Staff are the best thing about this place, reception and valet really make this place So polite and never fail to acknowledge you, I really liked that Bed was too soft and flooring was cold even with heat on

Loved the shower Did like the safe in the room, fridge was a little small but we managed Nice fitness room Didn’t have breakfast it was charged at $16 per person I only wanted yogurt and fruit so bought local instead If any part of breakfast is complimentary then we were not made aware of it Other than that was a lovely stay, and sure we’ll be back again soon for work purposes so look forward to seeing co and rest of team in the future

This is a new modern style hotel with a good amount of amenities The lobby is nice Perfect for relaxing and the rooms are very comfortable! The location is fantastic

Very close to a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance and a great park about 100 yards away There are many hospitals and health care facilities in the area Stay here You won’t be disappointed!

Love the AC Hotels I like the look and the layouts I always feel like it is a pleasure, especially for the Marriott brand

This one is just not ready yet It is in a great area but the customer service is nonexistent Despite a do not disturb on the door, they came in to install shampoo dispensers that left a chemical smell in the room Left all my towels in the middle of the bathroom floor No apologies and just offered to move me to another room at 10p When the do not disturb was not on the door, they never made the room When I wanted to change cards at check out, they told me I “didn’t want to do that because it would mess with my funds and take 3-5 business days to sort out the refund” The best part is I watched the front desk rep walk off the job because she was so frustrated with the people that worked there

My family has undergone quite a shaky last couple of months with my dad going into Barnes-Jewish, but this place has been the perfect temporary home for my mom! She’s been there for over a month, and the staff has been such a blessing! She loves the accommodations, the 24 hour coffee, the garage is so convenient and secure They’re doing small renovations on certain floors, but they’ve been so helpful setting my mom up with a new room when it’s needed I’m able to visit occasionally, and it feels so good knowing my mom is staying at such a nice place, and with excellent access to the hospital! Quincy is a standout star for sure, a true sweetheart! He’s usually at the front desk and my mom chats with him often

I can’t praise the staff enough! They’re beyond excellent!!

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a resort This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in this area

I have been coming here for a long time If you choose this place you won’t regret itI don’t know where to start The front desk clerk was wonderful, free breakfast is always a bonus, but a few things stand out Complementary drinks, 3 per day, during happy hour along with some snacks for our kids The pool was fully stocked with towels (not common in other places I’ve stayed) All designated smoking areas are clearly marked And this is only our first night here Did I mention the price was a steal? I’ll be back to edit in a couple days!

We had a great time This was a halfway point so we only stayed for two nights It was perfect, close to the Arch, close to a lot and plenty to do and see around the hotel itself

The kids had a blast It was not overly pricey The aquarium is small but kinda expected that They did a lot with the small space and was pleasantly surprised by how much they had to do for the kids We enjoyed our stay Staff was very helpful, easy to get lost We had some fun in the beginning finding parking but that was all

preston gustin

Absolutely beautiful hotel, bellhops and front desk attendants were every nice and helpfulThis place however for being as expensive as it is has hardly any amenities No room service, not happy hour or snack bar, breakfast not included (which the staff will lie to you about)

The pool even though it’s not open yet is in a very public place with no lounge areaI feel like this place is just pretty and made for conventions and to get you outFire and Light show was pretty decent, you can also hear it from your hotel roomsOutside of the hotel on the aquarium side is pretty cool with the koi pondAlso all of the restaurants close by 10pmIf you have kids this place may be a better stay for you

Mrs. Jacob Eubanks

What a beautiful place! Had a lovely time BUT don’t let the pics of the rooms fool you Those fancy rooms are only the ones you pay a WHOLE LOT MORE for, the suites

The regular rooms are just that Also, careful with breakfast They made it sound continental when it was actually $36 for 2 buffets A bit aggravated because the front desk made it out to be continental Overall the stay was great, and optically pleasant

This Hotel and experience was amongst the best I have ever had The rooms are clean and a decent size, beds were comfortable Room included free full breakfast in dining area and an evening kick back in their lounge which included a few free drinks and finger foods

The premises was well kept and had high guest security which required room keys to enter any main door at night The pool and jacuzzi were heated and they provided pool side towels adjacent to the pool They had a small room that was called the market which had soda, water, beer and wine as well as microwave meals, ice cream, chips, candy and travel items that may have bee forgotten You pay for purchases at the front desk I loved this as the selection was greater than the usual vending machines The staff that greeted us upon arrival was friendly and gave us property information pertinent to our stay It was moderately priced and affordableThe building itself was directly across from Union Station It’s front doors open to a view of the Ferris Wheel originally from the first world’s fair in Saint Louis The Hotel, originally a YMCA was built in the early 1900,s and they did an incredible job of keeping the original architecture which is amazing They also portray the original building via historical photos throughout the lobby Is a beautiful building, they simply do not bother to make things like this today or to add the ornamental extras that were added back thenBeautiful Hotel and a great vacation I highly recommend this Hotel!!!

Stayed here twice now and have absolutely LOVED the rooms! The decor is more something I’d have in my house and not what you normally see in a hotel The best part? The heated toilet seat & bidet! The concierge lounge is kinda small but the appetizers provided were appreciated The front desk staff was amazing and so welcoming ☺️

There’s public parking just across the street so not horrible 10/10 will be looking forward to my next visit!

Jon L Albee

Our stay here was generally excellent A big shout out to Mr Pila out front for his kind, helpful demeanor

I expected a grand soaring lobby, but it’s more intimate The building has been beautifully restored The rooms are excellent and decorated in modern Asian-influenced style The bathroom was huge and awesome although the door didn’t lock Our view was of an abandoned historic building across the street, so not too much to look at out the window The bed was a little soft for my taste, but was certainly acceptable Entire hotel was super clean I didn’t really like the automated order-on-your-phone room service I’d rather have a printed menu and a house phone This hotel is convenient to all of downtown and to Busch Stadium

M. M.

I loved this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer The best thing about our room was the BIDET! The bed was perfect Our room had a record player, AND they included records for us to listen to

There was a TV in the bathroom mirror The shower was amazing–the bathtub and shower were in a huge stall, roomy and comfortable for multiple people I wish the rooftop bar hadn’t been closed for a wedding We’d been looking forward to that It would be nice if they had a separate event space and bar spaceHave cocktails at the downstairs bar–eat somewhere else

Hotel is adjacent to a rough neighborhood but you’ll have that when you stay downtown in a large city Hotel itself is gorgeous and all of the staff we met were incredibly kind and helpful I wish I’d have gotten the valets name from when we checked out – he was amazing

He was super kind to our pups and helped my hubby load the truck so we could easily continue on our adventure He also helped to check us out efficiently We will definitely stay here againOur room was well thought out, with a huge shower in the bathroom Beautiful furniture and a truly eclectic and welcoming vibe

I totally feel like I underpaid for this stay! What a nice hotel with amazing historic properties Loved the exposed ceilings and all of the Art Deco but modern touches The security was an added bonus, all the elevators needed the key card to go up to the floors

Beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was very clean The large walk in showers were just exquisite! I will say that any modern hotel I’ve stayed in lacks hooks or bars in the bathroom Only one hook and one bar in the bathroomJust so you know, there is no self parking included here There are pay lots very close or street parking but the hotel only has Valet that was $30 a day We parked on the street the first night on Sunday since it was free, but the city starts charging at 8am Monday It’s all by the Park mobile app which was easy to use

Shylah Kunick

Pros: The views are awesome! There is an obvious level of attention to detail in the artistry through the entire hotel Most of the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially Luke at the front desk! The morning of check out we hung by the pool and that was the BEST experience we had at the hotel! We got lounge chairs and enjoyed the incredible city skyline The pool water was mostly clean and refreshing in between sun bathing

Cons: check in was at 3 and we couldn’t get our room until 7pm! I’ve never experienced this before at any hotel, much less a high end place We tried to enjoy the rooftop pool and bar while we waited but it was disappointing The place was packed with day pass people There was nowhere to sit and the pool was… Incredibly dirty I think someone puked in the water or something because yikes There was only one bartender and she was out of every single drink I asked for, including the ones advertised on her chalk board… she was way overwhelmed That was a 3 person job she was doing aloneRedeemed: after waiting for two hours upstairs, we finally came down to the lobby bar They comped our drinks, two each, while down there waiting for another hour They comped our valet, $30 also They still couldn’t get our room by 7 so they gave us an “upgrade” which took our regular king room to one with a sitting space We didn’t need that but we were glad to finally have access to a room to freshen up and unwind in!I can only assume the hotel is seriously understaffed right now, causing the struggles we experienced This seems to be a common problem these days, though Hopefully they can get it figured out because I think we would have really enjoyed the hotel otherwise!

We loved our stay at the Ritz Carlton! Upon checking in we were handed a lovely glass of wine The check in process went smoothly There were lots of people in the lobby enjoying the fireplace and socializing with each other

Every employee greeted us with a friendly smile or addressed us by our names The rooms were very clean and well stocked We ordered room service on Sunday, which happened to be Mother’s Day, and our food was quickly delivered Our breakfast was excellent and prepared exactly as ordered The hotel itself is breathtaking and the staff was so friendly When it came time to check out we did not want to leave We would love to come back and stay longer the next time If you travel to St Louis this hotel is a lovely place to book a room and relax during your travels

Sven Tietz

The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the gym which is generous and well appointed and the exact opposite of the cloistered cupboards hotels normally set aside as an afterthought for fitness facilities The spa is highly recommended The rooms are generous and stylish and elegant as one would expect of a Ritz property

But by far, the most impressive and memorable part of the stay is the gracious hospitality of every single team member Without fault every single staff member – from bellman to barman to room service to security to front Desk – every one came across as exceptionally well trained, sincerely friendly and went out of their way at to make my stay pleasant and easierI have stayed at enough hotels to know when staff are just going through the motions and when they are truly and sincerely motivated by and passionate about looking after their guests sincerely Well done to everyone – I will always recommend the Ritz St Louis as one of my most memorable staysWould have given 6 stars if I could

Andrew Erbes

Let me start off by saying that Ritz Carlton is truly a step above other hotels I say this of the chain in general Full service

It’s the kind of place I save and stay for special occasions Check-in was very smooth even though it was late at night I tried to get all the luggage myself but the very friendly valet, I believe his name was Terry, insisted that he get a luggage card and take care of it It was actually appreciated Check in process was smooth I was actually asked for my government ID which is unusual but I have found it to be requested more often at higher end properties No problem We were shown to our room and it was lovely I think it was the base level room but it was big enough and nice enough for me! Good view and nice little balcony Bed was extremely comfortable Here’s where the problems started, and let me preface this by saying that the hotel made everything right and I give them five stars for that In fact I will definitely be staying again But anyway, at first I noticed that the floor seemed cold and or wet in the hall I assume that maybe it was from the air conditioner which I had cranked up because even though it was cold outside it was warm in the room when we arrived, too warm Didn’t think much of it at the time as I inspected the room I discovered that our coffee cups were dirty from prior use I also discovered that some of the towels had either make up or blood in them Or on them I’m not sure which is proper In any case I didn’t need to know if it was makeup or blood, I just knew that I needed new towels I called down and explained about the towels and the coffee cups and immediately replacements were brought by the same gentleman who had shown us to our room Good enough I had also called and asked about leaving my shoes out to be shined and they took them that evening and returned them after I called the next morning They looked like maybe they had been cleaned but I don’t know about polished Nonetheless, they were returned in good condition and in their own little travel bag Anyway Went to sleep after calling down to request a later check out, and slept like a baby We woke up around the time we had scheduled for check out and so I called down and ask for yet another later check out and they gave me a couple or three more hours Much more than sufficient and very generous I thanked them and went to get ready After I showered I noticed that that wet spot in the hallway which was still cold or damp, was much more so, and so I had my girlfriend check and she agreed that it was wet It went in the closet as well At check out I informed the very nice lady at the desk about the floor and when she asked if there were any other issues I did mention about the coffee cup and the towels Not a huge deal, but as someone who has run a business, it’s important to know about issues so that you can fix them She very graciously offered a comp on one of the incidentals which was more than satisfactory The valet pulled the car around and we were on our way The hotel is a gem It’s not perfect, but it is top flight I would have no hesitation recommending it or staying there again, in fact I look forward to it Many thanks to the staff for taking such great care of us

This hotel is spectacular We came into town to visit the baseball stadium and stayed in one of the suites, and it was one of the more impressive rooms we’ve stayed in during our travels Although it may be loud for some, we loved the energy just outside our window from the game

The location is prime We traveled with two young children and to be able to go in and out of the stadium with the hotel right there was a lifesaver We were also able to be a part of the fun from our balcony or just steps outside of the hotel for games we weren’t going to The accommodations are clean, modern, and spacious and everything in our room was top notchMy only complaints are that this location is hard to get to when they block of streets for baseball games, the front desk said police usually let guests bypass the cones but it was a bit stressful to find our way Also, the hotel put over $1,000 in holds on my card in addition to the full cost of the room, our parking, and our restaurant bill I think it will end up not clearing and the front desk said not to worry about it, but I’ve never had additional holds for close to 100% of our room rate put on my card I’ll be keeping an eye on the pending transactions to make sure they don’t clear as the host assured me they wouldn’tIf we are ever in St Louis again, we would absolutely consider this hotel again Thanks for the memories!

Shaleitha Kohliem

The hotel is gorgeous Spacious and clean I love the restaurant options in the hotel

The hustle and bustle of St Louis, it’s nice not to leave out We had the sweetheart special with the sparkling wine, truffles, and 2:00 pm check out, well worth the money However, I didn’t enjoy the stay because we also paid extra for a city view and our view was a parking garage This may be because the hotel is only 8 stories high Very disappointing

T Clark

If you’re attending a Cardinal’s game, this is the place to stay You cannot get any closer to the stadium Valet parking is quick and easy

Front desk associates were very helpfulYou’re also within easy walking distance to the Arch and City GardenIf you’re staying on a game night, you will be able to hear the noise of the game (we were on the stadium side) I personally liked it, but it is not for everyoneI’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the pillows were not comfortable We only stayed in the room to sleep, and with uncomfortable pillows, it was enough to impact the rating Everything else was great though

Highly Recommend! My family and I drove 15 hours to St Louis and had such a nice welcome to this hotel in the late evening Karen at the front desk was very polite and had a great sense of humor

The room was spacious, clean and fit us well for the evening Continental breakfast the next morning, super full of options (eggs, muffins, turkey sausage, pork sausage, waffle bar, boiled eggs, cereal, biscuits, gravy and probably more but we can only eat so much with our eyes) Basin, who was the staff gentleman attending the area, was very helpful to us and kept a very clean breakfast area (big kudos) I had some help finding the ice machine from another staff member but missed her name Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay super awesome for such a short time Oh and Russell was also helpful via phone call when we were on the road and realized the pool was closed, SUPER BUMMER Totally the place to go, location was great and very close to BEAUTIFUL CHURCHES!!!!!

The staff was amazing and accommodating Rooms were good size Very clean place

My wife and I love the service we’ve received from the staff! We had our wedding and reception here a few years ago and the staff helped to make such an enjoyable experience! I’ve always loved staying at Embassy Suites for their spacious suites but this location is certainly unique building structure, layout, and high ceilings The breakfast is great and they offer delicious cook to order omelettes The evening bar reception Is always a nice touch and the bartender was super friendly despite the number of guests that arrived all at once

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an enjoyable stay with friendly service!

Worst hotel ever High price No clean room service

Valets parking $42 per day Smelly carpet I found wet towel under dry towel Broken calling light fixture Dirty yellow big stain on standing lights fixtures The refrigerator door is not closed well Push the door very hard to close Couch was tearing All furniture colors are faded Very delayed all service Broken detergent machine when I needed laundry and hotel said the machine is not belong to us Go to dollar store So so dirty swimming pool water Whirlpool pool is broken and water temperature is not warm Let people still using it I don’t understand why this hotel has high reviews I feel like staying a ghost hotel

Jon Rustad

The room was very spacious for our family We also picked a room very close to the pool, on the fifth floor This worked out really well for going to the pool and coming back with the kids

The breakfast was good, my daughter and I went down early and had no weight When the rest of the family went down at 8 o’clock, there was a large line for food and it took about 20 minutes to get through it The front desk is very helpful Beware of parking, the valet overnight parking is $39 We chose to do street parking since it was free from 7 PM to 8 AM and you can use the app to pay for the spot before after that time There is a risk for street parking in a downtown metro area, but we felt safe with the area we were in and saved a lot of money!

Stayed here on Saturday night and everyone was extremely nice, especially the people working breakfast Sunday morning Loved the water pressure in our room A few things I didn’t like that weren’t deal breakers was that sometimes they key card wouldn’t work to my room

Also, for two adults the breakfast was about 28 bucks The food was yummy so it was okay It was conveniently close to attractions we were going to We will definitely stay here again

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itEverything about our stay at this Holiday Inn was amazing, but by far the most amazing thing was the staff at the hotel The most friendly, kind, positive, happy, and helpful staff I’ve come across in a hotel so far Elisia at the front desk brightened my day every time I walked in the building, or needed new towels, or had questions She was so positive and courteous, always smiling and doing everything she can to give everyone around her a positive experience

One of the coolest hotels i know of, every room is labeled after an English author, the blankets feel like they are made of down The exterior of the building looks incredible and very medieval feeling The interior is even better as there is some old style music playing, the lighting is nice, there’s art and other things everywhere

The tavern is a very cool addition with moody lighting In the mornings the breakfast is good, but seating is a little hard to find Once you do find it it is great though, there is bright and cherry medieval sounding music playing quietly overhead, there’s a chessboard people are playing, there’s couches and art for you to enjoy as you prepare for the dayOverall 9/10 just because the breakfast seating is a little hard to findThere is also 2 story parking under the hotel

my all-time FAVOURITE hotel! the rooms are generous and thoughtfully adorned, and the bathrooms are spacious and luxurious, and the decor is beyond belief! and the pool! but the staff is what really wins the day!

the kindest and most caring staff I have encountered in all my travels! they made everything better than perfect! they loved meeting my pets! if there is anywhere I want to return to, it is here!

This was such a neat and cool hotel! It has a great prestigious air and has pretty decor The front desk attendant was super nice and the room was kept clean, we did not hear any other guests while in our room Refrigerators are by request we found out

It might need some updating but all in all a very neat experience We will definitely be staying again!

Loved this location in St Louis It’s conveniently located near restaurants, gas stations, and shopping stores

A quite new hotel with a nice modern style lobby/bar area It has several private work areas off the lobby and a great outdoor patio with fire pits Nice sized gym with everything you need for a great workout Our room was nice and clean The staff was great 5 stars all the way

My daughter stayed here on June 7th during a road trip She came out the next morning to find her new car of three weeks with a smashed window, contents ransacked and glass all over the interior She had a card with an officers name to contact taped to the car

(Of whom you could not speak to until he came back on duty Friday evening) There was a total of six vehicles that were vandalized that night They do have a security guard on site but it’s more for show so one feels safe staying here Now it’s dealing with insurance repairs and hoping someone will turn in the post cards and photos that were taken and mean nothing to anyone elseI guess one expects a better experience from a MarriottJo

We are definitely going to come back and check out the other rooms!!We had dinner at Ranoush hookah bar and dessert drinks at the Crafted Narwhal Those and lots of other dining options within a mile make this a perfect location

This was a last minute decision for my bf and I when I called, we had been looking for a room with a hot tub and couldn’t find one in our price range, she had told me her last room was just booked but took my number incase he ended up not choosing that night

She called back maybe 15 minutes later and said he wanted the following weekend and gave us a good deal We absolutely loved it and we had never been to a B&B before! The owner was amazing and a very sweet lady The building was beautiful, smelled Great and very Clean We are already planning our next stay and it will be very soon!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would A friend & I were in town for one night We had a room with a view of the Arch

The room was nice & clean with a beautiful view! All of the staff we met were so nice, friendly & helpful I totally plan on taking my husband there for a weekend awayThe only thing that we thought needs changed are the pool hours Closing the pool at 10? We couldn’t swim because of the amount of kids in the pool and hot tubs It would be nice if the pool area kept open until midnight, but closed to under 18 after 9 or 10, so others without kids could enjoy it

DragonBreath

Excellent experience Clean comfortable and great view of the arch The hotel is right next to the arch grounds

The 5:30 free dinner happy hour was wonderful 3 free drinks! (Attached video) Lobby has a full coffee bar and fountain drinks Had a great conversation with the very friendly front desk clerk and she just randomly upgraded our room for free! I definitely recommend a stay here

Brianna Reno

Greatly enjoyed our time at Drury Inn right next to the Arch The views were amazing, loved walking across the street to the Arch We met family here and had four rooms

We were all on the same floor and it made hanging out together great The staff was extremely nice and we chatted frequently in depth with many of them We stayed over Easter weekend and they were always cleaning and keeping it clean while the surge arrived on Friday and dissipated by Monday Having a full breakfast and full dinner was a great perk! Saved so much money by having two hot meals provided a day (plus adult beverages in the evening) We will be back! The interior was exceptional; we loved the aesthetic of the hotel Keep up the great work!

This hotel is excellent! And very dog friendly with amazing staff! I’ve stayed here before and so happy I chose to come back I have added this stop as a staple for traveling between east-west coasts I was fortunately given a room on the first floor which had easy access to the side door and it was so convenient for taking my dog out

The area is also perfect with a dog park down the street I also really appreciated the help I received every time I went to the front desk Everyone was lovely I’m looking forward to coming back!

Brooke McTavish

The entire staff we had contact with was super friendly and helpful every time The breakfast staff was on top of it! Charlene in particular was fantastic! She was helpful, super funny, kind, and always making sure everyone was taken care of She went above and beyond to help others, even the kid that thought sausage gravy was oatmeal

Everything was very clean and our room was nice I’d definitely stay here again

Donna Trovarello

The hotel itself was OK Because we brought our dog, they did not come in and clean our room People left out entire bags of garbage and linens in the hallway, which made it look very messy

The included breakfast was very good The 2 ladies who worked the breakfast in the morning were fabulous! They were friendly and they were worker bees I will say all of the staff was lovely No complaints with the staff The hotel was in an area that was accessible to a lot of things, but you definitely needed a car if you wanted to go to the aquarium or the arch
