean and updated ( note only a shower, no tub) The bed was comfortable but the sheets felt like paper, scratchy and cheap There was a mini fridge, kettle and coffee station that was usefulLocation is great and very walkable, hidden between the other brownstones A lovely neighborhood to walk around, eat & shop Despite those great things, I would not stay here again mainly due to the sheets and small bathroom

Emerald

Hotel will not let you check in before 4 pm even though they list you can pay a fee to check in at 1 This is not a boutique hotel as advertised Everything is remote like a vending machine

No staff At this point it would be better to just go find a traditional chain hotel or nice local Airbnb owned by a Bostonian rather than some faceless entity

Jonathan Little

My wife and I stayed in the penthouse unit “Stellar Queen Room w/ Balcony” and enjoyed our stay The location makes it a wonderful spot for exploring the walkable Back Bay neighborhood with tons of food and shopping options The unit has its own private rooftop deck which had great views toward Boylston St

This property has no staff (imagine it as a rental on VRBO or AirBnB), though there is a cleaning crew that tidies up common areas and rooms after a guest checks out We let ourselves into the property with a code that was emailed to us, and leaving was as easy as closing the door behind us WiFi was decently fast and reliable There is no TV service, but a Roku is provided for using our own streaming accounts Parking was at the Prudential Center a few blocks away at $44 per 24 hours

Had an awesome stay here for an overnight work trip At check-in, I had Daniela – we chatted about the countries she’s lived in, best restaurants to try nearby, and things I’d be interested in doing She gave me the heads up about the renovated fitness center (which was the best I’ve had at a hotel) and swapped me to a room on a higher floor with this view

Fantastic experience with her and my stay overall Walking distance to central square, great room, had a very nice experience here

Gabriela Contreras

It was snowing outside, looks to me that the hotel was either being renovated or it was under a kind of construction but it didn’t matter I had a couple of good night sleep, the king size bed was very comfortable, sheets soft and warm, bathroom was clean and well organized, shower a little small, you can’t take a shower with your partner since there is only room for one On that weekend there was not real food but only a small deli menu that I didn’t try, I really don’t know if it was because the storm going on or because the lack of kitchen employees because the pandemic

The few employees that I had contact with were polite and helpful

Eric Oporto

My normal hotels were not close by when I visited Boston for two nights to see a concert, so I decided to try Hyatt instead—and I’m so pleased I did! The staff went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant and memorable as possible, despite the hotel being fairly busy In particular, the check-in ladies operating the member’s lane were outstanding Everything felt considerate, from trying to open up a room with extra early check-in despite initially only asking to have my bags stored to switching my reservation for a much better accommodation with a balcony

Although it was too hot to stroll outside, all of my ride shares were inexpensive and the valet team provided cold water whenever I exited the hotel

Great hotel! While the area doesn’t have the most to offer, the hotel is great for a night or two Room was clean, room fixtures and furniture were in great condition The room layout, at least in my experience, was a little awkward, with the bed pointed toward the window

This meant that all of the furniture was on the side of the room, adjacent to the bed, rather than directly across Props though for the innovative solution to make the TV visible, a sliding tray attached to the dresser, and a pivoting stand for the TV While it didn’t provide a full view, it definitely helped Also, took a few minutes to find where the fridge was I’m used to them being in the dresser unit, however this room had a coffee/tea station on the opposite side of the sink in the corridor to the bathroom Also, in built room closet, it was a standalone unit which took up quite a bit of space One thing that irked me was the inability to find the in room safe While I wound up not needing it, usually I like to know where it is just in case Pillows on the bed were also lackluster, literally collapsing to flat once I laid down All together, great stay, quality room, decent sleep achieved Would stay here again, as long as the price is fair

Miranda Daniels

Staff was nice and welcoming The room was clean and fully stocked The bed and pillows were comfortable, the water pressure was great, the body wash/shampoo/conditioner bottles were full, coffee was great, decor was nice, a/c worked perfectly

Only downsides are that there’s no microwaves in the room and they charge $5 each for bottles of water Nice quiet area with lots of food places nearby

Jessica Ondrof

They were having issues with their computers which led to a lengthy check in and our party having to take a more expensive room than what we booked It was really frustrating but staff was extremely apologetic and took care of the issue the next morning I know it’s not the staff’s fault so I want to give five stars because their response definitely rectified the issue and made our experience better

The room itself was clean and comfortable, no complaints about that Especially appreciative of the staff member who showed up off the clock to try to help the other associates during check in- didn’t get his name but he was in pjs and then checked me out in the morning Give that man a raise

Love coming here and seeing a lot familiar faces Sitting at the bar is one of the ways to treat myself and my friends The menu is always fantastic and the service is always above and beyond

I’ve been staying at this hotel for years this is my first time back since covidThey have done away with conciergeThey can no longer get doctors to the hotel, every other four seasons I stay at as a house doctor and conciergeThe irons are appalling, so cheap used to be good

Breakfast room now on the 2nd floor same view yet much smaller If you are on a table of 2 you have to sit on a tiny table in a small bar The chairs in the breakfast room are ikea like moulded uncomfortable chairsRooms as always are fantastic and housekeeping staff are exceptionalRoom service the only word to describe it is ‘overpriced shite’Cheap poor coffee shop on the first floorThey have thee most American thing ever a glass door called the vault… full of free candy and chips something more accustomed to a Marriott rewards customerNot the standard it used to be by a country mile Great location and facilities the health club is still fantastic The prices if anything have gone up yet the services have gone drastically downhill

Sam Faden

I have stayed here many times pre-Covid and cannot say one bad thing about this FS location From the ambiance, to the charm, to the service, and comfort, I always feel at home The fresh arrangement of flowers in the lobby that are refreshed quite frequently are a great bonus too

I recently had to cancel a reservation I booked due to circumstances out of my control and used the new texting feature which was seamless from start to finish Thank you, Lucas, behind the texts, for your swift responses and extraordinary help I cannot wait to rebook very soon

The room was spotless The beds were very comfortable The kitchen had everything you’d need to prepare a meal (I didn’t use it except to make instant noodles, though)

The room was just pretty modern in general Breakfast tasted normal The staff was friendly The pool was a little small, but it was warm and clean I didn’t go to the gym, so I can’t say anything about it However, the location wasn’t the best Most of the landmarks in Boston are pretty far away

Kelly

Our 4 night stay has been amazing, we leave tomorrow and it’s sad to have it end Breakfast was great every morning, the room is spotless, valet is quick, housekeeping is friendly, and the view is breathtaking (Room 851 is magnificent)! It’s so close to everything you could want to do in Boston This place helped make our trip to Boston awesome

Deborah Raskin

Beautiful hotel, rooms are nice Sheets on the bed are too small, they keep sliding off, very annoying But bed is comfortable and pillows are good

The main area is cold with the exterior door opening at the same time the interior door opens, so bring a sweater to breakfast The food is good, coffee is hot and all the staff was terrific, very helpful and kept everything full and tables cleanIf you like to work out, the gym is fully equipped and very clean The pool is very small so during a busy time it’s more a place to lean against a wall, not to swim for exercise The valet parking is good, all valet staff we dealt with were very nice The drop off area is poorly designed, too tight High chance to bump into another carUber service in the area is terrific, thanks to all the guys for the timely pick up and drop offWe will return to see some more of Boston in warmer weather Thank you to all staff at the hotel

We have been going to this place for YEARS and it is great The staff is great and always so kind The rooms are absolutely beautiful and cleaned

The location is okay but it is located next to a little highway so it can be noisy The food is amazing stop by the Bistro for some great food and the buffet in the morning is great and has much to choose from Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes!

Roshanda Turner

We stayed for a couple days during school vacation, looking to have something for our girls to do The hotel was immaculate, the pool was clean and the hot tub was hot! And everything was open and staffed We had the breakfast buffet which was included in our room

It was way more than we expected and one of the reasons we will be back There was something for everyone from oatmeal to a staffed omelets bar and fresh fruit smoothie The girl swim and had a blast it was the perfect staycation!

We stayed here for my daughter’s 8th grade graduation trip The place was nice and clean Our issues were with the very poor front desk staff that did not help

I was fraudulently charged for “damages” there were no damages to the room I had a police report stating such we hadn’t even checked out yet, and did not request housekeeping I was very upset and yelling when I was told I was charged $500 for damages (there were none) and even offered a video of proof the night shift front desk were rude and unhelpful I asked them to call the cops so that they could go up and look at the room with me, since the front desk refused to do so The cops could not find damage and felt bad for telling us we had to leave because the teenagers left to run the place at night said so I was in such disbelief in how this was handled I was exhausted at 11:00 at night after a day in cape cod I was met with an attitude and accusations, instead of apologies and solutions This has been the worst hotel stay experience of my entire life! I will never again stay at a Hyatt hotel! We did finally get someone who was apologetic (not any of the hotel management staff but the accounting department) and he refunded the extra money taken out I was offered nothing to rectify the situation, like the amount of the hotel room for the night we were forced to leave All and all this was a nightmare hotel! Good luck to those who choose to stay here!

Sharon Doyle

The room is spacious and roomy It feels inviting and fresh The bathroom is very accommodating and open

The layout of the room makes it feels more like a suite There is no microwave in the room though The complimentary breakfast consists of: eggs, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, sausage, apples, pears, oranges and more The breakfast room is large and accommodates many people The hotel is near the train station (less than 10 minute drive) The pool is under construction now too

Brian Kelley

My room wasn’t clean, the toilet was running all night, and the refrigerator was broken During the same stay, my colleague experienced an issue where they accused him of smoking in his room He’s never smoked and recently went through a drug test and screening for an upcoming surgery

The Hotel was a nice place in 2018-19 and seems to either have new management or just a bunch of people who don’t care I would recommend staying somewhere else If you stay here, take a defensive stance, take photos of your room, and document things during your stay You never know what they’ll accuse you of after you leave

Reasonably priced Wonderful to have a kitchen and a target across the street with a Starbucks Hubby was a bit disappointed with breakfast options

Only reason for 4 stars is because there were a few things in our room (203) that weren’t 100%: toilet paper holder is loose so TP fell into trash can or In floor Living room black out curtains didn’t close & towel rack on outside of shower glass came off

Alyssa V

Overall this was a decent hotel and is literally just steps to Fenway There’s lots of amenities like a laundry room, rooftop pool, rooftop bar and lounge area, and a workout roomThe room I had was also fairly nice and it had a full kitchen

I had one or two small issues with the door, the shower, and the lights, but it was all pretty minor and didn’t affect me too much The one thing I didn’t care for was the noise; the doors are really heavy and you can hear them shutting in the hallway which was annoying

Joanne Grieco

Love this hotel – the one bedroom suites give you the best combo of space, kitchenette and cost of any hotel in Boston Super convenient to the Longwood Medical area, contemporary vibe and friendly staff Full breakfast included, and a rooftop terrace for city viewing with a cocktail

No restaurants on site, but the area has many wonderful choices Pet friendly! Will definitely return

The actual hotel was lovely, the room was clean, the staff was amazing But DO NOT eat or drink at this hotel One of the night desk employees went on and on about how amazing the breakfast was, online it said it was 20 a person

My family was on board to try it We got there at 830, on the weekends they open at 8 The food was BARELY warm It was powered eggs, bacon, sausage and some potatoes The pastries were are frozen and thawed The “chef special” was perhaps the grilled zucchini? It was a pitiful breakfast spread The coffee literally assaulted my mouth it was so burnt and bitter Than the second pot was a watery mess They brought us the bill and it was 31 bucks an adult and 10 for my 6 year old I spent 100 bucks on a breakfast spread that was no better than the free breakfast at a comfort inn And the wine prices?! Holy hell 2 glasses of wine cost over 55 dollars! And we didn’t get super fancy wine I looked up the prices on both and I basically paid for the price of the bottle with one glass Not worth the money I literally bought a 1299 for a bottle of wine that tasted just as good Great hotel, horrible pricing on mediocre food

I booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool and hot tub While the room was as expected, bed comfortable

the pool left MUCH to be desired Bottom line, it was gross The pool water was brown legit brown Not to mention the yellow scum-line The hot tub was the same but be sure to add the floating hair balls and no joke, large sand/dirt granules covering the bottom As if it has never been vacuumed So disgusted and disappointed! All that said, the pool gets 0 stars (negative if that were possible) but the front desk staff were very nice, helpful at check in Oh, and paying almost $50/night for parking on top of the room charge is ABSOLUTE RIDICULOUS!! If I wanted to get real petty, I could also mentioned that the TV had no guide so you have to click into each channel to see what’s on Ugh Probably will NOT stay here again sure I can find something better than this in BostonI do not recommend this hotel if you are interested in the pool area

I absolutely love this hotel in Boston Staff are extremely helpful, and rooms and amenities are kept pristine The food served in the restaurant is excellent, and we grabbed several pizzas from there throughout our stay

Next to the check in area, there is a great place for cold food and snacks as well as a professional coffee machine Hilton diamond members get $18 credits per person per day for up to two people This means you are able to use your credit on any snacks or restaurant foodI really like that they have an indoor pool which is excellent and a pretty good sizeThey have four elevators that are really fast, and the close and open door buttons are extremely responsive The elevators have glass windows pointing inwards so that you could see the entire hotel as you go up and downOne of the best parts is that they have a free shuttle bus every hour that will take you to certain locations This is excellent if you need to be dropped off near the Harvard area and I don’t want to deal with finding an Uber or LyftOverall, this was a great hotel and a great experience and I would stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay at Clarendon Inn! My husband and I celebrated our twentieth anniversary in Boston and chose it because of the romance factor It’s not a bed and breakfast, however, they do set out some snacks each day and offer a great coffee set up in your room They also offer a good list of close-by food options

The room was beautiful! The hot tub was unforgettable! The host was really nice and knowledgeable I would say if you have mobility issues this might not be the best for you as far as lots of steps

Just returned from a weekend in Boston after visiting my son, who recently moved to the area I stayed at The Clarendon Square B&B, and it was the best! The location, right on the cusp of Back Bay and the South End, was perfect Within walking distance of most everything

Upon arrival, the entrance was exactly as pictured, so there was no confusion as to how to enter Stephen was very thorough with the keyless entry points I hadn’t used the app that he requested I download ahead of time, and it was quite seamless So easy to use and saved having to carry a key around, although one was available, should I prefer The main floor was quite something It was quite apparent that a lot of love (and money) had been put into the renovation Just beautiful! I requested a higher floor and was given a room on the fourth floor There was no elevator, so my son carried my luggage up to the top floor, however, Stephen would’ve been more than willing had my son not been there Once my luggage was in my room, Stephen showed us the rooftop with a hot tub It was amazingWished I had taken my swimsuit I contemplated going back up there one night after I got back from dinner but never did I bet at night, with the lights of the city shining bright, the view is fantastic! The room was outstanding The bathroom had been recently renovated and was laid out nicely The body products smelled delish! The room was quite spacious, and it had a pour over coffee service, as well as a high end selection of teas Because the breakfast portion of the program had not been reintroduced due to Covid, the room included oatmeal and waffles that were quite tasty There was a fridge stocked with various beers, wine and champagne for purchase as well Bananas and cookies were also always available in the shared space The only negative, which I hate to even say since everything else was so perfect, was that the A/C was central and not in each room I believe it was set at 69 or 70 degrees, which is great during the day, but is much too warm for me at night I tend to sleep in a room that is closer to 62-64 degrees Thankfully, there was a ceiling fan in the sitting area of the room, so that was helpful I would highly recommend staying at the Clarendon Square B&B, just a great experience

My Mum and I arrived at Clarendon Inn for a Christmas break and stayed from Christmas eve to Boxing Day and we were treated almost like royalty It was a Christmas that we will never forget We were so well looked after, the hostess was just lovely and so attentive

The room and house exceeded expectations, especially with its beautiful tree and festive decor A real highlight was sitting in the rooftop hot tub overlooking Boston on Christmas night, it was just magical It was so easy to walk into town and the get about from the B&B Breakfast was lovely and there was always tea and cookies out throughout the day If we ever make it back to Boston we will 100% be making a return visit Thanks again for everything 😊

We stayed for three nights in April over our kids’ Spring Break We got adjoining rooms (no way we’re going to cram our two teens into one room with us!) The rooms were normally-sized for a normal hotel

Overall clean and the room amenities were averageThe A/C was loud, as others have mentioned I am getting tired of figuring out how to work the thermostat in hotel rooms; it should work *exactly* like the thermostats in my home: set a temp and let it go Not so much here, nor in most other hotelsParking was a slight pain as there is none; it’s all valet parking While they were fantastic, there were several times we had to wait 10-15 minutes for our car, even after calling down ahead of time per their instructionsThe location is nice Only a ~10 minute drive to downtown and the historic areas, as well as Fenway ParkOverall not perfect, but very good

Dale Betterton

Nice hotel Nice staff Restaurant great for dinner, breakfast disappointing (bagel was burned and cold – the best combination)

Biggest complaint: the energy saving auto-off timer on the bathroom lights is idiotically dangerous Every day the lights would turn off in the middle of my shower The staff said they are aware of the issue, but didn’t provide a fix I showered with the bathroom door open throughout my stay so I could still see when the lights turned off

Lan Wu

The location is great I stayed there two nights to visit an inpatient family member I only took me 10 mins walk to get to the hospital

The complains are mainly from the parking:1 As many mentioned, the valet parking is quite expensive, $40/night2 Personal item inside of my car got lost/stolen while parking there: I left a pair of sunglasses on the passenger seat They were pretty new and from a luxury brand I did not use my car during my entire stay By the time I picked up my car, my sunglasses were not there When I called to ask, they directed me to a lost and found line, and of course they were not found! So be sure to put away your personal items/valuables inside of your car before handing it to them!

The room was clean, the shower was HOT, the bed was comfy, and the Breakfast was YUMMY!The cheese omelet, the potatoes, and especially the maple turkey sausage was cooked perfectly, forcing us to go for secondsMike (night clerk) was super friendly and accommodating to my room requestsMarco (in charge of coffee and welcome cookies) constantly brewed fresh coffee, put cold cream, and baked yummy chocolate cookies

Dana (Director of Sales) was very attentive to all guests He gladly printed bunch of emails for guests, and swiftly took care of refunds when I accidentally double bookedThis was one of my favorite stays in Boston I will definitely come back to this property

Paul Hastings

Hands down, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had Complimentary breakfast was awesome, and they even had a complimentary shuttle that will take you anywhere within a four-mile radius of the hotel, including the subway stationIncredibly convenient!Room had a fridge a microwave too

Also, we got a free copy of the newspaper every morning (USA Today)Finally, the reception desk was super helpful We needed a box for our flight back (to check as luggage at the airport to take home some extra stuff we picked up), and they found an empty box from their kitchen and gave us some tape!Definitely will stay here again in the future

Jennifer Curcio

My family stayed here for five nights and really enjoyed it Our room was very clean and when we requested housekeeping on our third day they did a great job The breakfast was amazing with a big selection such as eggs, meat, waffles, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, breads, and they put out a different selection every day

There is a complimentary coffee station and they put out warm chocolate chip cookies in the evening We selected this hotel in Braintree for its indoor pool but unfortunately there was an issue with it for the first two days of our stay They did get it fixed and we enjoyed it The hotel is in an industrial area and doesn’t have pretty views, but if you are looking for a clean hotel with a pool and breakfast, this is a good choice I didn’t give it five stars because of the pool issue

The hotel was conveniently and directly across from the convention center for the Boston Seafood Expo where I was attending the show The colors and ambience were beautiful and welcoming What really blew me away was the expectational, accommodating, welcoming and truly over the top treatment and customer service by the staff

Everyone went above and beyond in making me feel truly welcome and at home Please consider giving Manny and Nicole a raise They do an amazing job at the front desk and made my experience with this hotel that much better Keep up the great work and Thank you guys for everything!-Ken Le

This was a great hotel! The service from check-in to check-out and everything in the middle was superb When we ordered from the bar, they brought our food order out to the pool deck for me to carry up to the room! The fishbowl drinks were super yummy both of them

Strongly recommendedThe beds were the best of our trip and the rooms are modern and well appointedThe location is right next to the convention center While we weren’t actually attending something at that venue, it was a relatively short walk (1-2 miles) from the hotel to everything we wanted to do as tourists The only time we had to drive was to the science museumParking carries a fee ($28/day) However, you get in/out privileges via a QR code on your phone No keeping track of a ticketAt one point my wife had a headache and I needed to find some ibuprofen The hotel partnered with the hotel across the way to help me get some once again, superb service

Gadi Glogowski

My room was like an open concept with an open bathroom (sliding door for the toilet) It was a modern and clean room with a view to the park across the roadThe location was great if you are looking close to the convention center or anything near the airport

The staff was friendly and the check-in process was speedyThere is free coffee and tea in the morning A bar is available every night There is a Brazilian restaurant connected to the hotel
