Centrally located to EVERYTHING downtown Walked to several outstanding eateries and pubs Greeted upon arrival by Paul and taken to our room

When leaving he was busy with other guests but ran out to our vehicle to say goodbye and thank us for staying Rooms were clean and very comfortable Breakfast was OUTSTANDING and lots of stories told during about the Inn’s history Be sure during breakfast to feed Max the resident rabbit a blueberry he loves them

Chris Woods

Paul was our host/jailer and made the entire experience completely awesome! From his courtesy to his breakfast, I was blown away!! We were treated like family and anything we needed or wanted was supplied!Paul would check on our itineraries and make sure everything was a go, plus he would recommend and help us plan our adventures if we needed suggestions! On the day of our Ann, we came back from several tours to find our rom decorated and covered with rose petals! Talk about going the extra mile!!!The tour of the B&B alone is worth the trip! If you visit the Bourbon Trail, this is the place to stay! Friendly and inviting full of history and charm!

Very friendly hotel staff, pet friendly, nice rooms but not a true suite The kitchenette in the room is functional, nice full-size refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher There’s a nice cabinet in the lobby with additional kitchen appliances

They have a large outdoor patio with gas grills and picnic tables Free laundry room and nice sized fitness room The bed was very comfortable Over all great experience!More of a 3 star experience: the furniture in the room was not comfortable The dishes available in the room were sparse Our microwave died after one use, but we had too much stuff to switch rooms (they tried repairing but couldn’t) We made do and don’t fault them, but it did make cooking more difficult The food pantry in the lobby was a little low on variety and inventory Would love the opportunity for recycling

I stayed here for an extended time and would not necessarily recommend it due to the lack of drawer space and closet space Dawn at the front desk was wonderful to work with and always fun to talk with The bed and the linens were comfortable

Housekeeping came in every 4 days to clean the room and did a great job The gym had adequate treadmills but very few free weights or weights in general Swimming pool looked nice and is indoor however I did not use it

Brooke Poe

The hotel is clean and the staff is super nice and accommodating! However, the beds are horrendous, there weren’t enough pillows for our family, the lamp shades had holes in them, there were stains everywhere, and breakfast, on the weekends, isn’t served until 7am! As a baseball family, I probably would have picked a different hotel with an earlier breakfast time if I had known Again staff was awesome, but it’s clear you get what you pay for with this property

Highly recommend the Bourbon Manor B&B It is a beautiful, cozy, historical spot that you won’t regret visiting The customer service from our booking to our stay was exceptional! Everything about this place is charming

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! The common spaces were also a nice touch where you can gather and visit with other guest The breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful historical dining room! I could go on and on! We will definitely be returning for a visit soon!

My wife and I came to Bardstown for our anniversary and stayed at the Bourbon Manor This old house has tons of character, great outdoor spaces to relax, a fantastic breakfast, and is very close to the center of town The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay

It seemed like there was plenty of parking, and the a/c kept that old house cool despite temperatures in the 90s Bathroom was a bit quirky but everything was perfectly clean and the quirks are par and parcel of a beautiful old building like this We’ll be back for sure!

ddeh penn

Our stay at the Bourbon Manor B&B was just lovely 🙂 Todd and Tyler are fantastic, so welcoming and fun! Stephanie was great and makes the best drinks The food was amazing and they wonderfully accommodated my gluten free celiac diet every day The room was beautiful and bedding so comfy

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!!!

Adequate for an Affordable StayRooms were clean and well equipped with dated furniture that was functional There was ample storage and room to be comfortable Common areas needed attention especially the buildings grounds, weeds everywhere with a dead tree right outside the front entrance (first impression)

Overall if you’re looking for a quiet, average place to stay at a good price point with no frills this will work for you If traveling through I’d stay again but would not use this hotel for a long-term stay

Brandi Scott

Located off Fern valley road quiet hotel away from the interstate Rooms are very clean that front desk was very helpful during my entire stay Breakfast is Continental and good assortment of items They also have meeting rooms and swimming pool

I would suggest this hotel to anyone looking to stay somewhere economical as well as comfortable

Susan Lanham

I stayed on the 13th its now the 23rd and I’m still waiting on my deposit Uuuggghhh My husband and I travel often and I have never experienced anything like this They say 100% should be returned and they returned half and no one knows why

They tell me they are still working on it and tell me to have a nice day How, when there has been no kind of compensation for their mistake It was a nice place but unless something changes we will go elsewhere next time

Had an amazing experience with a wonderful staff I enjoyed several meals, highly recommend the blackened shrimp & grits The boxcar named desire was a great drink to have with it

I visited with my daughter looking forward to staying in such an old building, like sleeping in a museum We enjoyed walking the neighborhood our highlight was the ice cream counter at the drugstore across the road Our room was clean, comfortable and we had a wonderful experience

Kathy M

Great food and history in this one location We had a few of the special drinks and they all were good The Kentucky Brown was by far my favorite and the club sandwich did not disappoint

We were able to learn a little about this establishment and the rooms they offer at the inn What a cool place You just need to go and see for yourself!

Justin Lucas

DO NOT STAY HERE Each night your key will become deactivated and you will lose access to your room You will need to contact administration to reactivate your key

If they are not around you are out of luck They do not care Our room did not have soap We asked for soap They said they would give us soap They did not give us anything They don’t care

Loved our stay here as we passed through Louisville! The room was clean and updated The check in was super fast and efficient (so nice after a 14 hour long car ride) I was grateful for the nightlight in the bathroom as well, to keep from using the bright overhead bathroom lights at night

Complimentary breakfast was good and right on time at 6am Staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient This was in stark contrast to a Holiday Inn Express we stayed in a few days before Haven’t stayed in a Hampton Inn in years, but will now be looking for them when traveling

Catherine Vance

We had a wonderful experience staying here We were on the road in our moving truck and found this stop along the way Pet friendly (did have to pay a small fee), clean rooms, and great breakfast in th morning

We had a moment there that we thought we lost one of cats in the room and two staff members did everything to help us find this cat Turns out she had found a hidden space which took us an hour to find We really appreciate the kind staff that helped us find our cat! I would recommend this hotel to everyone that is staying in the area, you will get great, kind service!

Margaret Jones

This Hampton Inn was affordable except for the 75 dollar pet fee The establishment is modern and airy and cleanThe pool was closed which was extremely disappointing

Nice place Great employees Great base price

I stayed at the Louisville Kentucky Holiday Inn First time visiting Louisville I was there for a wedding

The hotel was nice and clean Comfy beds The breakfast was great Never had it like that in a Holiday Inn Great location Close to airport downtown and other places All said reason for 3 stars the staff was not very friendly They need to brush up on customer service 😒

0 Stars isn’t enoughTLDR- EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL GM Robert Cecil told me he was calling the police because my wife brought our dog into the hotel

My wife and I had been traveling across the country with our dog and chose this hotel because they advertise on Priceline as being “Pet Friendly” Our day was planned around stopping at this hotel and we arrived at approximately 7:20 pm While my wife checked in she told the front desk assistant that our dog was with us expecting a pet fee and was not informed that pets were not allowed After checking in I took the bags up to our room while she went to park with my phone still in the car (this becomes pertinent later) Once she entered the lobby with our dog and reached the elevator the same woman who assisted her at check in told her that dogs aren’t allowed and demanded her room number With me up in the room and no phone my wife said she needed to come get me so we could leaveWhen she got to the room and informed me of what happened we were both obviously upset that we would not be able to stay She immediately began making phone calls to find a hotel that would accommodate us and our furry friend while I began to repack our suitcases Within a minute our room phone range and the woman at the desk began asking if I had a dog and telling me that we had to leave I informed her that we did, my wife told me what happened in the lobby, and that we were leaving momentarily A few minutes later the phone rang again and it was the GM Robert Cecil On the call he told me that I had to get out or he would be calling the police When I tried to explain that I had just spoken to someone at the front desk and we are about to leave he became extremely aggressive and said that if we were not out in 10 seconds that he was calling the police and quickly escalated that to telling another employee to call the policeIf this is the way the employees here treat people over a misunderstanding between the hotel policy and what they advertise on 3rd party sites after we made it clear at check in that our dog was with us I cannot warn you against staying here strongly enough Robert Cecil has ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS being a manager after the way he treated me and my wifeI hope the owner of this location reads this and is able to reach out, I would love to discuss further with you With nowhere else to go we ended up next door to the Marriot Bonvoy location where Arielle at the front desk was extremely helpful getting us a room and informed me that you own both locations

Monica Alexander

In this order, we received total hospitality: Melinda, Tiffany, Alyssa and Candice These HOSPITALITY professionals showed us that excellent care still exist! Whereas the IHG Hotel located at 830 Phillips Lane, Louisville, KY just gave us customer service, the IGH, 447 Farmington Road, in Louisville had a goal of guest satisfaction! We left and went to the IHG on Farmington Road Upon checking in, Melinda assured us up front, “If there is anything thing that you are dissatisfied with, call me or come back to the front desk

Let me know I will personally make it right!” She said it and meant it! Candice, another wonderful front desk professional was just as friendly, attentive, and profession Alyssa and Tiffany, the other two professionals who provided great dine-in and carry-out food services Refreshing drinks were the highlights but these four professionals and super clean room,, we give a 5-star rating! Both my husband and I are in the hospital / patient care industry We hear employee complaints constantly Throughout our entire stay, we never heard employees complaining or even discussing ‘behind the scene” problems with co-workers or management This is a rare occurrence! Staff seemed grateful to be employed and happy to be around their co-workers Another valuable company trait! Amazon is good but these four professionals, Melinda, Tiffany, Alyssa and Candice made this Holiday Inn stay Fantastic!

The last time i was there, it was still on the riverboat; so i was excited to see the new casino The casino itself is very nice, the staff very friendly and helpful I tried the new virtual blackjack and video roulette, didn’t care for them to much; i like the interaction with the dealers

There wasn’t many table games open, but i did get there at 9am so maybe that was why They have raised the table minimum from $5 to $15, which i didn’t care for I will go back once more and see if my experience is any different All in all a very nice place to go and have fun

Yo

This review is based on our stay in the hotel, the casino was fine We stayed for one night to celebrate my birthday and upon arriving in the hotel we at first didn’t notice the lack of cleanliness until we came back up from a long night of gambling Once we realized how dirty the room was I was honestly shocked

I didn’t even sleep under the covers because I felt so uncomfortable There are stains all over the borders of the bed they look like they’ve never been wiped off There was a coat of dust over all the furniture, once again not wiped off There were stains on the curtains, couch, and even the little table next to the chairs The toilet was stained as well I took pictures of everything and would post if I could simply the room didn’t look like it had been properly clean and from a 4/5 star reviewed hotel I’m beyond disappointed with the lack of cleanliness Also when checking out, they didn’t even ask how we enjoyed our stay, just rushed us away, we did mention there was dust on the furniture and all she offered was to call housekeeping and did in the middle of us talking Also spent $30 on breakfast that was cold on arrival and tasted like hospital food If you plan on staying for your birthday, I highly suggest looking elsewhere

Barb Carlile

This place is really nice and the staff is exceptional The breakfast crew not only is polite and friendly but they can cook delicious food It’s clean and comfortable

The casino is really fun and again staff is exceptional I saw jackpots hit at this casino and the poker room is great Southern hospitality Don’t bother going to Caesars Indianapolis because it’s horrible No happy winners there and poker room uses tiny printed cards on ugly beige table and dealers aren’t trained properly Different owners

Sonoran Monsoon

It’s fine The room was clean when we got there, and the front desk was accommodating however, after a week of staying here the room was due for a refresh Apparently people just don’t show up to work, and there’s no backup plan

The room stayed Unrefreshed until the other shift’s staff came in It’s just moist inside all the time, literally dank It’s a cheap hotel, and it’s starting to show The paint isn’t well done, the shower curtain rod is sagging The breakfast was good though, and the friendly staff makes cookies later in the evening, so that’s a nice touch It’s a fine place to spend a fight or two, but at the end of the day, it’s a budget hotel Expectations shouldn’t be that high anyway

Justina Onnebane

We got here and half the electricity was out

the ac/heater didn’t work I waited a long time to get checked in too There was a birthdat party on our level and i just heard the kids running around/ screaming/and jumping all night long Though, the rooms are nice and clean, their breakfast wasn’t that bad, and the staff were really accommodating and nice

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Fort Knox Had a nice, clean, fairly large room Comfortable bed

Pillows were a mixed bag – one was pretty nice, the other two felt like old foam pieces, but still manageable Floor I was on was quiet (I got a room not facing the pool) AC worked quite well even on a couple of very hot days Breakfast was pretty good, and coffee was tasty – in an actual coffee pot no less and always full Staff was friendly Location decent, pretty close to Fort Knox visitors entrance Overall I give this place good marks and a great value for the price Would stay again

Jenna Harris

My stay was absolutely amazing Until check out The pregnant first shift lady left me sitting there while she went home and didn’t tell the others what I was waiting for so I waited almost 40 minutes to check out

Not to mention she was barking orders and belittling the night shift desk clerk in front of customers and her co workers Other than that it was great Good food amazing service and clean pool

Ethan Hayes

The room was not well maintained with the drain plug of both the sink and tub non-functional The issue was reported but not fixed during my 1 week stay Room service was otherwise fine, but breakfast was mediocre at best

Very close to the main Wilson gate of the base, very convenient, government discount offered as well The pool was fine, but I had to bring a spare towel down from the room There were a couple weddings going on in the basement through the week apparently The Wifi was occasionally quite shoddy which made office work very annoying of not impossible at times The toilets in my room and those of my coworkers were all quite weak

This was by far one of my best experiences with hotels I have never been to a hotel where ALL staff members were pleasant and accommodating Anything that I needed was provided without hesitation

My kids loved hanging out in the lobby The pool was comfortable The rooms were super clean and the breakfast was perfect It was the attention to small details that will keep me coming back

Suzanna Yuhasz

This was a very nice hotel, I like that they give you bottles of water at check-in Front desk staff was friendly The room was nice, the mattresses are medium hardness and comfortable (I noticed other reviewers varied in whether they thought they were hard or soft)

I liked that toiletries were in large dispensers rather than the disposables hotels often have, also they have lotion and liquid hand soap Breakfast was satisfactory, the pancake machine was great and they had a variety of toppings for them including powdered sugar which my son prefers and is rarely offered The biggest (only?) con may not be typical for this location but the coffee at breakfast was literally the worst coffee I have ever had I added my normal cream and sugar, it was undrinkable I doubled my normal cream and sugar and it was still undrinkable, I dumped it in the toilet

Todd Crow

This hotel is absolutely wonderful! The property is absolutely spotless- I’ve seen employees dust and clean items I wouldn’t have even thought of! Wonderful complimentary coffee/tea bar and an outstanding breakfast with tons of hot and cold options There is a large common area in the main lobby with plenty couches, table seating, and workspaces, as well as a pool table and a large TV The rooms are very nice and efficient with plenty of outlets and a large shower

Above all else, the staff is the greatest part of this location I have had nothing but good experiences with every employee from housekeeping all the way up to the GM Top-notch service and I’ve truly enjoyed my days here! Please don’t hesitate to stay here if you’re ever in the area because you certainly won’t regret it!

First, a couple of high points The staff is great They are extremely pleasant and helpful

They honestly could not have been more pleasant Also, the hotel is cleanUnfortunately, that’s were the good stuff ends Here are the negatives:1 Low water pressure Very aggravating when you’re trying to take a shower or flush a toilet2 Amenities: Everything is dated to 2005 That means, furniture, light bulbs, TVs, carpet, pool… the only updated amenities were the key reader on the door and the thermostat3 Bathroom: there was no dry mat for stepping out of the shower and with two queen bed room, that sleeps four, we only two wash cloths Also, there is no working exhaust fan in the bathroom4 Breakfast: With 45 minutes remaining for breakfast… almost everything is empty The dining are is almost full, but most people are frustrated that they are having to make due with slim options Finally, a few of us asked for more omelets to be brought out… five minutes later, we had omelets for 85 Coffee: the lobby and breakfast area only had light roast and decaf coffee, and the light roast was pretty weekIn summary, I travel quite often and I have stayed at more Hampton Inns than I can count This facility fell way below my expectations for a Hampton Inn They either need to invest significantly to make upgrades or just sell this hotel to a lower standard chain

Scott Randolph

The bed was horrible Springs poking you and sounding like they’re about to break Rooms were very dated

Pool was closedStaff was very friendly and breakfast was pretty goodRoom was mostly clean other than the silverfish in the tub and a sticky bathroom floor

Jenny

Very old and unkept property Weeds, trash everywhere, overgrown landscaping, filthy elevators, no AC in the hallways The bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on

You can literally feel the springs in the mattress This hotel is definitely not up to standards for Hampton InnIn addition as a Diamond Member, we were not offered the snacks at check in Will not stay here again
