I stayed here since there were a lot of rooms reserved for a weekend wedding Check in was at 3PM and one of our rooms wasn’t ready until 3:40PM We had been trying to get early checking since 2PM, so I have no idea why it took 40 minutes beyond check in time

If that had been our only room, we would’ve only had 20 minutes to get readyIn one of the rooms the toilet had and extremely weak flush, and you had to hold the handle down for a long time just to get it to do anythingFor the price of the room, and the fact that it’s a Hilton, you’d think breakfast would be included, but no, it was not You could pay $8 or $15 a person depending on what you wanted, and I don’t think I’ve ever been to a hotel breakfast that was worth $8, let alone $15 I could go to a Holiday Inn for $20 less a night, and get a good, included breakfastThe only reason I didn’t give this a 1 star is because the hotel staff were all great Between dealing with all the people due to multiple weddings that day, and dealing with all the drunk people at 1AM, they did a great job

The hotel is decent enough at $146 plus tax a night but probably not more than that Originally booked one night but couldn’t get through the plymouth phone number to speak a live operator We wanted to add a night

It kept cutting the call off saying international calls were not allowed even though I phoned from Cleveland After trying three times, I ended having to speak to an agent from the Philippines with a thick accent that I had trouble understanding and then it took her about 20 minutes to add one night When she gave me a total it was $645 for the two nights Whaaaaat? You’ve gotta be kidding me Yep That’s not the price I booked at So I had to cancel the reservation and start all over again So I’m already not happy at this point I booked online but never on a travel siteSo the room is decent and it has all the amenities, is right off M14 and quiet and comfortable Free breakfast The floors were sticky in the bathroom and the bed looked like a 3rd grader made it Not bad but not great It’s nicely decorated and has plenty of features

The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious, with great amenities (fridge, microwave, snacks, tea, etc) Morning breakfast was plentiful And the scenery/decor both inside and out makes it such an interesting place to stay

Pat was such a gracious host and made sure that we had everything we needed She was very accommodating to us and made our stay as smooth as we could have wanted it to be She is so genuine and we learned a lot abut the history of the building – She has a book for sale that she wrote about her experiences running the B&B, which we ended up buying as wellOverall, if you want a central location with great comfort and, most importantly, great people running the show, I highly encourage Ann Arbor Bed & Breakfast We will definitely try to be back in the future

Holden Ranz

This B&B is excellent, eclectic, fun, and very accommodating!! 5 stars doesn’t cut it, the owner went above and beyond make sure we had a great stay I stayed here with my fiancee and friend and thoroughly enjoyed talking with Pat and her other guests and meeting her adorable pup Russ Definitely look forward to staying here again the next time we return to Ann Arbor!

Amanda Williams

This place doesn’t even deserve one start Booked a reservation online 2 days in advance I get sent confirmation on how to obtain keys and when to enter building

No key in mailbox as it stated The woman rented out my loft room that I reserved online days ago Said she didn’t pay attention to the name and gave the room to some other young lady Went to another room and said “well, here is your room It isn’t the loft size, it is smaller but it will do I’ll give it to you for a discount” A discount? It was not even a quarter of the size as the one I booked online, the room that they took their money out of my bank account Did nothing to solve the problem Said they refunded my money but I still don’t see it I didn’t even have the money to book another room because it was booked through 3rd party Woman smelt like alcohol Worst experiance ever

The room was fine, bed was comfortable The fridge barely got colder than the room temp The pool was closed which wasn’t communicated before we arrived, and it was the primary reason for our stay

We were offered a room at the neighboring property but they had no rooms available so we were offered $25 off the room but after checking the receipt we were charged full price Extremely disappointed

Alison Sanchez

Hotel was mostly clean (our room’s floor was pretty dirty – our feet and socks turned black from walking on it) Disappointed that the pool was closed (sounded like indefinitely), the handle on our door was pulling off, and the toilet paper holder was hanging off of the wall But we slept well in the comfortable bed and the gal at the front desk was kind enough to allow us to check out late

(I was in the area for surgery at the hospital and my surgery time was later in the afternoon)I had tried to call the hotel two days and one day before our stay to ask about a later checkout but the phone also seems to be not workingWith the prices of all nearby hotels being similar, I would have chosen another place to stay if we had known about the pool I went with this one because there were a lot more Google Reviews and they were only slightly better than all othersOverall, our stay was just “meh” At least it was comfortable and they accommodated our late checkout Staff was very nice

Sue Winn

This is my second review My first review was not made public I guess it was because it was a one star

I was charged $128 for a room that I canceled 24 hours in advance due to a positive Covid test I received an email asking me to fill out an extensive form to appeal my refund That is horrible customer service Why would anyone want to lose a customer over $128? Refunding my account is simple I will never stay at a Hampton Inn again

The pictures online showed a hot tub and relaxing pool This hotel is brand new but the common areas are very dirty You can feel the crumbs on the floor as you walk down the hallway

The pool area (which advertised a hot tub) had 4 chairs There were 10+ kids and countless parents in the pool area The lady at the front desk was very nice when I expressed my concerns She let me know to talk to Marcus to explain my concerns but Marcus values his weekends more than the satisfaction of his guests $200 for a dirty hotel is not worth it for Brighton Michigan

Lindsey Amey

Although the staff tried to be helpful, I got a call 2 days before our trip saying the hotel was over booked and I didn’t have a room I had reservations the next week as well and thankfully they made sure I had a room this time However, a friend of mine who is also staying at this hotel had the same thing happen to her this week

When they arrived at the hotel the staff said that their room is not available so they had to go to the store and get an air mattress in order to accommodate their family in a smaller room As I walked past the front desk I heard them saying the same thing to another family It seems to be a pattern that this hotel gets over booked and then they don’t have enough rooms or the type of room that you paid for Super frustrating and inconvenient I thought the point of making a reservation was to ensure that you had a room to top it off, I was taking my four-year-old daughter down to the pool a few minutes ago and it is closed 🙁 I will not be booking here again, I’ll stick to the Marriott

Lewis Poole

Decent hotel First, unlike what the google description states, note that there is no hot tub at this locationI asked for a quiet room and they put me on the 4th floor

It was indeed quiet, and the shades allow for the room to become nearly pitch black which is greatThe decor in the room was very modern, nice looking roomI have to go with 3 stars simply because the climate control system was not adequate I had it set to the lowest setting for sleeping (66 degrees), but there is no way it got even close to that The room was too warmFor breakfast, the pankcakes are decent, the turkey sausage is atrocious, scrambled eggs mediocre, and biscuits/gray passable This is always the case at any holiday innWhat’s less typical of holiday inn’s — this location did not have any plain bagels (appeared to be only raisin or blueberry, I didn’t try to confirm), the cereal selection had less options for kids than I’ve observed at other holiday inns,Good amount of milk and yogurt They were out of orange juice, that’s a bummerVery friendly staff

Would give 4 or 5 stars if it were not for a couple things1) I stood in the lobby for a good 5 minutes before being able to check in as no one was at the front desk and there was no bell to ring to get an employee’s attention2) We had a room right next to a maintenance room

4x during our stay, twice in the middle of the night, waking us up, this awful noise that sounded like a hump back whale calling it’s mate alarmed us and continued for at least a minute At checkout, the employee did apologize, but didn’t seem to care that we were disturbed If you get room 218, ask for another room3) Bring your own pillow, which I normally do, but forgot You need like 6 pillows to give you any sort of support Beds were very firm We all woke up with sore backs (me, my husband, and 11yo)Otherwise, the hotel was in a nice area Secluded near some woods Updated and appealing in appearance

Kath Fowler

I’m always looking for Hotels going “Green” But don’t short change customer comforts Room was clean

Staff was friendly Bathroom had no heat/AC, no wastebasket We, just a couple, were given 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels & 2 towels Shower& each of you use your washcloth next morning you’d like to wash your face but all you have is a dirty washcloth! Dry towels & reuse them but not with a wash cloth Great staff!

Karen Lennes

The staff was helpful and friendly The lobby area was cleanThe rooms were dirty and moldy

The door of our room didn’t close fully The staff literally took a screwdriver and shoved in the doorway to readjust the hinge Said that this was a common issue in the 40 year old building The mold in the bathroom was awful — even on the ceiling above the toilet There were stains on the floor and cobwebs behind the desk Even the light on the wall was askew, as there was no screw holding on the shade The only thing keeping me from marking this a 1 is the staff They were very good

Workout facility and pool area seem to be well-maintained and clean Rooms were able to accommodate our group and had satisfactory amenities however one recommendation…The room needs better ventilation Windows cannot be cracked and the bathroom fan was not working Overall, I would recommend this location and I plan on staying there in the future

When I visit my boyfriend in the summer, I always insist we stay at this hotel in Novi I’m someone with crazy high expectations for cleanliness and sanitization and so far this hotel always meets my expectations The restaurant has DELICIOUS, high end dining that we love as well as the gym

If I could change one thing it would be to add a pool!

Dr Linda

The hotel is beautiful, the conference rooms and property is clean and inviting and the rooms fabulous The staff was on point all except one!Two months ago myself and a business associate and event chairperson visited your property and was shown around by a very professional gentleman by the name of Jamal He answered our questions and was very nice

He told us the lady who we had to see was out sickWe waited and waited We left our contact information and we heard nothing Over two months we both called multiple times and left messagesMost recently I came two weeks ago and spoke with a nice young lady named Rachel I explained that we were planning several conventions and trying to secure YOUR location because it is centrally located and a beautiful venue She called Sora and said she is not answering She sent a message to her cellWe, Optimist Club, are an international organization with clubs(chapters) all over the globe We along with the hundreds of thousands of us are always looking for places for our events, most recently RenoIt is so disappointing that you have people that don’t bother return calls of reach out to entities attempting to do business with you Of course we have moved on and secured another venue One person has tanked our opinion of your location If this is the way others are being treated it is bad for business If not now later

Kaycee Brunell

My husband and I stayed for my birthday and we were able to check in early and late check out was 2pm which is AMAZING BUT you can hear EVERYTHING, on top of the fact we had 3 people knock at our door 10am, 11am, and then again at 11:30am VERY disappointed with that as we got late check out to sleep in Also a huge this was the TV was a lot nicer then we expected and what was shown in pictures

This is an extremely nice hotel, and the staff is top-notch! Myself and 2 colleagues ended up here as a last-minute schedule change We were tired and hungry Chris was amazing at check in, even going above and beyond to call the restaurant and have them hold a table for us as they were just about done seating guests for the night

We dropped our bags in our rooms, and headed over for a PHENOMENAL dinner Everything was fantastic, made in house, and our server, Dallas, was also exceptional! This could not have made for a better ending to a long and stressful dayThe rooms were very nice, beds comfortable, and showers SOOO relaxing! The musical mirrors are a nice feature, too! As someone who spends about 150 nights a year in (mostly 4-star) hotels, this is among my best experiences! Thank you Weber’s!

Tracy Schmidt

Very accommodating to special requests! Nice rooms Beds are squishy soft like giant marshmallows If you like that kind of thing it’s perfect

If you like a firm bed do not stay here Giving five stars even though I dislike soft beds, because everything else was great and they were quite nice, and the softness of the bed is probably what most people prefer anyway

Kaycee Brunell

This hotel will always be my favorite, I have been visiting since I was very young with my grandparents (when they had a slide into the pool) My husband took me back last year for my birthday and it was so much fun We loved exploring the hotel, looking at all the famous people that have stayed, the restaurant reminds me of the titanic, the retro game room, and so much more

The pool at night on the adult time is just amazing a relaxing We will be going back soon!

From the outside one would think that this is an old apartment complex of two buildings Don’t let that fool you Once inside, it was clean modern hotel with pleasant staff

The room was a small but very efficiently laid out suite complete with a full kitchen I would definitely stay here again It was a great value The only negative is that the sign from Fox Drive is very small and you have to be looking for it

Ron Achtenberg

The Service here was excellent The Property is dated and could use an update Breakfast had plenty of options

We unexpectedly had our 94 year old mother in law with us with a sprained ankle Although our room 108 was marked “handicapped” there was only a bathtub with one grab bar We were told only one room had a walk in shower but it was occupied during our 4 night stay On our second morning Chastity in housekeeping overheard our dilemma Apparently that room was vacated and being cleaned She went to the acting manager and assisted us with getting this room It made our stay safer for mom and us! Shoutout to Chastity for her consideration and friendliness! Front desk and management were also friendly and responded to all our requests!

Mark Elkins

The hotel was clean and in good condition The staff was friendly and helpful The location was okay, but make sure you have a vehicle to get around

However, the wifi was not working the entire time I was there (1 night) Had to call tech support myself, which was unable to help at all Also, found a used cotton swab behind the door in the bathroom, which was a turn off The hot breakfast was weak and consisted of store bought breakfast sandwiches, boiled potatoes (cubed), bagels, yogurt and some applesOverall, it was an okay stay but I wouldn’t make any effort to stay here again

The indoor heated pool is great We used the grill twice I love having a functioning kitchen so you don’t have the expense of eating out The laundry is free to use, also I can’t give this place enough stars I’ll be staying here any time I need to visit my family

Tim Kight

This hotel is considered an extended stay so there is no complementary breakfast here, but everything else about this place is amazing From the time we first booked our 4th of July stay, we were helped by a young man named Jacob who was extremely motivated to make our stay here very personal and memorable! He went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves 5 stars himself for being a hospitality guru! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Nice place and friendly staff, and quite clean except for a few stains i saw on couch and floor A few things could use improvement The room we had was quite small, no garbage in the bathroom and only a teeny tiny one for the room, the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and soap bottles were just about empty, the pool was a bit cloudy, and no breakfast but for the price you pay it’s well worth the stay and beats any other price around the area

Honestly I would still come back

The staff here is incredibly rude We tried to be empathetic as I think they are short staffed, but they didn’t have any of them things they offered which I can get past, but your staff not even giving correct information? Come on One staff tells us a time for late check out and then the next thing I know I’m being told we have 6 minutes to check out which was three hours earlier than the other staff told us

Not to mention the supervisor implied we were lying about it?? She could have handled it way more politely than she did We would have checked out in time had we gotten the actual correct time!! Also the keys stopped working throughout the weekend I would never recommend staying here Please get more informed and more professional staff Learn how to speak to people! I’m not even sure how this place is still open

This is a great hotel and reasonably priced It is located in a very convenient location for shopping and dining Many restaurants offering plenty of choices within easy walking distance

Shopping is right at your doorstep It doesn’t get five stars through any particular fault of theirs but because of issues mostly beyond their control Lack of staff and supply chain issues led to it probably not being as clean as it could have been Being able to meet every expectation was a bit out of reach

Changed hotel reservation to stay here after a terrible start at the Residence Inn down the street Dawn was fantastic and our stay was lovely No microwave in the room but told us she’d be happy to send one up if needed (we didn’t)

Breakfast isn’t included but I’ve never seen a non-buffet breakfast included Room was clean, hotel was quiet Pool isn’t heated which is a bummer but not a dealbreaker Would stay again!

I am more than disappointed that the courtyard chose to remove the hot tub from this location We live close by and would use this hotel specifically for having a pool and hot tub where the whole family was accommodated As a family we could enjoy time together, the kids could be in the pool and the parents in the hot tub

It is clean and Maintained well, another reason we chose this hotel I just do not understand why you removed it for seating There was plenty of seating all around and tables before You may not have food or drinks in the pool area so added seating among many other reasons makes no sense It’s no longer full family friendly The price of rooms has gone up while amenities are taken away Very disappointing I also would look up courtyards when I chose to travel as well This makes me think to look else where while booking and it’s such a bummer I was a fan of this hotel I would also recommend updating your website as it is still advertised as having a hot tub

Pool was COLD I was sad that they don’t offer free breakfast or even lobby coffee Oh and they cut off the room keys a half hour before checkout making a trip to the desk for reactivating necessary

Other than that the rooms and service were top notch Great assistance with lost items, I really wish the pool was warmer and they didn’t remove the hot tub

Our four night stay at Baxter House in mid-April was outstanding Kathleen is so thoughtful, thorough, and generous; we were treated like royalty Still on our honeymoon, we repeatedly showed up for breakfast 2 hours after the other guests, but Kathleen cheerfully accommodated us every time, and she is a great conversationalist! Her breakfasts were heavenly, and she would’ve made us lunch if we’d needed it

It was immaculate, cozy, and brightFor hikers or naturalists, the location of this B & B is exceptional There are 26 wooded Community Natural Areas with established trails within 25 miles, and 3 of them are within a mile Great for birders! Having historic Kerrytown in the heart of Ann Arbor just a few blocks away is another bonus We cannot recommend the Baxter House highly enough; we’ll be back!Benji and LizaJackson, WYApril, 2022

Kathleen is a fantastic host and the house is a wonderful spot to stay within walking distance of downtown Ann Arbor! The apartment space at Baxter House was the perfect place to have my graduation party On top of being an incredibly cozy and inviting space, it’s truly beautiful and so well kept My friends and I wanted to move in! Kathleen and Matthew are such delights, too

If you have the chance to talk to them over breakfast, you’re in for a wonderful time They’re kind, full of great stories, and so pleasant to share a meal with Ask Kathleen about the ukulele band she’s a part of – it’s awesome! Oh, and if you have dietary restrictions, have no fear, for Kathleen is a phenomenal cook who can accommodate your needs Whether you need a special event space or a place to sleep for the night, Baxter House is above and beyond my family’s new favorite place to recommend in Ann Arbor!

We were in town for a funeral, so we weren’t going to be using some if the listed amenities That was a good thing, golf course closed for renovation, no mention of that on the website when I was booking the room Lots of construction in process to do an upgrade to the facility

The waterfall garden was very nice and the church/chapel is beautiful Our room was very nice, but to get room temperature below 74 had to set to 69 degrees, then set at 71 when it was almost too cool Temperature in the room then went back up to 74, too warm Obviously there is a problem with the thermostat, didn’t bother to complain because we were really in the room a short timeEveryone at the desk and the steakhouse was friendly and helpful

Always look forward to photographing weddings here because the venue not only treats their couples/guests great, but also the vendors! The ladies are awesome before the ceremony, they fluff the dress and handle everything so the photographer can focus on capturing the moments The manager in charge during the reception space was so helpful, asking if we, the wedding vendors, needed anything and assisted promptly whenever asked a question They are great at transitioning guests from ceremony, to cocktail hour to reception making it for a great experience! Not to mention, the hotel rooms are great for getting ready photos and the outdoor spaces provide ample location opportunities for photos giving the couple a variety without having to travel!

I was here to take advantage of the Taste of Plymouth event that The Inn at St John’s hostedI was not a guest of the hotel and I did not dine in the hotel restaurantI gave a positive review because the facility is beautiful and historic and it is very well maintained and there are lovely plantings and water features and things to see and enjoy

If you ever have the opportunity to come for Taste of Plymouth, it’s a great chance to try as much as little as you like of a lot of different restaurants and I was told to come hungry and I went away very full

I keep reading the reviews and see how great the staff was Well, Cody was very helpful I had to speak with management the next day as I was billed $23

00 more than my reservation stated How this person is in Hotel Management? I have no idea Perhaps she was having a bad day, a bad week? She lifted her computer screen up to my level to see what they charged me Now, that being said? Microtel billed my bank 9320 My reservation was for $7700 She would not even attempt to discuss this with me or find the issue Their systems have upgraded recently was the information Cody had given me earlier in the day when I brought that to his attention There had been a $2900 charge for the free night I received from Wyndham using points as a Diamond Member The Manager Joy,’s last words to me? WE could have charged you $10000 more with their new policy WHAT? That is not mentioned on their website or when booking BEWARE, folks,
