This hotel was beautiful!! The decor was high end, the rooms were very nice Even the restaurant in the lobby had high end options The front desk staff and valet staff were helpful as well

The only problem was the shuttle They said it runs every 25-30 minutes, with multiple shuttles running at the same time We waited 40 minutes for our shuttle Just keep this in mind if you’re scheduling a trip to the airport and have to arrive at a certain time! Plan extra time!

Overall great experienceRooms were clean (except carpets were very stained though)The beds were comfortable however, the pillows were far too soft

There was the thinnest comforter I have EVER seen on the bedNeedless to say, I had to put the heat on to stay warmThe food at the Hotel restaurant, (I think it was called 12 Lounge or something to that effect) was deliciousWould definitely venture for another stay

Asmita Sharma

My room was super clean and very neat Whenever I ordered room service, the guys came up as soon as they could, in minutes When I ordered food, the food always arrived in less than 10 minutes – it was always fresh cooked and tasted amazing

They had a great swimming pool and a nice fitness centre The lobby was so nice – I could literally just sit there for hours One of the reasons I want to come back to LA, is so I could get to stay in this hotel again!

Tropic-feel hotel by LAXGreat for crew transition, in between flights, vacation or even conferencesThey have high quantity room capacity

Pool view rooms are the best with such lovely tropic feelNot liking the low ceiling room but itā€™s understandable Room amenities are very minimal No drinking water in the room, fyiPool landscape is gorgeous despite how little shade the whole place is Music is vibrantRestaurant food is quite okayHotel is cleanConference space and service are great and efficientSee what else?Shuttle bus service to and from the airport works well but make sure you plan enough time since it takes time in between drop off and pick up locations

My view is a bit skewed since I had an upgraded room Very comfortable space and bed Nice views of Burbank and downtown LA skylines

Customer service was good and everyone was very nice Nice Starbucks in the lobby and plenty of dining options My stay would have been a five if they could have just got my room key right I had multiple trips to the front desk to fix my electronic key they provide on my phone and nobody answers the front desk phone

Arrived at this hotel Oct 31, 2021 Loved my room with a balcony Enjoyed the hot tube, Workout room

Enjoyed having 3 restaurants available to me but I only used one of them The bellmen were excellent and always willing to help me with my bags The front desk help were kind as well Vaccination proof was later required for use of restaurants and the exercise room later on in my stay as LA County started that requirement I was able to stay several weeks at this hotel

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location was perfect (a major mall is right across the street) and it was easy to get everywhere I wanted The staff were pleasant and eager to help out The breakfast was just alright nothing extraordinary but good enough to get you out of the door

The waiters seemed partial but I guess it must be nice to relate with someone who speaks your language The only con is that they had agreed to a late check out but called to get me out of my room before the agreed time I wasn’t comfortable with this but overall it was a nice place The gym is also well equipped so pack some workout gear if you can!

Cc Cort

Letā€™s start by saying not all front desk people had great customer service I only encountered two women that actually gave excellent customer service on Saturday afternoon, and I was able to chat with themUpon arrival when I was checking in the guy from front desk was telling us about the parking, happy hours and complimentary breakfast

So the next morning on Saturday I went down for breakfast little did I know it wasnā€™t complimentary I had already served myself so it was too late to not pay for it It was $1758, I asked the girl at the front desk about the breakfast and she was very rude ( well I donā€™t know why he would tell you that) I honestly didnā€™t find this worth the money The food was not good at all I wasnā€™t hungry for a (buffet) so it was a waste of moneyThe pool was ok nothing fancy The room is pretty small and getting in and out was hard thereā€™s not much space The beds are super noisy ā€¦ you do pay for parking daily which I wouldnā€™t mind paying when the hotel is amazing which it wasnā€™tā€¦Our keys stop working the next day and they kept doing that the day after, so that was a bummer We had to keep going down to get that fixedThereā€™s nothing soundproof about this room I could hear everything outside and the top people were super loud around 3 am all the way through the day That was super annoyingOverall, I think the only good experience I had was the two front desk ladies that I was speaking to

T. Dinh

First time staying here and will definitely go back I felt very welcomed when I checked in and the front desk staff were so polite and friendly It wasn’t that forced kind of friendly either

The room was very cute and clean I was very happy to see they served real breakfast and not one of those grab and go bags It was a breakfast buffet with made to order omelets I had mine to go and there were no issues getting that boxed with a cup of OJ for the road I also felt appreciated as a Marriott member and already booked my next stay here for workIt is by the freeway so be sure to have earplugs (I always travel with some) so I did not have any problems with noise as some others have mentioned

Hotel is absolutely stunning both inside and out The coffee shop definitely had to be my favorite of everything, and everyone was so friendly and helpful Wendy at front desk helped me a ton with my stay, from reserving my room to making sure i received everything I needed

She was an absolute charm to speak and work with, and the hotel is very lucky to have her Thank you for making my stay here a memorable one, Wendy!!

Great place for an overnight layover at LAX! Shuttle was convenient, hotel was very nice and service was AMAZING the bell hop and shuttle drivers were so helpful! No microwaves in room, but there is one on the sixth floor in the ice and vending area Food at the restaurant Cafe is pretty expensive, but what do you expect in LA right? Shuttle bus gets pretty full so plan ahead to be early it might take two trips before you can fit

Anneke Johnson

This place had a lot of pros and cons On the pro side it still had the airport shuttle and many of the other hotels did not Also when my flight was suddenly changed as I was getting ready to walk out the door to go to the airport, the hotel gave me a late check-out time allowing me to stay until it was time for me to leave

On the negative side the advertisement indicated that there would be free breakfast which I take into account when booking in the overall cost This hotel no longer has free breakfast and the breakfast is fairly expensive around $20 Also the bed was not very comfortable and there was absolutely no hot water in the morning The top two things I take into account when looking for a hotel are a comfortable bed and a hot shower I gave this hotel 4 stars because of the fact that they extended my time and the staff were very friendly and helpful and I greatly appreciated that It really outweighed all of the other negatives

We had a wonderful stay here, the room was spacious and very clean Parking was easy every time and the included breakfast was a great bonus! I would also like to mention that the front desk staff were always helpful My only minor complaint was the size of the balcony, very narrow and generally small and for the extra cost, it is not worth it

Overall I would definitely stay here again

This hotel has a very convenient location for those going to / coming from LAX I had 7 rooms on the weekend of 3/26/2022 All of us enjoyed the atrium and spent many hours talking and eating out there

The rooms were nicely appointed, clean, and quiet when it was time to sleep The front desk staff were all courteous and helpfulSome things I did not like were:1 the $42 per night parking fee,2 the website said the 5:30-7pm happy hour was going, but in reality, it wasn’tbut they gave 1 drink coupon per person per night for a free adult beverage, and lastly,3 the shuttle took 2 hours to pick up our guest from LAX at 1am on 3/25Despite my dislikes, I would definitely stay here again if the need arose

Julie

This is a very disappointing hotel Our room was not ready upon a 4pm arrival There was no information about meals or amenities discussed at check in

There was a QR code for a menu in the room but it sent us to a broken website link The air conditioning vent noise is so loud that it sounds like construction is going on in the room (Currently waiting on maintenance) The pool area is in dire need of attention The water is cloudy and my son got hair (and a random crumb) on his face after five minutes of swimming I have some very disappointed kids here The hot tub is also broken (not that we would have chanced that anyways) As Diamond Members we have stayed in Hilton brands all over the US This one misses the mark big time Embassy Suites overall has passed its prime

My stay was great I haven’t been to the Sheraton Gateway since 2008 and I love all the upgrades they did I was in town to give my father a proper burial, he passed away a few weeks ago

The bed was very comfy, no complaints at all Hot water was available no matter what time I showered I requested housekeeping service daily and they came, cleaned my room and delivered fresh towels daily This hotel is very convenient to the airport whether you drive or not, shuttle to and from the airport, valet parking or self parking available as well I will be coming back to LA next year and will be staying here again:)

ą¦¶ą¦°ą¦æą¦« ą¦°ą¦¾ą¦œ

Overall, this was a comfortable place to stay I would avoid taking the shuttle provided as you are packed like sardines on a small bus There is a sign that says no standing as you enter the bus but the driver crammed as many people and luggage in as he could so some people stood the entire ride to the hotel (see picture)

This was a last minute stay due to a flight cancellation so that could be the reason Once I got off the shuttle, the woman at the front desk was very accommodating I had an issue with the room key not working but she was able to quickly resolve The room was spacious and it had a coffee maker which was great! There was also complimentary water provided There was an issue with the shower head that was not able to be fixed so I ended up just taking a bath instead Besides the shuttle, everything else was pretty good and the staff was accommodating

MiMi Nicole

My husband stayed here for two nights and truly enjoyed our accommodations The facility looked newly renovated, the rooms were extremely spacious, and even though we were very close to the airport, the room was very well insulated from sound There wasn’t much to walk to around the area, especially at night, but it was very central to a high-traffic area of hotels, and delivery services were always very speedy

Also, I left some very important items in the safe in the room, so I wanted to take a moment to thank Ashlyn O from housekeeping for being honest and turning them in It is nice to know that there are honest people still out there

Great place to stay I learned the hard way that you should never book a room in a place for less than $100 a night in big cities We had just left the worst hotel and came here for our last night and it was MILES higher quality for their cheapest rooms

It was safe, they have a garage (though it cost 10 bucks, but after our previous experience elsewhere, it was worth it), the continental breakfast was good, the room was spotless and updated The bed was comfortable, the sound proofing was greatMy only complaint was the hallway smelled like BO for some reason, but the room was fresh and smelled good Will definitely visit again if Iā€™m in the area

Ryan Sherman

Nice and close to the airport Staff was friendly and I thought they were the bright spot

Fast type food nearby Panda Express , El Pollo Loco, 7 elevenThe hotel was fairly clean in the hallway and rooms Caulking and things in the bathroom were dirty and rough looking Elevator was pretty rough lookiAll hotels in this price range of $150 per night in the LA area seem to be quite run down and far from what mid range hotels used to be

Shalynn Morgan

Complained of noise 5 times until 2 am Manager compensated with $70

until I wrote a poor review on a survey Best Western sent me days after leaving about the noise,, filth, and dismissive staff He then posted a charge to credit card for the $70 I thought it was compensation, not hush money A bad hotel that doesnā€™t even want to hear about their issues, let alone fix them

It was just OK The rooms were clean and I had a good night sleep It is just those little things that could have been just a little better

Friendlier greeting Nice staff, but I personally like a warm smileI was on a floor where the “insides” of the ice machine were exposed and buzzing very loud Not a good presentation as one is headed to the room Did not give me a good first impressionThey have a coffee bar and a restaurant, but they do not offer free coffee in the lobby Not a deal breaker I am just used to getting coffee in the morning from the lobbyWould I stay here again Yes Would it be my first choice, maybe notAgain, this is not a bad review Just a You could do things a little better note

E C

Hotel is very nice great location close to freeways, despite being close to freeways no outside noise, was put in a room close to the elevator, when ac was off we could here the elevator bell when landing on our floor, and we could here the toilet flush from the next room room has a beautiful layout where no space is waisted and it doesn’t feel cramped for a family of 4 Booked a room with a sofa bed but, no sofa bed in a room just a very comfortable small couch Pool area is seems not maintained, plants over growing no towels, chips on chairs

Ice machine wasn’t working on our floor but every other floor seem functional over all great stay and nice view out the window šŸ‘Œ

What a great stay!! We spent a fantastic weekend here – it was so relaxing and fun! The room was perfect, with great amenities! (Seriously, those are the softest robes Iā€™ve ever felt!)The lobby is airy and bright with a great bar The staff was so friendly and attentive And the location was perfect – we had fun exploring Culver Cityā€™s Art District, and then hopped in the car for a quick trip to Beverly Hills! Itā€™s also very dog friendly – our pup was able to come to all our meals with us, and the staff are all dog lovers too!And speaking of meals, the food was awesome! We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Etta

They have a great, creative wine list with so many local wines The pastas were fantastic, and weā€™re still dreaming about the focaccia bread! Donā€™t miss the rooftop – the vibes are great, the drinks are top notch and the pancakes at breakfast stole the show!We will absolutely be back soon – what a perfect getaway!

As a Director of Front Office in a large hotel from Santa Barbara I was very impressed with my entire experience staying here Brittany and Jackson did a fabulous job providing outstanding customer service From the moment I arrived until I left everything was so smooth and professional yet pleasant and friendly

The other two agents I encountered were also very helpful Their Valet staff were polite and helpful as well Loved the room I was upgraded to and would recommend this hotel to anyone They have two restaurants and a bar as well I enjoyed my breakfast on the rooftop at the Canopy Club 5 star service!!!! Thank you Hotel Shay:)

This hotel is awesome! For starters, parking is in the back of the hotel, its inside the parking garage, it may not look like it belongs to the hotel but they do share it with a different company You have to sign in first and pay for parking at the front desk and they give you a card to get in and out of the parking garage There is lots of parking at all times so do not worry about space

The hotel itself is very clean and quite and doesnt stink It’s very professional and looks high class and its very fancy and clean The rooms are very spacious and have a kitchen and a great view Overall it was a 10/10 experience and a great stay!

Steve Warwick

Very clean room, hats off to the housekeeping staff! My room was a spacious suite with 2 beds Room was updated and modern Deducting one star for front desk staff not mentioning the complimentary breakfast or where it was at and also the limited menu and mediocre food quality and service at the downstairs restaurant

I ordered the hummus plate and it was a plate with hummus, a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette and crispy pita chips The hummus did not taste even as good as hummus from Costco

Matthew Neubek

Our room here was very comfortable for sleeping, showering, and eating in front of the TV Nice to have a kitchen for refrigerating and reheating leftovers And real plates and utensils!Front desk staff was courteous and helpful

And the business center was comfortable for a couple hours of work on our laptopsWe are, however, from Florida So when attempting to dine on property, we were disappointed when asked for our vaccine cards before even being greetedWe were also told rudely, without eye contact, as though sub-human, that we were not allowed to serve ourselves continental breakfast without wearing a mask, even though we’d be sitting just 20 feet away while eating it, unmaskedWe were also not allowed to purchase coffee while unmaskedSome readers of these events are happy And that’s okayBut what’s not okay is the way we were viewed and treated: as unclean, unworthy, low-class outsiders When denied coffee, I looked around and saw a Jewish man and a seemingly single mother Neither spoke in my defense I appreciated the irony but would have preferred coffee

My family and I stayed here 7/16-7/17 To their credit, we arrived early and they were able to put us in one of our two rooms for an added fee That is pretty much where the positive experience ended

The room is more expensiveā€” by close to 100 dollars per room, than the other hotels nearby, and they require an incidental expenses hold of $300 per room For that we hoped to have a pleasant experience We are a family of 6, and booked the property in part because of on site restaurants and a pool for the kids The pool is laughably small ā€” clearly only there to check the box for hotel amenities The air conditioning cannot keep up with the demand for roomsā€” both of our rooms were uncomfortably hot (76-77 degrees Fahrenheit) and decreasing the temperature on the thermostat had no effectThe hotelā€™s only actual restaurant closes between 10 and 5 and there is also no room service during those hours We ended up walking over to another nearby hotel that actually had an open restaurant to have lunch That evening, we did both order room service for the kids and also went to the restaurant for dinner The food is mediocre at best with expected high prices (hamburger and French fries for $25), and the $16 per drink cocktails were frankly just not well made Neither refrigerator worked in our rooms The bathrooms and rooms appear nice, but the shower head was awful, spitting out water in all directions There were issues checking into our second room, and once we were given keys we arrived to find the room had not been cleaned and we needed to continue to waitAfter dinner, we needed to get to bed for an early flight At 11:47pm the room doorbell rang and there was a family outside of our room My husband thought they had the wrong room number 5 minutes later another knock at the door was the desk agent, stating that she didnā€™t know why we were in this room and asking to see our IDs We explained that they placed us in this room and gave us room keys, and my husband showed his ID We left the next morning at 5The shuttle and shuttle driver were helpful, which was nice However the overall experience was not good and for a total of $400 per room I would have expected a higher degree of competence and a restaurant to actually be open and serve reasonably good food and drinksWe were meant to stay here for another night on the way back and canceled our subsequent reservation Hilton should be able to perform better than this

Janette Cilliers (JC)

Room was nice, but there several small things I would have expected to be in the room of this caliber No ice bucket, not enough charging outlets or towels Also we found strands of hair all over the bathroom šŸ¤® Lastly, the pool had much to be desired

My bathroom is bigger than their pool And to top it off there were no lounge chairs or umbrellas in the tables It just looked unkempt and dirty Not impressed! I would have thought Hilton was better than this However the location was perfect if you needed to get to the airport quick, you could make it their in 5 minutes with their free shuttle

Shelby Allison

Our flight got cancelled so our family decided to stay here for the night since it was so close to the airport for our flight the next morning Having the shuttle service to and from the hotel was very convenient especially since we had two toddlers with us The rooms were very clean and updated and there were lots of food options nearby as well as a Coffee Bean in the hotel

Overall very nice and convenient

What a wonderful hotel experience, just what we needed after our late flight Close to the airport and easy check in! I appreciated the small things like facial tissues, a sign offering to providing any complimentary toiletries if we forgot any, and full size body wash/shampoo! Continental breakfast was scrumptious and plenty of food varieties including a pancake maker Staff were courteous and I appreciated the 12:00 noon check out time

Definitely would stay here again!

The beds were heavenly! Slept so good! The breakfast was very delicious with a lot of different options The hot tub was so relaxing! It was a great location There was a small safe in the room to use as well

The only downside is they make you pay a deposit when you check in It was also cool to see a lot of airplanes flying by out the window

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family Check in was easy, fast and staff was courteous The room was very fresh and clean

I was really impressed with how tidy and fresh smelling the room was The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets Each bed has a firm and soft pillow for you to use I chose this hotel because it comes with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker It also has an iron and ironing board and hair dryer Instead of leaving little bottles of shampoo and conditioner for you to use every day which is bad for the earth with all the plastic waste The shower has larger bottles of soap shampoo and conditioner that you could pump from the dispenser Breakfast buffet was fantastic There are eggs, sausages, toast, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon buns, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit like apples, oranges or bananas, juices, coffee and a fresh pancake maker There is also a gym for your use This place really has everything at an affordable price with free parking and no resort fees When selecting your hotel make sure you call the hotel and see if they charge for parking and resort fees because the low price that you see may be a lot higher with all the extra fees They also have a free shuttle to and from the hotel from LAX airport I highly recommend this Holiday Inn

The location near the airport was simply perfect There is a free shuttle service from the airport Staff was welcoming and very accommodating

Clean rooms with views to the airport Good value for money A plus is that we arrived early because of our flight and the front staff did an early check-in for us Will definitely book this hotel again

We got the 1 bed suite The area of the room was large and you have many spaces for storingCleanliness was very good and the view of the room was amazing as we got high floor room

The only thing that was annoying is lack of luggage carts I had to carry them all the way from the paring lot to the roomAmenities of the hotel worth the money you are paying for the room Wifi speed and breakfast were very good as wellLast, cost of the parking shall be revised and considered 45$ per night is very high

Absolutely darling, wonderful housekeepers, super helpful and even gave us water bottles every morning Awesome ladies However, that’s kind of where the good ends

The third floor doors were permanently closed, so you have to go all the way down to ground floor from the parking garage, across the lobby, then wait for an elevator to the room floors Funny how all of the surrounding properties– even the 2 and 3 star properties– haven’t had this problem Then you deal with the parking passes for the THIRTY DOLLARS A DAY parking Once again, way more expensive than competing hotels, and my pass kept getting invalidated overnight even though it was -supposed- to be active for my full stay, so even more hassle The rooms themselves arefine? Like seriously, the only thing that set it apart from a Motel 6 was that the shower had decent pressure and a shower wand attachment Otherwise I could have spent half the money for the same room, maybe even a nicer one But worst of all, their downstairs cafe claims it was Starbucks, but they don’t have the right brands, they don’t have the right machines, and none of their pastries are Starbucks, either The lattes tasted worse than what I could have gotten down the road at the gas station, and their pastries were somehow even worse Vending machine danishes are tastier– and fresher

The lobby and room was clean, the front desk was just OK, not very excited to help but not negative Self parking was easy just behind the hotel They have a rental car service in the lobby which is convenient and the bar and grill was just what we needed after a long trip

Oh and the Lady at the small gift shop were we picked up a few late night sodas was awesome to talk with she was such a super positive person the kind that just brightens your day

Upscale hotel on Century Blvd about 2 miles from LAX Sound insulated rooms keep airport noise outside A free shuttle runs every 15 minutes to LAX, though it can easily take 30 minutes to get to Terminal 1 in the morning, so don’t be deceived by the relatively short distance

Remember, it’s LA traffic and you’re near LAX, which makes it even worseIf you are driving, parking is $30 self park or $50 valet Valet will only let you park in the circle for about 20 minutes to check in unless there’s a line at check in and you grouse about the short grace period FYI, there’s a ton of street parking behind the hotel It’s light industrial, and looks sort of deserted on weekends, but there are definitely cars parked back there YMMVBellhop service is good if you need a luggage cart Ours provided a quick rundown of the amenities available on our way to the room and was friendly and helpfulThere’s a pool and spa on the third floor, and the rooms are decent, though I expect that the rooms have varying degrees of luxuriousness Regardless, you should expect a clean room, a comfortable bed, hot showers with rain heads (pretty sure there aren’t water restrictors installed) Towels are a not bath sheet size, but at least there are 4 provided Shampoo is good for one head of long hair or two with short

Perfect hotel for the night before an early flight, especially on Southwest It’s an easy 10 minute walk to terminal 1This appears to be an older building, but the interior is very nice and new

We had a room on the south side of the hotel with great views of planes landing and taking offOur room with 2 queen beds not only had a table between the beds but also small tables on the outer sides of both beds With plenty of outlets everywhereRoom service was delicious and quick Paula was very helpful in taking our order and very pleasant when delivering itThe only negative was the rather large gap when the sliding door to the bathroom was closed

First the good: bed was comfortable, shower was warm, and the airport was closeThen the bad:1) the shower had spray going up on the ceiling and you could see the water marks from where it hadn’t been cleaned previously2) either the conditioner and body wash dispensers were broken or the cleaning staff never filled them (and I’m not sure which scenario is worse)

Additionally, the dispensers were locked to the wall so you couldn’t even try shaking it While I do carry my own products, it’s not something I usually check before getting in the shower, especially at a hotel that calls itself “Regency”3) the phone didn’t work Like, there was *no* power and no way to try plugging it in somewhere else By the time I realized this (due to wanting a wake-up call and again, who would check if the phone works at a posh hotel), there was no point in trying to get a new room since I’d have to be up in 4 hours4) tried turning off the lights and searched all over before realizing that one light had the switch *on* it unlike every other light in the room that had a switch on the wall Then tried turning off the final light (that had a dimmer) only to find it didn’t turn all the way off! It got stuck in a nightlight setting or something Flipped the switch multiple times and finally it turned offIf this was a budget hotel, I’d probably give it more stars but if I’m paying premium prices, I expect a premium product Would not recommend and would only stay here if literally every other hotel near LAX was booked

Last Friday, our late flight from LAX to LAS was cancelled – the last one out on Delta I quickly booked this hotel so we would not have to sleep on an airport floor or in an airport chair I’m so glad I booked this hotel

When we walked in the desk agent, Danielle, greeted us and asked how we were doing When I told her about the cancellation and how stressed we were – without us asking – she gave us two vouchers for breakfast (was not included in our quick reservation) and a late check out because we still needed to sort out a car to drive home She also gave us extra bottles of water, and couldn’t have been more empathetic and helpful I can’t tell you how fabulous it was to be treated so well, after being treated so poorly by DeltaThe hotel room itself was very good as was the breakfast the next day The waiter that gave us coffee, etc was also very cheerful and helpful but I didn’t get his name It’s definitely a good place to go especially during these days of endless flight cancellations
