Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This site will compare countless hotel sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in the area

I have been staying here for years If you decide to stay here you definitely won’t be let downWe love this hotel- the staff is so nice (everyone but notably front desk Ben!) The Manager’s Reception in the evenings with complimentary soup/breadsticks and drinks (perfect after my kids wore themselves out at the nice, clean pool) is pretty tasty Super clean rooms and delicious breakfast that differs a little each day The location is perfect for walking downtown- close to everything Room views are gorgeous We love staying here!

Kristina Concord

The best part was the bed It was actually comfortable But be warned

Breakfast is not free…it’s 495 a person If the room comes with a Kitchenette be prepared to bring in all of your own utensils, they do not even provide plates All available for purchase at their store Room service available by request per usual ever since covid happened It does have a musty smell to the hallways The staff is nice Also bring some travel toiletries They provide the otiniest ones And once they are used you have to PURCHASE MORE! I travel a lot so it wasn’t a problem I was able to get the room under 100 bucks so I’m not complaining But also there is only ONE ice machine in the entire hotel I will definitely not make this scam artist hotel my place to go to

If I could rate this hotel nothing I would Hotel was suppose to be ready at 3 pm We walked in and she had to check to see if it was cleaned

Came down and lied and said it was but when we got into the room, the bed sheets were NOT changed and their was Hair on the bed The bathroom was dirty and the whole place literally smelt like urine It was the nastiest, dirtiest hotel for that price Which I’m very surprise they have good ratings We immediately cancelled No apologies whatever so ever from the front desk girl or the manager We had to call Expedia to cancel The hotel charged us $80 cancellation fee for not even staying in the room for 1 min During the time I death with the cancellations other guests were upset because their room were still not ready They had the front desk girl clean and answer phone at the same time No one can get a hold of them Guy came down twice to speak with them and ended up upset leaving I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this place Save your money and go elsewhere

Craig Mitton

Lady who checked us in was rude nearly to the point of hostile Like she was doing us a favor by helping us and then was very friendly to another staff member right in front of us which rubbed our face in itKitchenette had nothing no pots, no pans absolutely nothing but a stove top

They did not clean our room while we were staying not even so much as a new towel and dd not tell us there was no maid service Way overpriced for level of service we will not be returning

As soon as we arrived, we were met by a very sweet employee who asked if we would like some dinner She served all of us and brought our food and drinks to a table She mentioned to my kids that they would be serving cookies soon, and made them feel so special

The room was nice Clean, comfy beds Dove products in the shampoo/soap dispensers, which is a nice upgrade from standard hotel soap The A/C unit was a little noisy, but nothing too majorThe pool is cold, but the pool room is a very nice temperature, and the hot tub works! (Which is rare for a Holiday Inn) The pool and hot tub were both clean The laundry room was clean and all machines were in working order The fitness room was also clean and all equipment in working orderGreat stay and awesome employees!

Eric Hullstrom

This is a nice hotel We have always enjoyed Holiday Inn Express The staff person at check in was friendly and helpful but when I needed help later that night he was out smoking with friends

Seemed weird especially when his sign said he was called away to help someone The beds were extremely comfortable and that’s saying a lot because of my back arthritis The breakfast was great as usual, and I really enjoyed eating on the patio All in all, we would stay here again

Vira Evans

We booked this hotel while visiting our friends The hotel is amazing Close to the freeway, restaurants and shops

Customer service is great All staff are nice, friendly and helpfulThe hotel is very clean We loved our room with the balcony Everything you need is in a room: microwave, small fridge, coffee makerBreakfast is simple but tastyI loved the outdoor area next to the breakfast room and another one next to the pool where I could enjoy the sun while my daughter played in a poolIt will be our first choice when we come back again

Ally

We chose this hotel because they were one of the only ones that has an outdoor swimming pool We were disappointed to find it is shaded by the hotel building and never got sun and it’s the size of a large hot tub so that was a bummer This hotel is disgusting, dirty and tired

It needs a major overhaul Location is great and staff were pretty nice Parking is overpriced and you have to walk really far with bags as the garage is part of the convention center Our room was extremely dated and gross The floor had a giant red stain in the middle of it The carpet was so dirty (see photos) There was garbage left behind Bobby pins on floor so who knows what else was lurking as far as germs The lounge chair was so dirty and stained and had crumbs all over it and under the cushion I just felt grossed out touching any surfaces The price was jacked up because of something going on in town so this was not at all worth the $289 nightly rate If you have extremely low cleanliness standards this might be ok for you They really need to disinfect and update this place

Heather Steinmiller

We had a lovely visit in Spokane this past week, and the DoubleTree Hotel was really nice Special shout out to the ladies at breakfast – Krystal, Sandy, and Patty They were always cheerful, friendly, and helpful

(The cook was awesome, too – always cooked my eggs over medium perfectly!) Front desk personnel were likewise wonderful, especially the young lady (whose name I didn’t get) with the glasses and short dark hair The location can’t be beat, and the proximity to the Centennial Trail is an added bonus Thank you all for everything!

Great location close to downtown, the university and right off the riverfrontThe hotel staff was pleasant and helpfulParking was ok, it’s a large lot and it was full so I had to park a ways away but that can’t be helped

The hotel itself is somewhat dated It probably an older courtyard property Would be nice to see it renovated soonThat being said the room was clean and quietBed was typical Marriott quality and comfortableI would return to this property

Prism B!tch

We arrived for a late check in after playing a show at a local venue Brian was incredibly kind, informative and helpful We were completely exhausted and he made our check in a breeze, and went above and beyond to make sure we could park our van in a secure location for the night

Not to mention that the room is beautiful and comfortable, with a sliding door opening out to the lovely courtyard pool area We would love to stay here again next time we visit Spokane

Emily Meredith

I had SUCH a great experience quarantining here (which is pretty hard to say) The room was so comfortable and the patio was key! The staff was BY FAR the best part of my stay The front desk was very accommodating to my extra needs and made me feel welcome and not like a burden

I was able to get DELICIOUS food delivered to my room from the Bistro downstairs I recommend staying here 100% The people made it a pleasure for me and I’m sure they do for all guests!

Great little hotel right on the river! Perfect for any event in the areaWe made last minute reservations just a day before we were going to check in without a single problem Great rates and easy digital check in/out

Large on-site outdoor parking lot (not gated) Staff was friendly and welcoming! The hotel had a nice swimming pool as well as a playground and outdoor gamesOnly a 10 minute walk right along the river to Spokane ArenaRooms were spacious, very clean, and seemed to be recently renovated They even had a nice/new bathroom with a walk-in glass shower and complimentary bath productsThe only “downside” was that the hotel was very busy and the hallways were loud during the day (to be expected) However, it did seem to quiet down after dark and we had no issues sleeping or anythingOverall, I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Spokane for a quick trip! Great spot, especially in the summer!

Katie Hernandez

Such a fun, affordable , enjoyable hotel! Staff was friendly and helpful The hotel had 2 outdoor pools to accommodate both ages of my children! It was a beautiful spot right next to the river Plenty of space to walk and enjoy the river

We also enjoyed the outdoor play area that had giant connect 4, corn hole and a play area for the littles Bar had a nicely priced and delicious happy hour It was a great experience We will be back!

Traveling Gypsysoul

The pool is the best part! While the hotel itself looks to have had some renovations (new paint, interior furniture, wall decor) the building itself is old and not in the best shape While checking in at 9pm out front desk agent was less than friendly and when asking questions I simply go a “I’m going to give you a paper that says everything just wait!” No early check in and no late checkout allowed durning my stay Walking into my room there was trash left on the floor just under the bed(unfortunate but not a big deal) the pool was wonderful and worth every penny to have a pool side room

We were saddened by the fact that on a Friday night the pool was not open later (only until 11) opened the following day at 9am Overall we had a comfortable stay, but had it not been for the pool…it wouldn’t have been worth the price

We stayed here specifically because they are maybe the most dog friendly hotels in Spokane The report of this is trueWhile the hotel is a bit older- it is kept clean by the staff

They have a large indoor pool and jacuzzi and decent exercise roomThe staff was hard working and friendly- gave my Doberman treats and would stop and talk to himThe breakfast was good- about exactly what you would expect Not mind-blowing- but good (This is not a criticism- just a description )Overall good value – excellent place if your dog is traveling with you Would definitely stay here again

We stayed at the comfort Inn and Suites in Medicine Hat Albert The rooms were very nice and Sandra the general manager was great We had some issues with some rooms, we had 39 rooms booked

Sandra was very cool under the pressure of many people coming at her at once She solved all our problems in a timely manner Sandra and her staff went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had what they needed over the next 2 days The breakfast was good and they made sure that the athletes were able to take bottled water, fruits and fresh baked muffins with them every dayThank you so much,

Shantell Omalley

Very nice hotel! Upgraded us to a suite for free!! The front desk staff were friendly, easy check in! The room was clean and it was relatively quite, considering how close to the freeway you are! Great view of the valley! Easy access to the freeway and a few places to eat right across the street The spa and pool are very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed! For the price it was excellent and I would definitely recommend!

I booked over a month ago requesting the top floor Upon arrival they said they were booked and gave me the second floor out of 4 The non smoking room smelled like stale smoke

The beds sounded and felt like they were on rusted metal bed frames The room was very hot and no air conditioning, but again they were ‘full’ so we just had to deal with it Couldn’t even open a window Pictures made it look like a brand new hotel but it is clearly old and just remodeled Will never stay here again Now I will listen to all the pounding on the floor above me for $15000 Beyond annoyed Very poor accommodationsOnly good thing is the location Not worth the money

Paula Davis

I was extremely disappointed with this stay Check-in took forever (I know, I know they’re understaffed like everyone else, yet they’re still charging the same fees even though the service is incredibly poor) I typically pick my own room in the app, but the hotel picked my room and I was told that it was the only room left on the top floor

The shower handle wouldn’t stay in a set position so you could choose your temperature, so it was either cold or scalding hot The toilet handle was super loose and it was very hard to get the toilet to flush I’m a Hilton Honors customer who will be Diamond Level by June I travel 18 nights a month I was given a room facing construction (loud) that was happening next door The fridge wasn’t clean I was told upon checkout that I would be given extra rewards points for my “trouble” but it’s been almost two weeks and that hasn’t happened, nor has a manager reached out to me A manager was there when I checked out and let them know about all the problems I definitely will not stay at this location again

Trisha Horton

So

the room was clean and comfy The staff was nice Breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel But, while checking in, a couple people came down to say that the room they were given was already occupied even though their keys worked, another individual voiced to us also while we were in the elevator that his key opened up a room that was occupied We had to re-clarify that our reservation was for 2 nights after we noticed the slip of paper that you receive the key had the incorrect check out date Our own keys stopped working half way through our stay, (I’m assuming our checkout date was wrong still because it stopped working right at checkout time) we had four $75 dollar incidental fees that we were told were going to drop off but couldn’t explain them We ended up staying in 2 different rooms, while in the second, we received another incidental charge for the first room We were not able to log into the wifi due to the previous guest’s name being attached to the room number Overall it seems like maybe staff members aren’t entirely trained on certain things and are struggling The pool seemed nice although we never went inside People complained about the chlorine smell but that’s what you get with an enclosed indoor pool area 🤷 Overall it wasn’t a terrible experience but it could of definitely been better

Rooms were very clean, especially the shower which was super nice too! The bathroom was a tad small but to be expected in a renovated building of this type For the price this was an amazing stay! Normally it’s difficult to sleep well in hotel rooms but we could actually consistently control the temperature from the heating unit and the bed was very comfortable! Good location for downtown Spokane and the hotel bar seemed cool even though we didn’t go in

Johnmarc Candelaria

Hotel Ruby does the job well while being located in such an awesome location at a decent price! If you want or need to be in Downtown Spokane, I don’t see why you shouldn’t consider Hotel Ruby as your place to stay The property looks very chic and the rooms are clean The front lobby staff were friendly and welcoming

However, the location is the best part about Hotel Ruby since Downtown Spokane has a lot to offerThe only knock I would give on the Hotel is the noise that enters the room If a neighbor is awake and having a conversation at night, be prepared to use the provided ear plugs (yes, we found ear plugs when we walked into our room) or any other noise cancelling tools as you might struggle to fall asleep due to the noise Furthermore, it seems like the hotel parking area was always full at night, so that is another consideration to make if you are driving to the propertyAll in all, Hotel Ruby was a great place to stay for my visit to Spokane

Elizabeth Backstrom

Great hotel in the heart of downtown, walkable and close to everything Only downside is not much parking in front of the hotel but they do have parking lots nearby I think if I had a lot to unload from my car this could be a pain but if you’re a single traveler or have a smaller amount of stuff, it’s not a problem

Friendly staff, quiet and a nice area, I will stay again

Fantastic stay! We spent 4 nights here in a suite with 3 kids It was clean and smelled great The room was the perfect size for us

We had breakfast almost every morning and the woman running it was so sweet and did a great job keeping everything stocked The front desk people were friendly, one night we came in late and he was baking cookies and offered them to the kids So sweet! Would 100% stay again

Zack Stockdale

I’ve stayed a lot of places in Spokane around the convention center This was a solid choice Good price decent room great breakfast! Just make sure you don’t get a room next to the elevator can’t imagine those people got a lot of sleep

And there seem to be a lot of people drag racing on the street outside at all hours But we were sound sleepers Would stay again

Lauren Benda

We really liked this Best Western All of the staff were very friendly and attentive Our room was clean and the breakfast bar was very well stocked

We also loved the location being close to the river and restaurants, etc The co-op market next door was a great bonus for to-go dinners, fresh fruit, drinks, etc We would definitely stay here again!

Love this hotel!!! Friendly service, beautiful, clean hotel Love the location, just across from the river Plenty of lighting in the rooms, which is usually my complaint in other hotel rooms

Large rooms with plenty of storage for clothing Bathrooms had plenty of counter space with space under the counter as well They offer all the free water you want during your stay I had an issue during my stay and Taylor went above and beyond to rectify the situation Will definitely stay here again!

Elizabeth Boss

The hotel was nice, however, there was a huge party going on in the suite next to me that extended into the hallway I called “At Your Service” twice asking if there was anything they could do to get the party quieted I selected the top floor “Penthouse Suite” (which, I’m guessing there are several floors with all rooms similar) and a room at the far end from the elevator hoping it would be a quiet room

I paid extra for a room I thought would be quiet and was quite disappointed I would not recommend this hotel unless you’re part of the party

Brekyn Worbes

We really enjoyed our experience! The view of downtown was beautiful The hotel bar’s drink are absolutely amazing and the food there is delicious Our room was spacious, clean, modern design

No mini fridge or microwave but still great The showers was super cool and big Staff was friendly and eager to help Vale was well worth the little up charge The location is PERFECT Close to bars, restaurants, and the river Highly recommend!!!

It was our first time staying at a Tru We loved everything about our stay My kids enjoyed the pool while I was working from the cosy and comfy workstations in the lobby

The rooms were clean and comfortable My wife and I enjoyed a bike ride along the river using bikes from Tru There is also a nice park for kids across the street There’s a cool pancake machine that you have to check out at the breakfast booth I was also able to charge my Tesla outside for a reasonable fee I highly recommend Tru in Spokane Will stay again

A Phipps.

When I walked in & realized the front desk was a bar & the lobby was filled with folks having a great time, I really thought there was no way I was going to get any sleep after an 11 hour trip & facing 27 more hours! I was pleasantly surprised to be completely wrong! They have an entire floor for people like me who desire a quiet space! Heaven! And breakfast before heading out- thank you Truly, a wonderful experience

Nice room, great mattress and bedding Really appreciate the effectiveness of the curtains Only things I would change are having a showerhead with a hose attachment (which I believe should be in every hotel room) and an in-room microwave

There is a microwave in the lobby, but I would definitely prefer to have in room–not a big deal though I like Tru and will continue to stay at them Great experiences overall

Read this before you book your wedding!! Sales was great, but everything after that seemed pretty disorganizedThey charge a 22% service fee and originally said that included gratuity, then said it didn’t We found out that they pay a higher wage instead of gratuity for weddings, but you can tip extra if you want

You have to prepay for what you expect people to drink, you set a limit for the open barour arrangement was they were supposed to come check in with me if we went over a certain amount The bartender was telling people our prepayment amount the limit and even charged a guest, but luckily it ended up in our room charged not our guests It was super embarrassing! Not sure how to fix that problem but maybe talk to the staff on that day of your wedding and remind them of your plan? Our family helped with clean up and some stuff was left behind It’s been a nightmare getting our items back They don’t just call you and say we have a box of things that was left at your wedding You have to reach out to the hotel and describe each item They probably still have a bunch of our stuff that we don’t even know of missing yet we’ve made multiple requests for our stuff Some of our missing things were in a box together, we got some of the things in that box back and some of it is still missing So double and triple check the area before you go! Also, take an inventory of your things so if something goes missing you can tell them what it is Hopefully it’s not a wedding gift! One of our cards is still missing! The service was hit and missThe bellmen and one lady at the front desk were amazing, most of the other staff seemed to be inconvenienced by us!All that being said, we would still book the Davenport againOur wedding was beautiful! The hotel was very clean! It was really convenient having so many of our guests staying at there!

Beautiful hotel The lounge is great Parking is nearby and convenient

Rooms are clean and comfortableThe service leaves something to be desired My room had 2 conditioners instead of a shampoo and conditioner That is an understandable mistakeI called and asked for a shampoo to be dropped off to the room I found another conditioner when I got back It was too late in the night to do anything about it so I just left it aloneI also asked for a shower cap that never arrived and a toothpaste that only reached me after my second attemptNone of all this was bad enough to ruin my experience But I did feel disappointed with the service

Stayed here on a quick solo trip to visit family Very nice place Appreciated the EV charging for my Tesla

Room was comfy and well-equipped “Manager’s Reception” offered complimentary beer and wine, which was a nice perk Breakfast was very good and the lady overseeing the breakfast area was extremely attentive and friendly Would recommend

Tracie Sweeney

Super nice staff and room was clean I liked that we were close to the front deskOnly thing I didn’t like was the bathroom didn’t have a fan and one of our mugs was chipped

No biggie though The breakfast was good and had plenty of options to choose from Workout room was clean and not crowded when I went They clean the rooms every 3 days and when I requested more towels they were at our door in less than 5 minutes I would stay here again!

Room setup isn’t great, but mostly functional Location is close to centennial bike trail, which is a plus for me And most of the staff are friendly enough

Sadly, due to COVID19, they no longer have a restaurant or bar on site, even though their online info doesn’t reflect that Instead, they are doing something called manager’s reception from 5:30-9:30pm where they offer a couple of drinks, salad and breadsticks and the guests are forced to mingle So basically they are now a B&B If I wanted to stay at a B&B, I would have What I wanted was a true 3 star hotel with an on-site restaurant 5 floors and they don’t even offer vending machines The rooms are mostly clean, but not great The top of the sink backsplash hasn’t been wiped down in weeks No indication the TV remote has been wiped down The curtains don’t close all the way And the room just doesn’t smell or feel terribly clean Definitely not worth what they charge Don’t waste your money Go somewhere else

Stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Spokane Valley a couple weeks ago We were in town for work and it seemed pretty centrally located Super easy to get on to the interstate and really close to a couple streets that will take you straight into downtown if you want to stay off the highway

Room was standard, no problems; really it was a bit expensive for what it is The front desk people were great, no complaintsSpokane isn’t “dirty” but there are sketchy folks all over There was a guy “fighting a tree”, screaming, bleeding a bit and yelling at anybody who came close to him Nobody wanted to help and nobody wanted to call police either I don’t have the answers, but it was odd to me that the behavior was considered okay on hotel property I was a little worried about the rental car, but we made sure it was properly empty every nightThe breakfast in the morning was okay at best If you are just going to put out cereal, yogurt and fruit, so be it But if you venture into hot food like breakfast burritos, at least make sure they aren’t god awfulAll and all, the hotel itself is fine We certainly paid too much At that kind of price, we wouldn’t stay there again

I want to start by saying this hotel is amazing! We were on our way to Silverwood and called pretty early if there was any room available which we were told they did Check in was super fast, we were able to change and take a quick break before our adventure The next day we interacted with our housekeeper Melissa, she was the best experience we had! Told my kids how they can swim at the pool, we bumped into her later and gave us a recommendation on how to drink hot chocolate

Needless to say we will be back because of the great staff and amazing customer service!

Adam Davis

A very friendly hotel that goes out of its way to cater to guests More than you would expect from a hotel in this price range It’s not a cookie cutter floor plan

There are rooms that open to a patio with a water fountain, putting green, and outdoor lounging Other suites have an outdoor entrance directly to the parking lot and dog walk The staff keeps refreshments available throughout the day The breakfast dining area has both indoor and shaded outdoor seating The rooms have been updated recently with modern accents

Loved this hotel!!! Highly recommend it for sure! Staff were Amazing, Rooms were clean, Breakfast Bar was sooo good, lots of variety, the breakfast bar host was so nice and hard working, had a nice guest laundry room, beautiful lobby and outside patios to sit and enjoy overlooking the downtown, plus close location and walking distance to downtown Spokane Only downfall to this hotel was no pool or hot tub All in all we had a very pleasant stay and we will be back again!!

Stacy Artz

This hotel looks nice enough on the outside, when we checked into our room the sheets on the bed had clearly not been changed There was make up or a stain of some kind on the pillow case and hair in the bed I called the front desk and they offered to switch rooms, entered the second room and pulled back the covers to again find hair in the bed and sheets that had not been changed, was given a third room again hair on the sheets and what looked like blood

At this point I just asked for my money back and was going to find another place Staff was extremely rude told me since I booked through a third party they can do nothing for a refund I called bookingcom who I had scheduled with and they said they had to get approval from the hotel to refund my money The same staff who I spoke to denied my refund and said I was lying the rooms were fine I took pictures and had even shown them to one of the staff At no point did anyone offer to change the sheets or send a new pair of sheets which could have easily solved the problem I have never been treated so rudely by hotel staff in my life I will be sending the pictures to the general manager and contacting corporate office There is no reason to expect a guest to sleep on dirty sheets and no reason to not at least offer to send up a new set of sheets If I could give them a zero I would

Shereen Gould

Incredibly unprofessional and rude I was told that I didn’t have a reservation and the front desk person wanted to argue with me when I was completely okay with a room change from a king to a queen It was bizarre

When I asked where to park because the lot was full (which I was okay with) the front desk person told me to park in the handy capped parking One I’m not handy capped and two it’s illegal, and I felt like she was trying to set me up to to get towedAlso my room didn’t lock from the inside so I put the hasp on, and a door hanger House keeping kept knocking and trying to open the door even after they realized it was the hasp was on When they were vacuuming they kept slammed the vacuum into the doorI ended up getting up and leaving even though I paid for another day I was told I couldn’t get a refund or cancel because it wasn’t 24 hours in advance and I used a 3rd party companyI visit Spokane every other week and I’m always looking for a place to stay for a few days to a week Lost my business

The check in at the front desk was easy to do The staff is great! Very friendly and very helpful The housekeeping did a great job cleaning up our room (we aren’t messy guests though) thank for attending to our requests before checking in and after

The pool area could be a little warmer and hopefully they get the jets fixed on the hot tub I do have a suggestion for in the rooms (maybe consider adding cup coasters so the furniture doesn’t get ruined)

Kelsey Diaz-Pacheco

Pros: Our room was clean-didn’t hear the traffic in our room,-night staff was very friendly- Got us new sheets very quickly-Breakfast was good- Hotel looked newly remodeled-Overall the building was cleanCons: Day staff at the counter could have cared less about us checking out- Hot tub was broken- Pool was freezing-House keeping was trying to get us out at 10:30 when check out is 12pm- Broken cover for ac/heat unit- Shelf missing in the shower with a metal piece sticking out- Towel rack wasn’t installed all the way and came off when we took the towel off, luckily my 2 year old didn’t get hurt- Sheets on the couch pull out bed had blood stains on it but they brought us a new set right away

Grant Hwang

Overall great value Area seems quiet, could hear the trains at a distance but it was almost like white noise Clean outside, clean lobby, very clean room

Pool very clean, hot tub broken as of April 2 2022Did not have the free breakfast but I can say the coffee is really good and I am fairly picky about coffee The breakfast is a step down from what you would see at a Holiday Inn Express in terms of optionsI would stay again for sure And will consider other La Quinta locations based on my experience here
