For the price the hotel was great The customer service was good Whenever we requested something from the front desk, the staff would call your room to confirm you received what you needed

I loved having a laundry room that you could use a debit/credit card for and not have to worry about getting cash The view is amazing, we had the bay side view The room is spacious and it was convenient to have a full size kitchen and bedroom that is separate and private from the living room area We love the ability to go for a swim at 7am while having a drink at the pool The grills were a plus as wellI gave 4 stars for several reasons but mainly due to the room not being cleaned very well I did address this with the front staff and they sent someone to clean the area we were the most unhappy with The pool towels are limited so I would recommend bringing your own The room could definitely use some updating and we were a little disappointed because the pictures shown on their website looked betterRecommendations for the hotel is to put larger trash cans in the kitchen, add brooms/ mops in the rooms (Especially because we stayed 8 nights), make sure enough toiletries are provided based on the length of stay, purchase more linens, and update the rooms (The tub had peeling paint, furniture outdated and beat up, and cracked flooring)Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return

Overall loved everything about this place!! Atmosphere is great Much quieter than expected Being on the 3rd floor we heard no one above or below us

The pull out couch was very comfortable, happily surprised Our only real complaint, and it’s gross Actual dirty dishes were in the cupboard Easy fix we just washed anything and everything before we used it

Went for a weekend getaway for sun, a pool and water view This place did all that The grounds are beautiful and well kept

The poolside restaurant had super hardworking and friendly staff; food and drinks were great Pool area was small and could use more chairs as they are filled up really early The hotel itself is outdated but clean overall and had everything we needed We did request toilet paper and towels twice and never received them, but when our TV broke a maintenance worker showed up very quickly Unfortunately the free shuttle bus is very unreliable; upon arrival after waiting an hour and half at the airport we took a cab And upon departure we reserved it for 10am and it was about 40 minutes late, which caused a panic as we had a flight to make Over this is a great place for quick stay for some sun and fun!

Jake at the front desk is a great asset to your organization My wife and I checked in at about 6:00 pm on a Thursday with at least three other guests ahead of us on line and at least 2 phone lines ringing Jake handled everything and everyone professionally and courteously

The room was fine although the shade on the door to the balcony needs repair

Robert Cosme – Blood Hound

Kay the manager of the Candlewood Suites has been phenomenal! Excellent customer service and superb hospitality excellence is the bare minimum to describe my experience Thank you Kay, for your hospitality Professional and friendly

I give this hotel 5 stars for the staff alone The rooms are clean and modern I highly recommend this place

Robh693 H

Nice, clean hotel Up to date amenities, very large room with kitchenette Hotel is in a beautiful neighborhood and there are 2 very good restaurants in the same plaza

The only thing we didn’t care for was the very soft bed which left us both with sore lower backs, you actually have to struggle to get out of the bed There is no breakfast offered but there is a very good diner in the same plaza

We stayed here for a week and we enjoyed it The pool is nice, the hotel and spot it’s in is a little walk from restaurants and beach which is nice because it’s not to loud or crazy when you are relaxing in your room The kitchen was nice and it came stocked with dishes

The only complaint I have is they canceled our reservation due to an issue with my card but never told us We travel all the way from NYC and were exhausted, they were unable to give us the room we originally booked but did give us a small refund and gave us a different room I would have liked to have better communication with my reservation Other than that the staff was great and very accommodating, I will most likely stay here again

Koda Rose

Upon arrival it was a bit confusing to find the main entrance or lobby Check in was quick and simple I would suggest that the guest be given info on where the ice machine and laundry are located

The room size was perfect and allowed separation of adult and child spaces I had 2 teens and it would have made for miserable vacation if we had stayed in a regular hotel room The pool and outdoor area are nice, but we did have to ask for the pool to be cleaned though due to debris and lots of sand in the pool With a few updates and someone to attend to the pool area daily (vacuum, blow the sand off the cushions and clean up a little) they could have an amazing outdoor space Overall our stay was good and we would definitely stay here again If you decide to stay at Coconut Cove you MUST eat at the Italian restaurant next door!!

Korea Scott

Reasonably priced Room was nice and clean Fully equipped kitchen

Great location Only 6 minute walk to beach, restaurants and entertainment Locate trolly was right outside the front door WiFi was very slow and there are no elevators as I had my elderly parents with me and we had to walk 4 flights of stairs at a time Staff was kind Only complaint was construction of a nearby hotel blocked view Will definitely come back again

I had my wedding at the Hilton on the beach last month The staff was nice and easy to work with when setting up the venue and date The overall stay and experience wasn’t what we had expected with the price we paid

The rooms were mediocre, beds weren’t too comfortable, not any COVID protocols in place Many of guest had similar complaints about the rooms During the morning of the wedding, they had provided us with bridal and groom room however the coffee they were going to provide was brought after we were all ready and left for the wedding Regarding valet there were some issues as they tried to make our guest pay the full price but luckily our wedding planner was able to speak to the staff and get it sorted The day of the wedding the service was okay with the servers as they didn’t seem too friendly or nice towards the guest as our guest told me and my family after the event For the price we paid for the venue it wasn’t as special as I had expected The outdoor venue was great- right on the beach and they had the chairs set up on time The view to the beach was great and lunch area was set up nicely – they had provided us with linens

Ok ask for things that should have been included but did not get them Like an extra pillow Towels for 2 peopleI got 2 bath towels for 2 days! Asked for early check in and it was an hour late

As a guest I wanted to take a photo of the beach Went on to the upper patio where I was go to have a 3800 breakfast and the lady asked me to leave That area is only for guests They when I explained I was , I was told to sit down I did not stay she did not make me feel comfortable I did tell the waitress who was sweet however I just left The banquet food was outstanding Chicken moist, beef tender and even the lunch on the beach was lovely One thing I noticed was a young lady asked the kitchen to hold her food she was giving a speech The kitchen did not hold her food and she did not get a meal That was very upsetting I felt bad You never let anyone go hungry Give them something That should not have happened The room was clean and the parking attendants were nice Servers at the luncheon were kind and helpful Bar tenders were nice I asked for a specific beverage the mixer to that beverage was off Tasted weird Common areas appeared clean

Brian Klukososki

Great location but dated You have a great pool and you are on the beach You can easily walk to the pier or any of the shops and restaurants

The main areas are nice Almost all rooms have balconies which is great Even though rooms seemed to get upgrades it still feels older Noisy toilet, AC that can’t keep up with the heat and beds that you sink off and aren’t firm Our closet was musty probably from wet items put on the carpet inside

From check in to check out everything was excellent about our stay at this property We had a long term stay (2 weeks) due to renovations at our property in Clearwater and the hotel accommodated us and made it feel like home The room was incredible, large and had a huge balcony overlooking Mandalay Avenue and the Gulf allowing for spectacular sunset views

Everyone on staff was friendly from the valet team (who worked hard for us since we were in and out a lot!) to the mechanics (thanks for the help with the frisky AC unit) to the front desk crew (for being there for a morning or evening smile after a long day) A special shout out to Eric who was a bartender at the new rooftop bar as well as the lobby bar for the excellent service Most bartenders don’t take the time to learn a customer’s name let alone take the time to refresh a drink that’s melted a bit He went above and beyond and showed genuine interest in us during our stay which was appreciated – like meeting up with an old friend! Speaking of the rooftop bar, be sure to visit if your staying there! Unbelievable views all around! We will definitely be visiting again and will be sure this hotel is where we’ll call “home” againTo all visitors – just be aware there is a $29+tax Valet charge, self-parking is not an option but the Valet team were awesome and took the time to get to know us so it was easy in and out!

Bread new hotels (2021) are almost always a delight, and the Courtyard here has several things going for it on top Super clean, new smell, and modern styling And absolutely everyone we interacted with on the staff, from valet to desk to housekeeping, we’re great hires

That said, there are some peculiarities in the design and amenities that faced cost reduction instead of improving guest experience That said, you’re either picking this hotel because your first choices are sold out, or, you’re just supremely loyal to the Courtyard, business traveler-focused brandI can imagine the build quality of this hotel will wear in a couple years (particularly in a beach area), so enjoy it while you can Already saw some wear on the bathroom sink and the windowsWe ended up in the last available room last weekend, a 2 Queen Suite I’d design the room layout to be more functional, but spacious is definitely an accurate descriptorNo true ocean views here, but you can see it around the condos on the beach with enough satisfactionIf I’m being overly particular about a Courtyard, it’s because average costs for this one is in the $300-600s per night If a hotel charges 4-star hotel prices, I’d like to see 4-star amenities to go along Otherwise, you might as well pay the same amount for a true 4-star on the ⛱️Overall impressions were met, and I’d not hesitate stay here again if the main resorts on the beach were sold out again

Melissa LaNinfa

The Courtyard made our little family reunion delightful despite freezing cold temperatures Everyone from the valet drivers to the front desk was pleasant and helpful They even upgraded us to a room with a view of the Marina – an unexpected surprise

The heated pool kept the kids entertained while the adults relaxed and enjoyed wine, beer, Irish coffee, and a great selection of appetizers Mark made sure we were always taken care of and we appreciated it very much I also used the gym during our stay and I have to say that it was the nicest hotel gym I’ve ever seen It also has a beautiful view of the marina The location of the property is about 2 or 3 blocks from the Pier with lots of restaurants, bars, shops, drugstores, and even Ron Jon’s within walking distance Everything was perfect and we appreciate the genuinely warm and friendly service from all staff members Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Great resort for a family with kids although the rooms are a little on the older side All the people are very friendly and professional You’ve got tennis, golf, and several small pools with an overall relaxing environment

There’s a driving range next to the main clubhouse by the South course We played South, Island and Copperhead courses – and the club services team moves your equipment around to each course ahead of time Super efficient!

Ursula Cunningham

This place was spectacular!!! I didn’t get to enjoy the 6 pools, nor golfing but we will be going back in October The room was very nice, it was like home away from home We had a kitchen, living area, nice room and the bathroom was very nice as well

Going back to the kitchen, it had all the appliances and dishware needed to cook I thank God for my husband, for picking out a wonderful place for the second part of our vacation! ❤️❤️❤️

D.R. O’Hara

I loved the condo I stayed in Great WI-FI, beautiful property As an Airbnb renter, I feel like there is no respect shown to visitors who spend thousands over their stay

I felt like a prisoner in my very expensive rental Innisbrook would benefit from issuing a pool pass for guests, especially those who spend over $100 at a restaurant built right next to the pool Perhaps a lower membership package, temporary, allows pool(s) or pool Honestly you are accosted if you go in the pool as a renter and are forced to exit It is scary I spent 8 days inside taking occasional walks and ordering in I came to watch golf and go in the pool, considering there are several Are no pools for guests? ugh Sorry I feel like I wasted money that could have been avoided had management addressed the concerns of several guests who posted prior I am not spending thousands of dollars to take a dip It is ludicrous

Our room wasn’t ready until almost an hour after check in time, but the front desk worker was friendly Our room was clean and spacious (maybe bigger than a typical room because it was handicap accessible) Our bed was very comfortable

The pool had a nice view but could have used some maintenance and cleaning The breakfast was SO crowded We stopped by at 8am and there was a great variety of foods but only apples for fruit We stopped by again at 945am to grab a yogurt to go and it looked like they had run out of fresh cut fruit that was later placed out? and replaced almost everything from before (sandwiches, sausage gravy, French toast) with hard boiled eggs Most of the bread products were already put away or not replenished If we wouldn’t have eaten earlier I would have been very disappointed

Tara R.

I am 32 with no kids, and this hotel was packed with kids and families In the morning kids yelled in their rooms starting at 7 am and then you would hear them running down the halls to breakfast, and after that you heard them at the pool all day The pool was overcrowded a few times throughout the day

Other than that the pool and balcony were nice The hotel was nice, and so were the rooms Great location I did feel a little fooled because the picture showed a waterfront hotel, it was water, but not the ocean The ocean was only a building or two away, I mostly walked through the surf shop and straight to the beach The bar in the hotel was great A lady named Kelly made amazing mojitos and was very sweet AC worked great in the room, the bathroom was very clean, and the bedding was soft I wish the room had a tub to be able to take a bath in, instead of the stand-up shower, but I understand most people like stand-up showers betterI had a great weekend here, with the minor inconveniences of the noise from kids The location was very perfect 2 Starbucks in walking distance, the surf shop had a mini grocery store across the street, and restaurants/bars everywhere More of a family vacation spot than i expected but a still great hotel

Marissa

We loved our stay at Springhill Suites It is close to everything!! The beach is just through surf style The staff was very friendly

Any time we requested additional linens they were there within minutes The pool has a view of the bay The breakfast may just have been the best part TONS of options and everyday something new I would stay here again in a heart beat!

My wife and I had a great stay at Beso Del Sol! We had a great view of the water and watched some amazing sunsets Our room was clean and well furnished making it very comfortable Everyone was very friendly and helpful plus The Marker 8 had great food and drinks! Mia, who checked us in was fantastic

She made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable plus threw in a few great tips for local eats

Bekah

Water front was beautiful Staff was friendly But they lied about what room we booked

Found out from one of the staff that they the people in charge do it all the time So fair warning if you book a room that supposed to have a view, separate living area from the bed room they’re lying to you It’s a studio room Other than that they stay was nice

Kyle Brasure (Jen)

We were so pleased by this hotel and the location Our room was very spacious and had the best screened-in porch on the second floor, looking towards the marina Room service was a little confusing, as we weren’t expecting them until the 3rd day, but they came the first two days and then no more until checkout

This was not a big deal at all for us as we were able to easily leave our dirty towels and trash outside of our door and request fresh towels as needed All of the hotel staff from front desk, to housekeeping, to breakfast attendant were all very accommodating Free breakfast was a plus for us and it was decent We enjoyed the pool a couple of days as well The location to downtown Dunedin is the icing on the cake for me Walking distance to so many restaurants and shops There is also a park with playground for children right next door And a pier next to the marina that is such a nice spot to sit in the mornings or to watch the sunset We were lucky enough one morning to be able to watch dolphins Would definitely stay here if we are fortunate enough to visit this area again!

Ian Hawkesworth

Amazing stay here!!! Cathy at the front desk was so helpful, funny and sweet! We ended up talking for 15 minutes at check in Our room was beautiful, spacious, comfy, nice showers and a private balcony Perfect location as well

Pool area was great and placed to get the most out of the sun Breakfast was also enjoyable and they have a proper coffee machine serving various options Highly recommend staying here On top of all this -Breathtaking sunsets every night

Rick Roach

Surprisingly not your average Best Western Awesome view looking over the water, 2 seafood restaurants and the yacht club Inground pool is clean

Our room was huge Even with the hot tub and king-size bed, plenty room for a romantic dance Free breakfast was sad Powdered scramble eggs, greasy bacon No sausage Regular coffee dispenser was not working so they had decaf coffee We were discussing that having fresh brewed coffee available would solve the issue

This is my 4 time stay in this hotel The only reason why I give a two star is because the big issues that I had with valet while staying here, but otherwise I would definitely stay here again if they clean the valet parking staff This is the second bad experience that I have with the valet parking

The prior time that I stay in this hotel my car was hit at the valet parking and they blame a hotel guest for the accident when is supposed to be a valet parking only Guest are not supposed to be driving there car period I’m a disabled veteran so this time I asked the to park the car on the bottom floor and not to be moved for the time that I stay in the hotel They told me that it will not be an issue and took my keys Not even 3 hours late the car was moved when I went to ask I was told that it was moved to park a employee car from the same valet staff When i brought the issue with the manager of the valet parking That employee that moved my car to park his did not like it and stated to be super aggressive and very unprofessional He started to threatening me and using profanity words in front of my family and other guests This employee should have been fire on the spot or at least suspended that night and they did nothing I brought up the problem personally with the general manager he started that he will personally address the problem I hope he will They definitely need better staff at the valet parking For the other part the hotel was VERY clean and ALL of the front desk staff was friendly and professional like always The complimentary breakfast had PLENTY of options and the pool was nice The hotel location is super

Rachel “Rachel Eats” S.

This hotel is a nice convenient beach access location It is a good location to walk into either the restaurant and shopping areas but also near the water We have a view of the ocean from our room that is pretty sweet

Overall worth a stay here but not sure if it fits the aesthetic my boyfriend and I like to have with our hotels But definitely worth a stay and it will be fun!

David Cole

Just finished a stay at the Marriot, location is great and about a 2 minute walk to the beach (cut through the Surf Style store) Front Desk staff were awesome as were all of the staff that we spoke or interacted with Included breakfast was great and the workers were very friendly and helpful

Parked at the hotel which was $25 / night which is reasonable and includes the next day as well Rooms were on the smaller side but had everything we needed Will for sure come back to this hotel in the future

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any room This site will compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few days you won’t be let downStill features one of the most elegant Sunday brunches in the area, although there are no real safety precautions which was a bit disappointing Food is fresh and well -prepared with a wide assortment of breakfast and lunch/dinner fare The buffet includes a free mimosa, unlimited coffee, hot or iced tea and soft drinks

Marcus Miller

As a venue for a wedding, it was a great choice Absolutely incredible dinner service, bar was great, and lighting was well managedFor the hotel/spa, sub-par

Pool is nice, but crowded Limited chairs and towels Charges for spa were supposed to be waived for wedding, but wouldn’t remove a small $32 charge because it was booked through a third party Not a big deal, but more of the principal of the matter Room service was running behind for a morning breakfast (scheduled) 21% gratuity is automatic and the price on the menu didn’t match the price on the bill Very unfortunate considering a gratuity is linked to serviceThe entire hotel needs a coat of paint and a pressure wash outside Multiple parts of the hotel either smelled of mildew or bleach The room was clean and well stocked, but the towels were rough The furniture could definitely use an upgradeRecommendation for management/owners, whoever is the hospitality manager for the venue/wedding operations should be put in charge of all the others operations as well Perhaps they would bring the service level up and we’d stay again

Chris Camerlengo

Went for spring break with my son to catch Yankee spring training A relative set us up with a 2 night stay From check in to check out was nice place

Could use better water pressure and room updates But beds were comfortable Food at hotel was solid And the surrounding areas have places to eat Was a too short trip He will return with friends next year

We had a nice room with a beautiful view of the Bay The rooms were clean and had firm beds (if you like that), the location was great, and it’s just across the street from the beach There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops you can walk to only minutes away

There’s even a restaurant upstairs which I didn’t get to take advantage of, but I heard it was great Also, the front desk staff were friendlyThings I didn’t like:It took a while for us to get into the parking garage, because of the amount of traffic there was the afternoon that we arrived Once we got to hotel, the parking was a breeze Their check-in lobby was a little small In order to get to the lobby you need to take the elevators a few floors up from the ground floor The hallway carpet on the way to our room was a little warped It might be due for a replacement Other than the above mentioned, everything was greatI would recommend staying here, at least 2 nights

So we just checked in a couple hours ago and will be here until Tuesday so I will update this review but… the young woman who checked us in was awesome

Help us with extra towels, explained the services, and was a great first impression The room is amazing Corner room with a big balcony looking right at Pier 60, and three side windows facing the beach also Very big room, very clean and bathroom/shower very clean One drawback so far is water pressure but good hot water Went up to the rooftop bar and had a Gin and Tonic and it was very lively with great view of the beach I will update but for now this is looking good

Hotel is in a fantastic location! Just across the street from the beach Staff at check-in was extremely helpful in fixing an issue with the booking site we used Warm breakfast was surprisingly good

Room is a little out dated but not enough to distract from the other great qualities of this hotel We even were able to watch the pier fireworks from our bedroom window

Opal Sands Resort is a nice hotel with a great view Most of the staff is friendly and willing to do whatever they can to please, but I felt the front desk employee who checked us in didn’t provide a warm welcome Each day we walked by the front desk would ignore us unless we directly approached them

Many avoided eye contact which I felt was odd? A smile goes a long way I do wish there was an adult only pool here as one day the pool was shut down twice for an hour within a few hours because of a kid having an accident in the pool They could also be better about keeping non-guests out of the pool area but I’m sure that’s a challenge they face daily I like that they have cold bottled water available but the snacks and daily fresh cookies (that weren’t there) are a let down for such an expensive hotel Drinks are on the more expensive side but poolside service is good Food at the hotel is okay Room was nice and quiet, beautiful views, comfy beds There is definitely room for improvement here with guest experience, but because of the view and location I would probably return

I could write a full paper on how much I adore this quaint place we (family of 7) called home for 4 day We stayed in the bigger suit room 105 and it had 2 bedrooms: one with 2 queen beds and the other room had a king sized bed There are 2 couch sleepers down stairs, which this place could easily accommodate 10 people

There are 3 porches One one the water, one balcony upstairs overlooking the water and lower porch, and a front porch that has a view if the pool, of you have little that need to be watched We can via train and didn’t bring beach items like chairs, umbrellas, ect They have a selection of chairs, umbrellas, wagons, toys, at a first come first served basis and best of all, it’s free Terrie (I believe her name was) is a doll She took suck good care of us Our train didn’t leave until 5:20pm, check out was 10am She let us use the pool hang out until we left for the train The best part of this gem is the Jolley trolly stop is right in front of the place You pay $5 a day and it makes stops allllll over Clearwater and will take you practically every where, aquarium pier 60 and all You can avoid the crowds but still get to the “main strip” with into a 10 min walk (it’s quite the stroll to do wvery day with 4 kids under 10) or hop on trolley ride Kids 8 and under are free to ride!!! Sonwe paid $20 to ride infinitely all day So worth the investment The convenience of the trolly and being away from the crowds makes this hidden gem a perfect vacation spot for families especially those with kids I highly recommend this place and i am kind of relictant to leave a review because I selfishly want it to remain hidden The home like feel draws you in It is very clean and they have all the amenities you need with a full kitchen, laundry, and 3 bathroomsyou read that right, THREE FULL BATHROOMS! My kids and mother in law could all take showers at one time and there was no waiting for eachother to get out We were able to wash our clothes before leaving and that was nice not to have to worry about laundry when we got home Over all the place exceedes my expectation I rarely leave reviews and this place deserved every second of my time taken to write this

This property is a vacation rental That being said if you’ve never used a vacation rental before know that you are started with the basic paper towels, toilet paper but then you need to go shopping! I recommend insta cart as you may not even have a bottle of water in hand and we chose Publix as they were quick delivery, and good selection online The staff here is very helpful with everything from checking in, shopping, site seeing, things to do, etc

This property is ONLY a 3 block walk to the beautiful clearwater beach ! ENJOY

Loved this place! The rooms are nice, large, clean, and recently updated The pool is great with plenty of space and seating, plus it is surrounded by 3 bars – bonus! Food and drinks at the bars & restaurants are priced right They have an awesome beach front stage that plays live music from 3pm to 12am Sun – Thurs

Music goes until 2am on Fri & Sat The staff is super friendly and accommodating The private beach is small, but beautiful, private and not crowded They promote and partner with a car service called Free Rides USA where the drivers work for tips – we found this to be super awesome and helpful to get around town quickly and affordable!! 5 stars all the way around!

I can’t say enough great things about Shephard’s Beach Resort!! From the moment my daughter and I pulled up we were greeted with a smile from the valet gentlemen, and the front desk Our room was amazing Beds are very comfortable, huge shower, and an amazing balcony

The sunsets are absolutely stunning! The pool is very nice and from there you can walk right out onto the beach We watched boats go in and out, had fabulous drinks and absolutely amazing food I can’t thank Shephard’s Beach Resort for making my daughter and I first time seeing the ocean the most amazing experience ever My husband and I plan to go back in November for our anniversary

This hotel looks older from the outside but the interior was updated and the rooms were cleanAmenities: There are a couple restaurants on-site, a small convenient store where you could pick-up little things you may need or have forgotten, snacks, beverages & they also offer great coffee and espresso drinks A long with a tequila bar, there are also 3 other bars

Free, nightly live entertainment & a night club that’s open Friday & Saturday nights Pool area has private cabana’s you can rent for the day and the beach offers beach chairs & umbrellas you can rent at a discounted rate if you are a guess at the hotelLocation: This hotel is situated on a perfect beachfront that’s both family or adult friendly There is a gas station across the street where you can stock up on alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks and snacks There are also plenty of nice restaurants within walking distanceTips: If you aren’t fond of loud music, request for rooms that faces the city not the ocean as there is nightly live entertainment We didn’t mind the music The island is really too small to drive The streets are busy not only with pedestrian but with cars and you literally could walk everywhere so don’t rent a car unless you plan on traveling away from the islandOverall, the service, amenities and the hotel was great! We will return!!

Our stay at Hotel Cabana was outstanding The rooms were very modern, clean and perfect for two people The pool was spacious, had plenty of lounging chairs and cute cushioned chairs to sit in at night under string lights! We were right across from the beach and a short walk away from all the craziness that Mandalay ave has to offer

It was nice to go out and have fun but then come back to some peace & quiet We had an early flight & were able to check in to the hotel early which was greatly appreciated The staff at the hotel was AMAZING and so accommodating! Would definitely stay here again

Jake Cruise

We loved our stay at the hotel cabana! It has all the charm of an adorable, down south motel, with the cleanliness and comfort of a 3 star hotel Impeccably clean, mini fridge and microwave, extremely comfortable bed with equally comfortable (and clean) linens The outside pool area has plenty of lounge chairs, and the pool itself is well maintained and clean

Sitting outside at night with the string lights lit is a must They also have beach chairs you can borrow (first come, first serve) and take to the beach The location is probably the best part Right next to the start of the residential area, at the end of the ever busy Mandalay ave, it’s the perfect combo of quiet (both at the motel and at the beach), but within easy walking distance to all the restaurants and shops Lastly, the staff were all extremely kind and professional, providing new linens and whatever else you may need They also provide complimentary coffee in the morning, which is always a plus for meI would say the only downside is the size of the bathroom As other reviews have stated, they are rather small The sink was probably one of the smallest I’ve ever seen, and the shower was a bit on the claustrophobic side Not at all a deal breaker for me personally, but if you are someone who needs a lot of bathroom space, it may not work for youWe will certainly be back any time we visit Clearwater in the future

Sarah Wells

I shared a more detailed review under the Hotel Cabana Vacation Rentals property, which is where we actually were This is the main property and office Everything was great! They do a great job and honestly cleaner than chain hotel brands

My brother who is a housekeeping manager at a property in Tampa also agreed that he was impressed with the upkeep

Other than location this hotel sucks The rooms are gross The walls haven’t been painted in decades

There are dirt all over them The floors were beyond gross We had to clean our feet before we went to bed Both my daughters feet looked like they had walked on ashes We complained They sent a maid Pretty sure she mopped the floor with dirty water because they were still grossYa they have WiFi, buts it’s the cheapest window of all time Couldn’t connect in my own roomI do not recommend this place

Kimberly Wells

For the price, I expected a clean room, a MUCH more comfortable bed, a shower that had pressure, and a working pool light and fountain This place being fenced was nice, and the 2 block walk to the beach was convenient However, when the bed is horrendous, AND I found a used dirty towel under the bed, as well as a dead dried up black bug on the sheet, as well as only having a single clean towel and no wash cloth I was disappointed

Perhaps the owners should spend more on maintenance and less in large TVs that are viewed only from an uncomfortable bed Extra towels would have been nice as well
