Stayed here 2 nights for personal vacation because my husband was working nearby and our house is farther outFirst of all, the front desk staff were amazing from start to finish Got checked in early and got a room close to the lobby

Rooms are smaller in comparison to other hotels, but it was clean and had everything we needed for a family of 3 Room and bathroom were very clean Had a mini fridge and table to pull out to eat onPool and hot tub were also clean so we enjoyed our time out there tooRate was also very reasonableA lot of places to eat and shopping nearby

James Gauze

The room had a very distinctive nasty smell that both me and my wife to not like The room was not cleaned very well, but enough giving excuse to the pandemic All hotels and motels need to come back to normal operations as long as the personel is there to make that happen

Will not being staying here again unless it is the last hotel open

Kevin Hogan

The only nice thing about this hotel is the lobby The rooms are terrible here is why- lights flicker when you turn them on half the lights do not work

– AC unit sounds like it is going to take off and will wake you up all night- Outside door does not seal so you will hear planes all night- pillow feel like Walmart stuffingIn general it is overpriced for what it is, I am shocked it has good reviews

This is an amazingly beautiful place with so many opportunities to take beautiful pictures When you first walk up to the front desk to check in, you have so many different opportunities to take great shots The front desk people were so nice and helpful

The room itself was amazing and cozy All the amenities were great and the room we stayed in had a beautiful patio and right I’m front of the slide area that is right next to the poolnwhicjade it perfect for my kids The water was a little warm but expected for the HOT Arizona weather! Next time we stay we are definitely eating there! The only thing I was a little disappointed in was my 5 yr old grandson as for a cup of water from a man that was cleaning up the bar area(bartender maybe) and he told him no I was a little thrown off by that but other than that our stay was amazing The pool area is awesome and the poolside food was awesome and very tasty!

Just got here yesterday and I don’t think I want to leave Ever 😊 the hotel looks like a private mansion It’s sits up high and the views are amazing

Our room is in the newest building and it’s private, clean, spacious and has a gorgeous glass shower with really good products provided I feel like I am in tropical paradise with the waterfall outside room and the greenery I sat out there this morning enjoying the quiet and the birds I highly recommend this hotel!!

AT Burgess

I’ve stayed here a few times before over the years, but this time wasn’t the most pleasant experience Seems as though the service and up keep of the resort had been taken down a few notches Our room wasn’t cleaned very well

Champagne wrapper and cork was still on the floor and hair was on the bathroom floor The toilet was running when we got in the room The pool experience Food wrappers, empty cups and cans everywhere There should be trash check more often We went to the bar and worker Dan who had a dirty shirt on with his name tag on UPSIDE DOWN told us he was out of large ups cups to make our drinks, but offered to make us drinks with smaller cups Worker Dan then saw a cup of water and asked if he poured the water out of this cup, he could make one of us a drink We declined and ordered beer and two patron tequila shots instead We paid for the drinks and found a spot to sit down We tasted the Patron tequila shots and could tell the Patron was deluded with water YUCK! Worker Dan needs to clean up his appearance and service attitude or get demoted where he is not in front of people serving them There are two sides of the pool area, not when you walk through the water under the bridge to get to the other side, it smells like sewer There was a 2-3 year old kid running around and swimming naked If the pool workers made more rounds they would have noticed that and said something to the parents We also saw someone snorting something in their car before leaving for dinner The parking lot is scary at night

Great experience! The hotel staff was amazing and they were very welcoming when I arrived! They provide you with warm packages of cookies upon check-in and there’s a drink fridge with complimentary bottled water! They provide a check-out time of 12 PM, which is amazing and a free shuttle to anywhere within a 5 mile radius! They also have a lot of restaurants in the area, alongside a 24 hour Circle K and BMO (Bank of Montreal), which was convenient for me as a Canadian! 4 minute walk to Starbucks (photos were of my view during my walk there)The rooms were great and there’s a courtyard for socializing as well!I would definitely stay here again whenever I go back to Arizona

Jeremy Miller

Sincerely the worst Doubletree I have stayed at Off the bat, I want to say I agree with others, the staff was very friendly They could have been more forthcoming with information, but at least they were nice

The room? Outdated, shower head lose, slow drain in both the shower and sink, and the toilet ranThey also failed to tell us that they were only doing housekeeping service upon request, so when we finally called after 4 nights with no service, we had a pile of garbage and a pile of towelsOne working guest ice machine on the entire propertyOn top of all of it, the pool was “under construction” We saw no work done on it the entire week we were there Just a pool and hot tub full of water, jets running, taunting us Glad we paid extra for the pool viewI feel like we would have had a better experience at the Motel6 down the road for probably half the priceWould absolutely not recommend staying here unless there is a remodel

Ashley DiCarlo

We really enjoyed this hotel during our stay It was a perfect location for us from the airportThe pool was amazing

We spent so much time outside swimming There were plenty of chairs They had a really nice little chill spot between the hotel lobby and the pool I loved sitting here just hanging outVery well lit at night and I felt safe in this location You have to go outside to get to your room and the hotel wraps around the pool in the center I enjoyed the layout Lots of palm trees!

Very helpful and friendly employees!!! I was sent here with an airline voucher after a late night canceled flight Front desk staff couldn’t be more helpful and I was surprised to see the same person the next morning who was able to help me with a later checkout to match my new flight I was able to enjoy the breakfast buffet, fitness center and pool

Everything was very clean and the employees/ housekeeping were working hard Large rooms and bathrooms, nice tv’s I’d definitely choose to stay here next timeOnly a 4stars because the room had tiny maintenance issues and was a little noisy next to the street

Todd Reitan

Very nice and clean room Very friendly staff If you are visiting ASU or going to an ASU Football game then this is the place to stay

Only bad thing about the place is the water pressure There is none When you try to take a shower hardly any comes out and what little does come out doesn’t drain so you end up in ankle high soapy water by the end of your shower Other than that it’s great Oh, and visit the rooftop bar Very nice view for dinner and drinks

Two nights at Aloft Tempe were extremely pleasant I like this chain because of the quality of their bedding, comfortable beds & pillows, room set up with sliding bathroom doors instead of slamming ones Two people can actually share the sink counter

This one has a nice pool that was popular with the guests An immaculate exercise room, and generous lawn-covered doggie yard The lounge in the lobby is inviting and seats are clean and comfortable I need to stress clean Our room looked clean, smelled clean not chemical, and surfaces were spotless The staff is really trying to maintain quality here Shout-out to the front desk for their patience with our doggyMini-fridge & coffee maker in room There is a 24 hour pay-as-you-go snack nook, but coffee, tea, orange-infused ice water all free

amber corcuera

Excellent customer service always starts guests on the path of happiness The hotel was trendy, bright, clean! Zero complaints Staff is A+

We are hotel snobs and typically won’t go out of our comfort zone regarding hotel chains I was surprised to see this was a Marriott We may give Marriott more of a chance in the future Nice job

I loved this hotel Firstly, GREAT in room coffee by Nespresso! I was able to keep my room cool Shower had a hand held shower head in addition to the normal one

Gym was nice, although missing an elliptical machine Also loved the orange flair and the location Staff was really friendly Only complaints were you’re stuck with valet parking, and the pillows were too highI’m gonna be looking for this type of Hilton hotel whenever possible!

Wendy West

I really enjoy the Canopy Hilton Downtown Tempe The rooms are nice I go to visit my daughter at college and she loves the break from her dorm room

Staff is friendly and makes you feel very welcome The rooftop was very enjoyable to have a glass of wine and take in the view The gym was not busy and has the equipment necessary for a descent workout My only complaint was the noise on the street Apparently there was a club close to our room which sounded like someone plying music in the room next to us Unfortunately we were in the last room on that floor so there was no room next to us It was noise from the street Otherwise it was an excellent place to stay Other than not being able to sleep due to street noise , I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Julia Amburgey

I’m so impressed and in love with this place! We stopped in after a long trip driving across country for military orders, and this is the first hotel I felt no anxiety at We were traveling with 3 cats, which has been such a hard thing to do at hotels, this time they were so kind and accommodating Food was wonderful, staff was amazing, we loved the cocktails, the room was beautiful, and they accepted our pets as if it was no inconvenience

I’d definitely come back here and can’t recommend this place enough

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a resort This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in the area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t regret itAll the staff were eager to help to provide a great experience The food was incredible with flavor and mouth watering The Carrot cake was probably one of the best I’ve ever ateThe session rooms are nice with speakers all across the ceiling They provided actual office chairs that swiveled, rolled and raised with armrests a nicer touch of comfort that most places don’t use WiFi was freeWould recommend having your smaller business meetings here anytime

I was here with my husband while he attended a three day conference We came a couple of days early to enjoy the area The hotel is beautiful with a very friendly and efficient staff, eager to help

The pool was wonderful and had many places for shade The location was great, within walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants The challenges: their beds are soft and springy have have definitely seen a lot of wear and tear The internet in the room was horrible The only way we could get any bars on our phones or laptops was to go to the pool area The noise level at night was pretty bad Our room was on the second floor and faced the courtyard where the outdoor fireplace was located Other guests would party until early morning hours keeping us awake The hotel might want to consider warning of this at check in and give the option of a quieter room, which I’m not sure exists as the hotel is in the direct flight path of the airport Our balcony door did not close all the way when shut unless you used the slide bolt at the top Overall, not what I expect for the price we paid

This was absolutely a wonderful hotel stay Every staff member I encountered from the front desk to house keeping were polite and accommodating, especially Khalil The front desk was welcoming and knowledgeable of the surrounding area

The room was spacious and clean There was a great view of the mountains and Tempe Lake The rooftop pool was well maintained and the morning views were beautiful Although, there are local places to eat and shop within walking distance, the hotel had special events with live music and entertainment in their restaurant and rooftop bar That was a really great touch! The overall experience was extremely nice and I’d stay again

Antwon Blakemore

This hotel was in a great location everything was within 15 minutes of driving Every employee we encountered was very nice and very professional from the chef, house keeping, the cleaning staff, the pool guys and everyone at the front desk Especially Kalil he above and beyond calling around to find a sports bar for me to watch the fight

I’m definitely staying here again

Alan Lam

What a beautiful brand new hotel! Loved the contemporary clean decor! The views from the roof top pool/bar were great! The room was spacious and super clean with nice contemporary decor Loved the wood flooring in the whole room We always dislike carpets used in most other hotels

Carpets will get dirty and they can’t be fully cleaned like tiles or wood Hate the feeling of walking barefooted on carpets that have been stepped on by thousands of other people shoes! I’d give the bathroom a 5-star rating as well We had a dinner at the restaurant Terra Although the portions were small, food quality and presentations were outstanding! Will definitely stay at the hotel again next time

Wanted to leave a line of disappointment, we just checked out of our stay at the Tempe locationMy daughter and I stayed and the Tucson location last year and had a great time, the hotel was clean, staff was friendly and quick to respond when we asked for extra things The pool and restaurant were amazing we loved it, so we wanted to check out the Tempe location to celebrate my sons 21st birthday

We booked two rooms, one King room for two nights and a two queen room for one nightThe location was great the rooms were clean and beds comfortable, however the staff was not helpful and grounds are not kept in clean order The entrance tothe hotel the floors are dirty The couches in the lobby are visibly dirty almost didn’t want to sit on them, the pool deck was dirty and chairs were pretty gross and smelled like dirty water Not sure what the policy is for non hotel guests to use pool but people who were not hotel guests came and used the pool Weird!!They had no pool towels, we had go to the front desk multiple times for towels When in our room we asked for extra bath towels after an hour no response so we called again We asked for an extra blanket after about 30 min called back to check and was told they didn’t have any The faucet in the two Queen room was not fastened correctly was looseDuring check in we were told each floor had an ice machine, floor 5 and 6 ice machines were not workingSuper disappointing will not stay at that location again

William Anderson

It’s just your basic cheap hotel Small rooms Tiny refrigerator

No microwave in the room They have one small microwave on (most) floors No laundry They only have towels and washcloths for one person and one basket sitting in the floor of the bathroom with an extra washcloth and bath towel that have months of dust on them No TV guide on screen that lists what’s on TV It just lists channels The electrical outlets BARELY hold a charger without it falling out of the outletThey have a lighted mirror, but it’s not plugged in and unusable The tiny closet by the entry door is always dirty on the top shelf The coat hangers are wood and very nice but if they swing on the cloths rod, then they bang on the wall (Poor design)The bar soap they provide doesn’t lather and is not much larger than a matchbook They have an ice bucket but no longer for it And the restaurant at the hotel has hours that change daily and their menu isn’t that great They do have a nice pool and Hot tub

Francis Mendoza

The stay was excellent Roommate and I were locked out of our apartment, couldn’t get help until morning Called the front desk who directed me to management very late at night; made an accommodation for us to check in

Stayed one night: great amenities, clean rooms, amazing customer service Check out process was also fast Customer service of both staff and management went above and beyond Highly recommend!

We stayed as a family for two nights and were thrilled with all aspects of our experience Rooms were super clean, beds were comfy, airport shuttle was prompt and easy to book, and the pool area was spacious, clean, and not overcrowded The best part of our stay by far, though, were the awesome staff

Everyone, from the shuttle driver to the maids to the restaurant servers, were super friendly and accommodating Special shout-out to Juan, the friendliest bartender ever We really appreciated him getting meals together for our jet-lagged kids even though the restaurant was still technically closed For the price, our stay was really outstanding Will definitely stay here again on our return trip

Jeffrey Rauen

The Good: Great layout and good central location make this a good choice I come back to often I love having a balcony overlooking the pool and fire pit The exercise room is adequate, and I’ve never felt it to be overcrowded

Also, the staff has been great for all my interactionsThe Bad: The interior of the hotel seems a bit dated Cleanliness is on par with what I’ve come to expect from the area, which isn’t terrible, but certainly isn’t high praise either

Patricia Alexander

Overall this restaurant was adequate The rooms were clean but outside of the rooms looked like it could use a remodel The restaurant inside the hotel had a small menu, but the street tacos were tasty, and the adult beverage I had was nice

I would give this hotel a solid three stars, but I was disappointed that it didn’t have public use of a washer and dryer They told me I could go to a hotel next door to do my laundry Who wants to do that? The hot tub was nice, though

The overall experience was fine considering I was only in the unit to sleep and use a bathroom The weekend was full of activities so hardly spent any time here I knocked Service down 1 star because I noticed the top of the refrigerator had a layer of dust

Not a heavy layer, but it looked like it hadn’t been wiped in a little while Not to be nitpicky about anything, but when they claim to have pride in ensuring a safe, clean, environment I would expect this to be noticed

Kristin Beltz

The area is ok The condo I stayed in needs to be updated The carpet was literally black from dirt

I walked around the condo in my barefoot for about an hour and my feet were black After that I wore shoes the whole time Of course, the resort wanted me to buy a condo there but the way my condo looked, I would highly recommend NOT staying here or buying there I tried calling the resort 9 times 2 weeks before I arrived and no one answered the phone I also emailed my questions and I never received a reply

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here The staff were great and there are some restaurants nearby, but most are a good 3-5 minute walk (For those interested, the electric scooters make pretty quick on the travel time and are a lot of fun

) Our room was clean and we really liked the decorThe bed was firm and our room included a fridge and microwave There are also ample outlets to charge a lot of devices One thing to be aware of, with this being a desert and water is a premium, the shower head was pretty low-pressureOverall, we would stay here again if the opportunity arises to travel to Tempe

Mitch Murphy

The staff is great The hotel Looks plain from outside, but when you enter it is very nice The only thing I can say that is somewhat negative, They need some light blocking curtains in the rooms on the east side of the hotel

It is so bright in the morning, no way to sleep in The place is nice and compared to others in the area, a great deal

Dale Houg

It was fine It was inexpensive during a busy time (spring training ) The room was smaller than we would have preferred, and we would have preferred a place for a second person to sit other than the bed

Also, the alarm was too difficult to set and operate I had unplugged the alarm and it lost the time and went off in the middle of the nightAlso the space around the bed was small and I hurt my shin There should be a soft covering on it in case someone bumps into it

They clean the rooms once every three days Did not tell us upon booking NOR check in I consider this fraud as I was expecting regular housekeeping

It’s why I stayed at hotel over a more affordable AirBnB The price was not discounted because of no housekeeping eitherWould not recommend

Our flight was delayed and we got vouchers from the airline to stay at this hotel We checked in on 13th June between 8-9pm The receptionist barely greeted us when we walked in and it didn’t get any better during the check in process

She barely had communication skills and lacked professionalism Also, according to our vouchers we had two rooms which she didn’t want to give to us and we had to point out to her over and over that the voucher clearly states two rooms After a while she did give it to us Overall not a very welcoming first experience On the other hand, the morning receptionist at about 6 am was top notch, professional, and super friendly She also ensured that our taxi arrived on time The rooms were ok and the beds comfortable However, shower soap was empty Not an ideal experience especially when finding out once already inside the shower The trash cans had no trash bags The mini refrigerator had old spoiled left over Chick Fil a food inside That’s disgusting and leaves the impression that rooms are not very well cleaned between guests On a positive note it was quiet and we had a restful sleep The laundry room was also very convenient and detergent was connected to washer No need to bring one’s own or buy detergent Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a quick overnight stay but for an extended stay, I would look elsewhere

Perfect location in DT Tempe and super nice folks upon check in I stayed a week Rooms are clean and well appointed

I had a king room, was pretty comfortable The ’05 Era flat screen needs a refresh The lobby café is only open some of the time Luckily there’s a Starbucks a block away (and just about everything else) A couple days in I learned housekeeping is only “every third day”, however, they still charge regular rates 🙂

I got hoaxed This was a very clean hotel, I agree with other reviewersHowever, doesn’t meet food and hospitality standards

Red or black napkins at brunch help keep the lint away I was only offered a white rolled napkin No valet service, no shuttles or vans, limited towels for pool experience, and lamp shade in my room had smoke stains A community microwave in the lobby was available The air temperature from the pool to deck is supposed to be less than a 20 degree difference in order to prevent the flu and cold virus from coming into the hotel but it felt like a greater variance than that Also, I think this is a salt water pool for those who have sensitive skin allergies it is definitely not chlorinatedAdditionally, the shower water smelled like it was unfiltered sewer water I always bring my own toiletry options just in case of emergencies like theseI did notice a lot of college dorm people using the hotel the weekend I was there, not sure what the normal flow is for this property but noise level was acceptable and the pool lounge chairs were really cleanTo other Marriott members using the app to book, this specific hotel property doesn’t offer double points for the stay

Loved this hotel! We were able to check in last minute and they accommodated us Ronnie at the front desk went above and beyond to give us the best customer service The vibe was modern and sleek and the rooftop gym and pool were great! The room was clean and the water pressure was amazing

My only complaint is that there wasn’t a microwave in the room so we had to eat cold leftovers because we didn’t want to have to go to the lobby to heat food up

Ray “Kingston” Najera

The vibe is totally business class I felt that it was swanky walking through the lobby but the room was modern and minimalist I guess what may have been missing something on the walls? The shower on the other hand was very nice

I enjoyed the rain like shower The place is immaculate and the housekeeping staff is on top of their job no doubt Maybe I’ve become used to the boutique hotels because although clean and modern it felt a little plain But if that’s your thing you’ll love this place Oh one thing before I forget the parking structure is almost 5 minutes away So if you are not ready to valet be ready to walk And if you think gas is expensive 20oz Dr pepper and Gatorade $9 🤨

The resort was wonderful Great location, easy to get to, lots of fun activities, Oasis Water Park was a blast and included in the room rate Able to continue to enjoy the water park the day we left

Rooms were beautifully appointed and super comfortable Enjoyed a fun birthday celebration at Rustler’s Roost at the resort with stunning sunset views Only down side was check in on Saturday Long lines and wait times Could you a mobile check in option Will definitely be going back!

We moved to this resort from our original hotel at 11 pm and the front desk representative Monique that checked us in was awesome She was so kind, helpful, and humorous She made our stay even better with her understanding and welcoming attitude

The rooms were lovely too They were well equipped with everything you would need They were clean and the bed was very comfortable If we ever go back to Phoenix we will most definitely put this resort at the top of our short list

Sam Godzwa

Very nice resort The rooms are well kept and the views are great I’m not a golfer, but the golf course provided a lot of these interesting views

The highlight of the resort is the waterpark, with pool basketball and volleyball, a wave pool, a lazy river, and three massive water slides I personally went with for a private conference where certain meals were catered by the resort, and these were all delicious The mid-summer price is unbeatable, and is worth dealing with the heatNow for some extremely nit picky things that I didn’t like The gym closes at 8pm I like to workout late, so it’d be nice if it was open for 24 hours a day I stayed in the mountainside suites building, which is a bit of a walk from everything This could be annoying, but it was really easy to close my Apple Watch rings, so that was a bonus Finally, the restaurants in the resort are very expensive, but there are a few good places to eat within walking distance of the resort, so this didn’t bother me too much

Room was spacious and comfortable Enjoyed coffee every morning in the rocking chairs right outside my door overlooking the pool Location was perfect for everything

Walking distance to many of the places we wanted to go to Lovely breakfast served every morning Gracious and friendly StaffI would stay here again

Philemon Spencer

We had a good stay here, though it turned out to be a busy weekend due to hockey tournaments The hotel is a slightly older building with a lot of updates You’ll notice things like lower ceiling heights and fluorescent light fixtures

However the stay was good overall The continental breakfast had a great selection, though many items continue to be prepackaged since Covid Definitely looking for a return of regular solid dishes, fresh hot waffles, fresh fruit salad, and so on served for the breakfast

Matt

This place was great I had to work some the morning after we checked in and it was really early and the room had a second smaller room with a pull out couch and a desk to work at This allowed me to work in the other room and have some light without disturbing my wife

Room had a microwave too so that was helpful Honestly this was nicer than the resort we ended up staying at in town after this night I wish we stayed at the Hyatt the whole time

We enjoy staying at Hyatt Hotels Typically nice and clean This location isn’t the most clean

3 staff up front at all times very friendly, however they were socializing with each other each time we passed the front desk Beds were awesome and comfortable Hot water was endless Excellent breakfast Hopefully a few hours of cleaning and it will be 5 star

Erin Lovinus

Flight cancelled so stayed with Hyatt 10% off for military! Free comfy airport shuttle, called to ensure it’s running Room and hotel itself were quiet

HUGE king room and could make it very cold Super comfy bed Be advised you’ll hear constant airplanes starting around 5:30am and there’s a strip of highway that cars and motorcycles love to speed down at all hours Hotel provides earplugs for these reasons! Overall a nice experience after an unexpected flight cancellation

Adam Bliven

Hotel is a little dated Beds were comfortable, room cleaning was non existent (COVID Excuse) What really got a low star rating was the fact that they charged us twice for the rooms

It’s been almost a week and we are still waiting to get the excess funds returned, , , a week later and the refunded the excess charges Good follow through with their promises

Beautiful building, nice location, and friendly staff, but this hotel is seriously lacking There are certain amenities that are expected in any hotel, even down to the humble Motel 6 Google states that this is a 4-star hotel, yet they have no luggage carts, no room service, and not even a pen or pad of paper in the rooms

TVs have limited channels and no way of plugging in your own streaming devices Room had some damaged tiles and a bathroom that could not lock as well A comfortable bed is not worth the price at this hotel

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a stay This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you decide to stay here you won’t be disappointedJake B at the front desk was awesome way above and beyond expectations! Made more than happy and comfortable to stay here! I’ve worked and stayed at all kinds of hotels for decades and this was man provided the best service I’ve ever had! thanks for giving great service during bad times!

Corey Burke

I have stayed here a number of time over the past 5 years It is an ok hotel but the service this time was very poor (bar staff was fantastic) I stayed 3 days and on the second day I requested to have my room cleaned and was told no that they would not

This was requested at 7 am and was told they could fit it inI am a titanium status member and stay over 100 nights per year at Marriott chain hotels I have never had a hotel that told me they would clean my roomThey only put enough towels for two days At $200/night I expect much better
