This is a newer hotel with modern design It’s located right next to a big shopping mall, many convenience stores, supermarket, restaurants The hotel is kid friendly and it has a long swimming pool if you want to do lap swim

That is a rare amenity Oh, it’s half outdoor with half shade but it is heated !! The staff is nice and very responsive to our request Room is clean with a great view of the mountain and a cute dog park

Katz

Wonderful experience staying here while house hunting after a cross country move Every person that I interacted with on staff was warm and kind They helped me with a number of unusual requests without hesitation and I felt very supported with the special needs of the stay

The food at the restaurant was super delicious and had something for everyone but featured really fresh ingredients and outstanding flavors Pro tip – request a room with a core of the dog park- delightful Highly recommend!

I really don’t ever leave reviews, but this hotel was fantastic It was very clean, the rooms had very nice views, and the surrounding area has a lot of food options The staff and management also went above and beyond to make my stay great

I was (to my bad fortune) working nights while on business travel, and was having a hard time sleeping during the day with the sound of footsteps above me Not their fault at all, people move around during the day, just my bad luck The front desk allowed me to move to a top floor room no problem and I slept like a baby I also found the HVAC units to be very quiet The staff was kind and the restaurant staff was so kind as well, as was the bartender There was a small mix up with one of my call in orders (no problem, humans make mistakes, and I called close to kitchen close time) The bartender was kind enough to give me a drink on the house, and my food was brought to my room I totally understand mistakes happen, so it wasn’t necessary, but it really shows how much the staff here cares about their guests If I’m out for work travel again I will certainly be staying here

Booking at the Creekside Inn was the most delightful surprise I travel to Palo Alto monthly and usually stay at a Hilton or Marriott property but because nearly everything was booked for the week I was there last, I took a chance on this place It’s a dream

The setting and environment is so understated from the road The rooms are clean and up to date and the balconies are a really nice touch It’s in a very natural setting Housekeeping was prompt and the area restaurants and cafes are everywhere It’s the closest I’ve stayed to my work destination and the Creekside Inn will continue to be my choice on future visits I wish they had a loyalty program!

Waldo, the boy at the front desk, was extremely rude He tried to scam me out of $400 when I originally paid $120 He acts like this is the fanciest hotel ever… it’s not

When i refused to pay the hefty price tag, he also refused to let me have a refund so I could go to another hotel He claimed to have called his manager, but said I wasn’t aloud to talk to her? It was just all really strange and something I’ve never experienced at a hotelI did really like the rooms, super clean and big I would have liked my room more if I hadn’t been standing outside for 4 hours arguing with Waldo Seriously guys, I would skip this hotel They scammed me out of 250 dollars

We were forced to stay here as our 1 month advance booking which was confirmed at another Marriott was shifted to this place to as they were overbookedRooms are very good Nice and clean

But no one comes to housekeeping everyday, that’s surprisingPlenty of parking was available when we cameAnd the breakfast was everyday the same, sausage, scrambled eggs and oats, milk, juice etc which can definately be improved

Sanjay Senthilkumar

Not the best hotel as such but definitely up there Great value for the price paid Really helpful staff and the location is amazing! Not the biggest issue but there are multiple buildings and my room was very far from the help desk

Would help to have a secondary help desk if possible

Man-Soo Hwang

This was my first stay in over 2 years Not sure if it’s the result of the pandemic staff shortage, but they would only service the room if you ask for it On one day they didn’t service it even after I asked for it to be before leaving the room in the morning

I hope this is a temporary issue as I really like this place due to the convenient location

We stayed here while receiving medical treatment at Stanford Hospital The owner and cleaning staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs The rooms have been completely remodeled

Even though the hotel is right off a major road, the rooms are quiet at night and we didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms There is a lovely patio with outdoor furniture and water features where we spent a lot of time The landscaping is beautiful There are restaurants, Walgreen’s and shopping center within walking distance We enjoyed our stay and have already booked to return

Viki Lowrey

This classic motel has been remodeled with all the modern-day amenities that one could ask for I booked the last room the afternoon of our stay for four nights and was first impressed by the reasonable pricing for the area Upon arrival the young man in the office was warm, caring, professional, and welcoming too

The room was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean You have all the convivences of a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and supplies including free snacks They also offer more free snacks in the office for the taking They even give you a razor and a toothbrush They have covered gazebo type outside seating surround by a beautiful garden and two soothing fountains What a wonderful place to unwind after a long day We were greeted by the owner who took the time to speak with us and even had a bottle of wine brought out for us Above and beyond does not begin to sing the praises of the experience we had during our stay It is home away from home without the hassles of everyday demands Stay here and you to will be glad you did

Amber Lee

Amazing stay here at the Palo Alto Inn The manager is very kind, friendly, and welcoming We felt right at home here for our dead show vacation

The room was nice, clean, and we had a few extra things inside we didn’t expect like snacks, drinks, extra toothbrushes/paste even a razor and shaving cream all free AC blew cold and clean all night and the bed was SO comfy Would definitely stay here againHighly recommendedIf you are a late owl like us, definitely get food before the entire town closes

This is a hidden gem! We booked from out of state and chose this hotel for the ratings and their professional attention to cleanliness The front desk staff was so helpful! My boyfriend had to take a college final for an online course and forgot some sheets and a calculator The front desk helped print what he needs from the business center and let him borrow a calculator for his exam! The room and bathroom were so cute! Only issue was the tv connection quality at night but it was better in the morning

The bed was AMAZING Everything so clean Hope we come to town again so we can stay here! Forgot the names of the front desk staff that helped us but we felt like this was a 5 star hotel with how kind and attentive the staff was!

Maggi Mackintosh

I have stayed here a couple of times Both times the service has been great The location is easy to get to

First time the room was nice and comfortable This time was different Watch out if you get sent down to the first floor, outside set of rooms The corridor was pretty dark (kind of reminded me of horse stalls) and the room was an odd mix, mostly of unrennovated elements and a good bed and linens The wallpaper was dated and coming off the wall in pockets, areas looked worn, and old I usually don’t notice most of these kinds of details But it was just a little shabby and not what I expected for this hotel It was more like a lesser motel in appearance I got to the hotel around 9:30pm Maybe it was the last room available? Or I was a bad girl (not that I know of)? Or that I paid a discounted rate for travel? Or I hadn’t connected the visit to my rewards card? I don’t know what I did to get banished to the outside, slightly intimidating night time, corridor Being exhausted, I went to sleep and left quickly in the morning, despite planning to take two calls from the room in the morning

Lopetii Inukihaangana

It’s dated yes but budget friendly There is parking and additional parking in the back There are rooms that are inside the and rooms that are partially outside but there is stone fencing that if you want to see your car in the parking lot you can do so

Staff is great and if you want high class hotel to match your buying power go for the Four seasons But if decide to stay at the Crowne Plaza with good people It’s near freeways which cradles between Los Altos, Palo Alto, Stanford, Menlo Park ,Mountain view very fun communities with fun things to do Just have an open mind and be adventurous lots of different restaurants and fruit stand down the street I stayed there and also rented the cabana on hot summer days we had a blast

A little slice of heaven that I do NOT want to leave! I wish I could give it ten stars! The staff is so welcoming and everyone remembers your name, the food is scrumptious and plentiful (and MANY gluten free and vegetarian options as well as meat), there are so many classes to choose from, like yoga, classes, massage, hikes, fitness, etc, and the land is beyond breathtakingSo many redwood trees, hiking trails and so many places you can sit down and relax, read a book, journal by the hearth fire The energy in this place is welcoming and kind and if you want to just sit by yourself you can or if you want to socialize you can

Everyone is so respectful and courteous (and genuinely so)Such an amazing experience that I will not forget soon I will be back!

Canyon Ranch Woodside is a gracious gem of a retreat center nestled in the redwood forest on Skyline Blvd I immediately begin to calm as I drive through the gate and enter this serene property The trails, nooks with thoughtful, quiet seating, and buildings all nurture an intertwined engagement with the natural world that is gentle and renewing

Even more, the staff are a group of the most gracious, welcoming, and kind professionals – every one of them takes a keen interest in guests’ well-being and needs while evidencing a camradarie as a team that speaks to their care for their work and the space If you have a chance, go Gift yourself the time to rest, restore, and be nurtured at Woodside It’s amazing

Spent an afternoon poolside and it was lovely! There are plenty of options for shade and everything was clean and well kept The true star of the show was the service we received from the poolside dining staff Our drinks were never empty, the food was fresh and thoughtful and we were able to relax our way into the weekend

It was truly a pleasure Great atmosphere and even better service!

Kate Morgan Woodward

I went to a corporate event on the lawn I’ve been to cocktails in the restaurant but I must say corporate event on the lawn exceeds cocktails in the restaurant The food was delicious

I think there was a chicken and a butternut squash offered for the main There was salad and beef tartar for the appetizer The food was delicious and I only wish I had had more

Ashley Jung

Such a warm welcoming pool reception to kick off their new summer menu Jacqueline and her team really went beyond expectations with their service Amazing featured cocktail as well as their delicious food that was being passed around with smiles on each staff member’s face

Rosewood Sand Hill has emphasized their amazing ambiance, spectacular views and their stellar customer service I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for another home away from home

It is a charming 1924-style boutique hotel with friendly staff located in a century-old apartment building and lots of old-world charm throughout From clock, safe, and phone booths to the elevator and staircases, you feel like you transponded back in history Rooms are modern and comfortable though

We had a room with a private bathroom, can’t imagine otherwise, but I’ve seen people using a shared bathroom as well At almost $400 per night including tax, it was on the pricey side but if you book in advance, the rates are much lower The hotel is clean and the location next to Palo Alto City Hall is awesome for local experience and for a short walk to the Stanford shuttle The hotel receptionist asked us whether we want a quiet room or a nice view, and we selected quiet, but it was tiny with a weird layout with an entrance from below the staircase So we switched to the one with a view and it was much nicer and not too noisy We qualified for the Stanford affiliate package so we got free breakfast in the Maxine cafe next door, which was very very good, and highly recommended Try their breakfast croissant, you won’t regret itThere are two reasons why I gave it 4 vs 5: 1/ it has no air conditioning so on warm days it is hard to breathe inside the room 2/ we were charged for our stay one day before departure, which is a weird experience I specifically asked when the charge will be made and was told “upon departure”, which was not the case We asked and were told it was a mistake Otherwise, a great place to stay in Palo Alto, I might use it again

Laurens Geffert

In summary, the Cardinal COULD be amazing but I’m sorry to say that it fell short for usLoved the location, I think it’s probably the best place to stay in Palo Alto or Stanford if you don’t want to have to drive everywhere The building is beautiful, especially the lobby

Unfortunately our room had some issues For starters, it was very hot inside and there was no air conditioning Not great for the little one who had a hard time sleeping There was a fridge in the room but it wasn’t working Due to the heat we had to leave the window open, but the sports bar across the street was blasting music until late in the evening, including a 12:00 am “We are the champions” at maximum volume to an almost empty barWhat really knocked down the rating for me though was breakfast It was supposed to happen at an external downstairs brasserie at 8 am (weekends) However, the guy there just seemed to make up opening hours on the spot! 8:30ish, 9:00 Nothing like showing up to get your morning coffee when you’re on East Coast time, only to find out it’s going to be another hour, and for no good reason We spoke to front desk about it and were not offered an alternative or compensationThat said, the staff was otherwise lovely Check-in was fast and efficient and they even gave us an early check-out and refund of one night

Cathy Burroughs

This was one of the most magical places we’ve ever stayed The Cardinal celebrates old world charm with a magnificent gold gilded lobby, high ceilings, chandeliers and one of the most alluring Christmas tree and holiday decorations we’ve ever experienced An amazing value with clean, comfortable rooms, modern elegant hallway bathrooms or en-suite

You will travel back in time in one of Palo Alto’s lesser known historic hotel finds Doesn’t get much better and at an extraordinary value!

I had room 106 by the outside patio and I could hear everyone The AC in the room was loud too A good quality hotel have quiet rooms, this is not it

The hotel is well renovated but on a poor foundation (thin walls…) Felt overpricedMy bathroom was not like the picture tooOn a positive side, the staff was friendly and the outside patio was great

Ryan Spitzbart

The Nest is a modernized hotel that captures the idea of a luxury like hotel, but in a more casual manner I’ll go over my specific details with pros and consPros:-Outdoor fireplace amenities, making the stay more cozy and relaxing-Clean yet small workout room-55 Inch LG TV with Apple TV included-Sliding barn door, separating the bedroom and bathroom

-This is a big one; complementary parkingCons:-Location in Palo Alto is lackluster and may seem sketch to those unfamiliar with Palo Alto-No food cuisines to offer on site-No microwave or refrigerator, which I found rather odd-Thin walls so hopefully you don’t luck out with noisy neighbors during the nightOverall, I’d recommend if you can get a deal for this hotel by a third party, it’s worth giving the hotel a chance Paying regular price can be pricey, and nearby options could accommodate more for what your paying for May return in the future

Alex Sonne

This quality of construction is rarely seen outside of rural Thailand You can hear your alcoholic neighbor snoring If someone is walking anywhere in the hotel, you can hear or feel the steps

There’s no place to put your luggage except on the floor Really really low quality Pay interstate motel prices or find a different placeNice staff, convenient area

Excited to stay Nobu Hotel in Palo AltoNice ambiance and unusual rest room with toto vide The lighting system was so modern

However, the service was not great Room cleaning had to be requested at 3 pm after though staff had come earlier but only refilled the mini barThe picture is Japanese Breakfast Bento which looks good and tastes good

J P

We were excited to stay at Nobu as we understood, from their marketing, that it was exceptionally cool, exclusive, and boutique We looked on their site for a nice room and found that the Zen Suite (about $1,200) was available for the night we wanted to stay, which happened to be that same night When we landed we checked again to see if it was available and it was, but since we were only a few minutes away we decided to go right to the hotel and check in rather than reserving online

The two young gentlemen at the front desk (early twenties and very inexperienced, but doing their best) laughed when we asked about the suite and said they were all booked and that Expedia was likely having problems We said we saw it was available, not on Expedia, but on the Nobu Palo Alto site and we pulled it up in front of them Anyway, don’t trust their site for booking, you’d have to call to be certain before putting in your card info to make sure you aren’t booking a room that doesn’t exist inside the cancellation time Then it just got stupid they only had rooms with two queen beds (which by the way they are not queen beds – they are doubles which are really small) Since we were already there and tired we decided to take the two queen room Got to our room and a large panel fell off the wall when my wife opened the safe The paneling isn’t aligned and opening the safe cabinet door was enough to dislodged a 3 by 4 foot heavy panel from the wall which then fell on her We switched rooms The next room had a lovely thick black hair in the sink, maybe a dark sushi noodle, not sure It was end of day so we decided whatever we came up against we would stay The beds are not queen beds, but I mentioned that already Rooms are small TV is enormous and really great, but very limited channels but still – it’s a great TV Shower was ok but no hand held and they have a “Japanese” style wood floor in the shower which serves only an aesthetic purpose, and maybe to hide hair underneath, but damn it hurts the feet Bathroom is very tiny The toilet was unbelievably great and the showcase of the room, along with the TV The toilet is fully automated with remote control, heated seat, squirty things etc Basically you are renting a toilet and TV with some surrounding furniture No electrical outlets next to beds – just USB ports which is fine but not if you have new iPhone etc Carpets are stained, mostly because of the color selection we think which shows an archaeological history of prior guest shenanigans There is only one elevator which gets tedious The common areas of the hotel are sort of finished but not really There is an odd second floor patio that is 8 feet wide with some furniture facing a wall Nobody was out there There are surely other spots to stay that would be a better value and still very nice We couldn’t help but think Nobu is more of a marketing and food services company than a hotel company We give three stars which we think is fair for a three star hotel

T W

The highest level of service ever received! The hotel is simple and refined The best concierge I have ever interacted with! From toiletries to arranging sightseeing/recommendations (everyone from valet) {so personable!}Excellent hotel for business and pleasure 5-star hotel without a stuffy Four Seasons/Ritz approach

Room service is top notch Front desk was super responsive when I needed more shampoo/conditioner/Nespresso podsWe stayed in a Ryokan room which I can not emphasize just how incredible and serene the room feels We were granted early checkin as soon as we landed from SFO at 11amI booked this not expecting much, but the small touches and personalized attention is what sets Nobu apart from anyone elseThe 82 inch tv is magical as is the heated toilet seat, you’re welcome!

We stayed at the Penthouse Suite for our wedding weekend, and I would strongly recommend the same for other couples The hotel is beautiful, both the rooms and common areas, and the staff was extremely thoughtful and considerate during the booking process as well as during the weekend Compared to other hotels in the area, the price is much more justified by the quality of the experience

I highly recommend El Prado and hope to return some day

Gorgeous hotel– we were trying to rent an event space for weeks/months but the service was extremely disappointing, waiting extended periods for a response from the events/sales coordinator, no contract sent after saying it would be sent several times, etc We sent several ‘hi just checking in on this’ emails to try to move the process along and get a response, but eventually we just decided to not risk it with the unreliable service and scheduled our event at a different hotel Hopefully the service improves because it is a lovely space

My family and I stayed at the El Prado hotel It was a fantastic stay and would love to stay there again The hotel staff was extremely polite, the rooms were very clean, no noise, and a great view of the courtyard

We originally ordered 1 room but opted to get a second room so our kids would have more space to spread out (besides, it would have been difficult for my wife and kids to share 1 bathroom)The location of the hotel is just off the main street that has several restaurants We had plans to go to Il Forniao (Italian restaurant downstairs) but we had jetlag and unfortunately, the restaurant was close to closing that night we arrived I had eaten at the restaurant in the past and it has a wonderful menu selection and amazing pastaWe took the kids down the street to Salt and Straw (icecream) It’s a must if you are staying at El Prado Get the Cookie dough and Cinnamon icecreams if you go thereRoom service in the hotel was very good My kids thought the chicken strips and the grilled cheese sandwich were a bit drybut the tuna was REALLY good (make sure you get the bowl of mixed berries with your dinnerthat was also very good) For breakfast we had the omelette and yogurt for breakfast; it was excellentI think all the rooms have a view of the courtyard Ensure you get a room with a balcony it was nice to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air

Stayed here a week ago! The hotel has great facilities like a swimming pool and a well stocked gym Staff are friendly and inviting! Room service is very quick and anything we requested through the app was brought hastily The food is really good as you’d expect from the Four Seasons

Room was nice and spacious and the beds were great! The sound proofing is amazing; we’re very light sleepers and we did not hear any noise at all An overall great stay!

I’ve traveled to the Bay Area for work dozens of times, and this was my first time staying at the Four Seasons It definitely won’t be my last!I absolutely loved everything about my stay The bed was heavenly (planning to buy the linens for my own home!), the room was spacious and bright, and the room service was outstanding

I worked late every evening so ended up eating in my room way more often than anticipated and couldn’t have been more pleased Huge kudos to the housekeeping staff for a lovely stay Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent hotel as you’d expect Rate was actually very good through corporate travel site so this was my first time visiting – normally very costly compared to other properties in the area On site restaurant is very good, staff is attentive and the room was excellent

Fitness center was easy to use and had enough equipment for everyone between 8a and 9a on a Tues and Thurs morning Parking is valet or self-park (no fees but get an overnight parking pass from the valet to put on your dash) Would stay again and again as long as the price stays right

I’m not sure why it’s rated as a 3 star hotel I thought it was greatThe Aloft lobby had games for families

They had great out door seating and a nice pool The room was very clean and modern I really loved having a Bluetooth speaker in the room ( super cute, shaped like a fender amp) I would stay here again It was about a 15 min drive over to the mountain view amphitheatre with traffic

Jennifer P

loved the non-carpted floors (I hope / trust it is wiped very clean between guests!) The towels were not the cleanest looking but again, I trust they were washed well I also loved that the water pressure in the shower was strong to be able to take a quicker and nice warm shower

The parking lot towards the back of the property could use better lighting, it is so dark that you wouldn’t be able to see if someone tries to break in

Elie Glik

Stayed here for a business trip Hotel is pretty good (except for noise isolation), and would have been a 4/5 star review, except that:They didn’t charge me for the hotel room; when I called, it was hard to reach the manager who never returned my calls Finally they just charged me again for it, but didn’t send a receipt

Management seems pretty incompetent and billing was a pain Please fix

Property is a bit hard to find at first It’s behind another building off the street Outside parking is limited

Spacious parking in the underground garage Honestly for the bay area, the secure underground parking is probably the best idea Rooms are clean Property is clean Plenty of hot water Comfortable beds Staff is friendly and extremely helpful The gas grill by the fireplace is a great bonus The outdoor gas fireplace is nice too The fitness center is good for a hotel fitness center Would stay here again

A group of about 14 of us stayed here on a work trip for pretty much a month From the first day we checked in almost almost everyone in the group was unhappy Rooms not ready, as soon as you walked in the rooms they had a pungent smell, molded shower curtains (housekeeping never changes), no soap & toilet paper

The first day we checked in I felt sorry for the front desk receptionist at first since some of the group mistook her for the first lady that was at the desk when we first arrived but it was a different lady Everyone was complaining I gave them a fair chance till I had to beg for over a week for my room to be cleaned When housekeeping finally cleaned my room they did not put toilet paper or cheated the tub When I first arrived in this room the shower curtain was full of mold and still she refused to change it After calling front desk several times someone finally changed it Came back to my room the shower curtain package and trash was left all over my room Besides all of the above one room key opens EVERY ROOM!!!! Two members of my team had someone walked in each of their rooms!!! This place is not safe! I was so happy after we moved to another hotelThis is not even why I’m leaving the review The reason why I am leaving this review and I will be leaving a review for this hotel on every site I can and I’ll make sure my team do too! I had a package delivered there and I have yet to receive it I’ve been calling for weeks Spoke to both Edgar and Jessica several times with each saying they will get back to me and no one has Every time I call there is no manager or someone will reach out to me I know the package was delivered since they called me the day it was delivered Now I’m calling every week and no one can get back to me and let me know where my package is This package has my medication along with some other items! It’s been weeks and NO one has gotten back to me Last person I spoke with was Edgar couple days ago and today and he said to me he don’t know when the manager will contact me or if they will So I asked for the email Stay away from this hotel if you want to be safe, not get sick from mold or want your packages!!!

The staff were amazing! And the Hotel was nice too I was sent here after I booked somewhere else and they canceled my reservation The original hotel made a huge mess of my plans and my day, and Fernando at the Residence Inn made it all better

He worked hard to make someone elses screw up into a better day for me The hotel was clean and quiet Everything we needed in the kitchen

Incredible hotel! From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s a special place The ambiance is unlike any other hotel I’ve stayed at The artwork and photography throughout add such charm and celebrates the history and achievements of so many Stanford greats, providing a strong connection to the area

The restaurant and bar within the hotel (both indoors and outdoor) are spectacular! The entire staff are so friendly and make you feel like a part of their extended family from the moment you check-in I felt so welcome and taken care of our entire stay The hotel room was very spacious and I was blown away by the cleanliness! I highly recommend this hotel and will never stay anywhere else when I’m in the area!

The rooms are good, but we had a terrible experience at the reception We reserved a suite, when we were doing the check in at around 3:20 pm, the reception lady told us the suite was not ready yet and we had to stay where we’d like to wait for it for around an hour We asked if it was possible to let us check in some other room and then transfer back to the room we reserved when it’s ready, they refused and only provided us an option to change our reservation to a king bed room

No better solution was ever provided to us

Janice Allen

Awesome!! Amazing place!! small problem When I entered the room it had a strong air freshener scent, pungent

I discovered why when I opened the closed bathroom door, it smelled like vomit🤢 As a nurse this odor was easy to recognize I had just gotten off work and was too exhausted to drive the 100miles to my home I’ve had some not so great experiences as a travel nurse having to stay at various hotels I was too tired to request another room Honestly I didn’t know what to expect, choosing not to pick the battle of “I need another room”So I kept the bathroom door wide open to allow this unpleasant scent to leave and turned up the air-conditioning unitThe odor was less concentrated overtime and I slept Extremely!! well I chose to shower in the morning so not to be in the bathroom until the scent had dispersed The bed slept far!! better than others I’ve slept in other hotels Even though I didn’t appreciate the vomit odor, I Totally enjoyed the room!! It was Fantastic in design , comfort and decor!!

Yoon Sheen

Absolutely the worst courtyard I ever stayed at, would give it 0 stars if I could Staff are unprofessional and rude, told us our reserved room is no longer available and we needed to downgrade to another room The room does not feel very clean and air is stagnant

Meanwhile everything in the hotel is overpriced, parking costs $15 per night On the website it said breakfast is included but in reality it is not and you need to pay

Nice hotel, great location What really makes this special is the person who greeted me at the front desk Her name is Cat and she is AMAZING

I’ve been traveling for several weeks and I came in exhausted My flight was canceled and I’ve been having a busy / stressful day Cat immediately greeted me with a smile and a joke and made me feel relaxed and comfortableAfter my (much deserved) nap, I’m going to try to hit the pool to relaxTHANK YOU CAT!!!

Eric

A mixed stay this trip, but hopefully related to their ongoing renovationsThe Good: very high quality service as expected from a Westin Due to the renovations there was a mix of Westin and Sheraton staff on call, but quality was great all across

The Surprising: housekeeping appears to have switched from expected to on request only When I confirmed with the front desk after several days, they apologized that I wasn’t told when I checked in Not sure if this is a regional (CA is under a major drought warning) or a staffing (due to post-Covid issues) change, but unexpected nonethelessThe Gratifying: The property, in the final stages of its renewal, is lovely on the inside and out, and it’s location near the Palo Alto downtown makes this a great place to stay in the Valley
