This is towards the end of the business district on Whiskey Rd, but plenty close to everything you need It’s not new, but in pretty good shape Our beds were more firm than I’d like, but not terrible

The breakfast is the standard continental The employees were nice There is a nice seating area but it was hot, so I didn’t get a chance to chill They have vending machines and a very small vending area near the check-in desk The parking lot is huge and there seem to be quite a few service companies with large trucks and trailers (not tractor trailers) staying there and they had room too We got there on a Monday and the pool was green and that’s disappointing because it was hot They hit it with some stuff on Tuesday, but it still wasn’t clean (see photos) The TV was small My other complaint was the new plugs were not anchored to the wall, so every time I unplugged my computer the wall outlet popped out of the wall This is definitely dangerous for a child, luckily it seems like a cord versus being wired

We used to stay here for a few days every February and it was great, very clean We missed a couple years and stayed again this past February I was disappointed that it had gone downhill

My room had an odor and wasn’t very clean The whole place looked and smelled liked it needed a good cleaning The location is great and the motel could be nice again but it needs people who care

Do NOT stay at this hotel , BEWARE!!!! This hotel charged my card over 1,300 , when told about the charges every employee said they couldn’t “see” the charges as I had them on my online mobile banking on my phone and get text alerts that I showed them They said the charges could NOT be refunded but only a partial amount could be & before we left it was charged again $352 after we paid for our entire stay in full and had the receipts and even had the manager sign the receipts Poor staff as well , had a very poor attitude about any and everything, I work nights so I would go down and ask for towels bc I never received room service & was told she couldn’t get them at the time that she would bring them up to my room & NEVER did!!! Should not have employees with poor customer service skills & poor attitudes

My family will NEVER stay here again ! Again BEWARE they will overcharge you’re credit card repeatedly & not fix the issue !

This was a reservation that was made in 2020 and was a reschedule due to Covid altering the Masters schedule and amount of people permitted to attend the past 2 years I had pushed it back twice with no problems Early in 2022 I was emailed and called to be told by the hotel that I did not have a room and that the people I had dealt with previously should not have rescheduled me due to the strict limits on the reservation due to the high demand of the hotel due to the Masters

After I was told all this the hotel told me they needed to address a customer in front of them and put me on hold for a long time I finally hung up the phone Within the hour the same person called me back and their position on my reservation had changed They said they could accommodate me but made it a point to tell me I was out of luck if I was able to use the room and could not move the reservation again The tone of the call made me fell like I was not wanted and this was for CYA documentation onlyNeedless to say I was offered Masters tickets on a different day from what this reservation covered I did not call to cancel because frankly what is the point after how I was treated I still got my receipt though!Nothing like losing $1,300 and feeling like I was being treated like I wasn’t wanted by the hotel!

At first glance this place looks OK but the closer you look the worse it gets For a newer remodel this place has not been keep up or treated well Stains and marks on everything

The worst part was the parking Good thing we did not have a fire Fire lane turned into the parking lane Wow Workers were very nice but management must not care about the facility

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICENormally I would have given this hotel 3 stars (average) since it is nothing special But an incident and the managers (Owillinda Brooker) total disrespect and disregard for the concerns if her customers make this a horrible place to stayMultiple cars were broken into in the parking lot

Apparently has happened before in the area and in this exact hotel Security cameras in parking lot faced all the cars that were vandalized Cameras not working, no security, sketchy stuff happening in parking lot at night and local police are NOW informedWanted to talk to the manager regarding this issue and concerns After multiple requests, she finally called my room to talk to me and I said I would come right down She said no, she did not have much time and what did I need Expressed my concern on the safety of the property, parking lot and was rudely told “that is not our problem”DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE

Stayed during the Master’s Golf Tournament week and had a wonderful time Great location with plenty of good places to eat, shop and walk across the parking lot to the movie theater on a rainy day The hotel was very clean and beds were comfy

The entire staff was friendly and always smiling Every morning there was plenty of options for breakfast and they never ran out of coffee!!! Our waitress, Debra was very nice and accommodating Lastly, I want to give a special thank you to Josh for going above and beyond excellent customer service for making our stay so enjoyable He was extremely attentive and treated us as if we were a family member We will definitely stay at this hotel for our next visit

I stayed on the side with the pool and it was super quiet good for a nights sleep Unfortunately this site is still using the old air mattress that i thought all garden inns were supposed to replace so you wake in the night sunk in like laying in a bathtub with a backache besides that staff was polite as well Breakfast omelette was way overcooked

The front desk staff was fantastic! The heating and cooling was fantastic! The rest was rough… left our room to go get dinner, when we returned it smelled like pot! Appeared to be coming from the adjacent room next door Pulled out the fold out couch and there were food crumbs everywhere, a bottle of shampoo and a spoon under the pull out There was no bedding for the pull out bed

We walked to the front to get some and we were given a top sheet and a holy blanket There was a dead moth stuck to the wall Only half of the channels on the tv came in The refrigerator wouldn’t open until we pulled it out It was nice and quite after 1AM

This is our absolute favorite restaurant in Aiken The food is amazing I am gluten free and have a few other allergies

They have many things that I can safely eat and are so accommodating to change something if needed Our waiter Bruce was fantastic as well He was so friendly, answered all of my questions, and suggested accommodations to make it allergy friendly for me He was the best waiter I’ve had in a very long time We will definitely be back and ask for Bruce

We loved coming here over Valentine’s Day weekend They had a wonderful set up in the room for our dog and a welcome basket with dog treats, a dog pillow, and dog bowl! The bed was luxuriously comfortable and the room had everything we needed including a mini fridge Definitely go to their restaurant too, excellent food and service

Was too cold to swim but love that they have a saltwater pool

Boutique Hotel with fabulous halls/rooms In a historic building Great roof top bar with nice seating outside not feeling cramped

Good cocktails The inside portion of the bar has a tendency to be a bit loud although they do have seating on each side of the bar inside as well that is a bit quieter It was the customer voices “in the area” that were loud Restaurant on main level nice food choices

We stayed at this facility as a group for a major function in the area Upon arrival rooms weren’t ready The manager LaShonda was absolutely so obnoxiously rude

Later learning that her staff had quit on her We didn’t get housekeeping for the first 2 days Had to go to front desk for towels, trash wasn’t taken out The rooms are very small Also we were charged an incidental fee upon arrival that I have NEVER experienced anywhere I traveled Upon check out the young man that did my paperwork stated I would get my incidental fee back in 5 to 7 days Totally unacceptable considering I stripped my beds, and took out my own trash I would not recommend this place for large functions in this area On a positive note the hotel is updated and very pretty and clean If our sport was to return to your area next year, I would suggest if you want our large organization as a repeat customer you get your act together between now and next July

I don’t think I’ve ever encountered staff as friendly and helpful as the folks at Fairfield Inn in Aiken, SC From the front desk staff to the lovely ladies who helped with breakfast, every one was an excellent example of true Southern hospitality And the breakfast was a most pleasant surprise, since all I was expecting, per the website, was a Continental breakfast of maybe boxed cereal and juice, but we enjoyed crustless quiche, turkey sausage, sausage gravy, make-your-own waffles, and more!

Jorrye Nixon

Room was OK and cleaning staff was friendly, but the receptionists are kind of slow when it comes to knowing how to use their system It took me 30 mins to check-in because they didn’t put my payment info in correctly, thus making me think my card was declining which was scary and inconvenient because I’m from 2 hours away and had to call my bank to make sure I could use the money in my account Also, the receptionist told me there would be “only” a $40 hold on my card and I had that hold, plus an additional $60 hold that wasn’t discussed with me and I didn’t know about added on

And when I asked about it over the phone I was met with a snarky attitude, which is disappointing considering how they inconvenienced me when I was checking in

HORRIBLE!!!!! The room we walked into had a roach on the floor and it was dirt on the floor like nobody cleaned the room I went to the front desk to speak with anybody available the girl at the front desk had her legs kicked up airpod in her ear and when she saw me walk to the counter she looked at me and rolled her eyes I told her about the situation and she said with an attitude well what you want me to do about it

From that moment on i asked for a manager she said there is no manager and she’s new so she doesn’t know how to do anything Strike 2 why would you have somebody who’s not properly trained by themselves She then proceeded to talk to me with an attitude so i gave her one right back I asked her what’s her name so when i speak to the manager she would get the right consequences for her actions Her customer service is very poor and she needs to work on it

Our stay at 419 Hayne was absolutely wonderful! Our family visited Aiken for Thanksgiving and we were able to book all four rooms in the block which was perfect! Everyone was able to have their own space while still be together The rooms were ALL beautiful My husband and I have done a lot of traveling, both in the US and overseas and have to stay that the amenities and finishes at Hayne rival some of the finest five star hotels we have stayed in worldwide

It is clear the attention to detail found everywhere Hayne offers the convenience and perfect little touches that a hotel can offer but the space and privacy of a vacation rental We HIGHLY recommend 419 Hayne and will definitely be back!

Staff was exceptional Room was clean & serviceable & in the right location! We were driving & driving & didn’t see any sights of a motel until we happened across this tiny cluster of them in Aiken It wasn’t noisy outside, the rooms were clean

The AC could’ve been cooler, but it was 94 degrees all day & no shade trees The bed was fine to me but my wife has back problems & she didn’t sleep well; it was a bit hard on herWe had a Disabled-Accessible room & the shower was massive – enough for 2 people, easily, and it was scalding hot!Our only complaint was handled with hotel management directlyLocation: We forgot the lock for our utility trailer as we never meant to stay at a hotel But area was very well lit & the manager stated that they had cameras recording on the property 24/7 We settled in around midnight & the trailer was perfectly fine in the morning

To begin

upon our arrival, somehow our reservations had been canceled, when we had locked in on a great rate The New female employee Holly tried everything within her power to help us After calling the Wyndham corporate line I was given the runaround to about 7 different people on the phone After this being said, we stood a night at regular rate and waited to speak with manager The rooms were spacious and clean Great working air conditioning and direct TV When I went to speak w manager Nick Patel, he was extremely apologetic and very easy to resolve the issue They also have a continental breakfast that includes fresh hot waffles that you make yourself Im giving this place a solid 4 stars after going the extra mile for our stay Kudos to Holly as well as Nick thank you for showing us some Southern hospitality

Donna Moller

Start with some kind of white stain on the sloppily barely made up bed 🤢 Pull down the bedspread to find dingy ripped sheets on one bed Moving onto the bathroom door had blood or what looked like blood on the outside

The shower curtain wasn’t even hemmed just frayed at the bottom Two mangy towels hanging on the towel rod that did not smell clean followed by a long black hair stuck on one of the towels (neither of us have black nor long hair nor had we used the towels yet) Behind the door was a clearly dirty towel hanging on a hook that had been obviously used by a previous guest Everything that should have been chrome was rusted and the sink stopper was broken Last but not least, the blow dryer had so much lint in it it kept tripping the breaker! I cleaned it out to get my hair dried Soooo obviously we will never stay here again
