The hotel is just beautiful! We are a active duty family that is originally from the area and had the unfortunate event of a family member passing and had to pick a hotel last minute at random and boy are we glad we picked this one! I wish we could have stayed more than a night but with everything going on we couldn’t The hotel staff are very kind and welcoming The hotel it self is very clean, I have a 1 year old that loves to roam around and I felt very comfortable letting him do so

We didn’t have to worry about him getting into anything or even getting dirty roaming around on the floor in the hotel The breakfast was a great selection and was very good I would gladly come stay again when coming home to visit family! Would recommend 1000%!!

Paper thin walls you can hear the people above your room walking and talking and screaming at one anotherEven dropping a coin sounds so loud – you can hear it from the floor above…

Upon inspection of the flooring, it appears quite unusual because it’s not carpeting nor is it bare floors – but actually it’s just some type of linoleum tiles (something I’ve never seen before in a hotel) that definitely are not noise absorbent – just the reverseNot enough electrical outlets by bed; the one there monopolized by the light fixtureThe parking lot is not very well lit Too dark for my likingThey have three casino machines in the lobby which is strange for a hotel in this location- it’s not like we’re in Vegas! The so-called breakfast was literally one of the worst I’ve ever seen and I was not able to find anything to eat They had just a machine with some juices, coffee (with dry packets of coffee creamer), and some bulk cereal – definitely did not look appealing in anyway Don’t come here for the breakfastFinally the room was not clean take note of my photosI would give this 0 to 1 star for the hotel, but I increased it by one star because the front desk staff was at least very nice

Love this place! A must visit if you have never been If you come you will probably be back! Big old well maintained hotel Lots of history

Much attention to detail seems to be a theme! The water is spring fed They still use keys, it’s like walking into days gone by Please don’t change a thing! Food is always good and reasonably priced Eating on the veranda with it’s amazing views just tops off our stay! It’s probably a great place to work , the staff seems pretty happy Good luck for another 100+ years

I booked a king room with a king bed and when I got there I had a room with 2 double beds when I asked what happened to what I booked I was told that the room isn’t clean so they moved me without saying anything or informing me of the change Also the “continental breakfast” was cereal and bread Not much of a breakfast in my opinion

First and last time there Only nice thing was the women at the front desk

Vicki R

Everything is beautiful and clean They have a very nice little “store” of items to buy so you don’t have to get to the store I’m sure I wasn’t supposed to have this suite, but they couldn’t get my key cards programmed for my original room so they upgraded me

The only thing I wish could be different is if I didn’t have to check out and drive another hour away tomorrow I’m gonna miss this room!

not even close to what that hotel needs to filthy air conditioning vents are just loaded with dust had a mildew and a moldy smell in the rooms when I call down to the front desk and was telling them about it I was like look well sir we just changed the carpet on the 4th floor and I might want them go smell the floor and smell it in there and they didn’t want to do anything no service ask me if they could change rooms but other working with me had the same problemsince moving into 406 my throat was scratchy and so was my co workersi ask if they would mind cleaning the filters, wouldn’t do that your sinks back up your commode is slow on flushing when I talked to someone at the front desk about this problem she just told me I would probably better finding a new hotel

So I did but corporate needs to know how that particular comfort inn needs to looking after badly

Summary: Went there for the Hilton name, and was disappointed – in fact, it’s a stain upon Hilton’s name and reputation Will not be returningIssues:- BEDBUGS (a full on infestation that likely spans multiple floors)- No functional kettle (and the coffee machine and related items are in the bathroom – just why?)- No complementary water bottles- Overpriced and repulsive “snack shop”- AC sounds like the demon love child of a jet engine and horror movieThe entire fourth floor is infected with bedbugs, and not to mention, it feels much dirtier than I would expect for the hefty price tag

My stay was discounted by 50% for the inconvenience, which is appreciated, but is nothing compared to the monumental amount of money I’d have to spend if I got a bedbug infestation in my own homeDespite the staff being quite kind, there is no room service or food delivery (to the room), even for something as basic as toothpaste, you have to go down and pick it up yourself The food in the “sweet shop” is a vertices and some of the actual meals (Lean Cuisine and cup Mac and Cheese) are nothing short of repulsive and not even Jesus Christ himself knows how long they’ve been sitting there The breakfast was acceptableMoving on to the rooms, they of course had the aforementioned bedbug infestation, but the bathrooms were decent However, there was no kettle, only a hot water boiler/coffee machine that ONLY with tis for coffee, not even for the Mac and cheese sold in the store – there is no way to turn it off and you literally have to pull the plug if you want to make it stop, by which point the water will have already spilled everywhere In addition, there was no complementary water bottle refill or anything, which is admittedly a minor inconvenience The AC has no speed controls and can only be controlled via the thermostat, this is fine, but the issue is that without the AC, the room is eerily quiet, but the AC sounds like a jet engine and a horror movie soundtrack had a demon love child – they’ve somehow managed to make it extravagantly loud while having a high pitched horror movie sounds that makes it very creepy)In conclusion, I went there for the Hilton name and the prestige that comes with it but was sorely disappointed and will not be returning as a customer

Super exceptional customer service I am a Marriott Platinum member for 2 years and have NEVER received this kind of customer care and assistance at Marriott I came here due to the insufficient customer service at a Fairfield in that I was slated for a 2 night visit

The Marriott was unaccomadating and rude I cancelled and immediately sought out a Hilton property Olivia set us up with my request of 2 queen beds and 1 roll away bed She hD to place us in a handicapped room to accomplish this because the room has a larger foot print I must say that the service, the quality of the food and free breakfast, the cleanliness of the indoor pool and entire facility is far superior to whT I have been tolerating at Marriott Bonvoy locations I will now take all of my business to Hilton from now on I am good for 75- 80 stays a year and prefer to give that business to people who appreciate it Thank you Olivia, you will always be remembered by my family and myself

I stopped here on my way to Ohio, and to some it may have been out of the way, but I am glad that I stayed at this hotel The room was very clean, as was the hotel as a whole The restaurant/bar area was nice

It has a small menu, but the items on the menu gave sufficient choices for dinner I had the fish and chips, and the fish was good and the fries were crispy If I find myself needing the find lodging in this area, I will book here again

Jon J

What a great hotel The staff is super friendly The rooms were very clean

The food and drinks are reasonably priced and tasty at the restaurant The pool is heated and the kids loved it I wi be back They have a comedy show once a month as well The location is very convenient for local shopping and dining and it’s not far to hiking in the mountains or Ohiopyle

Leah Nowicki

Super clean, open floor plan in the main entrance, hip vibe with plenty of common places to hang outPros: The room was a good/common size, tastefully decorated, and super clean TV swivels to any direction, two chairs in the room, and pretty good black out shades

Had two queens beds and if you wanted to bring a single air mattress or play pen, you could move some furniture and have room for it Close to lots of restaurants Breakfast buffet is very affordable, $7 and had something for everyoneYou will not find a $7 buffet anywhere elseCons: Employee at the desk seemed annoyed and not welcoming at all When I later came back down to purchase some snacks, she seemed annoyed again, like I was taking her away from something because I wanted to pay for my pop corn I wish the shower door could open on the other side because they way they have it set up, you get blasted with hot or cold water when you turn it on On the morning of checkout, the housekeepers came to our door 4 times to see if we were ready to check out Um, excuse me,I get to stay until checkout time if I want They started knocking three hours before check out and even opened our door! They knocked and one second later they opened the door So unprofessional and intrusive The mattress tapered off on the sides, like people frequently sit on the side of the bed and it starts to depress on the sides, and I felt like I was falling off the bed all night The website , and the hold message if you call, raves about the Keurig coffee machines but they barely give you coffee to use in it There was one regular, one decaf, and one hot tea capsule But I drink regular and so does my husband So we had to choose who got the regular and who suffered with decaf We went downstairs to find coffee, like they have at the Hampton Inn, and there was none to be found, not even for purchase So disappointing We ended up going to a gas station for coffee And, the coffee that was in the room was terribleWarnings: Nothing to warn aboutTakeaway: Decent value for the money but prefer a Hampton Inn but also better then a Days Inn or Holliday Inn A smile from the staff and a good cup of coffee would have made this stay much better

Stopped here while cycling the GAP trail with a friend and we had a wonderful stay The breakfast is positively extraordinary and worth the price of admission alone They have a budget room with two beds that is not part of the main house–it faces the main street

It was quiet enough and perfect for us as we just wanted a place to stay and, judging from the beautiful interior of the commons area, I think the rooms in the main house are pretty fancy (more expensive?) There are lots of good places within walking distance to eat, drink and be merry There was a bit of a cultural/regional mismatch between us and the husband/male owner (he talked a lot about how much he hated where we were from), but don’t be put off by his personality if you speak with him; this is a fantastic spot

We recently stayed here for the first time but it won’t be our last! There simply aren’t words to describe how perfect everything was Our room was meticulously clean and had such welcoming touches as a handwritten note and homemade cookies Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious

But the biggest surprise to us was that when we came back to the Inne following dinner in town, the hosts had already started a blazing fire in the firepit They had remembered us asking if it would be alright for us to have a fire that evening, and without ever saying a word, they simply started the fire for us We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Tiffany Schulz

We called on a whim with 20 min notice for arriving! They not only accommodated us, but even took time to set out fresh homemade cookies (amazing!) And a cute handwritten placard welcoming us by name! The owners were SO sweet, as was the keeper, and the place is absolutely charming! Everything about it is SO romantic and relaxing! The porch swings and hammock, the fire pit, the beautiful fields and flower beds, the birds and their songs, even the smells! If they had a candle scented like that, I’d buy it in a heart beat! There are amazing things to do within 10-25 min from there, but honestly- I’d be happy enough to just walk the grounds and relax all weekend!

Sam Martin

We just returned home from staying at the Inn at Watson’s Choice for three days Our room was very clean and comfortable (We were in the Four Seasons

) Breakfast each morning inside the main Inn and they accommodated my allergen needsThey take COVID protocols very seriously We would definitely return Thank you to Nancy and Bill for providing such nice accommodations!

We have been to many places but none like this The staff was amazing Food was out of this world and loads of activities

Reading some of the other trolling reviews drove me nuts Yes, you will spend more money than normal but the experience is out of this world Great place to take your kids or romantic getaway Do not listen to the trolls in some of the reviews This is an unforgettable place!!

Jen G

This is an amazing facility Perfect for a business trip or even a weekend away from the hustle and bustle So very beautiful, they really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome

Rooms are reasonable and very clean The food is delicious and there is a wide variety of dishes available It’s easy to find and there is plenty of parking There is a lot to do here

Fup Biz

Funky, eclectic, unique and in a beautiful location with stunning scenery The service is always top notch Food overall is decent considering where they want to be but never outstanding which is disappointing

The rooms go from perfect to dated depending on where you stay Loads of options for things to do which is huge plus However the price point is stupid and it’s not just the rooms The food, beverage, and in particular the spa prices are insane If this were a 5 star experience on all of the above maybe just maybe worth what they charge But even then a stretch yet they seem to be full so a lot of people don’t feel the same on the price

Clean, spacious rooms and pet friendly We stayed at this property for 2 nights and had a 2 queen bed suite The room was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator

The quality bath shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was greatly appreciated This room was quite roomy and very comfortable The Hot Start breakfast that is offered has many hot and cold selections including coffee, tea, and juices All of the staff that we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful

R Nicholson

Made the reservation in advance for 4 days Arrived after a very long trip expecting to relax for the afternoon First two rooms they sent us to were not clean – carpet was dirty, crumbs everywhere – peanut butter on the chair and sofa, papers on the floor, mold in the shower etc

After reviewing a 3rd room, we accepted it thinking it appeared to be cleaned properly I decided to use some wipes in common areas just to be safe After lifting the seat on the toilet, I found urine The pool was not open and they ran out of breakfast items daily SO disappointed
