Stayed here a few years back and fell in love with the grounds but not as much as we fell in love with Martha & Richard They are both amazing and make you feel at home It is the place I proposed to my fiancé and the place we got married

Cant say enough about this Bed and BreakfastActually I guess I can, the breakfast here is amazing Cant wait to come back for our anniversary later this year!

noralee.

Celebrated our engagement here recently We stayed in the Lily of the Valley room which was amazing Martha gave us a quick tour of the grounds and showed us how everything worked in the room

It was a seamless stay I also appreciated the fans going when we arrived — the room stayed nice and cool! We accidentally slept in (seriously best beds ever!) too late for breakfast which we regretted, but it’ll be all the more reason to go back soon!

I highly recommend this B&B!I do not even know where to start but I booked a room to get away from home and celebrate my husbands birthday! Martha, the owner made sure she received us and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stayWhen I arrived in the room, some champagne and homemade cookies where waiting for us! Martha is a super host! The jacuzzi was super big, and complementary toiletries were provided! The B&B has a nice station for drinks and emergency kit!The house is super big and the garden is beautiful with a gazebo and many other places around the house to just sit and relax! The breakfast was amazing! Homemade food is the best!I just truly enjoyed the stay and appreciated the owners taking care of us!This is a must stay!

Very great location Convenient to the interstate and local interests Lobby is well laid out, the staff was incredibly friendly

The elevator was very slow and constantly made loud noise, basically hard to hear in the elevator The room was nice, but we had a view of the brick wall The air con seemed to struggle to maintain temp and low, very l low water pressure Otherwise, a pretty good stay

Moses Fernandez

This is my second time staying at this hotel And the gentleman working the front desk(Orlando) has exceeded my expectations The integrity and hospitality from this individual has gone a long way

Running into problems he stayed very composed and executed his solutions to those problems If this individual us not given more responsibilities within the company It is doing the brand a tremendous disservice

Alexandria Reeds

If I could give zero stars I wouldWe had to cancel our room last minute and the guy at the front desk said there was no cancelation fee Come to find out he charged my the ENTIRE stay anyways

The manager refused to give us our money back I will NEVER use this hotel They called my dad and my daughter a liar I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy and I would never stay here, even if it were free

We had a short stay for business We used the Drover facilities and stayed the nightThe service was excellent

The food provided for our meetings was delicious and had a great varietyMy room was small but comfortable The bathroom was clean and the brass, antique style shower was interesting and refreshingI’ll be back with family for a fun weekend Too many things within walking distance to name

Amber Morris

Staff was top notch The impeccable attention to detail with the decor was out of this world Every turn there is a surprise and if you keep looking, you’ll find more subtle touches of Americana and ode to the southwest

It smells delicious in the hotelOnly giving four stars because I feel like for the price of this hotel there should be in room dining and better coffee in the room It was really bad coffee and super cheap coffee fixings Have had better at CourtyardsThe pool seems kind of small for the size of the hotel as well, but it was really beautiful Would love to go back and experience this place in the winter with the firepit

Fred Peabody

The Hotel staff were friendly My room was large and clean Bed comfortable

Pool clean and well maintained Everything you could hope for The dining was the worst mess of disorganization I’ve ever seen They opened at 7AM, but were not ready and unable to serve the people expecting to eat So, on short notice, they announced that Saturday, they’d not open until 8AM People showing up at 830 were told to return in a few hours for breakfast They didn’t seem concerned of the inconvenience this caused I’ve had better breakfast service in a Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn or others So, if I have to seek out a meal at another place, I might as well stay at another clean, comfortable, cheaper hotel, then go to a real restaurant Coffee isn’t available in the Lobby, but $5 a cup at the restaurant Breakfast for a light eater can easily top $25

10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I have managed for hotels for over 10 years and never write reviews! However, I can honestly say I have never seen a more disgusting property! Not only is the staff unprofessional anddisrespectful but the management staff, including the GM, are never there! I’ve had multiple different events and given multiple opportunities to this property but after constant unknown charges, stealing, and uncleanliness I wanna make sure no one ever has to deal with a property like this!

Verna Serra

Jillian on the events team was fantastic Our box was delivered late and she went the extra mile to deliver it to us (outside of the hotel) after our event was overThe front desk staff was pretty nice

A couple less than impressive things:1 The hotel didn’t seem overly booked and they put me in a room with a flood light beaming into the window all night long2 The bartender was unfriendly, unwelcoming and unhelpful

Beautiful hotel right across from the Conference Center The beds are incredibly comfortable and the robes are so soft! Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping our room tidy while also being respectful with all of mine and my roommates belongings We had a lot of makeup, hair products, shoes, and clothes everywhere from changing multiple times a day for events… Truly felt like we had maid service

They deserve extra praise! 10/10 would recommend

Lalania Neal

I mean

the room was nice and the view was okay, but it’s a bit dated for the price Our room was pretty clean and very comfortable The floors were really dirty and I had to clean the hair and trash off the floor I noticed the dirty floors in the hallway also There was something that I hope was just chocolate on the light switch that I used a sanitized wipe to clean off I do like that they use large bottles in the shower that they refill rather than individual bottles which tend to just get tossed out The room was nice and cool, well appointed I forgot my macaroons in the fridge, so, hopefully they found them 😅 the lobby is beautiful and the front desk staff was amazing and answered all my tedious questions Room service was excellent 👌 👏 great food! This was our second visit and I’m thinking there’s no need to upgrade to a corner room for the view next time Valet service was also nice

Sarah Farison

I did not stay in a room, my family went for Mother’s Day brunch and it was fabulous The flowers and ice sculptures were beautiful! The food was fantastic, so many options to choose from, and there was even a section of items for children My children enjoyed decorating their own cookie! The service was great, everyone was very nice and polite

This is our second year in a row for brunch on Mother’s Day and can’t wait for next year!

This hotel is nice -ish I’ve certainly stayed at better Marriott’s, but it is pretty nice One piece of feedback – there was nothing on our door indicating we did not want our room cleaned

However when we returned from being gone the entire day (literally left at 8:00 am and did not return until midnight) our room had not been cleaned and we had no clean towels or rags My husband had to go down and get moreThe hotel is in a good spot and conveniently located to downtown For the price, it’s good I would recommend Just ask for extra towels when you arrive 😉

Laurie Giertz

Very roomy stay 1 bedroom suite Large living room and bedroom large TVs, kitchen that has an oven! Small couch could really fit a small sectional Across from I820 and Naval airstrip so can be a little noisy but we’ve had no problems sleeping

Bedding and towels nice Refrigerator has ice trays Breakfast downstairs daily Very friendly staff

Nobodys Business (Bonjour)

No service for 2 weeks, over charged and charged double then different amounts at random times putting my account to over negative $1,000 No towels, had to wash their towels, no blankets, no sheets for bed in sofa, general manager BUSTED through my door twice yelling at the top of her lungs for me to get to front desk cause card wasn’t authorizing when I had just spoke with the night auditor who confirmed I was checked in wrong and there was many fraudulent charges They put $400 in my account then took it out 2 weeks after checking out

I have a disabled daughter and 3 other kids 1 being the youngest and was treated with such disrespect and was terribly degrading especially bawling in front of other guests at the front desk trying to explain I had just spoke with her and the auditor Marriott will do nothing! Way more to tell but don’t have time or space!

While handy to Dickies Arena and Will Rogers Coliseum, as well as the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens, we don’t plan to stay here again Reasons:1 The rooms are exceedingly noisy

The refrigerator made a grinding noise when running and the AC unit made a sort of grinding noise before blowing cold air As it was very hot in Fort Worth, we heard these day and night, disturbing sleep2 Insulation or sound deadening in both interior and exterior walls was very poor We heard every footfall and conversation of those passing by in the hall In addition, a noisy freight train passing frequently in the night at a distance of a couple of blockswas clearly audible every time it rolled throughOn the plus side, everything seemed quite cleanHowever, at nearly $400/night cleanliness seems to be minimal expectation

Daryl Brown

Recently remodeled Nice staff TVs in rooms NEED to be on swivel mounts because they are in the corner of the room now

There is no longer a sport court so don’t go buy a basketball & pickle ball set for your family to play together because it’s patio seating and a bbq grill now Hotel is right next to Duck pond, Trinity River, green belt, and Dream Park Tons to walk/ride to around the area There is construction on West 7th so traffic can get congested

Very clean, fun bright colors… the rooms have a dorm type look with a desk and lots of places to store stuff The beds are comfortable I would definitely recommend

I think they are going for a young/hip vibe, but technically anyone can stay right? And just because it was an issue at the last hotel I stayed at… no funny air freshener smell Yay! Also, the sheets were soft

Wendy Lehman

Great hotel, the atmosphere was great, i liked that if you have the app and can unlock your door from that Room and bathroom was clean and updated Loved that it was just a shower, didn’t have to step in

Bed was comfortableLocation is nice, right off the highway Not in a scary location Wish the TV had a guide and the soft drinks weren’t so expensive Those 2 things are the reason why I gave it 4 stars

My stay here was very pleasant The staff was friendly and very accommodating I was exhausted from driving and decided to stay here for a night to regenerate my energy

The room was clean and the ac/heat was working properly Surprisingly the bathroom was pristine clean The bed I inspected and was clean as well I have had no issues Parking is a bit of a hassle but again, the price you get what you pay for Price was also affordable I paid $60 for a night

Abigail Thrailkill

Pretty average hotel Very clean Room service is a little confusing

We were told when we checked in that room service was only on Mondays Then we got a call asking if we wanted our room cleaned on a Sun We see house keeping in the hallways every morning…not sure what is up with thatWe did not have any hot water the first night but that was quickly resolvedIf you want a cheap place to stay that is decent, this is right for you!

Shannon Hammonds

Me and my family came from Arizona to stay here so we could visit family for a 10 day trip When staying here we thought the room was great and the bed was so comfortable I would have given this review a 5 star stay because even the cleaning crew was so awesome and nice! Here is why I give them 1 star, we had given a deposit for our 2 small dogs that did not in anyway destroy or mess up that room they were great the whole trip and they are potty trained and have a crate they go in as well

The problem was not with my dogs it was when we left they would not give us the deposit back at all and said that we took items from the hotel It was very disturbing to me because we cleaned it so very nice before leaving and left all the dirty towels and blankets and even undid the bed for the cleaning team and left it all nicely on the couch for them We were shocked how we were treated after the stay but the front office I know it’s only 50 bucks but it is the principle that we ddi not take anything and we deserve our money back very horrible front office team and I will be contacting corporate about this We did take pictures of how the room looked after the fact of us leaving

This is a great historic hotel in the heart of cowtown, excuse me, downtown Fort Worth The building isn’t overly huge, it’s in a great location, I mean Pete’s dueling piano bar is legit right around the corner (go there after 7pm for good drinks and sing loud damnit!) Had a minor issue with the toilet in the room which was fixed promptly when reported

Jason Vandiver

Wife and I checked in Thursday 3/24 Room was amazing complete with a soaker tub—a rare treat for the both of us However the remote control for the television was missing and the last guest’s k-cup was still in the coffee maker which we cleaned prior to use in addition to there not being any coffee or cups in the room

We called front desk who corrected the coffee situation but claimed that the ‘hotel engineer’ who works for them and the Hilton downtown would have to replace the remote Sadly, no remote came I know this is a small thing but when one pays $300+ for a room the coffee maker should be clean and the television should be usable Normally when one checks out the first question is ‘how was your stay?’ No such question was asked which would have been a Segway to explain what happened And when we did explain it wasn’t taken seriously Would not recommend as this place doesn’t know what the definition of service is; sticking with Marriotts moving forward which are cleaner and you have a remote for the television!

Gouvana I.

Loved our stay there!! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and rich in history Front desk and valet were so welcoming and friendly The bed was so comfortable and we definitely felt rested the next day

Not to mention, the location was amazing! Very close to Sundance Square and all the fine dinning We really enjoyed our stay!I would highly recommend! Be back soon!

Overall a great hotel Love the extended stay style but with very nice clean appliances What made it a lower rating was the noise

That highway penetrates every nook and cranny of those walls I think they got screwed by the builder on insulation? Either way they were friendly people, good setup and good breakfast Loved the dishwasher in the room Very nice

Really nice hotel Loved the history behind it and great update of the entire space Fantastic location, lots to see and do in the area

Staff were very nice and accommodating We also took advantage of the pool one evening and my kid loved the color changing lights under water Lots of friendly people at the bar and service was fast Lastly, our train was delayed on departure day and the hotel held our bags so we could check out and get a bite to eat Upon returning, we chilled out in a tucked away area with their free wifi, sofas, chairs, and lots of plugs to keep us comfortable until we needed to leaveUnfortunately, the cars driving around Friday and Saturday nights thumping their bass until midnight got old for my young kid But that is not the hotel’s fault, just know before you go! Perhaps a room facing away from the street would be better if street noise is an issue Cost was great, so would definitely consider staying here again

Darla

I regret not doing further research before booking my stay at this hotel This is a well known, respected chain and I have stayed at a Courtyard Marriott before with no issueHere, hotel staff were friendly (especially Jean) and did their very best to accommodate me in the beginning when problems began

However the “room” issues were too big to overlook and not be reviewed for future guestsI reserved a room with a patio There were several problems with this room The 2 biggest: the door to the patio would not stay shut and the patio window was completely SHATTERED from floor to ceiling Phone on the nightstand was dirty with makeup, glass ring marks on the night stand that were sticky The entire room was dirty, dusty, forgotten? When I called front desk to complain, I was told that housekeeping was “on lunch” and I would have to wait 15-20 minutes before he could help meI opted to go back to the front desk and speak with Jean, show pictures of the shattered glass to explain how serious the situation was Fortunately, she was able to relocate me into another room The broken window presented a safety and security riskI was relocated to a 2nd, smaller room and it too had signs of poor housekeeping and a shower that leaked leaving a pool of water on the floor after each use I did not complain any further – I gave up and accepted the situation A guest should not have to spend their birthday weekend fighting to be placed into a clean roomThe Corner Bakery inside the hotel was nice and the lobby bar/bar staff was pleasantTo date, I have received 3 very generic, apology replies to my review/complaintsI included photos with my review to their Operations Supervisor – no replyIf asking for a room with no dirt, leaks or broken glass is a not normal, than I guess my expectations are too high for Courtyard by Marriott/BlackstoneThankfully, there are many hospitality options in the downtown Fort Worth areaI don’t want another generic “we’re sorry for your experience” response to this reviewWhile there are happy guests and happy reviews, I just want people to be informed and also see the pattern of the countless reviews that include poor housekeeping and hope that this company does better for it’s future guests

Justin Shreiner

Staff has been great but unfortunately I’m 0-2 at this property Both times I’ve had issues with either no hot water or no water at all like today 7/19 (not hotels fault as the water main in front of their property busted) Room 805 wouldn’t cool below 73 degrees…

it’s 114 in FTW right now and I’d love it if my room cooled down enough for me to sleep They offered me another room which was nice but it’s 10pm and I honestly did not feel like packing up my entire room and moving as it’s more of a hassle than it’s worth The AC Marriott next door is basically the same rate and much newer/nicer with better amenities Love Marriott but can’t stay at this one again

On its face, this is a nice Hilton property My poor rating is the result of the lack of cleanliness of the maids The property is well appointed with a great fitness room, pool, outdoor cooking area and modern rooms

The front desk gal was very niceI checked into my room and everywhere I turned was filth I moved the hassock near the couch, and there was garbage behind it The dishes in the dishwasher with a ‘I’m clean, use me sign’ on the front were not only dirty but absolutely filthy The counter was never wiped downThe property could’ve garnered a 4-5 star review if it had cleaned the room not just thoroughly but more appropriately, at all I’m currently one night into a five night stay and am shopping my other options in the areaThe cleaning service of a hotel is so important; you’re living in the same space as other humans with undetermined levels of cleanness If you’re to have a reputation of being a clean place, especially given the current era, you HAVE to keep your hotel clean

Jessica Stewart

I made a reservation with this hotel because of the incredible experience I had before, with the Home2 Suites in Northlake Texas I made a reservation to stay at this location for 3 nights due to me visiting Texas for Spring Break When I arrived in my room and I pulled the comforter back , I notice that there was hair all over the sheets

I went into the bathroom and the toilet was dirty and the bathroom sink also had hair in it The counter top and the table where the chair sits also was nasty The carpet looks like it had not been vacuumed before our arrival I called downstairs to let the front desk know that I needed more sheets because apparently my room was never cleaned So, me and my husband ended up cleaning and wiping down the room ourselves I spoke with Princess at the front desk who was really nice and she informed me that I could come downstairs to get a clean set of sheets Hours later when I went to pull out the sofa bed, to put my kids down for bed, there was hair weave all throughout the sheets This is totally unacceptable!! No one should pay their hard earned money to travel and stay somewhere that is completely filthy The hotel management need to have a meeting with their housekeeping staff, about how they should be cleaning the rooms and changing the bedding after each guest stay, because no one wants to arrive to a nasty room that wasn’t properly cleaned after the last guest I definitely would not be staying at this hotel again

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed for one night Let’s start with the positive Didn’t hear any noise while we were sleeping

The bed was very comfortable, except for the pillows It was very quiet The showerhead was amazing, and also the staff was extremely friendly! Now the negatives; our granddaughter had to sleep on the sofa bed, no sheets or blankets to be found so we had to go downstairs to get them Only 2 towels in the room for 3 people, had to go downstairs again Got in the shower, empty soap container When you pay over $16000 for a hotel, I expect these things to be there Room was a little dirty and pretty outdated “Hot” breakfast wasn’t impressive Only old eggs and waffle maker The only fruit was apples that had definitely seen their better days Would NOT stay there again

Booked a King Bed room two weeks in advance at $21612 with taxes for Saturday & Sunday with check out on Monday I arrived to be told that I needed to pay $330

89 After I showed my confirmation email it went down to $29887 They were not able to explain the additional charge and told me that reservations changed the rate after I booked the room I am a Diamond member with Wyndham so I immediately called them I was transferred four times and hung up on once The call took 2 hours, I sat in the lobby for two hours without assistance from the GM who could have manually adjusted the rate upon my check in The front desk clerk – Liz was quick to understand the error and discuss it with the GM & Customer Care and Reservations This location charged my card $15000 at 2 pm and check in is not available until 3 pm Then I was told they have a deposit on top of the taxes They ended up canceling my reservation and creating a new reservation for one night and asked me to extend my stay for the next day I made it into a room three hours after I arrived at the hotel The room had hair in the bed, a dirty shower and the bathroom had water damage to the sheet rock as well as damage to the bottom of the bathroom doors I attached pictures as proof I will no longer go to any Wyndham properties after this experience, they lost a Diamond customer

I should have read the reviews because now I realize that this is a pattern They are thieves The manager is extremely rude

I booked the hotel for four nights and paid $36106 then another $50 that I didn’t understand when i got to the hotel I came from Connecticut to find an apartment in Forth Worth, i thought it was going to take days to get it but i got it on the second day so I decided to check out I asked them if they would refund and the answer was YES! If they had said no i would have stayed for the entire 4 nights Now i pack up and go to the front desk, the manager comes up and instead of crediting my account with $18370 he debits me instead of $18370 I realized it when i got to my apartment So now you owe me my refund plus the debit you just made I honestly thought it was an unintentional mistake until i called the hotel and spoke with the manager This guy was extremely rude and eventually told me to take it up with my bank I haven’t gotten my refund back or the second debit he made I’ve been back to the hotel twice and all effort to get back my money has proved futile If you would not refund the money then at least give me back my money that you claim you mistakenly debited I need help in getting my money back These people shouldn’t be allowed to do this to people

I was in this hotel in room 226 in March The hotel seems nice (not very clean though) and they are renovating some areas They charge you a $50 deposit upon checking in, but what they don’t tell you is that theere are bedbugs in the room

I can accept almost anything but bedbugs They are disgusting and you can carry them back home in your luggage without noticing When I told the front desk about it, they didn’t seem really surprised They didn’t offer any compensation or solution other than a “sorry about that” I don’t care how clean or renovated a hotel seems if it has a bedbugs problem Check the beds upon entering the room

Friendly staff and clean, comfortable room Nice, clean outdoor pool and firepit sitting area Location is great, being on very edge of stockyards, less than 2 blocks from the middle of everything, so driving isn’t necessary

However, they are Valet only, charging $20 when they just park the car outside maybe 50 feet from the entrance Breakfast not included, but there are worthy options nearby

Had a room booked for 3 months in advance When I showed up to check in, they told me my reservation had been cancelled I was left with nothing and it basically ruined our weekend getaway

Turns out they cancelled my room because I had booked at a lower rate in advance and when the hotel discovered a popular concert was being held near by they cancelled my room and sold it to someone else for a higher rate They didn’t even bother to tell me until I showed up expecting to have a place to stay Very heartless folks

A good shower is what I care for and I couldn’t get one here I’m very loyal to the Marriott brand, I’m staying at least 60 nice every year and I try to stay with Merit whenever I can This time I regretted it

the showers have a white walls that are stained, and the water pressure is unacceptable low You can’t take a shower with such a low pressure I’ll recommend y’all try Somewhere else

Stylish but not practical- especially if 2 guests No where to set a suitcase for accessing your things, no where to hang your towels or a robe in the bathroom A bed and one chair in the room about a foot off the floor and not really functional for a hotel room

No tissues, lotion is inconveniently attached to the wall in the shower; water sprayed out the end of the hand-held shower where it attached to the hose spraying the occupant with cold water when beginning a shower Could be great with a few simple additions, like a towel rack and a table top or extra chairs in the room

Our room was very unsanitary hair in the shower drain empty shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower no towel rack very cold floors know where to iron your clothes no hair dryer room was very bright in the morning security door fell on our heads was locked out because we forgot a phone child was locked in the room and no way to get back into the hotel until hours later this is not a safe place to be at Doors do not lock or unlock for anybody to come into your room this is a very unsafe hotel to stay at do not stay thereWe will be taking action on a lawsuit against this place

While staying at this hotel it was by far the worse experience in my life I booked two nights at the Hotel Revel for my boyfriend’s birthday We had dinner close by and I booked two nights

It was a loud smell of marijuana when we pulled up to check in Around 9pm First night was nice we went to dinner and enjoyed the night in our room Upon waking up we shower and now just laying around relaxing all of the sudden a lady with blonde hair barged into the room asking questions about a call about weed smoke I asked her who she was because again she just came in and started talking She then advised she was with management but didn’t state her name I told her we didn’t have clothes on and how is it ok to just come in the room without knocking my privacy was completely violated and I will not ever recommend a place that violates privacy I will definitely be seeking legal action against my rights being violated while staying at this hotel
