This hotel deserves 6 stars, but 5 will have to suffice We needed a hotel last second after our flight was canceled out of JFK and this was the only hotel that had rooms available Took a shot booking here simply wanting a bed instead of sleeping in the airport terminal

All our winter clothes were stuck in the airport and the kind gentleman at this hotel at the front desk literally gave me the jacket off his back to go grab a bite down the street in 10 degree weather Even sent their shuttle to pick us up at the restaurant to go back to the hotel at 12:30am so we wouldn’t have to walk in the frigid weather Incredible kindness The breakfast the next morning was a nice touchGreat spot if you need a clean, safe place to crash around JFK Seemed like a mom and pop kind of place Top notch… super grateful for these people after a brutal travel day

I LOVE this hotel! It’s kind of old, BUT it’s extremely clean every time I stay here and the bed is comfortable and there’s a fridge and microwave in every room I think the excellent customer service can’t be beat! Every single person I encountered here from the van driver, the front desk and the cleaning staff are soo nice and helpful I’ve stayed here about 5 times for work (flight attendant) and will continue coming here

The only thing I don’t love is there is no coffee maker in the room so have to get dressed and go downstairs to get my coffee, but all the other good stuff makes up for that

The staff here is amazing! They were so accommodating and gave us a wonderful room during our stay I believe it was Nicole and Erin that assisted us at the front desk and they were lovely! Our room was clean, spacious, and overlooked the Coliseum We stayed here for a concert at Jones Beach Amphitheater and it was conveniently located to the highway and not too far from the venue!

What can I say, the lobby was updated and pleasant At the bar you’d have to fight to get a drink and get a bartender to even acknowledge you, but that’s not the bad part When I entered my room it was an “upgraded” room

The audacity for them to call that an updated room it looked like a hotel from the 90s and not in a good way Stained carpet and an odor During my stay I couldn’t in the room, I was way too uncomfortable, come to find out there was an outbreak in my hotel room Do yourself a favor, bring a beach chair and a blanket you’d be better off Their beds are infested with bugs that you’ll bring home I’m quite sure they didn’t change my sheets before I arrived and I took them home Never again

In particular, Kelly on the staff always greets you with a bright smile and has helped me with everything from finding a good place to eat in town to making sure everything in my room was to my liking Kelly goes out of her way to make sure your stay is the best possible! This was a beautiful hotel! Google maps said it would take longer to get to the train station, but it’s literally across the street This made going into New York City very easy The rooms were HUGE and very clean! The hand towels had the garden city logo on them and the robes were unbelievably comfortable

The beds were great to sleep in My wife made friends with a few of the housekeeping ladies After a full day of traveling to get here, then waking up early to go to the city, we were in dire need of water The housekeepers were super nice and gave us quite a few bottles!! The staff is wonderful, capped off by Anthony (Tony) at the front desk The common areas are wonderfully clean, with staff walking the space throughout the day We were in the pool and witnessed a staff member walk the gym and pool area, then minutes later another staff member came down to mop some shoe prints on the pool deck

Great team work was evident throughout our stay, and housekeeping was attentive, remembered that we had children with us, and quietly knocked as to not disturb them well deserving of our tip! Don’t forget to tip, the team deserves it

I always used to even tip them to clean my room but my room was never cleaned properly Also one day they randomly told me that I have to leave the hotel for playing loud music in my room They could have gave me warning but instead of that they asked me to leave!! First time domestically or internationally I’ve seen a hotel implement this type of policy There was a frigid draft coming into my hotel room from below the AC/heat unit I ended up booking and using a different hotel for the remainder of my stay Much better experience and only 5 minutes away

This hotel is conveniently located, pet friendly, and clean If you have the app, you can get your room and key straight through your phone We haven’t needed to interact much with the staff, but we did have an issue with the locking system (dead battery) late one night during our last stay, and the desk and maintenance folks were helpful and went the extra mile to get someone to our room right away to get it open

Or whatever cleaning I could get See pic None of the “complimentary” services were received Even getting towels took three times to ask and they said there was a shift change and mornings were too busy to handle the request The room we had was very expensive for the services we “received” I think the worst was the dead rat on the roof we saw looking out our window And the spiders in the room on the bed pillows I guess that’s all you need to know

This is a suite hotel how is there only two carts? The pool is closed and again a family hotel It’s the summer time, who planned this didn’t think through this at all I booked this 10 months ago based on the good reviews It’s on me not checking sooner Wish I would have known in advance to switch hotels The manager however is super nice Not a great start to our family vacation

This hotel is very nice! Comfortable and clean room, floors are well kept, and the grounds are very decorative Minor issues with my stay: bathroom sink handle was loose, new parking charge implemented (complimentary when I had made the reservation), and some communication issues I called prior to the reservation and was told breakfast was buffet style, then during check in I learned it was made to order and a separate charge

I must have missed something but this along with the new parking charge had me stressed out the night of check in Fortunately the daily parking charge was removed during check out with receipt of my email reservation

If in Rockville Center this is the best property to stay at if you can get a room and pay the premium price they charge to stay here Very quiet overall Beautiful center breakfast dining area with open space looking up the top of the multi floor building

Clean and large room and bathroom Very comfortable beds and pillows Breakfast was typical hotel buffet style but the waffles here are very good (unlike some other hotels in the area) Staff was super polite and accommodating They even bake fresh cookies everyday they give out at the front desk There is no pool here and we did not notice an excersize room, but didn’t ask, so check before booking if that is a need The only issue we had was our shower control handle was loose and would change temperature during ashower I mentioned it to the front desk but it was never fixed Other than that, an excellent place to stay if in the area

Very clean and friendly front desk staff I was in town for a funeral and the hotel staff was very accommodating when plans changed They have a hot breakfast which is included in the stay, very nice set up and plenty of seating

In the room there was a pull out bed with everything you needed ! They do allow dogs which i love even though I didn’t bring mine this time Would definitely revisit this hotel if needed

Beautiful hotel nice spacious rooms majority of the staff is pleasant and helpful, rooms kept clean , and the hotel is always quiet but be aware of the egotistical manager Travis who has no compassion and consideration of a miss understanding that could have been cleared in 2 seconds, but when certain people are put in a position of Power then they power trip A miss understanding of my kids charging ice cream to my room and my card not being billed because I had to cancel my cards because I lost my wallet resulted in Travis kicking me and my 5 year old daughter out and his exact words were “Things happen good luck”

The outside may be scary but inside the room is pretty clean and spacious I was surprised The people here are pretty friendly

It’s not perfect but for the price that they ask especially during weekdays is a steal On weekends it’s pricey but what place isn’t They have no security deposit You pay online or in person and that’s the final price No extra fees in person This has been my go to spot for the past year Great place Highly recommend especially because there’s a 24 hour drive thru McDonald’s right next store and a 7-11 down the street There’s also a KFC, Dunkin(not 24hours) and it’s right next to the highway So you could hop on it and head home or wherever you need to go Very convenient Not noisy in the rooms There’s sometimes people smoking outside or talking but that’s alot of inns Other than that I would recommend if you looking for good price and cheap food nearby Usually packed All in all it’s a 37 average

I spent 188 for one night I went back at midnight after the event I attended and packed my stuff and drove 25 hours home

It was not safe to say the least Someone overdosed in the front earlier that day DO NOT SAY HERE the top lock was broken in my room and there was several men standing outside the “inn” when I returned at midnight

Went for dinner and drinks with work friends We were a group of 8 people Had called in advance for seating and the table was set and ready for us at the appointed time

They sat us right by the fish tank which is very pretty The waitress, Kathy, was excellent and courteous We all had the price fix meal which was great Appetizer, dinner and dessert It was spaced out perfectly, not rushed but not so long between courses for us to wonder where our food was This allowed us to enjoy our dinner and have nice conversation It was a great evening Everybody enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the service
