Very nice hotel The pool is open from 9-9 (For the kids) 🙂 They have a very delicious Breakfast, with tons of choices

Pricing isn’t bad either Once again though, I am all about the interactions The Gentleman that works at the front desk that checks you in was very nice Greeting us and chatting with us about our stay Can’t ask for better service!!!

Hannah Branham

Stayed for 3 days for work the room was very clean when I walked in I mean you could smell they just finished cleaning it was great The bed is really comfy has a really nice comforter and pillows The bathroom was very clean only problem with the whole experience was that the toilet kept getting clogged when I first walked in it already needed to be clogged before using it and also the sink wasn’t letting out water seems to be a little plumbing issues but room was comfy and cosy most of the employees were very nice and accommodating the pool is very nice it’s heated no salt water the gym also has a few good things to use and a water station

All and all great experience

Michael Bath

It’s a decent enough hotel Clean, friendly service, etc However, it appears as though it hasn’t been updated in quite some time

Decor was much more dated than many Hampton Inn’s I’ve stayed at Television was also quite small Location is okay, but there’s virtually nothing within walking distance unless you like crossing very high vehicular traffic areas, there is at least a Starbucks across the parking lot

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had The staff members were helpful and friendly Any requests we had for things like more pillows or towels were taken care of immediately

We even needed help with the television in the room and they were very responsive with that The hotel/our room was immaculate Breakfast was delicious both mornings I would absolutely stay here again

Doreen Villanueva

This hotel is very nice The suites are big and have a kitchen which is wonderful if you are staying for business, as I did Bed was very comfortable as well, and I am very picky about beds

The ONLY problem was the horrendous smell of marijuana all over the hotel, even in my room I could not escape it and it was really difficult not to let it ruin my stay People were allowed to smoke right outside the entrance doors and in their cars, but that smell goes everywhere People were obviously smoking in their rooms and there was nothing that staff could do about it The smell would come into my room from the hallway and through the heating vents It was awful I can’t believe that a big hotel like this cannot address this problem

Airess Hunter

The rooms are clean but the thermostat in my room doesn’t work properly It needs to be replaced The bedroom door is coming of the hinge

I feel like for the price that they charge people, these shouldn’t be issues They only clean rooms on certain days Of your floor is the floor they are doing that day, you have to call them and request it

We had a 3 night stay at Candlewood Suites The room was very decently sized, clean and all the appliances worked great The staff was friendly and explained where everything was

The store area across from the front desk had plenty of food, snacks and games and appliances you could buy or borrow The food prices were really good There’s a gas station and a few restaurants within walking distance It was a very nice stay! Highly recommended

David Syracuse

The check in was smooth and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful The room was clean and in good shape It had been modernized, but still had some older features

The closet door didn’t latch and there were just 3M hooks on the back of the bathroom door for towels The shampoo/shower gel dispenser had at some point fallen off the wall in the tub, and was just sitting on the vanity in the bathroom; the tape was still there in the tub The HVAC was loud and the wall thermostat didn’t work (even though the controls indicated to use that one) A clever little fan was provided to move air into the bedroom — it worked well The ice maker worked and the dishes were clean The hotel is dog-friendly, and our dog was very comfortable

Kristen Ott

I reserved a room for 8/5-8/7 and tested positive for Covid 8/1 As a responsible adult, I cancelled my reservation as to not spread the illness Because of this, I lost almost $500 due to their garbage cancellation policy that required a cancellation before 7/29

I would recommend staying at literally any other hotel that does not employ predatory cancellation “policies” during an unpredictable pandemic

I have stayed at a lot of Marriott hotels (I am a silver elite member) This one was not impressive The carpet in the room had that weird damp feeling, there was no place close to the bed to plug your phone in, the light switch for the bed light was not close to the bed, the clock was so old- had a MP3 player charger, nothing for new technology

The toilet ran throughout the night, the carpet in the dining area was horribly stained The room itself did not have a clean feel to it I wore flip flops while walking through it and wiped down surfaces with my own sanitizer In the future I will pay the extra $30 to stay at the courtyard I have stayed at some really nice Spring Hills This one looks like them in the photos, but is nowhere near the quality of them It is almost like this hotel tried to update, but did not do enough And really could be cleanerOnly positive was the staff was very friendly Also, would be nice if they put some fruit out to grab in the morning for an early flight since breakfast doesn’t start until 630

Erik Gustafson

Hotel was clean and updated Room was nice, clean, quiet, and AC worked great Decent on the go hot breakfast offerings

Super close to the airport but little, if any, noise overnight Not sure of the bad reviews, I didn’t see anything like it Almost all hotels have some bad rooms or stains, and to pretend imperfection is 1 star doesn’t sound like someone who’s traveled much Anyways, was a great stay in my book

Gail Gratzel

My sister-in-law had recommended this hotel saying it was REALLY REALLY nice, so we booked a room for one night We were hot, tired and ready for a good nights sleep we arrived to what we thought would be a nice stay The room had an odor to it upon entering, kind of underlying tobacco combined with carpet fresh smell

We were exhausted so decided to just bear with it Well, the bathroom floors were sticky, the mirrors had a film on them as well as the glass shower doors When I got into bed the carpet fresh and tobacco smell was worse than ever The pillows also had a body odor to them We called the front desk to change rooms There were no other rooms available that evening They didn’t even offer a credit I would never stay at this hotel again I’ve always stayed at Marriott’s and have never ever experienced anything like this The cost with taxes was close to $300 Pretty bad all around 🙁

This hotel is super outdated It needs to be completely renovated We had a problem with our plumbing in both the toilet and shower, the heating system emitted a burning smell, the ceiling entry light flickered constantly, and the electric keypad on the door was broken so we had to keep going down to the front desk

I couldn’t express my frustration to the housekeeping staff because the ones on duty didn’t speak English well I would have given 1 star but the staff was very accommodating and the manager helped us a lot I love the Marriott brand but I wouldn’t stay here at this location again until they bring this place up to code

Don Dude

Well maintained, clean, and comfortable rooms A very quiet location actually, but not far from 91 so good access Pool, gym, etc amenities, breakfast is typical mix of hot and continental

Staff is VERY helpful and pleasant All the HVAC in the rooms is in excellent working conditionParking area is a bit tight, but there is a place to park, just not the most convenient in the highway side lot areaDefinitely a great option if you want kind of a Centralized location for the Hartford/Springfield/Northampton/amherst area Not a tonne of restaurants or brewpub/taprooms nearby, but many within a 15-20 minute drive, so not bad

Jessica Medina

Easy to get to from I91 We came with young children The property was very clean! The staff were very welcoming and professional

Maid staff were respectful of personal property, we came to a clean room when we went out for the day The pool area had a shower to rinse off and clean towels Continental breakfast was pretty decent I would consider coming again!!

Worst hotel experience in my life I am willing to bet my last dollar the most of the 5 star reviews on this page are fakeThings they won’t tell you before you book: Indoor pool has a 5 person limit (and time slots were booked our entire stay)

Elevator out of service the entire stay Thermostat out of service the entire stay No microwave in the room The hotel is dingy, it looks nice in their pictures but trust me, this place is like a renovated Super 8 that had lipstick thrown on the pigStaff was rude from the beginning They lied and said there were no rooms available for early check-in until other families from our group arrived with our kids and were making noise in the lobby Then, magically, dozens of rooms opened up After that, the guy at the front desk decided to make his own rule that kids weren’t allowed to be in the hotel common areas without an adult We were treated like prisoners by the staff the entire stayAlso, don’t eat the breakfast My son waited an hour for cold pancakes When we told the worker that they forgot the bacon, he did apologize and return with his bare hand full of cold crumbled up bacon which I declined

Not nearly clean and well-kept enough for the price Shower curtain was too long and stained; towels looked liked someone had handled them hastily; pillows didn’t smell too fresh; no plastic ice bag (I use them for covering remotes), among other issuesThe lobby staff were amicable and there was a small 5-pack of alcohol wipes in the room, which was cool, but I would not stay here again

Amy Wayman

Staff is great Suite is very clean and comfortable The only complaint I have is you hear EVERYTHING

Our ‘neighbors’ decided to party into the early morning hours with absolutely no regard for others Very loud in the hall, people trying to get into the party room knocking loudly on the door because the music and people inside were very loud I’m all for having a party but not if your neighbors are being disturbed

Dani D’Aquila (Beanie)

The cooking is homemade and incredible Incredibly served in a gorgeous and beautifully furnished dinning room Everything is very old fashioned looking and well decorated

Very ‘homey’ The hosting is very well done and comfortable They allow you to bring in alcohol you’ve purchased The rooms are so very nice with large windows and there’s even a suite The outside is just as gorgeous with a wrap around porch with plenty of nice seating Well gardened Beautiful

Sidney Wolf

Disregard previous positive reviews for this business They were for the prior owners who transferred the business in late 2018 If Google Reviews allowed me to give no stars, I gladly would

Do not attempt to make a reservation on the website of the Lily House and prepay I did so for a room Despite charging my credit card for the full rate, Lily House contined to indicate the room was available on their reservation portal, allowing it to be booked by others When I expressed concern via emails, asking for definite confirmation of my reservation, Lily House did not reply Money pocketed, no room Next step, a complaint to the Better Business Bureau

Jacky had our room looking and smelling good Perfect! Front Desk staff (every shift) were friendly and very helpful Breakfast was fresh and plentiful

I don’t know the F/B lady’s name but she was so nice She worked that Thursday thru Sunday mornings, she kept everything clean and well stocked The pool area was clean with plenty of towels Thanks again for the pleasant stay!

Todd Moffre

My wife and I stayed there for a last minute overnight and were extremely happy and impressed Staff were all happy and helpful The room was clean and included a small fridge and microwave

Free parking in the back lot Pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included, which was a bonus! It is centrally located between the “museums” of Springfield (our daytime activity) which are a short walk, the “arena”, across the street (which had a hockey game\ didn’t go) and the MGM Casino (Our night time activity) just a block away Not to mention all the local restaurants All in all we both gave it an A+

Donna

Beautiful hotel conveniently located near MGM and many other great things The staff is on point! Super friendly and very accommodating We arrived really late and had the pleasure of meeting Asante, who couldn’t have been more helpful

Did I mention the beds always look forward to returning and getting a great night’s sleep followed by a great shower!

We stayed for 2 nights just a bit ago Extremely clean, including finding a drier sheet in the bedding (the best thing to find in the bedding at a hotel lol) Staff was exceptional and friendly

The only ding is that the rooms are fairly narrow, but the soundproofing between rooms was on pointBest point of design is that the whole room had a tile floor No gross hotel carpets to be seen!

K G

The Tru Hilton manager Rachel generously offered us a bereavement rate as we traveled to Chicopee for my aunt’s military funeral service As always, our Tru stay was excellent The rooms are clean and cheerful with nice desks and office chairs

The mobility accessible rooms are very large comparably and offer excellent space with vinyl wood floors for rolling a walker as well as spacious roll-in showers The breakfast is always good with fun yummy pancake maker and nice options including eggs and oatmeal Tru also has one of Hilton hotels best coffee! We love the fun locally themed lobbies, filtered water machines, clean fitness rooms, and friendly staff This hotel is near the highway but we slept well and appreciated the great value and safe parking lot to leave the vehicle overnight Definitely recommend!

Coach ShaVon Guinyard

This hotel is absolutely beautiful Our first night here we were greeted with outstanding customer service The morning after the same

We left for the day to visit schools and came back to dirty towels still on the floor and trash not emptied I called and asked for clean towels and was told I had to bring the dirty towels and get new towels After asking for the GM information I got “noise complaints” of music being too loud when no music was playing I then got noise complaints of talking too loud Which no one was We usually go to Marriott brand hotels We will stick with Marriott Very disappointing for the price we pay to stay here

We stayed here and blocked off rooms for family and friends for our wedding weekend It was the best hotel experience any of us ever had Tamika (the manager) would bend over backwards for you and all the maintenance workers were right there offering to help with anything

They set up pull out beds for bridesmaids to all be in one room, Gabe set up a wedding website for us to use on the invites so everyone had ease booking the rooms, the breakfasts were free and delicious, maids cleaned rooms first so people could check in early and get to our wedding rehearsal Everything was perfect They made our very busy weekend and our first night as husband and wife so easy and magical!

Justin Loughman

We chose this location due to proximity of Six Flags Very simple easy stress free ride to the park within 15 minutes The entire staff was very helpful and attentive to the details, always observed diligently cleaning all day

Every interaction at the front desk was efficient and pleasant The entire staff deserves recognition for ask the hard work noticed Upgraded and extended our stay because we enjoyed the location Also surrounded by food options, cinema half mile away We already have planned our next stay in a few weeks

ASC Professional Handling

Good rooms Service is below average Called down for extra blanket never received it

Called next night and got it awhile later On our 3rd day we are allowed to have the room cleaned We requested and it was never done Service was nothing better than red roof If you wanna pay the extra money for nicer hotel and service I suggest Marriott in Enfield One exit from this Hampton inn Had to stay here since it was full for the week

The hotel didn’t have our reservation on file with the confirmation number received via Expedia We paid roughly $50 extra for a room that accommodated the # of guests in our party with a pull-out couch (not comfortable) The staff were super nice and the rooms were clean

I wish that they at the very least didn’t charge the extra money for an inadequate room The room we originally booked for two nights was available our second night and it was much more pleasant

Sammy Euston

Had no choice but to stay since we got in late and were exhausted by the drive but I’ve stayed in a good number of Hampton inns and this was by far the *worst* one! Stains everywhere, including one suspicious brown stain on the seat of the chair, bathroom had repairs done but they were awful and the tile needs new grout asap, there was still trash from previous guests in the cans, grass clippings all over so I know it wasn’t vacuumed Bed was noisy Hallways also had trash that wasn’t cleaned up

The front desk lady was very short with us Didn’t explain anything Didn’t even tell us our room number just wrote it on the key card envelop and sent us on our wayArea the hotel is in isn’t great either, parking lot had a ton of trash about including a dirty diaper that wasn’t cleaned up the next morning either Disgusting Stay anywhere else Not here

Ken Llamas-Figueroa

Stayed here for a quick overnight and I was happy to not be the one paying for the stay

The rooms were good size but nothing out of the normal I found hair in the bathroom that was from a previous guest so that didn’t instill much confidence in the cleaning The location was absolutely atrocious for me Located next to the freeway, I was able to hear all of the vehicle noise making it difficult to sleep The elevators were also extremely nerve racking to go on

I have been staying at Hampton Inn in West Springfield for 7 months now as a travel RN Tammy is always so accommodating with my booking and difficult work schedule The staff is incredible

Yaira is so hardworking, personable, and at your service whenever need be!! She’s awesome! Ruth and David are so pleasant and also very helpful! They always make such great potatoes! The cleaning staff is always so sweet and hardworking as well Would definitely recommend staying here!

Iv Mend

Clean enough and with very good breakfast, nice staffHowever, before making the reservation, I was told we could use the facilities after checkout, specifically the pool Which is the way it is in almost every hotel I’ve stayed in my life (even provide storage)

The pool was one of the main reasons we took the hotelThen, that morning I was told we couldn’t use it because we would no longer be guests at the hotel After spending $450 for two rooms for a night we would not be considered guests that day and not be allowed to get in a pool that is just there

Brent Alford

Did not enjoy the stay at this hotel The heater made a strange noise throughout the night I mentioned in the morning but was also checking out so no idea if they resolved

The rooms was one of the smallest rooms I have stayed in at a hotel The bathroom was also small and laid out in a weird design The room was clean and the bed was ok Breakfast wasn’t bad and typical Hampton Inn and included eggs, meat, potatoes and other options In a pinch it would get the job done if traveling through the area and need a basic place to spend the night but there are much better options in the area

My room was neat and clean, and the staff was super helpful and personable! The morning breakfast waitress, Lake, was super nice and on top of her orders and kept our cups full! The location was easy for me to get to after a long drive, and since I typically like to Stat at Hilton hotels, the team here only reinforces my choice! I didn’t make use of the gym this time around, but definitely got in soe pool time in both the pool and the hot tub! This made for a good night’s sleep!

Nice hotel Hate the Covid restrictions We stayed for 5 days for an outdoor show

Our room was never cleaned With 2 small garbage cans they got full after the 1st day We had to ask for them to empty the garbage We had to request more towels as if 4 towels between 2 people would ever be enough for 5 days We had to request more coffee pods and creamer etc Hopefully the next time we visit, these restrictions will be lifted

Uh Fairly mediocre accommodations, to be honest There didn’t appear to be a fan in the bathroom, so that was kind of a bummer

The staff was mostly reasonable It was frustrating that a free breakfast option wasn’t available, but I understand that that’s not an individual hotel’s decision, usuallyThe proximity to the Hall of Fame was great Reasonable enough proximity to the casino, though there are certainly other hotels that are closerParking was easy, so there’s that
