Took a day trip here to visit the local attractions and thought the stay was very comfortable The staff are friendly and the rooms are very spacious with separate bedrooms and living areas The hotel has its own pier and the restaurant next door has great drinks! We had a beautiful view of the sunset from our room which was well worth the price

T. Harkins

Staff was unprofessional and rude to my disabled adventure buddy The GM literally got mad at me for the staff not doing their job I didn’t know until the morning of check out that my friends bed appeared to have food and makeup stains all over it neither of us wear make up, so wasn’t from us

GM basically yelled at me and accused me of lying about our stay Nobody answers the desk phone, so the only way to address anything is in person and they yell at you for not fixing it Room was super dirty too Wish I could add pictures hereTowels are old and so thin they’re about to rip White bedding is stained and not really white Shower head malfunction resulted in water everywhere; I was advised to clean it up then I had to beg for more towels and the removal of old towels They literally had to step over old wet towels to leave new towels2 starts for location and river views Balcony was nicest part As long as we we’re out on adventures we had a great trip I’m so grateful it didn’t rain and we didn’t need to be in the room all weekend I literally paid way too much for this experience

Mee Oh (Joy)

The only hotel in Saint George Island If you want to stay in very quiet and peaceful place with great views this is the one But don’t expect too much

Hotel itself isn’t very welcoming and sort of outdatedThe staffs didn’t look like professional Breakfast was not t even okay Nevertheless you will be amazed by 360 degrees awesome views with beautiful sunrise and sunset Don’t forget to visit Ruddy Duck Seafood and Alehouse, the restaurant right next door Their food was awesome!

My new bride made reservations for this trip, as such, the room was not under my last name There was no social hour, breakfast, snack, or beverage offered purportedly due to covid It appeared that the dining space was significantly reduced due to the fact that the back deck for outdoor dining was condemned

There were multiple signs of neglect in the interior and exterior of the building This building has potential, but will take some work It would not have a bad experience for a $55 stay, but extremely disappointing for the price paid

KH Yoga Education

They are not ADA compliant I was turned away at the door due to my disability after a confirmed reservation in my husband’s name If you’re a person traveling with a disability, stay away from this place

They won’t treat you like a person I can’t speak to the inside of the room, I never made it But I highly recommend finding an alternative place to stay, anywhere else I normally only write about positive experiences, but I would never want someone else to be stranded They don’t want disabled money They will turn you away with an empty parking lot and little other revenue coming in

ilene levin

This is the worst place to stay They have no amenities They claim to have a sheep farm but that is a total lie

The place is completely run down and has not been taken care of They do not have a kitchen The patio doors do not lock and the patios are filthy with leaves, cobwebs, bugs, etc They also claim to provide a breakfast When we checked in, they gave us a small lunch bag with two store bought muffins, individual oatmeal packets and pretzels that they clearly bought from the grocery store They have a no refund policy for a reason because when you check-in, you want to leave right away

Lisha Nicole Boggs

I was here for my Husband’s Birthday/Memorial Day Weekend and we enjoyed our weekend!! The resort is beautiful, the view of the beach was amazing!! The staff from check-in to check -out was friendly and courteous They made sure our visit went as smoothly as possible I really enjoyed our Atrium suite overlooking the pool

My only comment about the pool would be the hours The pool is open 9am -10am adults only, then until 10 pm adults and kids We don’t have any kids but found that we had to get down to the pool early to enjoy the quiet and relax; but noticed before 10 am kids were jumping in the pool Maybe extend the adults only time a little longer? I did enjoy the jacuzzihowever it is rather small My husband is 6’4 and we were in there with another couple and were comfortable Shortly a third couple joined and we left as it was becoming crowded I took off one star for the room as there was a leak outside the bathroom from the light fixture above Whenever the people upstairs took a shower or used the water it dripped in our room from the ceiling Upon checking out we told the staff member at the front desk and she said she would let the appropriate persons know; however, this may be helpful in the future but didn’t help us any Overall I would come back again, I love the resort, the location and all the great eateries within walking distance !!

Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort has so much to offer, especially if you have little kids The indoor pool, private beach access, and large atrium for them to run around was perfect for my 18 month and five year old! Parking is very convenient with their own garage We stayed in a poolside suite that had 2 beds in a separate room, and a living room with a pull out couch and full kitchen

Plenty of room for my daughters pack n play and us all to be comfortable! We will definitely stay here again, everything was so clean and there was always something to keep my kids busy!

Corina McNeil

Our stay was GREAT!!! The staff was very attentive and helpful We rented a condo, it had 2 bedrooms one with a king size bed the other had 2 queen size bed the living room also had a pull out couch 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen

With the location of the hotel you could either go out to eat but on other days maybe you just want to stay in and cook There’s a ACME grocery store within walking distance Having that option can save a lot of money The only downside was their elevator situation During peak times you may have to wait a good 10/15 minutes for a elevator But all in all I loved my stay

Very nice boardwalk hotel Great location! Convenient to so many places to eat and shop The room was nice, bed was comfortable

The only thing I didnt like was the first morning there we had put the do no disturb sign on the door and went to breakfast, but when we came back housekeeping had already entered and been through our room Not a really big deal, more of a comfort level thing We were on the 3rd floor and one night there was a group of men on the large communal patio area below our balcony and they were very loud into the morning hours Finally an employee asked them to quiet down and thankfully we got some sleep Nice beach area in front of the hotel too We would absolutely stay there again

We have been going to Park Place for the past 10+ yrs We love Park Place from the location to how clean it is Some of the front desk people don’t have much of a personality while others did always greet us when we came in the lobby The house cleaning crew were very friendly

The one thing you may want yo watch with ocean front is they have a side that has the restaurant deck seating on and thats the room we had and it was very hard to sit there while people were eating on the deck You may want to request the other side I really don’t have anything bad to say about this place other than the prices have jumped so high practically doubled in price than what we paid in the past ever since they are under new ownership It’s not worth the prices when you are basically in a two bed hotel room They claim that’s how it is across the boardwalk however the previous owners were different and not greedy and accommodating I will say I was able to keep my rate this year due to making the reservations under the previous owners and I appreciate that But I have been so stressed about not being able to afford this place that we have gone to the past 10+ yrs and made many memories with my mom and daughter Hopefully they will reevaluate their prices or accommodate the people that have been dedicated in staying with them and referring many people to Park Place

Kayla Perkins

Room was clean and spacious Location is great – access to the boardwalk from lobby of hotel Kids loved it and already want to go back! My only complaint was the restaurant wasn’t open much (probably because they weren’t yet in their busy season)

Also, as a random side note, the in-room coffee maker is a 4-cup drip coffee maker I wish hotels would switch to something that accepted k-cups They are so much more convenient when traveling!

Val was amazing and beyond kind and friendly He always had a smile and never failed with kind wishes or a friendly greeting Ruby the housekeeper was the best

Our room was clean, smelled fresh and the room was dry and comfortable from the moment we walked in When you go to the beach you expect linens and the air in the room to feel damp just by the nature of the ocean air, but our linens felt crisp and the bed was so comfortable we could have stayed in bed all dayexcept for this thing called “checkout” Great job Ocean 1

Melissa Fabbri

The night auditor, Jamie, deserves a massive raise This man went above and beyond any expectations I’ve ever had for customer service! Myself and a friend were in a somewhat uncomfortable situation during a late night stroll on the boardwalk and he was there to make sure we were OK I’ve traveled a lot and I’ve never had such a great experience with a hotel employee

Thank you Jamie!! And thank you Ocean One for having such an amazing employee!

Kenny G Lives

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone Great staff very friendly and professional Quiet

Clean rooms ample housekeeping service The only complaint I had the second time was that the water was only like warm at best Everything thing else was great ! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend some time in OC

The finest hotel we have ever stayed in We default to Marriott and have stayed at legendary, impressive brands The Ivy outclasses them all

From the moment we arrived and handed over our car to the valet, we knew we were going to be cared for by a well-trained TEAM Every single member has obviously been trained in service and teamwork They were simply outstandingThe concierges all had a broad knowledge of the surrounding area but were obsessed with making sure we received the experience we wanted They were pleasant and engaged without being garralous They paid attention When I highlighted a possible error on a 2rd party travel website, they took it personally and got to the bottom of it They understand service is not perfection, but a relentless commitment to teamwork and continuous improvementThe food was splendid The breakfasts were delicious, the daily afternoon teas were refreshing, relaxing, and welcome Dinner was always deliciousSo the price is higher than usual-and 100% worth it Yes, they provided value to us as clients and we would gladly return Spectacular time!

Pool was small but nice Beds were in good shape although thr 2nd day I got a comforter with a burn mark Staff was very friendly! Restaurant connected to the hotel had good food and our waitress was so helpful with my food allergy! The negative with the hotel was that the towels had a mildew smell

It’s a beach hotel so I can forgive a few things but even with new towels they still smelled pretty bad

Brandi Valentine

Hotel was updated nice and very clean staff was very friendly and helpful rooms are spacious brand new ac units nice mattresses clean floors and bathrooms first time I’ve left a tip for the cleaning crew in prob 3 years spectacularly clean

Guests however were a nightmare and rude Signs asking them to dry off from the pool before walking through the lobby ignored all day long 1 staff members job is to wipe up the floor and elevators all day long People smoking pot and cigarettes in thier rooms fills the hallways all day and night even tho they have balconys just being inconsiderate Also slamming doors and yelling down the hallways til 3 am

They didn’t seem to have adjoining room but we were able to get a side by side which was good for us Bathrooms are really great with jetted soaker tub Good size balcony Great pool and workout room Food at the restaurant is good Parking can get tight but we always found a spot Not sure that would be true in the height of the season It’s not on the boardwalk but it’s about a 5 minute drive there Walkable otherwise to other restaurants 2 blocks from the convention center

I had such a great time staying here! The two ladies at the front desk we’re super kind and helpful! The hotel was clean, the pool was clean, and the brother’s bistro restaurant attached to the hotel has EXCELLENT food (and service too!) Perfect place to stay It’s right on the beach and has fun attractions surrounding it! Also, get a cup of coffee from the lobby

It is SO GOOD

Dorothy Umsted

We stayed at this Ocean Front Hotel while we were there It sits right on the board walk at 11th street The location was perfect for us

We love to walk, plus see all the shops and food places The hotel was very clean The size of room was large, so you had plenty of room to move around 2 queens and a couch that contains a full bed The bath room is on small size but was redone for this season We were on 4th floor and one day the elevators were down for most of the day, which required us to use the stairs Not to bad for us, but those on the upper floors had a more difficult time while trying to carry cooler and beach chairs The service was good, they have a large pizza restaurant and bar on sit I would go back again The sun rise each morning is beautiful

We had breakfast Captains Table Unfortunately I was very underwhelmed the service of the kitchen staff My poached egg was boiled and the eggs over medium were fried hard

I understand there are still some employment difficulties; hiring/training and skilled team membersThe ocean view was nice and enjoyable for our quick 2-day getawayThe walls are paper thin and sound travelsOverall the trip was still a success Perfect location Right off the boardwalk and everything is walkable and accessible

Audrey Morris

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for several days last week Danielle Costello, the guest services rep who checked us in, was EXCELLENT Danielle is friendly, polite, smart, personable, quick to accommodate our needs

Also her manager Carissa was fantastic, readily assisting our request to upgrade We were impressed with how the hotel staff maintained high cleanliness standards which we observed throughout our entire stay Would highly recommend this hotel

Paul Vetrano

Short staffed

very underwhelmed I’m a loyal Marriott customer and always prefer to stay at one of these properties for business and pleasureThis place was lacking so much I was hoping that it would be great since it was our first vacation as a family in a couple of years However it was definitely not the caseA couple of bright spotsThe front desk folks were niceTerry, Danielle and Christian As a matter of fact, Christian went way beyond his call of duty to accommodate us He had no support and was on his own for the evening shift Pretty unfair to leave a great professional without any helpThe other bright spot was the location It was right on the boardwalk and accessible to everythingThe rooms were basic, the front desk was stretched and not accessible at times, the gym was horribleliterally the bare minimum in regards to equipment, the Ice maker was out on our floor for the last two days of our vacationthis place needed a lot more loveit really was lacking in so many waysI would definitely not recommend it and actually discourage anyone from spending their hard earned money for a sub-par lodging experienceThis stay was a huge disappointment Marriott Bonvoy pay attention to this review and make the appropriate investment in this property It is staining your great reputation

There are positives to this placeIt is super clean, the housekeeping staff are top class bestThe design of this hotel is not intended for the traveler to remember the view

The photo with the truck shows our view The other outside photo shows the beautiful view we should have enjoyed, because we were in the best of the rooms that is complete with a wonderful relaxing hot tub and a nice small balcony If the balcony view would have been the other outdoor photo I would have given a better ratingThe amazing king size bed was the most comfortable bed possible, wow, loved it !BUT , the room’s decor was stark, uninviting, and had the ugliest bittersweet color chair, which is shown in the photo1 ugly chair besides the next ugliest chair that served as a desk ? chairThe small TV was not placed to enjoy while in bed To be fair, this review is to alert those that enjoy ultra comfort in a fine welcoming environmentI will say, if you are just looking for a place to sleep while traveling, this place is perfect for you because that bed is like sleeping on a cloudI give the staff 5 gold stars, but the hotel itselfnothing extraordinary, it’s a minimalist environment Oh, no complimentary breakfast eitherOur room was offered at a great off season discount, which overall, was a nice deal Due to new hotels in construction around this hotel, I suggest a make over and while at it, give those wonderful housekeepers a raise, because this place was cleaned to perfection

Welcoming staff who were very helpful with any question we had Our room was good – laid out well, lots of outlets for charging electronics The in-room coffee, refrigerator and microwave were nice We liked the balcony, but it was on the side of the hotel next to The Jetty, a bar with live music, and parking lot traffic If you want peace and quiet, ask for the rooms on the other side of the hotel

Nice hotel in a good location Views by the water are great but room with a balcony is only worth it if you get a room with a bayfront view Rooms are clean and bed is comfortable

Service was decent but e-check in was not as smooth as it could be The entire pool area is very small and could do with a renovation- also the ladder was creaky and the water greener than you would expect Workout room had all the basics Would be nice if breakfast was included considering the price of the stay Very nice to walk along the dock and there is an area for sitting by the water

We went for a short family getaway at the tail end of off peak season, which was a great idea to avoid the larger crowds The check in process was smooth and quick Being right on the boardwalk was fantastic! We didn’t have to use our car once on the trip

Room was large, clean and views were excellent, especially for the price I wish they there were queen beds instead of doubles, however There was plenty of room for them The hotel is a bit older so we could hear the neighbors and I’m sure they could hear our little one In addition, the room we stayed in could be updated Overall, we were happy with our stay

The view was wonderful Check in and check out was quick and friendly The room could have been cleaner

The table and night stand were not cleaned after the prior visitors it was obvious The housekeeping personel were seen sitting in an empty room talking for a good amount if time The deadbolt did not work on the door and the heat only warmed the room when put up on 80 degrees Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good and very reasonably priced by getting the early bird special Glad I only stayed there one night

The hotel is due fly on the beach Views from room were amazing The room was dated and carpet older n had stains

The furniture didn’t match The housekeeping staff were very accommodating with needs for extra towels etc The Lobby area dated n dirty surrounding the hotel The restaurant had good food, but was fairly pricey for off season There were dying flowers on the tables in vases The outside area wasn’t open n potted plants were dead The pool wasn’t open The rooms were pricey for off season as wellThe front desk staff in the day were helpful and pleasant The night manager brushed off a complaint I had regarding the bar area I was told the hotel doesn’t manage the bar the pizza shop does I inquired at pizza shop and no manager was on duty at night only younger workersI understand the hotel was apparently doing renovations, but cleanliness should continue to be maintained in the process

My stay was a pretty good experience overall My room was ready by 2pm and they were fairly nice It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach

My only complaint is that the pool is rather small It isn’t meant for more than 1-2 families/groups I had a group of 7 and most people who walked in preferred to leave than stay When we tried to use the pool another time, there were two sets Of couples with their single child each and we felt like it would’ve been too much to join them The breakfast provided was great! They had a wide variety of options and everyone in my group had something to their liking

Very clean nice staff and well designed Nice view the side of the bay very quiet and close to lots of stores and restaurants Parking was tight at night

No room food service at all and room service is request only due to Covid Free breakfast in the morning small selection but fulfilling Definitely a solid 3 star hotel We usually stay in 4-5 star hotels I definitely missed those accommodations however for a quick get away this hotel was sufficient

Ilissa Martinez

The room was clean, check in was simple and hassle free and they offer free breakfast Dunkin’ Donuts is also right next door if you choose not to have their breakfast I booked through a third party site which stated parking was free and I was informed otherwise at the desk

They graciously waived the parking fees and accommodated late check out at a minimal fee of $25I would stay here again, especially since they allow pets

This place was phenomenal!!! We stayed for 4 days and were greatly surprised Dustin was amazing and accommodating He could not have been more polite, professional, and helpful

We came a day early and with Cruisin’ in town it was tricky for our stay He was able to coordinate our reservation and day early arrival with the least amount of stress to us Dominique was very helpful too My husband and I visit Ocean City often and have stayed at many hotels, but this experience will make us choose this facility again! Thank you allwe applaud you!

Amazing service! Very comfy beds Great location Staff was extremely nice and great to work with

Rooms were SPOTLESSLY CLEAN AND had extra towels and pillows and blankets! Close to the boardwalk and dining restaurants Pool was warm and hot tub was terrific! Snack bar had a variety of drinks and snacks for the kids The pricing was extremely affordable! Had stayed at another hotel the night before and it was twice the price and dirty with hard beds Would definitely recommend!

We booked 3 nights Check in was nice, staff was friendly However, traveling with a toddler still during a pandemic we anticipate that the hotel will be clean

Quickly we changed and went to the outdoor pool It was chilly and dirty so we went indoors The indoor pool was also disgusting There were cigarette butts in the plant and the blinds were old and broken When I got out of the hot tub, I was covered in blue slime I immediately called Hilton honors and asked to be switched to a different hotel The room was masked with an air freshener and it smelt like a public restroom The toilet hadn’t been cleaned and the shower faucet had mold around it I do not recommend

Four stars Not because it’s a four star hotel, but because of the experience Location is good

Across the street from the boardwalk (avoiding all the noise) but still conveniently close Beds were comfortable enough Our balcony had a partial ocean view Staff very friendly and accommodating Price was great A 7-Eleven on the block for some necessities WiFi was faster than in many corporate hotels I’ve stayed at Only real problem was crossing the street to get to the beach You can’t just cross by the hotel as there is a constant flow of traffic So you have to get to the crosswalk at the corner and cross one street at a time In spite of that, I would definitely stay here again

This was our 5th time staying at this hotel We normally have had a great stayGood:Rooms were nice and roomy

Showers and bathrooms clean Upon arrival the front staff was very friendlyGood location and pet friendlyEasy beach access when it’s openBad:The elevator floors are dirty from dogs or people stepping in the dog waste and tracking in the elevatorWaffle batter was poor, almost like water day 2 and 3 Juice machine did not work first day Fruit was old and discoloration had set in Tables were not cleaned and could not find a kitchen staffNo maid service while we were at the hotelOverall:Normally this is a very nice property and always had good stay Just could have been due to the early spring and weather that contributed to these issues Worth a try

My husband and I went to Ocean City MD for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary We decided to stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites because we wanted to take our fur baby We paid more than $300 for one night which we did not care much but we were so disappointed with our stay

The only good thing was that our dog could stay with us The room’s floor was so dirty you can tell it has not been cleaned in a while It was not dusted, the lamps had so much dust But what was the worst part was the horrible smell in the bathroom It smelled like wet towels but 10x worst I checked the towels in the bathroom they did not smell The horrible smelled came from the shower curtain which was cloth material and there was not a plastic curtain, it was just the cloth one It is beyond me that housekeeping cannot change the shower curtain as it is nearly impossible to ignore the horrible smell as soon as you enter the bathroom I was going to say something but my husband said we are here just for one night, do not say anything But I am leaving this review maybe someone from the hotel will read it for the housekeeping to do a better job The steam iron in the room had marks showing people obviously burned clothes, I called the front desk to bring another one, they sent someone but the steam iron was worst or the same than the one in the room It was a bad experience overall, we will not be returning anytime soon

We visit this location for a wedding this past Friday and loved it The food was great, the servers were amazing, and the view was breath taking One of the best parts of the evening for my fiance and me was chatting with a bar tender named Mark

He was very socialable and made the best drinks! He even went out of the way to make us a special drink we had never heard of Best drinks ever I hope to make it for us, as he gave step by step instructions to make it So if you are ever hear and want to try a great drink, Mark is your guy Thanks for a wonderful even Four Seasons!

I was married at the Four Seasons at Baltimore in September 2012 I continued to frequent the hotel 1 to 3 times a year, spending thousands of dollars each visit I have spent over $100,000 dollars at this hotel since 2012

On August 13, 2022 I did damage their “$4,000” TV I was told that I should pay to replace the TV We settled on $60000 dollars, after significant negotiations I can’t shake the sadness I feel with the result It feels very unfair I realize may have damaged the TV but I also know how much value Ive brought this company year over year I’m sad because it will be hard for me to come back to any Four Seasons hotel that puts profit above relationships I am fairly young in my vacation life with at least 40 years left of amazing opportunity That said, sadly it will not include the Four Seasons

As expected, the hotel room (Lighthouse Suite 1511), the location, the concierge, spa, in-room & valet services were top notch The online booking process as well as navigating the app for quick chats with concierge (Thanks Michael for the flowers delivery & birthday cake!) were key to the experience which was to celebrate my partner’s birthday All of the staff including Damien were friendly & helpful, plus Moses was able to direct me to a barbershop app for a much needed haircut

Also, I’d like to thank the spa manager who mitigated a slight moment of displeasure when we were unable to take full benefit of all the spa services after a VIP couples appointment He assured us of access for the remainder of our stay, provided birthday champagne & truffle chocolates as well as entertainment ideas during our stay I also want to add a special mention of Ryan and Jasmine who performed our massages – absolutely outstanding, relaxing experience for us both Our room was impeccably cleaned, had great flow & views (bonus in earshot of concerts below), as well as comfortable bedding Lastly, we patronized both the Azumi & Bygone restaurants which also did not disappoint Dinner at Azumi was fabulous & the brunch buffet on Sunday at Bygone was an equally delicious feast & the perfect end to a thoroughly enjoyable getaway
