Stayed this passed weekend for our son’s birthday Room was clean, pool was intact and the breakfast spread

DELICIOUS Folks at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful The hospitality of the cleaning ladies was outstanding! The last night we were there ended up needing to do laundry Couldn’t get quarters anywhere Cam at the front desk went above and beyond to insure that we get the quarters to do the kid’s laundryThis hotel staff knows how to keep guests coming back!!

Sarah Mari

Not sure what the other recent review is talking about, I’ve been lazy about reviewing stuff lately but the staff at this hotel made me want to review itThe person who helped us check in, I believe her name is Alaina, was so friendly, helpful and courteous You can tell she takes pride in her job and wants the guests to feel appreciated

Every other subsequent interaction we had, both with Alaina and other employees was fantastic as well, whatever management is doing to find the right people, they’re doing it wellThe breakfast was good, we did enjoy the pool during our stay, and the location of the hotel is perfect for all we wanted to do, most of the attractions are within easy walking distance All in all, I would absolutely stay here again, but I definitely think management needs to be appreciative of the front desk staff especially, they’re great representatives of the hotel brand

I’m a germaphobe and this entire hotel was immaculately clean They have a great staff and are very accommodating(they offer free toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, body wash, shampoo, conditioner…) Room 222 has a wonderful view of Main Street

Clean Comfortable beds, excellent gym, nice smaller pool, elevators, large areas to rest on main floor, your literally steps to the Frankenmuth shops & restaurants(we didn’t have to use public bathrooms because the hotel was so close) The July 3rd fireworks were great and we were able to fully see them from our room! For being their busy season it was still an excellent stay Did I mention the free breakfast?!? It’s an elaborate breakfast and better than a small diner, so many choices… the morning front counter staff were friendly and very awake lol 10/10 for me, I will definitely stay here in the future!

My husband and I booked The Keep room to stay in, which included a jacuzzi tub, double rain shower, sauna, and breakfast delivered to our room We did a one night stay, but it was amazing! The Keep room was absolutely beautiful and cozy The whole bed and breakfast was elegant, the food was delicious, and the experience and time away was much needed and relaxing! Sub par food at the Hampton Inn in Saginaw, MI Food seemed old Oatmeal was dry

Signs around breakfast area said 6am to 10am On Monday morning they close at 9am If that is the case, new signs need to be put in place I was not informed at checkin of this time Staff was a little unhelpful when my cousin walked in at 9:15 and grabbed what was left, a bagelStaff didn’t come up to clean my Aunt’s room during their 3 night stay after requesting it on more than 1 occasion Maybe team is understaffed?Hotel looked new or recently renovated Gym was spacious and comfortable looking Lots of diamond parking which was nice, as people don’t seem to care of their status and park there anywaysI would request at a minimum that Hilton corporate gets them 2 new signs for the breakfast time, as there were 2 incorrect signs saying breakfast was 6am to 10am

We have always loved staying at Hampton Inn locations & that’s why we chose this for our trip to Saginaw Check in process was quite lengthy but I was patient because I understand there can be understaffing & every guests needs are different upon checking inWe got to our room & I always check around for the cleanliness of the room before getting settled in

The bed immediately grossed us out There were black hair all over the top of the comforter & with further inspection there were black hairs all in the sheets & on the pillows There was also a dried booger from I assume either a previous guest or staff member on the sheets under the comforterThere was a sticker on the bathroom mirror letting guests know all the extra precautions they were taking for keeping the rooms clean & sanitized for each guest I then saw the remote to the TV & it was covered in greasy fingerprints, which told me it was not cleaned at allWe’ve always chose to stay at Hampton’s because of they’re amazingly comfortable beds & luxuriously soft bedding, this location has made us change our mind & we will be searching for a different hotel option if we return to the Saginaw area The mattress itself was so uncomfortable & you could feel all the springs in your back & ribs The bed creaked & you could hear the springs every time you tried to roll over The pillows were extremely lumpy & the bedding was so scratchy there was no getting comfortable while trying to sleep hereMy husband had an extremely important exam the next morning for a possible job & we left the hotel extremely unrested because we were up all night from the uncomfortable bed & the inability to regulate the room temperature The unit made the air either freezing cold or very warm & it was so loud it would wake you out of the little sleep we did get The intake on the AC/heat unit was also so dusty it looked as though it had been neglected for quite a while

Very disappointed book room weeks in advance Have confirmation of one price, was charged over $60 more on my card Check my email and they charged the room $30 more per night

Call up to them and asked for a explanation and she tells me their is nothing they can do that is the rates per night even though I have email confirmation Our room had no sheets or blankets for the pullout, went down to desk and asked for some was told they were out Which is upsetting because When we arrived our room was changed we booked a queen double suite and was given a king suite, hence why we needed to use the pull outI had booked many rooms together and we were not even near each other, we were on separate floors I even called and confirmed everything a couple of days before and was told yes there is notes and we will all be by each other Once again I asked this to be fixed and was told that the lady who does the rooms didn’t even look at the notes When I ask to speak to her she blamed someone else When using the pool and hot tub no towels were available and once again we asked and was told none were available We had another group that stay and had their service dog with them and was charged a pet fee of $75, even when they showed papers for the dog This place should be ashamed of their self for charging a retired vet for his service dog

I went with my 14 y/o son and we stayed 2 nights during Spring Break We had the family suite which was very comfortable and super clean The bathroom was super tiny though

Keep in mind there are no microwaves in the rooms, but there are a few for use in public areas Price was good Arcade was amazing!! We enjoyed the pools and slides very much! Also we could not hear noises from other rooms which is a big bonus!I was very disappointed in the “World Famous Chicken” It was dry and didn’t seem fresh Also, the food prices are very high They were understaffed, but we received excellent customer service from every employee we encountered Thank you!!

Nathan S

Only downside and upside of the room is the heat and air are completely quiet, gentle and effective We had to turn on white noise on our phones The pillows are nice but a bit short

We LOVE the family fun center with 3 family pools, a tube slide, and no tube slide The mini golf at a par 2 is quick even as 18 holes Loved how the arcade uses cards instead of coins and tickets- make sure to put $20+ on a card to get bonus gamesGoogle maps directs you to the wrong side Instead use the main entrance on the south to check in then park closer to your room entranceAll in all a great value for the family and much cheaper than a great wolf lodge We left this resort once for food and fun shopping, but you could stay the whole weekend here

Adam Pfau

Came here for the first time with my brother last week for three days, and it was the most fun we have had at any hotel we have stayed at! We didn’t even touch our car during the three days because we were too busy enjoying the adults-only pool, mini golf, the arcade, and walking around the river shops and the surrounding area There are multiple pools (adults only, the family one with the slides, and then another one that has a cool waterfall thing going into it) The breakfast was incredible (they had a buffet breakfast both days we used it) and every single staff member we encountered were the nicest and friendliest people

The room was very nice – the TV was large and the shower was super powerful We both left the hotel deciding it was maybe our all-time favorite “quick getaway” Already planning our next visit to the hotel at the end of summer before my school semester starts So much stuff to see/do that you need to go back just to experience it all No complaints whatsoever

Alycia Olsen

We stayed here for a 7 year anniversary+ our first night away after having our daughters in 3 years When we first walked in the hotel the front desk person ignored us by walking to the back right when we walked through the doors Then when we finally got to the room the smell of the room was unbearable! We thought “hey let’s just go out to one of the restaurant and come back and maybe it won’t smell like this, worth a shot” I was wrong when we came back it got worse

So I went to the front desk person again asking if there is anything they could do? She looked to see if there were any other rooms available and there wasn’t She told me to open a window, that’s the best they could do The lady in line behind me was coming to complain about the same issue! I called corporate because they need to have something done about this That’s not okay to just let you rooms smell that horrible So the front desk manager sends me an email the next morning just saying she was sorry for not being able to do anything for me and to have a good!

Scott Stamper

My wife and I stayed for a night while we were in town vending at a local craft show The chlorine smell throughout the whole hotel was pretty intense We stayed on the second floor and could still smell it

Our room amenities were pretty good We did notice the trash cans in the room had no garbage bags in them and the toilet was dirty We noticed what looked like mold in the bathroom in the shower area at the base of the shower floor and near the ceiling We decided to use the hot tub and once in it couldn’t get over the fact that the water was filthy, between the floating hair and what looked to be skin we decided to get back out fairly quickly The rate was fair and overall we had a decent experience Could use a little more upkeep considering it’s a tourist town

BCQuickstep

So, first problem is that our room smelled like dirty socks We had to go buy a candle just to make it tolerable Then we discovered there was only one ice machine in the entire hotel, which was out of order

Front desk clerk offered no apology or estimate on if/when it would be repaired All the available parking was in the back, but for the first half of our stay, the key card reader wouldn’t open the back entrance, so we had to walk all the way around to the front every time We’ll definitely be staying elsewhere next time we’re in town

Everyone was so friendly! The rooms were very clean, very updated, and super nice! We weren’t told what time breakfast was when we checked in so I called at 8:55am (we slept in since we were up late with our two small children) the next morning to double check and they said 9am but that they would keep it open for an extra 5 minutes if we wanted to come right down That was something they didn’t have to do and went above and beyond for Super great service! Will recommend and will stay again for sure!

I had never stayed at this franchise before I ended up staying here twice in a week On the surface, everything looks great

The decor appears fancy The rooms are big You get a nice desk space The hotel has a fitness room I was pleased enough to return after my first visitUnfortunately, the luxury is only superficial The matresses are lumpy The pillows are flimsy The heater in my second room didn’t work very well The coffee is truly terrible (so bad that the truck stop coffee I had on the way home was incredible by comparison) The literal and figurative veneer is chipping in many placesI’ll also add that all of the decent hotels of Saginaw are within a quarter mile of this one The weekend I rolled in (and maybe this is a product of COVID-times), every hotel was full of locals partying It felt like a college dorm I don’t get the feeling the locals treat the place well It’s enough of a problem that there was a lot of signage and disclaimer about penalties for trashing roomsAll that said, I enjoyed my stay here, and given the current options, I would consider staying here again

LCD PLASMA INSTALLATION

Wasn’t impressed First when at registration desk there was an overwhelming smell of chlorine bleach I know they have a pool but still the smell shouldn’t overwhelm the lobby

Then looking on floor there are stains everywhere and much of the tile was wet (assume swimmers from pool) Second when we got to the room it was freezing and no way to adjust the thermostat so we shut it off and opened the window for the night Third was toilet and sink was slow to drain A problem with venting I am assuming since it was all plumbing in the roomOverall the room was not treated well Rips on the headboards, holes in the sheets, stains on the carpet and couch and sliding door for bathroom did not slide wellHonestly expected more as we have stayed in a few SpringHill Suites this past month on our travels This location needs to improve, housekeeping and management

This was the best hotel stay we’ve had as a family in a very long time! The pool was great for the kids, everything was very clean The suite we got was perfect for a family of 5, I highly recommend getting it if you have small kids! The staff was very friendly and helpful Breakfast was included and that was really, really good as well

The hotel is within walking distance to Wenonah park where there’s usually something fun happening like craft shows or bands performing, there’s also so many restaurants and cool little shops to check out near by too! We will be visiting again!!

Really nice hotel Stayed 2 nights and had a great time Highly recommend the breakfast, this is no ordinary continental breakfast they had Omlets, cereal, fresh bacon and bagels with a self serve waffle maker, and more

Very comfortable room, nice swimming area as well, could be a bit bigger but was well kept Well stocked bathroom amenities as well, detailed products such as make up remover wipes came in handy

Max S

Was told several weeks before check in that I would be able to extend my check out time by 2 hours if I needed to Then called the night before, was told to call the day of to extend the timeDay of arrives, and they wouldn’t let me extend the check out time because they’re sold out

Update: once they cleared it with housekeeping, they were able to extend the stay for an hour I’ve updated the rating to reflect the accommodation

I enjoyed my three night stay at Residence Inn during one of my work trips in Saginaw, MI The Residence Inn by Marriott is a reliable chain for quality when staying My Suite was a good size, the desk staff addressed any need I had

The kitchen manager in the morning did a great job having breakfast prepared each morning by 6:30am I was able to take advantage of the heated indoor pool and whirlpool in my spare time at night I appreciated that the pool facilities were open until 11AMMy only downside is my room was not turned over once during my 4-day, 3-night stay

Catherine Sconniegirl

The rooms and hotel were exceptionally clean, modern, comfortable, and well-designed Comfortable bed, good shower pressure, and Paul Mitchell bath products Hotel employees were polite and professional

There were a few minor inconveniences: only 2 bath towels, no sheets/blankets for the sofa bed, lacking some silverware (ex Only 2 spoons), overly chlorinated pool/hot tub, TV out of order in the gym, and breakfast items weren’t restocked after other guests absconded with most/all of the yogurt, chocolate milk, and hard boiled eggsI would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Saginaw

Te’Quaya

Stayed here for 3 nights while in town visiting from Virginia After having a horrible experience at the Renaissance in Detroit, coming here for the last leg of our trip, my fiance & I were greeted with a warm welcomeDuring our stay, I had the pleasure to work with Brandon

This man took care of us and made sure our stay was nothing less than perfect! He’s professional, personable, and such a sweetheart His kindness was the highlight of our trip (everyone had seemed angry and impatient the whole time we were in Michigan) Had great conversation and wished us safe travels as we leftI highly recommend this location! It’s clean, quiet, and in the perfect location This hotel will definitely be my “go to” every time I visit the area Thank you for having us and going above and beyond to accommodate us!

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have enjoyed it The rooms are very clean and spacious The bed is very comfortable

I love it being on the river and downtown so we could go for a walk and enjoy the river scenery as well as browse the shops The pool and hot tub was nice, the hot tub is a little on the small side for the size of the hotel, but the pool was warm enough to sit on the edge and put your feet in and enjoy a drink Overall I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again in the future

Michelle Thomas

Really enjoyed my stay there It was comfortable, clean and welcoming The food was good, the bed was really comfy and the pillows were awesome

I forgot my own and didn’t even think about it after the first night Our room had a river view and after a full day of learning, it was relaxing to watch the activities along the riverside It was also really quiet

Kacy McMullin

We stayed here for one night as a family getaway We paid extra for a river-view room and it was totally worth it! Our kids were enthralled watching a large barge go through the drawbridge from our room The room was very clean

The indoor pool area was super fun, pool was large and water was warm The hot tub also felt amazing We didn’t use the gym facilities but it sure looked nice The hotel is right next to a large park with a playground for kids I also really enjoyed being able to have our digital key on my phone on the Hilton Honors app We did not go to the in-hotel restaurant so can’t comment on that Definitely would return and recommend to others

They are all about customer service The room rates are great The rooms are very clean and they welcome the four legged family members The breakfast is always cleaned and stocked Any equipment that needs to be fixed is done very quickly If I could give them 10 stars I would Thanks so much

Gavin Dunning

Stopped in during a summer weekend and was able to get the last room available, after leaving an airbnb that wasn’t so clean, this place was super clean, smelled good and looked good! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, we requested housekeeping after 2pm and they had someone stay late to clean our room which we greatly appreciate! When we came back to the room it was cleaned and new sheets on the bed ready to go! Really enjoyed our stay

Jessica Jansen

The rooms were clean but the hotel was a little older They did have breakfast which was nice Security wise I felt uneasy because the side doors in building did not seem like they locked

There was a woman sitting on curb in parking lot smoking not sure if she was a guest or just hanging out It did not look good I forgot to add the staff was great

We had a blast! There are a good amount of things to do that fit a wide age range The small child play areas are just as good as the bigger kid/adult rides The water area and changing/shower rooms, as well as the hotel rooms were very clean

The staff is friendly and helpful We did the Eat and Sleep package which was amazing! We were able to enjoy the full chicken dinner at Zehnder’s and a nice buffet breakfast the next morning We went as a group of 10 and had connected rooms which was also great We will definitely come back again!!

This is a very well managed property! Hats off to whoever the general manager is There seems to be a good staff culture with all staff being attentive and smiling from house keepers to room service Our family loved the pizza and fruit cups! I would highly suggest if you can to plan a Sunday to Wednesday trip to avoid the large crowds for a more relaxing experience with less lines

We will definitely be back! Thank you for such a great family experience!

Had a great mini vacation last week before the kids went back to school This town wasn’t even on our radar until I came across it in FB and everyone we know seem to have been there and had great things to say about itThe water park was very nice

I’d say it’s even better then a Great Wolf Lodge The kids kept themselves busy while the wife and I relaxed with our cocktails No long lines at the slides and the water temp was perfect! The best experience was breakfast at the Elf Hollow Cafe They had such wonderful and polite kids working there Hats off to Quentin, Meagan, and Morgan for being such great people Would definitely come back here again

This hotel smells amazing the second you walk in, overall very clean! The pool and hot tub area was wonderful and well maintained The bed was comfortable and the hotel overall was quite and we slept well Ashley the concierge that greeted us was top notch 10/10

I haven’t had such professional service in the guest service industry in America in years It was refreshing for sure

Nice hotel, okay roomsUnfortunately the hotel is too cheap to allow you to have air conditioners / heater fan run constantly They replace the built-in climate controls with a wall mounted model that has the constant fan run option removed

So it gets very stuffy in the rooms because there’s no airflowThis is a minor thing, but to me it’s important and for that I give them three stars

Jennifer Gifford

Hotel is nice Main reason for staying was just a night away to enjoy a hot tub and check out their unique indoor/outdoor pool I did pay extra for the poolside room

Called day before arrival to make sure pool was in fact open and hot tub working Was told yes Hot tub was broke when we got there Pool area was ok but definitely need to be cleaned throughout the day They do not serve breakfast but offer a discount on breakfast at one of these nearby restaurants Hotel may also want to do something about the people that are living in their cars in their parking lot

The motel was clean, quiet, and appeared to be recently updated insideThere was a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, TV, and lots of closet and drawer space The bed was comfortable and there is a heater and a/c machine that worked well

While the outside may resemble a normal “motel” experience building, the interior is very comfy and well maintained Very similar to any sort of mid/upper middle end short stay hotel Memory foam mattress, ac/heat, decent bathroom amenities

Fridge is larger than most hotel accomodations and there’s even a microwave 1 (2 in the summer) ice/Pepsi machines conveniently located Would definitely stay here again

This was our first time here, and we loved it There’s no pool or jacuzzi, but still a nice place for the price They let us upgrade our room the second night for a couple bucks and they was even cooler

The staff is very friendly and willing to help out when ever they can All in all very good experience and we will for sure be back Thank you frankenmuth motel for all your hospitality

When I was looking for a place to stay in Frankenmuth, I didn’t want a huge placeI decided on this place and so glad I didI will start the ease of making a reservation it was really easy on their website, highly recommend

Next the check in, greeted with smiles and appreciation, also very helpful in recommendations, they are very friendlyNow for the perks of staying here:I know many hotels offer free breakfast, and boy this place really does, hot breakfast, you can have a cold breakfast, also they have ice tea, hot tea and pop all free all the timeThey have a fitness centerThey have a pool and jacuzzi open till 10:00 pm, great for family and couplesThey are pet friendly and have a dog walk in the backNow for the absolute best as to why you want to stay here you ask? They have free dinner , yes DINNER, from 5:30-7, and for the adults you get two free mix drinks, wine or beer to go with your dinner, you can take the drinks with you, we did and walked down Main StreetWe went on a Thursday so many of the stores closed at 6 or 6:30, but the walk to just enjoy the atmosphere is wonderful, you are at the start of Main street so you can plan to walk one side enjoy the shopping, then go the come back enjoy dinner, a swim, or gather in the dinning area and they have a tv, be sure to rest up to walk the other side of Main Street for the next dayThere dinner menu is also kid friendlyI highly recommend this place, great location and service

Well the hotel is located within walking distance to literally Downtown The price for the rooms are fair and they are clean I had an opportunity to met one of the housekeepers and Misty was doing a great job

Needless to say I enjoyed the cleanliness of my room The morning offers a complimentary hot breakfast with waffles, cold and hot cereal, scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice The evening offers a nice selection of snacks, soda, and a choice of beer or wine Very pleasant Lobby to meet the wonderful first that stay here I plan to come back

Staff were beyond nice and helpful Great breakfast buffet Relaxed and quiet setting, mostly older couples during my stay

No doors slamming or kids running the halls Would absolutely recommend this hotelOnly concerns: there was a used wash rag draped over the shower curtain rod at check-in Also, the parking underneath the building is kinda tight for full-size trucksDespite the mild concerns mentioned above, I would absolutely stay here again and certainly recommend this place to friends and family

What a joke! I call because I have a reservation to see what the accidental deposit is and they say $40-400 they wouldn’t give me exactly number Then the front desk lady kept breathing on the phone when I asked for manger since she can’t do her job Marriott has fallen to the worst hotels and customer service

It’s sad to see a great corporation gone down hill Now you just lost out on $250 because you’re employees are rude and don’t do their job!

Subpar Towneplace Suite nationwide, and based on price and being considered a 3-star on google, i’d say 3/5My second stay reminded me not to stay here again Worn out rooms and had to sign a “no-party waiver”

Yikes as a titanium elite memberBright spot – the Staff The staff let me pick/switch/change rooms on both staysNumber of Stays: 2Room: 1 bedroom suites2021/2022As a frequent business & leisure traveler, I’ve decided to go back through the years and review the properties I stay at most Hilton (Diamond) Marriott (Titanium Elite) This is my 5th in this effort

The room smelled like a men’s locker roomThe pool room was dirty and had no ventilation for the overpowering chlorine smellBathrooms by pool were rusty and disgustingThe breakfast was okLoud music and parties keeping me up thru the night

The pet odor was terrible everywhereI would not recommendNo towels by the pool when asked the front desk they said use the towels in our room, when we asked for towels for our room we were given attitude

Enjoyed my first time at this hotel I’m sure there will be more Room was clean and surprisingly spacious

New manager is a real nice guy, forgot his name but wish him the best Hot breakfast in the morning, popcorn in the evening Decent pool and a little game room for kids Good pillows and soft bedsCould use signage for the elevator Took a few wrong turns before I got the layout Lights in pool area were dim

Allison Vermillion

Our room was nice and clean, besides I had to wipe hand prints from head board Pool and spa area could have been better, spa needed more water and to be cleaned and it did not run but for a min every 5-10 min, it was very busy so we were not able to enjoy it, maybe think about having a designated time for adults only! Continental breakfast had a nice assortment but was not very good sausages were not cooked fully and everything was cold

Dave Mathers

Stayed recently while attending a funeral Room was clean and comfortable Walls were a bit thin, entire motel is non smoking (yes, smokers still exist), and the lack of entirely opaque window curtains that you can close weirded me out a bit

I took it on faith that the curtains were only transparent looking out, not in I was pleased to find a mini fridge for beverages and milk for morning coffeeAll in all, it was acceptable accommodation, even though there really is no place like home
