Good, not great We’ve been here a few times now The first times it seemed very noisy, as far as other guests

Our most recent visit we were on the top floor and right next to the elevators I was a little worried about noise from the mechanical room, but we never heard it This was definitely our quietest experience so farThe staff was always incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room was very clean The kitchenette is a nice touch at this hotel chain and came in handy with a baby using bottlesThe location is a little odd and isn’t accessible directly from a road, you have to drive to the back corner of a parking lot Otherwise the location is nice and quietThe breakfast is sub par I’ve had much better breakfasts at much cheaper hotels You’re basically restricted to either microwaved frozen breakfast sandwiches (I could only handle a few bites of mine), a waffle station, oatmeal, or typical cold hotel breakfast fare, and even then their selection of fruit was underwhelming, as were their other cold food offerings In an effort to be fancy and modern they laid out their breakfast area in a really confusing, counter intuitive way

I was reading the reviews before I booked a room here, not going to lie I was a little worried After saying for 3 days I was very surprised Everyone working was super friendly and very helpful

The room smelled really good throughout the entire trip, although the hallways did kinda smell like pot/cigarettes, if you’re in the hallway for a short period of time, it wasn’t really bothersome The room was decent, very big and had everything you need, BUT the room was kinda falling apart: wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, mildew was on ceiling, you can tell there was water damage also on the ceiling, and the bathroom hook was broken so when I placed my towel it fell off that seems like a lot of issues but it really wasn’t I didn’t mind it too much because everything else in the room made up for it I just figured I would leave it in a review so it is made aware The shower was perfect, nice water pressure and stays hot The pool was probably the best part about this hotel, the water was warm and I’m not sure what they use but it wasn’t chlorine which is amazing! I would recommend staying here because its a decent price for what you get

Fred CD

Very clean! Rooms are truly fully functional complete with a dishwasher a real refrigerator along with anything else you might need at of the kitchen including plates and forks Only drawbacks where when I checked in at midnight my keys did not work I was informed by the front desk guy that the key maker was not working so we did the digital key on my phone but that work sporadically Very unfriendly front desk girl as well when I came down the next morning to see if I could get a regular key I did not hear good morning did not see a smile on her face she actually looked like she didn’t want to be there

Breakfast ends at 9am which seems early compared to most hotels that the breakfast ends at 10 am

I was a little bit skeptical about this place at first because it is an inn (remind me of a motel) But it turns out to be great The room is clean and has everything that hotel provides

The location is obviously not downtown, but if you have a car this should not be an issue It has a really convenience access to the freeway Bus no 209 can take you to downtown too The one other great thing that we found is it’s really close to a historic farm You must check that out Really cool and great photography location

Laura Lee-Haycock

We stayed here for a family reunion in June 2022 The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable Service was good and employees were very friendly

It is a bit outdated but not horribly I would recommend a change in the breakfast menu It’s the same things everyday and no waffle maker Coffee is awful We only ate the breakfast twice due to the reason above No variety at allParking is a bit crowded and if there is no spaces in the front you have to park in the back which is not well lit and a but unsafeI would stay here again in the future I would just plan to eat out for breakfast

Monica Murariu

Personnel was so amazing and so helpful, on top of that we really appreciated the shuttle from and to the airport, the location right next to the ski bus, the gym, the pool and the jacuzzi Maybe too much chlorine in the jacuzzi, however that didn’t stop us from spending some relaxing evenings there The rooms were not the most amazing feature of this hotel, but the sofa was so much appreciated! So 4 stars for the location, jacuzzi, sofa and the shuttle for the price! I’m going to return for sure

It’s adequate but I probably wouldn’t call it good, and definitely not great Room reeked of cigarettes, walls are VERY thin and you can hear even quiet conversations from neighbors When I showed up the room wasn’t very clean–a wad of toilet paper still in toilet, some small bits of garbage on the floor, the dishes in the room had spots on them

Nothing on its own was enough to complain to the front desk about, but added together they were enough that I wouldn’t stay here againStaff was friendly, complimentary breakfast was decent, the rooms themselves are comfortable enough

I often stay at this property when in town for business The staff has been great since day one and treat me like family Our company booked a meeting room for a few days and had several team members staying on property

The entire stay went off without a hitch and Jeffrey was amazing and took great care of us He was always available and whenever we needed something he was there If you are in town I highly recommend this facility for hotel or meeting needs

Andres Sanchez

This place is incredible Every time I walk through that front door I’m greeted by amazing and professional individuals From day one the supervisor “Hope” was accommodating and could probably give a seminar on customer service

I’ve stayed at this specific hotel for about a month and Spencer at the front desk was able to answer every question about the area and point me in the right direction with confidence Overall I hope to come back to this hotel in the near future The employees make establishment a great place to stay and that is why I can confidently give this place 5 star rating

We were in Salt Lake last week for my daughter’s volleyball tournament We were pleasantly surprised with both our hotel and the wonderful people working there Cold weather during spring break was not something we we’re looking forward to but our experience at SpringHill Suites West Valley was relaxing

Miguel, the general manager is a great person The ladies at the front desk always greeted us with a smile Our room was spacious and clean The workout facility was clean and adequate Breakfast was perfect for a family on the go early in the morning The location is a fairly short drive to the downtown convention center My wife and I enjoyed a few drinks across the parking lot at Pins and Brews Red Robin, Starbucks, In and Out Burger, and a DQ in the mall…we enjoyed our stay in SLC and our home base, SpringHill Suites

Jerry Zhong

Overall a solid night stay, and location is very convenient However, the breakfast was slightly disappointing: lacking a bit of varieties compared to other marriotts we’ve stayed at Also, if you arrive in an EV and is planning to use the charger at the hotel, take it with a grain of salt since both the plugs were out and I had to go to downtown to top up

Markia Lewis

We stayed here on business and we really enjoyed our stayThe staff was friendly and accommodating; they called me when my Amazon package arrived and placed us in a non pet room since I’m allergic to pet dander They provided clean extra towels, without a wait

The hotel is directly across from the mall that has one of the best movie theatres on town! We selected lounge seating and the theatre also had excellent surround sound There are also a lot of resturants within walking distance; and a bowling alley that has a full rssturant and bar, axe throwing, pool table, video games and billardsThe room was super clean!***My only major complaint, the hotel needs to offer decaf coffee This is the only Marriott hotel that I’ve stayed at, who didn’t offer decaf coffee You should offer a decaf option

Nice looking from the outside but they cheaped out on the thin walls & floors Do yourself a favor if you stay here and only stay on the top floor The people above us apparently had a child’s “birthday party” from 12pm-10pm

We called around 8pm because we could not take the banging and jumping anymore We were told they should be finishing up soon 10pm comes around and the noise has not stopped I mean this was so loud I thought they had to be doing this on purpose there is no way people normally stomp like this for hours Called the front desk again and was told (with an attitude) that she would call them Finally it stopped around 11pm The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the sheets felt old and scratchy The room & bathroom were clean and the room itself was very big and spacious This place has a lot of potential but it seems like they cheap out on the important things I do like that they are dog friendly & the location was good for us to get to snowbird WARNING: The staff & most of the clientele were not wearing masks, If you feel safer with masks this is not the place for you!

Cesar Ladron De Guevara

I will give this La Quinta Hotel the maximum starts Here are some remarks, clean, well illuminated, modern design, good customer service, room service every day no BS Special remarks, quiet place!!! Recommendations: need more work on the breakfast, it is always the same and over greasy

Excellent for families, an exceptional place if you are working locally and you want a place where you can rest and have a pleasant time

Amber Regan

We stay here about once a year just to be closer to some activities This time, we stayed in room 218 on 5/6-5/8 very close to the elevator Not only were the walls and ceiling incredibly thin and the shutting of other residents door’s loud enough to shake our door and wake us up at 6am every day, but our door didn’t fully lock

Upon leaving the room, we would have to pull the door for it to shut all the way also which didn’t feel very safe considering my husband was the one to always remember to do thatWhen we first arrived, there was a used cleaning towel on the couch and a child’s snap-braceletThe dust in the room was almost unbearable, specifically on the desk I would leave my iPad there for the day while we were out and about and it was sickly coveredThe room in general has several damages The water pressure was weak in the showerWe enjoy staying here but this visit wasn’t the same as all our others We didn’t change rooms just because we were out all day anyway This room needs attention and we are disappointedThankfully, service at the front desk is always amazing and the employees are incredibly kind

Our house ended up being delayed by a month, so we had to keep extending our stay here by “two weeks” Our experience here was far superior to any other hotel I have ever stayed at Kerri-Ann and Brenna were so friendly and welcoming and both went above and beyond! They even mailed us a congratulations on our new home card! We tried every hotel in the Salt Lake area while we looked at houses and this was the best hotel out of all of them

It is very quiet which is my number one requirement It is clean, has everything you could need, and a delicious breakfast and fun happy hour

Rachel Matheson

Everything was great! The hot breakfast was phenomenal The room was spacious, the pool/spa was a good size, and the fitness center had a lot of options The young woman at the front desk was very helpful and kind

Only 2 things were not perfect, the bathroom sink did not drain well and the bed was less than adequate The bed was pretty uncomfortable That being said, I would stay here again

M M

We were extremely happy with our stay The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding, & the staff was very friendly I used the guest laundry – it was $1

50 to wash & $150 to dry I like to pack light, so being able to do the laundry when traveling with kids really helps cut down on the amount of things we have to pack So convenient!I wasn’t enthused there is a daily parking fee, but it was reasonable-$1000 a night Seemed unnecessary though It’s not like there was limited parking available like there is in big cities like Chicago & New York 🤔

The quality staff really make the difference in this hotel Yes, the rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean Yes, the food is the quality you’d expect out of Hilton

But, the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable Everyone from the shuttle drivers to the desk staff are friendly and definitely exceeds expectations My only detracting comment is that the pool is super small and very noisy if multiple people are in there Still an enjoyable experience though

Steff Gorden

I would stay here again! Although it was pricey for a couple of stays it was worth it The staff took great care of me Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were a warm and welcoming stay

Rebecca in housekeeping was so sweet and after I asked her to clean my room she didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond what I asked The front desk was friendly and welcomed me with warm smiles This hotel does an amazing job!

ross langhans

Absolutely super nice people! I left a bag by the front door, and only realized it when I was a couple hundred miles from there They made sure my bag was taken care of, and had it sent to me back in Minnesota Of course I had to pay the shipping, but how great it is that the management there would go out of their way to get my bag back

On top of that, it really is a beautiful property!Thank You!!

The location was convenient and seemed pretty secure Check in was efficient and we were treated well with all staff interactions Cleanliness was good throughout the property

Breakfast was standard fair with an okay variety but pretty meh quality I didn’t have high expectations and unfortunately wasn’t surprised by a stellar tasting breakfast either It’s good enoughI did feel misled regarding our room Realizing that some of this is on me for not doing better research when booking, it was disappointing to book a ‘suite’ to find it just a standard room with two beds and a pull out all in the same space My previous experience with booking suites involved having some separation in sleeping space This meant our space was cramped with 5 people but it workedI would stay here again, but make sure you know what you are getting if booking a ‘suite’

J Spence

Had a nice stay here overnight The woman checking me in was very hospitable They should give her a uniform to wear though so she can feel good about her job

The room was clean Pet (dog) fee was $20 which is why we stayed here Typical HIE breakfast in the morning, which is always nice to haveAs most places go in SLC/UT – absolutely 0 social distancing or mask wearing here – save one housekeeper And we wonder why we’re still in this 2 1/4 years later I guess to be expected when all the license plates are from UT/NV/IDAlso didn’t see many (or any) hand sanitizing stations Expect to have your personal space invaded by the geriatrics in the morning buffet line, breathing all over your food

Leeroy Mitchell

I would like to say first the Housekeeping staff is amazing and deserve 5 stars! I stayed at this property for 3 weeks while my place was being prepared Miss Martina is the best! Ashley at the front desk was accommodating and understanding deserve 5 stars! She went over and beyond to ensure my stay was a relaxing experience Now I will explain why this property is not getting 5 star because the lady that do the breakfast is by far the meanest individual I ever met

She is so damn lazy and spend most of the time on her cellphone Breakfast is the worst and she rarely put out multiple items! Everything is always undercooked and poorly managed! I wouldn’t want no one to lose there jobs but they may need to consider sitting her down and having a conversation with her!

Got here early, was denied check in at 11 but front desk didn’t even try to be accommodating It’s not like they’re at capacity — the hotel is a dead zone — there is nobody here There is a hotel just a block away, Embassy Suites, which is far superior at the same price point and was allowing early check-in

Despite making her aware of this, she told me I’d have to pay a half day rate just to get access an hour earlier Despite many friendly attempts at pleading (I told her I just quickly needed to change and wash my face to head out for a business meeting — but she didn’t care, and even went as far to ask me if I had a car… ???? I didn’t need to go kill time I needed a few minutes to prep for an important meeting)This place looks like it was renovated in the last 10 years or so, but you’ll have a very low ROI if customer service sucks In the business of hospitality, sometimes it’s in your best interests to make concessions for friendly (not overly demanding) customers, ESPECIALLY when it costs you nothing to do so I’ll have to come to South Jordan for business often but will most certainly choose the Embassy Suites over this Holiday Inn next time and will be advising my company to stay away from this place

Kristi Smith

My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom suite with a jetted tub Everything about our stay was PERFECT We arrived earlier than expected but the front desk clerk allowed us to check in an hour earlier

When we entered our suite, it was so clean and spacious The main bathroom was huge with a large (dual head) shower and relaxing bubbler tub There was also a second half bath in the living room area that was handy The bed was really comfortable, the fireplace cozy, and the tvs were HUGE The bedroom had double doors to separate the living room area which was nice to allow my early bird husband to watch tv while I slept Each room had it’s own climate control which we liked as well Everything exceeded our expectations and we really enjoyed our stay We’ve stayed in multiple hotels in the Salt Lake area and this is (by far) our favorite place to stay The overall vibe is safe and welcoming, the building orderly and clean, and you can tell that management takes their job seriously

Dionna Crofts

Rooms where clean, staff was friendlySucks there was no shuttle from the airport to hotel, but I understand people don’t want to workReason for my review: I accidentally book my hotel for the wrong day

That’s on me, whoopsI get to the hotel, the girl tells me it’s for the wrong day, but not to worry she could switch it to the night I neededI woke up this morning to a charge from the hotel (full price) for a room I was not even able to stay in I don’t even live in the same state

I had stayed here previously and thought it was great Unfortunately not so much this time First, they gave me the wrong room and I had to move to another

The reading lamp over the bed was broken and hanging by a wire (I have a picture) There was a shirt left by a previous guest (I assume) on top of the blankets in the closet (I have a picture of this too) The entire room felt dirt and definitely needed a good dusting everywhere I went out and bought some cleaning supplies The bedding was too small for the bed and pillows I also went out and bought a blanket so I knew it had not been used I was there from Thursday- to Monday No housekeeping When I did go down to get some towels, the staff was too busy talking in the dining area to even notice I’ve always liked Marriott but maybe it’s time to change

Good hotel Quiet Easy access

The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly Modern vibeHad a terrific shower setupThe pool/hot tub are located outside Everyone driving by, working out or at the mental facility next door can see you So your Uber safeBreakfast was on par with the usual mid level breakfast: fake eggs, fake bacon Sometimes fake sausage They did have a potato/sausage thing one morning that was goodFor the hotel: great stay I would suggest…removing the bucket of drinks that has a sign that says Grab a Bite and Beverageit seems like this is complimentary I assume it’s happened in the past because you have a sub-sign that says not complimentary It just serves no real purpose and adds un-needed complications

Morgan Evans

The room was not clean, all the surfaces were dirty, hand prints in the bathroom, white crusty substance all over the couch and ottoman, dirt and hair in all the corners I found a bug in the bed The staff refused to clean my room even after kindly asking for service and informing them of the bug in the bed

They won’t clean your room until your 5th night, no exceptions!!!! Doesn’t appear they clean the rooms period!! Also the walls and floors are thin You can hear every footfall all around you even with the tv on Don’t spend your money here!!!

very clean rooms with a full size refrigerator and freezer a full 12 cup coffee pot with coffee provided and paper cups i didn’t look in any of the cupboards because we didn’t cook in the room there may have been porcelain coffee cups as well along with plates and silverware but I am unsure we only stayed one night and was our 1st time staying at a myplace

Bed was comfortable everything was new and clean we definitely would stay again

The hotel and room it’s self aren’t bad, it’s just sketchy They have an extra $100 deposit fee at check-in which I didn’t see posted anywhere but right on the front desk Cool, we paid that and stayed there for 3 nights

The last night we came back to the hotel a little late and after making it all the way up to our floor and room, the keys wouldn’t work We went back to the front desk and they acted like they didn’t know we were in that room still and we had to argue with them for the keys to be reprogrammed since they had shut them off All of our stuff still in the room, and they were trying to deny us access to the only beds we have at 1 in the morning Over $400 for our stay (not including the $100 deposit) and I’m in shock because I’ve never even heard of a hotel doing this I planned to come back and use this hotel often, but not after this incident This made me feel really unsafe, and really unsure about being able to leave my items in the room when I leave to do things If they’re going to cut off my access to the room, who may have had access in between?

We booked through a reputable third party service and the staff told us there were no rooms available when we arrived Multiple other people in the lobby who booked through other services were also told their rooms were oversoldWe requested a refund and were told that we need to get one through the third party service

Then we asked if we could get documentation from them stating they didn’t have a room available to provide as evidence in order to get our refund The immediate response to this was “I don’t have anything to give you”When new guests showed up to check in, the front desk person proceeded to tell us to sit down instead of helping us resolve our issue We were repeatedly brushed off when we asked for updates I realize the staff member was dealing with a stressful situation but she was unnecessarily rude I can’t speak to the quality of the hotel itself but the customer service left something to be desired

The employees are great but the GM shouldn’t interact with customers – inflexible to the point of rudeness, though that is often more a corporate issue The rooms are cleaned and well maintained but the building is poorly designed – especially for an efficiency; you can hear casual conversations in neighboring rooms and enjoy the scents of whatever they’re cooking/eating if it is remotely spiced Shared smells are not ideal in a pet friendly hotel

If you can get an isolated room with no out of the ordinary needs or issues, it’s worth saving the money over Marriott/Hampton/Hilton efficiencies, otherwise the headaches here are worth the cost of an extra star hotelKey Tip: kitchenette does not come with utensils, pots, pans, dishware, etc If you’re going to be cooking, that alone might make TownePlace a better choice

The room reeked of old stale cigarettes Bed was very hard and uncomfortable But, everything was clean

Only provided 2 towels I had to ask for more Windows were very dirtyTypical breakfast We used the laundry facilities, and the washers and dryers worked well It’s not a bad place, but lots of room for improvement

Location was the best everything was within 10 minutes from us Some places within walking distance The old guy at the breakfast area was awesome and very helpful

Only thing that we didn’t like was that the hot tub was out of service and we were really looking forward to that in the other hand the water for the pool was warm I wish all hotels had it like that Will definitely be staying here next time we are in town

What I love about Hampton Inn and Suites im Jordan Landing is the rooms are huge I stayed in a king suite with my baby and it was just what we needed Kitchen to wash bottles with lots of counter space, fridge, and microwave if needed

The bed was great, and the bathroom had a bathtub which was amazing with a baby Then I ended up checking out a day earlier and figured I wouldn’t get a refund so I didn’t bother asking The receptionist asked her manager without me knowing and didn’t charge me for the extra night It was such a surprise and so nice of them I definitely will be back The breakfast was nice as well with such nice people making sure everything was stocked and great for the guests Such a nice stay, nice people, and so convenient, I definitely will come back Thanks!!

Idalia greeted us with a bright smile and stellar customer service This woman is a gem! She was simultaneously working the front desk, answering the phones, cleaning the breakfast area and helping customers without missing a beat! Our room was spotless and the beds were comfortable The breakfast was a nice variety of hot and cold items (eggs, bacon, hash browns, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, etc)

Excellent location with easy access to the bus line for skiing Highly recommend staying here !! We will be back !

The stay itself was great We used the hotel stay for a surgery recovery before heading home The room was very clean

The staff was very friendly and helpful, providing me with ice We stayed two night and by the day we were getting ready to check out staff knocked and let themselves into our room at around 9am without waiting for us to answer our door, which my husband was up getting ready to do We were not dressed or ready to have anyone just walk into the room which was very embarrassing

Alyssa Montgomery

Absolutely recommending to anyone that needs a nice place to stay The pool and hot tub were relaxing, the beds were so comfy, the room and bathroom was very clean and we had a microwave and a decent sized mini fridge I think the one complaint that I have was the lock outside by the fire pit was not accepting my key card and my boyfriend had to let me in 😂 other than that, the TV was great, WiFi was good and my boyfriend even enjoyed the breakfast

I hope you love your stay as much as we did!
