The hotel was in a convenient location for our needs When we arrived, I was impressed by its cleanliness The room was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed during our stay

The staff was extremely helpful and congenial I spoke to McKenzie when I was making reservations and she was so helpful and accommodating I highly recommend this hotel and it deserves 5 stars or more!

A hidden gem on the river! I was on a roadtrip by myself to visit my son I needed somewhere to stay to breakup the lengthy drive I read other reviews and decided to give it a try

I felt safe staying here alone Waking up to the river and a wonderful complimentary breakfast in the morning was a great start to my day! Family environment and a good night’s rest

I haven’t actually stayed there yet First I tried to book a room for my friends wedding when I was told the woman I was talking to was new and didn’t know how to do that, and that she wood ask her manager and call me back, which never happened A week later after several attempts to get through on the phone, my wife was able to get the room reserved for a astronomical price for a 2 star hotel

Now our plans have changed and we would like to cancel our rooms and my wife and I have spent all day trying to get a hold of Holiday Inn Express I’m the only one that has been able to get through and was put on hold for 53 min When I hung up to call again, it would no longer go through to the front desk

We’ve stayed here three times so far Unfortunately this last stay was off-putting overall Positives: front desk staff all seem welcoming and professional

Breakfast is better than what you get at most extended stay places Rooms can be are very spacious Beds are very comfy Negatives: shower drain was slow and I had to pause showering multiple times to get me out standing in dirty water Housekeeping was poor, we had item from previous guest stay in our room (kids toy), streaks from dirty rag on all metal, glass, mirrors Blood stains on top blanket, underside Toilet seat not clean Sticky on under side of countertop edges Hand prints in elevator seen on Thursday, we’re still there on Sunday morning For a relatively fresh facility – it needs some love in the day-to-day care

Beware: if you want a good night’s sleep, rooms on the second floor are above a loud bar that has live music until after midnight! We were told that there were no other rooms that we could be moved toOther issues, there are strange white stains on the bedroom carpet, shower floor is filthy, and the pullout couch is broken Noise and vibrations from the hallway are also very audible

It’s too bad because we have stayed here in the past and had a decent experience I think the charm has worn for us off this timeAvoid the second floor

I stayed here for a night as I was attending a concert at TaxSlayer Center and this is a short walk across the streetEverything about this place was great, I have no complaints As others have mentioned, it is an old restored building and has loads of history

It has a rustic/industrial look to it and I thought it was pretty cool, considering most hotels have the same sterile look The bed was a slice of heaven, I really loved how cushy it was I had a King size studio, so it came fully equipped with a microwave, stovetop, full size refrigerator, “real” plates and glasses, kitchen utensils and forks/knives/spoons There was even a small eating area and made the kitchen and bed feel like separate spaces This unit only had a stand-up shower, but it was also fantastic The shower head is extra high and there was shampoo/conditioner and body wash in a dispenser I loved that there was a digital thermostat, as this place has standard “vents” rather than one of those huge noisy electric HVAC units Room temperature was comfortable when I walked in and never had to adjust it All of the little touches made this a genuinely great stay for meCheck-in was easy and the guy at the desk was super friendly, which was nice after a 3 hour drive down thereI was on the 6th floor and facing directly out to the train tracks, as mentioned in another review It was kinda loud, but not bad enough to “jar” me out of sleep I heard it and went back to sleep after mumbling obscenities at 4am It came by again around 8am and during the day as well, so definitely something to think about if the noise bothers you Outside of that, it was dead quiet in my room the rest of the time I only briefly heard the cleaning staff in the hallway when I arrivedParking was free and right across the street, so that was awesome as wellThis was my first time visiting Moline and between this hotel and the concert at TaxSlayer Center, it was a pretty epic experience I’ll definitely visit again in the future and when I do, I’ll stay at Element

Very nice room with a comfortable bed I didn’t take advantage of all the amenities as this room had a full kitchen with stove, microwave and full size fridge The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean

The only downside was lack of water pressure in the shower It was difficult to get a warm/hot temp and when you did the steam was weak I know a neighboring community was under a boil order at the time so I’m not sure if this had anything to do with the water issues I would definitely stay here again as everything else was great!

For this to be a “Residence” rooms are super small!! I’ve been in regular hotels that were way bigger Handicap room was on the second floor which made no sense Walls are super thin, you can smell everything everyone is cooking which becomes unpleasant

Windows and toilet leaked water When I noticed all the water coming in the Windows I noticed the windows weren’t locked! Looking out the window there’s the roof for 1st floor which would make it extremely easy for someone to just go out there window walk to another room with an unlocked window, go in your room and you would never know! LOCK YOUR WINDOWS!Room wasn’t stocked 1 bar of soap,, no bath soap,, towels are like sandpaper Yes there’s a dishwasher but no soap and no dish soap so I purchased my own Then I saw the housekeeper cart with tons of dishwasher soap, bottles of dish soap, bars of soap, makeup remover wipes, paper towels, tissue boxes,, disinfectant wipes!! Would have saved me some money if the room was actually stockedThe stove is a joke! Took over 3hrs to cook something that normally would take me 30 minutes or less to cookThe big eye barley heats up even turned up high as it could go, small eye worked better but cooks unevenly Did I mention the antsTV just randomly shuts offI guess it’s fine for 1 business person but more than that good luck Main bed, “living” room, desk, dining table, kitchen and bathroom all within 10 steps!Front desk staff is hardly at the desk A few of us had been waiting for so long one person started searching the hotel for anyone who worked there Pool is open until 10pm but staff closed it early Hotel computer and printer didn’t work Kids running in the hallways and playing on the elevatorI think it’s clear I won’t recommend nor stay there ever again

Dwayne R

I stayed here for 10 days while on business at Rock Island Arsenal Very friendly front desk people as well as the cook in the kitchen that greeted me each morning Always had a nice greeting going and arriving back each day from the hotel staff

Plenty of places to eat around the area all within about a 4 minute drive I have stayed here before about 4 or 5 years ago and will do so again if ever in the area I had a very pleasant stay!

The stay here was not the best experience I’ve ever had, not the worst but there were several issues throughout our stay Immediately upon walking in our room to the right there is a punch hole in the wall When the wind would blow outside there would be a high pitch whistle, and our room was obviously right up against the stairs

The first night we didn’t notice it, but the second night it sounded like somebody was beating on our wall almost all night We then realized the next morning that it was just people walking up and down the stairs, but it kept us up regardless The walls seem to be pretty thin because it wasn’t too hard to hear everything going on in the room on the other side of us The breakfast selection was okay if you got out early enough, but the orange juice was VERY watered down Again, not the worst place you could stay, but those were just the problems we had

Literally one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in my entire life! It’s beautiful, clean, modern, and has everything you need in it! We used the laundry room which was great! We got to swim in the pool which was clean and nice! Our double queen was clean and very comfortable I wish I could package this hotel up with me and take it along when I travel! I would definitely book here again when in town!

Rachel Martin

I was in town for work and this was where the staff were staying The location is great, close to restaurants and a strip mall for quick trips The front staff were so friendly, and the breakfast each morning was a great deal for the price with excellent service

The amenities are fantastic with a beautiful outdoor patio area, indoor pool and fitness center My room was impeccably spotless with TONS of windows for natural light, but also included blackout shades to block out the outside light I would stay here again without giving it a second thought

Tim Demming

Hands down, the best hotel room I’ve stayed in at this price Rooms are spacious and modern, shower is large, and the towels are huge (nice touch) The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the huge picture window (but the view was lacking) Everything was clean

I had a club sandwich at the restaurant and it was one of the best I had I’m looking forward to staying here again

I loved this hotel They rooms were nice, bathroom has a bidet, comfortable bed Lots of artwork all over the hotel

Staff is very friendly and helpful I would have given 5 stars however I had to have maintenance fix the air conditioner both nights I stayed here Room was to hot- air wouldn’t turn on They brought me a box fan which helped

Amy Gares

The staff was very nice, easy check in, parking right across the street, breakfast was great However the hot tub was disgusting… the sheets are like paper and if you move it’ll wake you right up The light in one of the bedrooms (we had a two room suite) turns on by itself, and some of the staff that had left that morning when getting out of the elevator completely left it smelling like pot

That was a tad disappointing Would have enjoyed the stay much more if we could have utilized the hot tub Or slept well!

Adria Mccoy

The lady at the desk on Thursday July 7th, 2022 (night lady) was amazing at answering all of our questions! The rooms are beautiful! After reading multiple upon multiple reviews of hotels in the area Home2 suites had the most positive reviews As soon as I entered into the lobby I was not disappointed The staff is so friendly and accommodating

The check in was very pleasant and convenient I stayed in the king suite which was very spacious and clean very clean The bed was extraordinarily comfortable and the floor I was on was very quiet which made for a wonderful nights sleep My view wasn’t the greatest and I would not recommend the shampoo or body wash that is provided, but the friendly staff The cleanliness The price for the room The nice complimentary breakfast and the convenient location make this the perfect place to stay in the quad city area

Hannah Baker

Super nice hotel Clean and new and very pretty room Had everything I needed

Super comfortable bed Nice TV and kitchenette and living room Only small downside is the breakfast- they advertise it like it’s some fancy hot breakfast (with scramble bowls, etc which they didn’t actually have), but it was pretty much just standard continental breakfast stuff in prepackaged bags- breakfast sandwiches, muffins, bagels Then waffle maker etc So it was slightly better quality bfast than a cheap motel for the most part but nothing exciting in terms of variety Other than that it was an absolutely perfect and phenomenal stay! I plan to come back if I ever need a hotel again here

IL Hemmert

Best hotel in the US! I had a lovely stay and really enjoyed it They made me feel home and I got to stay almost a year Never considered moving into a different hotel or even renting my own apartment, as this place has everything you are looking for

Great staff, well equipped rooms, really clean, gym/pool, delicious breakfast Would always come back!!

While the experience at this Hilton Garden in certainly qualified as acceptable for the price, it couldn’t go much further My partner and I booked a King suite specifically because it stated there were bathtubs in all the rooms Upon checking in, we were surprised to find out that isn’t the case, and that the staff didn’t even know which King suites still had bathtubs, as most have been switched to shower only

Overall, a very average experience and one I couldn’t recommend over another average hotel experience Props to the staff for assisting us with our request, however

Jon T

Rooms we had were very comfortable, loved the indoor pool and hot tub was a great place to chill in the afternoonStaff super helpfulMy only gripe was the lack of black out curtains – the heater/A-C unit is under the window with only a thin curtain over it

Ok if you like waking with the morning light

Sara Rieselbach

Made a mistake with my reservation Called right away to change it Had signed up for AAA rate

Apparently, it was non-refundable They refused to work with me to change it The deck clerk was sarcastic and patronizing, telling me I should have called for my reservation, and it would have been more understandable! Poor service Charged my card today for my room that I cannot even use!

We stay here frequently Its within an hour of our home for date nights They have nice beds

A WONDERFUL breakfast! Friendly staff (Bartender is always friendly!) This time it was a Sunday evening for our 21st Anniversary and of course being our bad luck to stay that evening no bar or hot tub open Room was still clean except the in room coffee pot this time was disgusting

Vincent Lovato

I booked this hotel because it has truck parking for me to park and get out of truck for a few days Staff was awesome Location was off path

But had a bunch of taxi service that was pricey(20 each way) down the street 3 miles, no uber no lyft, Max’s taxi service is best but still pricey No shuttle for guests and restaurant/bar open limited times, real limited Overall was good Bartender was awesome and needs help to stay open longer

Regis McDonald

I stayed here 03/26 The front desk employees were the only redeeming qualities of this place the gentleman late at night checking me in and the younger lady I reported this to before leaving The room was just ok window was propped open as I walked in

It was very outdated for the price and it stunk I could deal with that I was tired But what really upset me was the disrespect I encountered by the two housekeeper women at 6:30am at breakfast Me by myself along with roughly ten other people enter the breakfast area to get food I was the ONLY person these two women came up to asking which room number I was staying in, if I could tell them which part of the building 152 was and where was my room key I’m covered in tattoos, And I wear a lot of jewelry so I definitely felt as if I was discriminated against and I voiced my concern directly to the women asking why I was the only one they needed all that info from is it because of how I looked they asked no one else ? and then I asked for their name I’m almost certain one was “deb” on the name tag old white haired woman and the other a dark haired older woman but they both covered their name tag almost immediately and said “oh really !? go ahead and say something I don’t “f****** care, f*** off” I paid $193 + deposit to stay in the room I stayed in Left it the same way I came Caused no problems I did not deserve the disrespect the discrimination that I received at this hotel not to mention to be cussed at 6:30 in the morning I would seriously suggest looking at your other options in the area before making a decision here

Clean and very nice rooms However, disappointed breakfast doesn’t start till 7 on weekends We stay in a lot of hotels for youth sports and most accommodate early start times by having an earlier breakfast or agreeing to have some breakfast ready by 6:00 or 6:30

When asked if this was an option we were instantly told no Most hotels love repeat business so they work with us on this Also a bit frustrating it is not allowed to consume an alcoholic beverage anywhere in the hotel besides your room A few families wanted to gather for supper in lobby area and have a drink We were instantly told no Then once it turned 10:00, they started shutting the lights on and off on us We thought it was an electrical issue, but instead it was the worker doing it, telling us lobby is closed and we have to leave Just an awkward way to tell us to leave After staying for 2 nights I checked out and turned keys in before 7 AM Around 11:45 AM I noticed on my Hilton app that my room was still not checked out, even though I had my receipt On Monday I checked my credit card online and the hotel charged me $30 more than what my receipt states Waiting for end result on that issue Between baseball, softball, volleyball, and basketball, our teams stay in many hotels throughout the year, especially in the Quad Cities area Needless to stay, we will not be back to this particular hotel

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was on the higher end of the hotel buffets, decor was nice inside and out, and the kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool We were there the one night a week (Sunday) the bar is closed, but it looked cool It was also in a nice area along the river and had a splash pad and little amphitheater plus some shops and restaurants just behind the hotel

Would definitely stay here again

Nichole Klinge

We stayed here a couple years ago and it was wonderful, very clean, staff was polite and the kids really enjoyed the pool That’s why when we needed a room for family from out of town, we thought of this place first We rented a king suite with jacuzzi tub

The staff was very nice upon arrival and polite when calling to discuss concerns When we entered the room it smelled of stale cigarette smoke Which was off putting, because we thought it was non-smoking The celling in the rooms bathroom and above the jacuzzi were water stained and paint peeling off The room seemed to be clean, just not well maintainedWe decided to go to the pool The water was cloudy in the pool, filled with floating long black hairs, leaves and even a cigarette bud floating in the water at the outdoor section of the pool There were dirty towels laying around the pool room The plus side, the bathroom in the pool area was clean The hot tub looked like it was clean and safe to get into It was just a shame that the hot tub jets didn’t work No towels available either, tried to call the front desk from the pool area for towels and the phone in the pool room doesn’t work Made our way back to the room and it smelled like someone was smoking a cigar in the hallway and even stronger smell when we got into the room Called the front desk to notify them Service desk said they’d come check it out, never heard back Told them no towels in the pool room also and they said it was because of covid but we could come to the front desk and she’d give us some Wish they’d have told us before hand, we’d have stopped there before going to the pool On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and breakfast served in the morning was was a welcomed pleasantry

Matthew Helmke

Staff were friendly Room was clean Hotel was mostly quiet (the hotel has no ability to control when kids play loudly or a woman screams with pleasure during sex)

Walls are not soundproof Typical stuff Breakfast was sad with weak options for the price level of the hotelI paid extra for a room with a hot tub, but had to call maintenance as the drain didn’t close rendering it useless To their credit, it didn’t take long to fix and the staff was responsive and apologetic (but didn’t offer a discount or anything) The window blinds were broken, so I couldn’t open or close them Wallpaper is peeling Carpets are loose and coming up Drapery brackets exist with no drapesTake a look at pics, especially the kicked in door to the bathroom How do you rent out a room in this condition? It’s not like the property was full

This place has the best reviews for the area so we decided to stay here Its nice, pool was a tad bit chilly, clean rooms, good location and easy to find Weird staff guy wandering the halls at all hours peeking around corners and such

Other reviewers talk like this place is the marriot or something, I didn’t think so Its priced like the marriot tho Not the worst but definitely not the best Other motels have such low ratings in this area that you don’t really have a choice but to stay here i guess

Maquita Edwards went above and beyond during our arrival She verified that our room was up to standards and that we knew about the local attractions and restaurants nearby I’ve been to many hotels and I have never received such services, overall I am very pleased with the pleasant service she provided

You guys have a gem, please treat her as such! I will be visiting again

3/5 Not the best Holiday Inn I’ve been to and not the worst Location was great, near plenty of restaurants and bars

Parking was easy and free Breakfast was not free, but the restaurant looked okay (did not eat there) The rooms were clean, minus a bit of mold on the ceiling in the shower and a bit of food debris on the floor when we walked in Curtains were a little tough to get completely closed, so there was always a bit of light shining through in the morning The bathroom faucet was terribly designed, with very little pressure and a short spout, forcing you to touch the side of the basin every time and get water all over the back, which would eventually pool and run down the side of the counter The lighting in the room was fine but a little dim Carpets were slightly stained, but not gross looking The light switch for the bathroom was outside of the bathroom which was frustrating, but there was a nice nightlight inside which helped at night Mini fridge was included in the room, but was more of a quarter fridge than a standard mini fridge, so a little smaller than expected All staff encountered were friendly I would stay again, but for the price paid, would try somewhere different for the same amount

Nice hotel The paint or maybe plaster was cracked and separating from the wall so it needs some attention The coffee maker did not work and when mentioned to lady at front desk there was barely any acknowledgement

I’ll bet that coffee maker is still in the room We were only there one night so this was only a quick observation The bed was comfortable and the night staff very friendly and welcoming

Stayed for a work event in the area – there were five of us total The customer service provided by Harold and the rest of the staff was amazing This is one of the best Hilton properties I have ever stayed in

Harold was responsive to emails even on his day off Because I was coordinating stays for five people, he went the extra mile to make sure everything was organized Hotel was clean and rooms were spacious We ate at the restaurant all three nights and food was fantastic Wait staff consistent and friendly Nice breakfast in the morning Loved Axis!

Our recent stay at the Axis was a great experience! The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating! The restaurant food was fantastic! The restaurant was closed during the week for lunch, but there are several great restaurants within walking distance They have convenient free parking, and the rooms were very nice and clean We even booked the banquet room for a family dinner (25 people) with little lead time, and Alysia was a rock star! She made sure all details were covered and had great communication throughout the planning of the event

This is now our go-to hotel in Moline!

I recently had a terrible experience with a Hilton hotel so I was leery about staying somewhere else I actually called different hotels and quizzed them before finally settling on this one I am extremely pleased with this site

The exterior is clean and welcoming When I arrived early they were able to get me into a room within a few minutes Wow! Great room Clean, perfect temperature, well stocked The front desk girl, Kylie was amazing too I didn’t have to ask for more towels or items and I had an ice maker in the refrigerator I had never heard of My Place Hotels and I will be booking with this hotel again It’s close to restaurants and the interstate Not a bit of disappointment here

Wow!!! Best Hotel Ever! Location was great Assistant Manager was running the desk and was super bubbly and I believe it wasn’t an act Room was awesome

Full size Refrigerator, which was good for a Beer Drinker, a Recliner that wasn’t bad A table with 2 chairs for eating and of course a TV Wi-Fi was strong and reliable While this is usually a “Extended Stay” type Hotel I highly recommend for a stay of any length

This Comfort inn hotel is exceptional! We’ve been on the road for almost a month and this is by far the best motel that we have stayed at Clean rooms, great mattresses, good pillows, clean breakfast area and a decent offering for their breakfast FRESH EGGS made my day

Did I mention this place was clean? The staff was exceptionally helpful the guy who checked us in last night, was very helpful and friendly Will stay again

Brittany B

Good location by river, but not clean Sheets were dirty with crumbs and hair on the pullout couch that they promised was made The pullout was also missing pillows, and they had to take pillows from an unoccupied room

I had to replace the sheets and pillowcases myself Rooms felt dirty Breakfast was nice and there are some great staff members working here

Robin DiCicco

Good price and pet friendly Hotel is outdated and room was not appealing You could see insulation around the shower head in the bathroom

The light blocking drapes were too long and blocked the A/C unit The exterior door on the end of the building was broken and blocked with a trash can No bacon or sausage for breakfast We will not stay here again

Breakfast was nearly non-existent The first morning there were two refrigerated breakfast sandwiches left No hot foods

Two types of sugary cereal were available as well as packaged danish and bread The second morning there were no breakfast sandwiches – only bread, pre-packaged biscuits, and so-called gravy It was thin as milk Otherwise, rooms were quiet and clean for the most part
