Very, very nice hotel! Impeccably clean Beautiful lobby with fire pit and restaurant Shampoo, conditioner, body wash were very fragrant and were wall mounted so no need to ask for extra of the tiny little bottles

Two large pools, one indoor and one outdoor with pretty landscaping The front desk staff were super nice and accommodating and kudos to the cleaning staff as well!

Rania Dempsey

The room was fine (but be aware-a double room Is two double beds, not two queens); the pool and fitness room were nice and the hotel iswell located, but the service was not good Staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful at check in and gave us incorrect info about the wedding with which we’d booked a group rate

Due to a reservation issue, we had a different reservation for each night of our two night stay but we were assured we would be in the same room and wouldn’t need to check in/out twice However, after one night we were automatically checked out of our room and our room keys stopped working (with all our belongings still locked in our room) We called the front desk for help and the line rang about 20 times then disconnected with no answer and no assistance Not a huge deal but just an annoyance and staff not super interested in helping

Denver Marriott West is the hotel we always stay at when we come to Denver We bring our two Golden Retrievers We are always treated as family there and our dogs love it

I want to give a shout out to Kelly She was amazing!! Very friendly and took the time to accommodate us and meet our needs Thank you to all of the staff at the front desk, lounge, and cleaning staffthat always make our stay enjoyable

We arrived early Our room was not ready The communication was great to let us know and they were able to hold our bags while we went out to grab lunch

When we returned the employees remembered us and brought our belongings out before we even got up to the counter We had a great conversation with Cherish who I believe is the manager (or one of them) She was super informative, polite, kind, genuine, and clearly put forth amazing efforts to make this hotel the experience it is for us The dedication she has to ensuring every visitor has a great experience was clearly visible and noticed They gave us directions to places without seeming annoyed or like they had 1000 other things to do or other people to help The staff was impressive for a lack of more description Location is great and so many places to walk to from here I would 100% stay here on my next visit Love, love, love the positive energy in this building!!

Miranda G

We loved almost everything about this hotel and we will stay againThe location is excellent! Easy to get to both Denver and places like Red rocks and GoldenOur kitchen wasn’t cleaned or stocked when we got there; stuff was in the fridge from the previous person and crumbs on the table

One glass and no regular coffee Not a huge deal at all Some things in the room could use updating, but still very comfortable and spaciousOur only complaint was the broken pool heater and the breakfast clerk She was too gruff and started removing food the second the clock said breakfast was over We were afraid to ask for refills of milk because she was rather snappy A little customer service training would be helpful for herOtherwise, this a perfect for your family visit to Denver!

Kevin Granato

Definitely the best place to stay if your coming for a vacation So close to everything downtown without the traffic and congestion Located right in the middle of an awesome shopping center with all kinds of restaurants and shops

Perfect if you want to visit downtown every day or take trips to Boulder, Colorado Springs, or the mountains Free breakfast is a plus too! Parking is a little tight, but we never had an issue finding a spot Rooms and staff are great too!

Service was really great, but in our first room, there was blood in the sheets and our room wasn’t vacuumed The front desk person was real nice about letting us switch out promptly and we were placed in a much better room Breakfast was really great and included a full bar

However, the homeless population tend to spend the night in the area Like heavily I was super worried about my car since I was traveling with a packed back seat However, no harm done once I got there, thank God!

Holly Hester

I don’t often put up reviews but if I could give this a 0 star review I would do so I highly recommend never staying at this location, especially if you have kids We were in the area for a youth sports event and our group had booked multiple rooms

Upon arriving at the hotel there were some homeless people attempting to sell a bicycle and it was impossible to park in the check in lane Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by another member of our group that had already been switched rooms due to their original room being dirty On our way up to our room we were greeted by a STRONG smell of fish and the room did not smell much better An additional family in our group stepped off of the elevator to witness a drug exchange happening This is not a place you want to bring your families Our group switched hotels due to safety concerns with the youth, we were told to call the manager Monday regarding refunds One member has spoken to the manager who refuses to refund any money I cannot get the manager to call me back and not only do I have the original charge on my card, I have an additional fee that has been charged We literally only sat our belongings in our room, we did not occupy the room or use the facilities in them Beware that this is not a safe location

Pat Changa

It’s the first time that a Holiday Inn will not pass my standards I wonder what is going on here A bunch of kids are running this place, meet in the morning to have breakfast which is served 3x a week to late to the guests

This was a business trip for us and we arrived in the afternoon around 4pm Right away we noticed the messy front yard and the weeds Nobody took care at all around the building Several hoods of some trucks and cars stood open, as it was allowed to work on your car in the back of the parking lot Than we walked inside Nobody was behind the reception, therefore the person who prepared the food, restocked the coffee – explained that no one is available yet to give us the room keys and match the payment choiceAbout 30min later we finally were officially greeted and received our keys to the room Definitely not what we expected Not proper vacuumed, dirty toilet bowl and greasy finger prints all around the furniture in the room Loud at night, gated but it felt unsafe Tweakers came up to the main doors and asked for cigarettes and being rude This building needed a security, but no security guard available Definitely not going to be one more night for us Even after complaining at the reception to the morning staff, we haven’t received any apology Btw, we haven’t even received proper points for our stay What a shocking experience Somebody needs to step up here, probably a management issue, or most likely an owner issue

Adorable property!Great rooms, we had one with a balcony overlooking the street belowSuper comfy beds with lots of pillowsThe staff is super nice, helpful and accommodating

The restaurant is really good too Food is delicious, Margaritas are superb and everyone is very kindI love Golden, it’s a magical place!

My wife and I headed over to have some brunch When we arrive we sat out in the patio which was very comfortable I ordered the brisket hash which came with potatoes and eggs

I was looking forward to having some good hash but when it arrived it was all smothered in barbecue sauce and look like do stew I ordered my eggs poached and they were still a little on the hard side I expressed my concerns to the waitress and she asked me if I wanted to order something else and I decided to split my wife’s mail which she had ordered biscuits with chicken and eggs That meal was outstanding The biscuits were nice and thick homemade the chicken was cooked perfectly and the eggs were also poached but soft I would definitely go back another time however I would not order the brisket hash The service was great the weather was perfect and the patio is a nice comfortable place to people watch We parked in the hotel parking which is underneath the hotel very small maybe 10-15 spots and the restaurant is right there They’re all so is some on Street parking We will visit this establishment again and try something new on the menu Cheers

Will be sharing this with hotel management Had a nice stay

room was clean and comfortable And we definitely appreciate you working with us on the early check in (we had come in on the Amtrak that morning) Special props to Tucker at the front deskvery helpful and friendly Check in/out was a breezeComplaint? Please fix your key card issue I understand you’re working on itbut super frustrating to try to get in to your roomor use the elevatorwith key cards that work sporadically if at all

W Wallace

Hot water does not keep up with demand If you enjoy hot showers look elsewhereContacted front desk first day of stay with the issue and was told due to capacity the hot water is not capable of more than it was providing

If you enjoy steamy showers, again, look elsewhere

Chris B

I normally have great experiences at Marriott hotels, but this place is an overpriced dump The parking situation sucks and a homeless guy walked in the main entrance and started berating my wife when I was unfortunately in the room She said the front desk didn’t bother to remove him

The place feels dirty Never, never staying here again So disapointed

I decided to stay here because it was not too far from Meow Wolf, there were stores and restaurants nearby and it was affordableIt did not disappoint The front desk employee Nick was amazing

He was friendly, professional and so helpfulThe rooms were clean and comfortableAlthough they don’t have the cleaning staff available all the time it wasn’t an issue and I stayed 3 days If I needed anything I’d just ask the front deskWe plan on more trips to Denver in the future and we will stay here againThank you so much!

Koko Rapoport

I lived in Denver for 10 years and came back for a visit My husband, baby, and I stayed here and we really loved it Very clean and comfortable, plenty of easy parking, great customer service from the staff at the front desk, and the cleaning service was fantastic

A continental breakfast was included every morning, there were great outside spaces, plus a nice little workout room We will definitely be staying here again!

Rachel Paulson

This hotel is very well done The rooms are very well laid out and spacious The hotel staff is amazing, there is a front desk employee that checked me in that is wonderful and so helpful my entire stay!I am here for work so I have been working very long hours and sleeping right up until I have to leave

Which brings me to the reason I am leaving three stars The breakfast is seriously just… gross This hotel was chosen specifically because it had a breakfast The breakfast sandwiches are a soggy, the muffins and bagels were so hard! I didn’t even try the oatmeal, because on Friday I saw some kiddo stick his fingers in it During the week breakfast is pulled out at 9 am… sometimes yesterday it was still out at 9:15 and today at 8:59 it was gone Thankfully there is a Starbucks in the Super Target at the mall (That is within walking distance) I think there is a lot to be worked on in this departmentEverything else was great

Debra Nelson, Psy.D.

We stayed at this property for a vacation and had a wonderful time The apartment was spacious, clean, and in a nice location in the city The pool was on the smaller side, but workable

It was all 4ft deep except for a neat area that was 1ft deep with lounge chairs in the water The gas grills were clean, and the outdoor gas fire pits were great! There was a really nicely appointed gym on the property, and even a Starbucks coffee/cocoa machine outside of our room The facility was pretty quiet— though on weekend days you could hear people by the pool (our room looked out over the pool) Parking was in a secure underground garage We had a small issue with the air conditioning, and they came out on a holiday to fix it and also bring us a portable unit in case we needed it Superb service— we would stay with the Kasa brand again

Victoria Eddy

We had a wonderful experience with Kasa Denver This was a perfect location in the city and we were able to get around to the fun places downtown within a 10-15 min walk This is right across the street from a park so there was lots of people out and about walking their dogs

We felt very safe in this location Our room was very clean and nice Large king size bed, one TV in the living room and one in the bedroom Large bathroom and the kitchen was a good size too They had a dishwasher and a washer and dryer in the unit as well The customer service was excellent here Anytime we called they answered and helped us within minutes Our garage door opener didn’t work the first time and we got a new one from the property manager not even 5 minutes later I would suggest taking the key pass that is on the lanyard with you when you leave so you don’t have to deal with the key pass code entering the building or in the elevator It was much quicker that way and we could enter from any part of the building then The only thing I would say could improve is how dry the room was The sheets were very staticky and dry so we popped them back in the dryer with a lot of dryer sheets and that helped Overall excellent experience and would stay here again as well as recommend others staying here

Julie Lee

I stayed here for three weeks while my daughter attended a treatment facility It was a little pricier than other places we could have stayed, and was a little bit further of a drive, but it worked out great for several reasons It had a cool vibe, I felt a bit like a local staying here

Close to the park, walking distance of grocery and restaurants etc It was comfortable, the bed was comfy, it had a pretty decent kitchen, and good closet and bathroom storage as well as washer and dryer We enjoyed the pleasant view of the mountains and pool from our terrace My daughter loved seeing all of the friendly dogs and tenants each time we got on the elevator or went to grab a Starbucks coffee or coco from the free dispenser on our floor While getting the feel of being a local was cool, remember it is not a hotel with daily cleaning or refills on dish detergent or garbage bags etc Each time I needed help with something I was able to text Kasa and get almost an immediate and friendly answer Thanks Kasa!

Great place in the heart of downtown! Clean and comfortable rooms, common areas were all very clean I was so impressed with the hotel for such a great price Would absolutely categorize as a 4 star hotel

The lobby has great seating areas throughout and dining areas as well as a Starbucks and bar Only con was Valet was incredibly expensive at just over $50 for the night

Ash U

There are little things that bothers me about this hotel Let’s start with the good It’s upscale, looks amazing, and is in the heart of the city so you can navigate really easily

The staff is also super friendly! However, the downsides are as follows:No microwave in the rooms, but there is a tiny fridge I’ve been in lower end hotels and they had both This only bothered me when my friend and I brought food back to the room and had no way to heat it upNext, parking is Hella expensive at about $40 a day, so it’s better to find a daily rate that’s reasonable elsewhereLast but not least, the hotel is divided by two buildings, with the second taller one called “the tower” figuring out how to get to my room or the garage was a bit of a struggle the first day because I wasn’t aware the second set of rooms were in the tower and you had to cross a bridge and take a second elevator to get there Getting back to the car was annoying because I had to walk down hall, take elevator down, cross the bridge, then take the second elevator to the basement levels If you forget something in your room you won’t be able to quickly make it thereOutside of that, I had a great time and a peaceful stay

Juli Rasmussen

I came here in January 2022 for a real estate conference and stayed for two nights As a Titanium member, I get upgraded occasionally, and luckily, I was upgraded to a suite in the tower It has an interesting layout that I would say is for entertaining people

I did a video tour and put that on YouTube The bathroom was very large and the bedroom was nice and quiet But, there was an L shaped entertaining room that would be good for a Happy Hour with clients or something like that? 🙂 Also, it had a nice view during the day and at night of the Civic Center park and art museum, etc Mountain views out the bedroom windowThe hotel is great, we had a drink and tried a burger and an appetizer at the bar and we were given breakfast tickets to the buffet and it was great and the server was very kind! The conference was held here and it was also very good The lunch was great – I really like the dressing on the salad and the healthy feel of the lunch Dessert was good too!We parked offsite and walked two blocks Overall, a great stay and experience with all the things I got to do/try Thanks!

I’ve been here for two weeks The kitchen is nice, but the kitchen equipment is quite inadequate The furniture in the room is quite old

Unfortunately, we had to kill a few insects Cleaning is done once a week and it is very insufficient It’s nice to have a washing machine, but the dryers don’t work well and one of them ripped my t-shirtOther than that, the location is good The rooms are large

bob w

Everything was nice The suite was nice

It was comfortable, clean All that good stuffBUT!!!! We stayed there for a week when it was around 100 degrees, and the AC was on a motion detector Leave at 9am, come back at 8 or 9 or 10pm and its 96 degrees in the room, and the AC didn’t kick on until you walked inIt took until about 6am for the AC to get it down to comfortable If I do it again, I’m bringing something that moves all day I didn’t get a good night sleep there at all Hot sticky and miserable No motion, fine, then reset it to 80 or even 85 Don’t turn it off completely

ShamanSkye

Honestly, there were a few concerning issues during this stay with the hotel itself and unfortunately they go through a lot workers on every level But, I would stay there if I had too again The (GM) Nicki, no matter what was going on with her personal or professional life, be it good or bad she was always professional and was more than willing to help you and your concerns even if you yourself were not in your most professional way with her😉 I gave this hotel 5 star’s mostly because of the compassion that both Nicki (GM) and Kim (Sales) have for other’s especially during a pandemic and with so much uncertainty and already cruelness in this World, I am happy that there are still good people along one’s journey🙏😇🙏 Stay Safe & Blessed, Everyone💫

You HAVE to stay in this hotel if you’re traveling in to Denver to catch a Rockies game! The rooms were incredibly clean and nice The hotel’s location is as perfect as you can get, you literally just go down to the lobby, walk out the door, walk across the bridge that’s right there, and boom you’re at the ballpark! The rooftop pool area is incredible as well We stayed here for one night and caught a Rockies game and we cannot say enough incredible things about it

And the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Kevin Carlson

We came in to Denver this past weekend for a hockey game and stayed at the Rally Great spot Every staff member we interacted with was very nice/helpful, our room was very clean, and the location is great

They offer a courtesy car that will take you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel and we greatly appreciated this service going to/coming back from the game The only bummer was the hotel bar was closed the days we were there (Sunday-Monday), but there’s not shortage of places close by to grab a drink at Can’t really fault them for not having the bar open on what I assume are their slowest daysWe’ll be back!

Michael

My wife and I stayed over the weekend It was our first time staying It was exceptionally clean and the room itself was fantastic

We had the Mile high suite and had a full view of coors field Between the complimentary car service and the rooftop hot tub Our trip was amazing We will be returning soon and staying at the Rally again Special shout out to the boys at valet They were great to ride with

New, clean, nice property All people working were very friendly and helpful Good location in downtown Denver

Just being totally forthcoming here, room size was a little on the small size, lighting was a little dark, electrical outlets were not plentiful and the biggest drawback on a work trip No desk workspace with chair which made working/prepping difficult and awkward The room would have much better if used for a non business trip Bathroom amenities were perfect, shower and water pressure were great Oh, the shampoo/conditioner/body wash containers were awkward with a large base and narrow neck which made it difficult to get the containments to actually flow in a reasonable time That can easily be improved Besides the lack of a work desk and chair, a very nice property

Spending a glorious weekend at the Thompson for a little downtown staycation The hotel is beautiful, the furnishings and finishes all high-quality, our room (a corner King) truly is surrounded on two sides by floor to ceiling windows with a nice view of the clocktower, and is spacious and comfortable We’ve enjoyed delicious cocktails at both the lobby bar and Reynard Social, coffees from their Duel coffee bar, and a delicious treat of complimentary macarons and dark chocolate truffles sent up to our room

The staff have all been amazingly accommodating, and everything about our stay has been perfect so far Also, breakfast at Chez Maggie is totally worthwhile Possibly the best omelette I’ve had, complete with fresh greens, and they make their hash browns in a little crispy buttery cake YUM! My first bite was like a scene out of Emily in Paris You just have to try it to understand! Highly recommend the Thompson and all it’s food and beverage amenities for your next Denver stay!

Our experience at The Thompson was wonderful The room was comfortable and evoked a true sense of the word “luxury” The service on the other hand, was very home-like at every step of the way

Manny and Alex were great hosts and gave excellent recommendations for food and things-to-do nearby Every random item we requested including a humidifier, hair-brush, toiletries etc were delivered to our room with utmost priority During our 4-night stay, the room would be cleaned and tidied-up in the afternoon, but without the air of ‘intrusion’ in the process Being in the heart of LoDo Denver made getting things done and exploring the city easy The several other perks that come with being a guest at the Thompson made our experience nothing short of outstanding Kudos to the ethos of the entire staff in making things hospitable for every person that walks through the front door

Garbage in the hall when we checked into our room, still there in the morning We weretold there are no housekeeping services available during our stay A single coffee cup, one bowl and one glass…hardly a well appointed room

The pictures show a lovely fire pit area to enjoy in the evenings, it’s a very small enclosed courtyard with a couple of uncomfortable chairs and lots of highway noise Called the front desk to express my disappointment, was told a manager would call me back, which did not happen As a Bonvoy member, this is not what I have come to expect from a Marriott, huge disappointment

Stayed here to get away for a night and take the kids to the pool and hot tub Only problem, no hot tub even though some sites say there is one and there’s signs all over the hotel saying there is one They provided complimentary water bottles, which was nice, but by the time we went to grab some for the night, they were out

Left a note saying they would re-stock it the next day but never did The breakfast was a joke They hardly offer anything, no fruit, no pastries, no bread Some cheap hotel eggs and sausages and a few boxes of cereal was about all they offered They were completely out of coffee by 8:00am I think this place is overpriced for what you get

Please avoid staying here until they update the hotel to modern Marriott standardsThe rooms are outdated and the ones on the first floor have a bad smell Their TVs are prob 15 years old and barely function

Our first room had broken furniture and lamps were missing lampshades I asked for a quiet safe room since we were traveling with an infant and we had to switch out of our room immediately because it was unclean and the AC had been running and it was 60 degreesThe lobby market was out of almost everything Their is no ice on the upper floors They filled in their hot tub so that is gone and I couldn’t even get a lid to fit my coffee in the morning at breakfast… These are not the Marriott standards that I have experienced at all other locations Unfortunately this is the worst Marriott I have stayed at

We felt welcome The receptionist was very friendly There is a nice sitting area in front of the reception where we could sit with our guest

Coffee and tea available the whole day around We didn’t use the pool but it looked invitingThe room, as well as the bathroom, was nice, spacious and superclean Coffeemaker with coffee and chocolate drink available in the roomThe breakfast was good

Great and convenient location, very quiet area and felt safe Close to downtown Denver The two gentlemen at the front desk were attentive and friendly

Rooms seemed cleaned, beds and pillows were comfortable Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast; breakfast area was kept fully stocked and clean Pool is outdoors and appeared well maintained The only issue is that we had our “do not disturb” on the door and a male attempted to enter our room while my daughter was taking a shower He didn’t even knock prior, just used his master key and opened the door, didn’t announce himself prior to entering…no kind of warning whatsoever Luckily, I was standing in the bathroom so I was able to stop him immediately He just said sorry and left I was just confused as to why he was entering because 1) our “do not disturb” was on the door handle, 2) when we checked in the evening prior, the gentleman at the front desk stated the room would not be serviced unless we specifically requested 3) there’s even a sign on the bathroom mirror stating the rooms would not be serviced unless specifically requested or if you were staying more than X amount of days/nights, which we were not

Lea Clay

We were in town for a race and had a delightful stay Our race started before the complimentary breakfast, so we were given free granola bars the night we arrived, and before flying out we were even able to fit in a hike after check out with multiple free water bottles while the staff watched our luggage In addition, we felt very welcomed and the staff was incredibly kind and generous

One of our best hotel experiences!

Amazing hotel, loved our stay so much we stayed an extra night! All the basics you expect (clean, friendly staff, good service, etc) but then so much more The hotel itself is beautiful and the room has by far the best mini bar I’ve seen in any hotel

Lots of outlets, nice room layout, great views of Denver, comfy seating, nice beds, the list goes on A space I actually felt really comfortable to be in and not just a place to sleepBut the KEY is really the bar, food, and staff I had high expectations for Death & Co they somehow exceeded them Cannot possibly recommend this hotel / bar enough

We slept good, though they’re were indents from the mattress use The housekeepers said good morning to us, and told us to take our time They just wanted us to know they were next door so there might be some noise We are breakfast on the restaurant and man oh man were those pancakes with molasses butter quite divine! Really enjoyed our stay at The Maven The staff are a particular standout, everyone who works here, from the concierge to security, is friendly, sweet, and professional On of the guys at the door, Aaron, drove us to pick up a rental and gave us some great tips along the way

The room has a minimalist vibe, but the bed was comfy, the shower and bathroom was spacious, and the balcony was great Tough to beat the location as well, right in the heart of downtown and near some great restaurants and shopping And, to top it off, there was a local market happening in the alley outside of the hotel, which was really well done and full of cool stuff We’ll definitely be back!

Samantha Young

We were over the moon with our stay at The Maven Kristin and the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helped us make the most of our stay The rooms are super cute and modern with amazing views

We love the artsy vibe of the whole place, swing while you wait for the elevator? Yes please The restaurants and bars downstairs are also praise worthy and super hip Love that you get a free happy hour drink too This is the perfect home base for a stay in Denver We enjoyed starting the day with a cup of coffee at Huck Hope to come back the next time we are in town!

Amelia Power

We stayed at the Maven for a special celebration evening We had been wanting to stay at this hotel for quite awhile as we really enjoy this part of town Overall, it was a good stay

Our room was fantastic in that it had a huge patio, the bed was very comfy with nice linens, service all around was awesome, and we really enjoyed our evening downtown and coffee on the patio in the morning However, for the price (almost $700/night), the Maven really needs to step up their game There were only outlets on one side of the bed (and it was clear that they had sort of rigged that power strip into the side table) The shower is good, but there are no shelves inside to keep personal items, so you have to place them on the shower floor (yuck!) There was no mini fridge and the coffee set up (messy pour over) was chintzy Finally, the perk of this room was the big patio, so you would expect that they provide extra blankets or some way to enjoy the outdoor area in late winter, but there was nothing When you pay luxury prices, you expect to feel pampered and have your needs anticipated, and this hotel did not meet that expectation
