Excellent! This hotel is in a great location…close to many restaurants and bars As soon as we walked into reception we were greeted by a lovely woman (unfortunately can’t recall her name) I mentioned that my husband was parked at the front of the building

Not a problem, Kevin will go get him and show him where to park Everything was explained about the hotel They have a cooler full of complimentary soft drinks and water in the lobby…ice cold…no vending machines here Kevin took our luggage to our beautiful room 201 Living room, kitchen fridge stocked with complimentary ice cream bars…yum! Lovely bathroom and bedroom After touring around we went back to the hotel and went to the complimentary wine and cheese reception Lovely choices of wine with an ample cheese, cracker and fruit plate brought to our table The reception takes place in a large comfortable lounge with lots of seating Absolutely loved this hotel Kevin, you were wonderful!

I just stayed here with my friend a few weeks ago and it was the most amazing experience! The room was so big and comfortable AND we were greeted with ice cream in the freezer But the BEST part and why we will be coming back for sure was the fantastic staff! Ashley was so helpful with suggestions and didn’t mind talking with us Nathan was wonderful and did not mind our crazy questions and chatty personalities l!!! We felt welcomed, comfortable, and everything in between

Charlotte Ciocco

Olde Harbor Inn is an excellent place to stay Conveniently located to everything and on the riverfront The rooms were spacious and clean

The hotel is beautiful and in a great locationOur room was very spacious and felt recently renovated (photos attached with this review) We had a nice view of the river from our rooms and could watch the huge container ships come and goWe enjoyed breakfast both mornings in Blue, A Savannah Bistro The food and service were excellentWe would highly recommend this hotel!

Robert Heussy

I am very impressed by this place! It was a beautiful hotel and I will mostly definitely go back It has a very comfortable and welcoming feel to it I did mention a few things to the lady at the counter about the cleanliness of the bathroom and the toilet running all night, but I still think this place deserves five stars

I hope they can use my feedback to better serve their guest Also if anyone from the hotel sees the post, you guys need some benches outside near the front door 😁 Thanks for the great stay My bill was $287 (I got snacks added to my room)

Charles Hall

What an amazing place to stay for a first time visit to Savannah! I stayed here with my best friend for a few nights (we will be back) and we absolutely loved it Steve welcomed us so warmly and was our favorite person throughout our stay! He went above and beyond with every interaction we had The property is stunning and the location was absolutely perfect

We were within walking distance of anything we could’ve possibly wanted to do or needed – this included multiple restaurants, shopping, coffee, the River, etc Lafayette Square is immediately outside of the Inn and it is gorgeous The staff was so accommodating The breakfast each morning was DELICIOUS, you could truly tell it was all made from scratch I wish I could give this more than 5 stars, because I would! I can’t say enough amazing things about this Inn Really looking forward to coming back

This review is long overdue! This was the most incredible place I have ever been The home was so breathtaking and made you feel like you had stepped back in time From the moment we walked in the door the staff was so friendly

The gentleman who checked us in, carried our extremely heavy luggage all the way up to the third floor! It was so kind of him and we were incredibly grateful since we had traveled from so far The staff was so fun, always inviting us down for wine and snacks that totally made us feel welcome We had no idea there was breakfast each morning, and what a delight it was! It felt like we were living in this beautiful home and enjoying it with friends and family alike! I can’t wait to come back and am counting down the days till I return! A huge thank you to the wonderful staff 🙂

Once you find the hotel it is great Street signage in Savannah isn’t always the best It has a fantastic location on the River Walk

The rooms are fun and well maintained The people at the hotel are friendly and helpful The reason for 4 stars on service is the bad experience at breakfast the last day The waitress was by herself Based on how she worked she is relatively inexperienced She would fill the water and then disappear before bringing coffee, only to disappear again to get cream The service was extremely slow We waited a long time for coffee Meanwhile the hostess played on her phone while waiting for customers It took over an hour for a bowl of berries and a slice of coffee cake I appreciate there are labor shortages, the hostess and manager could have assisted

Nickname unavailable

The temperature in our room was set to 76 degrees, but the registered 71 degrees Hall way is freezing so we put blanket under door, but to no avail Noise from neighboring room was inappropriate at 12:15 am

Balcony was dirty and disgusting! We were upgraded to river view due to points! Tried to call guest services, but phone in room is broken Tried on cell to contact, but kept ringing and ringing! Rooftop bar was dirty and noisy, nothing like the picture on website! Eat downstairs and was outstanding having grits and shrimp and salmon Straighten up Marriott!

Carolyn Hunt

Wish I could leave six stars! What a great experience Unexpected stay but as soon as Cedric & Jessica shared their hospitality and exuberance I knew I had made the right last minute choice Everything was nice and good quality without being pretentious

Courtney was great at breakfast and I don’t even want to leaveWell worth it!

This is an awesome place to stay, from the start valet helped us unload and get luggage to our room, check in awesome, staff was amazing Room is very comfy and large, most of all clean I requested extra towels an pillows prior to arrival and they were there for us

Concierge very helpful with our yours and so nice Loved the view from our room We look forward to our stay in June, can’t wait

Cons – At check-in the front desk staff began complaining to us how bad things are at DeSoto and the staffing shortage They were right! Staff didn’t know who had what room, put us in wrong room, and couldn’t get us room we reserved We requested champagne be delivered upon arrival, and it was delivered to someone else! Coffee bar staff – great service first morning, but day after staff was too busy chatting amongst themselves, and were not the least bit concerned several customers were waiting to order

Room could have been cleaner, and had only 1 roll of toilet paper for several people in room Called Housekeeping and no one picked up after 2-3 minutes Had to go to front desk ourselves to retrieve toilet paper Good luck with the safe! Took several tries to lock and open every day, but glad we got it locked after reading prior reviewsPros – Beautiful lobby, great location and bar/patio/valet staff were awesome Becky tried helping with room and champagne – we received champagne following day but ended up in room we did not request because someone else had already checked in to room

I went to this location a few months ago on a work trip and never made a shout out to the River Street Inn’s hospitality For a building with such history/age you could tell the workers took pride in keeping the place clean, functional, and fun The staff were extremely helpful on giving great food recommendations and the valet service was prompt and nice

The gym was quaint, but had everything a person could need to stay in shape The beds were comfortable and the showers had great water pressure and the water heater allowed for the showers to get super hot I would give them a 6 stars out of 5 if that was possible I look forward to returning back in the near future

Jennifer Ludewig

This place is GORGEOUS and so full of character My husband, myself, and our two young daughters all stayed here from Saturday-Monday for a gymnastics competition The hotel was extremely clean, the staff on all levels was fantastic from start to finish and super accommodating

Each room is slightly different than the next, and the river views are gorgeous The barges passing by felt like they were so close! The one thing I will note is that if you’re staying over the weekend on the side facing the river, prepare for some potential noise Saturday night, there were some really cool cars down on river street (sting ray type cars) but they had their music on FULL BLAST You could hear it through everything, and the hotel does not have ear plugs on hand Thankfully, it ended somewhere around 10-1015 which is honestly reasonable, but if you have super young kids that go to bed early, it could be an issue for you Sunday night, all was quiet, so it seems to just be a weekend thing (we were also there the weekend before St Patty’s day so things are starting to pick up down there) I did not take a star off of my review for that because I didn’t feel it was fair to dock the hotel’s review over something they have ZERO control over I just wanted to mention it so folks are aware in case that’s an issue for youI always like to mention that I wasn’t solicited to write this review, and I’m not receiving anything for writing this review My opinions and thoughts are genuine and not driven by anything other than wanting to share my experience at a great place

Michael Kiffney

Sent my wife to Savannah for a long relaxing weekend, reserving her a room in the River Street Inn They told her they had a great room on the top floor – but it turns out they were dumping a room on her The utility closet in the hall was so loud – turning on with a racket (not normal sounds) every 5 minutes all day and night

When she told the front desk (a very surly woman), she said they would fix it – nothing they did changed anything When she went back and said it was still happening, they told her they didn’t hear it – so she played them the recording of it she made on her phone She asked for a different room – the surly woman said they were bookedIt is clear that someone had been moved out of that room before she checked in and they dumped her in there So far the hotel staff has been unhelpful, disrespectful and surly We would never go back again – we’ve stayed in Savannah many many times and always had great experiences This was more than a disappointment – for the prices they charge, they could at least provide a room superior to a Motel 6UPDATE: A new employee got my wife moved for her final night of her stay Thank goodness Today, I heard from the manager Joseph offering a generous credit for the two nights of disruptions So kudos to the manager for offering to take care of the situation, even after the fact

I will start by saying I booked this hotel based solely on location and the fact it was a Hilton I went back and read reviews and was nervous was to what we would experience One I read was that they expected more, and we met a man in the hallway who said the same thing

Let me just say we had the best stay here I have no idea what the other people who wrote reviews were talking about I absolutely loved the old wood floors in the room and the exposed brick Our king size bed was the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel room The room was clean, the bathroom beautiful and updated The hotel smelled clean (response to a different review) The location was perfect The staff friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us We paid a flat $39 valet fee We didn’t use our car so I don’t know if they charge more if you use their service more If they did I wouldn’t have minded since they had to run several blocks to the parking garage to retrieve our car We will be back for sure Thank you Hilton and Cotton Sail for making our romantic weekend away all we hoped for

Toni Anderson

I booked this hotel under the false pretense that it was an extravagant 4-star hotel How could any hotel keep 4 stars when NONE of the rooms have a microwave OR mini fridge Thank God we only stayed one night, so our food and beverages didn’t completely ruin

They don’t even have a microwave in the lobby or anywhere They do have restaurants on the roof (I wouldn’t even be able to reheat leftovers, which is a rip off AND a health risk), but everything is way overpriced, of course, because they have a breathtaking view of the river up there (The only thing this hotel truly has going for it by the way) They have mandatory valet parking, which seems nice, but they keep your keys during the whole stay, which means I didn’t have access to my vehicle unless they let me have access, which causes my anxiety to be terrible Not to mention, they charge you $39 for this service that I didn’t even want in the first place When we were checking in, it took a while for the system to audit, forcing us to wait They were nice enough to give us free complimentary water bottles, but we couldn’t keep them cold anyway since they don’t have refrigerators I should have done more research before booking this room Surely ANY other hotels would be better than this one, and more convenient They trick you into booking with photos of nice rooms, and the view on their website

Jaime Shumate

The sheets were so itchy and dirty The old wooden floors were beautiful but dirty and sticky There was a band playing until at least midnight below us, which was actually the best part of our stay falling asleep to music

The location u is s fantastic and other than not answering the front desk phone the staff were very helpful We lived in Savannah for 5 years and come back often We will definitely be staying next door at the Bohemian for our future trips since it’s superior in every way We thought we’d take a chance on a new place and it wasn’t good An absolute must for any decent place to rest is a clean room and decent sheets

Friendly Staff Nice hotel needs TLC Room was an upgrade and had to wait until after checkout but too tiny for two people

I’m thankful we got an upgrade It a special weekend so my mistake not reserving a suite There was a nice welcoming Happy Hour Location is on the water front It has been a hard time with the pandemic so l can understand some maintenance items have been postponed Carpets need a good cleaning and upholstery in room is stained That said however the mattress is like sleeping on a cloud, it’s among the best I’ve ever slept on It’s adequate but for a truly amazing weekend I might try other options in the future

Sophie Folly

We have stayed at the Brice several times and loved it every time This was our first stay post-pandemic and it did not disappoint The staff, as usual, were very professional, friendly and helpful

The room was great (except it could have used some sheers on the window since it faced the street) Looks like they changed out the furniture in the courtyard, and feels less cozy than it used to Also, the curtains that used to drape the outdoor walkway were a very nice touch Please bring back these design touches The courtyard was one of the best spots in the hotel

Kristina LaCoste

This hotel was so awesome to stay at!! Our room was clean, the staff was amazing, I loved the decor, and the restaurant had good dessert I booked this place without doing any research on Savannah and I’m so glad we stayed here! We were able to watch the saint paddy’s day parade right outside the hotel and it was a blast They even had bikes you can take to bike around the town (we didn’t use them, but what a cool option!) The location was perfect for walking across the street to all the cute shops for snacks and goodies

Absolutely loved this spot If we ever need a hotel in Savannah again, I’m coming here

I can’t say enough about this hotel The staff is amazing

all of them They treat you like royalty The rooms are gorgeous! Beds are very comfy We stayed here a few weeks ago on our way to Key West and when we called to ask for our same room this time they gladly helped us out We enjoyed the great big balcony that has rocking chairs and a fabulous view of town Breakfast here, which is included, is fancy too

Niki Dean

Stayed here for a girls weekend and it was great The location is awesome so it’s walking distance to a lot of the shops and restaurants Free breakfast and drinks in the lounge on some nights

Staff is friendly and helpful Only complaint was they advertised for the bistro next door but it was hard to even book a reservation even though we were right next door Our room was dirty in the bathroom and the sheets on the bed The atmosphere is really awesome though would be back

Heather O’Shea

We wanted to experience an old southern hotel and we’re very pleased We heard the historian speak one night and we explored all the floors with their history I was concerned the ac would not be able to keep up with the heat but it was comfortable

To go onto the balcony we had to go through a window but the view was worth it Broughton street was under construction so it was noisy during the day The breakfast was great; just circle the items and it is served quick I like that the food was only handled by staff as I am not a fan of buffets used by many people

The Hyatt always takes great care of us and this location was no exception! Absolutely stunning views of the bridge and river The balconies aren’t quite deep enough to sit out on, but the weather was cool so we sat just inside the open slider and thoroughly enjoyed watching the cargo ships, tugboats and ferries Lots of birds too – cormorants, gulls, grackles and even a bald eagle! And dolphins every night at sunset – I had no idea they came so far inland! The front desk staff were welcoming and so helpful

The valet employees were exceptional, always so quick and kind and we loved being able to pick our car up on the parking level and not deal with the busy traffic out front The women at the Express restaurant were lovely as well All around a fantastic trip! We felt very safe here and loved how clean everything was If we weren’t still in this darn pandemic, I would’ve spent more time in the lobby and bar as they had great views too The only thing we were missing was a microwave, but we didn’t really need one with all the options they had available Thank you, Hyatt Regency Savannah!

This hotel is an excellent value in the historic district at a prime location A beautiful modern hotel on the river with views of river traffic It’s downstream from the busy container ship port-not scenic but interesting

Summer rates will soar with good reason so visit in the winter and enjoy the spring like temperatures- much better than the heat later in the year Only downside is the cost to park-valet- but considering the service intensity it’s not unreasonable at $38 daily I paid one night when I arrive very late and changed parking to the city garage a short distance across Bay St on Whittaker-$16 daily Easy to use I plan to return in a few years and may try one of the historic B&B’s as a contrast The historic district of Savannah is one of the best destinations in the country- beauty, charm, historical interest and tons to do This hotel is perfect for a first visit

Great hotel Friendly staff Very clean

The rooms were quiet, (except when the guy decided to play his trumpet on the riverwalk You could hear it on the six floor, but running the fan helped to drown him out) We paid for a river view, and it was worth every penny! Moon River was inspired here! Would definitely recommend (View from our hotel room)

First time staying in Homewood Suites and extremely happy This property is conveniently located to historic Savannah and right on the river Even if you don’t have a water view room, the rooftop bar has a great view

The rooms were spacious and our bedroom even had a ceiling fan which is what we are used to at home Included breakfast was nothing elaborate but was good and helped keep the travel expenses under control Only valet parking is available but it was convenient and the valet staff was very nice There is some road noise during the day but not at night when trying to sleep Definitely would stay at this property again!

My husbands and my overall experience at the hotel was great because it’s in Savannah! Conveniently located, close to a lot of great restaurants, very knowledgeable staff, great rooftop view of the river I give the hotel three stars because we did not receive the king bed we originally booked and were in a queen bed Also, when requested to change rooms, we could not change that evening and minimal effort was made by the hotel manager to change rooms and we ended up staying in the same room our entire stay

She offered to “call our room” but gave off the impression was sincerely the “least” she could do (Who waits by their hotel room phone? That’s why we have smartphones) As well as the pool area was not well kept water wise, creating a corner of hair and grime in the corner The pool was warm because the heated pool feature was not turned off during a very hot week in June (One day was real feel of 114) So yes, it’s a good hotel, the rest of the staff did do well, the valet works SUPER hard to be efficient, knowledgeable and welcoming There are shining employees at this location and great rooftop service for drinks and food I would come back and hopefully next time it will be running better after coming out of a pandemic

We booked a regular room but were assigned an ADA-accessible room We went back to the front desk to say we didn’t feel right about taking this type of room when we are able-bodied The clerk was rude, rolled his eyes at us, and said the hotel was full, that was all they had

Yet he offered us a larger room for a substantial additional fee Were they full or not full? He acted like we were intruding on his time and wanted us to just go away The housekeeping staff needs training as well The bed was made up with the mattress cover as the top sheet Who does that? I tried reaching the manager 8 times after our stay I left messages each time and never got a return call Unacceptable The breakfast was fair and the staff in the dining room was very nice The valet parking was very expensive I know we could have made a much better choice in hotels Hilton was a disappointment

Azalea Inn was a little paradise! We stayed there for a last minute honeymoon when our original plans got canceled due to new travel restrictions a few days before our wedding Teresa made sure to make our alternate honeymoon feel just as special Her home-cooked breakfasts are amazing and it’s a wonderful treat to come back to homemade desserts every evening

The back courtyard is the real treasure of this inn, it feels like a paradise oasis I only wish the descriptions of the rooms were a bit more clear – I couldn’t tell which rooms had jacuzzi tubs and which didn’t, so we ended up in a room that didn’t have one

From the moment we walked through the door and saw Tom, The general manager it was a wonderful stay from beginning to end We met many charming people, the food was delectable, great tips and advice from Tom about places to go and experiences to have in the area The pool was a wonderful surprise, Just steps from our rooms private balcony, clean and refreshing in a secluded garden in the back

We look forward to staying here again Richard & Susan M

Our stay at Azalea Inn was delightful My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in Savannah for a week, and we chose the perfect Bed & Breakfast (Cotton Exchange room) The staff provided exemplary southern hospitality by patiently answering our endless questions with a smile, serving delicious food and evening desserts, and providing an extremely clean and quiet environment

If you are looking for a charming, quintessential Savannah experience, we highly recommend the Azalea Inn!

The group sales team was challenging We made an email confirmation but had apparently not sent in appropriate pdf form, and they would not honor a reservation made months and months ahead of time costing us an extra 500 dollarsThe hotel staff was kind and helpful

The facility was as it should beclean and fairly comfortableOur group appreciated the breakfast with some warm options, cereal and basic fruit selections

Marine Langreney

Really great location, comfy beds and everything was clean The breakfast isn’t great, but it motivated me to get out in the morning and explore breakfast options My room randomly didn’t have power at one point, but I ran into the employee Heaven in the hallway and she was really helpful and got it fixed ASAP! The woman at the front desk (didn’t catch her name, but I left Thu April 28) was really nice and accommodating when I had to leave my stuff behind for a few hours

AmBria Watts

My first room I had to be moved because the bed was dirty The next room lights did not work properly in the bathroom but it wasn’t worth complaining about The breakfast selection is horrible

It’s just a waffle and biscuit in plastic heated up, muffins, fruit and instant oatmeal This is served daily There is a bar on site but I did not try it nor did I see anyone in the area The location is perfect for tour attractions, trolley, and restaurants But, that’s the only positive I have for this hotel Besides the nice lady who always spoke with us during breakfast daily, other than that, no there staff was as pleasant

My family and I stayed in this hotel on our trip to Georgia early January I am big on reviewing and personally, this hotel deserves it Initially, when we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome

The lobby has such a great smell, there are sanitary stations throughout the hotel The location 10/10 We couldn’t believe how close everything was Not once did we have to use the car This is where they exceeded my expectations when checking out, I ended up leaving a personal item behind and they went out of their way and shipped it to me (I live 8 hours away) Thank you to all the girls who helped me with this, my item arrived in perfect condition Couldn’t be more grateful! Overall, keep up the amazing customer service Can’t wait to be back!

LOVED IT! My wife and I booked this spot to stay while we prepped for our wedding and we were BEYOND satisfied One of the biggest reasons for this was our guest service agent Jamie Garfield She was incredibly sweet and helpful

She went above and beyond to give my wife and I AMAZING SERVICE 10 out of 10 would recommend HIRE MORE PEOPLE LIKE JAMIE!

Derek Fuller

The room was ok,it was clean but they echo every little noise No coffee in the morning until the breakfast is prepared which is ridiculous We could hear the room above us and next to us

You HAVE to use valet it’s the only option and it’s $39 The valet system was down so it took a long time to get our car The valet attendant was doing his very best though, and he was very polite and friendly even though this hotel has a cheap retrieval system I honestly felt bad for the guy I was very disappointed with my stay With the name Hilton I expect much more then a cheap hotel with a high price The area around the hotel had a lot of creepy vagabonds and homeless people blasting music and they were everywhere They even will walk by your table when eating and disrupt your meal to beg for money I was very very dissatisfied with the historic district

I had the absolute best time ever staying at the Georgianne Inn! After a 4hr drive, I was so excited to find out my husband booked a stay at this beautiful location for my birthday We were greeted by two very friendly front desk associates who also provided us with a ton of recommendations for restaurants and activities We met some great people during our five day stay, and we’ll be back but next time we’re bringing the whole family!

Tammy Dearstyne

It’s a travesty to pay $266 for one night in a dirty motel room We had a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen that had dirty dishes in the cabinets and shrimp shells in the sink Dust everywhere, old smelly carpeting, bathrooms not sanitized and dirty fingerprints on all the doors

We checked the bed thoroughly and thankfully the sheets looked clean and no signs of bedbugs Spoke to the desk manager when we returned keys and she was completely blasé For $266/night this joint needs to step up and get their act together

Highway robbery! We were charged peak season rates for a dirty room with a non functioning bathroom The family suite ( 3 bedroom, 2 baths) is VERY worn and not clean One shower did not work and the other had barely any water pressure

The toilets had rings and streaks, clearly not regularly cleaned One bed did not have sheets The cable boxes did not work, so we could not use any of the TV’s The front of the refrigerator is rusted and most of the cooking items are sticky or grease covered When I called to get bedding for the bed with no sheets, I was placed on hold for 25 minutes The carpet and furniture are worn, stained and not clean There is visible dirt in every corner Visitors should note that check in, check out and the service desk are at the Desoto Inn about a mile away Our stay was a complete disappointment
