Brittany

Great location and very nice staff The hotel is kept clean, they clean A LOT, housekeeping is coming almost everyday lol The hotel is packed right now due to the recent storm of Hurricane Ida but the people are nice

The noise from the rooms can travel some (thin walls) but it’s overall not too noisy Breakfast is a decent hot breakfast, I would stay here again!

Eric England

The room was great, the breakfast was great, the housekeeping staff was loud Be warned, If you’re working a night shift – this is not the place for you The house keeping staff is required to enter your room at a minimum of one time every 5 days

They will not work with you regarding the time I requested that my room be the last room serviced and was woken up at 2PM every 5 days (hurts when you’re working 5PM – 6AM!)

Shawn Thomas

My family and I are checking out today the hotel had a bad ant problem that they refused to address Also, my son was traumatized by seeing the police called on a young lady with a baby We didn’t get the whole story but she was very upset and talking loud

Apparently the hotel staff was harassing her about leaving late My son asked me “why are the police here? What did they do?” I simply just had to explain to him about being black in this country I’ve had similar conversations but he’s only 7 and has never seen it happen in person The front desk workers and manager who did that should be fired We’re going to the Fairfield next door

When we got in our room they had it warmed up for us Room also had a great smell! As two women alone traveling we felt very safe with gated entry The staff was so kind and helpful as well

Everything was clean and we loved all the outside amenities provided (Firepit, tables, covered lounge area) We truly enjoyed our stay while visiting to see Tool concertFront desk even recommended great bar and grill that stayed open until 3am and we had a great time there as well

susan hoffpauir

This place was great Gentleman at front desk was courteous and quickly checked us in He also advised he gave us upgrade due to membership

Place was clean and quiet despite being right next to interstate Would definitely stay again Only negative and not so much a negative but was unaware is they charge $50 deposit even even when paying with cc

Yesenia Ochoa

The hotel is okay, for the price Our room smelled a bit like mold, the bathroom door was broken, and the bathroom fan did not work I asked the front desk if I could switch rooms and they were super helpful and understanding

I opted for keeping my room as both the rooms had the same issues Breakfast was hot and pool was great, I was the only one swimming every morning (note, pool opens from 9am to 9pm) Overall, not too bad I would stay here again

visited Son and Daughter-in-law for weekendwe like to stay on Hotel room due to schedule differenceour first visit to the New Orleans areaThe Alder, great place to staygood beds, excellent staff, clean, walk-in shower, all good we plan on using this as our base in future visitsVery nice restaurants one block from hotel on Ferret street24 hour security, well lite parking area and free parkingThe best in room coffee I have ever hadWe will be back

Elizabeth Felder

Whoever commented within a year to 18 months had to be a friend family member or a paid employee/person to make false statements only to bring business to this hotel People just visit and do a eye assessment yourself as you walk up to the building entering the building the smell walls floors I will not settle for poor treatment

I’m still here for the one night stay Going elsewhere Over a hundred to two hundred a night to stay in a garbage smell hotel I couldn’t sleep almost 6am Getting ready to leave once daylight hits I loved visiting this hotel in the past Me and My daughter put carpet fresh down with a plug-in to help with the order But still paying out of pocket for services should have been completed before my arrival

Steven Duttine, Jr

For $650 for three nights I was expecting room service to tidy the room and replace towels while we were visiting Bourbon street; I guess not We paid ahead before coming and there was a $50 holding fee that would be “refunded” The entry smells moldy, no breakfast even though the website showed pics of some

Parking lot is not wheel chair friendly Beds are very firm and sink fixtures rusty and crooked Parking lot looks to have night security and the view from the balcony is very nice

Ray is a first rate host and the location is ideal!! So many walkable restaurants and Garden District exploration as well as a short walk to the streetcar stops for a quick easy ride to the quarter Ray provides helpful information for transportation and favorite restaurant lists Will recommend to friends and stay our next time in town

Beverlee Keasling

This was by far the most amazing stay I have ever had Not only was the B&B spotless, but it had such a homey feel The hostess was so sweet and provided us with so much info on the best restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc

She even provided me with Taxi numbers when we got stranded downtown in the rain They were literally the best When we make our way back down to New Orleans we WILL stay again

Ashley Miranda

I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I visit Not only is the house itself and its accommodations absolutely beautiful, the hosts are truly wonderful people We felt welcomed and at home right away

I had a family emergency and needed to cancel a room for the FINAL FOUR, a night where the room could’ve been booked by someone else for such a high demand event Couldn’t cancel with FindHotel, had to call the hotel and was lied to by Ron Ron wouldn’t return my phone call after telling me they’d “look into it”

Left messages, nothing I’m out $600 for a room I didn’t use that could’ve easily been rebooked by someone else Lack of customer service from both FindHotel and Residence Inn will keep me away from these businesses for future bookings for myself and my company The lack of empathy/customer service for such an easy fix is incredible I’ll be disputing this charge with my credit card company

We had the BEST time staying at Sully Mansion this past weekend! My husband and I stayed here after our wedding for two nights My favorite accommodations of any place I’ve stayed! Our room was clean, private, and beautifully decorated We had trouble with the lock when we first arrived at 10:30 pm so had to call the manager, but she answered right away and was super helpful

A congratulatory card and chocolate were waiting for us in our room, such a sweet touch! The breakfast was better than expected, the fresh pressed orange juice was delicious, and the owner herself is the one serving it all, which made it even better The happy hour in the afternoon is so fun and the front porch is such a peaceful, relaxing spot We can’t wait to come back and stay in some of the other rooms, which we were lucky enough to get a tour of while staying It is all so beautiful and we can’t wait to come back!

Janet Hamilton Petersen

The perfect home base in New Orleans We visited during a hot week (high 90s every day), and the inn is well cooled and refreshing Easy access to the St Charles streetcar

Many great cafes and shops within easy walking distance through the beautiful neighborhood Gracious front porch offers two different shady seating areas, plus other space around the property inside and out to relax and readBed was very comfortably firm, and towels are plush! Scrumptious breakfast always included protein, fruit and bread, as well as fresh orange juice Self serve happy hour and coffee and snacks available

Jamie Baleno

Amazing B&B in the Garden District Such a peaceful place away from the business of the French Quarter but close to Magazine Street and the street car Tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance but all you hear are the crickets at night

Kaitlyn was a wonderful hostess during our time here My only regret is we could not stay longer We had our 2 teenage children with us and the Bourbon room was plenty big enough for us with a large armoire and dressing area and bathroom Beautiful and immaculate kept property with an interesting history We very much enjoyed the breakfast, daily happy hour and tea/water/coffee provided We will definitely stay here again next time!

Front staff is amazing The cleaning staff is amazing We had multiple issues and they were all taken care of immediately

Even with the NCAA tournament going on One star down because everything was dated and old However, keep in mind that it was still clean Meaning the staff was doing whatever they can to keep something old and falling apart in the best shape possible Kudos!

Natalie G

Honestly, this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at The staff was super friendly and helpful, it is a good location right next to the Mississippi river and has easy access to highways to get on the road It’s in a good area

I was worried about the area when I booked it cuz you never know, but I felt very safe at this hotel!! Our room was comfortable and had a cute little kitchenette I wish our stay was longer at this hotel, it fit our needs perfectly

Collette Brown

Size of the room was nice for my family of four Could’ve used more lighting The hotel was pet friendly with several areas available for elimination needs

It seemed to be busy, but I didn’t hear the other guests when I was in my room, so rooms seemed to be well insulated My only complaint was the lack of explanation and immediate resolution of the additional two charges for my room totaling $309

Where-is-Nemo

I’m giving this 5-stars but with the caveat that it be compared to other hotels of similar caliber The staff was extremely friendly, and the room was very VERY clean The breakfast was tasty, ample, and well-stocked and the coffee was delicious

I was a bit confused why the coffee in the room was not replaced each day but that’s fine as it’s available downstairs 24/7 There was always enough parking and the area is very safe to walk outside to the Whole Foods if necessary I did not use the pool or workout facility but noted them as being well above average, appreciating that while the pool is considered ‘outdoors’, it is covered so that you can even swim if it’s raining outsideI plan to always stay here when in town Really impressed–especially for the price paid

Unk

Room was clean and comfortable Bathroom was spacious and the staff at checking were great It’s in a solid area with abundant variety of restaurants

They lose that star for the lackluster breakfast It has got to be one of the most pathetic things I have ever seen at a Marriott Guys, you are a top tier hotel chain that charges a premium rate You can provide a better breakfast for your clients than hard boiled eggs in a ziplock bag and gas station sandwiches, just sayingAlso pack ear plugs While it’s not the noisiest hotel in the world you definitely hear every door shut as they slam hard for whatever reason

Leurc Efil

I’ve stayed here multiple times over this past year, and everyone from the manager, to the front desk agents, to housekeeping has been nothing short of amazingly kind and accommodating The hotel is safe, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the price is right We have stayed at several other Marriotts around New Orleans and Metairie, but continuously choose to come right back to this property

Thank you for taking such great care of us!

Contrary to the prior review, our experience at The Henry Howard for our son’s wedding weekend in late April could not have been better From the year long planning and organizing through our stay experience, Suzanne and her staff were extremely helpful, kind and courteous Our guests found the hotel charming and felt well cared for during their time there

It felt like a home away from home We have promised to return to The Henry on our next trip to NOLA We highly recommend The Henry Howard for any gathering and especially a family wedding weekend Thank you Suzanne for making it all possible

T B

Don’t book your hotel block here Stayed here for a wedding, big mistake Suzanne the GM may seem nice when she is seeking your business, but she will treat your guests with the respect you’d expect at a motel

Other guests of the wedding party had similar experiences with Suzanne and from the other reviews here, it looks like her attitude is pretty consistent Also, they put the brother of the bride in a room that had unsafe conditions and didn’t offer to help him relocate to another hotel Did the bare minimumMy story:We attempted to check in early and were kindly told by the hotel staff that it wasn’t ready We asked for an estimate and they didn’t know Suzanne came out immediately with a negative tone to tell us that we had to wait Ok, we understood 3 hours went by and we decided to ask the staff kindly if there has been an update Still wasn’t ready So we waited in the bar area for some food to be delivered While minding our own business, Suzanne comes up to me telling me to stop asking when my room will be ready Her attitude was bordering harassment as no one was speaking to her and our inquiry had already been resolvedShe had the nerve to call the mother of the groom and say I would be kicked out (mind you, just for asking for an update) Unsurprisingly, other guests of the wedding party told us they also had rude encounters with Suzanne The poor bride had to hear about this the day before her wedding We are very upset with the GM and it ruined our whole stay

Check in and check out was quick and courteous We got lots of friendly advice about the area and riding the street cars from the desk guy (didn’t get his name, but drives a nice ride!) The location is right off St

Charles, right at a streetcar stopso super convenient It’s within walking distance to the WWII Museum and plenty of good food optionsThe room itself stayed cool and had all the basics (microwave, mini fridge, dresser, armoire, TV, etc) Our room has a second bed in a loft which was kind of cool The beds were comfy and we had good night’s sleep The only thing that wasn’t good was the toilet had draining issuesit took several flushes most times We informed one of the cleaners who seemed to already be aware of the issue (room #237); but was not fixed prior to our departure Oh and there’s really not a good view from any of the rooms; which wasn’t a big deal for usContinental breakfast is available and is good for what it is (English muffins, cereal, yogurt, fruit cups, etc) Nothing hot thoughWe had a great stay!

D SC

Moderately sized rooms but they had very comfortable beds Not too firm and soft enough for a side sleeper The staff was very friendly and accommodating of our needs

You could hear a little bit of noise through the door but it was quiet and I had no trouble sleepingThe staff was very accommodating when we asked to come back to our room hours later looking for some forgotten earrings They happily went with us to search and we found them!!It has a great location that made the city very accessable via the streetcar It is also near to distilleries and a number of local bars We went to the French quarter, Magazine Street and the Garden District without needing to drive

Aynzley McLaughlin

This place is a little gem hidden back and away from the chaos but close to everything Our room was spacious and comfortable The breakfast was delicious

The front desk had the ability to help make tours and schedule things as well Don’t go here (b/c is a secret) but also do go hear b/c it a wonderful place to stay when you are visiting

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a room This website will compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I’m sure! The hotel service and staff were very accommodating We had a family emergency and the hotel management handled everything and made our stay comfortable and carefree Thank you for the very clean room, hotel hospitality, good restaurant food and great customer service I will definitely visit again!!!

dolly Salcedo (Dollface)

Room was clean did have an issue with the toilet first it was leaking then it wouldn’t flush but both issues were resolved the same day Relatively close to everything, did see a lot of homeless people around the park front of hotel, cable car stop and bus stop next to hotel Overall service was good

The pool was open which was great because I had been informed after I had booked that it was closed Do wish the pool was bigger though, it was more of a watering hole size no deeper than 45 feet So there was a family the size of 9 and another group of 3 people and that pretty much took over the pool leaving no actual room for swimming

Rachel Kahler

Our initial room had a clogged sink The staff were super prompt getting maintenance to the room, and when they were unable to fix the sink, they immediately got us a new room The maintenance guys were super helpful in getting us new keys while we gathered our stuff

The bar is a great feature of the hotel The rooms themselves were pretty basic, which was what we expected They were clean and the bed was comfortable However, the toilet was a bit wobbly, which I suspect is due to replacing an old toilet with a slightly different sized one, and one of the bolt holes on the floor was slightly too big or the bolt was loose Also, the shower curtain rod was curved while the tub wasn’t No big deal, but it meant that the curtain tended to slide open on either end The curtain still kept the water in, but it made me a bit paranoid that I was making the floor wet

We love the IHG brand so we booked a 7 night stay and were so happy with the accommodations we extended another 4 nights! We had a little trouble our first night and Karin did everything she could to make it right and she DID! The rooms and baths are spacious Hotel views are lovely Beds are comfortable

I really loved staying at the Jung Hotel! Check in was easy I thought it was appropriately priced for the location, considering it is a hotel in the French Quarter I liked the layout of the hotel room

I appreciated the location of the safe – super hard to find The bathroom was also really nice, probably the most impressive bathroom I’ve ever seen in a hotel Just very modern and sleek Not having a shower door was kind of jarring but I got used to it! The only complaint I had was that the cleaning service was pretty nonexistent from what I could tell Towels were never replaced, beds were never made We were only there 3 nights so not sure if that had something to do with it Overall, great stay for the price

Aisha E

The valet staff were attentive despite their high volume, respectful and friendly The counter staff made great eye contact and very friendly and welcoming Our room had a beautiful view of the lake between the neighboring high rises

Our bed was so comfortable and the pillows invited us to deep sleep after our journey Though small the room had sufficient amenities Thanks for a great stay

I’m only writing as good because I had somewhere to lay my head at night I’m a Hilton lover and honestly thought from the images, this would come close When I checked in I got a letter saying water would be shut off for maintenance from 4-7 am

Peak times for those who get up for work right Then I was told house keeping services were limited due to Covid When walking around the floor (11th) I noticed how dated the carpet was that it was lifting up which could cause a trip hazard The gym was nice however and well equipped If you hungry while staying here, please take the time to eat somewhere else The restaurant downstairs is very very expensive and quality sucks If you enjoy old grease flavor eat there I’m really surprised that this hotel didn’t offer complementary breakfast at all Took me two days to get a mobile key after visiting the front desk 3 times Im really upset that I ordered food from downstairs but had no microwave to heat it up

Our room on the 3rd floor had no windows and a loud air conditioning unit The mattress was rock hard, nearly like sleeping on a floor The TV was at the foot of the bed on a ledge and viewing was blocked by the foot board

We had to move the desk over then place the TV on the desk There was a refrigerator in the room w a bottle of chardonnay, which was nice but this did not help sleeping For $190/night I’d expected at least a window and a comfortable bed

We took the tour of the Degas property Very interesting! Who knew Edgar was Creole on his mothers side, and spent 4 months here in 1872-3 painting amazing family portraits, and deciding where next (artistically) he wanted to take his work Plus the tour was given by one of his descendants – Joanie was very knowledgeable, insightful and humble

SUPER nice staff, specially the valet gentleman (he’s the only reason for the stars)Unfortunately I couldn’t sleep at all With the highway and Canal street on each side and windows that seemed to amplify noise rather than block it, you can hear every jerk with a modified tailpipe (every few minutes down here), every police chase at 3am, every car blasting is radio

Just as I feel asleep around 4am, and again at 4:30am, the microwave started blinking super bright in the dark room saying FOOD out of the blue for no reason waking me up againThe room decor is cold and uninviting with concrete floors They’ve replaced the cozy seating area with a makeshift kitchen strip (though the oven only stays on for second before overheating)Both plugs under the bedside lamps were having well out with live exposed wiresFirst room was hotter than the hallways or outside Even after two engineer visits, it was still 81 degrees in the room while it was 75 outside Front desk was very reluctant to move me until I said I’d be leavingSpeaking of front desk, they also wouldn’t upgrade me (gold elite) when I was first checking in even though it was mid week during a slow seasonMoved to another Marriott the night after and slept like a baby

The hotel itself was very nice I only gave 3 stars because during my stay they experienced an issue with the water Apparently ships docking affected the water pressure, resulting in NO water in my room

We couldn’t shower, toilet couldn’t flush I had to brush my teeth with water from a water bottle and no one really seemed to care They all took an, “oh well it is what it is” attitude I didn’t appreciate it; my group and myself had to leave the room for the day not feeling clean and they didn’t even offer as much as a complimentary bottle of water Smh, I understand that things happen but do better

The room was clean and overlooked Canal St The staff was pleasant The location was perfect for us since we like to get our steps in daily

We walked the entire French Quarter during our stay I am however extremely disappointed with the handling of room availability upon check-in There is a $17 per day self-parking (a block away) or $34 for valet
